One mark of a great hotel is the experience that you have while staying there The staff at The Henley Park Hotel is exceptional They are personable, helpful, and go out of their way to make guests feel at home

Even after we had finished our stay, and had left something behind, they (Frances) could not have been more helpful and kind in looking for our lost item This is our second stay at this hotel There are many more modern hotels, but the charm of this one, along with the exceptional staff make it a 5 star experience The location is also very good We’ll be back

Absolutely wonderful stay at the Henley Park Hotel My wife and I had a 4 night stay for an Anniversary trip Perfect location for the things we wanted to do

The hotel is a throw back to hospitality and quaintness Small elevators, yes But it accommodates a smaller number of guests, so it is never crowded No fridge in room No worries, they brought ours upon request in less than 5 minutes This was stated in their website by the way No ice machine on our floor Again, no worries They bring that promptly as well It’s actually refreshing not to hear an ice machine “clanking” outside our door They do charge for parking but they are no different than any other hotel in the city I can say that the garage they use is right behind the building and we never had to wait more than 5 minutes to get our car Every single person associated with this hotel greeted us with courtesy every time we came in or out Lastly, we stayed in a Jr Suite, which was absolutely wonderful From the bed and linens being super comfortable To the hot water coming out almost instantaneously To the just right water pressure coming out of the shower head Not a single complaint This will be our hotel the next time we come back to DC

Abrar Thabit

Nice historic hotel The rooms were not too big, but very clean with comfy bed and pillows They offer receiving packages from online purchases for pick up from the reception without a fee

The receptionist Elliott was helpful and friendly Price was reasonable, as well The location is great near the downtown area, the convention centers and many stores No free parking but valet parking is available for $49 per night

Location was perfect for a family vacation to DC Two blocks from the Metro (blue line) and about a mile from the waterfront in Old Town So many great restaurants nearby and fun shopping

They do have a breakfast that we didn’t try ($15/person) but if you are going to DC, eat at the hotel your first day It’s just easier until you get your bearings They don’t clean the rooms every day, which is fine, but you do have to be proactive about asking for towels and to get the trash emptied if you want that Their convenience store was woefully understocked so even though they have guest laundry on the second floor, I couldn’t use it because I couldn’t get soap Kind of a bummer The staff is very friendly and helpful Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are visiting DC Much cheaper than a DC hotel and you get to spend the evenings in Old Town Alexandria every night

Freespiriting xo.

I just wanted to first and foremost give the manager Joe a shout out!! There was an issue with a double charge for the room I booked, and this man went above and beyond to get it fixed and to show how apologetic he was that it happened It’s rare to come across employees/managers like him, and I just wanted him and the company know that he’s great and truly appreciated Because of you Joe whenever I’m in town, I’ll be staying here at this Hilton

Also, the rooms were clean and breakfast was great The location is perfect as well, it’s right across the street the a train station

Shontae Lashley

The accommodations were nice and what you would expect for a Hilton location My issue was with the billing, service and responsiveness of the manager After paying for my entire stay in advance via the Hilton app I was overcharged by the hotel who should have only charged me for parking

I expected a hold would be placed on my card for incidentals for $150, the hold ended up being $670 No one could explain why the hold was including what I had already paid for my 3 night stay along with the incidental deposit The entire hold finally released 5 days later but now I’ve been charged nearly $300 which is no where near what parking actually cost me I was told that this would be handled by the location manager on July 3rd and I would get a call from the manager I have yet to hear from anyone from the location nor have the charges been corrected Needless to say I will never stay at this location again I am also disappointed with Hilton Customer Care for their lack of support in this situation

This will be a mixed review The hotel two queen beds and room was very large and liked having the small kitchen type area With a couch, chair and end tables and coffee table, with the two queens was very nice

