This was a great family vacation The hotel was moderately clean, I did find some random garbage in my room down by the beds However, the service was fantastic, especially the woman working the front desk the morning of 4/14 and 4/15/22

Breakfast was amazing we did get breakfast vouchers with our room when booking I would absolutely stay here again, anytime

Anthony

I stayed here for two nights Check in was pleasant and the property honored my Spire Elite status by leaving a note and goodies inside the room and allowing me to checkout late The location is great being right in the heart of Ballston

The room and parking rates are less than nearby hotels Although the service was good, I’m only giving it four stars because the bed wasn’t particularly comfortable and the walls seemed thinned enough to hear into the next room and the housekeeping in the hallway was disturbing because of this

Robert Norris

Just okay Pillows in the room were either completely flat or hard as a brick I found one out of 8 that was barely acceptable

The biggest negative is the breakfast that starts at 7 am That’s too late when you have to be at work at 8 in DC I do commend that they have a made to order breakfast, but it needs to start at 6 am Room itself wasn’t bad and the bed was decent Final negative is $16 a day for parking

Great location for a week Clean and great staff Manager was an expert at handling issues

However, some variables that need addressedPesticides smell: travel a lot and never experienced this anywhere else It not pesticides, some distracting smell existsSecurity: door locks could be upgraded Window lock are actually broken in certain rooms Definitely the one I stayedBottom line: a great place and recommend

Rock boro

The Courtyard Springfield is a somewhat run down hotel that does not live up to the other Marriott properties we have visited Bathrooms were marginal in upkeep (Running toilets, squeaky and hard to close doors, damaged towel racks)$10 per person parking fee

Three of us arrived in one car so our one night parking fee was $30 for a single vehicle When we booked, the website gave us the total with all fees Did not include any parking fees Seems like a backdoor way to hide the real cost of the roomAC could not keep the room cool or control the humidity Not a comfortable nightIn general would not recommend this hotel There are many other better options within a couple of miles

Kristi Germ

The rooms had an odd smell The mattresses were nasty Urine or throw up stain on mattress near the head of the bed

The other mattress had what looked like dried boogers or bed bug shells in the cracks The windows open, but the screen was completely ripped so we had to keep it shut Cost extra to park and breakfast is not included Not worth the $170 Won’t return*Pictures attached

Over priced during the week, medium priced on weekends Staff is attentive & polite, rooms very comfortable and clean with great selection of pillows NO microwaves in any of the rooms so you must go down to the lobby which makes it very inconvenient as you’ve got to down dressed which takes completely relaxing out of the question

Breakfast has always been quick, hot and ready but ends by 9:30am – so much for sleeping in when on vacation I’ve frequented this hotel while on medical trips to specialty physicians in DC & visiting with family so needless to say I’ve enjoyed my stays

Spiral Tote

Over priced during the week, medium priced on weekends Staff is attentive & polite, rooms very comfortable and clean with great selection of pillows NO microwaves in any of the rooms so you must go down to the lobby which makes it very inconvenient as you’ve got to go down to the lobby and deal with the microwave than is in a low spot on the shelf in the hotel’s food store

There is a fridge and coffee maker in the room Breakfast has always been quick, hot and ready but ends by 9:30amThe hot water in the sink takes 8 plus minutes to get hot The shower head cannot be moved whatsoever The elevator carpet needs to be cleaned as it smells like the seaweed on a beach or worse

Anthony Noyer

I totally agree with the guy who posted this “It was rather disappointing, it was not as good as the ratings said, and it is also 19 miles from the nearest metro station, not 1 mile The breakfast was poor, but it was in walking distance of many great restaurants

The beds were comfy, but the room was tiny and so was the bathroom The water pressure was fair but it took about 5-6 minutes to get hot and sometimes it would change temperatures in the middle of the shower unprompted Overall it was a fair hotel but I wouldn’t suggest it to my friends” I would also like to add that you gym area needs to be renovated with fresh new colors to freshen up up the room and attract younger demographics It felt like going back in time to the 1990

Me and family booked a night here from out of state Family of 4 with the king suite and pull out couch First off the pool doesn’t exist so don’t pack bathing suits nor believe the pictures

We were told it had been out of use for 6 years In our room on the south tower side we had no air and not to mention we had two toddlers with us So it wasn’t pleasant nor did I sleep good Parking is ridiculous being $42 a night but I guess your car stays safe right…? The breakfast that we paid for with our reservation was okay not the best breakfast I’ve had and it kind of bothered my family because waiters tried serving us when we didn’t want to be served and bothered us while eating wanting a tip…when our food was paid for…and it’s a buffet The pull out couch for my oldest toddler was mediocre outdated kinda feeling I will have to say it was clean more than other hotels I’ve been to so I give it that and it was close to a lot of attractions That’s about it!

