Wow! This place is amazing! Definitely home away from home We arrived early and Mr Kim let us check in early, which was so helpful! Pool was freshly cleaned and so nice

Room was large and spacious and spotless The location is tucked away on a hill, yet close to everything Staff was wonderful Such a clean, homey, amazing place to stay! Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to everyone Thank you for making our stay wonderful!

I didn’t, personally, stay at this hotel but my husband has been traveling for business a lot recently and he says this is the best hotel he’s stayed at The rooms are clean and the staff is always pleasant and helpful I made the mistake of booking the wrong Best Western last week and he stayed at the other one one night and then had me switch hotels to this one because he liked it so much the first time he stayed there

I have called in twice with booking questions and spoke with Jin (General manager) both times He is awesome! Whatever he’s getting paid, it is not enough He remembered me even though it had been at least a few weeks and we had only spoken once He has been very polite and very helpful every time that I have worked with him He always greets my husband by name and he says he is always great to deal with I have dealt with a lot of hotels recently (other Best Westerns and other hotel chains) and this location is above and beyond the competition and cheaper then many others out there If ever we need to come back to the area, this is where we will be staying

Where to start?…Dirty, outdated, mediocre breakfast, mild on tub and bathroom For the price of the room, I expected much more The shower is tiny and had mold in the caulking and mold on the shelving

Hole in my closet door The spring on the entry door to my room is not working properly so the door does not shut unless you pull it fully The door handle to the room entry door is wonky and you have to pull up and then down on the handle to enter the room The breakfast is mediocre at best Housekeeping has not come by to take dirty towels and replace in two days of stay One of the worst experiences I’ve had at a hotel recently and I would warn anyone coming to Birmingham not to stay here Take your money somewhere else!!

This is a very nice hotel I travel all over the country for work, so I’m constantly in different hotels, and this is definitely one of the better ones I’ve been in The rooms are very nice, comfortable, and kept very clean

The whole hotel is very nice and clean The staff are superbly kind and helpful, and will go out of their way to accommodate you The free breakfasts and dinners are great too It’s not fine dining, but it’s free and tasty, what more could you want? And the complimentary 3 drinks a night is a very nice touch, I always enjoyed myself at dinner

Carlos Campbell

Make sure to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your hotel This web site will compare countless booking websites and typically will have rooms much cheaper than others! You’re welcome :)! This resort is the best rated in this area

I’ve been coming here for a long time If you stay for a few days you definitely will love it I’m sure!Absolutely loved staying here Lovely warm welcome We had a suite and it was fantastic, rooms were big and had everything we needed to feel comfortable Complimentary food and 3 free drinks each Would definitely stay here again

A.N. Explores

The people that work here are so so nice and friendly They’re happy to help if you need anything Definitely made our stay that much better

While the rooms could use updating (replace chairs, & carpeting) the rooms, beds, and bathroom was spotless The beds were very comfortable I was so thankful to have a very clean room The shower has a wall hanging pump for body wash, shampoo and soap which was nice as well as a blow dryer Mini fridge and microwave inside the dresser furniture piece A good hot breakfast & dinner buffet, 3 alcoholic beverages included during the dinner, & there’s fountain sodas I don’t drink but they were so nice to make us virgin margaritas and it doesn’t count against your 3 drinks card Pop corn wasn’t good and didn’t have any butter or flavor, would be great if they could get some buttery popcorn for the next visit The hot tub has some powerful jets which felt good, and a large swimming pool that goes from inside to outside There’s a pool towel area inside to quickly grab a towel I felt very safe staying here, it’s a nice area We will definitely be back when visiting the area again

Overall, I had a great stay at this hotel The location is great – near lots of restaurant and bars (you can just walk) My room was very spacious, nice and comfortable; and had everything I needed

I was happy to have a kitchenette that included a full fridge Even the common areas were very nice and cleanThe only reason I didn’t give this hotel 5 stars is because the breakfast fell short It just wasn’t that good to me Perhaps, other guests feel differently In the same breath, you’re so close to everything that you can just walk to a breakfast destination I would definitely stay at this Homewood location again

Bathsheba Johnson

I’ve stayed here twice, the rooms are absolutely beautiful and the staff is the friendliest I have ever had! However, the room I had last night needed more cleaning The shower wasn’t very clean in the corners and there were smears on the wall near the bed that I’m going to call chocolate The couch had some stains also that I forgot to photograph

