One of the best overall experiences our family has had at a hotel It was very clear that whomever is running this hotel is setting the bar and leading by example The social hour chef came by and chit chatted with us and did not push us out even though dinner had already ended

His assistant that helped with clean up was very courteous and friendly too And my picky teens enjoyed their supper My husband and I came down to the lobby late for popcorn and the evening hotel clerk was already cleaning it (it was after all, 20 minutes past the time for popcorn) He went back to the office and grabbed us 2 bags of already prepared/sealed popcorn Such a small thing but meant so much that he would go above and beyond like that Rooms were very clean We felt like we were among people we’d known our whole lives and weren’t just a hotel guest Refreshing to get not only top notch customer service from someone, but rather a top notch customer experience our entire stay Great job, Drury Inn! We’ve booked the rest of our travels around your locations now

One of the best hotel experiences in recent years Thank you Atmosphere was spot on… concierge took ownership as of their own brand was on display

Very impressive! I own a little plumbing business and know it’s not apples to apples but nonetheless learned a ton about how to provide amazing customer experience!! I didn’t catch the name of staff but kudos Here eating evening shindig and it’s great

Chris Harrell

I cannot say enough about this hotel! The staff are awesome, cheerful and always ready to help The rooms are very nice, clean, quiet and very comfortable The bathrooms are top notch, always clean and never lacking

The atmosphere and fellow guests are very friendly and safe, unlike many hotels in the DFW that offer similar accommodations Everyone here is just like your neighbors! The daily drinks & dinner service is the reason I fell in love with Drury Free drinks for adults, soft drinks available for everyone, and a dinner buffet that does not disappoint! Salad, BBQ, steamed veggies, baked beans, hot dogs for picky children Breakfast has something for everyone They have eggs, bacon, sausage, as well as yogurt, cereal and oatmeal, and more Like I said, I love this hotel and I just can’t say enough!

My brother recently had his wedding here and everything was perfect Crystal was super helpful with the whole process and she was extremely accommodating and willing to help us with whatever we needed The venue is gorgeous, clean, and unique as are the rooms that the guests stayed in

The staff is attentive friendly helpful and serves the guests I had to extend my stay because I was snowed in and the Hotel was shut down because the streets were not safe to drive Breakfast Food was scarce and I was the last one in line and did not receive a meal so mark Martinez gave me his lunch which was a salad a pineapple a pineapple and bottle water I was the last one in line and did not receive a meal so mark Martinez gave me his lunch which was a salad a pineapple and bottle water Tyler was very accommodating it made me feel safe Like I was home She grabbed a couple of bananas from the kitchen which helped me curve my appetite when we couldn’t go out because of the snow On the 3rd day when it was safe to drive my truck was covered in ice and snow and Antonio went above and beyond I’ll be on to help me get the ice off my truck so that I could leave These above and beyond great customer service focus employees deserve 5 star and more rating Thank you so much for the bottom of my heart for the great hospitality during a trying snowed in 3 additional day stay You definitely demonstrated great customer service To everyone of you Mark Martinez Tyler Antonio and Edward You redefine hospitality the heart of a servant for its guests

We selected this hotel based on a very pleasant experience at another Holiday Inn Express in the Dallas area Sadly, we have been very very disappointed with this hotel It seems they are using Covid to cut down on housekeeping

Getting clean towels is almost impossible During our stay, we have tried to get clean towels every other day which we did not think was too much to ask given that the rates have not gone down during Covid We were told that if we leave our used towels outside the door before we leave for the day, fresh towels would be delivered Imagine how unhappy we were she were turned to the room at 8 o’clock at night and find no towels in the room When we went to the front desk to ask for towels, we were told there are no towels What a great way to run a hotel!

Stephanie Perez

If I could give 0 stars I would Don’t stay here unless you want your things stolen I left my wallet in the safe that I didn’t think I had to lock if I was going to be back soon

Besides, I was the only one who had a key card so if anyone was going in to clean the room, why would you take something so obvious? Thanks a lot Holiday Inn

I am giving them 1 star for there billing policy And for the manager telling me pretty much to leave if I don’t like it Charging people extra to be on the top floor is crazy when you have only a few floors

Charging people 30 per day in incidentals is crazy when you only offer drinks and cookies Some of your employees are super nice and some are downright rude including the manager Make sure all of your front desk staff knows your financial policy Never had a problem before at Hyatt and do not plan to stay at the Plano location again

