Great hotel in Napa Not right downtown but close enough Rooms are nice and clean

Grounds are really nice They have an outdoor area to grab a drink and hang out Outdoor TVs, dart boards, ping pong tables and corn hole Super fun to just relax outside and play games with friendsThe bar inside is nice and they have some good drinks The front desk staff is a little under educated on how to treat guests Not very helpful with requests

Alanna Knaus

This Marriott was a good-value place to stay in Napa; great location to travel up valley to the wineries without shelling out an exorbitant amount that you would for other hotels in town that may have more frills and amenitiesThe standout though was the service we received from the front desk manager Nichole We had a bit of car trouble on our trip, and Nichole immediately sprang into action and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable while the situation was handled

The outpouring of help and sympathy we got from all the staff was wonderful and made dealing with the situation much less stressful They also were able to hold our luggage after check-out before our flight to help make the “car fiasco” easierThank you again Nichole!!!!

This hotel does not live up to the Marriott experience I was aware that there was construction going on in the entrance area, but all other amenities that you normally get as an elite member were not available at this location Cleaning and room service was okay

The spa has none of the amenities that were listed on the Marriott site They also messed up on my billing One of the ladies at the front desk was always very dismissive Everything seemed a little off However, it was nice to have a garden patio room

Beautiful courtyard and pool! Loved the poolside service, fabulous setting and location Fantastic breakfast in a gorgeous setting Totally recommend! We usually stay at Hotel Yountville and this is very comparable at a much better price with breakfast included

Note: It would be amazing if they made this an adults only location

Patty Vollmar

Beautiful grounds, rooms and staff! Our room had a view of the vines a balcony and a fireplace Breakfast daily off the courtyard, inside or outside tables, server yourself with a lot to choose from including mimosas 🙂 The courtyard has a pool, hot tub, and tons of seating around the pool, and around 3 firepits among so many beautiful flowers Staff offered bottled water, helped with luggage, plenty of parking on site (no fee)

TOO MANY great restaurants within 10-15 minute walk (unless you want to borrow one of their bikes!) I can’t wait to return

Kelly Householder

Would have given this place a 5 star but the room had a terrible smell from the fireplace We ended up having to leave the slider open 90% of the time we were there They need glass on the fireplace to stop it from smelling up the room

That being said, the place is clean, super friendly staff, great breakfast , and a wonderful pool Would go back if there was a room without a fireplace

Here’s my final word on The Villagio… What you get here is location & proximity The lobby has a sexy contemporary vibe… but what good is a lobby really? It didn’t really make a great breakfast location because it’s not truly equipped for that (Breakfast is included but it’s in the lobby and it’s continental

)The rooms are well suited with nice fixtures & finishes, but they’re not that well equipped for the winter season The wall heater was a bit insufficient and the doors are drafty My room was cold The fireplaces are a nice aesthetic touch but not that much heat from those logs Lastly, my room had ants (Not a huge deal breaker but that was a first for an upscale hotel) – I am reducing to 2 stars because another review had ants a month agoThe service is 7/10 The breakfast left something to be desired I think they’re re-using day old bagels They could improve with a hot breakfast An omelette station, some mimosas & bloody Mary’s would go a long wayI may come back during the summer or spring but not sure I’d become a regular The high ceilings and the room itself were my fav

Erick Saenz

Hotel Villagio is a lovely place to stay The hotel has an amazing location, views and amenities The staff at the hotel are extremely helpful and polite

Some of the staff membersthat help us out to find new thing to do were Emmanuel, Marc, Christopher Salinas Me and my Girlfriend had an amazing time at the hotel and exploring Yountville

Nancy Rheingold

We were not overly impressed with the room we had At nearly $1200/night I would have expected a larger room, with more amenities There wasn’t even a shower cap

We requested feather free pillows and waited over 3 hrs to get them Additionally, our first day, the room wasn’t cleaned by 6 pm (We left our room at 9am) We had to complain repeatedly to get our room serviced Even though the manager didn’t end up charging us for that night, it left us with a bad feeling The breakfasts were adequate All in all, our expectations were not met When we stayed at the Vintage Inn a few years ago, we were much happier with the room and the breakfast Chances are, we would not return to the Villagio

We stayed here February 2021 Really nice quiet place It would make you feel so far away from the city, surrounded by abundant trees

