We stayed for a short weekend and checked in late Friday night The staff on third shift were really nice and very friendly We were a little concerned with the closeness to the airport, but I think we heard a plane once

We even commented on how we hadn’t noticed any Housekeeping is great as the room was very clean I sani wipe everything when I get to a hotel room and there was never any residual dirt The room is spacious, modern and comfortable Oddly enough the bathroom and vanity area didn’t match the rest of the decor and looked dated, but still clean and comfortable At checkout the assistant manager even went above and beyond to help me get information about the headboard pillows they use because my husband really liked them The only downside is the pool is very small Like downtown Chicago hotel small

Bridget s

Front lobby, halls, elevators and room were clean and updated Bed was comfy, hotel was quiet at night We were on the front side of the side near the road, traffic did not bother me while I slept

I was not pleased about the extra charge they add to your card without letting you know The charge does go back within 24-48 hours after check outWas not there long enough to enjoy any of the amenities, but the pool looked nice from the hallwayOverall, nice hotel, fair price and would stay there again next time we’re in Louisville

Henry Jackson

Clean hotel Checkin was effortless, and the room was better than I expected I loved the big mounted TV that was easy to watch from the bed and from the couch

My room was spacious and clean, and had an excellent view of Kentucky Kingdom (which was closed unfortunately), and incoming planes landing at the airport, which is only minutes away via the hotel shuttle, which was also clean and nice I’d definitely stay here again

Update: The Omni Hotel is a beautiful experience This ability to be able to go to the Market, two restaurant’s, and a beautiful restaurant are great This place is not for those who want too get a hotel room and stay in, I would not recommend it

The room is a little underwhelming, with no microwave available in the deluxe room, a bourbon bar that is not accessible and only two towels unless more are requested This is not to say that the Facility is not worth a visit though If you are able and willing to spend more, you will get more The market has beautifully crafted breakfasts, a small coffee shop, and a place to purchase essentials The library is a good place to relax and work, and both restaurants, while a little on the pricey side, are absolutely amazing The atmosphere is also a beautiful thing to be apart of You are treated very well by all staff members all the way from the valet to the bar tender within the library I would definitely recommend this place for those seeking a wonderful experience I would not however recommend this place to those who are looking for a getaway on a budget It is in no way budget friendly

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your room They compare countless booking web sites and typically will have prices much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is one of the highest rated in this area

I have been staying here for a long time If you choose this place you for sure won’t be disappointedThis was was one of best hotels I stayed in It was very clean and the staff was 5 star From the time we pulled in for valet parking, to the front desk, to the bar was excellent We wanted to visit the adult beverage store but it was closed, The gentleman in the customer service area that worked the cash register close to Heine Brothers opened up for us just to see what you had Top notch customer service from the entire staff! Most definitely one of my top pick hotels in Louisville

Alex Tigges

Super busy the night that we stayed Most of the staff were super friendly The room was very nice, only the 7th floor, but the view is pretty good

Coffee shop was awesome Pin + proof was cool, went twice the first time was quiet but received great service, The second time was excessively loud and didn’t stay Reason for reduction of one star was standing at the bar, at the Library, and kept getting skipped over for service Stood for 20 minutes then walked away

This was a nice hotel Very clean The staff was cordial

The breakfast was disappointing There needs to be vegan options There was packaged oatmeal with brown sugar already in it and then there were extra toppingswhy? Please, get a bulk container with a dispenser attached and fill it with some whole grain rolled oats Keep the toppings there and we’re good! You’ll save a ton of money just by making this one change

Mike Ross

Stayed 2 nights in mid May The room refrigerator didn’t work and was not fixed or swapped out during our stay A bucket of ice was a decent substitute

The full breakfast lacked bacon Only sausage and eggs plus the other continental type items The room was nice Clean Kids liked the indoor pool Excellent location for the Exhibition Center Staff was friendly I would stay again if ever in Louisville

