Lovely hotel, mostly hospitable staff (they do kick you out of the pool/hot tub AT 10PM – they are not playing! LOL), nice breakfast offerings, comfy bed/couch/rolling chair w coffee table & desk in room

Only real complaints are no fan in bathroom & no seating @ smoking areas8/10 recommend – good pricing for how nice it is

Friendly, welcoming staff in lovely, quieter, just-off-the-main-road location Pleasant pool/hot tub area with umbrella table seating and soft background music as well There are disposable ear phones, filtered water and sanitizer in the well-equipped fitness center–Love the fish tank in lobby! Dining service was fantastic and the grilled, 4-cheese grilled sandwich with tomato/basil soup was perfect😋

Highly recommend! I travel often and this is one of the best hotels in this price point Many hotels still do not have Netflix and other streaming service capabilities in room tv and this hotel has that and cable The gym is above average for a hotel gym

The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming and everyone seems super happy to be working here with lots of positivity Lastly, the place is spotless The hotel lobby is constantly being cleaned and wiped down The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable I have stayed here on 2 separate occasion while traveling for work for a total of 6 nights Definitely will stay again if in the area!

Great place to stay Rooms clean, staff very friendly The breakfast is great as it changes up daily

We didn’t use the pool so I can’t say as to how that was but it looked well kept and didn’t ever seem too crowded The only thing that I would say would be a negative would be coffee lol, as a big coffee drinker the coffee they provide you to make in room is not very good but the coffee offered in lobby is great so stick to that if you drink coffee regularly

Michael C

Great location, within walking or short driving distance to places to eat, drink and shop Right next to I-75 Also next to a Hilton Garden Inn (👎🏽)

Front service desk was really good The manager reception at 5:30 was awesome, free snacks, beer and wine until 7 The room was huge with it own kitchenette The TV was a little old and outdated Free breakfast with a smile in the morning I previously stayed at the Garden Inn next door Avoid that one and stay at this Homewood instead I would definitely stay here again

They have a renovation going on, which makes things a little difficult and I understand that The hotel was hardly occupied and I was placed on the 3rd floor, right next to the construction The elevator stopped going to the 3rd floor during my stay

It took 3 different trips down the stairs throughout the day and telling the front desk before finally running into a maintenance person and telling him before it was even addressed Foresight in not sticking a guest right next to construction, and if your forced to offer some type of concessions to balance the situation The rooms are very nice Just a bad experience this time around

The clerk was fantastic charmagne

Cute, funny, and nice Fast serviceQuick check in no problemThe elevators are cozy Only 3 floors of living spaceThe room was nice Two queen size bedsClean sheetsPlenty of towelsThe hallway was stuffy when you first Walk in

Hot breakfast/Good coffee Cable TV SOFT BEDS! Ac & heater works great I slept great Bright white clean linens with nice, heavy comforters Plenty of towels and towelettes 5 star all around Thank you Hampton for providing a good stay!

Nice place; very clean – nice breakfast, great coffee!! Great location for our visit necessities as well Didn’t get to use it but nice pool area Friendly staff and nicely appointed room

Only “bad” thing is be sure to turn off the “master switch” by the door in the room, otherwise the bathroom light will come on by motion sensor in the middle of the night and is quite blinding It would be a better idea to have a “night light” scenario if you’re going to use a motion sensor I’m pretty much never disappointed at Hampton Inn when I travel

I had an absolutely wonderful time staying here at Latitude 26! I stayed here in October with 2 friends The staff were all very personable, friendly and more than willing to help with any request The amenities were unlike any hotel I had stayed at anywhere else

Gas BBQ grill, gas flat top grill, outdoor gas fire tables just to name a few all of which we used with zero problem! The pool was phenomenal and the view at the back of the property was amazing as well! I HIGHLY recommend staying here if you’re ever visiting Ft Myers! The location is just minutes away from “Times Square” and several entrances to the beach!

