this was a great hotel Only stayed two nights so we didn’t get to use the amenities but the pool & hot tub looked great & the inside of the hotel was clean The bed was comfortable & the rooms were in good condition

Nothing too fancy but definitely does job if you’re just out exploring all day Room service was friendly They have a Starbucks right in the lobby along with a bar & restaurant Would stay here again!

Alex Cuevas

This is my default hotel that I go to when I’m in the area They charge a lot for the parking which doesn’t seem to make sense but I guess it’s pretty standard They have a nice bar and they have a nice pool

The rooms are standard that I have experience for the Hilton brand It’s not a super fancy hotel but it’s a good place to stay I think I’m giving it a three-star only because I’m annoyed about how much the parking costs If you take away the parking aspect then it’s a four star

Luis Yudice

It used to be a great place to stay but since COVID, they’ve cut their services and support They still charge you full price but do not clean your room daily You have to ask for cleaning and they don’t always do it

On this stay, they told me they don’t clean rooms on this day so why are you charging me full price Just another way this company is increasing their profits while taking services away from you Also, they cut their housekeeping staff so their the ones keeping all the profit Would recommend staying somewhere else where they take better care of their guest and employees

This review relates to a two-day stay on Sun/Mon over the Memorial Day weekend

Having stayed here before, staff was pleasant and attentive as usual  My assigned 3rd floor room was clean, though unfortunately regular bath towels were somehow removed from the bathroom or otherwise missedThe things that I like about this hotel is that the rooms are large and the coffee makers in the rooms use k-cups that afford the use of additional flavors and varieties that I can bring with me  The cable TV includes some premium channels, the beds are comfortable, and there is free parking (even if the room rate is slightly higher), which is useful for those having a frequent traveller or points program that allows benefits accruals on the booking costs  That isn’t possible when parking is a surcharge   Separate parking charges are annoying not only for that reason, but also because you end up paying more than the listed price for the room reservation, but that isn’t the case here  This hotel also offers breakfast that is included, though I’ve never eaten breakfast during this or my prior staysDespite the good things that I like about this hotel, the third floor en route to my room and certain public areas needed more cleaning and attention than they had been given  The area in and around the elevator wasn’t very clean and third floor carpeting looked as though it had not been vacuumed for several days That part aside, there were certain areas on the carpet that were showing excessive soiling and yet other areas showing bleach damage At least as to the third floor, it could use a thorough stream cleaning, including in the stair well area, followed by spot dying pigmentation to tend to the repair and camouflage of the damaged carpeting areas  Those maintenance issues aside, this is a comfortable and quiet place to plan your local stay

Branden went above and beyond for my family and me through our month long stay He provided excellent customer service at all times from needing toilet paper to helping us extend our stay 3 times He set us up with IHG rewards so we could earn reward points for a future stay

Always answered our questions with a smile and took the time to get to know us while we waited for whatever brought us to the front He checked in with us whenever we passed by and made us feel at home while we waited for our home The staff we ran into through the hotel was so friendly and would goof around with my 2 year old and made our stay fun The breakfast was always good and offered every food group, which is something that’s important to me We were always greeted with a smile by all Branden is why we kept coming back to Holiday Inn Express Costa Mesa week after week But everyone here has been great to us I recommend this hotel to anyone

We spent 8 nights at Lido House and loved our stay The location is perfect for exploring Newport and the coast It’s also central for day trips to LA, Disney, and San Diego

The entire hotel is beautifully decorated When we spent time at the hotel we enjoyed hanging by the pool, Topside rooftop, and Mayors Table Nick was our server out by the pool He was friendly and made great cocktails The atmosphere on the rooftop was fun and the views are amazing Make a reservation if you can because it does get busy especially on the weekends Our meal at Mayors Table was amazing We ordered the eat like a mayor option and got to try amazing dishes prepared specially for us Our server was friendly and very knowledgeable on wine We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return again in the future

