I have nothing but good things to say about this place For starters we checked in and the Staff made us feel at home very knowledgeable and quick The room was well kept and looked amazing

I was thrilled to know that there was a pool there It was a little bit cold but very refreshing The bed was so very comfortable I slept like a baby An added bonus was that y’all had a Starbucks inside the hotel I was amazed and very thankful (I do get cranky without my morning Coffee lol) All in all we had such a great time there we will most certainly be back soon Thank you Marriott Orlando Downtown You Rock

*** Marriott Titanium Elite*** member, nice business type hotel located in downtown Orlando witching walking distance of the lake and great dining Centrally located to the business district and courts But use caution walking at night , large homeless population in the areas as in most cities Very good restaurant and bar, the “M” breakfast leaves lot to be desired

My only real issue was with the business center, no chairs and the printer was out of service the first day but the desk was able to help out printing out documents Overalls staff very attentive as one would expect in a downtown business class hotel, I will being staying again on my nest business trip to Orlando

The staff was wonderful and tried to be accommodating which is amazing considering how under staffed they were The breakfast buffet was excellent We did encounter a few issues

No Handicapp stalls in the ladies room on the main floor, air conditioner in our room did not work It was replaced with a new unit a few hours later; clogged toilet, they had to use a Plunger to fix (40 minutes later), I booked my room 6 weeks in advanced with a request for a king room with roll in shower which was confirmed Upon my arrival was informed there were given out earlier Why bother booking special requests if they are not honored We did have a walk in shower, no hand held shower head shower head and no bench to sit on Very painful trying to stand to shower Very disappointing

Jessica Glancy

I stayed here for a conference June of 2022 The staff at the front desk was super helpful and friendly My room was clean and comfortable

My only complaint is about the air conditioner in my room It ran constantly, and it was loud To get it to turn off I would turn the temperature up on the thermostat This shut the unit off, but it wouldn’t be long until the room would get humid and the air needed to be turned on The overall stay was great and I would stay here again

Alycia Alvarez

Always a great stay We’ve stayed twice with our baseball team The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly & the beds are comfortable

The location isn’t my favorite & I always have trouble with the gate in the parking lot but I will continue to stay here when we’re playing ball in Orlando The kids always enjoy the pool & hot tub & there is a restaurant & bar right down stairs, which is super convient

As the owner of Corner House Photography, I can attest to the incredible work that goes into the creation of our couples’ vision for their big day The Alfond Inn truly takes their ideas and turns it into a realityOn your wedding day, you can expect to be in a gorgeous suite – many of our brides have incredible balcony views as well

Formal portraits can be completed both inside and outside, with the staff being incredibly accommodating in letting us roam the property for that ‘perfect backdrop’Most of our couples opt for an outdoor ceremony on the lawn, and I just love the architectural backdrop of the building behind that can be seen in our photos Reception space is just to die for – with gorgeous lighting, tablescapes, and a killer dance floorCorner House Photography truly cannot recommend this venue enough!

Stayed there mid-week July 6-8 All around nice place to stay in Winter Park Very fitting

Only issue was they had a A/C issue in the bar restaurant, but were addressingEveryone was friendly but what stood out to go from a 4 to a 5 was their valets They were friendly, prompt, and when I brought my elderly mother to stay in a my room for some of the day, they were quick to assist with putting her wheelchair in the car, and patient as we moved here in and out of the entrance Just little things like that make big differences

Anita Gil

Oh goodness! We had several issues!1) We requested a play pen for our daughter when we checked in at 3pm We brought it up to not only the valet gentleman but also the front desk womanBy 5 we had not received it yet so we requested again

Still Nothing but the same response: “ok, we will work on it for you Then after our event concluded we asked for an update only to find out that there were no more available-even though we requested it 10hrs earlier2) Food was decent but not worth the price that was requested3) Air in our room was poor and not cooling efficiently4) Our fridge was not cooling the way it should be I am a nursing mother and had breast milk in the fridge It was just at the required temperature The employee just unplugged it in and out Did not even offer us a new fridge5!! Our smoke alarm went off 4 times for zero reason! And the employee arrived 3hrs after the fact to check it!

