My best friend and I stayed for the weekend for a concert in June We had a fabulous time! We got into town super late, the restaurant being open later really helped us out! I will say the tacos that I got there were pretty bland for my liking, but everything else was great The hotel is currently finishing some renovations with the rooms, they let us know at the desk that we got a renovated room

The room was sleek and very nice, the shower was probably the best part alongside the comfortable beds! In room dining was also very convenient for us while getting ready and getting back to the hotel late The hotel lobby also connects you to two shopping centers which we enjoyed exploring We will definitely be back!

Had a wonderful stay! Was here for work and enjoyed every minute The rooms are outdated but they were clean and comfortable and the staff were absolutely wonderful from housekeeping to the gentleman who checked me in / out I wish I could remember his name because he was very friendly and helpful! Also had a wonderful experience with the FedEx Business Center and that was super convenient in the hotel

Loved all of the restaurants and shops within walking distance Great location, would stay again!

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a hotel This website will compare thousands of booking websites and normally will have rooms a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of the most well known in the area

I have been coming here for years If you stay for a few nights you won’t be disappointedBeautiful views and beautiful building There’s 38 floors and 9 high-speed elevators Nice workout facility and indoor swimming pool doesn’t seem crowded No hot tub but the showers can double as baths I lived here for about a year as my college used a few floors for student housing (I know, nicest dorm ever) Never had a problem with staff or housekeeping Tip: park in the Copley Garage (which is attached to the building), don’t park in the Mariott’s self parking

My husband and I did a weekend getaway to Boston We chose this place because it had good reviews, looked nice and clean, and was central to all the attractions we wanted to go to I was disappointed when we arrived as I confirmed our our reservation when it was booked as well as the day before our arrival

I confirmed that it was a King nonsmoking room and that our arrival time would be between 8-9pm Everything was confirmed and we were very excited for our stay We arrived and the person checking us in said there were no more king rooms available! I told him how could it be possible that I reserved a king room, confirmed the day before and we show up and nothing is available They then suggested a queen room which contained separate beds for my husband and I to sleep in?! Crazy Finally after back and forth of not letting up about this reservation somehow they “magically” found one more king bedroom Also parking is $15 night, however there are not enough spots in the lot for all the guests We found this out after paying for parking, going out to dinner and when we arrived there was nowhere to park We could have parked in the lot next to the hotel for free Which we ended up having to park over there but didn’t get our money back for parking I highly recommend Triple confirming your reservation and taking the name down of the person you spoke to Although these two things happened at the beginning of our trip, we overall had a enjoyable experience The bedroom was very nice and clean The bed was comfortable, and they have really nice blackout curtains to sleep in Overall the facility itself was very nice and the weekend turned out great

Courtney Kehler

Place is clean and well kept Beds were comfortable The best part was the service

We had our flight cancelled and booked through a service the airline told us to use to get a “cancelled flight discount” Once we paid this third party they never booked the hotel room for us Edgar at the front desk managed to find us a room as quickly as he could ( jam packed with people and he was the only one working) I would absolutely stay here again Someone give Edgar a raise and some freaking assistance

Olga Iris colon

I booked a king size room and when I was checked in they put me in a standard double queen, they had over booked the hotel, the breakfast was $15 per person and the counter person said everything was fresh food When my son and I ate all the bread products were hard and old Apparently parking was not mentioned either and to top it off another$15 for the parking which was over crowded to begin with

Yes they have a pool BUT only 45min a day or could be used by signing in My son and I had to swim early in the morning because the pool was over booked as well The beds were kinda hard, the only thing I actually liked was the shower Other than that I would never recommend anyone to stay at the over priced hotel ever again

As an ex-consultant in my past life I’ve been loyal to the Marriott brands and have stayed at various Marriott properties This is a standout property and one of the top W locations in my opinion Jonathan helped check me into my room and I was so lucky to get to check in early after my red eye flight

The shower was extremely high pressure which felt amazing Whenever I needed something, it was delivered to my room promptly They are also offering breakfast credit at their restaurant for Platinum or higher members I really felt like my status was valued and would stay again on future travels to Boston