Situated right next to the creek, very clean, rooms are nicely arranged and decorated The bed is very very comfortable, one of the most comfortable i have ever slept on The sheets are very smooth to the skin The room is spotless, i commend the person who cleans them One thing i would possibly come back for is the food, afternoon snack yummy, breakfast is simple but very tasty The balcony opens to the courtyard, fresh breeze, birds are chirping, just the right amount of sunlight in the morning I deducted a star because the internet connection was choppy at best when we stayed there, there was construction going on at the time, and everyone was super friendly except for one receptionist that worked one of the nights we were there was kind of condescending It is pricey but well worth it to get out of the city and unwind from the stress of life

Lauren Anderson

Wonderful quiet retreat for our 10th anniversary Stayed in the Astra room, and it was perfect, spacious room, deck with fire pit over looking the river its close enough to downtown that it was just a quick drive, or uber ride

Breakfast was delicious each morning, and plenty of options to choose from We had an early dinner reservation one evening, so we took our afternoon snacks back to the room to enjoy at another time I would 1000% recommend, and would stay again next trip

Alexandra Sanne

This is THE hidden gem of Napa We’ve stayed all over Napa Valley + Sonoma and this is my favorite place we’ve ever stayed The property is small – not a ton of rooms – and super well-appointed with fireplaces and seating areas all over the grounds, overlooking the river

The rooms are AMAZING with fireplaces, huge beds, beautiful bathtubs overlooking the river too The nightly happy hour and s’mores kits weren’t bad either! The staff at the hotel were amazing and super kind, giving us all sorts of recommendations and chatting about their experience in the valley They were also fantastic about communicating prior to our (one-night!) arrival and getting us checked in early – it truly felt like white-glove service Breakfast in the morning was great, too! My only gripe is I wish they were pet friendlybut it was kind of a nice getaway from the pup 🙂 I can’t recommend Milliken Creek enough!

Not what you’d think of when you see “Best Western” It’s not like a big hotel I’m thinking BW bought it out from a smaller company

Nice rooms, ours had a small balcony area Continental style breakfasts but a decent selection of items Nice little pool area and another sitting area surrounded by plants and flowers Free glasses of wine in the evenings and within walking distance to Whole Foods, a pet boutique, gas stations, lots of small local shops, restaurants and wine tasting rooms

Cynthia Hoeft

Great location, good size rooms, and beautiful courtyard! Staff was friendly and helpful The courtyard was lovely with Jasmine everywhere, fountains, statues, chairs, fire pit There is a pool, hot tub and sauna

The main thing lacking is breakfast was not that great, they tried but it was comparable to a gas station quick bite I appreciated the orange juice and coffee but the food was not that great but better than nothing

Palvi

The staff were so accommodating to us, we had contacted the hotel before booking with regards to leaving our vehicle and luggage as we would be arriving early and were going on a wine tour They had no issues with this which worked out well for us The room was large and also clean

Not noisy either, we were in walking distance from Sonoma Square which had a variety of restaurants available Breakfast was included at the Inn and there was a variety of juices and hot drinks as well as cereals bagels and fruit

Elysia and her mom were perfect homes, the room we rented was absolutely spotless The linens were fresh, fluffy and smelled great The breakfast was fantastic and the entire Inn was very cozy and conveniently located

Thank you for helping to make our anniversary stay such a wonderful experience! We would definitely return in the future

Archibald Dessert

We showed up late and the staff was able to get us situated very promptly The hospitality was amazing and it truly felt like a home away from home Breakfast was scrumptious with fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit, and some killer french toast with bacon for the main dish

We stayed in the Arbor View room which was situated in a guest house a few steps from the main house The quiet and privacy was a nice change of pace from day to day life in Chicago There is complimentary wine and cheese in the afternoon which we were regrettably unable to attend due to wedding obligations All in all, an excellent choice and worth every penny!

Nathalie Malpica (Life’sLimitlessAdventures)

Our experience at Arbor Guest House was nothing short of amazing! The grounds were beautiful and very well kept We stayed in the Enchanted Dream room which was just wonderful The friendly staff made us feel right at home and were very helpful with helping us navigate around Napa

Every breakfast was exquisite, happy hour every evening was fantastic and the location is perfect Its a short walk to downtown We cannot wait to go back!

