We’ve stayed here a couple of times The condo rooms are very nice The houses are nice for large families especially the ones with their own pool

There’s plenty to do There are several nice pools, a lake, and a putt putt course It’s a great place for kids and adults We stayed with family on their time share Otherwise I don’t know details about staying here

Nayeli Gonzalez

Really great hotel stay, I was worried it would be terrible from the other reviews but don’t let them fool you The room was clean and the towel were also super clean They have pools that are open quite late and kids can be there the alcohol drinks are also really good

Disney fireworks can also be seen from the back There’s zip lining everything overall a great stay and you can also get complimentary breakfast The front desk was amazing as well very nice guy and super helpful

Melanie Pendergrass

The rooms were overall nice and clean, we did have a 🪳 sitting on our toothbrush in the middle of the night though So we had to purchase a new one We also did a late night swim in which we were the only ones at the pool one night (pool by the welcome center), the only other person we saw come through was the pool keeper who was cleaning and moving chairs

Needless to say my husband left with no Reef flip flops because they went missing and were never turned in We never even left the pool area without them So definitely be vigilant of ALL of your stuff on this property even around the workers who you should be able to trust The pools were nice Food at Big Kahunas was good The trust issue and the 🪳 are the two big mark downs The lady who we reported the missing shoes to in the check in building was very nice We did sit through a timeshare presentation, the room in which everyone was sitting for their presentation was very loud and distracting, every presenter we’ve sat through (other properties as well) use an aggressive approach so just be aware This approach doesn’t work with us and we have experienced it 3 times total so a recommendation is to use a diff approach potentially because it doesn’t work with everyone, maybe feel out your potential buyers better

This is located close to multiple restaurants and shopping centers For quick last minute items, Target is conveniently located across the street Easy access to main roads makes it very convenient

The hotel was clean Staff was professional and helpful We enjoyed the oversized pool and hot tub Loved the ping pong table!I would definitely come here again!

See Moua

Firstly, the best part about this place is location It’s close to Disney without being on a Disney resort and Target is literally across the street in case you need something Secondly, the rooms were clean

Thirdly, the Continental breakfast was decent, IDK why some people expect a Michelin Star breakfast Fourth, customer service from everyone was great The only negative IMO it’s the shower, the water pressure was too low The tiny spray made showering 2x longer

Julia Cobb

Love this hotel!! I just stayed here for the second time and I truly love it! There is a gorgeous pool, lovely beds and even a coffee shop downstairs that serves Starbucks drinks! The customer service is always excellent My only complaint is that the shower water pressure is very poor Other than that – we love this Springhill suites! ☺️

My wife and I had a great stay We stayed from Wednesday 5/11 through Monday 5/16 The staff was very courteous

My wife and I had an evening flight home and were going to spend some time with our grandkids who lived nearby before heading back to the airport for our evening flight home Unfortunately, we got a call from our son, in the morning, who said our grandkids were sick and had to go to the doctor So my wife and I were not able to visit them I was concerned that my wife and I would have to spend 8 hours at the airport waiting for our return home I called the front desk and spoke to Giselle and told her our situation She was super accommodating and we were able to stay at the hotel a few hours past normal checkout time so we would not be stuck waiting at the airport for many hours My wife and I are truly grateful for Giselle’s customer service and being so accommodating My wife and I will definitely stay at this hotel again when visiting our family in the future Carmen and David P

Overall it is a decent place to stay Located near good food and Disney I do feel that the staff should inform the guest that if you’re going to stay less than 5 days they will not provide new towels but to wash the ones you already have in your room

Also, the showers could be cleaned better I found hair from the previous occupants in the shower and it was a lot The floors (carpet) were very dirty Maybe try shampooing them every so often

Torrey Lindemann

Fantastic for Family Disney trips!!! We’ve been going to Disney for years and usually stayed on property But the 3 kids are bigger now and Disney rates are rising At the Berkley we got a 3 Room suite with a full kitchen, LR, patio and 3 full bathrooms!!! Two of those bathrooms had jacuzzi tubs and separate showers