I lived in Newport so I never stayed here My daughter graduated and the parents rented a cottage for an intimate quiet celebration It was wonderful to relax while the kids were shuttled to a Duffy Boat ride

Upon return they enjoyed the pool and views from the decks of the cottage It made for a great time Sadly I admit I have spent more on birthday parties that were not nearly as enjoyable or reasonably priced

RoLambo

I stayed at Lido House in the Bay cottage for the first time and this is my experience As soon as I arrived I was greeted by valet who was focused on providing a great customer service experience which I appreciated My experience with the front desk checking in was the opposite

I was not greeted with the same level and it felt transactional After completing my transaction the front desk clerk pointed directions to the room There is no walk thru the property nor introduction to your cottage They did hand me a piece of paper with some info but you are pretty much on your own to figure things out and how everything works in your cottageSpending 4K for two nights you would think you would at the very least stay in a clean and functional room The couches had stains The roof top chairs had mold and we refused to sit on them The shower in the master bedroom had a busted hose so every time you turned it on water would explode everywhere The master bedroom had a big drawer that was also busted and stayed in the open position They had a toaster under the kitchen sink that also looked dirty that was next to a roll out floor mat that had a big stain in the middle of it I did like the location being close to Lido Marina Village and other amenities but I would definitely stay somewhere else

Upon arrival, the front desk told us they gave our two queen bed in which we reserved months ago to someone else! After talking back and forth for a few minutes, the best they could offer us was a single bed, along with a sofa bed, which on their own website stated sleeps 3 In my case, we were a family of 4, resulting in 1 person with no bed to sleep in They didn’t reimburse us for the cheaper room they substituted

Instead, the manager threatened to kick us out of the hotel for us requesting them to give us the correct room which we reserved and had paid in advance for After being about our situation, the first thing the manager said “we have explained we don’t have the room you booked, we will do you a favor by canceling your reservation” To make matters worse, the manager forced me to formally apologize to her, or she would cancel our reservation for questioning why they gave our room away, getting no answer in response each time A manager centric awful solution to leave me as the costumer without the room that I prepaid for in advance It was take the room for 3 people which was the managers solution or take the highway Left with no good option, we finally walked into the reassigned room, there was a dirty sock in the middle of our sofa bed Taking a picture of the sock and showing the front desk, they said, and I quote, “we are sorry” The manager escalated the situation way further than necessary, and was completely blind to reasonably accommodate our reservation My family tried to be patient, and the front desk employees were doing their best, but the way the manager treated me and my family was unprofessional, disrespectful, and uncalled for

Ellie

I stayed here for one night in 2022/8 and the cleaning condition was below average There was a pillow case left behind the sofa and a hand tag (from the previous customer) on the floor inside the closet I think it’s unacceptable for a 4-star hotel

The next morning, a staff mistakenly opened our room door via universal key while my partner and I were still in the room I found it very disrespectful and will not recommend this hotel

Sofie Carp

I was sorely disappointed The service provided by the service staff was disappointing Several issues occurred starting with check in

The manager had to be called He took his time coming to assist After about 20 mins of waiting, the attending clerk had to go look for him After about another 10 minutes, she returned with the manager He was unapologetic and confirmed what I had already told the clerk with the exception that he stated they had no suites at the hotel I later found out what I was told was untrue through asking of the cleaning staff on our floorOn a separate day, a different manager was in the lobby asking guests if he could be of assistance Our party asked him if the restaurant was available for lunch He said no, but there was food and drinks available in the second floor pool area We went up to the 2nd floor only to be told by the person working the pool area bar, that all that was available was snacks (chips) and drinks She did mention that food was available only on weekends, however, this was a FridayOn check out day, I was treated differently from another guest checking out at the same time I was just told that I was was “done” I had to request a copy of the receipt since I had issues during check-in and want to make sure I was not charged for anything as my stay had been pre-paid While I waited I notice the person checking out at the same time was being treated very differently, asked how they wanted their receipt and if they wanted any water for their return trip home I don’t know if how I was treated was because I was a different color and gender than the person checking out at the same timeThe valet staff was very different, they were very attentive and their customer service outstanding