Ivan Hernandez

I was a little worried about the 1⭐ recent reviews when I booked my room but I needed to stay close to the area due to the weather From the time I checked in all staff was friendly and professional even the housekeeping lady welcomed me as I was going up to my room The room was clean and spacious, bed was super comfortable and the breakfast the next day was amazing

The only downside was that the rooms did not have a USB charger for my phone I had to go buy a new one at the store Other than that it was a great stay I would definitely stay here again

Mary B

My room was clean, very nice and comfortable The breakfast was good I was here for 2 nights

The entire time the room key machine at the front desk was not working So I never had a key to my room and neither did many of the other guests Consequently the staff at the front desk were spending a lot of their time going up and down the floors unlocking rooms for guests The wait at the front desk to get checked-in or anything else was LONG because the staff were away (opening doors) One of the two elevators does not work, and has not worked for several weeks due to parts shortage While I was there the phone system went down and you could not make calls from the room, or call the hotel from outside

After a long day of work I arrived to the hotel around 1030pm The room I booked was not ready and I was told they did not have my room type available Marriott has a reservation guarantee so I told the front desk of the policy

They seemed to be on the same page and to honor the policy A few minutes later, the shift manager made a call to the facility guy on site and asked if a room was clean He wasn’t sure but she asked him to take a look and make sure it was ready for a stay Supposedly this guy cleaned and prepared the room within 15 minutes I am not sure if it was actually cleaned or not In total, I waited for 45 minutes in the lobby and was able to get to my room at 1130pm No accommodation, poor service, no urgency, no customer service I stayed over 100 nights with Marriott last year I have never had a bad experience until staying at this Westin

David

The suite they put me is was nice, but it had a strange layout The toilet was down the hall and around the corner with motion sensores closet lights with no doors in between That was annoying at night

I didn’t want the lights on!Lastly, the shower head was very low They said it was because it was an ADA room Maybe that is a legitimate building code or requirement in Texas However, I have been put in many ADA rooms in my travels and never seen this Just be aware when booking or being assigned your room

Alan Bielefeldt

The hotel and rooms were modern, clean, very nice and comfortable I had put in for a specific suite upgrade, which i was told i received When we checked in, it was a room with a Pelton which they said was a Junior suite

But this wasn’t one of the two suites I had requested, so it was disappointing to have two suite nights used for this upgrade As a Platinum member, this is room would be the normal upgrade we typically receive without using a suite night as the Pelton was the only addition to what seemed like a regular room Another area we were very disappointed with was their breakfast staff and food which was lacking in comparison to many other Marriott hotels we’ve stayed For example the first morning they give us a menu, but recommend the buffet since they said it would take at least 25 – 30 minutes for any menu item we ordered So we select the buffet which my wife picked the oatmeal which turned out to be dried up and cold, from sitting in the pot I selected the scrambled eggs and potatoes which were also cold and eggs were runny Our waitress only came by once to bring the bill, so we had to wave down other staff for coffee refillsAlso, we were very frustrated with the pool which was over crowded, they have limited chairs with umbrellas, so we baked in the sun, which is not great in Texas with 105 temperatures Not to mention the pool water was very hot, so it took away from our plans for a relaxing weekend

Gorgeous property! We had a wonderful family trip to visit and had 5 room – they places us all on the same floor which was great! My husband and I had a corner deluxe king room and it was beautiful One evening I took advantage of the soaking tub and even had a great view of fireworks happening over the city! We enjoyed the pool, the food and the area Plenty of amenities inside the hotel but also within walking distance

Dana Pollard Moving Up in Texas

Just stayed here while enjoying a date night with my husband I love the view overlooking the big screen at The Star! It was nice not having to get in a car to enjoy some (sports) shopping and dining because everything was walkable The hotel is very clean and the staff, particularly Jean, was very accommodating and friendly

Thank you Omni!

Absolutely love this hotel! First off the front desk service (Harris) is one of the most friendly and helpful people we have ever encountered! He has went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable! Second the bar/restaurant is really good! (Mason?) the bartender makes very good cocktails! Lastly (Jonathan F? ) the manager was superb in helping us throughout our stay! I can’t say enough how much we love to stay here!

Mrs. Kevbozzz Shan

Beautiful modern hotel and great location to dining various options The room was very spacious, nicely furnished, and had a great layout with a sitting area separate from the bedroom Parking was plentiful and very convenient

The hot breakfast was great and refreshed constantly All the staff members were very helpful and accommodating I can’t wait to stay again when it’s warmer and enjoy the pool area!