Deserves 3 1/2 stars but had some issues staying here Reaching a live agent at the hotels front desk is as bad as cable companies giving a 5hr window for installation time I was on hold for over 20 minutes to finally have someone pick up & ended up getting a woman who didn’t speak English well & didn’t know the property too well regarding their own rooms

All I wanted to know was if my room I reserved had a microwave or an oven as I was trying to figure out what to get at the grocery store for the super bowl Once we got there I was very pleased with how clean & spacious the room was While settling in, both my guest & I wanted to take baths before the start of the super bowl and was disappointed to see there was no drain plug I phoned down to the front desk & got the same lady who didnt speak/understand English well as I asked if someone can bring a drain plug so we can take a bath 15 minutes later the maintenance man came up holding a toilet plungerwe told the guy we requested a drain plug for the tub so he went back downstairs & again 15min later he comes back & brings 2 sizes that weren’t meant for the tub as he brought a kitchen sink drain plug & a bathroom sink plug instead He asked if we wanted him to keep looking which we said would be great, about 30 minutes later he came back with the correct type built for our tub Just unfortunate as both my guest & I couldn’t take the bath before the super bowl began so he did first & I did after the game was over However the bed was extremely comfortable for a great night sleep & very clean throughout the whole room But for future vacations I may end up booking another place to try out as this place didnt really stand out However the rep who checked us in & checked us out had a very friendly good personality so kudos to her!

Mark Scholtz

The stay was good However, we were staying for a week long baseball tournament The fact that only one dryer worked for our entire stay was incredibly inconvenient based on the fact that there were several other teams staying at this location

There never seemed to be any urgency by management for a resolution and lots of frustrated parents waiting their turn well after midnight for the one operable dryer

Charlene Bolt

My review isn’t about my stay here, I was one of the new hire housekeepers when this establishment was being built I worked here for 7 days and because of covid hitting I was forced to pack up my things and move up to Orlando I let the main house keeping woman in charge named Robin know that I was leaving and gave her my address for my check to be sent to me because I worked 7 days so therefore I should be paid for 7 days

I have never received my check and that has been since 2019 I have sent emails to try and get in contact with people but nothing is responded to If you can reach out to me or my emails I would be grateful

The Hyatt Place hotel is a well-furnished hotel in a convenient area Check-in was smooth and all of the employees we interacted with were friendly and helpful Our room was modern and furnished very nicely

The bed was very comfortable Our shower got warm very quickly, maybe a bit too hot as well, but that’s not a bad complaint Our room had a wraparound couch, an ottoman, a nice smaller desk, and a small kitchen area with a refrigerator and coffee maker Although our room did lack a microwave We chose to have breakfast and in my opinion, it was above average The lobby had bagels, bread for toast, fresh fruit, a cereal selection, eggs, hash, and sausages Accompanied by orange juice, apple juice, and milkOverall, our stay was very comfortable, clean, and affordable I would recommend this hotel to anyone in the area

Nancy Castellon

I must confess, I honestly figured it was going to be a great room since it is the Hyatt But I was disappointed about them not having microwave in the rooms I asked the lady in the counter, she said we only have one in the lobby

For me it was a big disappointment, I have a little that drinks milk Having to go down from the 3rd floor to warm her milk 😔not a very good sign I also the lighting in the half-ways need to be fixed, for sure we need more light 💡 Breakfast was great, I must give them that credit One day we had sausage, eggs plus cereal and bagels Next day it was eggs , bacon, french toast plus cereals , fruits and bagels I did see they had a Starbucks inside right next to the check in desk Overall, it was an ok , not a hotel that I would visit again The pool was nice

Janese Harvey

I’ve stayed at several Hyatt Place Hotels and this location is the most dated hotel The doors and carpet throughout the hallways were wornThe metal surfaces on the elevator was nasty

I was definitely misled by the photos on the website This hotels decor looks like the decor from 10 years ago when I first stayed at a Hyatt I am very much disappointed It’s 2022 please step up your game

A Nice hotel for the most part Rooms are clean but starting to show signs of wear and love Most of the employees I saw were friendly, even the ones who didn’t have to be, so that huge plus taking them from 3 to 4 stars overall

