Danielle was very friendly and accommodating This was our 1st time being at a Tru and I think its so cool how there were snacks, beverages and games available for kids It’s a great concept

What would have have made it 5 Stars is a pool, hot tub, and bar for adults and this would’ve been awesome The rooms were very comfy and it was extremely convenient for the bathroom amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and lotion) to be available I would definitely recommend and stay again! 👌

We stayed at Tru By Hilton as an overnight stay in route to Destin The hotel was very clean and had all we needed for an overnight stay I liked they had a water bottle refill with an ice machine near by

I did notice a pool table and game area in the lobby which I thought was great if you wanted to get out of your room It’s off the beaten path which we liked since it made it a little quieter Restaurants are close by The hotel breakfast was decent Enough to get you going

Nick and Laura Johnson

We had to stay here due to a family emergency and it was nice coming back to a hotel that was clean and welcoming The rooms are a good size, but I found it odd that the only microwave is in the lobby Our room did have a fridge though so that was helpful

The breakfast was fairly decent with your normal array of breakfast items like bakery goods, cereal, oatmeal, breakfast meat, protein, and already made omelets

My husband and I had a wonderful experience! We are so grateful to Dinah and Wayne for their hospitality!Room had everything we needed (and more): nice hairdryer, fan, nice quality shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, make up remover, robes, bottled water, charging station We were right by the entrance door and we didn’t hear a thing There is a full-size refrigerator in the common area so we could keep our beverages cold

We were blown away by breakfast two mornings in a row The owners asked if we had any dietary restrictions at check-in We enjoyed freshly baked biscuits and croissants, homemade jams (peach and pear), freshly cut fruit bowls, excellent casserole and quiche Furthermore, all that goodness is served on a real china, silver and crystal tableware, on top of linen covered table Touches like classical music and beautiful Victorian details all around us made us feel like a royalty We enjoyed our evenings outside on the patioThe location was great It’s quiet, there is plenty of parking available There are a few fast-food options located in the walking distance It’s about 6 min drive to Downtown Columbia There were a couple of Lyfts/Ubers available as wellOverall, we couldn’t be more impressed! Thank you so much for hosting us! We are looking forward to visiting again

Kristen Kindoll

The accommodations are gorgeous What truly sets this place apart are the amenities The charging ports on the bedside nightstands

A little fan in your room to provide extra comfort The fresh flowers in our room The breakfast was delicious; each day was different I loved the little extras:A silver butter trayGrits in a crystal bowl on your plateA small pot of peach preserves with a tiny silver spoonThese are what transform a stay into an experience Thank you

This hotel was beautiful! It was clean, cozy, and spacious The decor and ambience was warm, welcoming, trendy, and high end I do wish they had a door on the shower instead of the open concept

If someone were to walk in and out or leave the door to the entire bath area open, it would get super chilly Loved the location- we could walk everywhere we wanted to go in about 1-3 minutes Overall amazing hotel and experience We would definitely return!

Amy Budd

The property is beautiful and well maintained My room was large with a huge outdoor entertaining space on the private balcony Turn-down service was so nice to have, and the rooms were immaculate! This was a business visit booked through the Harpeth sales office–Kim was so accommodating to our needs through the reservation process

We ate dinner at 1799 one night and the food was fantastic and the service was wonderful (I recommend asking for Troy and getting him to sing a bit for you) We will definitely be back

Shawn Kinsey

It was my first time staying at this hotel and it sure did impress I reserved via Hilton Honors app and did contactless check in Starting with the valet, things were great

Valet was very kind and made brief conversation and welcomed me The room was very nice Without a doubt it was within the top 5 (of probably hundreds) cleanest rooms I’ve stayed in anywhere I really wanted to go to the restaurant there which has fantastic reviews so I made a reservation a couple weeks prior in anticipation of my arrival to the hotel But I decided against the restaurant and canceled my reservation only because I was traveling by myself and I had attended a full day conference and I was exhausted So as much as I wanted to try the restaurant, I just wanted to rest in my room Later that evening I went down to purchase some drinks and snacks from their little shop near the check in desks, the people downstairs were very nice There was a musician playing acoustic guitar in the lounge area with people sitting around listening It was not disruptive at all, actually quite nice The courtyard area they have there looked very nice and peaceful, a nice area to spend an evening But again I was too tired to experience everything this beautiful hotel had to offer I really look forward to going back to experience more as time allows and when I’m traveling with my family or friends The location seemed nice too, a lovely historic area with plenty to do in walking distance 10/10 Absolutely nothing negative I can say about my visit here I hope the Harpeth continues to work hard to stay on the top of the market in Nashville because many places have lost their beauty and cleanliness over time… the Harpeth will be one of the very very few left demonstrating this level of quality