Sharion Flood

My daughter was graduating from college in the area so I booked a room here Upon booking the room, I asked was there a pool and was told yes there is an indoor pool On the website, it states there’s a microwave and refrigerator in the room

Upon arrival, there was only a refrigerator but no microwave My granddaughter wanted to go to the pool so after her, my niece and nephew got dressed, we called the front desk to inquire about the location of the pool and was told that there hadn’t been a pool in the past 5 years I had an event to attend with my daughter so I made a call to the hotel while I was out to ask about the microwave that was suppose to be in the room and was told they would bring me one Upon returning to the room (picture provided) this is what I was provided It looks as if they pulled it out of an employee lounge or something with dents all over it The 2nd night the cable went out and did not come back on (pictures provided) I called the front desk and was told that they had called for repair For taxes and fees, I was charged the same amount as another night of stay ($466 for 2 nights) (pictures of room provided)I had family in another room, which they did not have any air conditioning The hotel did have it repaired which worked for a few hours then went back out, however they did have cable the entire stayNot 1 time did I receive an apology for any of the inconveniences from this hotel staff I attempted one more time to address all of the inconveniences upon check out At that time they offered to comp my parking which I didn’t have a car there, so I asked that they comp my family with the room that had no air conditioning They did do that for themThe staff acted as if all issues happen on a regular basis as they are quick to respond without checking any of it outI would never stay at another Double Tree anything I do not recommend this hotel under any circumstances

Cheryl Denise

The service at this hotel was great and the staff was really friendly The rooms though

they really need to be updated Our bathroom mirror was broken all along the edges – which is a hazard – and the “King” bed in our suite was definitely a Queen Our shower didn’t drain properly, and since there is no daily housekeeping, that meant we needed to clean our own tub Good thing I had my Clorox wipesbut I didn’t pay the nightly fees to clean my own tub in a hotel suite Yes, maybe I could’ve switched rooms but who wants to do that after dragging your luggage to your room and unpacking? The A/C was questionable – you had to turn it down to the mid 60s to get the air up-to-par Note: this is coming from someone who typically likes the room in the 70sIf you don’t care about any of the above and you need a hotel in a great location, then by all meansknock yourself out

Ants Everything was fine with this hotel and my stay until I started eating my dinner at the table/desk in the room and then notice little ants coming all different directions towards my food I then search over the entire desk/table and find and kill about 25 ants

I then clean the table/desk with a wet towel and the towel ended up brown/black Rooms are renovated but shows they cannot even keep the new furnishings cleanOther then the ants the room the room was relatively clean with cold AC and no bad or musty smell in the room Gave a 4 only because of the updated rooms and distance to the national mall or it would have been a 3Even though I shouldI didn’t use the gym but it looks very empty equipment wise Apparently hotel has a outdoor pool McDonald’s right next door was clutch and ants would probably agreeI have come to accept choice hotels either have bugs in the room or the rooms are outdated or both and again sadly I was not disappointed with this stay with those expectations

Troy Brown

Overall, not a bad place to stay if you just need a place to sleep Staff was friendly at check-in, bed was comfortable, good location Had AC as cold as it would go for two days and it barely kept the room from feeling warm

The bathroom door squealed loud enough anytime it moved to wake other people in the room Room had a couple floor to ceiling cracks, hallway carpet was stained, and the elevator was beat up and a little sketchy

Lolita Pollard-Kezele

The rooms are remodeled and nice The outside need to be renovated The halls need attention too

They were working on it but it isn’t done They had a big school crowd It’s important to plan for this during breakfast time We just left and went to get our own breakfast at Denny’s But I would stay here again because the room was comfortable

They always remember us and provide the most impeccable care during our visits! I highly recommend this property, the ambiance and amazing staff ensure we always return!