Hank Fuller

Nice facility Located near airport Earplugs were provided

But we didn’t experience any noise issuesComplimentary hot breakfast was good except for the “hot” part The eggs and sausage were at room temperature Hot food needs to be maintained at a temp over 140⁰F to prevent bacteria growth This needs to be corrected

Desk staff was extremely courteousFacility location is great for the Expo Center!Limited WiFi in our third floor roomCounters clean

Floors swept Fridge clean inside Good AC Window also opened Nice TV Front desk staffed whenever we were in the lobbyDid not hear the planes at the airportSheets clean, but had multiple visible stains Accumulated dirt and grime in corners of bathroom and in cabinetry/closer Back security door isn’t consistently closed by guests despite sign requesting it be closedNot sure if I was informed in advance about 100 security deposit when I booked the room I was surprised by it at check-in, but I might have missed it in reservation detailsWill probably stay further out from the Expo Center next visit at another brand hotel because the price was high for the room quality This is a great location if you must be close and the people are great

I booked 2 rooms days for May 26-29 before my arrival I also called twice to let staff know that I would be arriving around 2am Friday morning I was driving from South Carolina

I was advised that everything will be fine upon my arrival I get to the property and was greeted unpleasant just to be told that they only had one of my rooms available We arrived around 1:40 am Friday morning so I was confused on why both of my rooms weren’t available I asked multiple times how and why did this happen I offered to go get my phone out of the car to show the front desk attendant my booking confirmation Initially I was told I don’t need to get my phone because they had no extra rooms to accommodate me and my other guest( I had a total of 3 people including myself) I asked if I could speak with a manager to sort this out I was told I could at 9am Then I was told I could go get my phone to show my confirmation But to no avail! Because the attendant calls the manger I assume and tells them I do have a confirmation for two rooms So she offers me a room for only one night After she ends the call and my mother and I are discussing amongst ourselves we will still have to figure out what we were going to do about the extra nights we needed the front desk attendant continues to yell and disrespect me and “says that’s what you get for booking online” I can’t magically make a room appear ” Not once was I rude until she decided she wanted to yell and curse at me The police were called on my mother and I all because I wanted an explanation My mother never had a conversation with the attendant yet when she called the police she stated that we both were aggressive and wanted us removed from her property We weren’t the aggressors She was And to conduct that type of behavior towards someone in your work establishment is unacceptable and very unprofessional Thank you for the example of how SureStay by Best Western in Louisville Ky treats certain customers!! I only gave 1 star because I could post without leaving a rating

Hailey

Overall great stay We stayed in the king suite and it was clean The breakfast was a good spread

The reason for a 4 star is because the sofa bed mattress had some red stains and was not nice to see so the couple ended up sleep on just the couch and the floor Close to the Kentucky Derby, like a 10 min drive and if absolutely needed an hour walk

The last time i was there, it was still on the riverboat; so i was excited to see the new casino The casino itself is very nice, the staff very friendly and helpful I tried the new virtual blackjack and video roulette, didn’t care for them to much; i like the interaction with the dealers

There wasn’t many table games open, but i did get there at 9am so maybe that was why They have raised the table minimum from $5 to $15, which i didn’t care for I will go back once more and see if my experience is any different All in all a very nice place to go and have fun

Yo

This review is based on our stay in the hotel, the casino was fine We stayed for one night to celebrate my birthday and upon arriving in the hotel we at first didn’t notice the lack of cleanliness until we came back up from a long night of gambling Once we realized how dirty the room was I was honestly shocked

I didn’t even sleep under the covers because I felt so uncomfortable There are stains all over the borders of the bed they look like they’ve never been wiped off There was a coat of dust over all the furniture, once again not wiped off There were stains on the curtains, couch, and even the little table next to the chairs The toilet was stained as well I took pictures of everything and would post if I could simply the room didn’t look like it had been properly clean and from a 4/5 star reviewed hotel I’m beyond disappointed with the lack of cleanliness Also when checking out, they didn’t even ask how we enjoyed our stay, just rushed us away, we did mention there was dust on the furniture and all she offered was to call housekeeping and did in the middle of us talking Also spent $30 on breakfast that was cold on arrival and tasted like hospital food If you plan on staying for your birthday, I highly suggest looking elsewhere

