We really enjoyed our stay here We weren’t expecting too much as it was just a place to sleep on our roadtrip to Canada, but we were really pleasantly surprised The staff was so personable (I wish I could remember her name now), the breakfast options were great, the lobby area really clean, the rooms were nice and large, and bedsheets a nice color and clean

I couldn’t wait to leave a nice review for them because they really helped us to start our trip off rightWe stayed at a Sheraton the next few nights and thought that would be highlight of our trip since it is a Sheraton, after all, and was $100 more than this La Quinta Inn But this La Quinta was better in their customer service, staff friendliness, etc than that Sheraton lol This is great place , especially, for the price I definitely recommend They take pride in their work

This is the first hotel review I’ve ever written I’ve stayed in hotels of all levels This hotel was $100 per night and wasn’t worth $50

Completely low-grade There was dirt on the lobby floor, garbage in the elevator, our toilet didn’t work and our remote control didn’t work I had to go to the lobby to use the bathroom Terrible place I travel through this area often and I would never come back to this hotel If you see it from the highway, keep driving

Chris Roucoulet

Me and my 2 kids were traveling The website doesn’t tell you that the pool is offsite Then after finally finding the pool we are told there isn’t a lifeguard on duty and we can’t swim

We would’ve kept driving Won’t stay here again Should be false advertising They get the second star because it is at least clean and the staff is nice But after dealing with 2 upset kids I was definitely not happy

We stayed here on our way from Watkins Glenn State Park to the Animal Adventure Park Was a pretty nice hotel in a pretty good location to food and other stores The Staff at the main desk were very friendly

The rooms were clean, just a bit worn like most hotels are, could use an make over especially the bathroom The elevator made a heck of a noise when we went up to the 3rd floor, from then on until we left we used the stairs as our room was just down from them The breakfast area was good and clean with a good choice of foods Would stay here again if in the area

As I sit poolside… with my family I find myselff looking around the room for pool use hotel towels To my surprise NONE available

With a quick trip to the front desk i find an associate (no name tag so i cant point fingers) on her cell phone with no care to my issue Towels were asked for numerous times by the family and i figured let me have my hand at it She explained in very few words “we have no towels, try again perhaps in the morning” I guess im supposed to use my personal 2 towels from room at pool too How convenient Shake my head

Great location, beautiful view Its close enough to major travel roads to get anywhere pretty efficiently I shared a room with 2 queen beds with another adult

The room was actually very spacious, so it didn’t feel like we were in each other’s space at all The bathroom was nice too, with a large bathtub and shelving under the sink for accessories/ toiletries (there was a hair dryer provided on the bottom shelf) Finally there are a few other facts I wanted to mention, such as; A big closet by the front door , TV, refrigerator, the windows don’t open obviously, and the breakfast by the lobby was great

Gary Murdock

This is a beautiful Hotel, we stayed one night and had three rooms, this was a family vacation and we were just passing through We had a king bed corner suite and it was very spacious, the other two rooms were 2 queen bed rooms, which were also a good size roomThe staff were very friendly and helpful, there is a bar and a restaurant on site

But at the prices they charge for breakfast, we opted to eat elsewhere, I feel for what we had paid for our rooms, breakfast should have been included

Nicholas Morano

It’s under renovation and you can see why Service was absolutely outstanding, Josh was extremely helpful our entire stay and others at the desk were always helpful an d prompt I would stay there again, & hopefully the updating will be finished by then

Quick elevators, and great location, with the staff they already have in place there is huge potentialThe bistro menu could use a facelift too

The place itself was average but the staff are amazing especially the night shift front desk employee Sadi (probably spelled wrong)She was friendly and personable and a problem solverThere was an issue with my room and she aimed to satisfy me 100% and it literally made everything betterShe deserves a raise !! I can also say the gentleman at the front desk on 6/12 was also awesome! Whoever does the hiring gets a thumbs up on picking the right people! Thank you!

Mark Riggi

The hotel was nice and comfortable I have stayed here many times The breakfast offering was terrible

The bread for toast was stale and the had very little ceresl available The plastic wrapped hot fod was disgusting and looked inedible This was very disappointing for a Marriott property and should be looked into I have always stayed in Marriott properties but Hilton is starting to look better

Dana

The rooms were clean and the service was exceptional!! Extremely pleasant staff!! We checked in late after traveling all day and Bill, the gentleman working the front desk, was extremely friendly and so helpful! We appreciated his smile and kindness after a long day on the road, so much so that we sought out a Fairfield Inn every night after while on our trip and were not disappointed at any of them! I highly recommend this hotel! Bill, who worked the evening of 10-28-21 deserves a bonus and recognition for being such a kind young man and great employee!!

