We stayed at the Green Tree Inn for a weekend get away from Phoenix We chose it specifically because it is pet friendly and conveniently located in West SedonaThe staff was excellent, but the amenities were basic and medium quality

The on-site breakfast left a lot to be desiredThat being said, there were excellent breakfast options within walking distance of the hotel including Nick’s West Side and Sedona Crepes We also walked to Vino di Sedona one evening and enjoyed the live music and wineDue to the pandemic the hotel was not offering cleaning services, but they were available if we needed additional towels or soapWe were disappointed that cleaning services were not automatically available given that we paid a daily fee for hotel services and we were willing to vacate the room while the cleaners were present to keep them safeOverall the hotel met our needs and helped us stay within budget but we probably would not return without pets

We stayed at the Green Tree Inn for several days in January 2002 The room was dated and small but clean and comfortable The staff was friendly

We had a balcony with a nice view of the mountains The location is great close to the hiking trails and uptown Sedona There is also a Safeway grocery store about a mile away My problem with this hotel is the breakfast which is poor Basically, just microwaveable food The breakfast is included in the hotel rate It would probably be better just to eliminate the breakfast and offer only coffee and tea There is a Mc Donald’s and several small restaurants near by which offer a reasonably priced breakfast Another issue I found is that I was charged a $1000 nightly fee called a “hotel services fee” No idea what this entails We had no room service during our stay (by choice) and I saw nothing on the property to justify the fee My guess is that it is just another way to make money I probably would not stay at the Green Tree again Although it was the most reasonably priced hotel I could find I would probably stay in Oak Creek Village on my next visit to the area Oak Creek is also close to the hiking trails and uptown Sedona but appeared to be less expensive

We stayed here for 2 nights Kcup coffee was okay Complimentary breakfast was pretty good

Staff was friendly and accommodating Pool and hot tub were pretty decent Room was comfortable but shower head leaked and bathroom floor got very wet from showering Shower curtain wasn’t quite long enough Iron leaked water and the ironing board legs were bent so it was tilted when fully extended Hard to iron on it Iike that The air conditioner worked well but it ran all the time and had to be changed manually since the batteries in the thermostat were dead But all that aside, it was clean, comfortable and convenient

This place is pretty cool Three restaurants: one very inexpensive ($8) for 1/2 chicken, mashed potatoes, veggie and roll Same for meat loaf and other entrees

They have a 50s themed diner and a high end restaurant Other than gambling ($10 minimum at black jack table), not much to do except eat, wander around or bowl There’s a fun place to leave the kids while you gamble, swimming pool for guests of hotel

Jodie Reichert

$1000 buffet: we were the first few to go in at 7:00am! No toast or bread of any kind, they only had scrambled eggs, corned beef and hash (taste like it came out of a can) hard bacon, good sausage links, cubed potatoes, small danishes that (taste like they came from the supermarket) and white gravy All of the food was warm not hot

It did include your drinks The best thing about going there was an outstanding male server that was so sweet, service with a smile 😊 and polite that made the experience worth it, we gave him a really nice tip!! That’s a man that truly enjoys his job (he said so) and working extra hours because he has a family

This is a nice casino All of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful The place is clean and layed out nicely

The Three Sisters and the Cafe have reasonable prices, great food and coffee The other restaurants are over priced for the just okay quality of the food and small portions I’d recommend stopping by if your looking to have some fun on your way through the area

We love Sedona but this experience was not our best Suite was not what we expected Kitchen was tiny with a very small stove and refrigerator

We usually cook and there was no room The kitchen sink had no hot water and the dish washer would not work Maintenance had to come in twice The bed was way too soft Their beds are usually excellent Also there was not nearly enough parking and we couldn’t park close to our unit Bathroom door wouldn’t latch For such a magnificent area, our suite had no views at all None of it was the Wyndham quality we’ve been used to

Julie Reed

Amenities are great The staff is friendly and helpful Good space for the room and full kitchen, even though it’s a small one

Comfortable bed Good movie channels to choose from, some places don’t give that The room we were in was in dire need of an upgrade Terrible carpet Unfortunately the walls were also thin, could hear our noisy neighbors loudly