Regardless, I enjoyed my stay and will stay again

Kristine Hansen-Dederick

The hotel itself is nice, but expect zero customer service Only folks I ran into seemed pretty lazy and bored Didn’t seem like too bad of a job, so not sure what the problem is there

Location is great and the rooms are spacious and quiet I can’t get past the bad attitudes though and probably would not stay there again It’s too pricey for that BS

I had a wonderful one night stay at the Redmont All of the staff from valet, to front desk, to restaurant staff, were very friendly and helpful This it a downtown hotel and great for business travelers or a weekend getaway

There is a rooftop bar that is supposed to be amazing However it was closed due to the weather and short staffing I had drinks and appetizers in the restaurant Both were very good The room was not large but had a desk and king size bed which was very comfortable The Redmont is on the National Register of Historic Places It is also listed as the most haunted hotel in Alabama I did not see any ghosts Maybe next time…………

Danny Haralson

We didn’t stay here but we will! We’re from Bhm and next time we want a downtown evening, this will be the place Hotel is nice (Hilton Curio) with a long history but the staff was the best! We went (small group 10 +) stopped by roof top bar for a drink Staff opened doors, helped us figure out elevators (only 1 goes to penthouse/ bar) and served drinks

We travel often but think we’ve found a gem right here with service & pleasantness leading the way (how rare!)

Dana Aderhold

The staff at check in was less than helpful The staff at checkout was helpful though Room was dirty

$35 to valet was ridiculous when they are just moving the car to a public parking lot across the street that I could have parked in myself for 1/2 the price Hotel smelled old and musty Homeless people harassing me outside of the hotel I didn’t feel safe and will never be back

Let me start by saying this was my first time staying at a place like this! When I pulled up I thought it was an apartment complex not a “hotel” per say! But it was nice and perfect for a family trip The staff that we came in contact with our first night there for check in were AMAZING I can’t remember her name but she just started recently! She was bubbly and very sweet and made me excited to get a room there But the staff the next day not so much! Our shower was TERRIBLE! The shower head was broken all the way off and the water shot out with very high pressure and it was crooked!! It was pretty rough and when I brought it up at the desk I was told by the change of staff that all they could do was tell maintenance about it

That was the sour part of the trip! Besides that everything else was fine

Tiffany Manes

The room was not cleaned from the people before us Trash in the trash can, skid marks in the toilet, and beds not made up We showed up with 4 tired kids I made up the beds myself and just dealt with it for the night

Too tired to make a fuss, but I had to write a review to warn others Also the locks on the door were broken The deadbolt didn’t work and the top bar lock was broken off, so we slept with a chair under the doorknob and the couch pushed up against it We got the 2 bedroom suite for $100 The beds were very comfortable The front desk was very nice when we checked in There is no breakfast though so don’t count on that

Tokyo Blues Man

Booked a room for my boss that came from Japan on my credit card Then, when I checked him in, my boss presented his credit card and told the clerk to charge his credit card and not mineWell, what do you know! They charged his room on both of our credit cards – they double charged us!I called and requested them to reimburse/credit my card and the same clerk said “no problem”

A month later, it was never credited So, I called again and they gave me a run-around So, I had to call the head office And they gave me a run-around, too So, I had to deal with my credit card company, and by then, they told me it was too late to do anything about itI used to refer this hotel to all of the people visiting from Japan but NO MORE I will NOT use this hotel ever again!

Customer service from Victoria (Vicky) was 100/10! She made my partner and I feel so welcome and comfortable! Her attitude was just beautiful 4/5 stars because the room was not as clean as I would have liked There was an old used soap bar left in the bathroom and the shower was a dingy color

Almost as if it were half cleaned Everything else was great! Love the bed and TV!

My company has several business interests in Birmingham We have been using this location for years and, under the previous manager (Tillman), we have always found the accommodations nice and professional A few months ago, a new manager (Jessica) took over and everything changed

There is a complete change at the front desk and the new staff act as if customers are an inconvenience They are rude and incompetent We use online reservations and E-check in More often than not, they can’t find our reservations and/or the room we have reserved has been changed to something completely different The side access doors no longer work with your room key The front desk will tell you that the card readers are broken, but you can watch the staff use them regularly You can only use the front door, which requires walking completely around the building regardless of weather The trash cans are routinely overflowing On my last stay, my room (I had E-checked in to a different one prior to arriving) smelled I’m not sure if it was the dirty carpet or a large, stinking bag of trash left outside my door from when I checked in to when I checked out There were bugs on the bed The common areas were dirty My company has been reserving several rooms, several nights a month for a very long time After discussing this with my VP, we will no longer be staying at this location Birmingham has a lot of hotels to choose from There are literally half a dozen within a stone’s throw from this location We won’t put up with this anymore

