Backing to the Willamette river, you can enjoy river view and short walk Standard furniture but not wardrobe & safe Upgrade cold & hot individual water knob will be better instead of 2 in 1 knob

Ya other hotel also using that type of knob Heater is Abit noisy Rather than that, all staffs are very friendly & helpful Break fast normally has 4 cook foods, such as sausage, cheese or veg omelette, biscuits + mushroom sauce, bacon & so on Cinnamon roll is my favorite

I love this hotel! My husband and I stayed here over 8 years ago, and I remembered that I liked it, so I booked it for this weekend trip The king-sized bed room with a sofa bed was the perfect size for my husband, daughter, and I to stay for the night as we made our return trip home It is immaculate from the entryway, hallways, and the guest room

Breakfast is served to guests due to Covid protocols, but it was hot with lots of options, and the server was very friendly I will absolutely return here on any future trips that involve a stay near Salem, and I wholeheartedly recommend it

D D

Everything was good until the last day The toilet clogged up I had it flowing everywhere I finally got it unclogged the maid’s banged on the door 3 times during my stay, while the do not disturb sign was up, it wasn’t even 11 o’clock yet and she’s banging on my door when the do not disturb sign on the last day

I stayed there for 4 days and spent $600 I should have gotten more choice rewards points!” next time I’ll stay at quality inn where they reward my stay and it’s substantially less in priceyou get more points they don’t Bang on your door with the dod sign up Very loud partying in the room next door I would like a refund for the last day when the door was pounded onthe toilet overflowedand the neighbors were partying all night But I know that won’t happen!

Slab Express

I have stayed here many time and out our employees here too Trent is always great during check in has cookies ready, friendly, and reads our portfolio read with my service dog when I come in Also the breakfast is great quality and they have a milk chiller

I would recommend this property when you are in town or driving thru Stay away from Salem

Very good stay Easy on/off I-5 Friendly staff, clean big rooms, comfortable bed

I am in a different hotel almost every night The Rodeway brand can be hit or miss This one is a hit There are freshly planted gardens and lots of roses, that’s all you really need to know The innkeepers here really care about their property and it shows I will be back

Al Hilenski

The first time I stayed was great This time was pathetic and I won’t be back The room I initially got had noisy people upstairs

I was given an upstairs room because there were no more downstairs rooms available Apparently you have to crawl on the floor to adjust the ac People pulling into the parking lot, thumping their stereos and the airport is just as bad as people jumping around upstairs and talking really loud I spend 6 days a week on the road I just wanted to relax It doesn’t happen here

Dhar Dhar

Restroom was very smallOr should I say shower was very smallHad to figure out how to take a showerI wish it is my wish that someone will listen to my wishPlease please and please change your mattressI guarantee your establishment that if you have good mattresses your customers will be very happyPlease change themThere is no coffee maker in the roomsThough they have refrigerators and microwave in the roomNo breakfast just coffee in the morningNo pool or hot tubThough the property was clean overallAnd the best of all there price was half the price of Best Western next doorSo for the price I will stay here again but if I have to pay a little more and get the breakfast and some coffee in the morning I would love that

The Highland Dell house was amazing! It was the perfect home base for my commencement at OSU As a returning adult student, my family is at both ends of the age spectrum and the house suited our various needs well! Alexandra went above and beyond to make celebrating my commencement a special occasion for the whole family The house was the best part of our stay

I am forever grateful to Alexandra for her kindness, consideration, creativity, and attention to detail

Sarah Kelley

My husband and I have had nothing but positive experiences working with Alexandra and her business She puts her heart and soul into managing these properties to ensure the perfect stay for her guests There isn’t anything that she doesn’t consider

She runs a tight ship, we appreciate her business and highly recommend Fernwood Circle Guest Houses

evelyn halverson

My husband and I have had the opportunity to stay with Fernwood Circle Guesthouses for the past two years After many years of him working in Corvallis for the Christmas tree harvest we were tired of the pricey hotels, or very subpar hotels to save some money This year we stayed at Redtop place and it far surpassed our expectations

It was so nice to have a place to cook and relax with our toddler while he was working We enjoyed walks, puzzles, cooking in the well stocked kitchen, and even a few sunny days out on the patio I was homesick after a month of being away, but I did wish that I could bring the bed home, it was so comfortable! The house was very well stocked, and if we needed anything or suggestions for dinner or anything else, Alexandra was always on the spot to help outLast year, we stayed at Creekside cottage for a few days and loved the little guesthouse, the creek outside, and the little patio therethe owner even brought out delicious cookies one day! The location would be perfect for parents visiting college childrenAlexandra does an excellent job creating a home away from home, and the best part is, there is a housecleaner which enabled me to spend some quality time with my daughter There are several parks around, the beach is about an hour away, and my daughters favorite was the bouncy house downtownWe definitely plan to use Fernwood Circle Guesthouses again next year!!!

