My wife and I spent two magical nights at the Times House in January, and it was one of the most memorable places we’ve ever stayed! We stayed in the Legacy Grand Suite, a spacious, beautifully furnished, and impeccably appointed room on the second floor The downstairs lobby was so perfectly inviting; we ended up spending several hours there, sipping on warm cider and doing puzzles We loved being in this cozy B&B on cold winter nights, and we will definitely plan on coming back!

Carol Sikora

What a lovely B&B! The owners, Chris and Diane, have thought of everything From the mints at the side of your bed to the delicious homemade granola and baked goods they provide each morning They have totally renovated this Inn to perfection

The town has lots of shopping, restaurants, and things to see and do We plan to return and once again, eat our way through this adorable town!

Maria Cristina Marcos

My partner and I had a wonderful experience staying at Times House Diane and Chris (our hosts) were very kind and attentive The Nostalgia Suite was elegantly decorated

The baked goods are delicious so make sure that you try all of them We were really happy to have a parking spot included with our accommodations since parking can be difficult in downtown Jim Thorpe I would recommend Times House to anyone looking to spend a romantic weekend in a beautiful town

This was our first stay in a Hampton Inn and we were pleasantly surprised at how good it was All the staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Amy who helped us at breakfast, being newbies to waffle making! Our room was lovely and clean, a very good size and very comfortableThe breakfast was also very good, with a wide selection of things to have

The hot items were hot, not just warm Amy regularly topped them upSo, if all Hampton’s are this good then we’ll definitely use them again

Gregory Yourek

We stayed here during a ski/snowboard trip to Blue Mountain Resort in the Poconos We had a nice stay We were here during a big snow storm and the hotel did a decent job of cleaning the snow out of the parking lot

The room was fine I put my kids on the bed and slept on the sofa bed They did not have enough blankets in the room for the sofa bed, so I was a bit cold at night They probably would’ve given me more blankets, but I was too tired to ask The breakfast was nice I would stay here again

Alexandra Pierce

This is genuinely the best hotel I have ever stayed in for such a good price My best friend and I stayed here overnight and we booked very last minute… like walked in the front door and asked for a room type of last minute We had a terrible experience with the comfort inn hotel 15 minutes away and needed a last minute change

The front desk employee Nadalyn was absolutely the sweetest person to talk to and she was so helpful I will absolutely be staying here again and will recommend this place to all of my friends and family when coming to Jim Thorpe in the future

We had a wonderful stay in Jim Thorpe at Kelly Suites on Broadway The accommodations were clean and we felt very comfortable! Loved all the little details that made the stay special

We wouldhave stayed a little longer but we got a call in the middle of the night that our daughter was in labor with our first granddaughter💕We would stay again and again!!🍁

This intimate hotel was absolutely adorable!! My husband and I stayed in the Garden Suite (Designer Suite) and loved every second It is the perfect balance of modern and antique The location is perfect

You can’t get any better! I loved the added touch of a Brita filter for drinking water, the Kuerig for coffee before the town wakes up (most things seemed to open at 11am during our stay in early May), the special make up towels, books to enjoy on the balcony, and so much more! I highly recommend Kelly Suites when exploring Jim Thorpe

Jen Pijanowski

My husband had a wonderful stay at Kelly Suites ! It is one of the coziest, clean and peaceful B&Bs we have ever stayed in! Caitlin went above and beyond accommodating us when I first had to move our reservation and then we almost couldn’t make it due a power outage at home, but thankfully it all worked out! I cannot say enough great things about this B&B and Caitlin ! I will be recommending Kelly Suites to everyone I know

Jim Thorpe is such a niceplace to visit ! Wish we could have stayed longer, but we will be back that’s for sure !!

The restaurant that is part of the inn is phenomenal Their breakfast is out of this world! Would definitely recommend staying for a visit and we will definitely stay at The Inn at Jim Thorpe the next time we visit

Stayed at 44 Broad which was great! The staff at front desk were so friendly and helpful when there was a mixup with the date of our reservation and got us situated quickly We liked the location right downtown amongst all the history of the charming Jim Thorpe They had a good restaurant also and you get $10 voucher towards breakfast

Breakfast fills up quick so make a reservation the night beforehand especially if you are needing to get to another activity (we had to be whitewater rafting) Good stay would stay again

I can’t say enough good things about Allyson and her amazing B&B I only stayed for one night while in town for work but I’ll definitely be back if given the chance Great room, so cozy, many surprise amenities, super clean, free and easy parking, just perfect

I was able to walk to some great spots for dinner/lunch as the location is near many quality restaurants Breakfast was phenomenal and Allyson was quick to accommodate my early morning start So very appreciated!

Rachele Brown

This was a great B&B, so cute and quaint We stayed in their largest room (The Maids Suite) to accommodate our family of 4, which was on the top floor It was spacious and comfortable

The made to order breakfast Allyson made us in the morning was delicious! We were only there for one night and got to do a tour of Yuengling brewery which was very cool! We would definitely come back and stay here longer – and you can’t beat the affordable nightly rate!