Gorgeous hotel Very friendly housekeeping Comfortable stay

Took off two stars for two reasons (mainly for the first item):1) they charged me for food I never purchased which means they must not verify details when someone tells them to charge on a certain room number – still working to get resolved since manager was not in, but anything that take extra time to resolve is always frustrating because there isn’t enough time in a day2) shower heads (in two rooms) had water spewing out of the heads from random corners that got the floor all wet

Heather Giddens

Poor service Rude manager named Victoria Doesn’t care about handicap service or well-being

Been trying to work on a resolution but Marriott simply does not care Plus they keep erasing my review Apparently they do not like the truth Maybe you shouldn’t lock the thermostat and tell your handicap guests to get up and move around to cool off so the motion sensors will work Still doesn’t change on how high its set Or that I am handicap

Needed a place to stay for the night on our trip back home I can gladly say it is one of the cleanest hotels I’ve seen in a while Amazing staff and clean rooms

There were a few things out of place in the room, but nothing to gripe over Not everything is going to be 100% perfect in a room that hundreds have stayed in before us Love the area they’ve built this one on too Gas station right out front and plenty of food around to choose from

Annette Pointer

The rooms are spacious and the front desk people were amazing However the rooms smell like smoke, along with the linens The pool room is heated but the pool is not

Breakfast was edible but by the time you take it to the table it was cold Then there is the coffee…that is a no Colored water Unless you use the one in the breakfast room, it is better

antonio pichardo

I had been staying here for almost a month , the room was goodWould be great to have a menu for the breakfast no matter if it have cost, during the pass of the days it turns boring always same thingThe laundry room should accept credit/debit card , sometimes even the person from front desk does not have penny to exchange dollars

This is an outstanding B&B conveniently located in the historic downtown of Franklin, TN Service and friendliness by the Robbi and Jim, the proprietors of over 25 years, exceeded our expectations Breakfasts were tasty and beautiful

Parking is easy, safe and just behind the house We walked downtown and to local attractions We were exceptionally pleased with our two day stay and believe you will be equally pleased if you plan to stay in the area A bonus was meeting other guests and making friends Pricing was competitive, but who cares? This was a great place to stay and no place else in our search came close to our criteria We’ll be back on our next visit to the area

DeAnna Byrd

My daughter and I stayed at the Magnolia House for the weekend We were staying there to do some shopping in downtown Franklin for girls weekend getaway Robbie and her husband were super nice and the breakfast was absolutely amazing and delicious each morning! The Magnolia house was absolutely beautiful our room was also absolutely beautiful clean, cozy, and overall comfortable

It is also close to downtown Franklin so after a full day of shopping it was nice just to drive back to Magnolia house and relax the rest of the evening We’re looking forward to staying there again at our next visit to Franklin, Tennessee!

Alisha Loveless

My husband and I stayed at Magnolia House Bed & Breakfast 10/6/20-10/10/20 with 3 other couples who are friends of ours We absolutely loved the bed & breakfast! Robbie & Jimmy were excellent hosts! We felt like we had the run of the place! Breakfast was delicious each morning, and Robbie made some excellent recommendations of restaurants in the area It was walking distance to food and shops downtown

The gathering room was cozy and was stocked with waters, a coffee bar, and snacks Our husbands enjoyed the rocking chairs on the wrap around porch in the mornings It was a fabulous experience, and we will most certainly book this B&B again!

