Me and my boyfriend spent Valentines Day here, and the hotel service and property exceeded our expectations The hotel is spotless, and the staff were amazing Has a indoor self parking garage, that was heated and you can enter the hotel easily and take the elevator to check in

I unfortunately booked a room without a balcony and didn’t realize, they upgraded me free of charge The Living Room restaurant is perfect for quick bite to eat and the drinks are Amazing The room is beautiful, perfectly decorated and clean The linens were so soft and I love the space, easily can entertain a family without feeling overcrowded Perfect place to get away for a weekend I will surely be back, and would recommend anyone to go here We didn’t get a chance to use the pool or jacuzzi we came a little too late, but definitely will when we return

This place is great Complimentary valet, someone is always there if you need something, the food is great The room was huge, and really nicely maintained

You also couldn’t hear any other guests in their room (top or neighboring) and the hotel was sold out My family of 4 enjoyed the accommodations and everything it had to offer My only complaint is that we had a very intimate view of the AC unit for the hotel We couldn’t see anything other than that and for $400 a night, that’s not what I want to be looking at Would absolutely stay again, but would request a room with an unobstructed view

We stayed 1 week from Thursday to Wednesday over Easter We booked a 2 bedrooms with king beds, for 2 adults and 2 kidsPrice is ok as I guess everything is a bit more expensive around Easter Sunday

The room price increased from 299 to 459 just for the Friday and Saturday, it seems a bit excessiveRoom was large, cleanness could be better but I will come back on that topicOur room was not ready at 4pm We had to wait until 5:20pm Do not get all your stuff from your car until they confirm room is readyWe ate at the restaurant on our first night The food was really good and we wanted to come back on our last night but they are closed Monday and Tuesday unfortunatelyWe cooked dinner the other nights and there is minimum equipment but it was sufficient Only expect to cook simple dinner and to use the dishwasher every night as there would not be enough dishes for the next morningHotel had multiple wedding in a row so it was packed of guest coming for 1 night max and it creates massive amount of work for the cleaning staff and now I understand better why our room was not ready on timeI saw cleaning staff exhausted by the afternoon and noticed rooms left in terrible state by guestI really believe staff do their best under the circumstancesOur room was at the very end of the 3rd floor (top floor) which is a perk as it is much more quiet Otherwise expect to hear your neighbor and all the kids running in the hallwayI will conclude my review with the pool The size is not adapted to the hotel capacity It could be easily double the size For me it was a huge disappointment and seriously dangerous There is no supervision so you see kids and teenagers diving from everywhere and in the middle of people Expect to be kicked under the water, and to be splashed We ended up going only when not crowded which was super rare

I popped in for a quick overnight The hotel pricing (double queen) on a Sunday night was very affordable The hotel itself is a bit older, but recent upgrades keep amenities modern

You can tell from the carpet in the hallways and wear spots on doors, yet the bathrooms in the rooms are much newerThe rooms and beds were comfortable The hotel is away/offset from any major roads, so the stay was quiet from any outside disturbancesThe breakfast fare (as identified in other reviews) is average for $17/person: the “hot” food in the buffet was warm; the fruit was fresh crisp; the breads and muffins were freshAll of this was packaged in the standard DoubleTree charm, including helpful staff and the signature cookies

peanutavalon

Pretty good First impression was finding a hair in the mini fridge and the sink Not that big of a deal

Room was fine for my wife and two sons The following day we experienced an unruly mob of guests running through the hallways, smoking weed in the stairwell, pulling fire alarms and using fire extinguishers for fun Fire alarm went off in the entire hotel and had to evacuate for at least an hour Very inconvenient and inconsiderate to all guests Thankfully they were kicked out and hopefully will never returnThe staff was very friendly upon arriving The restaurant was also very nice to have on the premises Great food and staff

Quiana Jackson

Room was about $200 which I didn’t mind spending for my 2 kids because I was told breakfast was included and they had a pool! Got to the room and there is no microwave in the so called suite to warm food up The separate room was so little it looks like a bed inside a closet! The pull out sofa bed was not made and had a balled up sheet inside of it! The pool area has bugs! Many bugs! There were no towels available in the pool area in the afternoon/evening when the kids wanted to swim or the next morning! Had to bring the towels from the room! Took the kids to the breakfast area and was stopped and advised that breakfast wasn’t included and I needed to pay an additional $1999 per person including for the kids! Went to the desk where I advised that I was told on more than one occasion that breakfast was included with my price , but was basically told it didn’t matter and that I wasn’t a gold member to get the breakfast! I felt as though I was brushed off

I WILL NEVER COME TO THIS HOTEL AGAIN? What did I pay $200 for? A little room! I will make sure to let my friends and family know to NEVER stay at double tree!