Kate K

We stayed at the same hotel for many years for business several times a year and they just could never get everything fixed We decided to take a chance on Cambria and could not have been more pleased Vanessa sold the hotel when I called to ask a few questions

Beautiful room and IMPECCABLY clean! With difficulty coming out of lock downs and short staff this was not at all the case with everyone from the front desk, bartender to the housekeeping staff as we were graciously greeted and asked if we needed anything additional This quality comes from the top and after speaking to manager to say what a wonderful quiet room we had and how pleased were we found out by her professional manner that the staff followed her lead Everyone smiled and while that may not sound like a big deal, it is because it showed everyone was happy with their jobs and did them very well!Comfortable and tasteful room and felt very “at home” staying here HIGHLY recommend!

Stayed here Valentine’s Day for 2 nights The room was clean and spacious We had the city view which was amazing

The bar was great and the servers were so nice and funny Food was expensive but good The hotel is connected to the mall which was great since I wanted to go shopping Staff was nice and the pool was gorgeous Will stay here again but during the summer I wanna check out the pool and the bar they have next to it

Michael Duran

We just got to stay here for a staff outing in Dallas Me and my guest were very impressed with this hotel At a time when service is dwindling at so many other vendors, this place was a breath of fresh air

Everyone was so nice Everything was so clean Food and drinks were abundant and delicious I will absolutely be staying here the next time we are in Dallas

Katherine Jones

For the most part, we really loved staying at this hotel The proximity to the mall and local restaurants/shops was fantasticThe employees we engaged with were top tier! Especially the bar staff- Shaun (at the poolside bar) and Malik (at the lobby bar) are gems! The customer service was on point and they genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs

There was also a young employee, Diego, who was being trained at the poolside bar and he was an absolute sweetheart as well We would come to this hotel just to visit the bars againThe rooms were very clean and very modern The water in the bathroom gets plenty hot The a/c didn’t get as cool as I would like at night but I expect that from most hotels so I just bring a small bedside fanThe one thing keeping me from giving that last star, and really if I could have made it a half star I would The house keepers knocked on our door two different days, even though we had the “presently occupied” sign hanging on the door hoping to avoid being disturbed This was our couples getaway weekend and we hoped to sleep in since our children weren’t with us That was ruined two mornings of our stay I’m not sure what the point of the door hangers are if the staff doesn’t pay attention to them After being woken up by the housekeeping staff and telling them we didn’t need service, I could hear them vacuuming the next room and every time they hit the wall with the vacuumThey have room for improvement but overall it was a positive experience We hope to be back soon

Booking and check in were easy and freindly I was a little disappointed when I found out our “Suite” was essentially one big room with a TV in both “rooms” We were only there for the evening to get our kids out of the work party she was having at our home in Denton

It lead to a war of TV volumes Room was clean and the hotel is definitely up to Courtyard’s standards If anything like this happens again I’ll look into a suite with some sort of divider Nice hotel with a staff

Amanda Dalrymple

Ok if this review was solely based on the rooms and front desk staff, it’d be a 5! We had a quick and easy check in (literally the fastest check in I’ve had in a long while) and the room was spacious and clean! The shower head was not great at all The indoor swimming pool was warm and my kiddos had a great time! The reason we rated this a 3, was because the breakfast employee was not friendly, seemed upset she had to take our order and just wasn’t pleasant I ordered the avocado toast and y’all, when I say it was bad it was so bad

It was a piece of bread from the grocery store with some watery packaged avocado spread (pictures attached) My kids got the French toast and after one bite told me it was yucky The strawberries were mushy (from a can?), and my husbands breakfast sandwich wasn’t actually edible We each took one bite and left after $35 Do yourselves a huge favor and skip the breakfast, head to Buc-cees across the street for a way better breakfast for way less!

Hotels have their own rating system and for that a five star hotel has certain features that help them receive that status This is not a five start hotel based on amenities and luxury Based on my room and experience it was a five star experience, would stay again

Close to everything fun and great restaurants and shopping a short drive up and down the tollway

Craig Andrews

Absolutely disgusting!!!!This hotel was a joke, right?Get to the hotel and the lady at the front desk comes out in dirty socks with kids running in from behind her Strike oneShe shows us the bill to sign and it’s $100 more than the total reserved price we booked from their site directly