Leah Richards

Wonderful property and first time stay–had a second floor room on end which was quiet and had balcony Most impressed with Zachary at front desk with his helpful suggestions and tips

would have never found certain secluded spots without his help Check in was smooth and quick and walking distance from grocery and Pisa Lisa which was so fun

Although we got there at 5pm, there was nobody there I got an email the day we were driving there to call or text to provide our credit card number before they would issue code to get our room even though it was paid for through Bookingcom (which is why I use this service)

When we got there, I saw the email and tried to call with no answer, same thing with text Only got the code by 8:45pm By that time we had bought another room at other hotel This is my first negative review of a property but thought others should know as not a way to run a hotel Although I didn’t get a view of the room, when reading the negative reviews about the property, I can concur it is not as advertised and old and tired

Erik Kaiser – REMAX

Location is nice Walls are a little thin as we could hear the neighbor talking on their phone Someone started a leaf lower at 9 AM which was unfortunate as we could not sleep in

The bed was a Queen size and was not that comfortable and seemed a little aged I think they should have put a king size new bed in and then it would be a great little spot

Mark Lukabn (Weremark)

What a cute little spot! I’m really happy I found Baby Quail Inn My room was immaculate, wifi was strong, the courtyard is charming, and the extras were very on point (some snacks and water for the trails, coffee and facial care mask for when you get back) It’s close enough to amenities that you can leave your car in the lot, but it’s far enough from the main road that it’s pretty quiet

I found them through AAA but make sure you book through Expedia because it’s a contactless check in (very impressed with the system and how helpful staff were when I called the “front desk”) Also the price was really good! I’m on a road trip from Cali to Quebec and my budget is tight so the price for a single queen bed with all the above in such a beautiful town, in my opinion, is perfect I hope I can come back to Sedona again some time and I’ll definitely be booking again with the cute and cozy Baby Quail Inn Thank you so much!!!

The spa was excellent, I got an intention massage and it was very soothing The service was very welcoming and pleasant The pools are salt which is always nice on the eyes

They have a steam room, sauna and hit tub in the locker rooms For food we are at the restaurant, the cheese board was delicious, the salmon ramen thing was good, I also got a Southwest type salad with steak I order the steak medium and it came out rare and the salad flavor was just okay so that could have been better but over all pretty nice

Mike Smith

This is a quiet timeshare complex at the West end of Sedona, far away from the tourist traps I prefer the west end It may be a short drive to get food, but the restaurants are the locals, not the tourist places

Pros: Quiet location Short drive to hiking trails Red Rock view from balcony Kitchenette Large shower/bathroom Staff was quick, pleasant and helpful Price was a GOOD VALUECons: It’s a 25 year old timeshare complex that could use some maintenance Our heater was not working when we arrived, the room was 50F inside We had to change rooms

Aura Blue

Great place Every suite has a small, well supplied kitchenette (no oven) and balcony They have four pools and lots of hot tubs

It seems whichever building you’re in, you’re close to a pool and/or jacuzzi The walking trails on property also link into the Sedona hiking trail system so you can enjoy a nice hike with beautiful views without having to find parking and drive through town I’d give them 5 stars, but check in time is a little late (4pm) and check out time is a little early (10am), and I wish they had a restaurant on site, but we’d definitely stay here again

Miss Vee

We needed a 2 bedroom and this hotel met our needs and our budget Plus, there was a kitchenette and 3 grocery stores within 3-5 minute drive The rooms were clean AND comfortable

We needed towels and had questions, the staff made it very easy by setting up a texting system which they very quick to respond A great sunset hike is walkable from anywhere on the property I will be back

Marvelous Views, Relaxing, Unique, Beautiful, But Over PricedI visited the Enchantment Resort in March 2022 and will share some of the pros and cons:On the positive side: the Enchantment Resort is uniquely located in a private blocked off area of Sedona and offers several hiking options It’s absolutely beautiful The hotel staff is super friendly, helpful, and readily available to ensure you have a positive stay