The bathroom didn’t have a door separating the preparation room from the rest of the bedroom area, this would have made it easier to get dressed without disturbing others sleeping In the morning, got up to use the work out area and there were only two towels and the workout area needed a thorough wipe down There were sweat marks on the equipment I went and informed front desk twice that towels were needed and the next day they still weren’t there; and the women working out said they had to go to the front desk to get towels and the old towels from yesterday were still there I again informed the front desk of the missing towels I left that day so I don’t know if the area was every wiped down or towels finally delivered As for the breakfast, they definitely watered it down too much Both days the oatmeal was more like soup I tried one day but just couldn’t do it the second day There was just too much water and using plastic spoons, it was hopeless As for the eggs, they were tasteless and again I think they “watered” down these too with something that was just too much I didn’t try the meat, but it looked fine And they had waffles which ran out of strawberry flavored mix and regular constantly The cereals were very boring, no sugar cereals, only the cheapest ones supplied They did have muffins, toast and bagels available and juice and milk Someone spilled their food on the floor and I mentioned to front desk, they picked it up but did not clean the floor The next day a liquid was on the floor and that also was not cleaned up Not pleased with the selection or the hotel in general and have stayed at many Hampton Inns A little more care in cleaning would be better

When I reserved to stay here, I really had low expectations due to the location near Loop I495 The hotel far exceeded my expectations and we had a great stay Parking was kind of congested, but we found spot close enough to the entrance

Our room was very nice and spacious The only knock of the room was the location of the TV, which faced a wall and the bathroom areahowever, it swiveled so that wasn’t a deal breaker The best surprise was the breakfast buffet 😋 We were treated to cheesy eggs, sausage and self serve Waffles (regular and blue berry) our first morning, and the next day was eggs, link sausage, fried potatoes and self serve Waffles (regular and chocolate) There was also plenty of coffee, juices, and other items available They also had a very large dining area which made finding a table and comfortable seating very easyThe location was perfect for access to the highways and very close to the subway stations and surrounding restaurants It was also only minutes away from the airport, so it made arriving to our departing flight very easy We would definitely stay here again when we travel to the DC/Virginia/Maryland area for a future visit

Steve Van Dyke

This is a mixed reviewStaff can make and break hotels Everyone I interacted with was polite and wanted to make things better

I appreciate that and I complement the staff for trying every time I brought concerns to them I saw several times the front desk staff dealing with situations with guests that could have spiraled out of control, but were handled with good grace and attitudeWith that, we had room maintenance issues First night we had a grinding noise from the a/c that caused a sleepless night We reported this and it was looked at, but not resolved We reported it again, and the a/c was replaced We also had water backup issues in both the tub and the sink, which we reported, but was not resolved I’ve never in almost 20 years had to report maintenance issues every day of my stayOtherwise, the amenities and location were great We enjoyed the outdoor pool, and the breakfast area was busy but well stocked and good- Edit -The general manager reply below indicated there was a private communication to me, and called me by the incorrect name No one from Hilton or the general manager to this point have reached out to me, and I have not been offered any compensation- Edit #2 -Hilton indicated that the GM had reached out to me and that has not happened to date I have left 2 voicemails to the general manager with no callback- Edit #3 -GM finally reached out and offered a credit Still haven’t seen this on my statement yet- Edit #4 -Finally received a credit on my account Hilton also reached out to me as well for the amount of time that it took me to resolve this

I have stayed here several times for work and it has been a great experience each time The rooms are very nice and are clean and well maintained The hotel bar and restaurant is convenient and offers a decent drink and lighter food menu, but the location and being within walking distance from everything on King Street is one of the best parts

The staff is very courteous and attentive and the hotel itself has some nice amenities and a little convenience shop as well My only complaint is how tight/narrow the parking garage is as well as the parking fees Otherwise, this has been a great place to stay

Alison Marshall-Rubin

Location is great; unfortunately, it was a pit stop for us, so we didn’t get to explore the neighborhood I’m pretty surprised the hotel is listed as 4-star There was a distinct mildewy smell in the hallway of our floor that lessened but didn’t disappear entirely