Everything was absolutely perfect! From the front desk staff very friendly and professional, our suite was fantastic! We stayed in suite 223, it was immaculately clean! All the sheets had that crisp fresh clean scent! The 1 bedroom suite also has two bedrooms! Genius! The breakfast buffet one of the best we’ve ever experienced great food, friendly and accommodating staff, parking was a bit tight on Saturday night but otherwise everything exceeded our expectations! 💖 We are very picky! The management at this property knows service excellence! Congratulations not easy to accomplish post pandemic! Amazing experience we will definitely be back!

I personally was blown away at this hotel It’s beautiful, with a VERY comfortable bed The staff is friendly

They welcomed my daughter and I with a complementary cold water and warm cookie I saw some complaints recently about the elevator and room service The elevator is operating now, and the staff does inform us upon check in that room service is by request only (I personally don’t like room service anyway I don’t go in and clean my house every other day, so I think I’m okay going a weekend without them cleaning after me) my only complaint would be that there’s no microwave in the room I know there’s a cafe in the lobby but I’m not here on vacation, and I just can’t afford to order food on top of all the travel expenses I bring my own food for these trips It was unfortunate but if you don’t need a microwave then I’d say you’ll love this place

Sheela Mika

This hotel is the perfect place to stay! It’s surrounded with everything you need plus bigger attractions are not that far either! After staying here for 3 nights, I’ve noticed a lot of great pros and a little bit of cons:Pros:- Great location- Super Friendly staff including housekeeping and waiters- Restaurant on the first level- Aesthetic gym and small pool area- Bakery with hotel store located by the lobbyCons:- Charging on card seems to be a little confusing (currently double charged for 700+)- Weekend parking is atrocious and have to pay ~$25/nightI’d recommend this hotel on a week day, but maybe not during busier days Their parking garage is relatively small and management have explained that they are under staffed during events We also did run into a concerning situation where one person at the front desk double charged a two cards and wanted to hurry along everyone instead of clearing up the situation

Stayed at this hotel for three nights with the family The hotel is about a 20 minute drive to Disneyland and about a 20 minute drive to Newport Pier The hotel is definitely a business class type of hotel

The hotel is very clean The pool is very nice No free breakfast but that is to be expected at a hotel that is more of a business class hotel My main complaint about this hotel is the $39/night for parking that they charge Our room was cleaned each day which I have found does not always happen these days at all hotels Shirley’s Bagels is a good bagel place close by If you do go to Newport Pier prepare for the challenge of finding a good parking space but once you do the beach there is a lot of fun and there is a lot of good places to eat down there The four stars instead of five stars is simply because of the insane rate of $39/night for parking

Stephanie Fritz

We stayed here last summerThis is such a wonderful hotel Very clean and very spacious

It is near tons of restaurants and 5 mins from the airport, though it stays very quiet! The pool is gorgeous and clean and their outdoor seating area with the fire pits are amazingEvery person who worked there was so kind and accommodatingWe stayed a week Our only complaint is there was a wedding the whole time we were there so it was very loud and we had to park very far away The entire front entrance to get in was closed off so you had to magically find a door to get to your roomAll in all, for this price, we will be staying again!

