The staff was wonderful!! The front desk was welcoming, the hotel manager was fantastic! Loved the room, it was clean and had all the amenities!! The shower was lovely, plenty of hot water and pressure The pool was lovely, perfect temperature, clean with plenty of towels Breakfast was great, it had a nice assortment

We will definitely stay here again!!!

The establishment was clean and the staff was polite The pool was clean but it was a bit cold for being inside Is the only good things I can say

Google photos showed a hot tub that was not there(now reported) Building lost all water pressure Bathroom door did not shut fully The remodeling paint job was bad There was masking tape on the sprinkler from the paint job We were on the 3rd floor and the only ice maker working was on the 1st The breakfast eggs and sausage were poor quality The only elevator’s last inspection was expired For the price it was still worth staying

The hotel was pretty clean, not spotless but good to goThe bed was comfy, shower was good, and our heads comfortablly sank into the pillowsIt was a quiet Friday night of rest which was perfect for getting back on the road in the morningWe enjoyed the light breakfast and coffee as a good start to the day before check out!

This is the best hotel in Marion, IN The staff are friendly, the lobby, elevator, halls, and rooms are very clean The beds are very comfortable with super soft pillows

I read a lot about Tonya from the other reviews on here but didn’t get to meet her because she works during the week but Peggy who takes care of breakfast on the weekends and started a few weeks ago is a delight as wellThis is my go to hotel in Marion Yes it is more expensive than other hotels in the area and your definitely not going to like the other ones So if you can, I strongly recommend staying here

David Krachenfels

We stayed one night and headed out early the next day That being said, we were greeted kindly, the hotel was clean and looks either new or just well maintained The room was clean and I slept comfortably :-)We didn’t use the fitness center and left prior to breakfast so I cannot comment on the amenities

I would definitely stay again, Thanks!

I had the pleasure of staying here during a recent trip to Marion for faculty meetings from 4/25-4/28 I must say, I am not typically a customer of the Super8 chain of hotels, and would’ve opted for something newer had this not been a business trip Though I was underwhelmed with the decor and furnishings, I was overwhelmed with the hospitality of the staff

Every staff member on every shift was just amazing They made every effort to accommodate my requests There were a few things that I thought would be great to know before traveling:-If you are staying on the second floor there are no elevators-They are a pet-friendly hotel, so not idea for folks with allergies-Speaking of allergies, it is an older hotel-There is no iron or ironing board in the room (which I guess is not a problem for most)-As a woman traveling, I would want to know that this hotel is frequented by truckers My father was a trucker so I have a lot of respect for this bunch, but still need to be aware of your surroundings-There is no continental breakfastOverall, it was a clean, quaint room without all the bells and whistle, and suited my needs I did not pay for this, so can not speak to the price Would I stay again?- not by choice, but it doesn’t mean it isn’t a good choice for the right person! And every one of those front desk staff needs a raise! They are just fantastic

Not as advertised Not a bad hotel by any means, but made to look a lot better than it is in person There is no problem with the staff, in fact the hospitality by the front desk was a highlight

However, there was no breakfast present, the building doesn’t even have space for it The lobby was organized but clearly worn-out and yellow-stained Same for the room Some photoshop or retouch was done for the photos because the room is as yellow and lackluster as the corn fields outside The bathroom is reminiscent of a prison, with possibly once white shower curtains and bath tub adding to the beige monotony Worth the price? Sure But lower your expectations, and be wary of the falsely positive reviews

It’s very simple

Literally nothing intended for guests to use or enjoy works in this hotel Literally nothing There are signs on everything Drinking fountain, guest computer, guest laundry room, even the breakfast room is “out of order” There’s a place for a hair dryer in the bathroom and no hairdryer 😂To pay over $100 per night for a room and have to just deal with the fact that the owners obviously won’t fix anything and falsely advertises amenities that are “NOT AVAILABLE” is not acceptable And don’t think about just going to the other hotel across the road because the same people own that one tooIf you expect to get what you pay for, don’t stop here A third world experience for first world prices I don’t think I’ve ever left another review at a hotel but this place just deserves to be exposed and other people warned They are indifferent and seem to have no reason for doing these things and no desire to rectify the situationI will say the problem who work at the desk are nice but seem to be embarrassed because guest complain about the same things all the time and the owners won’t do anything about it Just a sad and frustrating experience here 😢

