Stayed one night a while back, room was clean and had no unusual smells Bed was comfortable, but the best part was their hot breakfast Not many places have started that back up and I miss it, the food was typical for hotel breakfast, but tagged better because I missed it

Staff was friendly and helpfulI have 4 stars because there was noise from kids and other rooms Thin walls appear to be the new way to save a dollar on building cost, but other than the nose it was a good stay Good enough that I’m staying again this weekend

Jeff & Annie Calhoun

Pet friendly which was a big deal for my stay and they made sure my pup was as welcomed as we were Rooms were very clean, spoke with housekeeping outside of our room and they were so polite and helpful to our needs! The breakfast was great bonus and my only issue is with other pet owners, clean up after your pets! We will be back soon and will definitely make this our place to stay!

Chris Mills

They have a nice clean smell that they pump through the air ducts, so it smells pleasant and clean everywhere Rooms are basic, but clean Found a to go box of food in the back top of the refrigerator that wasn’t ours, so I have to deduct a little for that

The pool was nice, but small and a little cold and the hot tub was nice, but more like a “very warm” tub and the jets seemed to actually make it feel slightly less warm The three coffee carafes that were still out in the lobby in the evening we’re all empty, except one that was one cup from empty and seemed to be left over from the morning There were no other beverages offered in the lobby except water from a drinking fountain Overall nice, but packing in some of the finer details

I’m so glad I found this place!! Don is the sweetest person ever Very friendly and nice He knew our situation that we had to do an early check in because we needed to catch the 2pm ferry and he was so kind enough to let that happen without no hesitation

The beds were so comfortable and the room was just the right size It was also clean inside and out Highly recommend to stay at this place Thank you Don for your awesome costumer service😁

I absolutely love everything about thischarming hotel; from the warm friendly staff, to the decor, the ambiance and the story of hotel planter LaConner is the quintessential artist community, with hotel planter being the historical quarters the town’s artist community would take shelter It sits quaintly on the corner end of the main drag

Cannot say enough good things about this gem of a place!! First it is gorgeous!! The decor was so eye catching and appealing There were numerous areas both in and outside to sit and relax and the FLOWERS!! Stunning! Derek and especially Yvette were so warm and welcoming, friendly and enthusiastic about this work you can just tell it is not a job but a passion They have private rooms with shared bathroom and kitchen areas as well as all the indoor areas

All kinds of coffees, teas, syrups and snacks were available, including plant based options if requested Derek also offered us a glass of wine at check inI absolutely loved getting to know our hosts and never felt awkward or uncomfortable talking with them like you can with some strangers: felt like I’d known them for a long time I asked for vegan fare and Yvette made me the best tofu scramble I’ve ever had!! Everything was provided and comfortable My only complaint was the length of my stay!! Sadly only able to spend 1 night but honestly would return to book a longer trip just to stay here, it was THAT amazing! Definitely recommend!!

Since the moment you walk into the house a warm and calming energy fills you Every wall and space is beautifully decorated with paintings, three-dimentional art, books, instruments, plants and other peculiar objectsThe gardens themselves are a work of art, there is not boubt that caring hands take care of this outdoor space

Zen decorative pieces accent the landscape The calming waters of the bay are a perfect backdrop to this exquisite houseWe stayed in the first floor suite, it was spacious and accommodated three adults very comfortably The complementary coffe, tea and treats were a nice touch The common spaces were open for guest to enjoy Breakfast was homemade, healthy, delicious and beautifully servedDerek and Yvette were warm and welcoming and we enjoyed chatting with them during our stay They made you feel like you were visiting the home of old friends The fire pit in front of the breathtaking view and charcuterie board are a must!It was a very relaxing, incredible stay in outstanding place!

What an inspirational 3 day workshop I just returned from! Yvette gives you the knowledge/tools to create your own art She shared useful information on paints, mediums, and the ten basic design armatures that was and is very helpful to me as a beginner I can now understand better how and when to use mediums with acrylic to create that dreamy depth I see in professional paintings

She shows a nice balance of advising vs letting you make your own missteps It is very empowering to come back to your painting, say after one of their delicious lunches, and say “Hey, this part doesn’t work here, I need to fix it What was I thinking!” The empowering part is that I could see myself it needed to changeThe large converted barn that houses her gallery and workshop is gorgeous!Yvette is just a lovely person and Derek is no slouch either 😉 Thanks to you both for a wonderful weekend of color, fun, and friendshipSign me up!Mary S