This resort is absolutely amazing! The room, the view, the food, the location, and the staff are ALL outstanding A serious highlight to this resort is the staff! They are top notch, so helpful, professional, and attentiveWe reserved a corner suite with ocean views, it was fantastic! Spacious, comfortable, and luxurious! The bed was perfect and the shower was large, clean, and very modern

I highly recommend booking a stay at this lovely resort, I wish we could’ve stayed much longer!!

Victoria DelCasino

I booked this hotel for myself and a friend to celebrate her 50th and I Highly recommend it Very clean, updated modern decor, great bedding, and AMAZING views from the oceanfront room The staff was professional, efficient, kind and very welcoming

The front desk manager Patrick Muir went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and then some The addition of a note and chocolates in the room for my friend was a wonderful extra The cafe downstairs that’s open very early for coffee and muffins was so convenient, and lunch at the Catina that’s also attached was delicious! There’s a whole pool area with views of the beach very cool, and there’s separate beach area for only hotel guests is set up with chairs and umbrellas that was awesome This has now become our go to at the Jersey shore

Janie Schmidt

Great location, great service, good for families This is the second time we have stayed here and really enjoyed ourselves Only a few suggestions: Please replace the balcony furniture, it is very rusted

Also, some of the furniture is very stained in the lobby and the sofa in the rooms I wish guests had free access to the ice machine That would be much more convenient than asking for ice to be delivered It’s a great destination for a shore vacation and we plan on returning!

The room were decent Clean But the hotel is old

Housekeeping barely came to clean the room at all Didn’t replace towels or anything I literally had to put the trash outside the door so that Housekeeping can empty it! I shouldn’t have to call front desk and say where’s housekeeping The elevator going to my floor was broken and rusted which is a violation I didnt really go to the pool or gym because it was closed lol It wasn’t great but a decent place to stay only for a couple days I’ve seen better hotels with decent prices because this hotel is expensive for nothing Nothing in that hotel is worth paying so much money for

Zena G

Hey, my stay was the best I especially liked the way i was treated by the staff Mr Cruz was very accomodating and informative

I will say that Mr Cruz is well trained and knows how to deal with people I was greeted with respect, patience, and mainly he made me feel like i was at a home away from home Thanks Mr Cruz

Alicia Peterson

The “courtyard” in the middle would have been nice, but the fire pit was broken The pool was out of service And at 11pm on a weekend, there was no place for a wedding party to hang out

Go outside and the front desk guy followed the father of the bride and yelled at him that he couldn’t go there The boys had to stand outside the front door to smoke a celebratory cigar Oh, and I had ants on my room We were only in the room to change and sleep No food Just bottled waters No excuse I love the franchise, not so much this location To many little issues that added up And that’s just for me, others in this large parties had some serious issues

Upon arriving I was upgraded from the original room I booked online to a suite, which was really lovely My family and I stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed a little gambling, a lot of outlet shopping and a magic show The food was disappointing, not flavorful or well seasoned, and way overpriced

I did like the fact that they had a 24hr convenience store-like place to grab some snacks Overall, I enjoyed my stay Would recommend checking in online or using the kiosk station at the front desk

Lara Gomez

The room was clearly not cleaned properly, we found the former guests clothing in the top drawer! The room on the website says newly renovated It was definitely not That being said, the price was reasonable and we weren’t in the room long

I bought wipes and simply wiped the surfaces I would definitely give Harrah’s another try because I do enjoy the restaurants, casino and their pool party! I had a previous stay here in a much better room so I would simply make it a point to ensure that I had a room that was newer

David G

Just all around disappointing Let’s start with the good Nice room, comfortable and clean , nice bedding