Sean Hunter

Great clean and modern rooms Mini bar on point The bed was really comfortable

Obviously that can be subjective but in my experience It was comfortable to me Bathroom was very clean and had a separate toilet room which is welcomeService was quick and prompt at valetThe lounge was excellent Posh and modern

Marcus Lewis

Exceptional! The W Boston is a wonderfully clean and friendly hotel located near Boston Common I was welcomed as an Ambassador Elite member and given a wonderful welcome gift The front desk staff is friendly and the bartenders are amazing! The restaurant is good but food quality could be improved a bit

The rooms are beautiful! The MOMO bath products are wonderful and the robes are comfortable I really enjoyed my stay and look forward to my return

I stayed here for a work conference The room was spacious and well set up for a business travelerI was in a handicapped access room due to some mobility issues I am facing and it was very well appointed to accommodate my needs

The bell staff were exemplary and helped make my stay comfortableIt is pricey, but not for where it isThe convention space was well kept and easy to navigate, with maps available

Frank Hernandez

We are a family of 4 here for vacation Location location is great The rooms were a little dusty

The beds were comfortable The cleaning staff was very nice They served starbucks coffee in the room The room was slightly outdated but for the most part clean The elevator was fast The little market downstairs in the lobby was expensive but that is expected The quick breakfast food did not taste good at all (breakfast burrito) I like that it is connected to the mall so you can shop if you want Overall, we have a wonderful stay Our room view was decent we were on the 24 floor I would stay here again if we come back to Boston

Vegan Moonchild

The staff is on point and what made the place worthy of a review

I didn’t sleep there so I can’t speak to the rooms However, based on the conference I attended – every staff member I encountered was professional, very focused on hospitality, friendly, and hardworking The conference was run on a tight schedule Drinks and snacks available constantly, everything cleaned up promptly

The location of this property was very good There are many restaurants nearby to dine I liked the complimentary breakfast in the mornings

There was plenty of parking We had a few things that needed attention when we first arrived and the staff addressed in a timely manner They seemed short staffed so patience is a virtue This location is near the train which loved to honk it’s horn I’d suggest earplugs or noise cancelling headphones I would definitely stay here again

Rachel McKnight

The front desk staff were really nice There’s continental breakfast which is nice, you don’t see that alot anymore Rooms were very spacious and nice

There wasn’t any silverware in the kitchenette though, so if you need forks or spoons, pick some plastic ones up This stay would have been much better had there been a shuttle to and from the airport That’s why we stayed so close to the airport, but the shuttles weren’t running

Christina Bucceri

The hotel and room were very spacious, clean, and comfortable Hotel was in a great location for us and parking was very convenient (although the $15/day fee for parking was a bit silly I don’t get why there is a fee for this ☹️)

The breakfast both days we were there was excellent Very good selection of hot and cold food Breakfast seating was also very niceThe only issue preventing a 5-star review was the drunk in our hallway beating on his room door and screaming at 3am on our last night there We called the front desk and they got him taken care of (but the music in his room played loudly for the rest of the night)

I’m SHOCKED at how good this hotel is! We had a stop over in Boston for 1 night so we booked here for a quick and cheap (about $140/night) hotel that offered free airport pick-up/drop off They picked us up within 20min of calling for a shuttle from the airport Check in was easy and reserving the next morning shuttle to airport was quick and painless

The basic room is beautiful with a full kitchen! The cherry on top was how FANCY the FREE breakfast is the next morning! Quiche, scones, breakfast sandwiches, fresh fruit, oatmeal with 20+ topping options I couldn’t believe it! I have stayed in many hotels over my years traveling and this is by far the best breakfast I’ve seen! Overall worth every penny and if we ever have a stop over here again we will be back!