Location wide – 5⭐️Bedroom – 4⭐️Bathroom – 2 ⭐️Breakfast- 3⭐️To be fair, I only stayed 1 night there & was given disable friendly roomThere are plenty of marks & eatery house around hotel in walking distanceBed room is small, but I like the warm feeling and wardrobe thought there are not much furniture

Bathroom is huge to accommodate disabilities However, it useless to me & irritated me with very soft shower water flow And too cold in bathroomBreakfast is similar to other hotel But 2 types of cooked food only at 7am 2 Pancake makers saved my breakfastI think due to single night stay, they gave me disable friendly room which may be lesser utilized But it made my single night stay unpleasant

Benny Lanteigne

Horrible experience Felt more like a run down Motel6 to me Found toenails in the carpet, dirt and hair around the edges of the bathroom, a busted closet door, Breakfast buffet was serving ice cold sausage and bacon

I pointed it out to the front desk and they left it on the line for ppl to continue eating Nobody turned on the steamer to keep them up to temp Worst part of the stay they put a $250 hold on my credit card without telling me (in case I smoked in the room-I don’t smoke) and held it for days I called the front desk and someone named Crystal was extremely rude to me and instead of being helpful and caring about my situation Stated I’m not gonna argue about it We do it to protect our interest and if you don’t like it that’s your problem, not ours NEVER AGAIN!!!! Worst Motel experience ever and extremely rude staff I even reached out to Corporate and got no response Worthless customer service and disgusting room

This place does a lot of little things extra which made the stay even better Best AC in any hotel I’ve been to (worked, not loud, didn’t turn off in the middle of the night) Best hotel shower in a long time

Rooms are big & quiet Beds are comfortable Pond with fish was smallish but very pretty & nice to leisurely walk Staff are above ave with customer service Breakfast was super safe b/c they serve Breakfast is in pretty, spacious room with a view Drive there was super easy Neighborhood felt very safe Lots of parking Gift shop could be improved significantly Price was good for what you get Definitely would stay here again!

We stayed here overnight I ordered a steak and prawns via room service The steak was prepared well and quickly delivered

Unfortunately, the food was delivered in plastic containers without proper silverware They supplied a miniature very cheap cheesy plastic fork and knife to cut and eat the steak Think the lowest quality that can be found I went to my car to get a pocket knife and a more substantial plastic fork I felt this was very wrong and quite unacceptable The room was clean but the coffee maker had mold in the water reservoir but this was happily corrected by the staff Breakfast in the morning was included The price of the room seemed a bit high for a Best Western yet the experience for an overnight stay was not appreciably better than a regular Best Western Perhaps if stayed longer we might have appreciated the laundry or other facilities We have another trip in a few weeks and we will look for a more economical Best Western along Highway 5

To say this place was dated is an understatement The room looked nothing like the picturesThe nightstands were permanently stained and had dried fluids on them

The door was stained and vandalized with graffiti which was I pointed out so I wouldn’t be charged for damageThe lamp shades had holes in them and the paint on the lamp was oxidized/rusted I did not want to get charged for the damage on the lampshades so I pointed that out also and the motel employee was kind enough to swap it outFor some strange reason, the bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke when I turned on the fanThe blankets had several cigarette burn in them and there were ashes on the bed which I also pointed out and the motel personnel agreed that that room was not cleaned and swapped out our blanketsI requested an ironing board and was told by the evening front desk person that they didn’t have anyThe following morning, I saw a motel employee carrying an ironing board to another roomThe motel manager was kind enough to explain that the evening front desk personnel wasn’t aware and was new/didn’t know and brought an ironing board up to our room herselfWhat bothered me was the motel owner, his name was Tony wouldn’t return our Email or phone call Also the employees would not tell me his last name as if they did not know or was unsure or if they were trying to protect himI realized right away this was a no-frills facility but I paid $450+ for a 2-night stay and expected a higher standard and cleanlinessIt was also a graduation weekend and there were no other vacanciesNeedless to say, I will never stay at this Super 8 againHard to believe this part of the Wyndham hotel chain

