Parking is good and free, we did not get free breakfast with our room (don’t even know if they do that) and breakfast is $14, the pool and hot tub are nice and well kept, fitness room is clean and nice Restaurant in the hotel had good food and happy hour specials from 5-7:30 I believe Staff were always pleasant and would help you anyway they could

We stayed for 5 days and received everything we requested Our room was only services once due to COVID-19 policies, we were made aware that if we needed new towels or more toiletries we just needed to ask Only issues we had were in our room, the carpet was pretty gross in spots, see photos, and we lost power to our bathroom for about 15min Power was fixed fast after I called the desk

I’m in total shock of this entire situationFirst off the customer service desk customer service was slightly below par They weren’t friendly nor personable but also we’re not rude

Second we found hair in our bed I know this is going to happen but the staff didn’t care what so ever There was zero effort to show any compassionThird we requested simple requests for things to be brought to our room such as pillows Hours would go by and nothing Eventually we would just go get it ourselvesI decided to make a complaint Phone operators for the main line were hit and miss Some cared, some wrongfully transferred me and others simply hung up on me I was extremely polite the entire timeCorporate informed me that the hotel general manager would call me Days went by and nothing so I called back They were unsure as to why she hadn’t reached out to me and reached out to her again Days went by and nothingI finally spoke with someone on the corporate main line who informed me because I booked third party that there was nothing they were going to do for me Are you kidding me? It is still your property and your responsibility to take care of your guests but you can pass the buck to another company That’s a lousy policy and extremely unprofessional and I will never stay with a Hilton property againEdit:I upgraded this to a two-star review because corporate was willing to finally help me out and try to rectify the situation However this location made zero attempt to make my matters better and kept giving me the runaround Hilton corporate receives a five-star for their amazing customer service but I must leave this actual location out of one star because they do not care about their customer

If you want a fancy hotel from the turn of the century, stay here! You could tell this place was the Ritz of its time Wide open spaces Plenty of seats at the bar

Live music until midnight We stayed in a corner room with a queen bed, with great views The bathroom is spacious and extremely cleanEveryone that worked there is exceptionally nice They made us feel very welcomeThe hotel is perfectly located within walking distance of literally a hundred places to eat, shop, and drink The sights and sounds of this hotel are wonderful You really feel like you stepped back in time We stayed on a Saturday night during July and the price for one night was $157 with taxI would recommend staying here, as we plan to do so in the future The only drawback is where the pool is located It’s a mile down the road, but they offer a shuttle if you want There’s also plenty of parking The pool is huge and the beach is next to the parking lot10 out of 10 would stay here again!

Okay, so I have mixed feelings about this place First of all, the water is an odd shade of pale yellow Not sure what is going on with their plumbing, but I don’t want to shower in dirty water

Or brush my teeth or wash my hands It’s so yellow that after the toilet is flushed, it still looks like it wasn’t flushed at all Kinda weird Second issue is that the hotel is extremely noisy from street noise ALL night long We didn’t sleep So, at this point, you might wonder why we gave 3 stars The location is really close to everything All the restaurants, bars, shops, etc You walk out the front door and you’re right in the heart of all the fun stuff Definitely a plus The staff are very friendly, and everything but the water appeared clean The breakfast was a bit simple Cold cereal, muffins and juice or coffee, but it was enough to get us started

Overall Great experience besides the Manager Mariam being extremely rude and discriminating at check in which almost ruined my trip After finally checking in to a less favorable room I warmed up to the partial water/pool view

I appreciated that room had a balcony even though privacy is lacked due to closeness Hotel/room was very clean The hotel also offer kitchens as well as free hot breakfast Parking is not offered by the hotel for whatever reason even though there is a private parking garage attached to the hotel There are a few restaurants within walking distance which is a plus This side of the Delray Beach is mostly residential so it gets quiet early This hotel was almost 5 stars I will revisit

Sydney Marcatos

My family had a horrible experience at this hotel The staff, especially the manager, is extremely unfriendly and inhospitable Our room was dirty

There was a bloody piece of toilet paper on the ground when we walked in The AC system is cold one minute and hot the next The noise is so loud it will keep you up all night Also, the walls are paper thin, and I could hear the lady next to us coughing, and on the other side of the room we could hear our other neighbors watching Friends When you try to leave our room the door handle is broken and it is very difficult to open Very disappointed for a Marriott property Will not stay here again or recommend to friends The hotel across the street, Seagate, is where we wanted to stay, however, they are under renovation Looking forward to staying there on our next trip to Delray and you should do the same