Rebecca Landeros

Arrived in Boston at 11pm and the hotel shuttle driver was very kind and waited for us at the airportThe rooms are smaller than most TownePlace hotels The sofa bed was horrific

so very uncomfortable!! The regular bed was comfortable Most of the staff was very sweet and kind The lady working front desk when we arrived was either very tired or impaired because she wasn’t making sense Lucky the young guy working with her handled our check in Breakfast was not good One morning breakfast was a microwaved bean & beef burritoNOT my idea of breakfast Cocktail hour was good cocktails were priced fairly and bartender was niceI travel often and stay only at Marriott properties and I would Not stay at this hotel again I’d pay more for a better hotel

The Onyx hotel is in a decent location, as it is walking distance to local attractionsOur check in was simple, and the room was ready earlier than expected There were 4 of us staying in the room, which was extremely tight

The room and beds were small Even the window was extremely smallSome of the room amenities listed were not in the room as stated No mini bar And, we had to request a coffee makerThe room itself was fairly clean Except for the TV remote, which was filthy The disinfecting wipe used to clean the remote was blackParking was by valet only, which was $68 Way overpriced!Definitely did not live up to my expectations of a Hilton property Will not be staying there again

Andrew Cruz

The Onyx Boston was a very enjoyable stay We went there for one night to see a show and were greeted by an extremely friendly staff When we got into our room, it was very clean and cozy

The continental breakfast was pretty standard and I was slightly dissatisfied with the amenities There were no waters in our room which was pretty disappointing

Carrie Rexford

Stayed one night and very glad it was only one night Our room was tucked in the corner with view of heating/cooling equipment and the room across the way, very odd design for hotel While the staff was accommodating the vibe of the place was just strange

Rooms def in need of updates, not what I expect when I stay at a Hilton owned hotel Location was good, but not great Won’t be back And not worth the money/points used to stay

Pay for what you getPro: Nice ambiance Unlimited water bottles

Con:- the front desk is understaffed; the guy working was also at the bar entertaining a guest I called several times and then ended up coming downstairs to tell them we had ordered pizza-The exercise room is well equipped with decent equipment and towels, but no wipes I worked out at 11 pm and felt like there was sweat everywhere Also, I don’t know how this particular design was formulated but there is a door stop on the door so make sure you do not painfully stub your toe like me Why didn’t they put it on the wall?- don’t put your hotel room cards by your phone, it will demagnetize We had to reset several times- rooms were 8/10 clean Check your sheets and bring wipes I wiped down the counters and definitely picked up some stuck on funky gunkPro tip: park in back and request room facing back

Christopher White

Bed was not sanitary There were a couple brown stains that housekeeping just put thin sheets over to hide I left the room for the day with the stains showing to make it obvious to them but they just put sheets over it again

House keeping also didn’t replace our shampoo bottles There is no safe in the room for passports Transit is not great in this area, you’ll have to walk 15 minutes to get to a bus stop that can take you to downtown Boston On the plus side the rooms are furnished nicely, the bed is comfortable, and there is free parking, but I don’t know why this hotel has such a high price given the cleanliness

A great visit and hotel Every member of staff was so helpful and kind, going well beyond our expectations in fixing an issue not of their making That in of itself was so much appreciated

Special thanks to Kevin who as manager of the hotel could not have been of more assistance or understanding, and to Liz who also went above and beyond Our stay was flawless The coffees in the morning and glass of wine in evening were nice touches The location is also perfect for all the places you would want to visit We will stay again

Jamie Perez

The front desk staff is super polite and helpful The hotel itself is absolutely on par with the cost The location here is unbeatable, we’re central and equidistant from most attractions in Boston

Lots of good restaurants within walking distance The room is clean, marble shower with intense water pressure (just how I want it, it can be turned down) And out of the window, the view is fantastic!

Great location to stay at as it’s closer to all the touristy spots in BostonCheck in is at 3pm & checkout is at noonAs of July, 2022 – no breakfast services

Just coffee from 7-10am in the morning and during evening there’s a wine hour from 5-6pmThe rooms are spacious, interesting decor with 90 theme The room did have lot of dust when we checked in Amenities includes bath towels, toiletries, bathrobes, hair dryer, iron box and safety case However, it would be nice to have at-least a few water-bottles provided for each room, for free and not cost $8Check-in& Check-out was easy They do have a bike that one can rent out for free to explore Boston

This hotel was clean, modern, and quiet The room I had was spotlessThe location is great for the restaurants and shopping nearby, easily traveled by foot if you don’t have a car

The front desk assistant was helpfulWould definitely stay here again

Ashleigh Hinstridge

Stayed here overnight after a transatlantic flight from London Hotel was exactly what I wanted for a quick stay – clean, quiet and well located I took the silver line to the hotel and walked, you can cut through the Market Basket parking lot to make it a slightly faster walk!Only slight downside was that you can hear some airplane noise through the windows but it really didn’t stop me sleeping or affect me in any way