Barb Carlile

This place is really nice and the staff is exceptional The breakfast crew not only is polite and friendly but they can cook delicious food It’s clean and comfortable

The casino is really fun and again staff is exceptional I saw jackpots hit at this casino and the poker room is great Southern hospitality Don’t bother going to Caesars Indianapolis because it’s horrible No happy winners there and poker room uses tiny printed cards on ugly beige table and dealers aren’t trained properly Different owners

Tom Nakatani (t2co)

Hotel wasn’t bad at all and very convenient to the convention center across the street Service was great and friendly, the facility was nice, but it failed in a couple of key areasPrimarily it was the bed/bedding

It was adequate but the comforter only seemed to cover half the bed and everything was very lightweight Air conditioner and ambient noise were a bit too loud with random noises occurring all the time Bathroom was a bit cramped too but I ended up with a corner room so it may have been the layout They are still in covid mode and only clean the room every 4 days which is disappointing for a higher end hotelThe room also isn’t set up well for business travel with no real desk space I had to work off a couch and table and run my power cord from the wallService was good and they have an attached parking garage with Valet The hotel restaurant was uninspiring and generously 2 stars for breakfast You’re probably better off getting a sandwich at the StarbucksOverall I prioritize my rest over anything else at a hotel so I’m not sure I’d stay here again

Victor Neugebauer

Very big and spacious hotel, which is exactly what can be said about the rooms as well!Very clean, very spacious and comfortable Great for in-room workout routines or anything else that might require spaceThe staff is very friendly and accommodating, the connected Starbucks is trash, but I’ve got a separate review explaining why you shouldn’t get your coffee there

Other than that, the beds are comfortable, the bathroom is medium sized The shower is ok With the standard that this hotel set in all other categories I would’ve expected a bit more But ultimately it’s still a good shower!

Kory

Stayed 3 nights here and, overall, it wasn’t bad I used the hotel’s valet parking, and something was stolen from my vehicle So either valet didn’t lock the vehicle, or one of them is the thief

Front desk staff were friendly They told me during check in that housekeeping would be upon request only, which wasn’t a big dealThe room was nice, but there were a lot of stains on the floor and bedding There was a refrigerator in the room, a large TV, couch, chair, table, nice bathroom and shower, and a great AC system that kept me cool during the 100°+ heatwave that was moving through the areaIf I were to return to Louisville I’d probably stay here again, but I will not be using their valet service**UPDATE**Just found out they charged me for an extra night So if you check out early, don’t use the express check out as apparently they don’t check the key drop box regularly

Funny part is I had a reservation and I called the evening before, 02/07/22, to get an accessible room Between the male and female I spoke with I wasted 20 minutes and got nowhere Call back on the day of my check in for better info, is how the conversation ended

I was definitely not excited to go to this hotel, this coming from a diamond member of many years I called back the morning of my flight and got Megan the manager 4-5 minutes later the room was set, no issues Once I got there everyone was great and very friendly Breakfast was not bad, room was great, and coffee and tea were always refilled and hot Great stay, I was pleasantly surprised

Kynicka McNeil

I’ve come here a few times within the last few years, but this visit there was a few things that stuck out… one being the front desk receptionist Cerria, she was so amazing not only to us but to the children She was Super amazing Also James the driver was so sweet, he treated us just like family

These two are what makes the stay easy They were so genuinely nice We are so excited to have this spot to meet up with our family from out of town They have made our experience the greats! Thank you so much for being amazing to our family!