They do keep the hallways hot, but the room AC units do a decent job of cooling Nice selection of snacks in the lobby, and surprisingly the prices aren’t bad The restaurant though has very limited breakfast options Making the restaurant by far the weakest link at this location where as most Hilton’s usually have a decent selection Lots of nice eating places within a few minutes drive I will be back

Mercedes Sereno

This place was nice and the room was very clean, we got 2 complimentary waters which came in handy This was super last minute since our flights were cancelled and needed a place to crash and recharge The bathroom was up-to-date and the beds were super comfortable

I would def recommend this hotel to those looking for a clean, comfortable place near the airport

C Cole

I wanted to give this hotel 4 stars because it’s nice And they are very accommodating with friendly staff The issues in my opinion are too great

The first is with the air conditioning It works well but the humidity control doesn’t work well so it’s cool but you’re constantly feeling a little wet too The other issue for me was with Breakfast Do not spend money on breakfast It really wasn’t very good I’m pretty sure it was all freezer to plate Otherwise there are the same issues other people have mentioned with the outdated decor All true If I were looking for a hotel again I would try elsewhere

Loved the 2 bedroom room, plenty of space, full kitchen, and was quiet We enjoyed breakfast each day and service was friendly No issues with the location either

My only complaint was the ac in the room it never felt cool and the room always felt “damp” like The carpet could definitely be replaced One of the bathrooms water pressure wasn’t the greatest or “hot” which wasn’t a problem for me since I just used the other shower But might be issue for bigger families that stay there I didn’t complain since we were only there couple of days and was doable Overall the stay went well

Joel Webb

Breakfasts are top notchRooms were spacious and modernLobby had small meeting nooks, a large breakfast area, outdoor pool, and a great workout facility

Outside exterior was being painted at the time, but construction wasn’t disturbing to residentsHotel is close to the beachAquarium in the lobby is nice touch alsoDidn’t hear any noise from neighbors or upstairs/downstairsOnly negative issue is we found a live huge cockroach in our unitInternet Speed test came in at 461Mbps

Svenja X

We really loved our room: lots of space, cozy beds, a cute kitchenette with even a dishwasher! The staff also was very friendlyBUT: our toilet absolutely did not work Whenever we used it it got clogged! We went to the reception and maintenance fixed it twice after every time we used it

We then stopped using it because apparently something is wrong with the pipes Having a room with no functioning toilet really isn’t something I was expecting from Marriott! The other problem was the breakfast: very poor choices, usually some things were already gone no matter when you came to eat I would’ve expected more from that as well

My wife and I stayed here on Father’s day weekend Overall it was a pleasant stay One issue we had with the room is the stale smell upon entry

Got used to it after the first day Great location for walking to the beach and local restaurants The only time we drove is when we went to Sanibel and Captiva islands Walked the rest of the time Pool was great to relax in Great views Will visit again soon

I stayed here for seven days July-August of this year This place is fantastic Comfortable beds, clean rooms, great pool and Tiki bar/restaurant

The staff was fantastic and very accommodating Cold A/C in the roomsThis is not the Ritz-Carlton and they’re not trying to be Nothing fancy but everything you needThe only “con” I have is that they could use some more healthy options at the restaurant!

Haley N

We had a wonderful time at the Tiki Hut Great entertainment and I have to give a shout out to the Bar Boy That kid looks to be loving life and always has a smile on his face

Also, the front desk ladies were very pleasant! The rooms are very simple and that’s just fine with us We only used them to sleep in 😀We will definitely consider this place again when we venture back to Florida

To anyone reading this that is looking for a HOTEL/RESORT, do yourself a favor and AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTSFirst of all, this is NOT a “resort,” this is a motel This is a fact