Arriving to our hotel room, we were met with dog and human hair between the sheets The door handle to our toilet was falling apart The ac unit sounded like a diesel generator

We went to the front desk and there was no one there to tend to us Nevertheless, we made attempt to clean the bed ourselves since we were in need of a good night’s rest At 1 am we were awaken with doors banging, yelling and loud laughter from next door We called to the front desk to handle the situation but as I write this review at 2:30am, the loud disturbances continue For a hotel whose motto is “to offer travelers a consistent, warm and welcoming experience With all the amenities you need to be at your best, our hotels will help you feel rested and ready to take on the day” you all lack tremendously and fall short of the promises made to customers… especially for the price paid Cleanliness and some degree of quietness are enough to ask for from you all If there was an option to give this establishment a 0 star rating, I would not hesitate With those things in mind, I will no longer do business with this hotel chain

Safford Delivery and Transportation Services

Got here kind of early with my rig( Tractor Trailer) was able to swing all the way around the building with a 48-ft flatbed and had enough parking on the right side of the building to accommodate my truck Stepped out for dinner and came back and the parking lot was full with other trucks Including a car carrier that they made special accommodations for, The front desk called the owner of the hotel to ask permission for the gentleman to park in the front but so that he wouldn’t have to drive another minute on the road to find another safe place to park for the night

That to me is worth a review because truckers are normally the forgotten and that shows an exceptional level of commitment to customer satisfaction and the overall safety of our drivers on the road The gentleman who drove the rig parked in the front of the building was not one of our drivers but he belongs to the thousands of truckers that keep America rolling every day For that we thank you Comfort Inn! You have definitely earned our future business!

Another short staffed location Garbage cans overflowing Not enough help at check-in

Rooms not 100% clean But, nice decor in rooms, refrigerator, microwave Awesome, complimentary breakfast with hot food items Bring back to room if you’d like Worth getting up early for!Tip: Cheaper if you book online then if you just walk in Even if you do it in parking lot then go inside

Stacy, the manager at the front desk was phenomenal I was in desperate need of a hotel at 8 am, after mine was in no condition to stay at I had just worked 13 hours over night and she was so polite and accommodating to me on such short notice

She was quick, courteous and so gracious to let me check in hours early so I could sleep The room is nice, clean and smells good I cannot thank Stacy enough for such impeccable customer service! I have booked the rest of my stay here because she was so kind when I was so desperate to find a nice place to sleep Thank you again, Stacy!!

Megan Gorski

My family stayed there after a storm that knocked out our power for 4 days, we were on the third floor of the hotel, I was told by the clerk they don’t use anymore, a week later I was charged for damages that never happened When I asked for a proof of the damages I was told they threw the lamp shade away and didn’t take a picture I asked for a manager to call me

I never received that call, I stopped in to the hotel twice and the second time the clerk called my a liar and said I was never getting my money back I was charge $250 for a lamp shade they told me was drawn on This did not happen They told me because they don’t use that floor no one but my family was in that room before or after us but the hotel was completely booked the day before we got a room because the entire county had a power outage We had to wait for people to check out to get a room closer to home I will never stay in a Comfort Suites again These hotels are franchises so the corporate team can’t help you either

Queens Recognize Queens

I’d give them a zero if I could Called at night after traveling and was told it was $113 a night Got there, signed the receipt, and the second night was $183

Decided to check out after 1 night Pull out bed was FILTHY!!!!!! Pillows on bed are half the size of regular pillows, provided soap, etc was not even all the same brand Heater had a broken part on it, and phones in the room DID NOT WORK Was told they’d “look into it”’ Breakfast was subpar One waffle machine was down, and the juice machine was broken Room food was prepared in smelled gross, and looked dirty Nothing hot offered other than waffles Look at my account statements today and they charged me FOUR times!!!! The full cost including the second day I didn’t stay Another charge for $225, and two charges for smaller amounts Called and was told wait until Tuesday for everything to clear Such a scam king location, DO NOT STAY!!! No matter how much you want to “save” it’s NOT WORTH IT AT ALL

After golfing 18 holes, my friend lost his hat on a back 9 tee box, after we respectfully waited for the owner to tee off before driving past him, we were told we couldn’t drive through the back nine because we paid to play 18 holes, we told them we weren’t playing and they told us to wait for them to golf 9 and they would bring it back to us at the clubhouse As if we were going to wait for 2 hours for them to bring it to us instead of driving 5 mins to get it

Haley Babe77

Our family stopped here on a recommendation from a friend who was on vacation and set up for the week We are readying our home for a move across country and needed a spot for us, 3 teens and our 2 dogs We have been here around 9 or 10 days now

And I have to say that I am sad to go Everyone here, for the most part, has been awesome Friendly owners, permanent campers and visitors Our site is an extremely easy in and out for our 32 foot rig Dump station, plenty of Porta potties, showers and lots of space And we got alot of use out of the golf course My husband has pretty much mastered the back 9 Nice clean pool as well! When we travel back to NY, we will definitely come back Thank you Fire Fox for your warm hospitality!