Everything was clean and beautiful All the rooms were spacious Seriously next level and priced similar to a single room at D where the kids had to share a bedConvenient parking, gated resort with a pool 15 min drive to all the Disney parks which is as close as you can getWe will definitely be back

KELLY LONG

Hotel was nice, it was clean Free wifi was nice seeing that our cell phones didn’t work in the area 2 bedroom was big enough for 3

Was a little disappointed after going to the front desk twice to let them know the King room had a double bed not a king She says email the manager you confirmation, for what never got a response Let’s just say 1 of us had to sleep on the pull out couch Wasn’t any more comfortable than the beds

Our one bedroom condo was very nice and had all the comforts of home and then some The spa bathtub was an excellent feature We also enjoyed a lot of time out on our balcony as it was completely screened in and had a ceiling fan

The food at the Bar and Grill at the resort was excellent as well The game room was also well equipped and a lot of fun I would absolutely stay there again

Scott and Tracy Zietlow

Room awesome Pool options, awesome Pool bar really good

Location awesomeOur room (2 bedroom) was connected to my parents (1 bedroom) We had a full kitchen with plenty of cookware and glassware The living room area was large and couches comfortable The beds were nice and we slept well One bath had a whirlpool tub with separate shower The screened balconies were greatThe different pools were busy but did not feel too crowded Kids could throw balls back in forth or splash each other without affecting other guestsThe snack shop came in handy a couple of times The pool bar had good drinks and good bar food The bar tender was friendly and helpfulMy 9 year old has already requested that we stay here the next time we go to Florida

Cheator McNeill

The resort is beautiful and the rooms are spacious, however there were just a few things i had an issue with My family and I checked in on Wednesday and checked out today When we first arrived we were initially given a room and when we went to the room, the room was occupied

Went back to the front desk and they gave us another room, however that room was also occupied which at that point was really frustrating after driving all day to get to Florida Finally on the 3rd try, they upgraded us to a 2 bedroom suite for our “troubles”The rooms are nice and had everything an apartment would have The furniture is a bit dated, but everything was well stocked The pools are clean and big The fitness room was clean and had really good equipment and a sauna The game room was a good size for the children but it does cost money to buy tokens to use on the games The bar was cool and there was a store that had milk, bread, cereal, etc All in all, the resort is a nice place

We’ve stayed at Oakland Manor House numerous times Its proximity to Orlando is nice and has the ability to feel like you’re at home The home is a historic mansion and has an awesome history that the owner purposely kept intact so that those who visit and stay understand the history of this mansion

There are 2 separate kitchens and housekeeping kept me & my family stocked on the essentials We walked to the dock every night It’s a little piece of FL that has remained the same For those that want frills and commercial-style lodging with an ice machine, stay in town but if you want a genuine, history laden location with true charm–stay here!

Bianca DuPont

The place is infested with ants It is run down There is no working ice mash one

The chairs in the coffee nook are falling apart and the stemwear leaks it is ikea old stuffAnts in the pantry, kitchen bedrooms porch upstairs – they are living I The wallsYou can easily hear the person staying In the innkeepers suite These glowing reviews below are so so old!The tree in front of the property is dead this is a massive oak Neighbor next door biker club shooting off air rifles Backyard which was supposed to be good for pets is a dump site, the garden off the grace room is the same way There is no grass just gravel and weeds Stay interrupted by “emergency “ workers who were called days before we checked in yet the work didn’t happen until five days later some emergency!! Loud and disturbing we left to work at the library! No tv connection and we had to carry the tv from the sun room into the house Old linens which had ants so we stripped the beds and put our own on and then we were accused of damaging this moth eaten bedspreadAnnoying security lights (yellow) which for some reaso were on a couple nights Could not shut them out as the blinds didn’t close I That room Shower heads clogged A c unit I Grace suite very noisy as was the ceiling fan Water pouring from the ceiling and puddling on the floor damaged our property Water sealing from the walls!! Owner a bit demented as well I never spoke to her but she claimed Some pretty defaming throngs about me after I asked air bnb for a refund Look at the limited nimrod reviews before you agree to rent at this s holeAudrey minion appeared on property several times without telling us first She upset my service dog which is weird he is trained to smell drugs and he went off on her Owners acknowledged ants coming out of the electrical sockets in the kitchenIt’s a mess no attention has been paid to this smelly property in years