Chris B

I had high hopes since I like this chain Rooms are very large, new looking at first glance but I notice some upkeep issues already Not cleaning corners of counters, sink, Wallpaper already peeling in bathroom (likely design or application flaw

humidity from shower and basic wall paper is a bad mix)Breakfast was a series of Jimmy Dean items warmed up, scramble, sandwiches, etc Nice outdoor patios, pool, work out area Front desk team is good As others noted, I asked for a quiet room, maybe there is no such thing close to the airportFor one night it did the job

Adequate for an Affordable StayRooms were clean and well equipped with dated furniture that was functional There was ample storage and room to be comfortable Common areas needed attention especially the buildings grounds, weeds everywhere with a dead tree right outside the front entrance (first impression)

Overall if you’re looking for a quiet, average place to stay at a good price point with no frills this will work for you If traveling through I’d stay again but would not use this hotel for a long-term stay

Brandi Scott

Located off Fern valley road quiet hotel away from the interstate Rooms are very clean that front desk was very helpful during my entire stay Breakfast is Continental and good assortment of items They also have meeting rooms and swimming pool

I would suggest this hotel to anyone looking to stay somewhere economical as well as comfortable

Susan Lanham

I stayed on the 13th its now the 23rd and I’m still waiting on my deposit Uuuggghhh My husband and I travel often and I have never experienced anything like this They say 100% should be returned and they returned half and no one knows why

They tell me they are still working on it and tell me to have a nice day How, when there has been no kind of compensation for their mistake It was a nice place but unless something changes we will go elsewhere next time

The desk staff was super friendly and attentive to detailed requests The room was clean The bed was comfortable

I thought the lighting in the room was a bit dark, but that’s ok The little bit of computer work that I needed to do was by the desk light that was adjustable The continental breakfast was “eh” One morning the biscuits and sausages were obviously leftover and re-warmed from the previous day But when I came back about an hour later, the food was fresh One day they had this Frankenstein “bacon” Maybe it was turkey bacon or plant-based Regardless, I think they should have labeled it But that was a small matter I thought the price was a bit inflated, however, we were there during Easter weekend and the week before Derby festivities That may have accounted for the inflated price Overall, my hubby and I were pleased with the stay and intend to return this summer

Phyllis POLLNITZ

I give this hotel a poor rating this time, not because of it’s clean room, it’s friendly staff, nor it’s convenient location But it was because of an annoying flashing light in the middle of our room that Resembled a police officer’s car! When I called to complain about 3 AM the first night, he said maintenance will take care of it later that morning Well that didn’t happen and neither of us got good sleep, and both of us were very tired and irritable the whole 6 Hour Drive home! While we love the location, we may have to change hotels on next visit

It would’ve been so nice to get a call or reimbursement of some type, but it never came

swordoflorn

I’ve been staying at hotels across Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana for over a year, and I have to say, this one has the absolute worst customer service The lady on the phone was rude and hung on on me before we were done with the reservation Aside from a clean room, this is the most important aspect of a hotel

We stayed the weekend to attend the Farm and Machinery ShowThe rooms were marked way up, which is understandable, if the rooms were clean and we could have actually slept Saturday night Walking into the room, you could see that little effort was made in cleaning the room

When I walked into the bathroom, the floor was sticky The bathtub was dirty, and there was fresh caulking on the bathtub that was still tacky feeling I laid hand towels on the sink because when I lifted the tray of coffee items up, it was wet and dirty under it as well as under the mirror The vent for the air conditioner was half off, so if someone had a small child in that room, they could very easily get hurt The beds were comfortable, but the bedding had stains on it Also, there was a queen sized fitted sheet on a king size bed and it kept coming off We dealt with it, knowing how busy the hotel was On Saturday night, we arrived back at the hotel and we had no fresh linens and could tell housekeeping had not been there We went to the front desk and asked for linens We were told that you have to request housekeeping I understand the concept, but I would suggest to let guests know this upon check in Walking back to our room, there was a group by the elevator drinking and being very loud Not long after we got back to our room there were people yelling and screaming at each other, wanting to fightThis went on for about 45 minutes At that point I was concerned for my safety and could not go to sleep After that situation was over, there were people yelling in the halls until almost 3am I am unsure of why others were not removed from the property for being drunk, and out in the halls disrupting those trying to sleep I got maybe 3 hours of sleep and we went to have breakfast, which is very good Our waitress was one of the best My husband went to check out and told the front desk of the situation and got a very insincere apology We paid over 600 for two nights there and I will not do that ever again

