The hotel was great! The staff was friendly and the room was clean We checked in and had an issue at check-in It was not the hotel’s fault, it was the 3rd party service we used that messed up

The hotel staff was friendly and fixed the issue quickly One we checked in we went up romour 3rd floor room The rooms are small but perfect for what we needed It is confusing getting to the hotel They need better signage! We never looked at the pool The breakfast was delicious and fresh I would stay here again

Laci Collum

The check in was great, very nice ladiesThe room we stayed in had a clogged toilet

They were ever so kind to leave a plunger with us that we’ve had to use with every bathroom use Pool was nasty pills in the floor that I had to get away from my 1 yr old Had to turn the AC off everyone has been coughing and having a runny nose since the first night I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone!!

Well I would say that the room I stayed in was not the best for such a higher price I get a company discount but this place refused to give it to me for no good reason I stayed in the suite a while back now that was a nice clean worth the pay for your stay room

The room I stayed in this time was just as dusty as can be alot of wear and tear must be because of some rough customers

This is our family go to spot The rooms are clean and comfortable We always stay on the lake side it’s perfect

The staff are really friendly and helpful Our kids love the lake and this hotel keeps you right where you want to be We bring the boat and dock it at the hotel so there’s no loading and unloading every time we want to go out in the boat Highly recommend!!

Stayed here for one night The only draw back is loud vehicles are definitely heard on the street side hotel room at any time of the night The rooms are dated but clean and comfortable

The water pressure in the shower was “fantastic” as my husband describes it The breakfast buffet was very delicious with staff asking if we needed anything while we ate

Shelly Saxon

Can’t sleep! All night long Semi trucks cross through the intersection Our room was 3 from the end About 15 feet to the intersection

The trucks downshifting to stop at the light was so loud! The rooms need a serious makeover as well We were booked for 5 nights but we switched hotels after the 1st night of no sleep We were here to work not a pleasure trip So adequate sleep is a must!

I had an excellent experience here The room was nice and comfortable with a spectacular view of the water The maid service was excellent and the restaurant, bar, and game room were great too

There were many activities available around the city of Guntersville so I never had a boring day or night My mother got married there this past weekend and all of us had a spectacular stay

I stayed here for a Christmas party and training seminar Wild deer roamed the grounds The lake was nice

Great sunset views from the deck at the lodge overlooking Guntersville lake The room was nice with good internet service and TV The decoration and architecture of the lodge is fabulous Hanging out in the bar socializing was fun The food in the restaurant was good Exploring Guntersville Alabama led to some good country cooking and a cool pawn shop

Comfortable & clean We stayed for a volleyball tournament in Guntersville This is a great alternative to one of the few hotels in town, which had no rooms available

Just a few miles and about 15 to 20 minutes from town Bed & pillows were especially comfortable Beautiful sunset views overlooking Lake Guntersville Ww didn’t eat at the lodge, but based on our accommodations, I’d highly recommend a stay here

The first thing is I have been trying and trying to get a hold of this resort for weeks I’ve had my boyfriend calling and his mom along with me I could never get anybody to answer the phone

One day I decide to call again and they finally answer (after the second phone call) I asked if they had any lots open, she replies “No I’m sorry, thank you goodbye” I tried to ask another question before she said goodbye but then she proceeds to just hang up the phone I tried to call back immediately after she hung up, multiple times with no answer Their service is terrible I would never recommend anybody to stay there nor will I, due to the lack of respect and due diligence

Amazing, wish I could give 100 stars! There is so much I’m not sure where to start Unlike most places, you are family here You are

Everyone helps out each other like Mayberry days, lol Dave & Miss Johnnie are two peas in a pot You won’t find a better place! The park is beautiful, it feels like a fairytale land They work non-stop on the landscape & man can you tell it The best thing is the space between each lot Again, unlike most places, you’re stacked in but here you are very spaced out in comparison Some parts are different and the lots are insanely spacious! You just have to see it to know what I’m talking about You & your family have access to a saltwater swimming pool, there are horseshoes stakes, a rec room/game room for birthday parties, gatherings, football, etc You can’t ask for more They also have golf cart trails through the woods for you & your pet to enjoy nature The lovely trees, flowers, rocks, scenery all together are seriously like living in a wonderland every day Their staff is super great & friendly too The bathhouse is TOPPING CHARTS! It stays clean and it’s huge You feel like you’re in a nice home Tile floor, clean toilets, shower, walls, and the same way with the laundry rooms They have several bathrooms and two laundry rooms They put so much hard work & love into their RV resort & it shows We are so happy!

