I’ve been staying here pretty much since it opened I have alot of business in the area, and it’s perfectly placed to access all of the cities and counties in this part of northeast Georgia I’ve stayed here over 10 different times, and it’s always the best place in the area

The rooms are clean, the breakfast is what I expect from an Express, and the staff is typically friendly and helpfulI regularly see the hotel staff having meetings to discuss the business, which tells me they’re trying to keep a high morale and keep the staff informed

2022 May 29: Room had a slight cigarette smell and a blinking battery icon on the thermostat Mentioned to the manager who had the battery replaced Room retained its unique aroma

Discovered the room had only one large shower towel as I got out of shower after my wife Found the same situation the next morning after mentioning the lack of 2 shower towels to the front desk the day beforeBreakfast is their standard fastfood fare of eggs, sausages, biscuit and gravyAs a gold member, this particular Holiday Inn was not one of the better ones that I’ve stayed at

This is a really great hotel It’s a couple of years old but I found that surprising because it looks and feels brand new It’s got a very modern look and the lobby has got a beautifully colored design and is very comfortable and welcoming

Also welcoming is the staff! Lavonte and Sonia, the general manager were both so friendly and hospitable when I checked in, they made me feel like they were genuinely glad to have me as a guest The room itself also has a stylish design and most importantly was spotlessly clean The air is fresh and the bed was crisply made, and the bathroom was shining All around an exceptional experience I can’t recommend it more highly I’ll definitely be returning

Lamont Jackson

This is my favorite I travel a LOT!!! Holiday Inn Expresses are ALWAYS clean I have never met a rude member of the staff

I like that team members are familiar and that they provide quick services I try to make sure I give credit where and when credit is due, so I want to leave a good reviewThe fitness area is well lit and actually has a shade, so you’re not on display It’s a bit tricky to turn into Wait until you see the sign before you turnBreakfast is always hot and tasty (and part of your room fee)

Jocelyn Anderson

The staff was so kind, lovely and accommodating, but upon check in, the room WAS NOT CLEAN The shower was full of hair and there was dirt in the corners The sheets had stains, so I cleaned the room with Lysol wipes and asked for clean sheets & towels

We’ve all seen articles or news segments showing that hotels are just not that clean, but to be nasty during a pandemic is simply unacceptable I’m giving them a one for two reasons: I stayed at a Holiday Inn on Catalina Island 3 years ago and it was only marginally clean But there was no pandemic, so I got over it But now I’m really done with them Being nasty now isn’t just a matter of appearance It’s a public safety issue and IHG doesn’t take it seriously, which means they don’t deserve my business

Absolutely excellent for the price!A couple of slight imperfections with the room itself: The closet door was off its track completely, and there were signs of recent renovations with the tub – neither of those were major concerns because we were only staying for the weekendEverything else was fantasticThe room itself was great – big enough for our needs, wonderful, spacious whirlpool tub, very soft beds, more than ample hot water and water pressure in the shower

Very quiet! The free breakfast was fine; filling and reasonably tasty, especially since it was free Could be a bit of a moot point for some, as the hotel is within walking/quick driving distance of many different eating options from fast-food to hibachiThe real reason for the 5 star review is the service! The staff was uniformly friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating Extra towels, pillows, and bedding available on request without delay The check-in and check-out processes were both easy as pie!

Beverly Jaggers

Just let me say I thought everything was nice and clesn , the food was good, the ladies at check in and check out were nice and polite! The only problem I have that will keep me from staying at this location is the fact that my nephew and his friend had something missing and that should not have happened! And when we asked about it the lady that was supposed to clean the room and did not she just look at us and hunched her shoulders like I dont know did not say a word or didnt say did you look here or there but one of the other ladies told us they probably on her cart so I wonder if she seen the ear buds on the cart and my nephew was getting a message that his was there somewhere; It was disappointing because I’ve never had a problem at any comfort suites