Very impressive Very cozy Very homey

I stayed 3 or 4 days but only got breakfast 2 of those days I thought b&b’s served every day(!?) There was no communication on the days I missed breakfast The other thing treat was confusing was the bed It was extremely high I didn’t understand the purpose for that There was stool to help but having had 4 knee replacements/revisions it was extremely difficult to especially get into or on the bed I told jack it was fine but when I go back I don’t want to stay in that room I liked is closeness to the door but it was way too difficult getting in and out of Otherwise everything was wonderful

What a wonderful bed and breakfast! My wife and I had such a relaxing visit and great family time Our two little ones enjoyed the dormer in room 10 because it was a perfect place for them to stay and have a little space of their own It was tastefully appointed and we enjoyed the modern convenience mixed with old farmhouse charm

It’s in a great location and is easy to find And Jax’s cafe made for a perfect breakfast time Definitely staying here next time we’re in Marion

The front desk staff was really helpful in a time of needThe rooms are really niceGreat pool

Nice area for breakfast where guests are able to sit and eat at a nice table and clean area And the front lobby area has a nice sitting area as well Nice kept ladies room outside of the pool areaNice vending machines not far from the front deskThe hotel was kept clean

Natasha Flora

Front desk lady was friendly The keys were not working properly Kept sliding and took forever to open the door

The only issue in the room was that before bed I just happened to open drawer to night stand and crawling inside was a big cockroach I killed it and didn’t see any more anywhere else in room I chose this motel to stay in because of the reviews I didn’t make a fuss because I was tired and spaced it in the morning leaving Just be careful and always check no matter the motel/hotel We always do

April Gibbs

The rooms are clean but it’s time for an upgrade which has nothing to do with the employees who are amazing! I’m giving this hotel 5 stars bc of the service and Dixie is amazing! She was very understanding to my children who both have autism and made sure to put me somewhere they wouldn’t bother other customers She was very helpful on other things, every employee I interacted with was polite and helpful for the entire 3 days we were there! Thank you BW employees!

Recently stayed at this location for a business trip In a haste I my watch, ring, and bracelet Upon getting home I had realized what was left behind and immediately called the hotel back

I spoke with Jason who stated that my items had been turned into the front desk by their staff He informed that I could speak with Karen (Manager) Karen gave me a call and offered to ship my belongings back to me She took time out of her schedule and went to local shipping store to send out my belongings She verified that it was overnighted, and wrapped safely in bubble packing Once she drop off at shipping store she text me over a copy of receipt and verified I had tracking informationThank you to all staff members for their honesty and level of concern

At two stars I’m being generous first night upon arrival

One of our key cards couldn’t work Front desk tried several more to no avail Then the toilet just wouldn’t flush I’m assuming someone before us had put something in it that gotten stuck – resolution moved us to a different room, okay cool no worries and we still goodSecond day Complaint #1 where to begin They rented out their conference room and pool for a children’s birthday party- awesome We have kids and had two kids with us actually YEAH NO… these heathens were left unattended to run back and forth from the conference room to the pool area leaving pools of water everywhere along the way – complaint #1 completed to front deskSeveral hours later Party still going Mess still being made No supervision of the kids No mess being cleaned up no correction from any of the staff… Complaint #2 This time asked front desk for general manager info and front desk flat out refused and stated they would handle the issue and the party would be over with by 9pm…Now to the worst… the people above our room I can only assume they were wrestling WWE STYLE until about 2am because it sure sounded like someone being body slammed from the likes of The UnderTaker and then Cane jumping off the top rope to finish off their opponent! Then breakfast this morning Same or similar group of heathens visited continental breakfast this morning and left it a complete disasterAbsolutely positively will NEVER NEVER stay here again I’ll drive 20 miles out of the way to avoid this disaster of a hotel