Go into street view to get a good look at the place from the outside along with the general area it’s in Then Google the definition of “motel”The photos they have on booking sites are all flattering angles of the few redeeming qualities of this place that are not at all worth the stay They knowingly omit and hide all of the unappealing things that greatly outweigh the goodHere’s my story: I booked this place for my mom to enjoy Mother’s day We were both under the impression that this would be a very nice resort to stay at because of the nice pictures they had and the overall star rating of the place We were both looking forward to it When we finally arrived, we almost immediately realized that this place is a motel We decided to still go ahead and check in The room was exactly what you would expect from a motel Low quality beds, a tiny television, a very weak air conditioner, etcWe thought it was a mistake and so we asked for another room, which they granted, and it was the same We paid about $160 for a night a crummy motel fronting as a resort What an absolute jokeLong story short, they denied our request for a refund and we found an actual hotel (Holiday Inn) literally one block from there for cheaper ($140) on a same day notice, providing a much higher quality experience I could see the miserable place from my balcony from how close it wasTrust me Avoid this place and save yourself the money and disappointment I was convinced that this place is a scam the second they refused to give me my money back Although I admittedly should have looked deeper into the place before booking it, a business with real integrity that stands by what it provides would not hesitate to provide a refund for an unsatisfied customer WHO DID NOT EVEN USE THEIR SERVICES There is no ethical justification to that and they simply took advantage of the fact that they are not obligated to provide a refund once the refund period has expiredEDIT in response to the owner’s smug response: The agency I paid through told me that the business must authorize the refund before they can go through with it Therefore your intentionally bad analogy of buying a book from Amazon and asking the author for a refund just reinforces the lack of integrity I initially wrote about Also, the prices I stated in my review were accurate for when we booked it, which was Mother’s DayHow about taking responsibility instead of trying to underhandedly save face while trying to seem like you are being graceful?

The pool area was clean and nicely maintained No hot tub The room was clean and bed was comfortable

The pull out sofa bed was old and extremely uncomfortable The cushions sagged We had to purchase a foam mattress topper to make it able to be slept on Overall the stay was enjoyable We liked the location convenient to Sanibel and the excellent diner restaurants within walking distance to the property Good lower cost alternative close to the beaches without paying premium prices for a beachfront hotel

This hotel has the most professional, friendliest, courteous employees you could ever ask for I encountered at least a dozen during my stay One more pleasant than the next

The general manager is excellent You can see how she cares about her hotel guests and her employees Breakfast was wonderful and a different selection each day Pool is beautiful and clean Hotel and rooms are clean Do not ever go to the Holiday Inn express which is right next door They have the rudest employees, the Holiday inn express is dirty, when you walk in you are not welcomed Hampton inn and suites fort myers beach fl will give you a happy, memorable experience I will stay at the Hampton inn and suites again for sure!!

GROSS!! If we weren’t so tired from traveling today we would have left immediately The room was dirty, the bathroom was filthy, the tub would not drain out, the walls are paper thin, the power went out momentary but came back on Totally not recommended! Go next door to the Holiday Inn Express for the same price! That is where we will be tomorrow night

(The only nice thing we can say is the guy checking us on was very friendly)

We were so pleased with our stay! We went on a family vacation and had no clue what to do and where to stay Our stay was great, clean rooms, friendly staff

they gave us great recommendations for family stuff to do in the area! I thought it was weird the bathroom door didn’t have a lock on it but that’s was minor We would absolutely stay here again!

If you have children & are planning to stay a couple of days, then I’d say you can “tough it out” The pool/sun tanning area in the back courtyard is perfect for kids & adult relaxation (no lifeguard) It’s updated & has lots of “curb appeal’

But if you’re a couple & want a better or upgraded experience, this may not be the hotel for you No central air Their units work, but not at optimal performance The room is musty & damp The rug never seems to be 100% dry I think the filters need to cleaned or replaced Mattress too “sunk-in” Staff friendly Excellent parking (front & rear)

Our morning flight was canceled and we quickly booked a room at the Crowne Plaza Ft Myers at Bell Towers Megan, at the front desk, was extremely helpful and understanding

She held our bags and let us know as soon as our room was ready (way ahead of check in time) Restaurant staff and housekeeping/maintenance staff were also helpful and courteous Nice workout facility and pool This is a great location with plenty of things to do to fill a day of unexpected down time

