We loved our stay everything was clean I didn’t like that we could only see the front back side entry roof and the cars that dropped off people Yes we did get the room a bit cheaper because we are seniors and the room above us had kids running around But we were only there in the evening so it wasnt a big deal

It was big clean and the service was nice We might stay here again or try another hotel just to compare

I’ve stayed at this chain multiple times all across the states and have always enjoyed my experience Things appeared to have gone very laxed since covid The front desk clerks used to be nicely dressed and friendly

Instead we were greeted by a woman wearing a bandanna and seemingly put off by us distributing her This hotel chain used to be reasonably priced We definitely didn’t get what we paid for The beds were like sleeping on boards, the direct-tv was not working supposedly because of the wind, coffee tasted a couple days old, and the bagels tasted like they were past their shelf life We should have spent the extra $50 and stayed at the Marriott

Adam Porter

Room was clean Waited close to 8 minutes for the front desk employee to come after ringing the bell several times Turns out she was taking a smoke break

At check out different employee but same story Walls must be really thin Woke up at 4:30 to the sound of the neighbor snoring then other neighbor alarm at 5:30 Pool was fun for the kids For the price the Marriot is probably a better option

The only downside to this place was the air conditioner was a bit noisy and the lights in the parking lot are bright enough that you have no choice but to have the blinds shut at night (On the other hand, from a security standpoint, the parking lot lights are a plus) On the upside the bed was incredibly comfortable – I think I was asleep in 30 seconds; the room was spacious and there was a large counter in the bathroom, and a small table with 2 chairs you could pull up – so plenty of space to spread out

There was a full sized refrigerator, a microwave, sink and 2 burner stove Except for the fridge, I did not use these amenities, but especially if you were staying a couple days, they could be very handy I interacted with 2 staffers, and they were both pleasant and friendly

Cindy Freeman

Oh my gosh

Hands down the friendliest people in town The man who checked me in was a very helpful Rooms were very clean, kitchen in the room was clean, sheets fresh, pillows fluffy and the air conditioning worked great Has a pool and hot tub The breakfast isn’t real diverse, but with cold cereal, hot cereal, bagels, muffins, waffles, juice, milk, coffee, it’s sufficient But the best part is the price Extremely affordable! That was my favorite part! I’d recommend it to anyone and I’ll be staying there whenever I’m in Vernal!

Mystery Meat

I booked a room on the Motel 6 website thinking this was a Motel 6 property because pets stay free and I was traveling with my dog When I arrived they charged me a $10 pet fee and said they were Studio 6 and not Motel 6 I was a bit irritated but once I got to my room I was pleasantly surprised that it was pretty nice

It had a complete kitchen with refrigerator, cook top, sink and microwave It was much nicer than most Motel 6 properties I have stayed at in the past Even with the pet charge it was still only $55 so pretty good value for the price

Great stay with great people! Rooms are huge with very comfortable beds, nice accommodations, has a pool The breakfast is fantastic! Don’t miss out on the cinnamon rolls and breakfast burritos! The food is much better than the Mexican place down the street, where a meal for 4 can easily run you more than a night at this little gem Staff is also very friendly and helpful

5 stars!

Traveling with teens can be difficult finding affordable accommodations with enough room for everyone but Dinosaur Inn did not disappoint! The family suite was perfect Each child had a queen bed and my husband and I got the king Very clean, spacious and quiet

The staff was very friendly and breakfast was fast and delicious Highly recommend!

Mary Catherine Chartrand

We stayed here for two days during our trip to Vernal and we’re absolutely charmed by this unassuming motel It is located right in the heart of downtown Vernal and is surrounded by plenty of cute restaurants and shops Everything is within walking distance, which was nice

The rooms were spotlessly clean, the pool was delightful and the breakfast was amazing The staff was was wonderfully friendly as well For the price, this hotel can NOT be beat and I would highly recommend

What great people and a great park! My family and I stopped in to dump and fill out RV on our way out of Dinosaur National Monument, where we had been boon-docking at one of the campgrounds for 3 days The park is proudly adorned with our beautiful American flag The dump station is an immaculate pull-through that is well set up with two good hoses (one to fill, one the flush) to make the process super easy; and even has a little sitting garden right next to it