Audrey Ukena

Response to the fake name that described The Oakland Manor as an ant invested, walls seeping, damage to property lady you are violating the true rights of people to leave a legitimate review about a place

You are not who you say you are and you are only trying to degrade an honest business only to gain some sort of notoriety or compensation for your own personal losses in your own lifePlease do not bring fake comments into an honest review area, you are insulting ALL of us who need a truth worthy commentary Please consider this “whatever her name is” untrustworthy and very dishonestThankU

I had an amazing five day stay at this resort ! Everything from the pools to the room service was fantastic Staff was very friendly and quick to bring extra towels The resorts amount of activities was enough for an entire day to stay occupied

Denny’s breakfast discount takes $8 off/per person, which was my biggest question but quickly resolved with Denny’s I would totally go back and recommend this place to anyone traveling Thanks for such a wonderful stay ! I would love to visit again

Zayra Belfort

Arriving at the hotel, I was supposed to attend a talk and they would give me $150 It turns out that I am single (they knew it at the time of my reservation) and I am not entitled to the tour because I do not have a partner The first day, they did not clean our room

The second day, they made the beds and threw out the trash but didn’t put out the towels And today, which is the last night here, when I arrived at 12:15 am, the room key did not open the room and I had to go in the car to the clubhouse to have the key reprogrammed The worst thing is that this morning before leaving for the Parks, I spoke at the reception to claim the towels and make sure everything was going to be fine and this was the result After 10pm, there is no one at the hotel reception The worst service I have received in the last 10 years I had to put a star because I had no other choice Think twice before coming here I do not recommend it at all

Jonathan Craig

The elevator, like the keys to our room, only worked sometimes TV was small Maid service was okay

Water came in under the door in the stairwell The room was smelly and muggy, so I tried to take a cold shower I couldn’t get even a cool shower The shower water was too hot The exhaust vent in the bathroom did not work well at all The fridge worked, but not the freezer part The coffee came out watery in the room Maybe I did it wrong

Excellent Disney resort I like that the hotel had its own individual sections rather than one single building The pool was really good actually

The beach although artificial was still interesting to look at This resort is also just a boat ride from Magic Kingdom also so it’s very convenient as well This is a nice resort and I wouldn’t mind staying here again at some point

Elizabeth Tate

For the most premium resort at Disney, this place lives up to expectations without being uncomfortable I’ve been to Ritz Carlton’s in the past, and that’s what this feels like without everybody dressed like they are utterly perfect all the time Everybody at this place is normal 🙌🏻The employees are fun to talk to, the food is great, and the front desk goes above and beyond to figure out reservation and ticket problems

Everybody is super sweet, and we met multiple people that said they have been working there for the past 20 years which spoke to a positive workplace experiencePerfect for kids, perfect for adults, what more could you ask for?!

Bryan Jasin

We enjoyed our stay here at the Grand Floridian First and foremost it feels a tad dated and old You get the sense it needs a facelift but still classic

Many food options with varying price points It’s great to be right on the monorail as well My girls loved all the pools Cast was very helpful and attentive We ate at 2 of the on property restaurants and service was slow

Charm Stone

We love this hotel It is an excellent location located close to Disney and Disney Springs area The many pools that you can take advantage of are incredible

There are lazy rivers, slides and kiddie splash areas, along with quite a few regular pool areas This is a great resort for families The restaurants are good value and quite simply you never have to leave It has everything you need right there There are shuttle buses to take you to Disney Parks or Disney Springs We didn’t take advantage We drove to Disney Springs Every employee we came in contact with was extremely professional and friendly Don’t hesitate to visit We have been twice and will definitely visit again