Wonderful 360 views from the Hilltop which has Firepits, gathering areas and a mesmerizing pool Borrow a book and read in a spot of your choosing The Rooms and entrance/front desk sits at the bottom of the hill with meandering walkways and groups of units

Unlike a hotel with halls and rooms, here it’s laid out with rooms as separate “houses” with porches and front lawns Great place to relax, walk, meditate and socialize Shuffleboard and bocci for funMarket where you can purchase sundries, goods, drinks and snacks

David Woon

Only came for dinner on date night! Reservations are a must of you bank on eating here as it does book out way in advance If not you can still come to explore the beautiful grounds with Bocci ball courts, raised vegetable beds, chickens and a market to boot! The enormous covered patio features great loungers and fireside seating where if you did not have restaurant reservations still provide a smaller bites menu from the bar With drinks of course!

Came here for our 10 year anniversary in napa This hotel was a great location, small and clean just great It is pricey but worth the cost

I didn’t notice too many hotels in area with pools etc we stayed 4th of july middle of week in the vineyard view rooms upstairs with balcony so nice Just sitting on the porch every morning seeing the sunrise with the coffee they give you was great pool, jacuzi and fire wasn’t that busy the whole time we were there and the breakfast was great There were a few minor things with the room that could be improved one of the sinks was clogged up and one of the lights were out on the ceiling Also noticed a big spiderweb in the corner of the porch balcony with a lot of bugs in it like it’s been there awhile

Ashley Payne

From the moment I drove onto the grounds, I knew I would love this place It is absolutely stunning The staff was kind and welcoming

Our room was spacious and the bathroom was a dream It was so large with the most wonderful oversized walk in shower The robes and slippers were a welcome touch after spending a day in the rain in Napa The wine tasting by the fire place in the lobby was cozy and relaxing The breakfast was the perfect light meal in preparation for a day or wine tasting and exploring Highly recommend

Overall, we had a good experience here The staff are very helpful and the grounds are beautiful While our room was nice, it was essentially located in the parking lot (room 9), which was very disappointing

All of the other rooms were in much better locations If you stay here, I would specifically request not to stay in this room Also, there is a complimentary wine and cheese hour, but the wine was unfortunately very low end, not what I would expect at this type of hotel located in wine country

Ethan Bachmann

The reception area is beautiful and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable We stayed in the room with the stone soaking tub and it was gorgeous, the ambiance was perfect, and the tub was every we had hopedThe sake and wine offerings were a great touch

I loved sampling different sake and my wife loved sampling the different winesWe went here for our mini-moon but will certainly be back!

Walead Esmail Rath

The staff are wonderful but the place itself is a bit rundown and just not at all what you’d expect for the price The sound privacy in our room was bad (we could hear people in the hallway and on the street), the breakfast was half a step up from what you’d get at a hotel buffet, and the grounds are just very basic The rooms are priced like a luxury resort but what you get is very just ok

We were disappointed

Oh gosh this place was truly magical We stayed for two nights and wow I never wanted to leave! The grounds are absolutely stunning Our room with the pool view balcony was adorable and we loved the fireplace

I felt like we were in Tuscany The breakfast was great to have in the room, the waffle was a little dry but overall good food We were able to drop our bags and then go to a tasting before we checked in They brought our bags to our room My favorite part (sounds silly I know) was probably the heated tile in the bathroom SO amazing! Location is definitely a little far from Napa but worth the drive We will be back

Rene So

Very nice place, very relaxingThe rooms are big enough Air conditioning and heater working perfectly

And the room music system is also goodBut why 3 stars only ?Service is bad Service should be improved Nobody even helps you bring your luggage to your room They just show you where the luggage cart is locatedYou visit the front desk or reception for some inquiry and nobody is thereThe owner / top management need to put more staff We understand the condition now But this hotel is too undermanned

Lana Rivera

Had a great stay! Arrived a little before check as we had reservations for a message Room was available for an early checkin Absolutely no complaints the rooms was beautiful and service was great

Enjoyed a cheese tray and wine in our room Beds were comfortable and wanted to sleep with the windows open but we were afraid it would be to cold Fireplace was perfect for the cool morning Breakfast was complimentary and was served on time Spa service is in the top 3 I have every had although the service provider talked a little too much gratuity is automatically included

Came here for a vacation for me and my wife, this place has been above my expectations Rooms are great, clean and comfortable The employees I have felt with are absolutely fantastic and extremely helpful

When you are here you need to defiantly talk to Aaron C, and Daniel G Those two helped me find places for dinner for me and my wife and all the places that they have suggested were some of the best food I have eaten The two of them took time to help me with that as well as get ideas on where to take her for shopping and things to do They were both really nice had a smile and no issue helping me and giving me ideas so that I could make this the vacation my wife neededThey went above and beyond in helping us out all with a smile and being professional because of them I will most certainly be back here for another stay soon If you are here at the resort please go down and talk with them if I could rate them as well it would be 5 stars for them as well