First time staying here and it was worth the price I enjoyed the view of Chateau Elan from my hotel room It was clean, fresh smelling, and large for the cost of the room

It was quite during my stay and the staff was friendly Breakfast was provided in the morning from 6am – 10am and although on the basic side of offerings, it was delicious I would stay here again if giving the chance

R W

Pros: Great location on winery property, general clean appearance in common areas, hotel room seemed clean, front desk staff was friendlyNeeds improvement: very loud air conditioner that doesn’t properly dehumidify room, house keeping seems lazy and doesn’t use the right bedsheet size and then proceeds to make it sloppy after requesting to have it fixed, trash wasn’t taken out/no cleaning was done when requested We are paying over $200/night during the week to stay here and expect better from this hotel chainEdit/update: Management helped rectify the situation at the end of our stay, so we feel better that the issue was acknowledged

Maria Schwartz

Great location, clean, mediocre breakfast Nice views from anywhere on the hotel property of Chateau Elan Estates Breathtaking view of the vineyards

Love the hammock out back Safe location Pretty quiet Brittany at the front desk was awesome and helpful Peggy not so much Not helpful especially the topic of requesting housekeeping She became defensive and argumentative Hence the 4 star review rather than 5 stars One plus was the Chateau Elan wines were cheaper than at the winery and tasting room

My husband and I stayed at Chateau Elan this past weekend for our anniversary weekend We had not planned to spend a small fortune, but did – simply on food and 1 spa service The massage was mediocre at best

We paid for a couple’s 50 minute full body massage and the staff didn’t massage my whole body I mentioned it to the front desk staff and they didn’t seem to care They were already paid and charged the gratuity automaticallyIt was nice to have the shuttles from one building to another It was also nice to have so many restaurants on-site, albeit costly We had hoped to visit the winery on Saturday, but the shuttled-in “wine tour” groups overtook the space leaving no area to simply chill out in So, we went to the Marc’s bar and just ordered cocktails I just felt like they were catering to the external wine tasting groups, and not to their guestsWe also had zero vanity lighting in our bathroom the extent of our stay, which was not too fun Overall, the accommodations were nice, beautiful common spaces, friendly staff

Katrina Bonds

We decided to do something different for Christmas Day and had dinner at Chateau Elan The buffet had too many options to name There were stations set up with too many options to name

Some of the stations had servers and some were self serve The servers all wore masks There was an entree station, meat carving, salad, desserts, and seafood Everything was delicious Our waitress was very attentive and encouraged us to take our time, which we did The price included food and non alcoholic beverages After dinner we walked around and went to the winery, purchased a bottle of wine and sat outside to enjoy it Overall a great experience!*We did not stay overnight, just spent the day there

Marri Glass

Beautiful location Great hospitality from the staff Had the salmon

the flavor was not something to wake my palate, plus for the portions, a starch would help to keep one from feeling the meal was not worth the price Now the cheesecake, oh my, that was divineIf you are going to the tasting room, make sure you wear something you can stand in for at least an hour on concrete, it may take a minute to find a seat

We stayed for two nights for a wedding and this was the worst Marriott property we have ever stayed at We checked in online and when we got to our room it smelled moldy and like old wet towels We told the front desk and since it was a sold out weekend we could not get a new room, instead we were given Mango room spray to try and make it better

The room wasn’t clean either There was a dead centipede on the bathroom floor and old yellow streaks in the shower The bedding on one of the beds also had stains on it After our first night we spent most of the morning in our hotel room and when we left for the wedding at 3pm we went to the front desk and asked if we could get our room refreshed while we were out and they said no Because housekeeping left at NOON So we asked if we could at least get fresh towels and have the old ones taken out When we returned from the wedding we did get the fresh towels but they didn’t take any of our old ones out of the room Overall just an Abysmal level of service from the hotel staff and lack of care and cleanliness for our room Don’t pay Marriott prices to stay here because we didn’t get Marriotts level of service