She claims it is a $50 charge for incidentals, but can’t tell me what the other $50 is for Strike TwoWe walked into the room and there is blood on the walls, feces on the floor and wall and smells of wet dog Gross We called down and asked for another room, said it was all they could do as they were bookedIt was very late, the sheets were clean (we hoped) so went to bedWoke up, closed bathroom door and found someone else’s snot on the back of doorTalked to the clerk early Saturday morning She promised us the manger would hear about this and the room would be cleaned while we were gone for the day This was at 7:30amJust walked back in at 9:30pm and nothing was done! GROSS!!Front clerk, again in socks and kids in tow, tells us there is no manager and she can’t do anything about it Strike 3This place should be condemned Those working there should be firedI’ve never been treated so badly at any IHG facility and I stay at hundreds throughout the yearCorporate office is hearing about this one

Tamika B

I’ll start with the positive

all the staff I encountered was very nice and helpful The common areas appeared clean, there was not trash anywhere The laundry room, gym outside seating area and pools appeared clean as wellthe downsidemy room was full of hair!! Dog hair, human hair, who knows what other species type of hair I have a rambunctious toddler and she would be full of hair by the end of the day it got on her clothes, in her mouth, everywhere After a complaint, housekeeping was sent to vacuum but, I think that made it worse the cheap vacuum on hand just did not get the job done I would’ve brought my Kirby had I known This is a pet friendly hotel The breakfast was ok, there was not a variety, they served the same thing every day Would I visit againprobably not

My room was spacious and modern and the frost desk staff was polite The only complaint I have is that housekeeping would only service my room once every four days during my extended stay and it had to be requested I expected a bit better for the price

Also, to echo some of the other reviews, I found the bed rather hard Overall, though, it was a mostly pleasant experience

Mario Zendejas

I joined the Wyndham rewards program and got a great deal for my stay I stayed there for seven nights and had a great time The staff was super friendly and helpful

Due to Covid they don’t freshen up your room every day They came in on the middle of my stay and cleaned my room and changed everything out But if you need more towels or anything else you just had to call the desk and they were happy to help Their morning breakfast was good too The star of the show was their Texas shape waffles They were yummy! Plus, it in a great location close to so many places to eat, and far away from major road noise I will definitely come back next time I’m in the DFW area

Thoroughly enjoyed the vacation at this hotel! We were greeted every morning and every evening and given wonderful recommendations on where to eat and where to visit For my wife and I, customer service is a huge aspect in the success of a business and I can say that this hotel exceeded expectations If I ever find myself in or around Plano again, this will be the hotel I will stay at!

This is a great location All of the employees I have interacted with have been extremely nice and helpful! From the front desk to the guy mopping the floor, everyone has been great The breakfast was delicious with some little special touches that bring it up from the normal hotel offerings

The pool and hot tub area is unique and highly enjoyable

Very clean and spacious rooms Front desk attendant was super nice and helpful Close to a lot of dining and attractions

We were directly across from the elevator hall, and heard very little noise I know for fact the hotel is completely booked, and there are several youth athletic competitions this weekend so it’s full of kids I’m actually impressed at how quiet it is here We will definitely book here again the next time we are in Frisco

Catherine was an amazing front desk clerk Mornings and nights she is always on the help and goes beyond a smile to make your stay worth while Thank you so much for everyone saying Good morning to me, made me feel welcomed and warm in the cold season

The area is high in athleticism and really encourages you to go out for a jog or visit one of the local gyms nearby just minutes down the road! The pool was perfection along with the waterfall attached to a hot tub! Most relaxed I wasShout out and a big thanks to Michael the manager of comfort suites Frisco for making a huge positive impact on your employees and hotel!!!

I will definitely stay at this wonderful Marriott hotel again I rarely have the experience that all hotel crews are with the same high standard service throughout the whole stay period If you like to swim outdoor in the winter, their heated swimming pool has the best temperature that you could dream of and the swimming pool is very clean

I also like the fitness as it is not crowded most of the time and also very clean Breakfast buffet is so delicious (most fresh fruits I ever tested at buffet) Adult is $24 and child is only $12 You also get free breakfast if you have platinum staus or higher They confirmed my upgrade request several days ago instead of last minute Also approved my late check out soon after I checked in I also receive an status appreciation letter and a box of chocolate and a glass bottle of Dr Pepper you will also love the weekend complimentary free self parking If M club is also open over the weekend, it will be perfect Overall, I will highly recommend this hotel

When I pulled up to the hotel, I was pleased with how the building and landscaping were immaculate However, that only goes so far I had a tuxedo rental to return via UPS