Room was clean but shows definite wear and needs an update, especially the bathroom The wastebasket in the room was comically small We didn’t venture to the in-house restaurant because the business convention crowd was so loud at the bar that we couldn’t imagine sitting and trying to enjoy a meal No issues with staff; friendly folks I have stayed at many Hiltons and handful of true 4-star hotels, and this one is definitely more of 3-star, based on the price of parking, the lack of an available pool, the on-site dining options, and the overall luxury of the hotel Decent if you just need somewhere in the area to rest your head for a night or two

The Hilton Alexandria Old Town couldn’t be more conveniently located from the airport – just two quick metro stops away It is also handy to DC by metro if you don’t mind a bit of a longer ride (we didn’t) The metro is right across the street and there is also a Whole Foods a few minutes’ walk away

The room was large, comfortable, and very nicely furnished It was perfectly quiet – something we really value in a hotel room The hotel is in easy walking distance of all the shops and restaurants on King Street, also the water front If you don’t want to walk, there is a free trolley that comes right by the hotel I recommend becoming a Hilton Honors member (it is free to do so), otherwise there is a charge for wifi The staff were friendly and helpful

Pros:The breakfast provided was niceI had a studio room which was nice and large/comfyAbout 10 minutes from the Dock and King streetCons:1)The walls were thin (ceiling and room to room walls)2) Several of the outlets in the room did not work3)The employees are rude (Other reviews said this, but I figured it couldn’t be that bad well I was wrong)-They did not explain the amenities-When I asked about additional charges, my questions were dismissed/ disregarded So make sure you are watching the charges they place on your card! It was more than just a hold charge-When I asked for a receipt, the front desk employee waved his hand in my face basically telling me to leave4)The parking is $32 per night (with in and out privileges), but the garage is creepy and looks like what you would see in a thriller movie where you’d get put in the trunk of a car The spaces are VERY tight and limited spaces

No other options around the hotel for parking except one where you have to pay each time you enter

Leland

Not well managed property Staff is slow and provides poor service Marriott needs to intervene

The gym has a sewer pipe leaking into a bucket splashing around for months Poor air flow in the rooms, the air conditioning unit doesn’t seem to come close to the setting and they allow pets so I find my breathing suffers here, I suppose from allergies The beds are a bit worn They replaced my towels and a large curly black hair was presented right on the front of the wash cloth, how niceThe breakfast is lame and unhealthy – all sugar and carbsThe gym is well equipped with weights which is really the only reason I have returned here but the plumbing leak I saw 3 months ago will keep me from coming back

Douglas Black

The good: fairly nice room with enough space and furniture for most needs Good location for Alexandria Breakfast is decent

The bad: they charge 32 dollars a night for parking Rooms are quite humid Wi-Fi is unsecured Hotel doesn’t allow legal firearms, so feels insecure

Over priced during the week, medium priced on weekends Staff is attentive & polite, rooms very comfortable and clean with great selection of pillows NO microwaves in any of the rooms so you must go down to the lobby which makes it very inconvenient as you’ve got to down dressed which takes completely relaxing out of the question

Breakfast has always been quick, hot and ready but ends by 9:30am – so much for sleeping in when on vacation I’ve frequented this hotel while on medical trips to specialty physicians in DC & visiting with family so needless to say I’ve enjoyed my stays

Spiral Tote

Over priced during the week, medium priced on weekends Staff is attentive & polite, rooms very comfortable and clean with great selection of pillows NO microwaves in any of the rooms so you must go down to the lobby which makes it very inconvenient as you’ve got to go down to the lobby and deal with the microwave than is in a low spot on the shelf in the hotel’s food store

There is a fridge and coffee maker in the room Breakfast has always been quick, hot and ready but ends by 9:30amThe hot water in the sink takes 8 plus minutes to get hot The shower head cannot be moved whatsoever The elevator carpet needs to be cleaned as it smells like the seaweed on a beach or worse