Emily Kidd

I don’t normally leave reviews, but my experience here was terrible We came for the Farm Machinery Show, which from what I understand is one of the largest events Louisville holds each year We were told that every year prior, the hotel offered a shuttle to the convention center

Apparently they don’t do that anymore & they were pretty rude about letting us know that upon arrival (we had to ask first) The chair in our room had holes in the fabric The room itself wasn’t the cleanest Housekeeping is apparently only available upon request now (another thing we had to find out for ourselves) When we did request more towels and coffee pods, we received 2 towels, no coffee pods When we voiced our concerns to the front desk staff about this & more, she told us our room would be half price upon checkout When we checked out about an hour later, she changed her tune and only one night was charged at half price (half price still being over $150 for the night) I understand that Covid has been hard on everyone, but we weren’t shown any hospitality here from those in the ‘hospitality’ industry Next year, we’ll choose one of the many other nearby hotels who did offer things like a shuttle The Hilton or the Hampton are just two of many other hotel shuttles we saw all weekend at the expo center If you’re booking for the NFMS & are expecting a similar stay to previous shows, I’d say book elsewhere

J. Lamar H.

A great place to stay you are less than 3 minutes from the airport Really good spot a nice quick overnight to get a good night’s sleep so you don’t have to fight the traffic in the morning You’re able to leave your car at the hotel take the shuttle and then come back and pick your car up and go

Internet could be better and I will say this hotel is very active so if you want a good night’s sleep talk to the front desk to make sure you’re on the floor that is not as active as the one I was on

I had such a wonderful stay here! From the kind valets that greeted us outside, our quick and friendly check-in with Emily, our room, dinner, and everything in-between! Our room (Luxury King) was very clean and spacious Comfortable beds and great amenities Our dinner at Proof was delicious and our server Austin was so sweet and knowledgeable

We had waters delivered by the sweetest night auditor as well! Just a flawless stay and wonderful location!

This place is wonderful! Well appointed rooms, welcoming lobby, great restaurant! What makes this place stand out for me is the staff You will not find a more welcoming, genuine, and friendly staff ANYWHERE!!!! Every staff member seems to love being there The doormen are OUTSTANDING! We will absolutely be back to stay here again! If you stay elsewhere in downtown Louisville you are missing out! Also pet friendly for only $40! A lot of other hotels charge over $100 for a pet fee

This place is the best!

Disclaimer: I did not stay in the rooms rather I visited the art exhibit From a visitor from mid-west Kansas, it was a sort of fascinating, yet demeaning experience overall But that’s for the good

The artwork displayed were so intricate that at first-glance you could not decipher any meaning nor derive any pleasure looking at them This exhibit is not to showcase art to please your senses, rather the art is there to showcase the artist’s feelings about the world If this doesn’t sound like your art exhibit that is perfectly fine, art is not supposed to please everyoneI struggled for a long time to decipher what I should extract from each art piece and I frequently had to consult the descriptions located besides each piece I felt hopeless at times but it’s never wrong to ask for help, and heck if it’s just some black and white paint, that can be art in itselfMy only grip is that the merch at the exhibit was very pricey but very understandable I wish they just had mini red penguins so I can bring one to my sister for a price that doesn’t empty my wallet

Service has been better this stay! Our room has been cleaned and tidied up too Rooms are recently renovated with more modern decor Food options are limited and the walkway snack shop closes way too early which forces everyone to use the bar which isn’t feasible for everyone especially teens

Meeting spaces were well kept and easy to use for the most part but the rooms were either ice cold or hot Which it was summer but… over much more pleased this time around Glad they fixed issues of last year

Very friendly staff, easy check in, rooms was clean and comfortable Access to the Yum Center was great Valet service was fast and friendly