B and W Builders

This is a great no-frills hotel Sometimes I have out-of-town workers and I send them here Melanie makes sure they are well taken care of

I wasn’t sure at first, based on the price, but am pleasantly surprised The most important thing for me is comfy beds- my crew works hard and they need a good night’s sleep! It’s a great place, and an easy on/off from the freeway

Greg Ofallon

I had reserved a non smoking room, the first room I was placed in reeked like someone had just finished smoking in it, the second room wasn’t any better, When I said something the front desk smirked and didn’t even offer another room The room was filthy! Pee on the toilet seat, like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time Bed spreads were questionable on cleanliness

The manager was extremely rude and smirking at it when we tried to leave a day early for a family emergency She didn’t care for any of the feedback we had, she refused to refund or move the last date out since we were going to come back in a week I ended up contacting Wyndham the parent company and she called back later about giving us a refund I do not recommend this place

I really wanted to give a good review for our stay because when we arrived, the front desk employee was so generous and kind The room was nice except for one huge problem, we didn’t have hot water in our shower for our entire 3 day stay We told them right away about the problem and talked to 3 different people over the next few days but they were never able to fix it or offer any solution

There was no offer to switch rooms or even provide us a room to shower in because the hotel was fully booked for graduation weekend They also didn’t offer to compensate us in any way for this huge inconvenience (not to mention this is also a health code violation) We literally had to clean ourselves with a pitcher that we filled with warm water from the sink This is totally unacceptable and I am extremely disappointed in the lack of accountability at this hotel I will not be staying here again and I urge anyone that expects hot water in their hotel room to stay somewhere else

I am a Best Western rewards member, I have stayed in many best westerns throughout the country and have never had such poor treatment I made an advance reservation directly with best western by phone for a room with 2 queen beds When we arrived we were given 1 queen bed and pull out couch

They said they had no more rooms, but to check back the next day at 12 and they would fix things The next day they said they had nothing We ended up driving to another town, which was not convenient, since we were attending a wedding We were never contacted by management or compensated for their mistakesBest Western reservations even played back the tape and said it was clear I stated I wanted 2 queen beds I suggest choosing a different accommodation when visiting Corvallis

Sarah is a new employee and working the front desk She was very upbeat and very accommodating The manager came out and she was on her game as well

I’m so glad that they lifted the mask mandate as they were struggling with those stupid things on under the idiot Democrat Governor they have in Oregon and the more dingy President we have in DC They seemed happy to have regulations lifted which is all about all of our freedom The hotel room was clean and accommodating and the breakfast is over the top Great meal choices

Jennifer Benner

Worst hotel experience ever Starts with a terrible location surrounded by traffic on all sides and some kind of Styrofoam all over the rooms floor Got a room with a jacuzzi so we could soak and relax, literally 2 towels in the whole room

No extras in the shower area, no place to hang wet ones Got the tub half full, no more hot water No hot water for the duration of the stay, couldn’t even take a shower in the AM which we were desperately relying on as we are waiting for our home shower to be fixedTV kept turning it’s self off and on till we finally just went to bedToilet clogged & had to be repeatedly flushed after each use So much for that water conservation they are pushing by not doing daily laundryThen there was some kind of emergency and a front desk employee literally opened our door and walked into our room while we were in bed at 730 AM to tell us we had to exit the building Luckily we were awake and dressed and had been out, hence the door not being latched There was no reason to enter the room, a knock and info or call would have been sufficientAt the end an insignificant 25% discount, which in no way made up for the aweful night, no apology for the inconvenience just a rude front desk worker who said we should be glad no one was hurt🤷‍♀️Would not recommend, will never go back

Doug Quist

Service was excellent with very helpful front desk, housekeeping and breakfast roomDownside was no daily cleaning, which was OK for us since we had a bit of a cold, so less stress about being disturbedWorst things were the smell in our room (128) and even more annoying was very poor (NO COVERAGE) in the bedroom, other than some limited connections from McDonald’s