Fantastic two person deep bathtub – perfect for a couple! Housekeeping clearly cares about their work and they do a great job The seafood and steakhouse was fantastic a little overpriced but worth it Now for the bad 1 Pool in the pictures is not free its $20 a day Also only open until 5 (the after dark pictures is only Friday and Saturday nights) Not easy to find that info – so the website is misleading Pool cocktails are $20? Now for the terrible- They had no towels! Also, that day the elevators were down (we were told they had a fire alarm) then we were told that we had to go outside to get to a utility stairwell, wet, in 17 degree windy winter weather We asked for a towel – they said they were too busy to help – even though there was no one at the desk at the time Hopefully it’s not like that every day but we checked out and went somewhere else the next day

I stayed at this Sheraton during the July 4th weekend to attend a family weddingThis is a beautiful hotel with a huge facility, huge rooms and a lot of banquet halls All the halls were occupied and looks like every party was having a great time in this hotel

This hotel also has 2 swimming pools- indoor and outdoor pools which guests were taking advantage of, that’s good to seeThe front desk and housekeeping staff were courteous and professionalI had family and friends staying in all the floors of the hotel The reason for two stars in this review is because one of the handicap rooms on the first floor (the last room next to the exit door) had small bugs in the bathroom and on the floor of the bedroom This was highly unlikely for such a Grand hotel The issue was raised with the front desk and housekeeping came to review the issue but the bugs were back the next day in the bathroom I’m not sure if this was because the room was on the ground floor and right outside there were shrubs and plants There might be some insulation issue in that room that led to the bugs from outsideOverall I had a good experience at this hotel and I heard the same positive response from all the other family and friends that stayed in this hotel during the long weekend except that one room

Nicole Yeh

I attended only for my senior formal, so I did not stay overnight Wonderful service from attentive staff who answered all my questions and served us Loved the food, we had everything from crab cakes to burgers to cannolis

The inside is clean and safe, there’s an ATM, and of course the outside looks stunning, along with plenty of parking There’s also a small lake in the back with bridges where you can walk a loop There’s even a souvenir shop past the lounge I believe there are other restaurants and such down the street and it’s convenient to get on route 80 and 287 quickly

Brok V.

This hotel needs a full revamp, it’s in rough shape The halls and elevators are not air conditioned so they are a steamy 100 degrees The entire place smells funky – there are air fresheners all over the place to mask the smells

The shower in my room was jerry rigged together so when i tried to raise the shower head up past my shoulders, water came spraying out of the pipes The AC in my room sounded like a diesel engine Will never return

Always a great place to stay during my trip to the big Apple! The staffs are extremely friendly and helpful Always trying to make sure our needs are met The front desk is always going above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and appreciated

Minus one star for the cleanliness of the rooms (not very consistent), but everything else is great!

Shereen

Service was awful (or racist) When I arrived I pulled into valet and was told to park across the street in the garage I told the attendant I don’t want my car in a garage its a brand new MB, I would like it valeted

He proceeded to tell me it’s cheaper, which it was not the sign said $50 for the garage and $45 for valet (it was The Fourth of July)I proceed to the front desk to check in and I would like to change the card on file I was asked “if I have enough money on my card” before switching cards how insulting!! I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t be staying “if there wasn’t enough money on my card”My husband and I decide to bike on the Hudson then dine on the patio for lunch where the two host did not greet us but gave the nastiest look at me from my feet up to my head! After being seated my husband asked the gentleman was there an issue and he said “oh my friend wasn’t supposed to be at the host stand so we were just making a joke for him to go back to work” I lost my appetite after the third strike and left the restaurantI only stayed one night to enjoy the fireworks with my husband and endured all this chaos on americas holiday I guess I received the true American experience The only reason I’m giving this hotel 2 stars is because of the cleanliness of the room and the location

Haydynn Fike

I was stopping in to use the living room as I have stayed at some W properties before and I was just looking to get some coffee and do some work They were filming a movie at the restaurant and coffee wasn’t available Joanne was at the front desk, and she offered to get me a cup of coffee and wouldn’t let me pay for it

As someone who also works for Marriott, we can use more like her Thanks Joanna! Can’t wait to stay the night at your property

Absolutely wonderful hotel! The staff was fantastic and friendly! The grounds around the hotel are gorgeous! Plenty of space to roam around outside, located in a nice area too! I enjoyed my room plenty, and the pool looked nice I would recommend staying here, and I’ll probably stay here again too! Very short distance to the BMW training facilities!