Marien Ortiz

I had a horrible experience I was there on business I was supposed to stayed for 18 nights but I ended up asking my company to put me in another hotel The room was dirty I requested housekeeping for Saturday that didn’t happened the I saw housekeeping employees sitting on the floor in the housekeeping room on floor 10th

Basically, hiding they were not working Also, it was raining a they have towels and buckets all over because of the leaks in the ceiling The assistant Manger is rude and extremely unfriendly and inhospitable as well The back of the TV’s was extremely filthy (I HAVE PICTURES) carpet is old and dirty When you try to leave our room the door handle is broken and it is very difficult to open Thank GOD my company immediately move me to another Marriott Location very nice, clean, with kitchen FRIENDLY STAFF You can see the HOUSEKEEPING STAFF CLEANING THE HALLWAYS AND EVERYTHING I also have a nice balcony (big) I made sure that no one else in the company stay in that hotel They deserve 0 stars

Wow Stayed here for a business trip and it was amazing! Honestly, it was the nicest hotel I have ever been in and the staff was so friendly At times this level of comfort was unusual to me and I felt a bit out of place

The views were amazing, the food was excellent and the drinks were delicious I would definitely go back

Run DLE TV

5 star treatment and luxury at this expansive resort From the moment you arrive, you will feel pampered at every level From valet remembering your name all week to the great conversations with the water taxi Captain, you can really get a feeling that the staff loves their jobs and want you to provide the highest level possible

I recommend staying at the Beach Club, but would only shy away from the bongolows They are off the path and a little harder to get to The main building, Tower and Beach club are all amazing in the own ways This will be a pricey stay, but you will free refreshed, relaxed and pampered by the time you leave

Steve Glanz MD

Still under renovation by Michael Dell investment group Lots of changes and improvementsA first class, five star experience, to stay at

Great for your next corporate gatheringIf you are a local and want to join as a social or golf member, then it will cost you a hefty fee to start and then a monthly maintenance feeLots of members use it for business contacts as well as pleasureThere has always been and will only be one Boca Hotel and Beach Club which occupies the most prime real estate on Lake Boca and on the Boca Beach in Boca Raton Florida!

Extremely nice place Definitely don’t judge a book by its cover although I really liked the outside landscaping, I was told they will be doing some outside/building remodeling🙂Extremely friendly staff

I called to check availability and I realized after getting there the office was closing when I called, however Ben seemed to of gotten up out of his sleep to meet me there to accommodate me getting a room for the night The room had ALL accommodations needed for a vacation/home away from home I will definitely stay here every time I’m in Florida which is quite often 🙂 oh and I slept so well didn’t even notice the train throughout the night This place gets a 10/10

I made my reservations online on this motel’s website based on all the great reviews and was hoping that I could leave a good review but unfortunately that’s not the case When I arrived, I had the same issue as another person who posted a review on here My reservation was not found even though I received a conformation number and instructions on how to check in

I was told that the room was not even available but that I would receive an upgrade for the same price Well I ended up being charged $10 more per night This was room 13 There is a hole in the bathroom stuffed with toilet paper There was no warm water in the shower and the showerhead seemed like it was about to fall off and I couldn’t lift it up past my shoulder height so it was really uncomfortable to wash my hair The bathroom sink was draining slowly In the kitchen sink, there was an empty sugar packet from a previous guest There were spit marks on the mirror above the desk and one morning I saw a roach coming from behind the fridge The one star is for the bearded gentleman who went above and beyond to make this stay as comfortable as possible I did not have a chance to discuss this during my stay because I was there for training and would only be at the motel late at night I received an invoice via email and I tried to reply to that email to discuss these issues and being overcharged but it turns out that it was a no reply email address

Warren Smith

The person I check in with (Corey, a bearded man with light-med tattooing) was a consummate professional who made the process stress free and has continuously gone above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and great as possible! There is beautiful outdoor decorations and plenty of places to grill and chill! They provide free coffee, cookies, and fresh fruit If you need a place to stay in Lantana and don’t want to be overcharged and undervalued stay at The Barefoot Mailman Motel There are cute little lizards, beautiful flowers and outdoor decorations, and the manager is available everyday at 9am and will actually work VERY hard to make it a great environment

He and Corey don’t just work here they work FOR you Trespassing is not tolerated Rampant partying and risky behavior is not tolerated They strive to keep you safe and feeling comfortable The night man Corey makes himself available until 2am in the morning and sometimes even later!! The location is right next to a beautiful island with a stunning free beach, off the dock fishing, a cute park, and a stunning nature preserve Thank you Barefoot and thank you Corey!!!! We were sad to leave!