Sarmad Zafar

It was not a great experience due to staff We were driving to Atlanta and decided to get off the highway and get some sleep It was 5:30 AM Tues morning

We checked the online rates which were decent enough but we could not book online because the online system don’t let you book for the night for the previous date The front desk gave us a much higher rate and did not adjust the rates from their standard We got in the room dead tired, changed, checked emails and set the alarm for 11:00 AM since the checkout time is noon Unfortunately the alarm did not go off and I woke up around 11:50 AM I called the front desk and requested that I got the room at 5:30 AM and can I have an extra hour and check out at 1:00 pm so we can take shower and get ready The lady at the front desk denied the request flat out and said that max she would give me is an extra 15 mins (12:15 pm) We were bit upset and we just picked up our stuff and left like 11:59 am I don’t think I will spend another night in any Fairfield Hotel ever again

Jalissa Casey

If i could give zero stars I definitely would This place was absolutely disgusting and the customer service was horrendous My husband literally had to search for someone for us to check in

We got a suite and we found a spider in our bed, large dents and damage to the walls that seemed to be “hidden” by the tv, and a huge roach made it’s presence known on the wall in the living room area I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone While I am grateful we were able to receive our refund, the place was terrible Do not recommend by a long shot!!

Excuse our mess we were running running and our kids had just left This hotel was very dirty bugs on the floor, dust every where, the blankets were super thin, the bathroom was so small no room to get dressed, the bathtub was dirty, slippery, the heating unit didn’t work like it should it would run for a few minutes then kick off but it was still cold My husband and I were not happy with our stay

We will be going back to an IHG facility where the beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean

Steven D Cochran

Stayed for 2 nights When I checked into my room everything looked great I was very pleased

I asked about breakfast and was told between 6 and 9 Bed slept good Didnt give 4 star because breakfast was pure pitiful Cereal, muffins, yogurt That might be ok for kids For a $100/night you would think breakfast would consist of some real food Could have stayed at cheap motel and ate breakfast at a restaurant for much less Ripoff!!

Kevon Lindenberg

There weren’t any bugs, the staff was friendly, and the rooms were clean I wouldn’t recommend this place highly, but this part of Georgia is pretty slim pickens and their price is the lowest in the area of commerce for a motel The bathtub had no seal so I couldn’t take a bath, the breakfast was meh, and it’s right on the freeway so make sure to bring your ear buds to sleep

My first 2 stays were just fine, no problems at all I stayed in rooms 318 and 223 on the first to stays

butthis third stay didn’t go as planned Everything seemed routine until I was rudely awakened out of my sleep at 2am by BEDBUG BITES!!! The bed closest to the window in room 426 has BEDBUGS! I didn’t even attempt to lay in the other bed This happened on 4/1/22 I went and immediately had my room switched as far away from 426 as possible The staff member who was working the front desk was super nice about it and switched my room without any issue I checked out the next day None of the managers have even contacted me about the incident and it’s been 3 days so far I only did this review to warn other people about the BEDBUGS in room 426

Eddie Turner

It’s been a long time since I stayed in a “roach motel” I chose to pay more to stay in this hotel than more affordable options in the area I thought I would have a better experience but it’s been far from it

I notified the front desk and the general manager All seem ambivalent I came back to my room after a long day of business and still had dead roaches on the floorMy room had not been fully closed when the housekeeper left so anyone could have stolen from me while I was away To top things off the housekeeper left her cleaning rags on my countertop Disgusting!Avoid this hotel!

Veronica Hendricks

Stayed here several times love it However I lost my glasses the lady I spoke to let me know she would leave a note and gave a time I would be more likely to be helped I got off at 8 am called around 10am and got Kenny or Kenneth either way this guy told me several times that day he would call me in thirty mins and never did,I called the third day and was hung up on and this guy continually acting as if I was bothering him he should never answer the phone and he has no business in the front dealing with customers if he can’t handle phone calls professionally

I to have had to work the front of a hotel and do house keeping so I have no understanding Otherwise the stay was great ad always!!!