We came with little expectation as we haven’t had great experiences at other hotels but we were very impressed This is definitely one of the nicer 3 star hotels We had a corner family room which was very spacious

My parents had the corner room across from us and it had water viewGreat stay for little kids as rooms are big and toilet has a separate space from sinkBreakfast was great since the town isn’t awake at 8Very friendly staff all day

Terry Chiles

Nicely located to downtown La Conner with access to harbor, shops and restaurants Walking through town, plaques on homes and businesses reference historical valueLa Conner Country Inn’s Deluxe King room does not qualify as Deluxe

While the bed was comfortable and the room clean, it provided a shower without tub option A closet was used to house coffee pot and mini-fridge but no microwave without space to hang clothes Lighting was largely on vaulted ceiling track with no way to direct lights Bed lamps and a floor lamp did not give adequate light for readingBreakfast choices were oatmeal, dry cereal, boiled egg, bread that had the option of toasting and muffin bits (I think)Several flights of stairs to get to room may be difficult if luggage is plentiful and/or weighty No elevatorsThe Inn had a certain charm, but needs updating Price is not reflective of amenities offered

Lawrence Stoyanowski

We loved our stay here! The staff went above and beyond I had a zoom presentation to do for a training for University Students and they set me up in a board room were I could make my call from Really really appreciated it

Great pet friendly rooms Spacious, clean, modern and comfortable! We will be back I encourage others to give them a shot!! Love La Connor!!

Great location on the Swinomish channel in La Conner with views of the passing boats and occasionally eagles The queen bed rooms are reasonably spacious with small decks overlooking the waterfront The bed was very comfortable

The furniture and accessories are upscale We found the staff to be engaging, capable, and informative Breakfast was included, and very good Highly recommend

Gene McAndrew

Disappointed Paid a high price for the weekend and when I got to my room I was let down I have a view of the parking lot

$650 view of the parking lotThe room has oversized chairs that dominate the room and make it next to impossible to enjoy the fire place in the room The bathroom is small and very hotI thought I was going to enjoy my stay but now every time I return to this room I feel as if I was tricked into paying full price for a half price room

Had the King room Was clean and comfortable Larger room than typical room

Also had a couch Assume it is a pullout, but we didn’t need another bed so never checked It was nice to sit up rather than having to sit or lay on the bed Only thing is a loud bathroom fan, however not a big deal Breakfast was what I would expect from a hotel Staff was pleasant Never used the pool so I don’t have a comment for it

Viviane Xiong

The room was clean and the location was good as it was off the freeway However, the customer service treatment was extremely poor and the noise was horrible I made the reservation a month ago for multiple rooms

When I realized I need a connecting room, I immediately called the hotel I was told they was put my request on my reservation At 4:00 PM of the day of my arrival, I realized I will not arrive at the establishment until 7ish, I called the establishment and was informed I will not get a reconnecting room And, the room will not be next to each other The room will be several hundred yard apart I was already disappointed I didn’t get a connecting room However, I was extremely upset when I check-in, I discovered that the two rooms are indeed several hundred yards apart and it will be separate by the elevator My room was next to the elevator and the other room was on top of their the dinning room Throughout the night, the elevator kept waking me up I previously stay at this establishment and had an exceptional experience Now I am regretting my decision If I am in Burlington, WA, I will seek other establishments Or I will drive a little further north or south of Burlington and staying at other establishments I understand a connecting room may not feasible but I find it hard to believe that the hotel cannot put the two rooms next to each other or across from each other Throughout this ordeal, the hotel didn’t apologize except we may not able to accommodate your request With the amount I paid for this establishment, I could have stay at four or five star hotel

J.D. Prowse

Sadly, the Hot tub was out of order during my stay It is quickly becoming a joke with peers, like how the ice cream machine is down whenever you go to that fast food burger joint, all three of my stays this year at every Holiday Inn have had at least one day, if not all three where I could not use pool or hot tub facilities At least this one had proper posting and signage

The pool facility is very nice looking and well kept Additionally, I had the print out from the big name corporate booking, but since I was not entrusted with the corporate credit card, the desk agent didn’t move past the reservation number At least it was explained the need for their internal CCA form, so I can avoid this problem of having to go back and get the stay expensed out None of the other coworkers encountered this issue in their front desk experience The breakfast was good, coffee is in a separate area, along with the kurig in the room I liked the lighting and furniture in the room, effective use of the space for spreading out Got a fair amount of work done in the room