They also have a big beautiful grassy area with a playground where our kids were able to go occupy themselves with our dog The layout of the park is open and clean and they have a great laundry facility for guests After dumping and filling, I mentioned that we were having an issue with our slider (just missing a bolt from the shaft) and he immediately offered to help He drove off to his shop to get me the bolt I needed and took the time to help me get it installed and balanced (teaching me a few things in the process) They also let me know of a great mobile repair tech nearby who can help with any significant problems when needed I can’t wait to return to the area and actually stay at the park next time I can’t recommend this place and praise their owners enough to do them justice If you’re ever in the area, stop by for a stay You’ll be happy you did!!

Broken Boundaries

I’ll be honest, this place was pretty low on my radar and I only booked it due to location next to Dinosaur National Monument I am not a fan if parking lot style RV parks However the kids actually loves it

Firepits, swings, charcoal grills W/ tables all for communal use Plus bathrooms, showers and laundry Cute (from the outside at least) cabins for rent also

We should have stayed 2 nights, but only stayed for one hourThe staff was kind, that’s the only positive thingThe room wasn’t cleaned at all! Trash under the bed, funky smell, the door was hanging, so we had to lift it every time we closed it

The hot water wasn’t working, and there was homeless people outside our doorI wouldn’t recommend it at all

Cherice Barry

I booked this hotel through CheapTicketscom because it was highly rated at a decent price ABSOLUTELY HUGE MISTAKE

Those reviews must be false This is the worst place I have ever stayed inFirst off, the smell I know hotel rooms usually smell a bit funky but this is one of the worst smells I’ve ever smelled I had to double check I was in a non-smoking room as requested Horrible Then, I planned on taking a shower, only to discover the hottest setting was barely luke warm Can’t shower So I lay down and turn on the tv to discover my TV makes a consistent banging noise This place is run down and needs serious updating Bed seems comfortable and although I’ve checked for bedbugs, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if they are there Would never stay here again I’m literally at the hotel looking for another room, willing to pay just about anything to get out of here

Charity Jones

Booked 2 rooms through Bookingcom a month in advance with a request for early check in Got to the motel to check in about 1:30pm

It took about 30 minutes to even get our rooms One of our rooms, the door was wide open and you could Cleary tell that it had not been cleaned, both beds were unmade and the dirty bedding was piled on one of the beds and in a chair in the corner Went to the office to let them know and was told that check in was 3pm We had ALREADY CHECKED IN! They wound up moving me to another room 2 1/2 hours after we checked in The 2nd room was missing the bedside table, the were burn holes in the sheets and the bathroom light wasn’t working properly and wouldnt stay on, theres was a person sleeping in their vehicle in the parking lot I travel a lot and have stayed in many not so savery motels and have to say this is by far the worst one I’ve ever stayed in Do NOT recommend You truely get what you pay for here

This trip to Price was for my Nephew’s wedding reception We chose the Quality Inn based on reviews and price and found exactly what we expected A nice room for the price

My kids enjoyed the pool, though it was a bit cold The hot tub was fine and the breakfast was tasty One complaint was the waffle maker was broken, but there was a nice selection of other itemsOverall we were pleased with our stay

Cheri Dransfield

This is a really nice place to stay The staff are all very friendly and kind They only charge a small flat rate for pets and have a nice big area for them to utilize out front with a receptacle

The rooms are clean and quiet with comfortable beds Pool and hot tub were nice as well They also have a steakhouse in the hotel with fantastic food! Would definitely stay here again

Phil Sorensen

They were pretty good to work with, the staff was nice The room could have been cleaned better The bathroom didn’t seem to be wiped down, I saw toothpaste residue on the counter and on some of the stuff in the bathroom

However they messed up the payments on my rooms a couple of times because the workers didn’t really know what they were doing so that was a pain to deal with

The place is under construction so there were some unattractive wall patches, paper numbers taped to doors, etc But the carpet in the rooms seemed new and clean The rooms were clean and a little more spacious than average

The best part of the trip was when an employee, without us asking, asked if we would like our room serviced I stay at a lot of hotels and this is unheard of during the era of hotel management using Covid as a lame excuse to not service rooms like they’ve done for decades