Aimee Shannon

The grounds are lovely That’s the extent of my positive comments Room was dirty, like clumps of hair and nastiness dirty

There was mold in the shower Only a few of the lights worked, despite messing with all the various configurations The hairdryer was stuck on cold Not nearly enough towels, especially considering if your stay is under 3 days, you don’t get maid service or any fresh amenities The bathroom light didn’t work The shower had a slant for drainage, but the floor was slippery and there wasn’t adequate safety handlesWorst of all, it is a long walk from the parking lot to the 2 elevators for the entire hotel, and from there it is a long walk to the rooms So not handicapped friendly, at allWould absolutely never recommend

Amy Thanasides

We booked a room on 5/21/22 for 2 nights This hotel is local for us and we have stayed here before To say that the quality and cleanliness has gone down hill would be an understatement

Dead plants at the indoor pool No clean towels The indoor pool was another level of loud and hot It utterly disgusting, but having my kids with me who were desperate to swim I allowed them to go in My skin was crawling The main reason I booked the room was because when I called I was told the outdoor pool was open for the season then when I get there I’m told that I was given the wrong the information Completely disappointed my kids The hotel was completely booked and crowded The room was dingy with stained carpet and stained sink We didn’t even stay We canceled our room by 6 So we checked in at 3:30 and left by 6:30 They want to charge me $230 for that I can’t get Hotelscom to give me a refund and I can’t get anyone on the phone at the hotel to speak with me It’s always the manager isn’t in or available Absolutely ridiculous Never again As for the response from management stating that they can’t refund from third party websites well that’s interesting since I have an email from hotelscom stating that they reached out to you to get the refund and you declined to approve it So each company is just going to blame the other and I’m out the money for services not rendered

First impression is a good one Clean, bit of an odd layout for a hotel , but very friendly staff We booked on line very easily

We stayed two nights Had breakfast one morning There’s a buffet on Sunday morning for $16 a person However we decided to order fresh off the breakfast menu & were very pleased They did a great job with my special order of an egg white mushroom & cheese omelette cooked well Delicious!Only two disappointments: one was the pool being in disrepair That was one of the reasons we booked there I hope it’s repaired soonThe other was my husband had called the front desk with a question and no one answered the phoneBottom line, I really did like the modern interior design It’s a less expensive, good , clean , quiet place to sleep if you’re traveling in the area or going in and out of NYC

S Prosper

I liked it there Very easy to find off the highway The receptionist was efficient and helpful

I got to my room and it was clean and what I expected I didn’t hear any noise while sleeping, everything worked Even the cleaning staff was helpful I overall enjoyed my stay there I even asked for the receptionist to print my covid test for me and she was happy to help Will be back

Abigail Prichett

I had mixed feelings about this hotel There were strange sticky spots on the floor (I do not want to ponder what they could have been) The room was nice, newly renovated

You could tell they definitely cut corners and some things were barely hanging onto the walls The location wasn’t great, I mean it’s conveniently located off route 17 but I didn’t really feel safe going to and from my car At one point during our stay, there were a bunch of cop cars pulled up in front of the building Everything just felt a little sketchy But definitely not the worst hotel I’ve stayed in

I really don’t like to write reviews But I was really disappointed by this hotel It didn’t feel like even a 2 star hotel

The refrigerator kept freezing all my kids snacks and vegetables and the lady at the front desk said she will send somebody to fix it But nothing changed We always stay at Hilton hotels but this time it’s different The first night, we all woke up because of all the screams and fights between 2 girls??!! Weird!! I told the lady on the front desk and she said she will address it to the manager but it looks there is no manager The room service is not the best, I called them the third day , or they are lazy or they don’t know what they are doing They didn’t vacuum the carpet because I can still see all the crumbs They didn’t clean the bathroom sink, they only put the toilet paper holder on it empty!!!!And the Kleenex box empty!!!!I had to call the front desk and ask them for towels, for tissues, for toilet paper, for shampoo…… The air condition vent had candy crumbs on it that my 7 year old showed me I told her leave it open so they can clean it But they only closed it and left all the candy crumbs there? The room is really mediocre for this price we paid The entrance to the hotel is hard to find The good thing, it is close to the bus that take you to NY CITY But I will never go back there Really disappointed ☹️