Heather White

Check-in was rough We arrived an hour before, not a problem as there is plenty to do on property We were told our room would be ready at 4 and that we would receive a text

5:00 came and went, still no word We were forgotten and had to return to the front desk to remind them The room was nice We enjoyed the balcony Room service was out of main items all three times we called to order for different meals The grocer on property is not what we expected Sandwiches and snacks, all overpriced The brewery closed early on Sunday and was not open during the week The tasting rooms also closed at 7:00P The breakfast cafe across the street was great as was the staff Not one time when we went to retrieve our car were there valet available The grass area was nice for socializing, but everything shut down so early, very disappointing Our first trip to Napa We will choose a different venue for our next stay

Harjee Hans

My family and I had a great time at this resort There were lots of food and drink options at the resort but the best part was by far the service Aaron and Imani from the front desk and Diane at the pool helped us out immensely at check-in and throughout our stay

These three definitely made our stay 10 times better I would stay here again whether it’s with my family or a couples’ trips I cannot speak highly enough about the customer service we received

Our stay was very relaxing and the inn keepers, Kevin and Lorri, were fantastic hosts! The breakfasts are decadent and delicious! We stayed in the Sage Creek room, it had vaulted ceiling’s and a two person jetted tub Rooms were very clean, stocked with coffee pods for Keurig in the room, and even had a wine chiller! Be sure to close the blinds on the skylight to be able to sleep in :)The location is very close to downtown Napa and walking distance to restaurants and shops

We would stay here again in the future!

We stayed at this wonderful B&B April 25-28 We chose the Pheasant Dreams room due to the private garden and larger room This home is convenient to downtown Napa, the wine train etc

Lorri and Keven are gracious hosts and the breakfasts were delicious Lorri went above and beyond helping us host a wine and cheese night with our nephew and his wife visiting in Napa at the same time We highly recommend this B&B!

Our stay at the Hennessy House was very quaint & comfortable Lorri & Keven were such attentive hosts! Our suites (Bridle & Sage Creek) we’re so clean & the beds were very comfortable Lorri provided such wonderful breakfasts & even accommodated my daughter’s life threatening dairy allergy superbly! This made our stay all the more comfortable & special

She served fresh fruit, egg soufflés, glazed carrots, mini lemon pound cake bites—all freshly homemade & beautifully prepared, along with coffee, fresh OJ In the afternoons, she provided wine, cheeses, crackers & fruit, and provided a beautiful dairy free version to my daughter along with sparkling cider and tea options They even prepared freshly baked dairy free cookies for my daughter each day—Just so thoughtful & wonderful! Her attention to our details made us feel so welcomed, and helped us relax & enjoy our time even moreso! The suites in a separate building was just perfect to afford us privacy & a restful time!It was very close, super short drive to the Napa’s Farmers & Oxbow Markets…Thank you so much, Lorri & Kevin!

My husband and I stayed here while visiting Napa and seeing how beautiful the rooms were in the photos There was plenty of parking right out from when we got in and throughout our stay we never had an issue finding a spot When we checked in we received a bottle of wine and two chocolates as well as a taste of their house wine, which was wonderful to experience! We got a river view side room and while it didn’t look anything like the photos online, it was still very nice

The bed was comfortable, everything was clean, and it had a cute balcony to sit out on and look at the riverThey have live music on Friday and Saturday nights, which is fantastic, however if you are in your room on the waterfront side it is quite loud Additionally the insulation doesn’t seem too good between rooms either We could actually hear our neighbors talking and even snoring at night They also blasted their music very loud but it was nice of the hotel staff to ask them to turn it downThe gym was very small, basically full if you have 3 people in it So keep that in mind if you want to work out during your stayThe staff was all very nice and quick to help with anything you needed

For the price, the amenities could be better—difficult to get a hold of the front desk from room phones and the pillows were sub par For $600 a night I was hoping for more comforts A great location and they had lovely live jazz in the evenings

Ask for your complimentary glass of wine when staying there (we preferred red over the white)

We were charged a $250 “smoking fee” We called front desk and they told us that housekeeping “smelled smoke” We spent four nights in the hotel and were refused housekeeping during our stay