Ed Jenkins

The staff are all super nice and helpful However, I believe this hotel is in need of a serious deep cleaning The elevators were dirty and smelly, and there were several things in our room that were sub-par

It smelled strongly of an unpleasant air freshener, and many of the surfaces in the room had not been cleaned Also, the hotel overall just needs refreshing with updated furniture and wall coverings It is not up to the standard of most Hampton Inns we have stayed in

My room was clean and nothing was shabby That is the only good thing I can say There was no shampoo

They told me they had run out a couple weeks prior That is hard to believe for a name brand hotel But the least they could have done was tell me before I left home and I could have brought my own shampoo My room faced a 12 lane highway ( yes, 6 lanes in each direction!) The noise was constant and explained why the room had a white noise machine I was attending a seminar and no one in the hotel knew where it was so I had to wander around to find it One of the attendees told me his room rate which was $50/night less than mine He said when he made his reservation he asked if there was a discount rate for attendees I went to the front desk about this, and they told me too bad, nothing they could do I could try calling sales So I did and Sales said I had to register on line which was a lie as the other person I spoke to attending the seminar did not register on line he made his reservation by phone Just a bad experience overall

sheldon klinger

There is a fine line between a very good hotel and a less than average hotel The check in was very slow, showing that the manager was not willing to come and help check customers in Secondly, there were laundry carts sitting by the elevator

This is evidence of poor housekeeping And, there was molding, or trim pulled off all over my area, including my room It would have been nice for them to inform me there was construction going on, when I checked in There was no TV signal

Whitney D.

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times over the years, and after last night’s stay, I believe they should’ve just remained closed To begin, at checkout I was told that the room choice I booked was no longer available The guy who checked me in was even excited that I decided to only stay one night instead of the two I booked (so obvious they overbooked)

I took the room they had, and we noticed we had no small face towels in our room, so we requested them and were told they were dirty, and that cleaning staff didn’t arrive until the next morning That was fine, so the next morning we called around 7, and we were told they would be in by 8 I then went to the desk at 8:25, and the staff member was purposely rude to myself and everyone else who was in line She even turned her back to me to speak with another staffer, and made it clear she didn’t care She did inform me that cleaning staff didn’t get in until 8:30, before turning her back to me, though I asked if I could give her my room number for towels and she wrote it down By 10:00, still no towels and no word On top of that, water did not get hot (only warm) and the shower had hair in there from the previous people When I went to check out, customer service from her was just as terrible She is so mean to everyone for no reason Why have someone like this working your front desk if you are a 4 star hotel? Very disappointed and surely won’t stay again The Westin has much better service There was also no hair dryer in the room, which was odd I completely understand that by today being Father’s Day, you guys may be short staffed, but there is absolutely a way to inform customers and to have the employees who do come to work offer an apology for the inconvenience Staying at this hotel is no small fee, and I am disgusted I will say the valet team was extremely nice, but most people are when working for tips

Great customer service Clean room Wonderful, central location

Parking lot fully lit and safe If ever in Birmingham again, will definitely stay hereAn aside, the hallways and elevators are very warm and humid Definitely a turnoff, as was trying to get the room cool enough We were told this was due to a new system installed that pulls air from the outside – not great when it’s July in Alabama! Overall, though, very pleased!!!

Marquita Gibbs

This hotel is beautiful and in a quiet area When we arrived and checked in, there was an issue with our room Nelson at the front desk accommodated us quickly and made sure we were comfortable for our stay

The breakfast had many options and we were very pleased Kelsey and the main cook were very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of Their hospitality made celebrating our special occasion an even more joyous event Definitely recommend this hotel

Bill Fortenberry

The hotel personnel were amazing They were very professional and friendly Unfortunately, the building itself seems to be suffering from some structural issues