Dr. Kelli Hiller

Let me begin with the staff was wonderful at the front desk -giving an upgrade and helping us—but we could not complete our stay at this hotel Our first room smelled so badly of old cigarette smoke we went back to desk to change rooms The second room had dirt and crumbs all over the carpet, the bathroom was not cleaned and it also smelled of smoke

The lobby is nice but goodness do those rooms need an update and cleaning! We decided to spend 7 hours on the road home rather than stay here

The staff at the front desk was nice and very friendly, my reason for giving it a 3 was first my tv kept freezing and losing signal a lot, I tried not to complain to much because we was gone during the day Second I tried to wash my hands in the bathroom just to realize the box they placed on the sink for hand soap was completely empty as if it’s just there for decorations, third housekeeping knocked on my door the second day there I told her we didn’t need her to come in and clean but I asked if I could have two towels off her cart she only gave me one and told me not to tell so I was confused as to rather or not if we are only suppose to use towels that are already in room, it would be nice if the basic breakfast was included of course for the amount we paid to stay so we only ate breakfast here once, the hot tub was dirty it look like little ants in the hot tub Lastly I get it this place does allow pets but they should not be allowed in the swim area we went down the other day and there was a dog in the swim area with a family luckily my daughter not scared of dogs and this dog just so happens to be nice however you never know when a kid can come in and get scared seeing a dog and start to run and panic and a wet area so not a good idea but besides those things front desk staff was nice and I came into a clean room

Nice clean spacious rooms in a great location, the gym is well equipped as well There wasn’t a microwave, or fridge in the rooms which is a negative but doable seeing as the hotel also has a stocked bar that serves great food The reason for the 3 star review is a private event rented out the bar and kicked all paying hotel guests out, highly inconvenient and will affect my choices and recommendation in the future

Update: The bartender’s servers and other employees that I had the pleasure of interacting with deserve 5 stars, they are amazing people that are doing a fantastic job (even the bartender that said we could not be served because of the private event, he was fantastic the following night no hard feelings he was just doing what he was told) The place in general is 4 stars The rating is strictly off of general upkeep, there are a few blemishes that could use some professional touches to ensure the maintenance personnel are able to keep up a 5 star appearance

Great location… an easy commute to the city I like being outside of the hustle and bustle, noise, crime, and grit of NYC The hotel itself isa five minute walk to the train

The room are spacious and clean Whenever I call for service, they send someone right away Friday & Saturday night jazz in the cafe is an outstanding bonus I am very happy I chose this place

Stay away from this hotel This rooms were dirty, bathrooms were not clean, furniture was old and dinged Service was horrible

We got in at 11 am at night and there were 2 couples before us waiting for their room They were told that they couldn’t find their reservation Those poor people showed them that they booked thru Hilton Instead of talking to these people and apologizing that they double booked, the front desk called cops Long story short, same thing happened to us They couldn’t find our reservation and had double booked and gave our rooms to someone else, even though we are Hilton honor members and booked through Hilton website After an hour and a half, they gave us a room with a King ( we had reserved a queen- 2 adults and 2 kids) The room was dirty The floor was not clean Front desk had to go down and get us towels The bathroom was dirty as well and there was a half used shower gel left in the shower stallWe could not sleep at all as this room faced the garage and had unloading loading noises all throughout the night and early morning After talking to the front desk, they finally shifted to a room with two queens and gave us free breakfast, the next day which was niceThe room that they switched us to was clean but of course the furniture was old and had scratches and dings on it The front desk manager was nice told us that we wont be charged for that night as a courtesy and she apologized However, they charged us for NO SHOW for the first nightThis hotel has lot of problems Younger lady at front desk was very rude did not apologize They have horrible serviceIf they are negative ratings, I would give them a negative 10 Do yourself a favor and do not stay at this hotel The only good thing about this hotel was eclectic decor

Stayed in the Princeton Marriott for two nights in December It’s our ‘go to’ stop for trips up and down the east coast Isolated and quiet, great sleep quality

Very close to a major college town and the great restaurants and other attractions that come with that We enjoy their bar and restaurant While the menu is not that large, the food was well prepared and delicious Enthusiastically recommended!