Bea Kissinger

Such an amazing stay at Renaissance Newport Beach This hotel has such an amazing vibe The entire place is so nice and clean, the decor was very hip and modern

Every single person who works here was so friendly and eager to helpWe stayed in a 2 Queen room that had a Mountain View The room was spacious, clean and very well kept I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone visiting

The Best Hotel for any handicapped or disabled person The automatic door for exiting and the auto opening for entering are standout features Shower access and grab bars were well thought out

Plenty of ramps for access to both buildings The pool access is the best, with a lift to the pool deck and lift chairs for the pool and spa The property is so well maintained, even the wood trim through out the property looked new We so enjoyed the dinner in the restaurant, the menu had nice options and the prices were not what we expected to pay (we thought the prices were very good), the $2 coffee to go in the morning a, winner We highly recommend this property for any one By the way, we were married in the “Living Room”, going on 32 years ago, and had our reception there! What a joy to see the property so welcoming and well maintained The staff were well trained in customer service, not just with us, I watched how they interacted with other guests Again I cannot stress enough how well the property was appointed for any disabled or handicapped personWe will returnRae Crogan

Carpet smelled, and the room was not as clean as it should have beenAs I was in the middle of showering, the smoke detector went off My 10-year-old kid woke up in a panic, and I freaked out

Shampoo in my hair, after shouting to my daughter not to panic, I yelled to her instructions to dial the front desk and ask what was happening She tried, but my instructions didn’t work So I rushed out of the shower without even rinsing, ran to the phone only to find that it wasn’t working I grabbed my cell phone and dialed the hotel’s number When the operator answered, I complained that the smoke detector had been triggered and had not stopped and that when attempting to call from the room’s phone, the phone would not work A weak apology about the phone not working preceded the question, “were you taking a shower when the smoke detector went off?”I said yes and that I was not done showering As if nothing happened, the operator said it was the steam’s fault and that she’d sent maintenance to adjust it Was I mad? No I was furious!!! Sending maintenance to adjust it AFTER the matter? After my daughter was abruptly woken by the most unnerving high-pitched alarm sound? After having failed to enable the guest to connect with the front desk? After forcing me out of the bathroom while I was still soaking wet and with product in my hair, are you joking? If your staff knows that steam setting off the smoke detector is an issue, the decent thing to do is to give guests a heads up so that they are able to make an informed decision o whether or not they want to stayAs far as I see it this hotel has deliberately reached out into my pockets to rob me of the fee they charged $200+ , for a one night stay and a forced early checkout due to the unpleasant awaking in the morning Needless to say, I would never be back, and I will discourage anyone from staying here

S G

This hotel is in close proximity to the airport and they offer shuttle service to and from the airport If you call the hotel for pickup they are very prompt on sending a shuttle over The driver, Israel, was very professional and friendly

Upon arriving to the hotel, the front desk agent was also extremely quick, friendly and professional The hotel has a beautiful courtyard where you can enjoy a delicious meal from the onsite restaurant I can not say enough about this hotel-great location, great customer service, beautiful courtyard, delicious food and a clean and comfortable room 100 percent will stay here again

This hotel is by far the best hotel that I’ve been to in a very long time Bill was so nice and very helpful and understanding when my clumsy self accidentally bumped my head and needed to rest before leaving my stay and he even offered to get me an ambulance just in case I couldn’t drive But I luckily was okay and resting did just the trick

Brittany that also works at the front desk/reception was so amazing and I wanted to mention just how kind and welcoming she was when I had first arrived for my reservation and every day that she helped me during my stay She made the process extremely fast and painless and had a smile on her face the entire time and I didn’t feel rushed or like she just was trying to get me out of there like other people/companies that I’ve unfortunately had to deal with in the pastThe hotel is also extremely beautiful, and has a really great vibe to it I also like the color scheme and I truly felt like the overall ambience was absolutely perfect and made me feel extremely happy and inviting It’s extremely clean both in the common areas and my hotel room I couldn’t of asked for anything better! So thank you again Bill and Brittany for making me feel very at home and extremely comfortable I will definitely be referring this hotel to any of my friends or family that are looking for hotels in the area or just a small getaway for the weekend and I will obviously still be returning myself as much as I possibly can Trust me you’ll love it here!