There was a large dip in the middle of the floor of our room, and the floor of the bathroom was so off level that the toilet lid would not stay up and the sliding door for the shower would not stay closedWe at breakfast at the hotel “restaurant,” but we would have been better off eating somewhere else There was not a free breakfast provided, and we would have had no issue with paying for a decent meal, but the food was the exact same fare that we would have gotten for free at any other hotel in the area It was also annoying that breakfast was served an hour later on Saturday than on FridayWe did appreciate the fact that the clientele at this hotel are mostly business leaders as opposed to vacationers The hallways were very quiet, and we did not have any disturbances during the night Overall, it was a good stay, but I don’t think we’ll be back given the structural problems and the lack of a real restaurant

Very nice hotel and staff Very clean, rooms are very spacious A word of warning though and only reason I didn’t give 5 stars – if you’re someone with long hair plan on an extra hour or two to get ready if you’re showering

The water pressure of the shower is super weak, it’s like a trickle If you have long hair it will take about an hour or two to rinse the shampoo/conditioner out of your hair

Kris Macchiarola

This hotel accommodates pets (which I did not know) The hotel should have designated rooms for people with pets vs people without

My room smelled like animals and triggered my allergies immediately The staff did their best to improve my experience, but it wasn’t enough because every time I went back to the hotel, my symptoms would worsen

Jessica Modic

My husband and I stayed here for 4 months, so we know ALL the details The staff is amazing! They truly go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need to make it feel like home Yonas brought all of my packages to my room, Nick always grabbed my garbage and towels outside my door, Desiree made sure the housekeepers even used my non toxic cleaning products! Larry made sure anything I needed fixed got taken care of and Niemah (prob spell wrong) is top notch in taking care of all hospitality services! So blessed to stay with this crew and we are sad to leave!

Great service, very clean refreshment room We got a room with a nice view over the golf course A lady who did a check in for us told us that our room is not ready yet probably about 30 minutes or so

So we decided to wait for it As we were waiting about 45 minutes for the room that we were supposed to wait for but then she said we are getting a room downstairs instead Somehow she messed up and gave the room we were waiting for to someone else However, We are Thank you to another Gentleman who fixed it so we have a different room upstairs as we wanted it upstairs with fresh air He even gave us a nice compliment

Vanesa P

We loved the breakfast so much we invited family with dietary restrictions to eat there with us Even the gluten, dairy, egg, and nut free relative was happy When we returned home my daughter wouldn’t eat the breakfast I made in the hopes that one of Chef Billy’s delicious omelettes would appear

We also loved the pool and the 4th of July celebrations that took place on the 3rd The only complaint was with housekeeping For some reason this luxury hotel has decided not to clean the rooms every day You have to request every day that you want the room cleaned Even though we went through the motions of requesting the room to be cleaned each day they would not always come That led to having to request more towels and shampoo The shampoo arrived, but not the towels We ended up borrowing towels from the pool area when needed I think the housekeeping issues may be due to staff shortages Overall we would return to Alabama to stay at this hotel It made our trip worthwhile

Shawn

What a beautiful resort Definitely top 10 the best hotels I’ve been fortunate to stay at From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, the entire staff from the front desk, bartenders, concierge and maintenance crew was on point

I stayed 2 nights and got to say, I got the best rest I’ve had all year It may have been from all our meetings and training we did during the day But the moment my head hit those comfy pillows, I was out cold The beds are beyond comfy, with the right amount of support The room was amazing and very spacious The pool is amazing and definitely kid friendly The food is top tier as well All of these things are beyond important, especially since I work with one of the most classiest organizations on the planet 🌎, MERCEDES BENZ I attended this year’s EQ Experience and with out a doubt, my manufacturer rolled out the red carpet with our stay at the Renaissance Ross Bridge Golf ⛳️ course (The Castle)

My stay here was pleasant The staff is very matter of fact and no non sense You ask for information and they will provide you with the information when it is available

I only stayed here one night in a double queen room The view was nice I had to shove the door open when coming in but the room was clean and comfy Nothing impressive but all the amenities were accurate and the room was cleaned Breakfast is nothing fancy but I enjoyed the waffles The gym has disinfectant wipes, towels and filtered water If you need something basic and to the point, this is your place

Anthony Johnson

Stayed here for the last two nights and there is a lot to like about this place Beautiful architecture, nice rooms and great location Could have easily given them 4 stars but their front desk personnel had attitudes and in some cases were plain rude

I’m a lifetime Diamond Hilton Honors member and there is a fine line between being a good hotel versus being a great hotel And until the Owners and Management of this hotel require warm customer service this place will always be just a “good” hotel

