This has become our go-to layover for road trips The hotel is clean, new, and spacious They allow pets and check in/check out is a breeze

The staff have always been friendly and helpful The double rooms have all sorts of space and amenities, including fridge, sink, and sofa bed The location is really quiet and close to food/gas Highly recommended

Miles Hammons

The hotel is beautiful, and rooms are super clean However, I came down to do some work in the lobby so that I didn’t wake everyone in my room up The lady was there doing breakfast and there was music blaring from the breakfast area to where I asked the desk clerk who was amazing a question and couldn’t hear the answer over the music

I can understand music in the lobby but the music that was playing sounded like gospel music and I think that is a little inappropriate because not everyone has the same beliefs

Ed Smith

I stayed there 2 nights First night was just fine I had called ahead and reserved and room for a good rate was happy with stay Second night I almost couldn’t get a room, Fema in town, which means higher rates

They could give me the same rate as the night before because of I guess we are all full excuse O, Fema is in town higher rate of course Anyways the stay the second night went well except I stayed in the same room as the night before Room had been cleaned, Almost, bed sheets not changed, Pillowcases not changed everything else seemed fine For a hotel by Hilton what is up with the so-called free breakfast?? It’s no better than Motel 6 You need to fix that if you are selling rooms at 20000 per night it’s unacceptable I probably will not recommend the hotel at this location

Im in the area a lot and this will probably be my go to hotelAs soon as I walked in the whole place smelled very clean

we had 3 rooms my husband checked everyone in before the rest of us got there He said lady at the front desk was very niceWhen I got there it was later different front desk person very helpful and nice The rooms were all clean comfortable bedsThen this morning two other front desk people all very nice very pleased

Amber Jiles

The staff are exceptional and nice, this is the reason for the 2 stars Stairwells had dead bugs and some form of animal feces Room itself was surface cleaned before our arrival

No bugs found in room We did ask for a new comforter because the middle had a bright yellow spot Curtains had blood stains, cigarette butts under the counter and the pool was not in service Overall, it was an ok stay Beds are comfortable I brought my own bleach and cleaned everything myself

Shannon Fritch

Our room had no heat- temp outside was in the 30s The only saving grace was the comforter on the bed to keep warm Tub did not drain

No napkins in the the breakfast room Silverware was not stocked and I had to go looking in all the cabinets to find some I have tried for almost a month to get a manager or owner to call me back to give me some kind of credit on my bill because I am not paying full price for a room with no heat I have been given the runaround and never gotten a call back from the owner I will now be disputing it with the credit card company because this hotel is not getting a dime from me If the owner (Mark) or pseudo-manager (Bridges Patel) would have tried to work with me, I might have agreed to pay half of the bill, but when all I get is silence and ignoring me, then I am done being nice THe room was also not very clean- there was dirt in the drawers and in the AC/Heating unit I have never had this bad of an experience at a choice Hotel before This hotel really needs to be disassociated from Choice to keep the reputation up of the Choice Network

Room was clean and such, though they probably recently had a leak in shower area and it was molding Only complaint was that I booked with a booking agency and put in all our family including kids ages and when we got there they charged us 1000 extra for our kids claiming we didn’t put down all our guests

I even showed them that I did on our reservation It was 1000, I didn’t care about that, but they need to work that out But staff and rooms and breakfast was good Good interactions Cheap motel breakfast but good amount of choices hot and cold Clean facility I would definitely go again

Brandy Hosmer

My first room had hair in the tub from the previous guest The guy at the desk gave me a different room The second room was cleaner but had stains on shower curtain

The ice machine didn’t work Many of the channels on my TV didn’t work I was able to find something to watch though I went to check out the pool and the hall with the fitness center smelled very moldy I picked this hotel for the pool and the extra covid precautions they claimed to take but the extra cleanliness was non-existent The smell of mold turned me off from the pool The only good thing was the place was quiet I’m hoping the breakfast is OK Also they charge a $90 fee and don’t tell you until you get thereThey tried charging my card before I got there, even though they weren’t supposed to charge me until I actually got there They complained the card didn’t work I knew it wouldn’t until I got it fixed That’s why I picked a hotel I didn’t have to pay for until I arrived That way I could reserve it without having to worry about my card until I got to the bank to fix the issue