The welcoming front desk agents (Franklin), the F&B staff (Marco), and the great Sales & Events department (Ashley) made our meetings and over night stay so pleasurable! The staff was so professional and genuinely warm and friendly The hotel was clean and the food for our 2 day catered meeting was absolutely delicious! All my coworkers raved about the food and service! Kudos to you all!

Gina F.

I recently stayed here due to an unexpected trip because of a family emergency The staff here at the hotel could not be any more welcoming, hospitable, and kind during my visit Front desk staff (standout Franklin), Samuel, housekeeper Maria, and Director of Sales, Jim Donovan! Not to forget the staff at The Coffee Bean and Bartender in the restaurant

The hotel is in a great location with easy access to restaurants, mall, grocery stores, gas stations It has it all! If you chose this hotel you will not be disappointed

Amanda Lyn

Rude staff, dirty rooms, rotting bathroom wall Peeling paint, rust on the make up mirror, as well as the walls somehow, and rusty shower head The sink was the slowest drain I have ever seen

Room so dusty my husband had an asthma attack We checked out within 8 hours The manager was no where to be found to speak to even when we called back later in the day Would have loved a refund for that first night that we only stayed 8 hours for but I’m just glad we got out and didn’t get charged for the other nights we were supposed to stay Oh and if you enjoy privacy when you use a bathroom definitely don’t stay here because the bathroom doors are sliding barn doors with huge gaps! Absolutely awful hotel I went by the good reviews and was so disappointedEDIT: director of rooms Sal Perez reached out to me and offered a partial refund and seemed responsive to training the staff Thanks sal for working to make this right!

The Hotel was absolutely adorable My room was beautiful and spotless The parking was convenient

Maddie at the front desk was beyond helpful and pleasant Each deck attendant was helpful with my questions and needs I had room service each day and the food from the Tavern was amazing I cannot recommend this more highly and will definitely stay there again A true gem

Elizabeth Hadden

Modern rooms and comfortable beds! The room was very clean and had a really great shower I can tell housekeeping really keeps the place clean The bed was comfortable and the sheets were soft

Self parking was $15 per night and the garage was very convenient Only drawback was the checkout process, I got 4 emails from 9-10am about checking out of my room Checkout is at 11am so I understand the need to check out in a timely manner but the incessant emails about checking out before 11 were a little pushy The employees were really friendly though!

We visited from San Diego this past weekend and was our first time in Orlando We don’t know the area so I am not sure if it’s situated in a good location, but it worked just fine for us since we had to travel to Sanford on Saturday and then the Kennedy Space Center on Sunday, so I guess it was as good as it gotWe arrived at 11pm and were really thirsty, the hotel has complementary water in the room (2 regular size bottles) and extra bottles for $2

00, we needed a little more than just a few bottles Conveniently there are two 7 elevens within 8 minute walk in both directions on Orange (we didn’t have a car) where we got water and snacksLiked:-Staff is very polite-The room is very spacious and very clean, nicely modernized and overall very enjoyable-Same with the bathroom, very nice, clean, and it seems like it just got renovated not long ago-Their coffee espresso machine in the room was a life saver-Nice closet where you find an iron, board, and even an umbrella!- Big mirrorsRoom for improvement:-They use a tablet in-room where you can order complimentary items such as more coffee, towels, etc (But no water) I used it twice, the second time they did not bring the items we requested until we asked the front desk-The bed is comfortable but the pillows were disappointing, enough to make it to this list-One night it got really noisy, the bar was very close to our room and we could hear the laughter and everything going on-I could hear guest in other rooms having conversations at midnight :(There is a parking structure right next to the Hotel and Tavern, but I am not sure how that works We had dinner at the tavern one night and the waiter asked if we needed our parking ticket validated, so I assume it’s free parking for hotel guests and tavern goersOverall we were satisfied, but not enough to recommend it to a friend 🤷🏻‍♂️