Barney Moore

Don’t get it twisted, this hotel is not worth your money Clogged drains, cracked sink, cracked toilet, no refrigerator, AC wasn’t working right, very tiny rooms I travel all over the country for work and this was absolutely the smallest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in

Street parking is a pain, not the safest area at night either I found the hotel staff to be kinda rude in general Nothing about this hotel feels historic except maybe the view from the street They serve breakfast on the top floor, so I went up there at 7am and it was 80 degrees in that damn room It’s basically the same terrible breakfast as any other Hampton Inn, but add 10 degrees to the ambient temperature No cold milk or cream at the coffee station, no milk in the fridge, and no fridge in the rooms either Good luck if you stay here I booked 3 nights and dipped out early just to get away from it My best guess is they don’t have the money or staff to properly service the place, but if you’re gonna charge $180/night you better get your act together Beds are so squishy the sheets come popping off Congrats, you’re the worst hotel I’ve been to in 37 nights at Hilton brand hotels in the past few months Now comes the hard part, put some money into this place and make it right Historic shouldn’t mean run-down

We go into town a little early, but our room was ready at 1pm and very clean We were very appreciative to check in early in the middle of our soccer tournament day At the end of the day we enjoyed the pool for several hours and at dinner poolside

The area was very clean The kids had some hot chocolate in the lobby on the way up to the room Thanks so much to the night staff on 8/20 that was very patient with our kiddos The gentleman at the front was so kind and helpfulOur room was very clean The beds were cozy and the air conditioning was cold It was very spacious for my daughter and I The bathroom area was also very cleanBreakfast the next day started at 7, but hot coffee was available at 615 The breakfast area was crowded but there was mostly enough seating for everyone Yogurt, breads, eggs, sausage, waffles, fresh blueberries, and waffles were availableWe had a great stay Thanks so much!

Had a wonderful stay there! We traveled from Chicago so my daughter could visit friends in the area Got there on Thursday night and the girl behind the desk was very nice Rooms were exceptionally clean

We stayed til Saturday morning and then traveled on to Louisiana for a wrestling show my husband was working On our way back from Louisiana we had to stop back to drop a friend off and we had no problems staying there again The guy behind the desk this time went above and beyond to accommodate us He saw I had knee brace on and offered me a wheelchair to get up to our room Rooms again were exceptionally clean Such a nice place to stay My family and I have decided that the next time we visit we will definitely stay there again

The hotel was ok and some the staff were nice However PLEASE pay attention the your credit card statement once you’ve checked out My card was charged FIVE times for ONE room

Once contacted the manager on duty apologized but was uninterested in explaining why or how this had happened He asked if I give five days and call back to see if the charges were gone Just horrible in my opinion I’m a Hilton Honors member and he offered nothing for the inconvenience that this has caused me

We love staying at this hotel This was our 3rd stay here My family and I were in town for my graduation

We did not use many of the amenities this time, but we have used the fitness area and breakfast bar in the past and loved them We would stay here again The location is the perfect distance from UAB schools The rooms have always been clean Our parents are still raving about the comfort level of the mattress and pillows

I booked this hotel largely due to loyalty to the Hilton brand and the strong reviews, and feel obligated to post to warn other travelers This hotel is by NO means worth of anything close to four stars While the hotel is very much “fine” it leaves much to be desired and is by no means worthy of the price tag Hilton places on what is supposedly their “flagship” property in the city

The rooms and decor are dated, and equivalent to a Hampton Inn but double the price The seemingly dumb but surprisingly most impactful negative about the property was the PILLOWS They are effectively as thin as paper once you lay your head on them, and no other pillows are available at the hotel Beyond sleeping with a thin piece of paper as a pillow, the sheets or itchy and might be 50 thread count max, and the A/C was set to 74 when we arrived so the room was sweltering hot No breakfast or snacks are provided regardless of loyalty or rewards status, the coffee machine in the room looks like it came straight from goodwill with only one (terrible) coffee packet thing provided There is NO BODY WASH (???) provided only bars of hand soap, which was shocking in and of itself The CHERRY on top was housekeeping banging on the door at 8am waking us up and interrupt the little sleep we could get on the paper pillows in order to turnover the room, despite the noon checkout time All around one of the more atrocious experiences at a Hilton property and despite the convenient location, will not be one to which I return

We checked in to our room which had the worst smoke smell I have a smoke allergy and immediately felt my eyes itching and watering so I called down to the front desk to ask if we could switch rooms They didn’t have many options and I know it wasn’t easy but she was able to move me to a different room on the same floor and I feel like it was a big upgrade