Breakfast was the standard Hampton breakfast, make of that comment what you want 😉

Katie Pollard

Do NOT book a room at this Hampton Inn! This is easily one of the worst experiences I have had at a Hampton Inn, and I just barely checked in To be fair, they did allow me to check in 2 hours early The problem is that they did not tell me that I would be stuck in an accessible room, which I have no need for

Also I definitely did NOT request an accessible room upon booking When I asked if there was a non-accessible room available, I was told there was not I was told that they have had to make several rooms unavailable due to issues with the rooms I decided to accept the accessible room I was placed in Well in the bathroom there are two lights on either side of the mirror over the sink Only one of those lights actually works The floor in the bathroom feels grimy and sticky This hotel just opened in 2020!! How is a hotel that is this new having so many problems? I will absolutely never book a stay at this hotel again should I find myself with reason to return to Boston!

While the hotel, aesthetically, is very beautiful that’s where the positives endsThe EV charging station is nonfunctional and has been for months: they have no intentions of repairing it either They’re still fine with charging you $15 for parking however

Classy Check-in was at 3 and only one room was ready, forcing myself and my guests to move around our plans to accommodateWhile I previously have had nothing but overwhelmingly positive experiences staying at Homewood Suites this experience was far from that 5 star hotel, with 1 star service

Varrun Phanda

Clean hotel and roomsGood amenities – Free breakfast, Gym, swimming pool, PAID parking($15)Breakfast is really nice with good options for vegetarians as well – Veggie patty, Breads, Bagels, Oatmeal, Oats, Juices, Fruits, Coffee etcCons: Location is isolated and not good for nights And location not that good for travelling to downtown or other Boston tourist places The station is little far – you have to park your car at station or take uber

Nicole Aljets

Booked this hotel online for an overnight stay in Boston Front desk staff very rude and inconsiderate We turned around and walked back out and booked our stay somewhere else

We have stayed in Hilton’s for years and this was by far one of the worst experiences we’ve had Looking at other reviews, I see we’re not alone Two pieces of advice: #1 Don’t stay here #2 If you do stay here and have a bad experience, definitely take the time to let Hilton corporate know what a horrible representation this place is of the Hilton brand

The staff is great in some areas such as the wait staff, cleaning and customer care but the staff on the floor could use more training in customer service and hospitality You will find most table games to be full on a Friday or Saturday but on any other day you can find a seat at most tables I recommend the high roller area depending on how you play The slots are definitely top of the line and a lot of fun (if you’re one of those people who just loves throwing $100 bills in the trash) with a wide variety to choose from Dining is definitely a 5 star experience All of the restaurants are large portions and priced fairly for a casino There aren’t a ton of amenities like Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun such as pools and steam rooms go but they do have a very well trained massage and spa staff which can be great after a long run I would recommend planning out your stay rather than just going with no reservation Overall I give Encore 4 stars out of 5 and besides a few very small things, closer to a 45 I hope you enjoy your day, night or stay here as much as I do

This casino is absolutely gorgeous! I’ve been to many casinos all over the country and in my eyes this easily compares to the best of themI only visited for a few hours, but was impressed with the size, layout and offerings found here Lots of table games (they were packed so the limits were a bit high for me) tons of slots, a sports book and bar and several restaurants from quick service to fine dining

Parking was free (apparently that was a point of contention for a while?) and plentiful in the garage below the casino with elevators straight to the casino It was refreshing to be in a non-smoking casino—that was a first for meService seemed to be easy to find, though I don’t drink so I didn’t need a server for anything I did see them walking by quite a bit, and several asked if I needed anythingNow I did get the luckiest I’ve ever been in my life with slots–which is not the norm by any means, so it helps that I left way up, but as always I started with a budget If you’re going to gamble be smart, plan on losing and never gamble more than you can afford to lose Have fun! Should be easy in such a nice place!