This Inn was very cozy and clean The entrance is kind of tucked away if you’re coming from Lake Eola next door We were greeted with smiles and the lobby smelled so clean

Coffee and infused water available right there Our room was a single queen with a balcony Room was a little small, but none the less comfortable Bed is nice and soft Bathroom was clean and the walk in shower was spacious Balcony is shared, separated by white curtains The view outside wasn’t amazing, but for just sitting outside enjoying the weather it’s nice My only complaint was that our TV wasn’t workingThere is an open balcony in the main hallway in the 2nd floor with comfy chairs Nice area to just catch some sun and relax At night they have soft lights around the areaOverall it’s a nice stay and would recommend itAlso sits above a bar!

We really appreciated Beverly, the inn keeper She was attentive to detail, makes an awesome breakfast and is a very interesting person to get to know Our room was spotless and we had everything we needed for an enjoyable weekend

The front porch overlooks the lake and we enjoyed our morning coffee here while we waited for breakfast The house has beautiful wood everywhere and feels very inviting Our daughter lives in Winter Park and we were only 16 minutes away from a lot of hustle and bustle but due to the surrounding acreage and it’s wildlife designation we felt like we were in the forest We highly recommend staying here and plan to go back Thank you Beverly

We loved Thurston House! Beautiful, well kept historic home that was very comfortable Beverly is a wonderful accommodating host and the breakfast was fantastic The house is very charming, clean and comfortable

Close to lots of good food and convenient for area attractions as well We’ll be returning A very special place that is a wonderful option compared to chain hotels in the area

We loved our staying in this beautiful and historic property, every corner has attention to details We need more days here to enjoy every room of the house The little delicious cookies at reception to classical music for breakfast is such nice touch

The hotel itself is very nice, and the location is great The issue is that despite the price advertised for the room, and the front desk’s assurance that the price charged is in fact the final price, they’ll charge your card 3 days after you leave for additional “services” that you the customer cannot opt out of For example, when you arrive at the hotel, they prevent you from parking your own vehicle and require that you enroll in their mandatory valet service

That “service” charges your card $55 for each time they take your vehicle and park it in an unknown location and thereafter bring it back to the front The front desk represented to us that the advertised price online that was paid in full prior to our stay was the final price The valet themselves confirmed that Nevertheless, 72 hours after we checked out, they start making additional credit card charges It’s dishonest and scummy and any potential customers should be aware of the additional fees that this hotel is more than happy to hide and then charge for Won’t be staying there again

Darren Kirby

Four star hotel, but limited parking New hotel in downtown Orlando The hotel itself is nice and brand new

Would be hard pressed to find anything better in its price range However, it doesn’t really have its own parking They are cramming cars into some free space behind the hotel, and using a valet service to do that (at $26 or $28? a night) No self parking available at the hotel The valet has room to accommodate maybe 40 cars for a 200 room hotel? The rest are parked in nearby garages and spaces, adding to the time it may take to retrieve your car when they are busy This is reflective of the increasing issue with parking availability/pricing in downtown Orlando Not sure if this hotel will continue to be a selection for me

Helene Caseltine

The hotel is in a convenient downtown location The room was fine, very clean & quiet The bartender was very friendly

However, the food for dinner was awful! Who knew you can ruin a grilled cheese sandwich?? It was not the “4-Cheese Grilled Cheese on Sourdough”, but more a slice of American cheese slapped on a piece of white bread – for $12! (fries were good, tho)Plus, I thought I read that the hotel offered a complimentary “Continental Breakfast” – it was not You order off a menu with nothing complimentary for breakfast oh well, it was only one night!