On the day I was checking out, I called down to ask if they could do UPS returns via the front desk They said “sure, just drop it off with the return label attached” So I did I was happy that I would not have to venture out and find a UPS location on the last day of my vacation while also making my way to the airportWell, five days later I got an email from the tux rental company saying I had been charged a late fee for not returning the suitthe tracking status still said “Label created” When I called the hotel to look into this, they let me know that the package was still sitting behind the front desk I asked the front desk manager, Charles, why it had been sitting for almost a week and he said that I was responsible for scheduling a pickup request on the UPS websiteAfter telling him that this was news to me and asking why nobody told me that originally, his reply was “Sir, we offer this service as a convenience to you Most people know they have to schedule their own pickups” In my opinion, that is not an acceptable response If he had said the word “sorry” one time, maybe I would feel better It seems the nice facade of the hotel only goes so far if the staff is not trained on proper customer service Charles said that the hotel is able to reimburse the tuxedo rental late fee, but I have not heard anything from him in a week

The Marriott Hotel is a high-end hotel located in a beautiful shopping center Ideal place for a wedding or a small business congress Their amenities are unmatched within a five-mile radius, largely due to the extensive retail experience outside its front door

Their room service, buffet dinners and facilities are mildly impressive to the location In close proximity to the Toyota’s headquarters; and thus, you may run into several of their executives and/or stumble into a few journalists within the automotive world The 24 hour access to gym, dipping pool and hot tub was our favorite part

The staff was professional and nice The rooms were clean, and the air-conditioning worked well The bathrooms were clean, but there’s not enough room between the toilet and the sink

The ice machines weren’t working, so I was brought a pitcher of ice to the desk The AC in the hallway wasn’t working It seemed the hallway on the third floor was open to the outsideand during temperatures in the upper 90’s! We picked the Holiday Inn Express and booked for that hotel, but we found out that it was and had been closed (Not mentioned on the website) Fortunately, we were able to deduce that we were changed to the Holiday Inn next doorApparently, the three hotels that are next to each other (Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, and Stay Bridge) are all under the same managementToday when we went to have our complimentary breakfast we were informed that they didn’t have anyone to cover breakfast today, BUT we were welcome to go two blocks down to the Stay Bridge where breakfast was being provided

By far the worst experience ever! Booked this reservation in advance and called the day of my reservation to notify front desk I will be arriving but late to make sure I would have a room to stay in When arriving front desk notified me that they didn’t have my room that I booked ( 2 queen beds) I traveled with my family of 4 and she requested I stay in a king bed

I told her that wasn’t except-able then she proceeded to tell me that her only choice was to cancel my reservation She didn’t try to accommodate or help in any Talking to me rude, disrespectful and as if I was stupid I was out for over 2 hrs trying to find a place to stay cause everything in Dallas and fort worth area was booked This time frame was from 11:30 to 1:30 Always over booked and they never help with accommodating! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Luke R

Traveled with my sons soccer team, families that booked through a 3rd party site all had their reservations canceled even though it was booked months before The families that booked directly through the hotel even just days before had their reservations honoredItalia working the front desk was extremely rude and of zero help

Edit in response to the owner: You say you have no control over the 3rd party, you were the ones who cancelled our reservations the day of arrival So, no, I don’t believe what you’re saying You are the ones that chose to overbook and cancel ours

We had to find a last minute place to stay that had A/C since our house did not This was a relatively nearby hotel that we had points for that would pay for the night, so we made a late night last minute reservation Hotel is fairly new

Everything was nice and clean Nothing fancy, but has everything you need – great shower and comfy bedMarissa was great at the front desk when we arrived Very friendly and efficient The only ding on the service was the person covering the desk when we checked out that couldn’t be bothered to get off the phone (an obvious personal call) to offer any greetingBreakfast was the typical La Quinta fare, which was nice Very good coffee

Thunder Twonk

Had a bad experience with not one but TWO staff members They both seemed like they hated their job – they can’t give you the time of day and they act like they don’t want to be there The rooms are nice – but the experience I had with the staff probably ruined my whole trip

I saw some reviews about this prior to staying… If you don’t mind being disrespectful at a place your paying your hard earned money ! This is the place to stay!

Mr KING ZYDECO

The website says the hotel has truck parking that a Bold Face Lie, this hotel doesn’t have truck parking The hotel shares a parking lot with a restaurant, and on top of that there are big bolder rocks placed around n the parking lot,so big trucks can’t park They trash truck is the only thing that can get fit and get n and out of the parking lot

So if your a truck driver and trying to stay at this hotel don’t You will have to Uber/Lyft yourself to and from The one night I stayed here the guy that checked me in was Very Rude! He refused to answer any of my questions I was asked, Etc He told me he no understand English and that he was in a hurry to get off He’s just on the clock 2 get a paycheckThere’s only one driveway and the hotel and restaurant uses the same driveway Stay at your own Risk