The owner personally made us an excellent breakfast that was far beyond the tossed granola bar offered at other economical hotels We have stayed here often and have found this Days Inn staff to be unfailingly friendly and helpful, and of course clean accommodations are a given We consider this manager to be our friend, and the warm atmosphere of this location of Days Inn reflects his pleasant nature

As an example, this morning, even though we arrived at the closing time of the breakfast service, we still were invited to have fresh waffles, fruit, and toast Staying here is like staying with a good friend

A F

Good location Very economical If you need a bed and shower, this is the placeLike all days inn, not the cleanest of hotels

Wifi, free parking Pool is not working, not surprised So if you are wanting a pool, do not stay here The rooms can be cleaned much better! Dirty rags in shower, needs vacuumed Not enough towels Like I said if you just need a bed to sleep in for the night at an affordable price, this is it

Carson and LeishaAnne Corbett

We were not impressed with our experience here We booked two nights in a two queen bed, we only stayed one night in a two full bed room When we first called there was great service and they described well set up rooms, full warm breakfast, and open functioning pool

We called back later to book but then was told different prices then originally quoted and given grief about having children with us in our room When we arrived the pool was not functioning, room was squished and not what we paid for – queen vs full set up as well as the door lock was broken, window blinds would not open It felt outdated or at least not kept well We were grateful they reimbursed the second as we didn’t feel comfortable staying The breakfast was a typical breakfast and we were grateful for the few options there

Nice big beautiful rooms Fit my husband and myself and 3 kids comfortably My kids loved the office space for sure

The pull out couch was a hit I didnt care for the glass type doors on the bathroom and shower roomBreakfast was good other than no meat choices when we got there by 830 amOnly eggs My thought would be to provide until the 10 am cutoffOtherwise we will definitely be staying here again next time we are out here

Jennifer Burr

Room was clean, beds were comfortable, and staff was friendly Breakfast was good but didn’t open till 7 and there was no sign letting guests know when to expect breakfast to be served I do wish the bathroom doors were not glass doors

It makes it hard to get up in the morning with other people in the room You turn on the light and it brightens the whole room up The staff and hotel were otherwise great

Shan Tee

Everything there is great The rooms are clean The property is clean

The breakfast was good My only complaint? The bed They were hard as a rock, all they did was put a thin top bedding on it It doesn’t seem like they were newer My back and hip hurt the entire day I had a 3-day stay So, I resorted to using the pillows as an additional bedding topper I lined them up in a row and put the sheet on top to keep them together That did the trick

This place was great Super clean, nice rooms with all the basic amenities The staff was very helpful

The hot breakfast was waffles and biscuits and gravy- we would have loved to have had a protein option- but Betty’s Cafe, about a four minute drive down the road, fed us well! Lots of parking at the hotel but there is only one way in and one way out this both keeps patrons safer from nefarious people and makes the building a death trap should there be a fire Over all, I recommend it for anyone who wants a clean and quiet room in a good location with all the basic amenities

Nick Barker

Comfort Inn & Suites Vernal is a decent hotel with the standard amenities you would expect for your priceOur most significant issues during our stay: The hot tub was not working but down for maintenance and wouldn’t work for our entire stay I’ve had this happen on more than one occasion at hotels in Vernal, so I’d check with them a day or two before your expected visit to see if it is working or not

The other gripe is our room’s smoke alarm started chirping every 15 seconds just before 10pm This is a feature of smoke alarms to let you know the batteries need to be changed We called the front desk, and they mentioned that they don’t know where the ladder is nor the batteries to change them Our only options were to move rooms, which we didn’t want to do as our children were already in bed going to sleep, or to try and fix it ourselves or deal with it Because we really didn’t want to switch rooms, I decided the best option was to stand on the dresser and remove the battery, thus removing the sound and removing the safety that the smoke alarm provides Is this a big deal? No, but I think this is something that the front desk should be able to fix quickly Simply a ladder, battery, and 2 minutes to change, and you’re good to goOur favorite thing about this hotel: The continental breakfast It isn’t anything overly special, but it has one, and you don’t have to worry about figuring out breakfast We don’t spend much time at our hotel, so we don’t need much else We did take advantage of the workout room and pool The workout room is fine The treadmill wasn’t working, but they did have an elliptical that worked The biggest bummer about the workout room is there are no free weightsI would go back to this hotel, but I would make sure the hot tub/pool worked If not, I’d spend a bit more for another hotel with a continental breakfast and similar amenitiesOn a side note, I noticed they allow dogs, and multiple people stayed with dogs If that is something you’d need, this is an option