I would highly recommend the Four Seasons in Georgetown The staff is so amazing and the Concierges is out of this world They helped us get tickets to all the places that we wanted to go around town and went above and beyond on places that didn’t have availability to try to get us tickets

Also the rooms are incredible! I can’t say enough about the service and the quality of the hotel

Betsy Juhasz

My daughter’s wedding was at the Four Seasons I have never had such exceptional service The food was beyond amazing, and the attention to detail was perfect

I have to say that the front staff is very helpful and professional My original room was nice, updates bathroom and very clean I had a issue with the TV since it didn’t work at all

Matt the attendant on duty came and checked it out, once he noticed that the TV needed to have a maintenance call, he switched my room without issues, double checked to make sure all amenities were in working order and then delivered the new room keys to me My second room was the same from the first I was right by the elevator, but did t hear a thing, seems like the room are well insulated Bed was comfortable and the amenities were in point I’ll be here again for my next work trip, glad to know there is a great staff here

Samantha Oney

The rooms are comfy and stylish and the hotel was nice and clean Though we were disappointed that the pool was closed and the shuttle wasn’t running But the staff were all very helpful

This property is a conundrum There are elements that if properly brought up to a more modern aesthetic would certainly elevate this property to the height of boutique establishments They have a variety of suite and rooms types to keep you interested to venture deeper into the room count

I’m partial to the ‘15 series of suites Separate bedroom style with a complete range oven in the kitchen It’s a spacious room with desk, seating of couch and arm chair And without even trying fit a dining room table in the room Certainly plenty of room to be in whatever mindset brings you peace Need some air but not venture through the hotels air if not necessary, there’s a quaint balcony to provide fresh semi private air when necessary It’s a hidden gym that could stand some polishing

Jackie M

The Clarion Choice Hotel in Arlington was very comfortable We had a large room with a kitchenette and were quite comfortable for our three day stay Everyone at the front desk was friendly and accommodating

The daily breakfast included eggs, potatoes, a breakfast meat, and pancakes as well as cereal, fruit, bagels and bread The hotel is older and shows it’s age, but there was nothing in need of repair It is also walking distance from the Courthouse Metro station, which was very convenient for traveling to DC

Charlierosent Rich

This place is a total rip offThe rooms was dirty under bed and under couches Dishes was dirty

Had to rewash dishes before using Had no paper towels Hair in the bath tub Kept my deposit and insisted a had a party That was a total lie just to keep my deposit I had no party and told them to check the cameras to see if i had a party Then said because the room was dirty i couldnt get my deposit Why do you charge a cleaning fee if your going to charge me for not washing dishes?

This hotel is not in Alexandria They charge a $100 “refundable” fee on top of your room fee for incidentals This is not even noted on your room charge recipes

So I hope I am not going to be scammed out of $100 The first room we had smelled horribly of marijuana We had to ask to move rooms as there is no way I would stay in that room The hotelHas been updated but there are some things that were not replaced The bathroom door did not close The pool water was cloudy and the hot tub was closed The towels had hair on them The breakfast was decent We only stayed here for one night so it was good enough There area is a little sketchy as it is on the “other side” of the highway from Alexandria Staff was friendly

Cary Paul

The staff was great That’s about it The first room I received was across from the hotel’s laundry

It was extremely hot Couldn’t get the temp inside the room below 78 degrees The second room was better The area is unsafe While I was there a car was broken into and someone’s truck was stolen a few days later People yelling all night outside the hotel, traffic and fire trucks all night, It was loud all the time I could hear people talking in the hall and in the rooms next to meThere is large gaps under the doors so you hear everything I wouldn’t pay to stay here I found a roach crawling around and there is an ant problem The guy in the room next to me was spraying bug killer around his room He said he went a bought some Spend your money someplace else

Samantha Willows

We stayed here on our visit to DC A good choice, the breakfast was subpar (there were no make your own waffles, probably for sanitary reasons, and the sausages and eggs were not particularly delicious) but the rooms were clean and it was fairly quiet The carpets could use a good deep clean, but that’s the case with anything that gets foot traffic

This is a great hotel! We stayed here for a few days, and the rooms and the service were great Plus it has a hot breakfast bar, which was wonderful Clean and quality, and the staff was friendly and very responsive to any needs we had

The location was very convenient (basically all of DC was within 15 minutes) Would definitely recommend!