DIRTY ROOMS, HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT, INCOMPETENT EMPLOYEES, AND PLUMBING ISSUES We were assigned to room 325 Upon arrival, the linens and bathroom were dirty

Our room was cleaned once during our seven day stay, and it was still dirty The toilet did not work properly during our entire stay After discussing the issue with front desk personnel multiple times, they still refused to move us to a different room with a working toilet A working toilet should be a basic amenity The employee at the front desk stated they could not move us unless there was a “known issue” I suppose notifying her that the toilet was not working was not sufficient On the fifth day, a gentleman working the front desk had to come plunge feces out of the toilet Again, we were not moved to a different room The owner, Mr Chetan Patel, abruptly hung up in my wife’s face while they were discussing our grievances At the conclusion of our stay, I asked for a receipt The employee at the front desk would not even assist me with the simple task of getting a receipt This is the most unprofessional establishment I have ever encountered If you value cleanliness, good service, and working plumbing please choose a different property

Kim eichenberger

Where do I begin? The smell was awful The beds were miserable This is one of those hotels that whoever owns it, puts band-aids over all the problems

The breakfast eggs were so salty, I literally had to spit them out Looks like they take a ton of shortcuts The elliptical works for 1 min- I know that sounds crazy but both my husband and I tried it and it was so frustratingThey didn’t clean our room, even after we specifically asked Which would have been forgivable if the stair and hallway floors were cleanWhen I was checking in, they had given a different guest a room that already had people in it Very unorganizedWhen I went to check out, I wasn’t even asked, “How was your stay?” Very disappointed Customer service is very important to me and this hotel has noneMy recommendation would be to spend a little more down the road We stayed here March 2022

On the surface everything looked fine but I want to closer inspection of the room there are some issues Dirty receptacles exposed the faucet in the shower never fully went to shower so the bathtub filled up with water while you were showeringOne of the elevators is it working properly

The door is closed but the elevator never goes anywhere and they just open and you hit the button again and then they close and then they openThe lobby bathroom is absolutely atrociousThe restaurant downstairs was very nice the pool was good the kids were happy but they didn’t see the things I saw

David Thomas

Not sure why this hotel has a 3 star rating, it is 2 stars at best Carpet in the room was old and stained, no hot water in the bathroom sink and overall the room felt cheap and dirty Breakfast was a joke, not even close to their competitors, scrambled eggs, something in foil, toast, coffee and one juice

Cereal bins were empty with no other options There are much better hotels for around the same cost

michael scialabba

I really can’t believe a Wyndham hotel could be this bad I’ve stayed in many and unfortunately this particular one Read the reviews everyone is providing accurate information

This Ramada is disgusting We needed 2 rooms last minute 1 we had to switch because it smelled so horrible The other seamed fine until I went to take a shower and noticed the drain plug was sitting on the side of the tub Well that was because the drain had feces in it Just Yuck!

Stayed 3 nights in a suite It was spacious and very pleasant The suite has a large sitting room with a couch, coffee table, a couple of sitting chairs, and a desk

Then through double french doors is the bedroom with a dresser, nice TV, nightstand and bed(s) The TVs were nice and had great pictures The staff were very polite and helpful, a million times better than across the interstate at the Country Inn The sole reason I am giving 4 and not 5 stars is that the furniture and appliances were pretty dated The couch cushions were worn to were you can see space in between each one and it had a rather large (very old, faded) stain The turn dial microwave didn’t spin and was not usable They also serve hot breakfast each morning I hate biscuits (they serve gravy as well), sausage, yogurt, and milk every morning; but they also had eggs, fruit, cereal, and breads The rate was only 139 for Wednesday and Thursday night (I believe it went to 209 for Friday night) Overall, for the money, it was a nice, relaxing stay with plenty of space