Close to “whiskey row”Cons:In room safe on the top shelf of bedroom closet, terrible access for a short person (I’m 5’2” and had trouble)Room service is non-existent Ordering take-out from restaurant in the hotel wasn’t an option either, they wouldn’t even answer the phoneAll in all a pleasant experience We’d stay here again

The newly remodeled room was VERY nice Comfortable, spacious bathroom, but NO MICROWAVE Sitting area was very nice, large sofa, desk and work area

Needs a more easily accessible charging station for electronic devices Check-in lines were 30 people deep More stations should have been opened Lines did move fairly quickly and personal were efficient and personable Each employee I asked for help was helpful and friendlyWe ate lunch in Walkers Exchange I ordered a Caesar Salad for $9 I got a plate of chopped Romaine lettuce with a little cheese sprinkled on top Very disappointing and way overpriced The fried green tomatoes were excellent chicken and dumplings was lunch special Dumplings were pretty good, but no chicken and the “sauce/gravy/gruel” seemed to be only cream of chicken soup Really? If I’m paying chef meal prices, I expect above average dishes We did not get them

Tru by Hilton is by far my favorite of the “budget” hotelsThe whole building is clean and modern Lots of wonderful amenities including coffee in the lobby 24/7 and a longer-than-normal continental breakfast

The room was clean, modern, had tons of storage, plenty of towels, and we LOVED the provided toiletriesCheck in starts at 3pm and their standard check out is 12pm!I was supposed to arrive late at night, so I called ahead to get checked in before arrival We got delayed by weather and construction, and didn’t get there until 5am The front desk attendant (I did not catch his name, unfortunately) was the same person who answered my call at 10pm and checked me in He was very helpful and even offered us a late check out despite the fact that they had a large turnover that dayOverall we were thrilled by our stay at the Tru by Hilton at Louisville Airport We will be making an effort to stay at Tru in the future and at this specific location on our next trip through Kentucky!

Erik

This location is decent, but it’s not as great as other Tru locations we have stayed atThe room’s quality and quality of service wasn’t as great as others we’ve had in the chainThere were no extra pillows available when requested

The room was clean and the check in/out process was easy enoughWe’d probably try a different Hilton in the area next time

Daniel Duran

I had an incredible time here as it was only for a night while we were heading down on our road trip with my girlfriend! We really enjoyed our room as it was quiet, clean and pretty stylish! The breakfast was amazing and the staff were great! I definitely enjoy any type of Hilton hotels as they normally have high quality hotels! I recommend it when staying in Louisville!

From the easy and quick check in, to their standard 12pm check out time, Moxy was amazing! The first floor has everything you’d need, games, a fireplace, a gorgeous bar with fantastic drinks, and cute little taco place attached!! There’s also a clean fitness area, and a little snack/drink shop The entire hotel was clean, and felt fresh! The room was cozy, it had a great view, and walk in shower The staff were all friendly as well! 10/10 would stay here next time I’m in town!

Taylor Wisler

For me the place is 5 stars, but it comes with a couple asterisks Do you like the idea of having the check in desk being at the middle of a bar? Do you like the idea of bare concrete ceilings and funky decor (think a picture of two guys in horse masks playing ukuleles)? Do you like the restaurant option being a place called “Zombie Taco?” Do you like the idea of the elevators having walls that are chalkboards to draw on? If so, you’re going to love this place If you want a more “traditional” hotel experience this place will feel too wild for you

All that being said, it’s not like this place is odd enough to be uncomfortable, it’s just that they’re trying to be creative and unique The location is good, the rooms were comfortable and quiet (concrete floors and ceilings are not the best aesthetically in my opinion, but they do provide good sound insulation) and the service was friendly Honestly a great place, assuming you’re ok with the funky kind of atmosphere they’re going for

Brandt Callahan

The Moxy will be our Go-to whenever we stay in Louisville The staff is incredible and so kind Justin, the bartender, is cool

The vibe here is simply awesome Had we not just had dinner, we would have eaten at the zombie taco kitchen they have Heard their food is really good We will give that a try on our next visit And another plus is that it is walking distance to all things downtown