Khun Khao (Resistance)

On a recent visit to DC Comfort Inn Ballston was our hotel of choice The beds were comfortable and the room size met our needs for a party of 4 I did have a couple of issues

On 5 of our stays the breakfast was exactly the same On the last day they switched out the sausage links with bacon More variety daily would be nice The water pressure in the shower was awful as were all hotels in the DC area on our stay The shuttle to the metro only runs until 8p It would have been nice on July 4th to run it a bit later but when I asked the manager I was told it was impossible Also, you must request daily room service but even though we did it happened once in 6d For the price of the room I expected more

Nicole Criss

WOW! I was originally booked at a different hotel who ended up having some issues, so they booked me here

and I’m sooo glad they did!!! This hotel was so convenient it made our trip perfect to tour Washington DC Right next door is a convince store and a very reasonable walk to nearby metro ! My daughter and I caught metro into DC then once we returned if it was dark this hotel just sent a shuttle van for us right to the metro stop so we didn’t have to walk back The most amazing thing was that they showed genuine concern for us We were rather late returning one night and when we finally made it back they remembered what time we left and were waiting to make sure we returned safely to the hotel!! Imagine that! Out of an inexpensive hotel full of others they remembered we were out and growing concerned if we were safe! Breakfast was awesome, always fresh coffee and ice water , hot cocoa in the lobby! Front desk clerk was personable warm and kind! Don’t stay anywhere else In Arlington!

Great hotel and amazing staff We stayed here for 2 weeks The hotel staff really cared, were so friendly, and very helpful

The restaurant has a great menu and the sushi chefs were superb The pool was very nice, and the gym had everything a person needs The hotel beds were very comfortable The staff that worked at the hotel marketplace were always so nice and friendly I highly recommend this hotel

Jasmine Hanonu

This is a beautiful hotel with amazing views and staff Price is very competitive The staff were very kind and welcoming

I only stayed one night, I checked in around 5pm and left at 8 the next morning, so because of my time restraints I chose not to go directly to staff to see if they could make things right The bathroom was not properly cleaned The sink had hair from a previous shave, and I had a towel that didn’t seem clean either We had a chaise in the room, but it had some stains on it I am hoping this was just a fluke, because I would love to stay again They also charge $17 for breakfast, but we left early to grab breakfast elsewhere If it were for the disappointment with cleanliness, this would have been an easy 5 star review

Tali Norby

It’s such a beautiful hotel with wonderful amenities, however, I have never had such terrible customer service When I first checked in, the receptionist was actually wonderful Checked in, went to my room, went to bed

I was then woken up at 5:30 am to the phone ringing I didn’t answer It rang a second time Still just waking up so I didn’t answer it in time Went back to bed Someone then started knocking on my door, yelling in my room saying “have you checked in?” Mind you, it is 5:30 am and I checked in the previous day at 4 pm for two nights I answer the door and the guy writes my name down and says I wasn’t reserved? So he took my name and said he’ll take care of it I go back to bed and my phone rings AGAIN and I answer it and no one is on the other end Then it rings YET AGAIN and I answer angrily, and they say “do you have a reservation?” To which I said my name and said I will head to the lobby I hang up and they called…again I didn’t answer and went straight to the front desk The receptionist then said “the last receptionist didn’t check you on all the way but I found your reservation and figured it out” and proceeded to give me a voucher for free breakfast For only that morning That I ultimately missed because I was woken up at 5:30 am and it took me a couple hours to fall back asleep after that No other explanation, and no other way to make it right in my eyes So so disappointed

Service was excellent Cleverly designed storage solutions throughout suite makes for a more comfortable extended stay Very pet friendly

Stove/oven combo is small, but adequate Missing a few kitchen essentials – prepare to purchase a few pans or adjust your meal plans accordingly Outdoor grills are a nice option Grocery store, restaurant, barber, & liquor store in the shopping center right next door Internet was hit/miss, especially during peak usage times Parking lot accommodated vehicles w/trailers and one semi w/trailer (2 would be pushing it, though)

C. “Diamondz” Angulo

I was completely satisfied with this Hotel I really liked my room It was a perfect size

I loved everything about it The room comes with a “OVEN” yes a real oven I’m from California so any hotels in California do not give you ovens they will supply you with a toaster oven I recommend this place I really liked it not only that they have a bunch of different types of snacks in the lobby the closets are really big go check it out

Pros: The room layout was greatCons: Didn’t receive any maid service Several doors didn’t close properly