Anthony Noyer

I totally agree with the guy who posted this “It was rather disappointing, it was not as good as the ratings said, and it is also 19 miles from the nearest metro station, not 1 mile The breakfast was poor, but it was in walking distance of many great restaurants

The beds were comfy, but the room was tiny and so was the bathroom The water pressure was fair but it took about 5-6 minutes to get hot and sometimes it would change temperatures in the middle of the shower unprompted Overall it was a fair hotel but I wouldn’t suggest it to my friends” I would also like to add that you gym area needs to be renovated with fresh new colors to freshen up up the room and attract younger demographics It felt like going back in time to the 1990

Me and family booked a night here from out of state Family of 4 with the king suite and pull out couch First off the pool doesn’t exist so don’t pack bathing suits nor believe the pictures

We were told it had been out of use for 6 years In our room on the south tower side we had no air and not to mention we had two toddlers with us So it wasn’t pleasant nor did I sleep good Parking is ridiculous being $42 a night but I guess your car stays safe right…? The breakfast that we paid for with our reservation was okay not the best breakfast I’ve had and it kind of bothered my family because waiters tried serving us when we didn’t want to be served and bothered us while eating wanting a tip…when our food was paid for…and it’s a buffet The pull out couch for my oldest toddler was mediocre outdated kinda feeling I will have to say it was clean more than other hotels I’ve been to so I give it that and it was close to a lot of attractions That’s about it!

Sharion Flood

My daughter was graduating from college in the area so I booked a room here Upon booking the room, I asked was there a pool and was told yes there is an indoor pool On the website, it states there’s a microwave and refrigerator in the room

Upon arrival, there was only a refrigerator but no microwave My granddaughter wanted to go to the pool so after her, my niece and nephew got dressed, we called the front desk to inquire about the location of the pool and was told that there hadn’t been a pool in the past 5 years I had an event to attend with my daughter so I made a call to the hotel while I was out to ask about the microwave that was suppose to be in the room and was told they would bring me one Upon returning to the room (picture provided) this is what I was provided It looks as if they pulled it out of an employee lounge or something with dents all over it The 2nd night the cable went out and did not come back on (pictures provided) I called the front desk and was told that they had called for repair For taxes and fees, I was charged the same amount as another night of stay ($466 for 2 nights) (pictures of room provided)I had family in another room, which they did not have any air conditioning The hotel did have it repaired which worked for a few hours then went back out, however they did have cable the entire stayNot 1 time did I receive an apology for any of the inconveniences from this hotel staff I attempted one more time to address all of the inconveniences upon check out At that time they offered to comp my parking which I didn’t have a car there, so I asked that they comp my family with the room that had no air conditioning They did do that for themThe staff acted as if all issues happen on a regular basis as they are quick to respond without checking any of it outI would never stay at another Double Tree anything I do not recommend this hotel under any circumstances

Cheryl Denise

The service at this hotel was great and the staff was really friendly The rooms though

they really need to be updated Our bathroom mirror was broken all along the edges – which is a hazard – and the “King” bed in our suite was definitely a Queen Our shower didn’t drain properly, and since there is no daily housekeeping, that meant we needed to clean our own tub Good thing I had my Clorox wipesbut I didn’t pay the nightly fees to clean my own tub in a hotel suite Yes, maybe I could’ve switched rooms but who wants to do that after dragging your luggage to your room and unpacking? The A/C was questionable – you had to turn it down to the mid 60s to get the air up-to-par Note: this is coming from someone who typically likes the room in the 70sIf you don’t care about any of the above and you need a hotel in a great location, then by all meansknock yourself out

This was a great family vacation The hotel was moderately clean, I did find some random garbage in my room down by the beds However, the service was fantastic, especially the woman working the front desk the morning of 4/14 and 4/15/22