John Strollo

Staff was great, but as soon as I got to my room I looked on the bed – there were all kinds of different bodily hairs right there where id lay my head Then peeled up the sheets and there’s all kinds of ‘weird’ brown and red stains on the actual mattress? Also, I felt like there were so many precautions and deposits needed before checking in, as if they assume I’m the one who’s going to dirty that mattress anymore than it already was ✌️

Joel Hefner

Room was clean No noticeable mold smells or trash laying about Clean linen and other amenities available

Issues with the hotel room: TV on the wall was severely leaning to one side, so that was annoying The shower head was leaking and sprayed all over the wall whenever you took a shower The main door to the room would not lock or even shut all the way (didn’t notice that until the third day of staying there You could just push on it and it would open, luckily nothing was stolen from my room… Faith in humanity +3 points)Breakfast was pretty good Staff friendly and helpful Just majorly lacking in the maintenance department is allAlso conveniently located right next to a gas station and Publix grocery store

We loved this hotel!! The price was very fair and the staff was amazing Jeff the overnight concierge is awesome So helpful friendly and goes above and beyond to help accommodate us in any way

He is also very welcoming The room was clean and cozy and so comfy The shower had the perfect temperature and pressure We love the fact that the pool was open late and the atmosphere was very nice and pretty at night with all the outdoor lights It was very peaceful there and loved the outdoor smoking area with the seating benches for my husband Breakfast was so good and tasty and hot! If you have kids they will love the automatic pancake maker! It’s so convenient A plus in our book

The hospitality is always great here! The breakfast is always good Meghan is always pleasant and cheerful in the mornings Definitely helps to get the day off to a good start

The rooms are always clean and the beds are very comfortable! To my fellow truck drivers, there is truck parking However, you may have to blindside back a little or go up a little, spin around and come back to it This is a very safe, clean, and pleasant environment Looking forward to the next visit at this location

Room is definitely not worth over $100 a night! Air conditioner was not left on in room in the middle of July Room was 89° for any hotel that is a name brand The AC or heat should be running for guest checking in! I stayed in room 202 because no downstairs rooms were available

There is no elevator, only stairs This is an outside corridor hotel which is fine but This hotel is a $75 hotel with it being an outside corridorThe outside does look great, But the inside is just a basic hotel Cheaply painted tub No Tub Stopper for the bath, bugs in the light fixtures, Sloppy Tile Work no better than A Sure Stay by Best Western or a quality Inn by Choice Hotels and that’s why they shouldn’t be asking the prices that they are This isn’t a Best Western Plus, keep your prices in check

Not exactly sure if my recollection is accurate, but I just stopped in to explain I needed a quick place to stay and could only pay via Google or Samsung Pay Employee checking me in was interrupted real quick to be told that they aren’t accepted, as if I was up to no goodI had simply lost my wallet after hectic past few days and needed a place to stay, but o still had my digital wallet

Rooms are clean, but I had multiple bags when I checked into this place, but when I checked out, a duffel bag with very important things in it!! Went missing!! I personally did not check out!! My stuff was brought to the front desk by someone, and I was told by the desk staff person that I had been checked out!! I asked about a bag that wasn’t there, and food I had purchased that also wasn’t there!! They said this is all that was brought down from your room!! Wirst experience in in very long time with hotels!! Not a recommended place, 😑 😒 😕 who takes a person’s luggage out of there room and then says, well this is all you had!!!!!!!! NOPE, NOPE, NOPE!!

This is an older hotel that has had some updating We booked a jacuzzi suite to celebrate Valentine’s Day early I was disappointed that the room was dusty, the floor was dirty and the bed sheets had stains on them

Luckily, I clean everything in a room before we use it, so it wasn’t horrible enough to ask for another room Breakfast was really good and the staff was friendly

We stayed at specific Best Western because they had the Jacuzzi in the room First night I get in and realize quickly it had not been cleaned Long black hairs and a white film everywhere

We stayed an hour away from our destination just to have the jacuzzi tub This was my bday my weekend and we were very disappointed Even after them saying they cleaned it we couldn’t get in it 😔 the room itself was very nice