It was a corner room (and handicap accessible) so it was spacious It didn’t have the smoke smell and it was cleanWe only stayed one night passing through town but not sure I would stay downtown again The walk-ability to restaurants/bars is good lots of options However the street noise is not good All night we could hear cars, people, music and sirensBreakfast was good but there was one lady (rosa maybe?) that was rude and condescending I don’t know what I did to offend her but she followed me around telling me what I did wrong every time I came up to get something No smiles or friendly demeanor whatsoeverParking is $15/night and you get one vehicle per room (small lot) so plan accordingly!

Here for one night There was a member of staff learning to make towel animals as we were checking in I made small talk with him and after we returned from dinner he put two in our room

Very good staff at this hotel The room was clean (had an odd smell in the room, but it wasn’t a bad smell -it might have been a cleaner or something)I would stay here again

Book for my son’s college orientation (go Blazers), the staff(housekeeping, front desk and security) are super friendly and helpful Our room was nice( coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge) The bath area can be a little tricky, if you are a lady and have to shave your legs, there is no where to prop your foot up(know your flexibility limits)

Restaurants are in the immediate area( We tried J Wing’s eatery, they were pretty darn good)

I’ve always stayed at this hotel since they opened for business, and never had any issues until now Over the past years I’ve noticed the decline of the upkeep of the rooms I stayed one night and woke up to bites on my my upper and lower arms

Upon inspecting the bed that morning it was bed bugs I was horrified that this hotel does not value the safety and cleanliness of rooms for their customers I hope they take their complaints serious and try to improve with the cleanliness of the rooms Breakfast was ok nothing to get excited about The area don’t bother me, convenient location for track meets I would not be staying at this hotel again, nor do I recommend!!

This was such a nice stay The room was perfectly-sized, everything was crisp and clean, and the folks who saw us in and out were very nice I know a Jeff was working the night shift and I apologize for not knowing the lady’s name this morning at 5:30am but she and Jeff were both wonderful! I would give this hotel 10 stars if possible and I am PICKY when it comes to hotels

Even the elevators had cute little sayings, which I feel was a nice touch (I’m posting a pic of one that made me smile) Thank you for a wonderful stay, Sonesta!

Based on previous experience (2 years ago under another brand) I did not get what I was expecting The exterior of the property looks welcoming but the rooms are a nightmare The rooms are dark, gloomy, and smelly

In 9 days on property there was only 1 good housekeeping experience Some of the team members are AMAZING, very cordial and personable but others are the exact opposite The locatiin is central and makes it easy to get around This is definitely not the same hotel it was a couple of years ago

Stayed at Sonesta on Mother’s Day, May 8, 2022 I love the location of this hotel, it was within the area of our visit to Birmingham It was quiet, security was provided, as well as extra security locks on the room doors

Our room was very comfortable, very clean and smelled nice, even though the furnishings were a bit outdated The bed was comfortable and we had extra pillows that we requested online Candy, who was on the front desk when we checked in was exceptional She is engaging, knowlegeable of her job, and very professional She made our stay nice right from the start even before we entered our roomAnd, lets not leave out Whitney, who checked us out the next morning She was also engaging and professional as well This hotel was a surprise to us, we hadn’t heard of the brand but took a chance It is located in a quiet area right off Interstate I-65 with plenty of places to eat There is even a Walmart in the area (which is a plus for me) I will definitely stay at Sonesta Homewood in the future when I am in the areaPS Thanks Candy for your help when I called late night on May 11 And, she even greeted me by name over the phone before I even began to tell her why I called or who I was Even with Caller-ID, I probably would not have remembered the name of a previous guest Like I said, personality Plus and attention to detail!!

We had a room reserved and had pre-paid for today 7-27-22 They called at 2 pm today to tell us they are canceling our room as they were overbooked for the room type Didn’t offer to change room typed as we had a 2 bedroom suite

Had a unrefundable room if we canceled but they didn’t offer any comp from their canceling Had to get our agent to get our funds back as they said they wouldn’t issue the refund Very sad to start our trip this wayOnline an hour later the room was back on for more than double what we were charged We did not book here again and went to another hotelI don’t know how to reply to your response But it was your hotel and we were not able to stay there It blew our trip expense out of the water if we were to rebook at your location Your whole system has not been a help at all