Breakfast was amazing we did get breakfast vouchers with our room when booking I would absolutely stay here again, anytime

Anthony

I stayed here for two nights Check in was pleasant and the property honored my Spire Elite status by leaving a note and goodies inside the room and allowing me to checkout late The location is great being right in the heart of Ballston

The room and parking rates are less than nearby hotels Although the service was good, I’m only giving it four stars because the bed wasn’t particularly comfortable and the walls seemed thinned enough to hear into the next room and the housekeeping in the hallway was disturbing because of this

Robert Norris

Just okay Pillows in the room were either completely flat or hard as a brick I found one out of 8 that was barely acceptable

The biggest negative is the breakfast that starts at 7 am That’s too late when you have to be at work at 8 in DC I do commend that they have a made to order breakfast, but it needs to start at 6 am Room itself wasn’t bad and the bed was decent Final negative is $16 a day for parking

I am a loyal Marriott member, Platinum Elite so far this year Overall this location is great for Convention Center trade showsI ate an omelette for breakfast and it was definitely than I expected for a busy morning service time

Did not try the restaurant for other meal times, but the bar is pretty nice and well run The beer list leaves a little to be desiredMain thing that keeps it from getting five stars is somehow I got placed in a “European” room, which means small bed, small room

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking any hotel This web site will compare thousands of booking websites and typically will have rooms much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of the highest rated in the area

I’ve been staying here for years If you stay for a few nights you for sure won’t regret itThis is definitely a four star hotel The staff are amazing They were welcoming and accommodating The room was clean, well appointed and comfortable I had a nice city view on the 8th floor Starbucks is conveniently located on the main level I will definitely be back

The location of the hotel ist great You can reach most attraction in Washington DC per foot The staff at the front desk was friendly

The cleanliness left a lot to be desired Our room was completely forgotten to be cleaned for one day! Instead of a clean room and fresh towels we got a page long detailed letter of apology Does this happen possibly often🤔?

Great hotel and amazing staff We stayed here for 2 weeks The hotel staff really cared, were so friendly, and very helpful

The restaurant has a great menu and the sushi chefs were superb The pool was very nice, and the gym had everything a person needs The hotel beds were very comfortable The staff that worked at the hotel marketplace were always so nice and friendly I highly recommend this hotel

This is a beautiful hotel with amazing views and staff Price is very competitive The staff were very kind and welcoming

I only stayed one night, I checked in around 5pm and left at 8 the next morning, so because of my time restraints I chose not to go directly to staff to see if they could make things right The bathroom was not properly cleaned The sink had hair from a previous shave, and I had a towel that didn’t seem clean either We had a chaise in the room, but it had some stains on it I am hoping this was just a fluke, because I would love to stay again They also charge $17 for breakfast, but we left early to grab breakfast elsewhere If it were for the disappointment with cleanliness, this would have been an easy 5 star review

It’s such a beautiful hotel with wonderful amenities, however, I have never had such terrible customer service When I first checked in, the receptionist was actually wonderful Checked in, went to my room, went to bed

I was then woken up at 5:30 am to the phone ringing I didn’t answer It rang a second time Still just waking up so I didn’t answer it in time Went back to bed Someone then started knocking on my door, yelling in my room saying “have you checked in?” Mind you, it is 5:30 am and I checked in the previous day at 4 pm for two nights I answer the door and the guy writes my name down and says I wasn’t reserved? So he took my name and said he’ll take care of it I go back to bed and my phone rings AGAIN and I answer it and no one is on the other end Then it rings YET AGAIN and I answer angrily, and they say “do you have a reservation?” To which I said my name and said I will head to the lobby I hang up and they called…again I didn’t answer and went straight to the front desk The receptionist then said “the last receptionist didn’t check you on all the way but I found your reservation and figured it out” and proceeded to give me a voucher for free breakfast For only that morning That I ultimately missed because I was woken up at 5:30 am and it took me a couple hours to fall back asleep after that No other explanation, and no other way to make it right in my eyes So so disappointed