This is a pretty fancy hotel Probably one of the fanciest downtown Orlando has to offerThe restaurant is fantastic

The Sunday brunch is even more fantastic The bar has some great craft cocktailsThe check-in procedure is smooth and the staff behind the desk is on the top of their gameParking is a bit of a challenge and even though they offer valet from some very efficient subcontractors, it would have been nice if the designers of the hotel made just a little bit more room to maneuver into the drop off area 🤦🏻‍♂️ at times the line can extend out into the street creating an uncomfortable wait time and a traffic jamOh, and it’s not inexpensive either 😉

My dauthers and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here It was by far, one of our best hotel experiences in Orlando From check-in, to surprising my girls with the delicious breakfast in the morning

Our room was so nice, and the beds delightfully comfortable Located so close to downtown, it gave us a taste of downtown living 10/10 would recommend, and we will definitely come back again

Desiree Neal

Old property with renovations and soft touches of contemporary decor It’s downtown inner city so with that being said comes homelessness and stranglers… doesn’t bother me but might bother you Location is immediately off I-4 for a bit of convenience

Valet or self parking($18) and has a shuttle service that takes you 3mi of the property Staff interaction was pleasant and informative My stay came with breakfast I was supposed to have a dbl Queen however the 3rd party sent it to the hotel as king room The front desk employee was able to make a reasonable adjustment and get me a room with a pull out sofa, Thanks front desk! The room was fresh but did have smudges on the wall, sofa cushions were worn and slouchy, the packaged cups placed with the ice bin had holes in the plastic and were torn 🤔 which made me question safety/cleanliness/sanitary but I’m just go pray about it and drink the alcohol hoping that kills whatever may have got in the cup

Cinda Clark

Room was nice but

negatives were coffee machine was broken, shower water temp was either scalding hot or cold no in-between, the lighting was terrible no light near door where only full length mirror is One of the lamps had an light bulb out that I pulled out so room service would know The mini fridge worked but the exterior so hot that i left cabinet door it was housed in open to try to cool it off Kept the drinks cold though The restaurant is NOT open for lunch even though advertised it is Positives was beds comfortable, rooms was clean and was cold

Wonderful staff, excellent front desk and overnight attendant Still courteous late at nightFacilities are clean in the public areas like the gym, washroom

The room was damp, the bathroom barn door would not close, ghosting back to open at inopportune times A/C automatically turns off if left unattended Great for efficiency but coming back to an 80° plus room took time to cool and dehumidifyThe four stars are for the lovely staff everywhere in the hotelThank you

Love the “comfort” factor in this place!! My favorite hotel was booked and I needed a reservation for work Homewood Suites popped into my search for the area and they had vacancy within the time parameters I needed I was kinda forced into booking here

BUT I’M NOT DISAPPOINTED! that’s the pleasant surprise that, so far, has turned into a pleasant experience ❤️ By the way, this place offers a cool soup, salad, and beer/wine social event every night around 5pm!!!👊😎👌

This time around I was here for 5 weeks Furniture is getting worn down Bed is the old coil style

Weekday housekeeping crew did ok The weekend crew did great! They would wash my dishes (1 -2 items) Also scolded lap blanket and put awayThe breakfast crew is not professional Standing out in the breakfast area talking on cell phones oblivious to guests around Guest had to walk around her (This happened several days) Food not being ready on time, and supplies not stockedThe only other issue – ants in bathroom and bathroom sink area They treated 4 times first 2 weeks with no improvement Friends staying in other rooms with the same issueWould I stay here again yes, close to work and only place in area with kitchens

We stayed there for a week with about 30 members in our group and breakfast was essentially non existent during the entire stay even though the person behind the desk would say it would be availableThere were no luggage carts to bring luggage and supplies in from the charter bus There was no courtesy water available from the dispenser AR the desk on the last day