Tom LeConey

Pulled into Fire Fox, registered in office Given directions to site Started driving to site, passed two men on mowers who waved to us

Went approximately 100 yards passed them and hooked an electric wire wound around a steel cable which was low hanging and it took off my bedroom air-conditioned Capground told us to our face they would file a claim with their insurance company because damage to our unit was their fault A day later after we returned home and contacted our insurance company, we were informed Fire Fox refused to file a claim stating damage was our fault Fox Fire does not honor their word and use extreme caution trying to get your rig into your site

From the time we entered the Hampton Inn and Suites in Vestal, we felt welcome… the registration staff were very friendly and helpful The rooms were extremely comfortable and clean The breakfast staff were wonderful

We started at a higher rated hotel before going here The higher rated hotel was terrible compared to this hotel The staff was friendly, helpful, and very attentive to our needs

The room was spacious and very clean We will be going back to this hotel when we are ready to get away for a long weekend I would recommend anyone to stay at this Hampton Inn!

stayed here recently while in town for school event with my kid the location is great, easy to access, lots of food and multiple starbucks to choose from The lobby is big and bright

There is plenty of parking I wasn’t impressed with bed or sheets and the radiator was loud The noise could have been just for my room The bathroom was great and large and even had a night light which was a plus

Clean, simple There is free coffee in the morning☕️ and the option to purchase snacking foods The staff have taken the time to give suggestions to places to go and restaurants

One star is removed as Brittany at the front desk could use etiquette coaching Per the instructional signage, I stood a few feet away from her front desk and waited for her to cue me to the front I was ignored while she typed at the desk Then another guest (who hasn’t been waiting) approaches and unbeknownst to him, cut me off and engages in communication with Brittany She responds to him I tell the man that I’ve been waiting to communicate with her as there is a line Generally this would prompt an apology Instead, I’m further ignored My feedback is do not reward line cutters, and acknowledge customers who are waiting to speak with you Even if you cannot get to turn asap, that’s okay Tell them it will be a minute and then work with those in line first

One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in My room was never cleaned during a 12 day stay, even after repeated requests Dust and mold in the room

Hotel smells like pot all the time Front desk refused to check me in and made me come back later Coffee pot in room broke and they had no replacements No extra blankets or pillows upon request No recognition or upgrade even though I am a platinum IHG member Took forever for parking lot to be cleared after snow storm And we lost power for 5 hours, with no update, notification, or even generator in hotel Absolutely will NEVER stay here again

Breanna Brown

I am a night shift travel nurse, even though I only needed to stay during the day, I booked and paid for two nights, so that I could check in when I got off my shift in the morning at 7:30, and check out by 6pm When I showed up at 7:30, I was told I needed to come back at 3pm to check in, even though I had paid for the night before The manager was extremely rude

This is the first and only hotel that has given me an issue with this, the reason I pay for the night before is so I can arrive at 7:30 am I was luckily able to find a hotel that allowed me to check in early, but I will absolutely never be staying with any hotels with this chain ever again

Hotel was a great value-the room was very clean and spacious and had a fridge and microwave as well Was very happy with the cleanliness The outside of the hotel and the area are another story but was glad about the room condition

Also the breakfast is a total joke…there was barely any fruit, two yogurts left and a few packaged muffins and some cereal! That was it-no bread either! Plan to get your own breakfast in the morning

Sherri Mcevoy

The first room that they gave us the bathroom didn’t work2nd room bathroom worked, however there was dirty water in the tub The room smelled like smoke

They clearly did some simple cosmetic updates to try and spruce up the placeWe would have gone somewhere else, however the hotel next door was full We needed a place to lay our heads for the night minus the shower in the morning due to dirty waterThey did provide a breakfast in the morning, we decided to pass on thatAll in all it was a place to sleep, would we stay there again probably not

I received a gift card for Traditions and wanted to treat my granddaughter to a girls day out I called and was able to book us both appointments for haircuts on the same day, at the same time That’s where the ease of this experience ends