C Marshall

From check-in, Marybeth was super friendly, to check-out, a very positive stay! I actually left a few jackets in a drawer and did not realize until we had left I called the front desk and the Manager Sai held them until I had a family member retrieve I have left several items in my travels over the years and NEVER been able to retrieve them

They always disappear or I am told, Nothing was left The rooms were clean, the breakfast area was clean and the attendant was friendly and helpful The management in Vernal is A+! I so appreciate a honest, clean, friendly environment Defiantly recommend

Under new ownership, Miss Maggie is transitioning this motel into more up to date door locks and friendly customer service Be patient, as, the staff are all handling multiple responsibilities while she hires on new people Pool is clean, rooms are clean, we wish they would add the boiled eggs back in to the breakfast, but, otherwise, a great stay

Victor Mamlin

Love love love this place! Seriously I can’t believe how nice this place is, especially for the price The staff are super friendly, the room was clean and spacious, the hot tub was, well, hot! This isn’t the first time we’ve stayed here over the years on trips through Utah and this location never disappoints The breakfast is a great bonus too, with a waffle maker and good coffee! If you’re traveling through to Denver this is a great stopping point for the night

I highly recommend this motel!

Nice place Room was clean The service at the front desk was very efficient and pleasant

We had several family members stay in other rooms and we all went down to the lobby where there was a nice table that we could all play games at which was really great! The continental breakfast was good

John Paxton

My rating’s based on the expectations from a 2 star hotel The complementary breakfast saves any favoring for this place The waffles were good and they offered pre-packaged hard boiled eggs

The beds were decent Everything else was small, the TVs were small, the pool is tiny, I guess the hot tub is normal sized, not very warm Another bonus is the pool is open till 11pm The fitness room is tiny: free weights up to 30 lbs, an elliptical, treadmill, and bike It did have a water cooler in their which is nice

Nicole Van Tassell

This wonderful motel hosts AA meetings and are always so welcoming to everyoneMy childrenand parents were able to attend and see me get my 3 year sobriety chipI haven’t stayed here in a room but would recommend it because of the service, location, cleanliness and other recommendations

I have stayed here several times in the past this is the first time I did not enjoy it The lady at the front desk I believe she must be new cuz I have never seen her before and I think her name is Brandy made me feel unwelcome She was short with me and never even smiled

Room was extremely clean though with new bedspread which was lovely The breakfast girl was very sweet and even went and bought orange juice after I told her I wish that there was some they had strawberries for the waffles and whipped cream very nice

Avoid staying hereWe came up for a baseball tournament and stayed here out of desperation because everything else is completely bookedTo begin with they lost our reservation after charging us $95, we only ended up getting the room because someone else had just canceled theirs

The non smoking room we rented smells like someone has been smoking in it for years and is extremely strongThe sheets and towels were disgusting ( covered in what looked like pee spots and god knows what else)Continental breakfast was disgusting and looked as if someone had a food fight, there was syrup and batter all over cabinets and counter tops, stuff left opened and out, it was grossIn an attempt to check out, we waited 20 minutes for an employee to help us and nobody ever showed up to the desk, so we left our keys to the room on the desk and leftThis place is a joke and should be avoidedIt appears that a lot of the people staying there are residents and like to be up partying at all hours of the nightLeaving disgusted, exhausted and out on money we could have spent elsewhere and had a better experience

I had previously stayed here and was not impressed This stay however was a pure night and day difference! What a fantastic decision to hire the lovely Mischel, she has turned that place around for the better Clean fast and friendly service

My travel companion speaks very little English and was elated when the helpful lady behind the desk spoke to him in fluet Spanish Fantastic stay and will be booking again