I rarely write reviews but my husband and I just had a wonderful stay at the Lorien We only did 1 night but we wish we could have stayed longer The hotel was immaculate

The room was spacious, updated and clean Extremely comfortable We travel often btwn TX and NJ and this is a great , convenient pit stop I should also add that we are traveling with our dog and it’s a perfect walkable neighborhood

Cosette Livas

It was a bit overrated They charge for EVERYTHING, and really you can’t tell why For a Spa the TOWELS in the room were rough, the beds are NOT Queens they are Doubles, they only have double beds at the elevator and in adjoining rooms, I have request for neither and could not be accommodated

There were some staff that were very helpful and provided extras when asked, but for what we were paying we really shouldn’t have had to ask for enough towels etcThe location is great especially if weather it goodIf you Valet, look behind you if you don’t see him, they sitting in their car? (crazy) but they were able to get car to you when neededThe BEST part was the restaurant that is connected We did dinner thereTOP NOTCH, PRICEY BUT I WILL SAY WORTH IT The Mussels and the pastayummy David was the best waiter ever and we did see the value thereA friend recommended this place and he admitting stayed there years ago, he loved itbut when we told him our experiences, he said obviously they had changed management or ownershipWe even heard them charging a person for Early check in, the person walked up and said she was there, if room was available great, but if not she just wanted to leave info at desk for when ready, she was in a conference there the girl proceeded to check her in, says room is available and then addsthat will be 4500 early check in the guest was like wait, what, I said I would waitit’s crazy sneaky stuff like that, that really not goodOh and the Happy Hour wineis Woodbridgecome on give me something for the 2500 FEE you’ve tacked on

This review would have had more stars but upon check in the glasses in the room were very dirty Additionally when my boyfriend woke up the next morning we found a used condom by the side of the bed Totally unacceptable

The operations manager did call to explain how this is not up to standard etc which I did appreciate but just sucks It was my birthday and not how I wanted to spend the day Ended up checking out Unfortunate situation If you stay here please check the cleanliness of your rooms Front desk staff was very nice and pleasant Wish I had a better overall experience

If you’re looking for luxury, this place is NOT it I reserved a suite for 12 nights and had to check out after the second day The rooms are dark and dismal

Small windows facing a brick wall, letting in very little sunlight I feel like I’m in someone’s basement The rooms are drab and the decor is old and outdated My blinds were half broken and the dishwasher is literally one push away from completely falling apart Nothing here is modern The only luxurious thing about this suite is that it has hot water and A/C Oh yeah and it’s within walking distance of a lot of places

Ras Pamoja Tutashinda El

What a disaster Luxury includes 20 min wait for towels and linen only to find out and not being told that there is no hot water in the entire building A promise that hot water might be Available at checkout

an unannounced 150 hold on your credit card NEVER AGAIN AVOID LIKE THE PLAUGE 4pm checkin and an 11am checkout The only thing they would offer is sorry No stars if that was an option We traveled to DC in 97 degree weather did some sight seeing only to return back to the luxury suites with no water? Sad thing is they were still checking people in knowing there is no hot water

Momina Shafiq

Pros: Thre location is pretty central DC, its qalkimg distance to alot of places, the bus stand is at a 3ins walk as well Love that a CVS is literally right at the back of the buildingComing to the suites, the size is amazing, 1 bedroom, a good size tv lounge attached kicthen which have all the basic suppliesCons: i wish they had a washing machine in the suite as well or in the building

However ghe closest laundrette is 12 mins walking distanceIts super loud early in the morning from traffic noise to people talking loudly on the road, you can hear everything in this apartment, this used ro disrupt my sleep

The staff are friendly and well-mannered My room was on the top floor and was spacious, clean, and comfy The high ceiling had an automated sun-shade, but it didn’t work at the time so that was a bummer

Check-in and check-out were a breeze I would stay again for sure My only nitpick is the parking It’s a little tight depending on where you park

Dale Nelson

I hope the staff reads this, thank you, thank you, thank you for everything the week I stayed here I arrived on a red eye at 8am and they made accommodations to get a room ready so I could get some sleep before my event I was attending at 4pmThe room was excellent and comfortable, the AC worked great! The TV and internet were excellent, the hotel was clean and the bed was perfect! The staff was always professional and an amazing help! Very approachable and easy to talk to

Thanks for everything!