The stay was okay We didn’t have any major issues Check in was fast and easy

I had a lovely stay for business at this hotel Elite members get a $10 breakfast credit and the restaurant is quite nice The furnishings are a little dated but the hotel is maintained nicely and it’s in a great area for walking, restaurants, shops

Also not far from the airport or beach! Staff is great, and accommodating I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again, my only complaint is the gym being quite small Also Note that it is pet friendly and there are lots of dogs including ones from the nearby condos, if that’s not your thing I loved it here

I came across Avenue of the Arts in my search for a hotel in Costa Mesa My husband and I selected this hotel because we thought it was very beautiful and looked upscale from the picturesA few complaints i have during my stay are as follows: When i first arrived i originally booked a room with a balcony and was given a room with a ledge

You were unable to walk on it, i also booked a city view and instead i was looking at a wall I called the front desk and they did address my complaint and did give me the appropriate room which i am thankful forI was unhappy that i had a 6 day 5 night stay and there was no room service I had to constantly come to the front desk for towels and toilet paper i was also very upset that i was not advised i would have to pay $132 for parking when i booked this hotel Also it was very disgusting that people ordered room service and would leave their trays in the hall way and the food would be there for hours leaving the hall smelling horrible Also there are signs all over the hotel that it’s non smoking which i don’t really understand This was not advertised when i booked this hotel It almost made me decide to change hotels because i am a smoker and instead i had to walk off the property which was a huge inconvenience for me on my vacation Meanwhile i did see people smoking on the property, instead of doing the same i followed the rules because i didn’t wasn’t to incur a $250 fee Also the restaurant in the hotel was not great and had few options for breakfastOtherwise the staff was very nice and the hotel lobby was nice and the rooms were clean Also the doormen were nice and helped carry the lugged up to the roomI do like the hotel but these things defiantly should be addressed

Leopoldo Martinez

Stayed for 1 night and loved the room, the on-site restaurant and its surroundings More importantly, the staff are excellent – from greeting us as we came to and from, to helping understand our bill (Danny and Evan – who emailed various documentation in minutes, to Julie – in locating garments left behind and calling back in minutes too) Also, walkable to South Coast plaza and restaurants

Definitely, a gem in Costa Mesa Truly exceeded its AAA 4-diamond rating This is the hotel to stay in CM and the surrounding cities

This is a nice hotel I stayed here for a night and was satisfied with my experience I booked this hotel online and checked into it

When I checked in, I was given a room key, which is required for guests to access their room as well as the parking garage The parking garage is big and has many spaces, but it has a $30 overnight parking fee, which is annoying The rooms, however, were much nicer than the price of the parking garage The room I stayed in had a living room with a fold out couch bed, a bathroom window, a giant TV, a closet, and a complimentary travel guide/magazine for Orange County I didn’t know what you can do in Orange County, so this guide was very convenient This hotel also has a separate bedroom, which has a comfy bed, another giant TV, and a balcony The bathroom in the hotel room has an average sized shower with two shower heads: one in place and one you can take off the shower pole to help you wash hard to reach areas The bathroom is very bright and clean, which is nice This hotel has a bar as well, but I didn’t go there I gave this hotel five stars because it has amazing rooms with comfy beds and a travel guide about Orange County, which I found to be very helpful This hotel is much more upscale than I expected, and it’s conveniently located by attractions such as South Coast Plaza, the Segerstrom Center for the Arts, and John Wayne Airport The only problem I had with the hotel was the price of the parking garage and the temperature of the hallways, which were warmer than normal for some reason

This Marriott at Costa Mesa is quite nice, the pool was full of people on a hot Sunday afternoon in Southern California I only stayed here for one night after three days of conference at an airport Hyatt Regency, it’s quite relaxing The business lounge here is open 24 hours and fully stocked with bottles of orange juice, cold spring water, and some biscuits during non breakfast and non evening happy hours, it’s next to the swimming pool so a lot of customers come in and out for drinks by the pool

I got a complementary suite upgrade with my Titanium membership, which was very nice All in all, it’s a very pleasant and relaxing stay ! Cheers!