Bri

Gerald at the front desk is exceptional! The rooms were very very clean Nice that they have several pools and 2 lazy rivers, mini golf AND you can see the Epcot fireworks from the back of the hotel Overall great experience

Be aware though that whatever your booking price is there will be resort fees and you will have to pay for parking, so it will end up being more than the initial booking fee (however, I think it’s still worth it)You are able to walk around the property and lake and see turtles and giant carp which we also found neat

I only stayed 1 night but the service was fantastic I walked into the room and I could smell the freshness of the room Completely spotless

I felt very comfortable in the room knowing about all the airborne illnesses going around I can say this place is on top of their game Thank you for making me feel safe and confident in my choice of hotels

Ace Phillips

When first arrived, the receptionist was rather unfriendly and seemed bothered to be of any help The second lady, however–I believe her name was Victoria and was some sort of manager–was understanding and direct The rooms are very modern, the TV selection is great, but the sheets and pillows appeared dirty

Breakfast was pretty good too for a hotel Overall, a pretty good experience, although there’s a Marriott not too far with better service and cleaner beds (but it won’t be as modern)

Ashley

I checked in 4/10/22 between 8:30-9pm It was a very unpleasant experience I have a service animal

Not only did the lady at the front desk ( she wore glasses) ask WHAT MY DISABILITY IS, but she also asked if they had documentation, Per the ADA 2010 revisions: When it is not obvious what service an animal provides, only limited inquiries are allowed Staff may ask two questions: (1) is the dog a service animal required because of a disability, and (2) what work or task has the dog been trained to perform Staff cannot ask about the person’s disability, require medical documentation, require a special identification card or training documentation for the dog, or ask that the dog demonstrate its ability to perform the work or task Then she wanted a paper signed for a $75 fee per pet, saying she would “ waive the fee” but no signature was put on said paper stating they would “waive the fee”With ANY service animal you do NOT have to pay any “pet fees” as they are NOT a pet Maybe the front desk lady needs to be trained on what’s allowed to be asked when dealing with service animals Highly unacceptable to ask anyone what their disability is and for documentation for their service animal Other than the unprofessional desk attendant, the room seems to be very clean and so far quietIf any management contacts me, I’ll be glad to update my rating as the rooms are clean it’s the staff that was very unpleasant

Lovely resort, beautiful courses, good food, incredibly friendly staff, and a very big room with a lot of amenities On the down side: expensive and the decor was very dated They had announced that they were undergoing a renovation shortly after my visit, though, and my assumption is that the renovated rooms are going to be amazing– the rest of the operations were top notch

Staying here may be pricier than others in Orlando, but so worth it! The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are impressive, and the pool area is above and beyond! They let us check in extra early, got a free upgrade to king, and were accommodating when we had a family emergency and had to check out a day early Be sure to make time for the pool, it has a lazy River where you can float your stress away If you need a little more, the servers in the pool area are awesome!

Eve Brannon

Love this hotel Convenient to Disney parks and very nice inside The pool was heated and the man restaurant and bar is open to outside

The rooms were clean and updated The only issue we had was that our room was at the very end of the building this building is huge! It was a 5 minute walk once getting off the elevator But overall a great stay with great staff

Liam Chamberlain

Honestly, I would have given it a 25* if that was possible Comparing this to a universal (3* resort), this is wayyyy worse! The service from the staff in the hotel from start to finish has been poor! We had to ask twice for our room to be cleaned…

this didn’t happen until day 5 of our 7 night stay and still that didn’t really happen, one bed made and the other not We had to ask for new towels Before they hadn’t supplied, no water or anything until we demanded in reception Nobody seems bothered, a lack of enthusiasm and willingness to help We had to wait 30 minutes for the bell person to come along for our bag storage? Why?Wouldn’t recommend to be honest I don’t think it’s worth the money at all…and to top it off we were charged $350 resort charge at the end of the stay which we had no idea about 🤦🏼‍♂️The only positive I have to stay, it’s some of the bar staff in the pool bar are lovely Apart from that…wouldn’t consider returningOverall this hotel represents poor service, expensive and a wasted opportunity for what could be amazing! 🤷🏼‍♂️