This hotel and location are great for my business trips Please, please, please add more bikes to the fitness area There are 4 treadmills, 3 ellipticals and only 1 bike and 1 recumbent bike

Every morning there was at most 1 person on a treadmill and elliptical and multiple people waiting to use the bike Please also consider adding a bike from one of the more popular companies like Echelon The bike will not go to waste

Richard Urquhart

A quiet Marriott with plenty of easy parking Disappointed at a lack of upgrade as a gold elite member despite the hotel being quiet The room service crew did a good job but we’re very loud chatting from very early in the morning

Did not help with the jet lag A bit remote so you will need a car or uber to get to any other options to eat

The conveniences of an Air BnB, but the service of a hotel! This is the perfect hotel for a family vacationMy husband, toddler, and I just got back for 4 days at the Sandpiper and we couldn’t have been happier with our selection The rooms are nicely appointed, with fully functional and equipped kitchens

I was so impressed with that the kitchens had pots, pans, cooking utensils, plates, drink wear, and even came stocked with coffee, dishwasher pods, soap, and paper towels It felt like having a beautiful beachfront condo, without having to do the cleaning! We will certainly be back My only suggestions to Management would be: 1) PLEASE get blackout curtains for the bedrooms The sunlight is bright and it’s hard to kids to sleep in a bright room And 2) I noticed our TVs had full cable I don’t really think this is necessary in 2022 (it’s probably costly for the hotel!), and would have preferred access to streaming services (Netflix, Hulu, etc) I can’t wait to plan another visit!

Probably our favorite hotel so far in Cape May! Clean room with everything you could ever need Great location Love the private balconies

Best gym in Cape May! Love that you can charge Brown Room and Blue Pig to your room for a quick bill Only complaint was that the railing height on the balcony was at eye level while sitting on the rocking chairs and you couldn’t really see the ocean 🙂 Perhaps higher chairs?

Kyle Dunlap

Really enjoyed our stay at the Sandpiper and will definitely be back Easy to book and staff was attentive leading up to our stay and during the stay…really like the texting service to address questions and needs before and during our stay Condo was a good size; corner balcony was a little tight on space, but still great to have

Access to beach couldn’t be easier in Cape May and the beach chairs/umbrella service was nice to have as well Very convenient location—walk to nearly anything and right next door to Congress Hall to take advantage of spa and bike rental services

The thermostat wasn’t working when I got into my room and the room wasn’t ready for my check in time The black out curtains didn’t close all the way and the amenities room (laundry room, deck eating) are not connected to the digital key, which made me need to obtain a plastic key as well The response to needing assistance was the quickest I have had and my issues were addressed with speed and friendly staff

Staff has offered intimate and detailed information on which bus routes to use to get where and the easiest way to do the little things as well as some fun tourist options that were meaningful to them The top floor has a nice view, if very distant, of Manhattan and it doesn’t have the building cluster of the inner city Nice happy medium Staying on the top floor at the end give the best view for price The bar is very small but they had a snack, soup and salad, and cheese platter section available to go with the hotel bar’s 5pm-10pm service time Overall, I would say it’s a decent bang for your buck if you don’t want to be in the thick of it The business center on the main floor has lots of open spaces and plenty of comfortable looking chairs to lounge in The gym is rather small, but it does have a decent selection of equipment

Brenda Warren

Our stay here was excellent Our room was decent It was clean, they are on the small side and the bathrooms should have vents but other than that it was excellent

The staff was courteous, professional and efficient The breakfast options were varied and the coffee was good The breakfast eating areas were very nice The parking was convenient Because we were staying more than five days we did not have to pay $15 per day parking fee The hotel is right at the highway exit which was great Will definitely stay here again

We stay at this Hampton Inn many times since we have family in the area We haven’t stayed there in almost 2 years because of Covid Wow how it has changed we arrived around 6PM there were 3 people at front desk and 4 families waiting to check in Only one waiting on customers