Rick Hoffman

Great location and very peaceful area Staff was professional The young guy working at the front desk he is very nice

I think his name is Tony Room was very clean and comfortable, beds where a little firmer than what I’m use to But a great night of sleep Definitely will be returning next time I’m in the area Thank you for your service

We arrived late Friday afternoon after having driven over 500 miles The staff were so nice , friendly and helpful We got everything we requested for a room

It was beautiful The pictures on line don’t do justice The 3 staff members We met, Genny , Terry and Ronnie were able to answer any questions we had We used to have a favorite hotel along I-65 but they were full this time This is our new favorite stopping place We will be back

FreedomFocus Flow

Great little hidden gem Bed was roomy and comfy, room was spacious with a nice bathroom, and whole place was wheelchair accessible It was winter so some things were not open but it was very clean, exceptionally kind and helpful staff, your standard issue free breakfast in the morning, and nice wide hallways that didn’t smell old and moldy like so many motels do

I would definitely stay here again if Winchester had more to offer

Beth Statt

Our room was exceptionally clean and quiet The staff was professional The breakfast was very good

I did not make it to the pool or the excercise room The tv worked just fine The bed was comfy and the sheets had that clean and starched feel I know they don’t starch the sheets but they feel nice like that And there were lots of pillows When i looked in the drawer there was an extra blanket in a plastic zippered bag And of course it looked soft and white to match the bed The room was fairly newly decorated And there was a very comfortable overstuffed chair with an ottoman There is a hair dryer and all the shampoo and shower stuff necessary

First time staying at Homewood Suites in Hamburg and will definitely stay again They are under renovation but everything was clean Our room was was very clean

The hotel was very quiet The staff was helpful and the sweetest Always smiling!I would highly recommend!!!

Rich Basher

Didn’t realize at time of booking hotel was under renovation Should have paid more attention to the notice prior to booking on the app Also a diamond and not recognized / offered water and snack

Ice machine on our floor didn’t work so had to go down to the first floor to get Room was very clean but had only one bath towel even though I included two guests on reservation Hotel was quiet – no work done at night so we did get a good night sleep Left really early so only grabbed coffee Hot food wasn’t out yet but looked like it was being prepared Would return after renovations are complete

Vickie Evans

Very nice room Motel was close to I75 so I thought the traffic noise was going to be a problem but it was not a problem at all surprisingly quiet This property is under a major renovation so the front desk and breakfast area was moved down a hallway and we were told all rooms were being renovated top to bottom

Our room was SUPER nice even though it had not been renovated It had a kitchenette with plates, cups and cooking utensils a stove microwave and full size refrigerator Breakfast was included, it was good, just not much variety in what was served maybe due to the renovations

In all, would recommend[PROS] The lobby is really nice, and is perfect for lounging in There’s also a non-smoking policy (200$ charge if you smoke in hotel room), so no marijuana smell like a lot of other hotels

The room itself was clean and had all the amenities that a normal hotel would have I payed 142$ for a room that could fit a family of 5-6 people The bed was super comfy as well Location was near a lot of restaurants[CONS] The room had a pull out bed my other family members were going to sleep in, but it didn’t come with extra pillows or blankets, just a really thin sheet and the bed itself Tried calling hotel service but didn’t even pick up! Ended up having to go down there and get the extra necessities Breakfast was okay, don’t get the nasty eggs though, but it’s free so go for it[Conclusion] Overall would come to hotel again, everything spotless/clean, no old furniture, hot water, and affordable considering what your getting Free pool, WiFi, free gym, free food The only big cons is the okay service, but if you needed to contact them I would just go to the front desk than waste your time calling them Location is perfect

Cel St.Pierre

Traveled to Lexington, KY with family members to take care of funeral arrangements and attend to matters related to the death of our brother Hyatt Place staff–front desk, breakfast crew, and housekeeping were very gracious They acknowledged our situation, expressed condolences, and made us feel comfortable using the front lobby seating areas and business center

Whatever we requested–hot water for tea, extra coffee packs for the room, fresh towels, permission to eat dinner in the “breakfast room”, glasses for use in our room–the staff cheerfully accommodated Thank you so much for being the “bright spots” during our stay

Amanda Sanders

Hotel staff were all nice There was a breakfast and the room was a nice size I look for 3 things in a hotel: a pool, a breakfast, and water pressure