Hotel is under renovation- I knew that when I booked- pool is closed as of my stay in May 2022Staff was very friendly- room was fantastic and I was gleefully upgraded as a Marriott Titanium member Armand (forgive me if I am spelling that wrong- I asked for his name but lost the piece of paper it was written on) at the front desk was very kind and helpful

If you don’t mind the construction outside (the view of it – I heard no noise in the hotel) and the pool being closed, you will love it here Parking lot was pretty full all nights I was there – which was a bit of an inconvenience, but should tell you something

Kendrah Wick

Marcia at the front desk is a gem!! Every time I came to the front desk or witnessed her with other guests she was thoughtful, cheerful, smiley and attentive I have worked in hospitality and it’s clear to me that she loves her job and the service industry needs more people like Marcia Though the hotel is going through construction, the stay was pleasant and comfortable and the hotel is in close proximity to the mall and restaurants

Again, big thank you to Marcia for a great stay!!

Julie Levin

Stayed for 5 nights for a family wedding in the area Pool and restaurant closed for renovation Peeling wall paper in hallways

Dirty elevator Make sure not to touch anything But the best, were the roaches in my room And also losing power while I was drying my hair The shower pressure feels like you are being spit on Would never stay here again Housekeeping was sufficient except for not refilling coffee stuff that was clearly used every morning

My husband and it stayed here this weekend for our anniversary It is a very nice hotel The room decor is very cool and contemporary

There is an awesome pool and bar with food on the second floor deck The location is amazing as it is a very short walking distance from Atlantic Avenue We got the room with a king size bed which was perfect for just the two of us All of the staff has been very kind and helpful since we have been here The only negative I have is that it was extremely hard to get anyone to answer the phone during the booking process Besides that we loved our stay here

Mark Pasik

This hotel is one of the best I’ve ever stayed; it’s people friendly and pet friendly! However, they bring pet friendly to a new level that words can’t describe This is my second year with them, and the people and the experiences are second to none Allison checked us in, making us all (including our pet) feel welcome after a very long drive

Steve was helpful around the facility including breakfast, and enjoying playing with our dog (and offering treats with our permission) This hotel was spotless clean, rooms very clean and well provisioned, and every aspect is 5-star! Great pool, and nestled in the heart of Delray Beach… walking distance to Atlantic Avenue for even our very small dog Aloft staff; thank you for continuing your to make our vacation visits to your hotel the best ever! I hope you are used as a model for other Marriott properties to follow

Krista Devlin

The hotel was really nice, very cool decor Staff was amazing and more than willing to assist and help with any little detail Must give high accolades to Kyle at the poolside bar and Allison who work at the front desk

***BEWARE OF THE PEEPER***Nice, clean, well maintained property Wife and I just stayed here Rooms were clean

Halls were quiet And the place didn’t stink like weed (I’ve got no problems with you enjoying your dank, I just don’t want to smell it 24/7 – and that’s becoming a problem in a lot of hotels these days)The pool and pool area were great Live music during happy hour and plenty of comfortable seating It’s a great place to catch a sunsetIf you don’t want to rent a car, there are lots of restaurants and shops within a half mile walk The beach is also an easy 10-15 minute strollOne thing you will want to watch for is the house on the east side of the building My wife was getting ready to change, she looked out our second floor window and saw a person with a large lens looking back at her in their window They quickly closed up shop when they realized she saw them Picture of the house is included for your safety

Earl Hartsell

Oh wow where do I start? This is probably the nicest Courtyard I have ever stayed at It looks reasonably new I think something I saw said it was built in 2019 The checkin and check out were easy as pie

The staff was very friendly even while walking through the hotel they were saying hello The Florida were very nice and the hotel is so close to restaurants and the beach it is great A 5 min walk you are at restaurants and 5 more minutes you are at the beach I highly recommend

Todd L’Herrou

This is the second year we have used the Courtyard by Marriott Delray Beach for a retreat at the end of a 8-month leadership development program The location is good (with easy walking access to downtown Delray Beach) and the hotel is well-appointed and maintained More importantly, the STAFF are EXCELLENT

They go above and beyond to ensure that our retreats have gone smoothly and that every guest has a superb experience When your group is small (26 participants), sometimes it can be difficult to get the treatment that a larger group can command but you’ll never feel that way at the Courtyard Delray Beach Special shout-out to Victoria and Michael – thank you for all you do

This was a perfect weekend! Greeted by fabulous staff at check in to our fabulous bellman Our room was beautiful and extremely clean Housekeeping was the best restocking amenities and keeping the rooms clean

The pool staff and food service was there every time you needed them Would definitely recommend this wonderful resort for a relaxing escape! Next time I will use the spa it looked terrific! Thanks again for a memorable stay!