We waited 10 minutes and checked in ready to go park our car when the employee told us about a $1500 per night parking fee No mention of that on the website I booked on He told us we could park across the highway at the Hilton It was dark and 25 degrees outside we paid the fee Staff needs to work on customer service Hotel and rooms were very clean and modern Went to go to the pool and was told they don’t supply towels We had to use our bath towels Needless to say I am not paying 15000 a night and have to pay $1500 a night to park and no extra towels for the pool One bright spot was a great free breakfast buffet with very friendly staff keeping everything full

The only redeeming quality is the front desk staff We had a reservation for a King; that didn’t happen Was told: “we will put you right by the ice machine” (out of order)

Room was never “cleaned”; had to go down to the desk for clean linens I defy anyone to describe the water temperature as “warm” Hot water is not in the discussion…”not cold” is the best description The only thing complimentary is water at the front desk

I stayed for a wedding I was in just two weekends ago the wedding was a Saturday and I stayed the Friday before because I was UNABLE to stay the night of the wedding First, the room I booked was not next to the bride in which is was supposed to be and it was clarified when I got To the hotel for check in as I was assured it was the same floor and next to the room

I ended up being on a total separate floor The brides father went down without my knowledge and made sure they changed my room so they ended up doing so…The day of the wedding around 930-10 I brought all of my things to my car and got ready in the bridal suite Hair makeup and all Room card placed on the counter for checkout Busy wedding day it was clearly The night went on and I was downstairs from 2-10:15 pm for photos then the actual wedding I left the hotel to go home with my child I DID not stay a second night yet I was charged as I did I nicely reached out to the hotel management and was basically told, well you may not have stayed but someone must have the room key was “apparently” used well after midnight!? Ok well again, wasn’t me!! The service is horrendous and they should have given me my money back but they did not instead they said well we did you a favor and will refund you 50 percent off… umm? No… my money should have been fully refunded back to my accountI will never stay here again needless to say! Unreal and not good customer service skills here You guys should actually be ashamed!Don’t stay if you don’t have to people Trust me

We had such a wonderful stay here this past weekend The hotel – lobby, market, and rooms – is beautiful and the staff is so lovely Doug helped me when I checked in

My card wasn’t working so he instructed me on how to do an online authorization so we could make it work He was so polite and patient with the fact that I was making check in more complicated And the whole while I enjoyed chatting with him and the other front desk staff He was pleasant each time we had to stop by the desk to get parking validated The staff at the bar and the coffee shop/market were also incredibly friendly The whole time I just felt like we were staying with friends Everything about it was just great I will absolutely stay here again

C

Stayed here for a wedding Overall wonderful experience! The staff were great The rooms were very clean and had awesome amenities

My experience would have been better if there was a full restaurant, room service, and breakfast was served for a bit longer If it wasn’t for the wedding close by I may not have stayed at this hotel because it’s quite pricey, but it was a great stay and well worth it

I always have a great time at Tropicana It’s always clean Despite the pandemic, it was a nice crowd

The new room reservations were nice They have a nice selection of eateries and restaurants It was nice to see everyone cleaning on the casino floor My only issue was with the party next door making a lot of noise at 3:30am but the hotel was very accommodating I will definitely be back to visit

kam kohli

The stay itself was great Location is awesome, right on boardwalk and 24 hrs casino and food service with bar Express Check-in and check-out process was fabulous, you don’t have to wait for anyone and they charge a minimum amount of parking for the whole stay (super cool)

The only thing which I didn’t like was the bed (mattress), very uncomfortablecouldn’t able to sleep Hotel needs to fix the bedding system (bed and pillows) Rest all was Fab 🙂 100% recommended

Adam Schupak

Overall, for Atlantic City standards, this hotel is pretty good Clean, soft beds, and nice views (If you’re in the west tower and on floor 38 or higher)! The shower in our room didn’t have hot water The hottest the water got was lukewarm, and to get the faucet in the bathroom to run, we had to pull very hard on it to flow

Besides the rooms (which smelled nice), most of the hotel, and casino on the bottom floor, smelled overwhelmingly like cigarettes and tobacco Even in the hallway on our floor (floor 43), it smelled like it The gym in the hotel is great along with the selection of restaurants in the “quarter” Most of the restaurants, however, are mostly full most nights so make sure to make a reservation at them before hand! Other then that, this is a great hotel!