The pool was cold, swimable, though unpleasant for a length of time and I did not have a desire to go back The water pressure was terrible and went down periodically which makes me think it is attached to another room where someone else was showering Also, you’d better take housekeeping when you can get it because even with specifically requesting a visit they did not come Stayed for 6 days, no housekeeping Had to go down to request towels Also, the traffic noise from the freeway was very loud Will not stay again

Horrible just horrible! Stayed this past weekend with biker group pool was green as grass with rocks at bottom good thing it rained an we didn’t want to go swimming, room was dirty looked like sheets hadn’t been cleaned or changed since last person who stayed there went up front to get new sheets to change myself after a late checkin and long drive front desk tells us she apologizes housekeeping doesn’t change cover or top sheet on rooms because they don’t have enough to take them all off an wash them to be replaced! Then next morning come down for breakfast same older front desk lady from night before was there doing breakfast coughing and hacking up a lung then proceeds to tell me an my wife she was sick so we got our coffee and left only to be home few days to my wife now feeling sickly herself so when we went an got checked for her to come back positive with covid 19! Also they jacked the price up for one of our nights on the weekend from 9524 to 11999 so check your receipt folks they are scamming people!

Leandra Cate

We stayed 2 nights and had a fairly good experience The bed was comfortable though a thicker blanket would have been much better There is a certain degree of shabbiness to the hotel in general and our room in particular – stains/wear in the carpets and scuffed walls

The room wasn’t as clean as we would have liked There was hair in the tub, faint stains on the bed linens But probably the most problematic- the dark-colored carpet was so grimy that our light colored socks showed stains after walking around in our socked feet But I didn’t see a single bug Staff were super friendly But the ‘free breakfast’ was not edible for us Still, for the price range, this was a fairly good stay

We booked and paid our room in February through third party Upon arrival in May, the clerk had an issue with payment being charged to third party and wouldn’t check us in Had to call third party to get it sorted out

Very annoying that I had to do this The staff was friendly and the room was clean, smelled good The pool was open but there was no hot tub as advertised on the website Basic continental breakfast served Signage outside the hotel said Newly Renovated, but couldn’t see where renovations where done My guess is it has been a while

This Best Western is a “motel” versus a typical Hotel Not super easy to find as it is up a hill a bit Once you find the place it is really nice

The pool is on the rooftop! The rooms are spacious and super clean The beds were very comfortable Great variety for hot and cold choices for breakfast The staff were all very nice Ground floor room made it easy to unpack and pack up the car

Hansen Ball

Stayed one night while driving back to Virginia from Colorado Folks at the front desk are friendly The room was clean and spacious, clean, and had been renovated sometime in the past few years so still felt fresh

The breakfast was good – A very large selection of cold cereals, hot eggs, potatoes, biscuits, and gravy, and very nicely presented – Much better than any breakfast I’ve had at a hotel of this level in the last couple of years It’s located away from the interstate, so road noise is not an issue Would definitely stay again

Jessica

One if the best hotel’s I have stayed in I was there for my father funeral I stayed 2 night’s the service was great hot breakfast every morning

Everything was well stocked clean and organized Pool was beautiful Staff was great my overall stay was wonderful and I will use them again when I’m down there visiting family in the future ❤❤

It’s a nice hotel, the staff are really friendly and Liza is a gem if you get to meet with her! The gym is fantastic The treadmill has Bluetooth connectivity to headphones and watches I was able to watch stuff on YouTube on the treadmill which was nice

The sunset and sunrise views are on point I caught a glimpse of the sunrise but most definitely, you can’t miss the sunset from the parking lot of the hotel It’s also close to some nice restaurants and all in all, it’s a nice place to be

Samantha Saunders

We had a quick overnight stay while driving through Quick check in, clean The beds were comfortable but the hallways were loud

There was loud music outside in or near the parking lot after midnight so I put on my phone’s sound machine app The cracks around the door let a lot of sound and light through I was surprised the breakfast isn’t complimentary like comparable hotels I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to stay here

John Flynn

The location was fantastic for convenience, only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 was that I heard the traffic from a nearby major road quite a bit It didn’t bother me much and for me the convenience of nearby gas and restaurants far outweighed any road noise but thought it bared mentionBeyond that the hotel was modern and clean and the staff was friendly