Ornella Giacaman

My review is based on their spa, we booked massages for my friends birthday Our experience personally was a 10/10, from the valet to Rahiem getting us checked in quickly, the wish pond, everyone in the spa rooms helping us out, the wonderful ladies, Julian and of course the Spa manager We got complimentary bottles of champagne, there was also free white sangria and snacks to be enjoyed

The amenities were all clean and very well kept up We had a wonderful time hanging out at the cabana and swinging on the chairs before taking a dip in the jacuzzi and showering before our services which were also very relaxing!Definitely a wonderful place to treat yourself or celebrate a special occasionThank you to the staff and we can’t wait to be back!

Alison Gerken

I spent the day at the spa I felt pampered from the moment I walked in My concierge gave me a tour and a glass of champagne, she was so sweet and professional

I spent a couple of hours in the outdoor area of the spa, which was beautiful and peaceful I had a 90 minute massage which was amazing My therapist gave me options for lightning, scents and music to suit my mood, she told me every step of what she was doing to ensure my comfort, and she checked in with me just the right amount – enough that I felt cared for but not too much that it felt disruptive I then spent 30 minutes in the dry bed and omg that thing is amazing!! It’s the ultimate meditation I loved my visit here and as a local, I can’t wait to return!!

The hotel is nice, the rooms are well kept I was surprised with all the renovations still taking place arpund the resort that the hotel is still operating at full pricing The entrance way is under construction and isn’t such a beautiful experience to arrive to

They could redirect the main entrance to make a better experience There aren’t as many services right now because of the construction Many restaurants are closed or have moved out (there used to be far more restaurants on-site) Most of the staff are courteous and will take care of things for you As long as you don’t have an issue with your room if you do, give up and stay elsewhere because you can tall and text for 2 days without them taking care of you I’m still waiting for them to fix or replace something in my room

Matthew Wheeler

My family has invited me for a vacation at this hotel for many years I give it only 4 stars for this 5 star hotel because after it was privately bought out, it has gone down hill in terms of service My family was overcharged $1200, the shower was broken, the staff isn’t knowledgeable about anything other that’ll where your room is, etc

if you can look past that, the ground and properties like the beach club that you have access are absolutely gorgeous The new lazy river was a great addition and their food has always been delicious Just said that their service hasn’t been up to par

The Boca Raton is a unique golf and pool resort with “exclusivity” as one of it’s main appeals The grounds are very well kept and the older main building is full of detail and surrounded and filled with a wide range of sculptures and art The conference center is sizable like a Gaylord but compact so you don’t have to walk forever to get to or around it

The pool bar closed at 5pm which seemed way too early The lobby bar was always full and the staff seemed a bit challenged to keep up with the demand The room I stayed in this time was five star all the way except the sink didn’t drain I hope they have refurbished all of the rooms to this level because it was a perfectly appointed and super comfortable room I had stayed years ago and didn’t remember my room being that nice before They were working on refurbing the chapel space which is beautiful and suitable for a decent sized indoor wedding although you might opt for one of several outdoor spaces Bottom line I recommend it for weddings and conferences where you can bring your family too and enjoy some golf

The Ray has been the best hotel I’ve ever state at! From the VERY friendly staff to the beautiful decor, rooms, and amenities around, I couldn’t have had a better experience! My husband and I spent our honeymoon there for 4 days and we’re more than pleased with how we were treated! The rooftop pool is breath taking! We were greeted EVERY single time we set foot through the lobby and Pita gave out great suggestions for my husband and I to do in the area! We will definitely be coming back for future stays and even plan on bringing friends to stay with as well! Thank you again for a wonderful honeymoon!

Has to be the best hotel in Delray Prior to booking, I was a little concerned with some of the negative reviews But a friend that lives in Delray highly recommended the hotel (they frequent the rooftop bar/restaurant), so we took the chance & booked w/ the Ray

Looking back glad we did! The hotel staff, especially in the lobby, were extremely friendly and accommodating Especially Daniel and Laura, they were great to interact with, always very helpful/informative and easy to deal with The rooms were big, very nicely renovated, and clean Loved the products they carry The gym and pool area were also clean and modern When I come back to Delray, I’ll definitely be staying at The Ray, hopefully I’ll have a girlfriend by then and she can join