We really enjoyed the hikes, guided tours, and nighttime star gazing The pool, food, bed, bath, and activities area all excellent quality There is a 24/7 shuttle service to get you wherever you need to go throughout the resort The hiking, culture/history classes, and views are truly spectacularOn the downside: Overall, I thought the Enchantment was overpriced given the amenities and services left a bit to be desired For example, the coffee machine in the room didn’t work and I had to call 3 times to get it fixed The Enchantment ended up sending coffee to the room but charged us for it (on a positive note, ultimately they reversed the charge after I spoke to the front desk) Considering the cost of the resort, these types of things shouldn’t happen Similarly, the room we stayed in had a beautiful balcony, but it was overlooking the staff parking lot Considering that the Resort prides itself on nature and beautiful outdoor scenery, no rooms (no matter the cost) should be overlooking a parking lot

K Adams

The location is stellar!!! There is no place better in the world Pool is gorgeous… it’s like being in a living post cardBased on the hotel rating, I would have thought the attention to detail and the welcoming amenities would have been a bit more thoughtful

We also had multiple mishaps with our various servers on site Each one was resolved, but we were on site for two days and it happened to us on multiple occasionsOn-site food was all delicious Michael is amazing All of the folks we passed along our walks were very friendly and very welcoming When we first arrived, Huesen (spelling) gave us a wonderful tour of the clubhouseThe view and the proximity to hikes made the price worth it; otherwise it did not live up to what I think of when I think of a five star hotel

Adriana Rodriguez

The resort is located in a beautiful area The views and grounds are spectacular The two restaurants on premise are good

Ahi Che has the best dinner dining experience It comes with a hefty price tag though The main pool was the only one available The bar service at pool is very good The two other pools were closed for maintenance the whole week They should be operational The fitness center was opened 24 hrs That is very good Guest services at night could be improved We needed something one night and could not get a hold of anyone The staff is generally friendly, helpful and very welcoming with very few exceptions They offer various activities All in all we had a very nice time and enjoyed ourselves at this very lovely resort

Fantastic, smaller inn! Staff was friendly and attentive, there’s a seasonal salt water pool, a gazebo with picnic tables and grill, and a fountain where you can refill your water bottles with filtered water Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, and included a kitchenette, which was great for saving some money on meals! The location is good: close to restaurants, stores, and the uptown, but set back from the road, so it’s quiet Will definitely stay here again!

Michele Engelskirch

We loved staying here briefly while visiting Jerome, we had the best room ever, it was super quiet and very chill We want the same room again, we loved the room away from everything We were close to food and gas, and not too close to hear traffic it was a very nice area off the main drag

Very clean and had everything even a refrigerator for our waters The bed was super comfortable And the AC works great!!!! Thank you so much!!!!

Robin Armstrong

This was a great place to stay It was relaxing, and clean It was perfect for my family

We stayed in the apartment Plenty of space for the five of us Newly updated Enjoyed the saltwater pool Used the grill under the gazebo to cook dinner They had our pack and play already in the room when we checked in Best of all, they knew me by name Personal touch

Family of four Got a suite, king and queen beds, two rooms Clean and comfortable

Positives: Great staff including Doug on evening shift The morning manager also super helpful Excellent breakfast Cook staff engaging and very helpful, especially with one gluten free family member The suite room was perfect for family of fourNegatives: Pool and hot tub both closed (off season?) But after two days of hiking Grand Canyon, wish we could have known Concrete construction work stared 7:45 Monday morning All good, we needed to get going Would rather wake up to something other than a hammer drill! Exterior entrancesThe positives far outweighed any negatives Great spot to stay if hiking the Sedona areaI also recommend the Mexican restaurant right out the front of the hotel

lisa johnson

The room was clean and had a fridge, microwave and single serve Keurig to make snacks and drinks The breakfasts had a great variety to choose from and start the day right The location was nearby trails and shopping, we found all we needed without going out of our way

The pool and hot tub were ready to go, but we did not try them out We didn’t use the laundry either Overall, it was convenient and the amenities Great, definitely a 3 star hotel