Difficult to rate Was there for an art gallery reception No real display space, and just a few pieces were hung in a narrow hallway which got blocked too quickly

Nice outdoor space, beautiful view of landscaped terraces with waterfalls and small ponds, not a bad indoor lobby though a little small, excellent guitarist singer who was for the affair and the staff serving the bar were friendly and very entertaining as well So the experience was good, outdoor was nice, indoor was just not appropriate for the needs of the weekend art reception Absolutely not the fault of the marriott, but I feel a poor selection by the art gallery that put on the affair Still, it was a pleasant eveningI did not stay over so I cannot evaluate the staff or the rooms

Summary: For the price, I would not stay here again unless there wasn’t anything available around I would have rather gone to Holiday InnCons:- Cost of parking was about $36 for inside the garage

Staff did not offer other suggestions (apparently across the street was cheaper)- Breakfast was too expensive at $26 per person for a buffet I’d rather go to a restaurant and be waited on- No microwaves in rooms- Ice machine not working- No valet because “Covid”- Floor was outdated The place needs a remodel- The patio door was heavy to open Trees blocked a potential view- No laundry room- No garbage bags in trash bins This must result in extra work for the housekeeping- Water from sink does not taste good- Swimming pool was closed during the time frame it was supposed to be open- Even credit card machine was not working at check in- Internet was not greatPros:- Friendly staff- Location Gas station across the street and freeway and shopping very close by- Starbucks in lobby- Parking is secure

A huge thank you to Carolina and Katherine for their absolutely above and beyond customer service I called from Australia to arrange a surprise birthday gift for my sister who was staying as a guest Both ladies were not only professional but kind, generous and went out of their way to make my sister’s birthday special

If I could give them 100 stars I would! Thank you so much for your hospitality

The room was fantastic! The location was great! And the amenities were great as well! However, I had a not great experience with the check in staff I had booked 2 rooms on Hotel Tonight, and I thought they were both “double queen” rooms When I went to check in they only had one “double queen” available

They said the other rooms were being cleaned and that I could come back in 1-15 hrs to get it The front desk gentleman even wrote down a note I called a few hours later and they went on to tell me there were no double queens available and I feel like they didn’t work with me nor try to go any extra out of their way to see if there was some sort of compromiseOther than that, great hotel

Had a nice view from my room Hotel is under construction and should look great when finished What a perfect location

The renovation was probably due for a long time Looks like a new pool also being built New outdoor facilities One tower has already been repainted and you can see a big difference It is a big hotel to redo so hopefully it will be done in the next six to twelve months Probably also have some new restaurants to compete with fashion island

Everyone was great Service was awesome the young man who helped us at the front was amazing He was there like literally two days straight and was very helpful with any questions we had

He made our vacation that much better Also the woman who helped me and upgraded my room to a baby suite was amazing as well I would be honored to stay again Only thing is it’s way expensive and the price was sooo much cheaper after the fact lol other than that I’d give it 12 stars if I could

I stayed in one of the business suites Very nice, clean rooms with a sitting area and reclining chair to read/relax in I was provided with a robe and disposable slippers

The TV remote is always in a paper type protective cover, which is wonderful for making me feel more safe about it being sanitary and germ (coronavirus!!) free! The bathroom and bathtub are both large and clean, none of the black spots/ areas that usually indicates mildew/ mold The front desk agents are always friendly and helpful The breakfast is served each morning and there is a good variety of toast, muffins, cereal, eggs and waffles you prepare yourself I would definitely recommend staying at this location if you’re looking for a hotel in the Newport Beach area

Me and my family stayed there for five days My in-laws came in from Georgia Overall we had a wonderful stay