Overnight stay to celebrate a friends’ child’s birthday The facility and staff were very accommodating for our large group with more kids than adults The poor area was clean and fun for all ages

Best part of the trip was a great poolside attendant named Jersey She was attentive, hospitable, kind to the kids and overall a huge blessing during our stay The only downside of the whole experience was not giving her a big tip before the end of her shift We will definitely come back to visit, and hopefully see the same personable staff again

We stayed here for 3 nights with the kids Great family vacation resort Seemed like they were short staffed at the pools for service, even on the 2 days we had the cabana

Still had a great time We had dinner at Old Hickory one night, and the service was amazing Then at the lobby restaurant another night, also great service This resort is best for families with small kids We would go back

This resort tries to be Vegas worthy but fails spectacularly The best part about this resort is the pool and indoor forest area The rest needs much better management

First, our room was never cleaned, even though I called twice per day asking for it At over $300/night, that’s insane Additionally, there’s about 700 chairs by the pool (not exaggerated, they’re numbered so they can be reserved), but only 2 bartenders at the poolside restaurant, making it impossible to get food or drinks This problem is resort-wide We tried to get lunch around 2 pm and even though restaurants had open seats, wait times were 30 to 45 minutes It’s absurd for $300/night to not be able to buy lunch at any of the 4 (5?) restaurants Don’t go to the tapas place, everything is priced like the entrees at other restaurants, so you’re just throwing away money We got 3 tapas, 4 drinks, and a dessert and the bill was over $150, almost $200 I can’t stress enough how awful this resorts dining is handled

We are just returning from a 5 night stay at The Grove It was a terrible experience Listed are the reasons we will never return Hope to give someone insight that I didn’t have when booking

1 The mattresses had no mattress protectors This in itself is absolutely disgusting2 We ran out of toilet paper two times and had to wait for “room service” Thank goodness there were no emergencies, because help was hard to find3 Had to call for towels on multiple occasions We had just come home from the parks and all I wanted was a shower and bed When we returned to the room there were no towels I had to wait, exhausted for someone to bring them up4 There was no staff to clean the pool areas Around the pool deck there was trash On many occasions the staff just walked by One time my husband and I even witnessed someone walk by a heap of pretzels with a dustpan in hand At this point my husband and I had enough and checked out the next day5 There was no one skimming the pool or checking the chlorine It may be going on behind the scenes, but having experience with pool care, it would be nice to see an active chlorine check6 The food was terrible The salsa seemed to be pasta sauce with some seasoningI was so very disappointed as this is the only FL vacation my family and I take all year We were trying to save money, but it wasn’t worth it There is a reason the prices are affordableHoping this helps others when making a decision

Nothing fancy, but resort was new and easy I recommend I liked that it felt like it was in the middle of nowhere because of all the trees, even though it is only a few miles from Disney

And I liked that we could park our car on the same level, then just walk a few feet to our room My kids loved the water slides and pools and surfing and the arcadeThe rooms are basic but were bigger than I expected, and I liked that they have 2 desks and a large table for anyone that needs to do remote work or school work I also liked that the balcony had a screen so we could leave the doors open and not worry about bugsStaff was very helpful and accommodating Breakfast at Valencia was excellent

We had a great stay March 5-9, 2022 Our 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom unit was perfect for our family traveling with 2 teens and grandparents (6 total) We couldn’t believe how warm the pool water was in early March

A lot of hotels heat the pools, but then still feel too cold for adults to enjoy The pools were perfect and walk-right-in temps! We enjoyed the giant pool and lazy river at the water park, as well as the poolside bar My teen loved the flow rider Disney parks were an easy commute I loved the beautiful palm tree lined road to the resort entrance, especially at night all lit up Great trip!