The rooms are just incredible Luxury, luxury, luxury Everything is high quality, smart-connected, clean, comfortable

The bathroom is enormous, especially the soaking tub The bed I didn’t want to go back to my own bed after sleeping on that thing Best night of sleep I’ve had in months This was my second stay and we opted to spend an extra $40 for a harbor view and it was 100% worth it Watching the sun set over the city and the water is magical Service is fantastic, though of course the minibar and room service are very expensive But there’s a free water taxi that can take you downtown!Even if you aren’t a gambler and don’t care for the casino, check out the hotel It’s wonderful

Hotel was very clean and our room had a very nice view The bed was comfortable and I enjoyed the large bath tub It was centrally located and valet very convenient

The bellboys were helpful There were a couple of things like no coffee in the rooms so had to go on a coffee hunt downstairs The valet guys downstairs were not overly friendly The room service was good but the restaurant not downstairs for breakfast was not very good, I returned a very greasy sausage link breakfast Otherwise staff was professional and hotel was safe Also the food recommendation to try Italian food next door was disappointingFor the price will probably elect to stay elsewhere when returning to Boston

Wonderful reception at check in — greeted so graciously, which made all the difference after a hard day of traveling Room has a great view of the Boston Harbor and fantastic bathroom with a sparkling clean tub and walk in shower Floor is tiled and bedroom part of the room is carpeted

Bed is absolutely comfortable Lots to explore— harbor is accessible by walking through the hotel lobby and out the back Loved this place

We had a wedding block at the Intercontinental and had the best experience possible The staff were so friendly and welcoming and we felt like they took the time to get to know us and our wedding guests On the day of our wedding, they even helped us when we had an unexpected weather snafu

Our guests really enjoyed the various restaurants and bars within the hotel and the room service was great too This hotel is also a prime location and our guests enjoyed how easy it was to explore Boston from this point My husband and I look forward to staying there again on our anniversary!

First the parking I don’t agree with paying that much for parking on top of the room We did 50

00(per day) valet parking since it made more sense When we booked the trip this parking fee was not mentioned Which was an unexpected expenseThe sheets had holes and stains The computer chair in our room also had white stains… wall paper was peeling all around the hotel Shower curtain was kinda gross looking The towels were rough and seemed cheapValet was sleeping in the office when we came down to get our car, had to tap on the window to wake them upThe harbor view mostly had construction and city views not much of the harbor even though we should’ve had a harbor viewThe rooms do connect here so you will have an extra door in your room Which we didn’t like for many reasonsI will not be Recommending this hotel to anyoneI did like the App which was easy to use

Check-in could have been better We had requested a feather free handicap accessible room, but ended up having to choose between one or the other at check-in We chose the accessible room since one person traveling with us uses both a walker and wheelchair

The room was not as well laid out as most accessible rooms we have stayed in have beenThe main issue was the constant reek of pot during the entire stay We we’re traveling with two children and reported the issue right after check-in The entire facility is supposed to be non-smoking but the entire hallway on our floor was disgustingly thick with the stench of pot the entire stay even after multiple calls to the front desk and speaking with security It was all day long and nauseating On our last night there, the hotel offered to move us to another floor, but it was 5:30pm on our last night and we were about to leave for dinner so spending the 30-40 mins it would have taken to move everything wasn’t feasible at that pointThe best part of the stay was the Starbucks in part of the hotel The staff of that facility was amazing They handled insane crowds and groups efficiently, pleasantly, and quickly

Dianna Stampfler

Selected this hotel due to its proximity to the harbor and lower cost (than other properties), using my AAA discount Just prior to arrival, I read several negative reviews and was nervous about what to expect at that point Yes, our views of downtown also show a lot of construction — but that hardly is the hotel’s fault

Valet was $50 per nightjust $11 more than self-park per nightso in the big scheme of things, not so bad Comparable with other larger cities Room was spacious, bed and sheets were comfy, shower was great (solid pressure and good heat), and the AC was able to cool the room down (some hotels limit this to 65 degrees) Someone also mentioned that the room wasn’t made up by housekeeping daily – and I’m not sure how it is in Boston, but everywhere we’ve traveled since March 2020 has limited this due to COVID (less contact and reduced staff) Prices in general on the east coast are higher than the Midwest (where we are from) but this hotel is comparable in price to what is charged in Grand Rapids or Detroit (Michigan)

A truly great hotel experience Check in was a breeze The room was clean and cleaned very well daily by housekeeping