I was so impressed with everything The rooms were great, no issues We got two rooms close to the lobby so it all worked The breakfast was decent, not too fancy, but good, considering it was free and came with the room It met and exceeded all my expectations Of course I would’ve liked, like an omelette bar or something to that effect, or maybe turkey instead of just pork, but overall it was goodThe staff was great Tiffany at the front desk especially was really awesome I even told her “you guys have five stars for sure, barring a disaster“ Well, it happened Something awful happened the last day As we were packing to leave, my wife noticed that her shoes were missing Nike vapor max Retail value $220 I’m not a rich man, so I saved up for those shoes They were for my wife’s birthday Had to be a birthday gift, because my wife would not accept shoes that cost so much money We’re very modest and meek people, so they were special to say the least And would you know that those very shoes just jumped up and walked out of the room Of course, I addressed this with the front desk, bit he assured me that the cleaning staff had worked there for over 20 years and nothing has ever come up Well I guess we just have some bad luck, because my wife’s shoes just disappeared from the room Looked everywhere and even called there again a week later, no shoes Obviously this disaster left a very bad taste in my mouth, so I would say, stay there, you’ll have a wonderful time Just make sure you lock up your valuables, which I guess would include your pricey shoes, Because you never know They may grow legs and walk right out of your room It pains me to even write this Because we really had a wonderful time Unfortunately shoegate messed a perfect trip up

Please stay somewhere else if you can!PARKING NOT FREE- they hide this little tidbit until you see $12/night charge on your bill Please read reviews online, and you will see this mentioned multiple timesHotel room smelled musty, bed hard AF, and carpet is ugly and disgusting

Location convenient, but loud as it’s right next to the freeway Needless to say, I didn’t get good sleep I have no idea why I was put on the side of the hotel directly facing the freeway when the hotel didn’t appear to be crowded The staff seemed passive and stoicThere were some benefits-free breakfast-free meeting rooms available on a first come first serve basis-Hotel lobby very clean and inviting-bathroom located within hotel room was remodeled and clean (lighting poor though)-Clean outdoor pool and nice firepit area Clean groundsOverall though, I expected more for the high price I paid hereI will not stay here again

I went through hell getting to Marriott due to the lack of due diligence of my travel accommodations The staff went above and beyond their assigned duties to ensure I was accommodated appropriately and had an enjoyable stay Not to sound cliché, but the staff truly acted as a light at the end of the tunnel from my horrid transit from point A to B to make stay a great one

PLEASE GIVE YOUR STAFF A HUGE RAISE as they have made me a fan of Marriott Hotels I will now only book with this hotel chain for future lodgings due to the great experience they had created for me

Asked twice to get the room serviced Both times we were assured that housekeeping would take care of our room Returned to room to find it untouched

Called the front desk and was told that despite a three day night stay that service was only after checkoutUnhappy Especially since we were assured of service with each request

The room setup is very functional especially for business The separation of toilet facilities from shower facilities in the room is very nice Plenty of desk room with good lighting

The only drawback was that there was no real food uses within a convenient walking distance but there is a stocked pantry and frozen food section if you did want to cook in your room with the provided microwave Having breakfast provided down in the foyer was also nice

I have stayed at different SpringHill Suites or Marriott properties in Alaska, Hawaii and Mexico, so far all staff are friendly and courteous This morning when I went down to get breakfast, I was greeted with a big smile from *KRISTINA* at the breakfast counter I didn’t expect to see that because it’s 7 am when people just woke up and have a blank face, including me

Kristina smiled at me with genuine happiness and said,” How are you?” I woke up immediately! 😃I see her interaction with other guests and I could tell she enjoys working and takes pride in her work Highly recommend here and also want to give a big shout out to Kristina It’s nice to see people who are passionate about their jobs I give her 5 stars, too!

Jonathan Whitten

Clean room and nice hotel, to be expected with this brand, but a couple issues hereWhen we checked in everything was okay, the front desk person seemed a bit tired and not talkative and as we checked in it seemed the shift changed to a new personOnce we got in the room we were happy with how nice it is but someone else’s name was on the screen, and there was food in the fridge which led us to go back and make sure we had the right room

Later when we showered there was a major leak that flooded the bathroom floor After looking around I could see that there was some wood rot on the baseboards so it’s been going on a whileBreakfast was good but with about 40 people eating and just one toaster they could use another, or just a conveyor toaster No gluten free options except eggs and yogurtOverall we liked our stay and would probably come back! This was our second time staying with the brand and we like them!