Amy Walsh

I chose wisely! This location was perfect and near where I had business The room was lovely and had high quality fixtures, thick towels, little extras that show care Allyson is a wonderful host and owner

Lovely place to stay, we stayed here for 1 night during our long haul from Florida to NY The free breakfast was an added bonus and very much appreciated the morning after before we continued our journey northWe had a cat with us and it was important that they are pet friendly

Our cat actually got stuck (at least we though) under the passenger car seat during the drive, the staff were very helpful and assisted by providing a ratchet wrench and sockets to help loosen the car seat Turned out our cat was just being stubborn and didn’t want to come out Had us worried for quite a while but managed to free him thanks to the helpful staff

Ian Brockhouse

Everything seemed fine until we got to our room, the toilet was COVERED in feces I called the front desk immediately and apparently sending someone to clean as “soon as you can” means you will be sitting and waiting Then they said they cant do anything to discount me after that debacle because I booked through a 3rd party website

How is this in any way worth the money staying here????

Abigail Manganiello

My partner and I stayed here for a night, and if it wasn’t an emergency situation that we were there, we probably would have left to find somewhere else The hotel room was very obviously smoked in – it smelled awful It was also so humid in the room, even running the humidifier that was provided all through the night was not enough to alleviate that

The shower floor was so dirty, there was mold in the grout of the shower, the bedsheets were not clean and looked like they had not been changed recently The towels in the bathroom looked used and dirty as well There were dirty clothes left in the room as well I would not recommend staying here The only positive was the breakfast that was provided in the cafe

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic weekend at Harry S Packer mansion The moment we arrived we were warmly greeted by the staff, all of whom are exceptional in their professionalism, hospitality and attentiveness to ensuring our stay was nothing short of perfect

The mansion itself boasts some seriously magnificent architecture, and gorgeous views and scenery from all sides, as well as a beautiful veranda out frontTo the staff/ manager–thank you again for the wonderful stay, and we hope to become regulars at your establishment!

Jeremy Yowell

Booked a fun Halloween weekend stay at the Harry Packer mansion and had a great timeThe mansion itself is impressive and well maintained, with breakfast served daily on the bottom floor, a well stocked bar onsite, and a wonderful veranda as well There are additional rooms in the adjacent carriage house which is where our actual room was

Walking into Jim Thorpe proper was very easy, although be warned that the walk back is fairly steep and if you have issues with steep inclines you may want to plan aheadThe service while staying at this bed and breakfast was also great, with personable staff and an easy check in/out process The only complaint we had while staying was a large amount of lady bugs in our room, however we explained the situation to Management and I’d expect that issue to have been resolvedI’d definitely recommend staying at Harry Packard if you’re looking to spend time in Jim Thorpe!

Susan Ham

We received a gift certificate for the HP Mansion as a wedding gift but we’re unable to use it during COVID It is extremely disappointing to learn that the new owners will not honor it now We planned to bring friends so , of course, we would have spent more money than what the gift was worth so I’m not understanding why they will not honor it at this time

This is extremely poor customer service so I do not recommend this place at all I had to give it a star rating to post this review so I chose one but I prefer to give them 0 stars

Had I known that this hotel makes you sign a waive on checkin that limits your lobby use after 10pm I wouldn’t have booked Here for a relaxing weekend with family that we haven’t seen in years and you close down the public lobby at 10pm like this is some sort of kindergarten It’s a shame that you must have had guests to rowdy to cause this rule, but as a paying guest I want to be able to enjoy the lobby area on my terms

Don’t stay here, staff is rude

Vincent Shenko

If I was writing this review 2 1/2 years ago (before the pandemic), I would have given the hotel 5 stars Now, I only give it three stars This is because when I was there last month, the pool was closed, the staff did a terrible job with getting the younger siblings of children on a travel team to be quiet while having a pizza party downstairs, and the selection at the breakfast buffet is still not back to what it was pre-pandemic

While at it, if you have young children (younger than the ones having the pizza party downstairs), then don’t come here because even the non-handicapped room I was in no longer had a bathtub Despite my bad experience, I’m not giving 1 or 2 stars because the rooms were clean, smelled fine, and had no bed bugs or roaches I also believe that if they can get more desk staff, reopen the pool, and bring back the pre-pandemic breakfast buffet, then it can return to 5 stars

This place has real easy acces to I-81 We actually stayed here twice overnight on our trip It was priced a little higher than the other Comfort Inns we stayed at but it was a bit more upscale too

We liked the free breakfast they offered to guests and the rooms were pretty quiet even though this is located very close to the highway The staff was friendly and helpful

I’m disappointed in writing this review for a place where I was excited about having our guests stay for our weddingI called the Comfort Inn to book a hotel block a couple of months ago for my July 2023 wedding, the girl at the front desk took the necessary information and told me that the GM would contact me soon to reserve the roomsFast forward to this month and we are about a year out from our wedding

We visited our venue and my mother-in-law decided to go to this hotel to get more information on the hotel block The people at the front desk again gave her the information and said that the GM would be in contact with her soon My mother-in-law called this week to contact the GM and was told that the hotel is booked out for weddings until 2024 and that the GM would be in contact with her soon I decided to call last night to double-check if what information she was given was true Turns out that a golf outing had booked all but seven rooms for that weekend Also, the girl who took the call was surprised that the GM hadn’t contacted me despite there still being a note from my call a couple of months priorExtremely disappointed