Excellent hotel for my purposes and I will stay here again next time

Hotel looks new and clean from the exterior but the room itself had been heavily used with significant signs of wear – bathroom door wouldn’t close, pullout sofa had seen better days, strong odor from a previous guest (cooking?)The breakfast was good and evening cookies and lemonade were appreciated Giving three stars because of this and the staff who were helpful and friendly

During checkout the clerk insisted the room we were checking out of was incorrect and we were assigned to a different floor and room Not sure how this happened but it left me feeling a little uneasy about our stay

Mandy K

Rude and lazy employees ! Place was dirty – hair stuck to walls and left on handicap chair/sink Breakfast had only hard boiled eggs, the batter to make waffles was so watery you couldn’t make it in the waffle maker Biscuits were dry and hard

Had a dog barking all night next to us and the people above us jumping and loud I went to the front desk at midnight to complain and ask for help The man was unsympathetic and told me there was nothing he could do “ I can’t shut the dog up” I said we have a 10 hour drive and need to sleep We were given a handicap room ( no choice) The man at the front desk said the dog bothered the owner and drove her nuts so the dog was moved we have no other rooms Had to keep TV on loud to muffle out the slamming exit door and dog When first arriving the carpet was wet and the room had a weird smell The place does not looks like the pictures listed from the rooms to the breakfast! Thank God we only had to stay one night …

Kendra Mack

Decently clean, moderately priced The staff was friendly and helpful The first room we got smelled really, really bad

It smelled like someone bled all over the room and then they tried to cover it up with tons of cleaner We immediately asked for another room and they gave us one without any issues The next room we got was clean and it smelled normal The free breakfast was ok Just eggs and sausage plus the normal breads and cereals, etc They did have waffle makers, which we liked

I’m not sure why there are so many 5 star reviews for this hotel It needs a serious deep clean We stayed for my daughter’s graduation (we live 4 hours away) and I had a total of 4 rooms

I believe ours was the worst, as far as cleanliness I was embarrassed to have booked this hotel for my family The staff were friendly, not very apologetic for my concerns but in general very friendly Pool seemed over chlorinated My family said the breakfast was very good, I didn’t partake but they enjoyed breakfast I’d have to pass on this hotel if we’re ever in the area again

Dan Kruse

Great staff, very nice place tucked quietly away at the end of the road Rooms were very clean, good TV quality, cable was a little grainy Showers were not very strong, but good enough to get the job done

Breakfast was standard HIE spread, pre covid restrictions, so that was great to seeOverall, very good overnight visit and will remember for future trips

Mary Ann Richmond

To start off with let me say the rooms were awesomeThe beds were so comfortable We had adjoining rooms One king suite and a double queen suite

We had to use the 2 sleeper sofas I went down to the front desk and asked for 3 pillows and was told there wasn’t any pillows in a not so friendly way So I asked for blankets she gets up and goes to look and comes back and saysthere were only 2 blankets and that they were for another suite We had no sheets blankets or pillows for our sleeper sofas it was awful sleeping like that being cold all night

Honestly this was the worst Hilton experience I’ve had in decades I am a regular traveler and spend well over 30 nights a year in Hiltons My requested room was given away on account of “pet friendliness” and all this time I thought paying humans were more important (ha)

After the first day of courtesy breakfast the hotel started to charge without any prior notification The toilet was clogged up before ever being used and remained so the entire week, this included our entire group across the hotel The gym had no weights and the pool had no water I had one friendly encounter with a staff member, the cook, but the rest of the time they were very unhelpful and relatively unpleasant to deal with I would argue that anyone would be better off staying at any of the other hotels in the area

Way to many dumb rules at this place The manager at the desk says it’s all because of Hiltons rules, but most locations are nothing like this As a diamond member, I would highly recommend anyone to avoid this place

No cash allowed, can’t change the tv channel in the lobby, etc Seriously, this place is insane!! One other thing, how is it possible to not have any rooms available at 2:59pm, but at 3:00pm, everyone’s room is magically ready!🤬

Tough to write this rating… Positive: very clean, quiet, comfortable bed Negative: the check-in staff argued about not needing to honor social distancing She wasn’t wearing a mask

When she asked me to approach the desk, I asked her to step back a few feet – and she actually gave me a hard time about it! I’m not saying that everyone has to wear a mask, but it’s everyone’s responsibility to respect each other
