Happy to say I enjoyed a great stay in the Baby Ruth room too, we found everything we needed and more in this historic home Marti and Stormie both were gracious and we felt right at home Not to mention a happy, happy breakfast with a myriad of options

I think the homemade ketchup and locally sourced sausage were my favorite Can’t wait to go back:)

My husband, sisters and I had the pleasure of spending Valentine’s day at this little gem I’ve visited many b&b and by far this on was the best We were greeted by Pam the innkeeper

Her spirit was so inviting it will warm you soul before you walk in And did I mention she can cook!!!! The house itself has so much history and sex appeal I loved that I felt right at home Melanie the owner greeted us in the morning with a smile I could see even though she was wearing a mask From the moment I spoke with her on the phone weeks before our stay she went out her way to make sure it would be a stay we would remember I really wish I had more time to enjoy the house no worries there because we will be back Thanks for reminding me there is still goodness in the world

We’ve stayed here a couple of times while visiting Two Kings casino It’s about ten miles away We had a king room

The rooms are not large but are comfortable They are clean as well We had the free breakfast and it was okay The lady working in the breakfast area was friendly and kept it stocked well I was very pleased with our shower too They provide quality shampoo and the water pressure was awesome! We stayed in a room on the back and heard a fair amount of road traffic but not to the point of keeping us awake Also we had a hard time getting the air conditioner to properly cool the room It was loud and cooled only for a few minutes then turned off We would probably stay here again The price was fair compared to other nearby hotels

Ashley Baddeley

First impression beautiful hotel I hate to leave a review but this one really got to me We booked a stay for 2 nights for the three of us

We were there for work We arrived everything went well but later on we noticed that our bathroom wouldn’t flush We called down to the front and the lady was nice enough to try and see if she could fix it due to maintenance not being there She tried but no luck The lady told us maintenance would come by first thing in the morning So for the first night we had to keep going to the lobby to use the washroom Keep in mind 3 women and 1 of us being pregnant So lots of bathroom breaks The pregant one has not had an easy pregnancy so there for having to get sick in the shower since we didn’t have a toilet to flush After going to work the next morning and coming back we were still without a running toilet After that we decided just to check out a day early and go to another hotel We went down stairs to check out and the front desk said I would have to check out the next day when we were suppose to depart I then explained to the front our situation and why we were leaving and then the front happily checked us out then I then received my invoice the next day and the checkout time stated that we checked out the next day showing that we stayed for the whole reservation which we in fact did not! We checked out a whole day early Definitely not worth the money!I think the best part of all of this was when they offered us $20 for the inconvenience 🤣 what a joke! Stay Away

Chuck RF150

The room was very nice and the shower was extremely well-appointed My only disappointment regards the “free internet” which was non-existent I opted to pay the $4

95 to connect to the high-speed data and was surprised to be charged the fee four times! The clerk agreed to reduce that to two charges but defended their policy by telling me that I must have signed in four times – this makes no sense, so beware The location was convenient and the hotel is very nice

I paid $156, a bit much for what I got Room was clean Shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower we’re completely empty

The standard holiday inn breakfast is pretty basic The heat/ac unit in the room wasn’t functional Room was almost 80 degrees, but thermostat was set on 60 and cool and unit was still blowing hot air Does have a guest laundry which was a nice feature

Airborne Trucker

Average at best,3 stars for the semi truck parking Checked in around midnight and the lady seemed to be annoyed with us Stayed on the 3rd floor, which smelled like smoke

The room didn’t smell like smoke thank God! Hotel needs a real good deep cleaning If you want the hot breakfast go before 9am Most items were out at 845 Only way I would stay here again is if I had no other options Semi truck parking parking for about 4 trucks (gravel lot , easy turn around)

david isom

Staff was friendly, unfortunately the stay was not great The r room smelled like a wet dog, which was mot likely a dirty ac, BUT during the night there was a kid running up and down the hall and to top it off some one in one of the rooms was vaping which carried to our room and Woke us up It was too strong of an odor to ignore

So we checked out although the did offer to change rooms but we didn’t to take a chance of it happening in another room

Got a king room expecting it to be of decent size, but it was tiny Could use some updates The television was small

No table to eat at The first day we got there, it was drizzling and they closed the pool for the rest of the day (like 7 hours, after the skies were clear and no storms) Continental breakfast was okay, except they reuse food from the day before Biscuits were hard Omelettes were from the day before and still ice cold from the fridge, I’m sure But the bed was very comfortable Soft sheets and pillows Staff was courteous Good parking Back door access was extremely useful

Carolyn Rudd

This was my first stay at a Hampton Inn I was please with the staffing Reception was great

The house keepers were very pleasant and attentive to our needs The staff in the kitchen were neat and clean, friendly and attentive to our needsI have one complaint Our room had residual hair from the previous visitors in both the bathroom and in the bedroom ares There was also evidence of a pet that was in the room I am a stickler when it comes to cleaning That is a n issue for meWhen we come back next year, I hope that this will not be a concern Hint hint, we will be back

Kevin Becatti

Staff was welcoming and always greeted as we walked by The breakfast was clearly bulk hotel food but was way better than others I’ve had The room we got had a king size bed and was clean

Towards the end of our stay we noticed ants in the room and elevator It was nothing that I felt the need to complain about but only reason for a 4 star The gym was clean and had all the equipment anyone would need I will be back for sure

Wow! What a carefree, quiet, peaceful and fun place to stay!! Lisa and staff are amazing! They help you get to your campsite and back in! We stayed in a premium site and let me tell you, they’re massive! The wood swing, stainless grill, fire pit and view and the sound of the pool was amazing! Huge space! I will say, if your child brings a scooter just know the entrance to the campground is paved but the rest is gravel The premium site had enough space for her to go all over in the scooter The pool was closed because, April but it looked like it would have felt great! This campground is out in the middle of no where so enjoy the natural pines! Thanks again Lisa!

Angel & Amy’s Adventures

Looking for a quite friendly Campground and found this gem🙏 really well kept, very clean and Lisa is Amazing Looked around and can honestly say this Campground is perfect, showers are immaculate 😁 laundry facility is always clean Firewood and knick knacks available at office

Another huge plus is propane fill up on site Definitely in perfect location 👌

Amy O’Connor

Friendly staff and campers Clean grounds and bathroom (HUGE plus for me) Small and uncrowded site

Nice clean poolProbably wouldn’t recommend for older kids if your camping longer than a day or two, not much to “do” Loud location, on the street it’s located But even w the negatives, I’d stay again
