We had a great night’s stay here driving through on our way home The room was large and the pillows comfy We also had a great breakfast that saved us from yet another fast food stop on our road trip

It was quiet and we slept well The best part of this hotel came after we left My daughter forgot her stuffed animal- she is three and brings it with her everywhere We got home and realized she’d left it in the bed She was devastated I called the hotel and the employee working went above and beyond to find the stuffy, and then mailed it back to us We are so thankful!

I was looking for a room for three on our way to Wisconsin The rate was excellent, the rooms were clean and neat, and the staff was helpful Breakfast offering was limited but appreciated

Old-school, receipt-under-the-door delivery on check-out made it quick Location is right off the freeway There is an EV charging station nearbyI gave 3 stars on the room because of the tight shower, the lack of USB charging options, and limited electrical receptacles in the sleeping area I also found it difficult to find a parking spot for our truck and trailer given the orientation of the hotel and parking lots

It’s a clean place bathroom is a bit small but that’s ok the main problem I had was the room design one whole wall is a window facing the pool witch might not be that big of a problem unless you have a small child like me did in which case then she’s going around trying to pull the curtains open So you really have to be careful where you’re changing your clothes another problem I had I’m in the reservation’s over the phone

Then I got there and they almost turned me away because I’m under 21 I was almost not able to get the room that I had reserved because of my age which I was not told on the phone

We booked a room with 2 queen beds and a couch We checked in and they “decided” to just change our room setup to only 1 bed and a couch without telling us until we arrived We paid extra for the bigger room

We have 4 people to fit in this room They are not understanding and are not giving us any money back or any other type of accommodation One of us has to sleep on the floor Absolutely rude to us too Never staying here again 0/10

The hotel is very clean and comfortable throughout Andrew was very helpful during check in The mobile key wouldn’t work so I ended up getting a key made for the door

The room was spacious and the A/C worked great! The bathroom door did not shut completely, so that could be a problem if someone was sharing the roomThe only other “bad” thing is that either they have a lot of softener in their water or their products in the bathroom are just extra slimey It felt like I couldn’t completely wash off the products I used that were providedThe breakfast was really good! They had a large spread including three types of eggs (boiled, scrambled, or as a patty for sandwiches), sausage patty, biscuits and gravy, and they had a really cool oatmeal bar! I have never seen one of these at a hotel breakfast before, so that was exciting They included several different toppings like brown sugar, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, coconut, cinnamon and more! Loved it!Loved the location proximity to food as well! It shares a parking lot with Buffalo Wild Wings, but plenty of other options were available within 05-1 mile

Wow That sums up our stay at the Fairfield in Grand Island Perhaps this place was so impressive because the last place we stayed was so abysmal, but I don’t think so

Our room was surprisingly large, very clean, well maintained, with incredibly comfortable beds/pillows, and the kind of at home comfort you do not expect from a hotel Breakfast was considerably nicer than any other hotel I have stayed, the swimming pool was large & fun, staff were attentive and friendly, location is spectacular with numerous restaurants very close by, and the parkings areas were large & well lit The only criticism I could think of, and it is nit picky, is that the exhaust system in the bathroom took some time to circulate the steam out If that is the worst thing this place has to offer, you can consider it to be THE place to stay in Grand Island area

This hotel packed quite a pleasant surprise when we walked in

The room was much bigger than expected and had a separate living room/entertaining area away from the sleeping area The furniture was decent and the whole room was inviting to weary travellers after a 13hr day on the road The only part of our experience that was unpleasant was the distance from the highway to the hotel Late at night, it seemed MUCH further than it did after we were fully rested Other plusses include a Starbucks nearby and should you need it, a home depot in the same PlazaIf you’re passing by, this spot is worth the little but of extra time it takes to drive there from Interstate 80

I was in a room with two queen beds It was a good sized room I was impressed with everything the kitchen was stocked with