I had such a wonderful experience at this hotel The kitchen was fully functional with many pots and pans able to be used Everything was extremely clean

The rooms were perfectly air conditioned They have enough shower gel, conditioner, and shampoo for multiple people in a room Coffee is free Staff is very niceThis hotel is able to be accessed for people 18 and older, which might be helpful information for young travelers looking where to stay, especially because many hotels require 21+

Aulene Elliott

Stayed in the King Suite, the bed hard as stone, I sleep hot and there was no Ac vent in the bedroom So I paid over $20000 and slept on the pull out couch

I understand that the rooms have kitchens but for those of us who are only one night stay and did not grocery shop they do not offer a complimentary breakfast The lobby coffee is a gross vending machine coffee Very disappointed and I will not stay here again

Nice place, but expensive I took a smoking room because there were no nonsmoking rooms available I had to keep my window open the whole time because of the cigarette stench

Pretty good free continental breakfast Beware if you attempt to walk to the casino across the street Although it’s only a block, it doesn’t seem safe for pedestrians Couldn’t the tribe have put in a sidewalk connecting the casino to this hotel?

Gerald Patterson

Outdated hotel that is wayyy overpriced Stayed there thanks to a dumb ex who wanted to stay there for a night right before Covid hit Drove by the other day and sure enough, place is sitting vacant and to think they could be easily renovating that place but nooo

Oh well, other casinos in an hour drive are taking advantage of the down time and will greatly outclass this overpriced Days Inn knockoff

Reiko Parker

I started staying here over a decade ago and keeping coming back Unfortunately, I don’t have the free time I used to, but I try to visit once every two or three months for some me time, gambling and power shopping That being said, the staff STILL know me on sight and call me by name, without looking it up

Today at check out, Irene and I wanted to go play at the casino and eat lunch, but I had a rather unexpectedly large electronic I’d won It was really hot and if I’d left it in my car it would’ve been damaged, so the Ridge checked it for me, which they didn’t have to do because I was no longer a guest I deeply appreciate the extra mile these people go for me All of them are 🌟, from the security guard who helped me find a pizza place that would deliver, to Casey who hunted me up the ONLY extra pillow anywhere, and of course the cleaning crew who look at me funny, but give me extra coffee pods because Irene can only function highly caffeinated Thank you guys so much for all the extra care I am an extremely satisfied customer

Usually when you book in advance like 2 weeks out, you would think that you would get a better rate… I booked at $17910 before tax almost 2 weeks before my arrival date, but when I checked their rates on my check-in date, the same room was listed at $13000

What a joke Also, this place is extremely noisy Paper thin walls so you can hear everything the weird next door people are saying and doing at 2am None of the doors have the door closer calibrated so all the doors are constantly slamming shut when you are trying to sleep The water heater broke and so there was no hot water on one of the nights and one of the guest told me they were still selling their rooms without mentioning there is no hot water When we called the front desk to ask what was happening with the hot water, they didn’t bother answering the phone They were pretty rude in general The gym never had any towels available, so you have to get them from the pool At least have some decent coffee but no that’s asking too much I would never recommend or come back to this place

Vladislav Vancák

We only stayed in the hotel for one night, and overall the experience was quite positive – the room was (by my standards) very large The beds were OK, a bit squeaky in places The shower was nice, but the door handle was very loose and will definitely come off in the upcoming days

Unfortunately, we found some hair in the room lobby and in the bathroom After we complained, the front desk lady gave us a vacuum and we had to clean the floor ourselves However, given the price tag for this place I’d still recommend this hotel – yes, it’s not the most modern or fancy, but it’s still a decent place for a fair price

Jack Otto

Booked a room here for my mother in law who was getting treatment at the hospital Super clean hotel and it’s relatively new Hot breakfast every morning

Fitness room and indoor pool as well I wished I was staying here Super friendly staff too If you are looking for a hotel in the Mount Vernon area be sure to check this hotel out!