I read all the reviews before selecting this hotel, having just stayed at Fairfield in Shepardsville Ky, I thought this one would be as great but boy was I WRONG!! Don’t waste your money if you want to get any sleep, rooms are terrible with noise It was like I had the entire floor in my room, save your money, its not worth almost $200/night Hopefully I can crank my noise app high enough to drown out the noise so I can get a little sleep

Very disappointedAfter a long night, per another’s review, the pillow are very flat, almost non- existent My grandson slept on the couch, it was dirty and disgusting, bathroom floor was dirty It does need a deep cleaning

Amanda Monahan

I’m so glad we decided to spend more to stay here The front desk attendants were friendly and helpful The room was very clean and has one of the nicest showers that I’ve ever seen in a hotel

My son enjoyed the poolThe breakfast was by far the best hotel breakfast that we’ve ever had; waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, milk, biscuits & gravy, fresh fruit, and more

Ashley Crager

Not sure where the 4 and 5 star reviews are coming from I based my stay off of the high reviews, but maybe their room was a lot better than mine I was shocked at how dirty my room was especially for the price we paid

The room was in desperate need of deep cleaning and upgrading There were stains all over, photos attached The bed is extremely firm and uncomfortable and the pillows super flat and needing replaced I was pretty irritated we paid so much money a night for a dirty room that where I was nervous to touch things or even lay in the bed The staff were nice though The breakfast was hot, but not that great and nothing really left even half an hour before closing Just overall disappointed, and wish we would’ve stayed at the Holiday Inn right down the road

This is my second stay here I enjoyed the staff and location so much I wanted to come back The front desk staff is always pleasant

The outdoor pool is nice The complimentary breakfast is great but I get the grab bag most of the time My first stay the night attendant drew pictures on every bag How neat Not a complaint I’ll be back

J Brandon

Great location with a fresh feeling hotel, not the old style of Hampton’s I especially liked the equine art in the lobby and hallways I did use the on-site laundry room which had coin operated washers and dryers

The front desk can convert your dollars into quarters for you I didn’t have their complimentary breakfast because I was needing the extra rest The parking lot was well lit at night

David Shantz

I found this to be a good place to stay Easy on and off the freeway It is in a quiet setting

The staff was very friendly and helpfulThe have a nice hot breakfastIf you want the room changed out you need to ask it is not automaticI would stay and I plan to, again

Room was not fully cleaned Black hairs on floor in alot of places Also, the one thing that was very aggravating was the a/c did not cool the room down until about 430 in the morning

During the day it wouldn’t get below 71 and at night the lowest it got was 67 and it did not feel like 67 It was hot all night Told the front desk and just said well look at it No sympathy at all And to top it all off we were charged twice for the room He said it will be fixed and admitted they messed up Still no offer to correct the bad visitBob, you are incorrect Auto Is the fan speed I set it to high that way the fan would not kick down into low because it was so hot

Rebecca

Cleaning staff needs to do better but Luke the front desk guy deserves a raise because he is what a employee should be modeled after He was super friendly and went above what his job was to come clean the 2nd room we were moved to He done everything he could to make our 2nd stay at this hotel better

He is the reason I’m giving 4stars The area feels safe, we even had a car top carrier that was not bothered Parking lot and spaces are small but there is extra well lit parking in the adjoining hotel lot that they said we could use Our stay the 1st time we had 2 rooms and both were clean enough and comfortable so on our way back through the area we chose this place over another brand of hotels we like, just to be disappointed on the cleanliness this time The 1st room had ants and not like 1 or 2 but enough that I killed them would turn around and there were more So Luke moved us to another room and unfortunately cleaning staff had left it dirty(pee on the seat, white dried liquid on the kitchenette floor, stuff splattered on the desk etc) Thankfully Luke came and cleaned our room and discounted it We would have checked out and went to another hotel if it wasn’t for the fact we had been traveling all day with a 2 month old and had picked up food to eat on our way to the hotel(& we were exhausted), Luke being great at his job and the fact I travel with disinfectant spray and Clorox wipes I would recommend this hotel for the area feeling safer, the front desk staff, room size and convinces, comfortable beds, cleanliness our 1st stay and I’m picky, but the cleaning staff needs to be more consistent Forgot to add that they are pet friendly(with extra fee) which is great!