An additional robe and slippers were brought within 10 minutes of calling Daily bottles of water and refreshing of complimentary snacks was nice The room was very quiet from both the street and other rooms The blackout curtains do their job well The extremely accurate and responsive digital thermostat is a welcome change from many places as well as the ultra silent a/cAlthough I prefer a firmer bed, it was surprisingly comfortable The only real nitpicky complaint was lack of hook(s) in the bathroomOverall, the staff was great and the coffee place next door as wellConsidering the plethora of hotel choices, the odds of getting a better one will probably mean paying a lot more as wellI’ll strongly consider staying here again the next time I visit Boston

This hotel is recommended by our colleagues I love the location as everything is in walking distance from the hotel There is daily housekeeping

As a matter of fact housekeeping come in and fill ice for us every evening If I didn’t have to work during weekday, I would have enjoyed all the summer events more Definitely recommend this hotel I’ll update with more photos later

Chris Davis

My wife and I were married here 32 years ago when it first opened and it was spectacular We returned last week to have a drink at the terrace restaurant and after checking in and waiting for our table to be cleared, the host came back and told us that we had to order dinner not just drinks to be able to sit outside He asked if we were going to order food and we said not after this experience and left

Terrible customer service for what was once a great hotel

Celia Pearce

Summer in the City at the Harborwalk Terrace – Sitting outside with a view of the harbor listening to good music was great; food was delicious but overpriced, the staff is super nice but overworked The hotel is apparently too cheap to keep the venue properly staffed when they have a promoted weekly event they know will be crowded, which is a shame because it made an otherwise nice experience unnecessarily frustrating Considering this is an allegedly “posh” with a room rate of $700 + you’d think they could afford to adequately staff the event

Stayed here for a week on a business trip It’s a new hotel with modern rooms and amenities The location was great

Just opposite to the Convention Center and a short walk from downtown Really loved the floor to ceiling windows which I don’t get at every hotel And the rooms were cleaned thoroughly every day The only slightly negative point I can think of was the water pressure That could have been a bit better

Brandon Losover

Cannot say enough great things about this hotel I booked this for my one year wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint The hotel made arrangements to see to it that it was special for us

The front desk staff was very friendly and quick to check us inThere is a cafe in the lobby called Cocorico that has amazing pastries and gourmet coffee The pool area is also wonderful and is attached to a pool bar that overlooks the downtown areaThe room was very clean and spacious, anything we needed was a call away and came to us immediately The area itself was also in a great location Very walkable to downtown and south BostonWill definitely be back!

Sara Hottman

Lovely hotel and great location for the airport and ferry We wanted a nice room with easy access to services for an overnighter, and this was perfect The room was gorgeous and very comfortable, the shower was amazing, and the food was tasty (and the bartender at the sports bar made us a mystery cocktail based on our tastes, and it was delicious!)

Would be a perfect 5, but the staff was totally fine — not exceptional but perfectly good — and the carpet could’ve used an extra vacuum and we found a swim cap from a previous guest by the bedside table But the surfaces, bed, couch and bathroom were all cleanOverall, highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay here, my room was spotless clean I mean there was not a speck of dust or a hair to be seen The front desk employees were so friendly and helpful

The breakfast was great, lots of options to choose from Although I didn’t use it, there was a heated pool that looked really nice Would absolutely stay again, and I highly recommend anyone to book

Mrs Carley

Best hotel I’ve stayed at in a while The rooms are large and have great conveniences 1) Keurig 2) Large Walk in Shower 3) Lots of storage for your clothing as well as in the bathroom for your toiletries

The bar downstairs is nice The laundry facilities are great! Everything is super clean The maids, although they don’t speak English (I used my phone to translate) are AMAZING! The sweetest people The front desk staff is iffy There are 2 nice women who work there and the rest aren’t friendly The building is highly secured You need a key to go to any of the room levels They are pet friendly which is a bonus It’s quiet and comfortable I didn’t want to go home! The breakfast served in the morning is actually quite good but I’d watch the people around you One guy got fruit and then when he thought no one was watching, he stuck the fork he was eating off of back into the fruit bowl and started picking and eating out of it Disgusting! I would stay here again for sure!