I’m going to give the truth the great, good, bad and ugly on this spot:This is a very unique hotel but I definitely would say it’s a stretch from calling it a “resort” If you are looking for an old Florida beach borderline roughing it feel this is the right one! Having said that, our entire family has had an absolute blast here !! When you pull up it’s full of color and vibrancy, but take care In knowing the parking is extremely tight and Precarious Back up cameras are a must! You will immediately be Greeted by loud and I mean LOUD party music going late into the night that you will not escape the entire time you are here

Again if you have the mindset of wanting to party this place is for you! If you want to relax in calm surroundings-stay far away I will say that once you get into your room you can’t hear it as much and you get used to it after a while Inside the room it’s extremely basic, not much seating, I would bring extra if you can and bring extra towels and blankets, the rooms are freezing! We were pleasantly surprised At how clean it was! The service from the staff is great as well as room service and quality of food , top notch !! Location seriously cannot be beat as well as price ! I’m giving it less than 5 because once you are here you will see they are just being lazy about alot of things that would make your stay more comfortable while pushing the Florida beach party vibe as their top priority If you keep this in mind you will have an amazing time here!

This hotel is excellent If you are looking for a 5 – 6 star hotel and complain about this hotel, shame on you it is not thatThis place is family and budget friendly

The place is super cute It has an excellent location Some rooms are old and some new Super fun poolsMost rooms have balconiesThe only reason I did not award 5 stars is because of the cleanliness of the room itself and some other details Room for improvement for sureI will definitely come back and next time with my family

My wife and I were stranded in Fort Meyers for an additional night and we stayed at this Hotel The Bartender staff was great and front desk was welcoming They helped me with the App to book a room right in the lobby

All you can eat Breakfast was a great value and complimentary shuttle to the airport was very much appreciated Local wildlife (Alligator) was cool to look at from a distance from the back patio, felt safe as well due to iron fence Made the best of an unexpected delay

Greetings EveryoneThis hotel stay was peaceful and a great value for the moneyThe Assistant manager Mr

Holly was the first one to greet me with a welcoming smile and hospitable the entire 6days stay I was able to check in early on the 4th of July The Hotel was hosting some of the Florida National high school baseball league players and adults It was very busy the Director of Dinning Dave and his well mannered staff, kept the Hotel breakfast buffet clean and no shortage of great food The Director of rooms kept the rooms and hallways quiet and clean I had full service for my room everyday if I needed it Clean sheet, towels, etc Tuesday was roast-beef and Friday was Tacos and happy hour with live music I was fortunate to met one of the owners Brian, a warm and hospitable gentleman who stopped what he was doing to give me a bit of his time The location has a huge parking Its located 5min drive from Golf Coast Town Center Mall and 20min drive is Shopping Miromer Outlets

Rachel

The very nice staff and the very rich pool, I really liked the fact that it closed at 11 pm The only thing I didn’t like is that there were a lot of mosquitoes in the pool but it’s normal because it’s next to a lake, the room was very clean although the design is somewhat outdated The breakfast was very good and had everything from scrambled eggs to fresh fruit

First time staying at this resort and it definitely will not be my last! Every room has a beautiful balcony view of the Gulf of Mexico 🇲🇽 😍, the rooms were spacious! Definitely enough breathing space for a family of four although I was here on a company award trip along with 20+ other co-workers (no kids) and we had a blast!! Great place to vacation for singles, couples and those with kids! Make sure to eat at Bongos which is one of the restaurants on property and have their Grouper sandwich That was my first time having Grouper and it was amazing 😋 You will not be disappointed staying here!

Last year, we took our young kids on their first trip to the beach We all had such a wonderful time! This is a perfect location on a calm, quiet beach We are going again this year and staying at Casa Playa again

We had some issues finding affordable flights this year and needed to modify our reservation Franchesca and Ed provided excellent customer service over the phone, and made it very easy to adjust our stay so that we could line up more affordable flights We are thankful and really looking forward to our stay!