(Stayed May 6-7) This is a very very beautiful hotel and property The inside smelt really good on arrival front desk worker morning and afternoon were amazing Room keys did not work when we first arrived but the did fix it

The room has very high ceilings and comfortable beds Bathroom has a heat lamp and that was so amazing Bathroom could use some renovations but you know it was still good Pool is closed and the fitness/meetings centers are locked The breakfast was very good with lots of great options (my favorite is the pancake machine) Overall, I give this hotel an amazing 5 stars

Solomon Bachman

Overall the hotel is well situated and seems to be in a good area I like staying in older hotels because they tend to have better room layouts and thicker walls and this Best Western is no exception Unfortunately I feel the room lacked maintenance

It was obviously a well appointed room and it had decent furniture, and the most comfortable hotel mattress I’ve slept on in years! However the tub was dirty when I entered the room, there were several hairs in the tub along with dirt around the drain There was some mildew where the insert met the floor and the wall as well The baseboards throughout the room were dusty and dirty and the walls were somewhat dingyAlso, as an aside, the continental breakfast was the grossest thing I have ever put in my mouth I got biscuits, gravy, and a sausage patty and it was tasteless with the mouth feel of cardboard

Courtenay Strickland

This hotel was a great surprise! Nice and comfortable and clean, and with an amazing breakfast! My boyfriend and I ended up at this hotel by accident we used the app Hopper (an Expedia app – I do NOT recommend it) to book a hotel for one night just outside Nashville When we got to the place where we thought we had a room booked, it was full – the app was selling rooms that didn’t exist

After two hours, we were re-booked at this Best Western in Spring Hill At first, I was bummed we had to drive further out of town but then it turned out that this hotel was a very, very nice place to stay We arrived after 3 am and were given a very big suite Old, 80s styling, but the best of all that a huge jacuzzi tub, French doors, windows that went down to the floor almost, a King bed in a giant room Everything was functional and clean and pleasant I set an alarm to get to the free breakfast before it ended at 9 am and was again pleasantly surprised – eggs, French toast sticks, biscuits, gravy, sausage plus all the usual pastries, cereal, etc It was delish! The hotel also accommodated us with a very late check-out since they knew we were exhausted by having arrived so late the night before (Hopper’s fault!) The staff of this Best Western were wonderful at every turn I would very much recommend this place

This was the best Holiday Inn Express I’ve ever stayed at Clean and convenient to so many wonderful places The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming

Especially Jennifer who took several of my calls before I arrived I needed joining rooms and to combine 2 reservations so we wouldn’t have to switch rooms She took care of everything and didn’t make me feel bad about being high maintenance I will definitely be returning

Flo Voyager

Nice, helpful staff Walked in late in the day, without a reservation, and got a nice, clean, quiet room LOVE the walk in shower

Cost double what the little box on Google maps said (that must be for their cheapest room, before taxes), but still less than what we usually pay Good complimentary coffee and breakfast next morning Would definitely stay here again

JJ Ray

Stayed here for a convention a few mules away This is a perfect location with a grocery store across the way, and different stores and restaurants within walking distance The rooms are clean, the pool and gym were very quiet and well equipped! Overall the hotel was great We stopped for night on our way home from vacation The rooms are newly remodeled and are nice

There is plenty of lighting including reading lights of both sides of the bed and plenty of outlets The continental hot breakfast is one like any hotel They were an attendant that was helpful with questions or continuing to refill items We were told we had a room with 2 queen beds but they were definitely w double beds Not a big deal for us but not what we expected Also, the hotel doors are on the exterior of the building

Nils Hünerfürst

The Best Western Franklin Inn is a very special Hotel with a motel style And let’s start with the most important part and that will be the rooms My Room was super clean and very modern

The bed was super comfortable and no smells at all The lock on my door run out of battery but they fixed it in less than 12 hours Thanks! Why only 4 stars? Because of the breakfast They have a lot to offer but besides of Apples nothing is really healthy

Alex Maxa

Don’t judge a book by its cover, or a hotel by its exterior This place doesn’t look like any other Best Western I’ve ever seen, and I’m guessing it didn’t start out as one The Franklin Inn is really four separate two story motels, three joined by breezeways and one off on its own