No breakfast Was assured there was a fold-out couch, but our room didn’t have one Limited parkingIf you can, stay somewhere else

Worst service I’ve had in a long time – possibly ever This rating should be negative zero stars My mother is visiting from out of town (very far away) and I had planned a nice day to include afternoon tea for the both of us as a special treat

We do not get time together very often Imagine our surprise and disappointment when we arrived and the restaurant had no signs of life – closed without notice I went to the concierge desk of the Watergate and was informed it had been closed days before with no explanation and that they were sorry but the reservation must have been made through a glitch in their system The woman behind the counter was very nonchalant and not at all concerned, even when I showed her proof of my reservation Funny since I received both an email and two text reminders asking me to confirm, and was also charged for a prepaid tea service The Watergate staff did not offer any recompense, said I would have to resolve the charge to my card online, and to “try Georgetown” for something today Absolutely unacceptable! I will not be returning and will make sure to recommend against it every time I thought it would be fun to try, but there are plenty of better other and obviously better options in the area anyway I should add there were a couple of other guests in front of us who seemed extremely distraught by poor service and their rooms not being ready, so overall I would say this establishment should be passed over in every respect

100% recommended!!If you are looking for a 5 stars ⭐️ hôtel in DC, this is the one It was perfectly located for us between Georgetown and the Mall (walking distance), and very quiet at the same time Gym, pool, jacuzzi, library, breakfast are great

You can walk by the Potomac easily… and it’s one of the best rooftop in DC The architecture is beautiful and bold The staff is very attentive and always there to help We can say that the new GM know how to make a stay unforgettable!!!

Absolutely stunning hotel Amazing location by the Potomac River Walking distance to many different stores and restaurants

Check in was great Valet parking on site for $58 a night Rooms are spacious and the most comfortable bed Some rooms do have balconies with waterviews but they are a little dirty When trying to call the front desk it took awhile for them to answer the phone Besides a couple of those negative we would definitely come back

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your room This web site will compare thousands of booking websites and typically will have rooms a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This resort is the best rated in the area

I have been coming here for a long time If you stay for a few nights you for sure will love it I’m sure!Excellent hotel in a great location Reception staff were helpful and stored my bag since I arrived early until my room was ready Received a suite upgrade using my Marriott rewards with a nice view Room was clean with lots of space 2 separate thermostats Internet connected TV’s

This hotel is at 10 minutes from the National Mall in Washington DC This means that if you have a car, it’s really worth it to spend more or less the same money here than in one of the hotels inside DC limits within a lower categoryThe rooms are REALLY clean, which shows you are in a superior category hotel

The location is great, very close to DC and even closer to restaurants in Arlington We noticed a couple of minor issues (drawers which don’t close completely, the sink draining not as fast as it should) The hotel isn’t new but it has been quite well maintained

Chelsea M

This hotel is a great place to stay when visiting DC, you can ride the metro in & it isn’t that far The hotel was clean and smelled pleasant, I especially enjoyed the regular sized toiletries, I bring my own every time because the tint bottles that most hotels typically have isn’t enough for my family The snack stand down stairs was extremely convenient & they have a Starbucks in the lobby! Also the restaurant attached to the hotel, The Commentary had some extremely delicious food!! The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that you need the room card to exit the parking garage when you leave

We forgot of course & threw ours in the “express checkout” box right by the elevator The front desk woman was kind enough to make us one so we could get out Would definitely stay here again & recommend to others!!

There’s always going to be pluses and minuses I’ll do negatives 1st The bathroom was nothing close to the photos

Very small , outdated Atleast our room was Hotel has a smell as if smoking inside went on for years and still lingers Internet TV would be awesome to have Windows really dirtyPositives: Compared to more expensive, newer hotels, this one has the most comfortable bed I’ve ever been in More comfortable than mine at home and I didn’t think that was possible Loved the kitchen Other hotels don’t even want you to have a microwave anymore Kitchen is modern and cute Those 2 things are the most important to me when I’m looking The shower also is a priority to me, which was a negative but over all I’d rate this hotel more than a 2 star for sure Staff was friendly also You’ll get a great sleep You won’t want to leave the bed And actually have a nice kitchen to cook and a decent fridge to fit your foodTemperature was perfect in room also Would of been nice to have some kind of complimentary breakfast I would stay here again