After 4 days of not taking out our trash or cleaning up, I am not surprised the room developed a smell, but to jump to the conclusion that we smoked was plain nonsense We obviously did not smoke and there was no photographic evidence of ash or cigarette butts As of this writing, the front desk refuses to overturn the charges We will have to dispute the charges with our credit cardWe booked through Costco Travel I would not recommend staying here

We just stayed there this past weekend and you can usually count on the Fairmont Sonoma mission inn spa to be pretty consistent, high-quality, and a positive experienceThe grounds are beautiful and the hotel staff amazing However, upon my arrival, I was surprised and startled because I felt that the valet who approached my car and window was not masked and you would think that due to the sensitivity of Omicron, I thought that he would’ve at least approached my car with a mask on since I had a mask on

That was not a great start to my weekendThe arrival then at the front desk was very positive and hospitable as I was approached with a glass of champagne and the gentleman kindly accepted my request to be on a lower level so that we didn’t have to climb as many stairs in that building It’s something to consider if you have trouble climbing stairs as there is no elevator in that buildingThe room was beautiful, however I did not get a great night sleep, and paying $500 a night at a luxury hotel and for the bed to be lumpy and uncomfortable is unacceptable I let the front staff know the next morning and they kindly removed $100 so instead of $500 it was $400 for a bad night sleep I really hope they upgrade their beds We booked massages and the spa was amazing and I highly recommend the spa even if it’s for the day and you sleep somewhere else

We had a great stay The grounds are beautiful and well kept The staff, particularly at the front desk, were really helpful

There are usually tastings in the lobby in the afternoons Our room was clean and comfortable It’s a short distance from the square but there are bikes available and a courtesy car that runs in the afternoon and evenings Would stay here again

Thank you for a great weekend – we arrived on a wet Thursday afternoon greeted with a glass of bubbly and a quick check in Which after a long wet day of travel was amazingWhat I most enjoyed about the Sonoma Fairmont were its perks

Excellent Concierge wonderful evening bands, stretch classes, hiking tours, mountain bikes and wine tastings Thank youEach experience was unique and added to our Sonoma trip There is only so much wine one can drink and having access to spa, stretching classes, bikes and gym made for great refresherThe guided hike and historical tour of Jack Landon’s park – great way yo start the morning Big shout out to their hiking staffOur Concierge was also great help A big thanks in helping us fill some voids in our wine tour schedule

My husband’s company hosted an amazing trip to this beautiful resort The room/suite was immaculate and furnished with top-notch appliances, decor, and amenities Stainless steel, clean, beautiful appliances create a comfortable and beautiful kitchen

This suite also boasts a wine bar complete with sink and wine refrigerator The bedroom and bathroom are separate and beautiful as well There is a patio facing the golf course The patio has comfortable furniture and a grill Both the living room and bedroom have sliding glass doors I’ve been to many hotels and resorts, and I’m enormously impressed with this one! The mansion is also a lovely location for events The indoor and outdoor spaces are lovely Staff is kind, attentive, and accommodating

This place is absolutely the worst They are outright thieves My husband and I have a $600 gift certificate and we have been told that the new management has “changed the rules” about how gift certificates can be redeemed

Boils down to the fact that there is no way to spend this money at the resort without losing a large portion of it $ people have told us 4 different things and we still have not been able to use a legitimate gift certificate in a satisfactory manner at the resort Tried to use it at The Grill and were told we had to spend all of it at one time or we would forfeit the remaining balance Highway robbery Can’t use it for golf – which is over priced anyway Can’t use it for food unless you spend it all at once Can’t use it at the spa – unless you book an experience that costs $600This is certainly illegal, as they don’t publish any restrictions on using it, they just wait until you get here and then explain that there are only very limited ways to use legitimate fundsDon’t patronize this place, they are awful

Mitchell Tu

We arrived, tired, at 2pm and were told that our rooms would absolutely be ready by 4pm at the latest In the meantime, we were literally sleeping on the couches in the main roomCome 4pm, no call or notice was given

So we asked the front desk, which told us there would need to be a wait of 30 more minutes Only after one of our party complained and asked for a refund did they give us another room If you had a room this entire time why didn’t you give it to us to begin with???Incredibly terrible service, the front desk had no sympathy nor willingness to be creative or flexible The rooms weren’t anything special either – you’re better off in terms of amenities at any business chain hotel, especially for the costThe golf course was great, I will say Food was good in the experience I had of it Grounds are pretty but not spectacular