Wonderful service, great view and awesome food! I was very pleasantly surprised with the entire experience my husband and I had right from the start When making reservations the host, Dylan, was extremely polite and welcoming Once seated our server, Laura, was very prompt (no time waiting after being seated) friendly and helpful in our menu choices which included a bottle of wine, pan fried oysters and cioppino

Everything was fantastic, we’ll be back

Melissa Stivason

A restaurant where you are paying for the view and the ambiance That definately can’t be beat The food is good

But overpricedIt was a slow night, only 2 other tables occupied Really surprised at how long everything took to come out Drinks, appetizers, food Errors on the bill Bread and butter ordered but never brought to table but still on bill The waitress was very nice and friendly, but food not brought out and not noticing that 3 steak dinners were on bill when only 2 ordered? We ordered a wine that the waitress didn’t know was sold out because “delivery order didn’t come in” she had to return to have us choose something different That’s a lack of Restaurant management skills in my opinion Also, the steaks that were ordered at different rare levels were placed in front of wrong people We both took a bite before we noticed and had to swap dinners A self proclaimed fine dining restaurant that charges these prices shouldn’t have amateur mistakes of this type It detracted from the special event evening

Steven Spurlock

It was a wonderful meal Sherry F Is why it was so wonderful

Her personality was amazing I have been in many restaurants around the world, I would have to say Sherry was one of the best servers I have ever had It was my wife’s Birthday and Sherry added that extra special touch She was so intentive I am a water drinker and hate to have to ask for more My glass was never empty Thank you Sherry for all you did!

One of the best if not the best Hampton Inn I have ever stayed at, and this is my normal go to hotel Seemed exceptionally clean and the breakfast options/quality were above average Location is in a quiet and secure felling area

There is easy close access to gas, groceries, restaurants and some shopping My room was set up well the bed was comfortable, it had a nice TV with a fairly large variety of channels I spent three nights there and I found no real negatives with the hotel

Deborah Evans

A true pet friendly hotel They have a fenced grassy area that was so great for our dogs Breakfast was very good with lots of options

Rooms were clean and comfy All of the staff that we met were pleasant and helpful Located near lots of restaurants and shopping One of the things I noticed is how quiet it was even though the hotel was full If we are in the area again, we will stay here

Ian Stroszeck

Had a great nights sleep with an excellent free hot breakfast in the morning Very clean and modern decor too Staff was courteous and kind

Only gripe with the room was the barn door bathroom doors They have HUGE gaps that make using the bathroom, if staying with someone else, not feel private Noise-wise too Definitely not a deal breaker especially since most of the Hilton hotels have them, but I really wish it was just a regular door, or at least a door that somewhat sealed

This is the most delightful place to stay The rooms are gorgeous and clean with very thoughtful touches like makeup remover towels The staff was very accommodating of my grandma who required a wheelchair access room

They remembered her and followed up at breakfast to make sure she was taken care of Everyone there is extremely kind and caring and the breakfast was next level good The morning I was there I was able to try a fresh frittata and blueberry French toast in addition to fresh baked muffins and fresh fruit The lobby and common areas are so cute and well decorated I can’t wait to return The vibe is so comfortable and sweet It feels like coming home

I did NOT stay And I’ve never left a bad review for a circumstance like this! Although I have stayed there before a few x years ago and liked it ,Today I went in to inquire about a room I appealed to the woman informing her that I’d had a very hard ( loss) today and would it please be ok if I looked at a room prior to booking as I “really need the privacy and to be comfortable tonight ” she was so horribly rude saying it’s “against the rules”I said “Human to human, woman to woman, could I just peek in with you from the hallway? She snapped back NOI asked if she was the manager

She said It’s “MY business and NO due to Covid”?? (She wasn’t wearing a mask)Then she added there’s no room here anywayI told her she was incredible rude and callous and I’d never book here againWhat’s become of regular manners and empathy? I’m a senior and was clearly calm with a calm voice but visible tears

If what you expect from a hotel is a bed and four walls then this place has you covered, barely though Cheap hotel doesn’t even begin to describe the sub par accomodations Most of the people working here were friendly when I spoke with them

However, not much was done in terms of making it a nice place to stay Linens in the room seemed mostly clean The carpets were another story Stains and smell prevail At least a place like this has a free breakfast buffet We all know what to expect but when I come down at 7:30 to find no plates and most of the fresh food gone then I start to question everything else A chain hotel should at least offer a clean and adequate experience This hotel couldn’t get any of that right

This BW is easy to find in a quiet business park location with plenty of parking We stay here often The staff has always been friendly and professional

The building is older with large spacious rooms Beds are comfortable and our sheets, pillows and towels are always clean and freshThe hotel offers their complimentary breakfast in a secure room just off the spacious lobby Hand sanitizer is prominently placed as you enter the room Hot and cold meal choices are offered with fresh fruit and standard cereal choicesThere is a nice Mexican restaurant a few steps from the hotel