I think 5 nights was about the limit for comfort The staff was awesome The room could use improved bedding

Water was great Hot without waiting forever Cold when wanted Parking is acceptable and there is a Cracker Barrel right next door The dinner establishment is clean and friendly but as is to be expected at any hotel, very pricey I will say this though, the young lady in charge of breakfast was a bundle of joy and freshness that made the morning easier to live with

Monica George-Jones

I love that they are close to the airport and have airport shuttle They do have oversized parking if you know what you’re doing They have a restaurant and a bar that opens at 5 PM

I stayed at the Louisville Kentucky Holiday Inn First time visiting Louisville I was there for a wedding

The hotel was nice and clean Comfy beds The breakfast was great Never had it like that in a Holiday Inn Great location Close to airport downtown and other places All said reason for 3 stars the staff was not very friendly They need to brush up on customer service 😒

0 Stars isn’t enoughTLDR- EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISRESPECTFUL GM Robert Cecil told me he was calling the police because my wife brought our dog into the hotel

My wife and I had been traveling across the country with our dog and chose this hotel because they advertise on Priceline as being “Pet Friendly” Our day was planned around stopping at this hotel and we arrived at approximately 7:20 pm While my wife checked in she told the front desk assistant that our dog was with us expecting a pet fee and was not informed that pets were not allowed After checking in I took the bags up to our room while she went to park with my phone still in the car (this becomes pertinent later) Once she entered the lobby with our dog and reached the elevator the same woman who assisted her at check in told her that dogs aren’t allowed and demanded her room number With me up in the room and no phone my wife said she needed to come get me so we could leaveWhen she got to the room and informed me of what happened we were both obviously upset that we would not be able to stay She immediately began making phone calls to find a hotel that would accommodate us and our furry friend while I began to repack our suitcases Within a minute our room phone range and the woman at the desk began asking if I had a dog and telling me that we had to leave I informed her that we did, my wife told me what happened in the lobby, and that we were leaving momentarily A few minutes later the phone rang again and it was the GM Robert Cecil On the call he told me that I had to get out or he would be calling the police When I tried to explain that I had just spoken to someone at the front desk and we are about to leave he became extremely aggressive and said that if we were not out in 10 seconds that he was calling the police and quickly escalated that to telling another employee to call the policeIf this is the way the employees here treat people over a misunderstanding between the hotel policy and what they advertise on 3rd party sites after we made it clear at check in that our dog was with us I cannot warn you against staying here strongly enough Robert Cecil has ABSOLUTELY NO BUSINESS being a manager after the way he treated me and my wifeI hope the owner of this location reads this and is able to reach out, I would love to discuss further with you With nowhere else to go we ended up next door to the Marriot Bonvoy location where Arielle at the front desk was extremely helpful getting us a room and informed me that you own both locations

In this order, we received total hospitality: Melinda, Tiffany, Alyssa and Candice These HOSPITALITY professionals showed us that excellent care still exist! Whereas the IHG Hotel located at 830 Phillips Lane, Louisville, KY just gave us customer service, the IGH, 447 Farmington Road, in Louisville had a goal of guest satisfaction! We left and went to the IHG on Farmington Road Upon checking in, Melinda assured us up front, “If there is anything thing that you are dissatisfied with, call me or come back to the front desk

Let me know I will personally make it right!” She said it and meant it! Candice, another wonderful front desk professional was just as friendly, attentive, and profession Alyssa and Tiffany, the other two professionals who provided great dine-in and carry-out food services Refreshing drinks were the highlights but these four professionals and super clean room,, we give a 5-star rating! Both my husband and I are in the hospital / patient care industry We hear employee complaints constantly Throughout our entire stay, we never heard employees complaining or even discussing ‘behind the scene” problems with co-workers or management This is a rare occurrence! Staff seemed grateful to be employed and happy to be around their co-workers Another valuable company trait! Amazon is good but these four professionals, Melinda, Tiffany, Alyssa and Candice made this Holiday Inn stay Fantastic!