My room did have trash left in it on the floor from previous occupancy We husband and I stay at Marriotts and Hiltons but this Marriott is not a consideration at this moment for future stays

Disgusted the whole time,There was hair and makeup on my sheets, the front desk brought me new sheets but was disgusted the rest of the trip There were also these tiny bugs everywhere, night stand, bathroom, desk, and couchAlso the breakfast & coffee were terrible, they had sausage biscuits one morning in the hotplate

They were literally coldIt will not let me upload the video of the big but I took a picture of the video

If I were the owner of the Hilton brand, I would yank my name off this building I stayed 2 nights at 269/per night When I arrived, the valet situation was a cluster

It appeared to be a one-way drive PACKED with parked cars, I didn’t know what to do I had a lot of bags to unload and there was no luggage cart The valet explained that they were all taken and suggested that I stop the elevator on every floor to look for a cart that someone had ditched I made two trips to fourteenth floor to get everything inChecking in, I was the only guest at the front desk, and the tall man would not even acknowledge me He seemed super stressed out The lady offered to help me instead Turns out the tall guy is the manager Now this is all making senseOnce I got in the room, I realized the toilet was clogged, and the bed-side light was flickering like an insane asylum I called the front desk to ask for a room with a working toilet and lights, but they did nothing about it The young man who works late acted like he was so aggravated that I called the front desk to ask for a wake up call He was also rude when I asked if it was too late to get food from restaurantI called down to the valet at 615am to pull up my car and when I got down there, they had ignored my request, which me late for a work event I was away for 17 hours, and since I didn’t have time to hassle with room request, I decided to ignore the issues My room was untouched, nobody serviced it, cleaned it, no coffee Which forced me to buy a $5 black coffee downstairs at Starbucks because there was no other optionThe manager at the front desk should have been my first indication that this place is a circus Between the sloppy valet, unkempt rooms, and RUDE men working the front desk, This place needs new management

The room weren’t great The air conditioner ran constantly you couldn’t adjust the temperature so we had to turn it off so we didn’t freeze to death The room had a musty smell to it

There is a place to eat in the lobby but I wouldn’t call it a restaurant it was overpriced The location was convenient they don’t tell you on the booking sites you have to pay additional for parking

Sophia Vedell

This was one of the worse hotels I’ve ever stayed in in my whole entire life Parking was horrible one way in pretty much one way out Got in my room filthy had a washcloth that someone had used had lipstick or blood I don’t know which one went and talked to the housekeeper she said she didn’t speak English so she really couldn’t help me

Really foul smell carpet was dirty really need to be renovated Horrible experience never again!! Valet worker smell completely like he just came out of the room and was smoking weed !!

Hotel is very nice, the staff, valet, all the way down to security are unmatched!! The room had a contemporary feel and very comfortable The view from the room was amazing as well Absolutely loved the sky bar!! Food and drinks were amazing!!

it was just overall a very pleasant stay! I didn’t want to leave!! Although valet parking was a lot, it was great to just be able to walk downstairs and my car already waiting on me Really loved this place!!

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the restaurant/bar located at the AC hotel’s rooftop The cocktails were tasty (great presentation), food was delicious & the property was elegant/stylish The cocktail lounge had a relaxed yet chic ambiance – upscale yet comfortable

We sat indoors during this visit and had a great time, the service/staff was pleasant and accommodating Outdoor bar, seating & lounge areas also available with an absolutely breathtaking view I 100% recommend & will definitely be back

Nathan Cohen

The accommodations are extremely nice Rooms are quite nice However, the service does not match the property

The best thing this property has going for itself is the AC SkyBar (food and drinks were very good) Brian was a great bartender I unfortunately experienced situations with the charges to my credit card for incidentals, no availability for room service and as a ambassador elite , on my last night of stay, the air went out and the thermostat along with some of the lighting in my suite on the top floor did not work I was told that there was no engineering staff available to assist and I will get a call the following morning at 10 AM No call was ever received To my understanding, this property is just over a year old I would think that the services here would be better as one of the Premier downtown properties and not to mention it’s Marriott My hopes are about the services here will improve as this property has the potential to be an amazing experience

