I requested a smoking room and the guy Gillie who checked us in told me it was smoking room day I rented my room for week they charged me $445 but took $663 off my card called me liar basically then when we left they wouldn’t return the pet fee with no damages made then charged my card $100 twice for cleaning fees bc I smoked in room first night bc I was lied to there was no smoking and I asked 2 or 3 times make sure it was smoking room bc online on their website they say they provide smoking and none smoking If u rent a room here never use ur car bc they will keep finding reasons to charge ur car This is worst hotel I’ve ever been unfortunate to stay at and I’ve rented a room with bugs in the past I would still stay there get eaten by bug all night before them cleaning out my bank card

The women at first desk even said she wouldn’t charge the cleaning fee for smoking and only keep my pet deposit to be even and soon as I walked out the office my card was hit with 2 charges This place is a rip off and I’m call corporate Also the website lies no pool no breakfast and no ice machine and ur lucky if u don’t pop a tire driving in parking lot

Wish I could give it less than 1 star Parking lot was not plowed, totally iced over and due to construction, the only side allowing cars to exit the rear lot is on a 45% angle Our car got stuck twice getting up with winter tires

The hallways were atrocious, like an abandoned building The room was disgusting for a franchise The vinyl flooring was peeling everywhere and completely frozen, shoes needed at all times No phone available to contact front desk Worst of all the ancient room heater never actually warmed the room and the floors stayed frozen and room stayed cold throughout the night What was their remedy to the situation? “Sorry we can’t do anything for you, you should have come in at 6am after checking in a 4am so we could switch your room for you mid morning” Zero customer service, lowest possible quality, stay far away!

Honestly this place was not that bad for the 60 bucks we paid in a pinch, the roads were getting icy and we had to stop The rooms were the cleanest 60 dollar a night room I have ever stayed at, and the front desk was very friendly Don’t come here expecting a 5 star experience, but you will get a clean room, tv, mini fridge, and a microwave

We are always treated very well when staying at this hotel The staff is friendly and most welcoming Mary Beth at the front desk is one of the main reasons we keep coming back to this hotel

The rooms have all been refreshed since we first started staying here many years ago and the changes are high qualityThe lounge is lovely and offers good quality food at reasonable prices The only thing it lacks is a better selection of beers A nice IPA would have finished my day beautifully!

Check in was smooth and clerk was friendly and efficient Location nice Room was clean and beds were comfy

No real complaints about the lodging Sadly a big issue with the restaurant Perhaps a one off, but my wife and I ordered salads at around 8:45 pm on a Saturday evening, mostly because most restaurants in the area seemed to be closing at 9pm I had ordered a steak salad and my wife a chicken salad When the food arrived I couldn’t believe what I had received The ‘steak’ was literally half inch squares of black crunchy, foul smelling ‘charcoal’ As if they had been either burned sitting in grease on the stove top for a half hour, or perhaps deep fried in putrid oil Not etable My wife’s chicken also was as dry as cardboard I didn’t bother complaining to the waitress (who was nice), but because we were very hungry, rather just chucked all of the steak into a napkin along with some of some of the impacted lettuce, and ate a no meat, half salad Wife ate around hers as well Not sure how this could ever have made it out to a customer, I’ve rarely have had such a poor experience in any restaurant and, I generally like to showcase great food and service in my reviews Hopefully a one off, or something that this team can work to correct

My husband booked a suite for our weekend away It was clean and spacious The pillows for our bed were terrible though

I’m not sure how they are as hard as they were, but if you’re able, bring your ownOn to their food service We had dinner here the first night We had the lounge to ourselves The service was good, and the fish fry was decent The fish was a little too crunchy, but tasted good My only real complaint is the lima beans in the mixed veg!We came down at 9:30 for breakfast, later than we had planned There was no bacon and the eggs were overcooked & getting brown from sitting in the chaffing pan too long Other than that it’s your typical free breakfast buffetOur second night we ordered pizza from a place in town, and wanted to get a drink from the lounge We went in there and there was no one around We went to our room and called down The server was really rude; it wasn’t the same one from the night before bc she said she didn’t work Saturdays I asked if they had room service she said they didn’t deliver alcohol I said ok, and for the sake of time thought I’d order our drinks over the phone, so they would be ready when we got there She got snappy with me, and said she was doing her last call at 9:40, and said again they don’t deliver drinks They’re open until 10 We didn’t bother getting drinks If making money is an inconvenience for you, then you don’t need my businessFront desk staff and housekeeping staff were friendly and pleasant to deal with

The rooms/bathrooms were very clean and nice The hotel is in a good location near food places as well as stores The staff was very pleasant and polite from start to finish

The older lady doing the breakfast was a delight every morning, greeting everyone and keeping everything stocked the entire time We came in town to visit Holiday Valley and we will definitely be back next year!

On arrival employee was very nice and explained everything to us We then went to our rooms and was getting settled we realized one of the rooms ac was not working Unfortunately maintenance was not working and unable to fix

We had adjoining rooms so we were able to cool down the rooms that way They did offer us a different room but didn’t have adjoining rooms available despite that we had a nice stay It was close to a lot of shops and restaurants within walking distance There is a bar restaurant right next store All the staff that we had seen was very friendly and helpful We are already planning our next stay in the fall

sharon baker

This was the second Holiday Inn Express we stayed in this month The one in Olean is close to the highway which is convenient if you’re just traveling through The room was fine

It had actual towel racks to hang your towels on which doesn’t happen in every hotel room now The bed was comfortable and my favorite thing is that the breakfast goes until 10 on weekdays We usually arrive late when we’re traveling and therefore do not want to get up early for breakfast All of the employees were very friendly and helpful The entire experience was very similar to the other Holiday Inn Express that we stayed in which was near Madison Ohio along Route 90 That was the first time we stayed at a Holiday Inn Express and we were impressed enough that we stayed in another one on the way home

Rooms were very clean and all the towels were very nicely arranged – a pleasant surprise after a long drive Rooms were large Staff were chatty and friendly

Breakfast could have been improved with higher quality produce – it was pretty poor in comparison to other best western hotels Breakfast tables needed more frequent wiping down

So let start with this About 6yrs ago my wife and stay here It was a good night and the room was also nice and clean

So we were looking for a place to stay when we came home to visit So we decided to stay with you guys again This time we stay for 3 nights with are family We had one of your big rooms It was clean But the beds were not that great The pool was nice But on the 3 night and 4 days we were there The fruit was moody that they were just being the same dish out every morning Also no one ask us how we were doing or if we needed anything I had to ask for more stuff Also they never told us that the internet was down and we needed it on the first day that were there for a zoom meeting But the manager help on that one So that is way I’m giving you 2 star’s this time