As much as I would like to leave a good review, I cannot Check-in was quick and easy, and the gentleman at the front desk was super nice He presented us with our room key, and we proceeded to our room

When entering the room it was extremely hot, as if the heat was on; though it was not My sister started to spray everything down with Lysol (seeing as though COVID is still going) and noticed that there were specks or dirt on her bed along with strands of hair We made our way back to the front desk where we spoke with a young lady who was there with the gentleman who initially checked us in We explained our issue, and she swapped us to another room My sister and I made our way to our new room (327), where we entered and started to check everything out I was highly disappointed Between the stains on my pillows, my bed skirt, and then the coffee pot, and ice bucket being in the bathroom; I was ready to leave!!!! I called down to the front desk spoke to the young lady (not sure if it was the same young lady who moved us already or not) and was told that there were no more rooms available I hung up and called nine other hotels that were in the area No one had any rooms available, as we were told that there was a college graduation that had all their rooms booked My sister and I went downstairs and asked for extra towels and sheets so that we could try to figure something out A gentleman brought some up, and my sister helped me change the sheets on my bed I placed the pillows on the floor and just used the towels as something to lay my head on when sleeping I stay at plenty of Marriotts throughout the country, but being at this Marriott was very uncomfortable, and I just wasn’t happy with cleanliness of the rooms at all It’s not at all how I expected to spend my Mother’s Day weekend, that my children and niece planned for my sister and I I wouldn’t recommend staying here at all

Great location for a week Clean and great staff Manager was an expert at handling issues

However, some variables that need addressedPesticides smell: travel a lot and never experienced this anywhere else It not pesticides, some distracting smell existsSecurity: door locks could be upgraded Window lock are actually broken in certain rooms Definitely the one I stayedBottom line: a great place and recommend

Rock boro

The Courtyard Springfield is a somewhat run down hotel that does not live up to the other Marriott properties we have visited Bathrooms were marginal in upkeep (Running toilets, squeaky and hard to close doors, damaged towel racks)$10 per person parking fee

Three of us arrived in one car so our one night parking fee was $30 for a single vehicle When we booked, the website gave us the total with all fees Did not include any parking fees Seems like a backdoor way to hide the real cost of the roomAC could not keep the room cool or control the humidity Not a comfortable nightIn general would not recommend this hotel There are many other better options within a couple of miles

Kristi Germ

The rooms had an odd smell The mattresses were nasty Urine or throw up stain on mattress near the head of the bed

The other mattress had what looked like dried boogers or bed bug shells in the cracks The windows open, but the screen was completely ripped so we had to keep it shut Cost extra to park and breakfast is not included Not worth the $170 Won’t return*Pictures attached

I have to say that the front staff is very helpful and professional My original room was nice, updates bathroom and very clean I had a issue with the TV since it didn’t work at all

Matt the attendant on duty came and checked it out, once he noticed that the TV needed to have a maintenance call, he switched my room without issues, double checked to make sure all amenities were in working order and then delivered the new room keys to me My second room was the same from the first I was right by the elevator, but did t hear a thing, seems like the room are well insulated Bed was comfortable and the amenities were in point I’ll be here again for my next work trip, glad to know there is a great staff here

Samantha Oney

The rooms are comfy and stylish and the hotel was nice and clean Though we were disappointed that the pool was closed and the shuttle wasn’t running But the staff were all very helpful