Upon sitting down in the chair, I told the stylist I needed at least 2 inches taken off my hair She asked me how I usually wore it and I explained that I sometimes took some hair from the right side and clipped it over to the left side So the stylist proceeded to clip my hair this way and then cut it while a portion of my hair was flipped to the opposite side In my head I was thinking that this was wrong because if I didn’t flip that exact portion of hair, there would be an uneven chunk But I didn’t say anything She finished cutting my hair and I couldn’t even tell anything had been done I told her again that I would like more length taken off In all, I asked three different times for her to take at least 2 inches off It took her 75 minutes to cut my hair straight across at the shoulders Sure enough, when I left the salon I looked in the mirror and there was a chunk of hair on one side of my head that was significantly longer than the rest of my hair and I had to cut it myself once I got home My granddaughters haircut was also a joke because they barely trimmed her ends All in all, an hour and 15 minutes for a negligible difference for both of our hairstyles When we went to cash out, it was $50 per haircut! I could’ve gotten a better haircut in less time by stopping in at Cost Cutters Absolutely ridiculous! The icing on the cake was that my gift card was for $120 and when I cashed out, they asked if I wanted to leave the remaining $20 as a tip I honestly felt like only tipping $5 per haircut since it was such a poor experience, but I knew I would never be coming back here to spend the gift card otherwise I would not recommend this salon to anyoneUpdated: 6/8/2022Management reached out to me to see what they could do to make things right I received a credit for future use I will update my review once I return to the salon & spa

This place is beautiful and I would definetly stay again It’s quiet and very restful I came late 11:00pm

It was raining I had 2 bags plus a couple of little extra bags Only problem I was struggling I had a cane and I had to get my own things onto a wrack and upstairs by myself Then park my car in the parking lot and walk again down the little hill back to my room There were two people there and they just watched me No one offered to help Now I’m not helpless!!! I wouldn’t ask for help -‘And I didn’t My bad! But they could have offered Anyway It’s still a beautiful location and I would come again

So we stayed in the fancy Watson room with a jacuzzi tub and massive terrace It was an ok room Definitely old which we loved the history of the place

we are local so the history is amazing We enjoyed looking at the old pics in the lobby etc It was as if we had the place to ourselves as it was a Monday and customer service was amazing The building inside was dated which is was supposed to bebut yet had the feeling that it wasnt upkept as in old carpet and peeling ceilingsthe food was good in the tavern we expected a tavern like feel but it was a room in the mansionlooked like an old sitti g room Food was good It was all oknot exceptionalworth the price ??? idk

Excellent place to stay with your pet Their pet friendly rooms are close to the side door exit on the ground floor, I know it should be a no-brainer, but you would be surprised Room was very clean and no pet odor upon entry

Matter of fact no sign that it was a pet friendly room at all, kudos to the staff Front desk staff wonderful Breakfast very basic, no bacon, sausages, eggs etc, but sufficient to fill up for our next stint on our travels Lady manning the breakfast area made us and our dog feel very welcome We just booked another night for our return trip stay back home

We got a room for 1 night with a six month old & a 6 year old All was good until like 11 & there was so much noise no one could sleep People were jumping & yelling all around us

We called the front desk multiple times The front desk lady said she would leave a note on the people’s door She didn’t offer anything else to us She told us that people just came in & it was probably their luggage rolling around But how does luggage jump onto the floor? The front desk lady was extremely rude Around 11:30 we couldn’t take it anymore & we packed up the baby & child & left in below freezing weather The front desk lady did absolutely nothing for us Didn’t offer any help & now the company is refusing to give us half the money back we weren’t even in the room for a stay Very unhappy with this hotel Staff was extremely rude & not helpful

This Holiday Inn was amazing! Even with a concert at the venue next door and sports teams in town, the staff were amazing Every place we went was clean and the staff continued cleaned common areas Our room was fabulous! Ask for a room ending in an odd number

You will have a view of the river and not the parking lot Our room was way more than we anticipated

We stayed at the HI-Binghamton Downtown due to the storm knocking power in our neighborhood The front desk staff was very kind and accommodating Not sure how busy things are normally, but the hotel sold out due to the storm and utilities folks booking rooms to stay during the repairs

Our room was quiet and the floor is a quiet floor after 9pm which was great Lots of nearby places to grab a bite or order deliveryPower did go out for about 1-15hrs They had a generator but it was reserved to power the elevators only Once power came back, it never went out again for the duration of our stayHotel is pet friendly (there’s a fee)Only reason for a 4 is because the window could only open about 2-3 inches and the room was HOT We brought a fan and turned off the heat and that helped