The stove top was a tad challenging to figure out I was on the top floor so the noise from other rooms was minimal My only complaint about the room was the lack of lighting options in the bathroom There’s no nightlight or vanity mirror light to turn on in the night, you have to go full overhead and shower I used the fitness center as well and it was great I was pretty impressed with the equipment; it was much better than other hotels I’ve been in recently It was strange that it’s in a shared space with the laundry center but it wasn’t a problem The proximity of this hotel to restaurants, stores and the mall was great

75 dollar up charge for small pets That’s more than on the Vegas Strip Be aware of the prices in this area

they are highwaymenJUSTIN Thank you for you reply You’re correct I didnt stay there because like a highwayman your establishment is price gouging pet owners We did stay in town in an equally nice hotel Were eating breakfast right now And for travelers with pets There are nice places in the Grand Island area that only charge 15 dollars for a pet

Best kept M6 I’ve ever seen Clean rooms, clean lobby, clean hallways, even the grass was well maintained Friendly staff also

Only one minor issuekey cards didn’t work in side and back doors Great dog friendly motelIn contrast we stayed at the La Quinta, Southwest in Omaha on the way to Wisconsin Also a dog friendly motel Worst place we ever stayed in Surprising La Quinta let’s their name stay on that dump

chalug

I’m not sure how this place has a 41 star rating Based on noise and maintenance, I can’t see that this place would get that rating

There is NO noise cancelling features built into this place If you have a first floor room, you WILL hear the people above you walking around If people are talking on the other side of the wall, you will hear them clearly There is a truck stop across the road The truckers leave their trucks running overnight (which, for many reasons, they need to do); but you will hear it all night longSpend a few more bucks and avoid this off the interstate motel

Unfortunately a broke down truck driver, but grateful to be in such a well maintained establishment, very simple, yet very clean rooms, wonderful customer service especially from Manager Bonnie at the front desk, they’re pool heater is down temporarily so they let me go swim next door, which was above and beyond to me The breakfast was more than perfect, hot food Great coffee and a variety of healthy options, oatmeal, boiled eggs, brand cereals, etc The beds are more comfortable than the one in my truck and at home, I haven’t slept this well in a very long time, and this is exactly what I needed after being in the truck for weeks at a time

They have exceeded my expectations and will definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a warm comfortable place to rest and relax

By far one of the cleanest, friendliest, up-to-date, and accommodating super 8 I’ve ever been to in all my life Not to mention they have this indoor swimming pool right in the middle of the hotel as a centerpiece for all to see and enjoy the night auditor was one of the sweetest and most helpful little old ladys that you will ever have the privilege and honor of meeting

the vibe in this fine establishment is one that is unrivaled and i recommend anyone stopping in the area to stay a night and see what its all about

I think the the the price was way to high for the quality of the room for a number of reasons The carpet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years, the plaster on wall between the bed and the bathroom looks like it is about ready to fall off & the shower head couldn’t be adjusted to different settings On the plus side, I was impressed with the quality of the bed, it was very comfortable and I was able to get to sleep right away and didn’t toss and turn trying to find a comfortable spot to sleep in

Now for the breakfast I tried the biscuits and gravy The biscuits were so hard I broke the fork trying to cut it and it tasted like cardboard The gravy was worse, it like it was made with stale powdered milk and freezer burnt sausage The coffee was nearly like warm On the plus side, the cereal was good

Cait B

It was a decent stay You get what you pay for honestly There is no elevator so I’m confused how that’s even legal but the breakfast has all the bare minimums

(Watery eggs, sausage gravy, dry biscuits, bread for toast, a small 4 waffle maker, 2 cereals, always had Bananas the entire week we stayed that was the only fruit) Nothing changed in variety ever It’s pet friendly so the rooms do have plenty of scratches and patched spots The A/c smells old STILL after claiming they’ve recently cleaned it but all we did was sleep there, so it did its job Yes its VERY loud We did however end up getting quite a few bites on our bodies after the cleaning team came in We only got our room cleaned ONCE because I read previous reviews and we didn’t have any issues with bites, so I figured why mess with our experience NOPE on our way home which was over 18 hours we were itching up a storm, we keep finding more now With all the issues this hotel should stop accepting pets cuz someone keeps bringing their animals in with fleas or something there are SO many issues So sadly we got bit too otherwise I wouldve left a 4 star Od recommend for a night or 2 but anymore than that I’d probably recommend somewhere else