The office / business center / breakfast room is also detached Room doors are on the outsides of the buildings, under awningsNone of this looks particularly promising, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of my room Everything was new and clean The appliances were modern and there were plenty of lighting options The bathroom fixtures were outstanding, some of the best I have seen anywhere The housekeeping staff was very kind and helpful, providing fresh towels midway through my stay There was hardly any noise from neighbors or traffic, so I slept wellA few things could have been better WiFi was very weak in my room, though strong elsewhere on the premises While the hotel offers a free continental breakfast, it was pretty mediocre on the days that I was there, and the food was not good for my digestion Also, the laundry room had some issues The machines were pretty beat up and dirty, and one of the two washing machines ate three of my quarters before jamming and refusing to give them back (wash and dry cost $300 in quarters each)I did get to use the pool before I left It was small and basic, but provided a satisfying swim Recommend going in the evening once the direct sun is off it

Very disappointed as I expect Holiday Inn Express to be a reliable brand Room was a clean and nice but the blinds were broken / unusable Issues with cable and remote

Was told there had been a recent provider change Was not provided a a replacement Hot breakfast was good Juice machine, pancake maker and one side of toaster was broken Carpet in stairwells smelled like an old locker room With three 2 1/2 star hotels within a 5 minute walking distance, would not recommend staying at this hotel

Multi Purpose Dan LLC

I got to the hotel, and the front desk staff was on the phone as I walked in So, I walked over to get a cup of coffee in the lobby There were 2 coffee pots, and both of them were empty

So, I walked back to the front desk to book a room The staff member was no longer at the desk I stood there for a few minutes, waiting Seems as if they like to hang out in the back Overall, the hotel looked nice But as soon as I opened my room door I could smell mold I took a look at the HVAC unit to look at the filters and found that they were very dirty So, I cleaned them in the shower It didn’t really seem to do much good, so I pulled the cover off the unit Well There was the mold Photos are uploaded in this post I’m only here for one night , so I will deal with it All I can say is great job done head house keeper, and generally manager

Lina Landivar

They carry on with Holiday Inn Exp standards, but you can see it was some sort of old hotel redone as a new IHG brand And there are a lot of details on the room and bathroom that still looks run down, like paint, tub, shower, and smell For a quick overnight, it work well

They were good on keeping the IHG Exp standards on the rest of the areas Breakfast was good

We are in this hotel several times a year The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable about the place as well as the hotel Most of them know most of us by name

It’s like going home I would recommend this place to everyone!!! We are always happy to be here It makes the meetings seem more like just a small vacation They even have kickback in the afternoons with a wide variety of munchies as well as 2 cocktails for the adults that want to wind down The breakfast is also a good way to start your day with eggs, sausage, biscuits n gravy, oatmeal, waffle bar and more

Awesome place to stay The rooms were spacious and clean The elevators are pretty fast as well with minimal wait time

All the hotel staff that we encountered were friendly The hot breakfast and afternoon “snack” were delicious The second time we went to the pool they were out of towels so we picked up the phone in the pool room and within minutes they were bringing fresh towels Will definitely stay there again

Nice Drury, good location right off 65 Recently renovated so carpets and furniture are newer Friendly staff

However, when they renovated should’ve purchased new bedding Pillows are worn, sheets had stains had to request replacements Seems odd when other amenities were refreshed Generous kickback nightly with drinks and good Good breakfast Nice stay outside of Nashville

My bed at the Hampton Inn, in Columbia TN, was so comfortable after a long cross-country flight and a most confusing and frustrating experience at the Nashville airport currently under construction and horribly managed, but that’s another reviewCheck-in was seamless, the front desk was professional and courteousIt was the next morning when I stumbled down to get a cup of coffee in the restaurant

I was amazed at the breakfast selection available to me I could choose from waffles, (real) eggs, sausage, home fries, bread, juice, pastries, and assorted coffees with real half n half I asked Toye, working the foodservice, “Where do I pay for my selections?” She looked at me and said with a big smile, “Sir, this is all included in your stay I said you’re kidding! “Yes, she said, you are staying in a Hilton” “Hilton, I asked? I must be in heaven” It was that well done What a wonderful experienceWe were three days in the hotel We rendezvoused with family there from St Louis, New York, New Mexico, and Washington We all commented on what an excellent hotel and experience it wasAnd the front desk was so gracious to let us all visit one another late into the night in the lobby/breakfast areaThis is a very well staffed and managed operation I highly recommend themSteve C