The enjoyable things about this golf day was the starter and the great quality of this course That being said, I will never return to this golf course The gentleman who runs the clubhouse, Vince is by far the rudest individual I’ve met

I play golf 4 times a month minimum and have never had someone talk to me the way he did He rolled his eyes as if I were a bother to him and was raising his voice when I had a question about the charges that I thought I paid online I asked him to speak politely Lastly, I watched his interaction with some gentlemen before me and he was very nice and all smiles with them All I can say is that the only difference from them and me is that I am not white and they were From the moment I walked up to him he had an attitude I will never play there again and will never recommend this course to anyone all because of the rudeness of Vince!!

Unbelievable golf and a hidden gem The other poor ratings will mention the construction However, the construction will not be forever and when it’s finished it will be the best stay and play in Orlando

We played the private course and it was in immaculate shape The fairways were cut tight and the greens were rolling 🤩 if you visit before the construction, you will need to ask for directions to each tee The par 3 island green was difficult but fun and the front 9 was significantly harder than the back Highly recommend this course

Todd David

Until the construction is done, find another place to play First the positives: the staff is very nice and the course condition is good But there is so much construction going on in the overall complex that it’s a bit like a war zone

Also, no amenities, not even water, provided as part of the fee Note that it’s a very different type of lay-out: links in style of St Andrews One could really use a caddie or detailed hole by hole guidance , but neither was provided

While I had issues with no bellmen or woman or carts being available making a pair of 65 year lug everything upstairs Everything is what you would expect for this high end resort I will say what put them at 5 stars is the service recovery provided There were no freebies given nor requested

The manager called me less than 10 minites after I completed the issue form and took ownershi of the issue

Great proximity to the Disney parks The staff was very friendly The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfy

Really enjoyed the modern showers Breakfast was basic but good The Mickey waffles are a fun touch Parking was easy and free but if you arrive late you may have to park in the upper floors of the garage which wasn’t a big deal for us I’d recommend 100% and will most likely go back at some point

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel One of my best staying in Orlando in recent memories We booked through the Good Neighbor Hotel deal with Disney, which included park tickets

Everyone at this hotel was so helpful and pleasant Truly some of the best hotel team members I’ve ever interacted with The hotel is beautiful Rooms are sufficient for a family of four The free hot breakfast was delicious and well serviced The locations to the parks was really convenient with the cut across Parking at the hotel was really easy My child loved the pool Honestly, enjoyed every minute of our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

Taylor Kasnik

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! At first I was really bummed we weren’t staying on Disney property but honestly I’m so happy where we ended up We had only a 10-ish minute drive to each park and it was a breeze

not to mention, staying away from all the craziness was a perk, too! The check-in process was so simple and the staff was super nice/helpful Our room was spotless and the beds were so comfy after a day of travel We were super excited to learn our pool had a cabana with food and drinks that was open until 10pm! Their breakfast was THE BEST hotel breakfast I ever had and honestly, I’m not even doing it justice by calling it that The food choices were great, the food was hot, and they kept up on refilling and cleaning the area regularly We already said this will be our designated hotel for Disney stays!

Alright So let’s start with a review of the water park My kids had a great time

It was really fun for kids of all agesThe rooms are also very nice and roomy Unfortunately, however, the cleanliness leaves much to be desired The floors made our feet black within minutes of taking our shoes off, the sofa bed was so dirty and stained Had loose food and hair on itIt was an overall good experience, but will not be back

Kaylee Cruz

From check-in to check-out, we had such a great time and experience The Front Desk staff was amazing and welcoming The security guards were so friendly

We had a three bedroom (adjoining room) and it was nice and clean, had everything we needed The staff at the bar were great as well and the pool for the kids was kept up nicely and the lifeguards were very attentive We absolutely enjoyed our stay and cannot wait till our next visit!

Esa Loca

This place is a bit dated Rooms definitely need to be upgraded We had a one bedroom

The room in the bedroom was comfy but the pillows were not The pull out sofa was very hard and stained Maintenance did come by after I reported the sofa bed and they laid a brand new mattress on top of the sofa bed We weren’t able to close it the remainder of the stay but it was a good night’s sleep The lagoon area was nice and we enjoyed it They definitely need more umbrellas out there Overall it’s good for the price and the staff was all very welcoming and attentive