Spencer Kariniemi

Mold everywhere Anywhere not easily accessible had crumbs and debris Mold on pillows, towels, walls, etcWe had a 5 night reservation and at 10am after the first night we went to cancel due to all the mold ( had checked in late night before) and they said they can’t cancel- it had to be Expedia

We contact Expedia and they say they can’t cancel- it has to be the hotel Finally we get Expedia to contact the hotel and the hotel cancels but charges us for the 2nd night due to “cancellation policy” To my knowledge I didn’t sign up for a moldy room so I’m not sure how they justify that I talked with manager who says he was the owner as well and he “couldn’t do anything about it”I won’t be going to Days Inn or Wyndham owned places anymore!

Amenities ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️THIS PLACE IS HUGE! I’ve stayed here numerous times, and back when I was a youngster we would frequent this hotel for the convention center They have large spaces to reserve for an eventBIG Indoor Pool ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️We didn’t get to use, but it looked better than I had remembered

Even the outside courtyard looks like a good place to hang or have, BBQ, or have a small party 🤔Weight/Workout Room ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – at a Glace it appears small, probably only 2-3 people max would be comfortable, but it will do the trick for what you need while traveling 💪🏻 🔑 **Key available at front deskBreakfast ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Options: Scrambled eggs, tortillas, biscuits and country gravy, potatoe squares, made by you waffles, bakery goods, milk, yogurts, cereal, and juice Huge selection, and kept warm Not allergy friendly (but it was nice to have warm breakfast food)Comfort ⭐️⭐️⭐️Don’t forget your own pillow, blankets, or fan if you’re not one who easily sleeps in a strange bed/place The bed was horribly stiff, not very comfortable, and the walls are not sound proof! FYIOverall good place to stay for a night, plenty of options for all ages, and reasonable prices ($$)

Sara Vierregger

Rooms are clean and beds are super comfy, breakfast is always big usually consisting of biscuits and gravy, eggs, bacon or sausage, waffles, etc Staff are always nice The pool has been closed for renovations and won’t be open til February

There is a bar with pool tables and darts located by the front desk You can also hold events like wedding receptions here There was a Dennys attached but has since closed down Would recommend this hotel

Shannon Knaak

Hotel room was very clean but the air conditioning didn’t work well and the carpet was damp under foot The shower also didn’t work and when we told them at the desk they said you had to pull and turn at the same time??? We pulled so hard we thought we would break it Needs some updating but a good value if you don’t need a shower or air conditioning

The total ignorance of the front desk staff at 6:30 pm completely turned our stay into a mess They couldn’t find our reservation, which was made by phone call and not on line When she finally found it, we paid by credit card and it said it was approved but the desk clerk said it wasn’t

She then said we needed to use a different card which we did not want to but we did because she gave us no other choice The next card was approved so now we have paid twice, and we showed her on our phone that it had come out twice and she said there was nothing she could do so our 2 cards had been charged for a total of $45000, she clearly had no idea what she was doing and she obviously didn’t care She told us to stop down in the morning and they could fix it then When we did the morning clerk knew nothing about it and said we would have to wait until at least Tuesday before it would be corrected! No one clearly cared that I had been charged $450 instead of the $19600 I was told I would pay The next morning our room card would not work so that had to be corrected also, so it is very obvious she had no idea what she was doing We feel we should get ALL of our money back for this mess we have to go through

Vera Tjarks

When we arrived she couldn’t find our reservation and when she finally found it I used my credit card and it went through and she said it didn’t, then when I told it did go through she said I needed to use another card and I did and it went through also and I was charged twice and she said she couldn’t do anything about it, the 11pm person would have to take care of it so the next morning I went to see what was done and he told me they couldn’t put the charge back on my card until Tuesday! I’m very frustrated with them and will not stay there again