Other than some mold/mildew in the bathroom, the room was wonderful I sleep in the day and it was quiet and the curtains kept the room dark The breakfasts were outstanding, especially the made to order omelets

I loved the restaurant in the lobby I ate there all 4 days and all the meals were tasty I would definitely go again and recommend the place to friends and family

Lori Leigh O’Gara

Customer service was great, for the most part, the hotel was not It was the loudest hotel I have ever stayed in You could hear every little thing through the walls and doors

Children were running all over the place with no one saying a word to them The bed was very uncomfortable The pillows were flat The complementary toiletries were cheap The “balcony” that I was looking forward to sitting on to drink coffee and look at the lake in the morning was a 12 in ledge with a railing and a slide open window The breakfast was mediocre, the cooks doing the made to order omelets were rude The staff cleaning up the dinning area were very polite The cleaning staff were attentive The front desk staff were great The parking was ok, but several large trucks and one SUV took two and three parking spots so it was difficult to find a place to park I tend to stick with Hilton hotels because they are normally a cut above and I am rarely disappointed This time, I was wondering if I had actually booked a Hilton property or a look a like Come on, Hilton, you can do better than this

Monica Lopez

We always stay at the embassy suites and this one was probably the worst one we’ve stay at Employees were great and nice but the hotel was very out dated, our room was not clean The A/C did not work, it said it was on 65 but felt like 75

It was very humid in our room When it rained the carpet in the room by the window got soaking wet My son slept on the pull out bed and the bed was VERY uncomfortable, no padding what so ever He said he just felt the springs in the bed The staffed fixed the bed by bringing a pillow topper but that should not be necessary The buffet breakfast was good but I wish the happy hour was at least til 8 We always missed the happy hour because we were at the baseball fields for my son’s tournament At the end of our week long stay there was a huge group of people that came to stay and they took up every single seat in the lobby during breakfast time Nobody else had a place to sit during breakfast, they were not even eating so I found that annoying that we had to sit without a table to eat our breakfast Overall very disappointed in this embassy stay

The property was clean and well kept After a long day of delayed flights, check in was a breeze The front desk reception was very pleasant and well informed

The room was immaculate and spacious The king size bed was very comfortable and I slept like a baby The bathrooms were clean and well stocked with supplies Coffee pods were available every morning by house keeping staff Housing keeping cleaned the room every morning restocked the coffee pods and sugar The breakfast offered every morning was delicious, ranging from fruits to hot sandwiches Very professional management and staff I would recommend Spring Hill Suites at Winter Park to anyone traveling thru the area Easy 5 stars Will definitely be staying there I My future travels

Jenny Adams

The hotel is very, very nice It’s clean, modern, and feels brand new My only complaint is that the food is all Jinny Dean packaged meals, still in its plastic

At Hampton Inn you get scrambled eggs and bacon and potatoes every time Marriott’s breakfast is more like snack food than a meal For the price of this hotel I was expecting much, much more from breakfast

Wendy G

The property is very clean and well-maintained The breakfast is very good quality ( all types of juice, milks and Jimmy Dean breakfast foods to ” grab and go ” and desserts as well Not a ton of fruit, but good selection overall )

The front desk was fun and good to chat wbut didn’t get a good room from him sadly Biggest gripe is the rooms honestlysuck beds are smaller than other properties No views here either ( unless you like parking lots and Expressways ) The comfort factor is a big fail here

The room smells a little musty and it is clear that the interior is very old For this area being such a tourist hub, it shoukd be more modern and better keptIt is clean and the staff is friendly but not overly helpful

I am staying for work so really just need a place to sleep The bed is firm and the pillows are garbage I’m glad I brought my own