The room wasn’t very clean, if it were up to me I would have left The linens had long thick black hairs on them in places and the carpet had stains The building is extremely outdated and not in a great area

Shower had hair, too, but got very hot and stayed hot so that is goodWe went down for breakfast in the morning and opened the door to the breakfast room and were met with an extremely musty, unappetizing smell Not only that, but they had allowed someone to take their dog in there Keep in mind, counters and tables aren’t super high So we just turned around and left, the smell + the dog was too much Didn’t look like it had a service vest on or anything like thatWouldn’t stay again, I would suggest crossing the river and staying somewhere in the more populated area for $10 more Staff was nice and room had plenty of space, other than that not a great experience

Stayed here for 2 nights We got a room with hot tub and it was highly relaxing experience The Farm is well maintained and Gregg is a good host

As other reviewers noted, he is a great cook and we enjoyed every single bite during breakfast Gregg went above and beyond to make a meal for our toddler who has a bunch of food allergies

We had a delightful stay at Wildwood Farm The setting was charming It reminded me of a resort farm that we stayed at in Norway with the rolling lawns and wildlife about

Our room was very comfortable, the breakfast was outstanding and we especially enjoyed watching the eagle activity from the expansive view provided by the front windows in the lodge Our host, Greg, was an excellent cook and we had a fun and informative conversation with him I highly recommend this stay for comfort and attentive care

It doesn’t get much better than this for a great family B&B horse farm! We had such a great weekend retreat at this peaceful, comfortable and delicious B&B Our girls, 25 and 6, both had wonderfully memorable horse riding lessons

The completely homemade breakfast each day was delicious We all loved having s’mores around the campfire We highly recommend and will be back soon

Absolutely fantastic place to stay I could go on and on, but that’s the take away Earlene and Kevin were wonderful hosts and happy to answer any questions about what to do in the area

Lovely folks The suit was beautiful We stayed in August but would have loved to stay over in winter as well-and we just might! Frankly, we were disappointed we had so many plans when we were there to visit, as we would have loved to just stay at the hideaway with a book and a bottle of wine for the whole week With a breathtaking balcony view, fireplace, walk in shower with 6 shower heads and a full kitchen, it just felt like home Maybe even better! And as if the balcony wasn’t enough, head on down to the private waterfront overlook, next to Kevin’s personal vineyard If you can’t find your zen place here, then medication is you’re last hope Thanks so much for having us and we hope to be back soon!

It was everything we expected from a family run B&B, and more Joan and John are phenomenal hosts There was a wholesome genuine vibe from the time they welcomed us to the time we left

We felt very comfortable in their home The beds were comfy, each of our rooms (and we took the entire upstairs between our 5 family members) had its own bathroom and full access to the balcony We had a chance to enjoy an evening around their fire pit and were pleasantly welcomed by a candlelit outdoors Their breakfasts were easily some of the best food we enjoyed throughout our trip, thank you chef Joan!

Our stay at Katy’s Inn was delightful We couldn’t have asked for a better experience The Inn itself is beautiful – a well preserved old historic house just a couple blocks from the heart of downtown La Conner

Our hosts, John and Joan were so welcoming They constantly went above and beyond to make us feel at home, comfortable and well informed We really enjoyed chit chatting with them And they are both excellent cooks as we found out at breakfast each morning The breakfasts were plentiful, delicious, well balanced in flavors, colors and textures, and locally sourced as much as possible My husband said that the best meal of each day while we were in La Conner was our breakfasts The whole place was meticulously clean We stayed in the garden room and it was lovely, light and airy We were supplied with super soft sheets, towels and bathrobes plus everything else a quality inn or hotel would provide And the bed was very comfortable – and I’m picky about beds! There was a beautiful wrap-around porch with rocking chairs, an upstairs deck, a gazebo and gardens that we look forward to enjoying when we come back in warmer weather It’s obvious that John and Joan have put their hearts and souls into this place and created a little piece of nirvana

Our stay at Katy’s Inn was wonderful! Quaint, comfortable, and charming Loved the old house and the outdoor space is beautiful We really enjoyed the communal breakfast with the other guests, it was absolutely delicious too! They also have an outdoor seating area with a fire pit that was pretty awesome

It is walking distance to town, it really couldn’t have been better We would recommend it to everyone and will be happy to visit again in the future!!