From the moment you step out of your car and are greeted by the valet staff, like Pita, to the wonderful, super friendly and helpful concierge Diane D, to the front office manager Tom L, you can’t help but to be taken aback by how above and beyond everyone at The Ray Hotel treats you and makes sure you have an amazing stay! And that’s just walking into the lobby The decor is very hip and trendy, including an awesome geometrical lighted art piece that mesmerizes you in the lobby The rooms are amazing, have every little detail you might need and some you may not, and our room had a wrap around balcony that was breathtaking! Oh and wait till you see their spectacular roof top pool deck area! Amazing vibe and great music! This was our first time staying at The Ray, but definitely will not be our last

I was pleasantly surprised to have a room with a second area with a sofa and second TV It was like a studio apt, but without a kitchen The room was clean and quiet

The included breakfast was wonderful, with so many choices it was hard to decide what to eat! It’s an easy drive to the beach, straight down Atlantic Ave with all its many stores and restaurants I got a great senior rate totaling $262 for two nights I’d give them 5 stars if the pool was heated, even a little

This hotel exceeded all expectations We stayed for 3 nights it was very clean, and the staff was very professional

The breakfast was more than satisfactory and always hot and plentiful This property is about 15 miles from the beach We made the trek by foot one day and passed all of the bars and restaurants on Atlantic Ave Other days we just drove to the beach area and found a spot We will definitely be back

We arrived early in the morning and we were able to check in early which was nice We had a beautiful view and the beach was just steps away The rooms were clean and had a fridge

The hairdryer broke and I called the front desk and a new one was delivered within minutes The Patio Bar & Grill had great food and the staff were very friendly There was only one out of 5 days where we had trouble getting a chair but it was Memorial Day Weekend The staff were super friendly and accommodating all around I would definitely stay at this hotel again

Laura

This place is located right across the street from Deerfield Beach It was great access to everything They offered valet or self parking

Our room was clean We got two queen beds One bonus is that you get to use their beach equipment such as a umbrella and chairs for staying at the hotel We enjoyed lounging all day by the beach We could hear people very easily in the hallway which was a distraction at times especially at night when you’re trying to sleep Overall our stay was pleasant though and we tried the Gelateria & Grill within the hotel The ice cream and food was good I got a Reuben with fries at the grill At the ice cream place I had an Oreo shake

I will definitely be back It takes 5 minutes to walk to the Atlantic Ocean from here Deerfield beach is beautiful

I feel so relaxed staying here and it’s gonna be hard to leave Just to give a fair honest review it’s past midnight and I can hear people still hanging out at the pool so noise can be an issue I still love it though The pool is right in the center of the property and the rooms surround it That is the only thing I don’t likeThey really need 24 hour staffUpdate: March 2, 2022 They never refunded the $200 dollars back like they said they would I’m assuming they charged that for people that smoke in the rooms I have never smoked They kept that money for no reason I stayed 6 days and it was around $2,000 dollars

Austin Gutterman

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel The room was not updated like the pictures are online, plus the air conditioning in the rooms are terrible On our second night staying here we found approximately 50 bugs crawling around in our sink and coming from the walls

We went to the front desk and they were not able to do anything that night When we talked to a manager they only could do a 10% discount for that night, even though we were living in unsafe conditions I highly advise against staying here and I will never stay here again

Cathleen Hopkins

Nicely remodeled rooms This place has a courtyard pool with all rooms within 30ft Of the pool

There are parties at the pool by guests nighly until all hour of the morning Four night in a row of 15-20 people checking in and at the pool yelling and partying with no help from management They book low class party people, do not stay hear if going to sleep before midnight is important or if you have kids They do not close the pool at 8PM as advertised and stated at check in

This hotel is such a joke Went down here for a wedding and had a decent stay at the hotel until our second night, when another couple was given a key to our room and walked in on my fiancee and I This was a total invasion of privacy and just completely unacceptable management of the reservations

I then reviewed my credit card and have in insane amount of charges for well over the rate of the hotel It looks like I’ve been charged for 2 or maybe even 3 hotel rooms I have called relentlessly for the last three weeks to no response, no one returning my voicemails, and I don’t know how else to get this resolved Hopefully someone will see this and reach out, but I would stay away given the experience I had

I think some people write bad reviews to try and get their bill reduced or something for nothing as I used to work with someone who did this dailyThat being said I have been here twice in three years and currently have been here for five weeks due to a sick parentStaff is great, breakfast is fine ( didn’t expect a diner menu) my room is comfortable and made up whenever I ask

Fresh and clean First floor doom next to pool and have never seen an insect or anything other problemSome people live to complain

Mar

Not a bat hotel, has a good fridge, microwave, ac Room interior could really be worked on but outside decoration and the staff helpfulness and friendliness balances it out completelyIt also has a breakfast room and a laundry room for an extra

Your room card will die very fast if you will keep it next to the phone