Michael Matovcik

Literal roach hotelStayed here for a couple days while traveling for work The room wasn’t clean, shelves for the glassware were on was sticky The room didn’t have pans for the kitchen

When I was leaving the last morning I was staying I saw cockroaches around the kitchen, which is probably why my allergies were acting up The place is seriouslyThe toilet had to be messed with constantly to fill and flush, and the shower faucet wasn’t setup right eitherThe curtains for the room even when fully closed let a ton of light in from outside from the street lamps making it harder to sleep on top of the poor air qualityThe front desk staff were basically useless when asking for help Didn’t know where to get kitchen supplies and didn’t know how the IHG computer systems worked to even make changes or cancel the second room I had booked for a coworkerOverall, probably the worst IHG hotel I’ve ever stayed at, please do not stay at this place

Jim Henderson

I started my week long stay thinking it was okay Priceline sent me to an old dirty area of town but hotel had a small kitchen stove and refrigeratorBut then, no room cleaning for 9 days, when we went to the counter for things like towels they usually couldn’t find or noone was at the deskThe beds were very worn out and sadly

Last day Woke up early to find cockroaches on the floorThe place had some of the IHG upgrades I’ve seen but it’s just not clean

First time to try this hotel, was an amazing experience The check in process was seamless Ample of parking spots available ( was for free during my stay, I was told that at times they charge)

Also they are clear in their instructionsThe room I got was super clean and with a fridge and a microwave breakfast was better than what I got in an actual breakfast place with lots of choicesAlso they have a pool and a gym I hope you enjoy your stay like I did

We stayed at this location during our trip to DC and were blown away by the positive experience we had The manager, I believe his name was Kevin, was absolutely welcoming and accommodating in every way He went out of his way multiple times to personally ensure that every guest was comfortable and had all their needs met

We forgot to pack some supplies and he happily provided a replacementThe room was very clean, comfortable, and had no weird smells The Continental Breakfast was delicious and plentiful while the eating area was constantly kept clean Thank you to all the staff for making this a great trip We have agreed to make this our permanent hotel whenever visiting the area

Thomas Weaver

We had a very nice, spacious room We are showing our condo for sale and it was great that they were able to accommodate our cats! We had a comfortable, and restful stay The young gentleman at the front desk was super professional and attentive

Everything was fresh and clean I have had a great experience at each Hampton Inn that I’ve stayed at

This hotel is wonderful Staff from the front desk to the waitress to the housekeeper were friendly, professional and helpful Every question answered and responded to immediately

The rooms beautiful, the beds comfortable with differing softness of pillows and the sheets luxurious and comforter, well – comforting so that we all had the perfect sleep I will always try to stay at a Hilton Garden hotel wherever I travel because of my experience at this hotel

Hahn Family

The experience overall was subpar but I’ll start with the good- The rooms are clean There is art on the wall that reflects the City which is a wonderful touch

– The exercise room and indoor pool, fantastic I really enjoyed their exercise room, and my hubby and toddler the poolThe bad:- It’s been years since I paid for a hotel in person instead of online so this one may be on me The price per night was $160/night plus $24 tax in person vs $120-$130 plus tax online We paid for 2 nights and never found out long-term stay pricing because- The team who handle long-term stay pricing are only available during the week, not weekend We needed a room for 10+ days starting Friday so we paid for two days at full price- The parking situation is complicated You park either on the top level or bottom level Regardless of where you park, you have to take an elevator to get to the lobby and another elevator to get to your room There is a ramp in case you want to walk to the lobby but there are cars coming up the ramp- The breakfast service ($10 conventional || $13+ hot food) was very slow My hubby and 13yo spent over an hour at breakfast with about five other guest groups- The pantry area next to the front desk is not well stocked One morning, I walked with my 2yo downstairs to buy something simple, cereal or oatmeal I didn’t think it reasonable to pay $10 for a baby So we see that the pantry has cheerios in the plastic cups Great! The woman at the *front desk* lets us know there are more cereal options at the breakfast area Just in case, we walk over to see if there was anything special There wasn’t There were only cheerios in the plastic cups We return to the pantry area and try to find milk Surely there’ll be milk if they are selling cheerios in plastic cups The woman at the *front desk* lets us know that they don’t sell milk and that I’ll have to go to the breakfast area, aka pay $10, to get milk Really?? Not a great experience We bought oatmeal Important thing to note – The woman tending to the *breakfast area* was very kind and we felt loved and taken care of by herWe were really hoping of staying 10+ days at this location since our 13yo could easily walk to school (we were repainting our house a few blocks away) but after our experience the first two days, we left for the Staybridge Suites in McLean 10 mins away Best decision we made The rooms are double the size with a kitchen, the folks in the front desk are lovely, parking is easy, breakfast is free, and there are much better rates online than this Hilton