The room smelled of cigarette smoke even though it was non-smoking There were stains on the furniture, walls, and the sofa mattress The sofa was decades old

The shower/tub had yellow stains, had been glued together where pieces were broken off, and the tub was indented in the center where it was broken from years of standing Everything was dirty and outdated The smell caused my son and I to have a headache within 15 minutes of being there, and we opted to not stay there The staff said they would have management call us on Monday to discuss issues We never received a call TERRIBLE! We chose to drive an hour to Huntsville and stay at a much nicer, non-smoking, clean and updated hotel for less money and a beautiful atmosphere We would rather commute back and forth to my son’s baseball tournament than stay at the Hamptom in Guntersville The hotel in Huntsville was wonderful and totally worth the gas and drive We honestly will likely never choose a Hampton again after this experience I can say that the front desk ladies were very nice and apologetic, although no call from management ever came We were NOT refunded any amount

I checked in at approx 12pm and went to the room It was hot but not uncommon so I turned the AC down and left I didn’t come back until approx 10pm

I noticed the room was still hot I ate and took a shower but it was to hot to sleep At approx 11pm I go to the front desk and ask if we could get another room and was told none were available I asked for a refund since the room was close to 80 degrees and was told that the only way we could get a refund was to leave I told her that it was 11pm on the Saturday before the 4th of July and that there was no where to go and that I was over 3 hours from home She said only the manager could approve it I ask her to call the manager and she tells me they have been ignoring her all day She send a long haired woman to the room saying that she was maintenance She go to the room, agrees its hot, tells us that she didn’t know why we were told there was no other rooms that there was empty rooms She gets it fixed but it went out again during the night As I’m checking out I speak to the manager on duty and was told that I booked the room as a no refund, no cancelation I explained that meant I couldn’t cancel my stay and get money back and that that policy was not meant to be used in cases where there are issues with the room She agreed that the AC did need recharging and told me that multiple units needed recharging includung the one in the office She then called the owner and was told they would call me back and Two days later I still have not received a call back

Booking a 2 star rated hotel that is “pet friendly” is always a gamble for me, but this one was fantastic! Very friendly staff and very clean room

That’s all I ever want The day I stayed, they were short staffed (as everyone is these days), plus they were training new housekeepers; despite this, the staff was fast as they possibly could be and very attentive to our needs! Would stay again for sure!

Very dirty and bugs were crawling everywhere Employees and a male that I’m pretty sure is the owner started coming to the door over an hour before check out time asking what time we’d be leaving saying what sounded like “checkout 11” door was latched and without knocking housekeeping opened the door as far as it would open stuck her head thru the small opening saying once again checkout 11 asking if we were ready to leave The vending machine didn’t drop the Skittles I paid too much for, went to the office and couldn’t get any help, come to find out they’re rigged to where you have to buy 2 packs of candy in order to get it to drop your first pack

Happened with Skittles and m&m’s both owner was beyond rude and it was very frustrating trying to get out of there on time with them constantly bugging us at the door Overall I would have to say it was a disgusting and frustrating visit Thank goodness I didn’t forget my Lysol cause I sprayed it let me tell you using it for a disinfectant and bug spray 👳☜👹🐜

Well I only got to see the units they rent out for weeks or months at a time not the overnight rooms But the unit I did see was very nice and big with a combined full size kitchen and living room, a bathroom and 2 seperate bedrooms The outside yard and parking was well maintained and clean and for a motel with overnight guests in and out it was very quiet

I was someones guest so I dont know anything about the prices for staying overnight or the price on the rental units for staying longer abd I dont know anything about the food served there, and there is a convenience store close by

My husband and I have had our eyes on this campground to stay next summer, luckily a our family friends is staying there this month We had a great opportunity to visit the campground yesterday, get a feel of it and spend time with our family friends Campground cleanliness AMAZING and the view is fantastic! Unfortunately the staff or owners was so disrespectful and rude right at the moment we arrived

We was chewed out and accused of trespassing, assuming we was from another campground and assuming we was “free loaning” there area I was in disbelief After we straighten out the conflict and misunderstanding, we came back from the river and was about to load up our stuff to head out for the night and we was met by a staff member rudely not allowing us to pull back around to the camper to pick up our items we had small children and a ton of stuff to load up If they would have would have approached us with their concerns is a more professional manner, I would completely understand and recommend anyone to stay there Hopefully no one else has to experience this problem

I do not no who everybody on these reviews are that are saying that denise is such a nice person, because that is a very false statement she is the most rudest and hateful person that I have ever met Oh where do I start I guess from the beginning We got to the campground to be informed that she had took it upon herself to give our site to somebody else, which we had booked our site in january, and stated that she thought we would would rather have one with septic which we didn’t we wanted the one on the water I had specifically stated that when I booked the site

She didn’t even call us and mention anything about needing to change our lot Now this makes her in the wrong not us, but she proceeds to be rude hateful and even cursing at a customer She then wanted to put us on a lot next to the road which there was a privacy fence between lot and road but still its next the to the road so I said no so she had another lot which was better so I reluctantly said ok This lady also would tell us 1 thing one day and the next day tell us something else different This could be a very nice campground but it needs better management We will never go back there ever again It’s not worth dealing with rude people on my vacation I deal with them everyday I don’t want to deal with it on my vacation And if anybody wants to say I’m lying I have texts to prove it