I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels, some high end, some economy, this particular Crowne Plaza was excellent for the price It still has the wall A/C instead of central air and the view from my room wasn’t great, but those are the only things I can think of pointing outEverything else was great, location, staff, room comfort, etc

And best of all, they have awesome water pressure and a very enjoyable rainfall shower head, I can’t think of another shower in a hotel I’ve stayed at with such great pressure in the shower Great renovation CP!

Liam Morey

It was okay Nice rooms but had 3 long black hairs in my bed, a few small ones like half an inch so hopefully they came from someones head… bathroom is beautiful but had one bar of hand soap and a tiny shampoo, no body wash no body soap no conditioner, was at a very cheap hotel the night earlier in San Diego and that had hand soap, face soap, conditioner, shampoo and body wash Of course the small sized ones but thats to be expected for a hotel

Was disappointed, had to shower with a small cheap hand soap then pick hairs out of the bed before I slept

Jonathon Santos

I visited the Crown Plaza Costa Mesa for a company conference My experience here was great with the exception of one thingAs seen in the attached photo, some of their staff thought it was a good idea to put door stops under the outside of the doors leading into/out of the conference room

Had there been an emergency that would have required everyone to exit the conference room in a hurry, the doors may not have openedI had the tacos at the on site restaurant and they were really good and were prepared quickly, although the menu is limited

Overall, my experience here at the Hampton Inn Suites was a good one Clean room, great breakfast, and nice view from the room The housekeepers did a great job with the room being as clean as it can be

I will still give this hotel a 5 stars since the hotel, itself, was a very nice one at that However, my only issue was the front desk receptionist I wish I had got his name so that the manager can talk to him about being more precise when it comes to booking online All I know is that he is a Latino man and he was a little rude and disorganized Anytime I check in with the Hilton hotels, I always come at 3:00pm sharp When I checked in, I got this sweet young woman who checked me in and was very precise about the pricing (even the ridiculous 24$ parking per night) and she was fairly new at her job And, the Latino man was next to her trying to inform her that she kept doing certain things wrong So, mind you, when it was time to check out, I checked out like I usually do and they usually let me know that everything is set and fine then I go on my day That same Latino man was informing me that the booking online didn’t necessarily take my card; even though, my email said I had a reservation for that day and they already charged my credit card I usually check it just in case for reasons like this He then goes and tells me that next time I should double check that and inform the front desk receptionist to other hotels to make sure that my credit card went in thoroughly in the system Like what? I never had a problem with my credit card in the past and I know it still works I never have to do that I have been to many Hilton hotels and it goes so smoothly He was trying to prove a point that didn’t make sense or was not clear Please talk to the Latino man (and I am a Latino man myself) and if I knew his name then I would of said his name, but I forgot to ask him what his name was My hotel room was perfect, but he is just awful and I needed to mention this Let’s hope my credit card was not charged twice or I will have a problem with him myself

Cathy Nicdao

Clean, organized, friendly environment and more importantly everything works I had to booked my room last minute since my first one wasn’t great I checked in, everything was explained thoroughly

The next day, I see some people cleaning the rooms, the hallways and even the people that worked at the breakfast buffet checks on the food and immediately refill it without anybody asking The turn the table around right away too Checked out was so fast and easy as well They made you feel welcome and they were all helpful My overall experience was amazing Hopefully, it’s the same treatment to all their facilities cuz I am looking forward to checking in again

Melissa Mastrangelo

Overall had a really nice stay here The room was clean, breakfast was tasty, and it was quiet on the top floor All the hotels in the area seem to charge a parking fee, so don’t forget to mention if you have a car parked

It’s $24/night which I thought was pretty steep, but it looks to be average for the area I’d recommend staying here if in the area!