Bree Nacole

I went out to celebrate Mother’s Day and when I had returned we had seen our door was wide open I was furious and went straight to the office to complain When I asked to see the camera footage I was told they couldn’t because the manager wasn’t there but they would check the key log

The lady at the desk then apologized then offered 20% off I then went back to my room to celebrate Mother’s Day After about 30 minutes she called and asked if I had noticed if anything was taken When I said no she started to say that the only key that accessed my room was mine So they could no longer offer that discount but a smaller one I personally do not care about the price, I booked it expecting to pay But I also expected a safe room that wouldn’t be entered when I was not there Needless to say I will not be coming back hereAnd if you plan to stay here make sure you take everything valuable with you

Loved the shared balcony feature! Our unit didn’t have any “living room” space, but we didn’t need it for our weekend I know other units have different layouts so I’d read the descriptions before booking to find one that meets your specific needs

My daughter and I stayed here for a weekend in October We did wine tasting and went on the Verde Canyon Railroad Each time we came back to the room we commented on how nice it was

We stayed in the 1925 room 2 queen beds, ceiling fans over each and there was even a floor fan provided! We really enjoyed out stay The room was clean and the host would send periodic text messages to let us know the room was ready and ask how we were enjoying our stay Absolute great place right in the heart of Cottonwood

Staff was very friendly – family owned and run business Older style of motel which I usually try to avoid, but it had been remodeled nicely Had a grab and go breakfast with donuts, juice, fresh fruit and yogurt

Room was clean and bed and pillows were comfy Is a couple of blocks from a whole food store which also had a huge supply of wine Ate one meal at the restaurant across the street which was good food and convenient They do also have an outdoor pool and a hot tub but it was too cold when we were there in January of course

It is a cute mom and pop hotel with old school charm Rooms were clean Decor and furniture all dated but not so much that it ruins the experience

It just feels like a $50 hotel The pool is not heated and was filthy dirty Pictures are not accurate The hot tub was not heating so it was very cold They should update the site to reflect non-working utilities Staff was kind of friendly but mot super bubbly Breakfast was sufficient but in a weird/awkward location/small space Some simple updates and this place would be so retro cool

A decent place to stay Nothing fancy Rooms were nice and the room with two queens also had a couch turned futon bed if needed that was big enough to throw a kid on which was a nice surprise

Extra sheets and blankets were available at the front desk who always had nice people Room had microwave and refrigerator Complimentary breakfast had basics like coffee, juices, hot water for teas, and milk Cereal, bagel, packaged muffins, danishes, and some refrigerated items like yogurt, precooked omelet, hard boiled eggs, and a breakfast burrito Pool was closed for Renovations and it was less than a 5 minute walk to it’s sister site for pool access

My opinions/response that went to the Customer Survey they sent me:The property is really a Model with Hotel amenities The staff was great, from check in to check out – and this place has a lot of potential, the washer and dryer on site are really handy tooIt’s very strange that the front desk assistant can’t book the same room (to extend my stay) for the same price that I can online, and she even suggested going through a third party site

I usually book with Choice Hotels because I have a bad back – this location has the worst bed out of any Choice Hotels I’ve been at so far It seems new, but really, really firm The pillows did not seem like they were up to par with the usual quality at other Choice properties Maybe I’m missing something in how the quality of all the different brands scale, but for almost $300 a night, I’d rather stay somewhere elseThe indoor AC units batteries were dying, so it was hard to see what mode it was on, or how to control the temperatures Maybe a print out of the modes somewhere? There were cigarette butts all outside the patio ground, I’d of had to explain that they were there when I got there The beds seemed fairy new, so I’m hoping this isn’t the new standard for Choice I like the uniqueness of the property, but foe the price tag and the bed, I don’t think it’s worth it, so we didn’t stay another nightThe property was undergoing pool and some other maintenance, but it’s winter and that didn’t impact my stay

Concerned because I was charged an extra $800 at night for amenities and couldn’t use because they were under construction The soaps and lotions needed refilling

My friend had bugs on her windowsill and was told they would do something the next day and didn’t The breakfast choices are good The outside tables are awesome It was quiet which I love Too many stairs for dragging luggage up and down the stairs