Dawn Brown

I am a chaperone for a Christian school group , the first morning we went to breakfast in a special conference room , they had only bran muffins for the youth , on my way out I decided to check the traditional breakfast room for guests snd was happily surprised to find a blueberry muffin I grabbed it , and an employee yelled at me that I was not allowed to have that muffin? Later that night after a full day of tours , our youth had about 20 minutes before the pool closed In one girls hurry , she forgot her shoes and snd was in socks

we were stopped by a gruff gentleman about 10 steps to the pool area who said shoes were required , with only 15 minutes to swim he wanted the youth girl to walk back through the entire hotel without shoes snd get them ? Huh? I offered to go get shoes for her while she swam and he said I could not ? What happened to common sense ? As a paying customer I have to say that these policies are trivial snd seem to be a power play ? I would never recommend this establishment for youth groups traveling , they were very disrespectful and down right rude

Very quick and easy check in The digital process is genius for those who are tech savvy enough The older crowd would probably still prefer normal front desk check in

I did not understand why there weren’t any trash bags in the receptacles that were provided in the rooms The room appeared clean and presentable Didn’t interact with any team members except at breakfast on Sunday morning The lady keeping the food stocked did a great job considering there were large groups of people there Sausage was not thoroughly cooked though Would have liked an additional meat alternative like bacon or ham Overall good experience though they location posts challenges for charter buses with large groups I would stay there again for a little less price though Double bed though not Queens

I always stay at Hilton hotels The standards are always very high with the Hilton brand This location did not disappoint

All of the staff was very nice, the hotel was very clean, and the location was perfect Frank at the front desk is one of the nicest people I have ever met in my life His personality is very uplifting, he has this positive energy about him that is like no one I have ever met before I will definitely stay at this property again and will highly recommend it to all of my friends and family

When we arrived at the hotel, the entire lobby was torn up being remodeled This included the breakfast area They had breakfast set up at the Holiday Inn next door, but the communication on where exactly this was, the hours, etc

was extremely poor On the morning we checked out, the elevators down to the lobby were being inspected There were no signs on the elevator buttons in the lobby or on any of the floors After a few minutes of standing there pressing the button and nothing happening, we gave up and carried our suitcases down 6 flights of stairs During the checkout timeframe seems like a really bad time to not have the elevators accessible to guests Thankfully we were able-bodied enough to carry our luggage down the stairs The room itself was nice and updatedI understand that this is all a necessary part of remodeling, but there was no note of these inconveniences on the website when we booked and I’m not sure if the room rates reflected this The biggest complaint we had was the lack of communication surrounding these temporary changes If we would have known about the remodeling in advance, if we had been informed of the changes to the breakfast, and if there were signs posted on the elevators informing us of the inspections going on that made them unusable, it would have eased a lot of frustration

The people at the front desk were the nicest hotel workers we ever met! One of them even started a conversation with us One thing I would have liked better would be to have the signs in the lobby tell people that there was a pool on the first floor! I was pumped about hearing that there was a pool when we got there but I never found out until the morning we were leaving The food was ok but if your serving sausage then I want sausage not oil

The TV in our room (unlike the last hotel I went to) actually allowed us to play on our Switch The view from the rooms are also great Above all it was a great experience The location of the hotel is perfect for anyone who wants to go to DC but doesn’t want to wake-up to a myriad of horns honking,

Let me count the ways Trust me I am not the critical kind of guy 1) Basic stuff here the safe does not work

2) Human hair on the bathroom floor a lot of it 3) The ceiling fan was dirty 4) The sink was slow to drain Etc, I booked this place for 4 nights This is crazy, looking for a better place as I type I will talk with management before leaving It will cost me to leave this dump, sorry shack yes that is more accurate I hope the quality control will improve someday I was locked out of the room for about 45 minutes one morning the electronic door key system failed I was told I had to wait until the maintenance man came in LOL The office center computer system did not work the entire stay I was there Enough already, I guess I am the only one these things happen too They got a lot of great reviews
