I have been staying here for years If you stay for a few nights you for sure will love it I’m sure! One of the best stays we have had since COVID We had a young family and the rooms were great Our first night, we had a slight plumbing issue and it was resolved quickly Breakfast was fresh and ample choices for all The lines can get long but it didn’t stop us from enjoying our meal for 3 days The best part is the proximity to many DC attractions Great visit!

I stayed here for 3 nights, most of the nights were good We got a corner room that was very clean We asked for extra shampoo and conditioner and the staff gave us 9 bottles! 😂 Everything was good, except for on our last night there was a party on the floor above us and people were smoking weed

They were asking kids if they wanted to “join the party” The adults were running around the halls and waking people up, including me Eventually security was called and as far as I know they were arrested There should have been a better way to handle this

If you’re looking for luxury, this place is NOT it I reserved a suite for 12 nights and had to check out after the second day The rooms are dark and dismal

Small windows facing a brick wall, letting in very little sunlight I feel like I’m in someone’s basement The rooms are drab and the decor is old and outdated My blinds were half broken and the dishwasher is literally one push away from completely falling apart Nothing here is modern The only luxurious thing about this suite is that it has hot water and A/C Oh yeah and it’s within walking distance of a lot of places

Ras Pamoja Tutashinda El

What a disaster Luxury includes 20 min wait for towels and linen only to find out and not being told that there is no hot water in the entire building A promise that hot water might be Available at checkout

an unannounced 150 hold on your credit card NEVER AGAIN AVOID LIKE THE PLAUGE 4pm checkin and an 11am checkout The only thing they would offer is sorry No stars if that was an option We traveled to DC in 97 degree weather did some sight seeing only to return back to the luxury suites with no water? Sad thing is they were still checking people in knowing there is no hot water

Momina Shafiq

Pros: Thre location is pretty central DC, its qalkimg distance to alot of places, the bus stand is at a 3ins walk as well Love that a CVS is literally right at the back of the buildingComing to the suites, the size is amazing, 1 bedroom, a good size tv lounge attached kicthen which have all the basic suppliesCons: i wish they had a washing machine in the suite as well or in the building

However ghe closest laundrette is 12 mins walking distanceIts super loud early in the morning from traffic noise to people talking loudly on the road, you can hear everything in this apartment, this used ro disrupt my sleep

They always remember us and provide the most impeccable care during our visits! I highly recommend this property, the ambiance and amazing staff ensure we always return!

I would highly recommend the Four Seasons in Georgetown The staff is so amazing and the Concierges is out of this world They helped us get tickets to all the places that we wanted to go around town and went above and beyond on places that didn’t have availability to try to get us tickets

Also the rooms are incredible! I can’t say enough about the service and the quality of the hotel

Betsy Juhasz

My daughter’s wedding was at the Four Seasons I have never had such exceptional service The food was beyond amazing, and the attention to detail was perfect

The Four seasons took care of every detail so we were able to show up and enjoy Every member of staff was professional, polite, and top notch I can’t thank them enough for making this the most beautiful wedding we’ve ever been to

I stayed at Eaton DC almost 2 weeks while I was in the city for work training, and overall it was a very pleasant experience The customer service was excellent and room service was provided every day Mr

Faye, the manager is very kind! The location is fantastic and safe However, the rooms were smaller than expected and don’t have microwaves And the bathroom was tiny with poor lighting The hotel is unique because of the eclectic styling and there is a record player in the rooms I would probably stay again for a couple of days, but any time length over that, I would choose a hotel with more space and amenities such as a complimentary breakfast and ice available on each floor I’m glad I had the chance to experience Eaton DC though!

Anastasiya Zolotova

I absolutely love the Eaton hotel It was cozy, it was intentional, and it was clean Everything I need for a weekend getaway

I loved everything the hotel had to offer from the delicious Michele’s restaurant to the sexy speakeasy Allegory down to the record player in my room The rooms are so nice and I really enjoyed my stay here I will be back!

Sean Jennings

We liked the room, it was pretty cool and had a record player The cocktail bar is really good, and the roof bar looked cool (we didn’t actually drink at the latter)However, what we paid was a relatively high price point for the area and for that sort of money I would expect to be able make a hot drink in my room in the evening or at least source one on the premises, and I would expect to be able to get breakfast in the hotel, neither of which were possible I wouldn’t recommend it unless you get a massively discounted rate

Me and family booked a night here from out of state Family of 4 with the king suite and pull out couch First off the pool doesn’t exist so don’t pack bathing suits nor believe the pictures

We were told it had been out of use for 6 years In our room on the south tower side we had no air and not to mention we had two toddlers with us So it wasn’t pleasant nor did I sleep good Parking is ridiculous being $42 a night but I guess your car stays safe right…? The breakfast that we paid for with our reservation was okay not the best breakfast I’ve had and it kind of bothered my family because waiters tried serving us when we didn’t want to be served and bothered us while eating wanting a tip…when our food was paid for…and it’s a buffet The pull out couch for my oldest toddler was mediocre outdated kinda feeling I will have to say it was clean more than other hotels I’ve been to so I give it that and it was close to a lot of attractions That’s about it!

Sharion Flood

My daughter was graduating from college in the area so I booked a room here Upon booking the room, I asked was there a pool and was told yes there is an indoor pool On the website, it states there’s a microwave and refrigerator in the room

Upon arrival, there was only a refrigerator but no microwave My granddaughter wanted to go to the pool so after her, my niece and nephew got dressed, we called the front desk to inquire about the location of the pool and was told that there hadn’t been a pool in the past 5 years I had an event to attend with my daughter so I made a call to the hotel while I was out to ask about the microwave that was suppose to be in the room and was told they would bring me one Upon returning to the room (picture provided) this is what I was provided It looks as if they pulled it out of an employee lounge or something with dents all over it The 2nd night the cable went out and did not come back on (pictures provided) I called the front desk and was told that they had called for repair For taxes and fees, I was charged the same amount as another night of stay ($466 for 2 nights) (pictures of room provided)I had family in another room, which they did not have any air conditioning The hotel did have it repaired which worked for a few hours then went back out, however they did have cable the entire stayNot 1 time did I receive an apology for any of the inconveniences from this hotel staff I attempted one more time to address all of the inconveniences upon check out At that time they offered to comp my parking which I didn’t have a car there, so I asked that they comp my family with the room that had no air conditioning They did do that for themThe staff acted as if all issues happen on a regular basis as they are quick to respond without checking any of it outI would never stay at another Double Tree anything I do not recommend this hotel under any circumstances

Cheryl Denise

The service at this hotel was great and the staff was really friendly The rooms though

they really need to be updated Our bathroom mirror was broken all along the edges – which is a hazard – and the “King” bed in our suite was definitely a Queen Our shower didn’t drain properly, and since there is no daily housekeeping, that meant we needed to clean our own tub Good thing I had my Clorox wipesbut I didn’t pay the nightly fees to clean my own tub in a hotel suite Yes, maybe I could’ve switched rooms but who wants to do that after dragging your luggage to your room and unpacking? The A/C was questionable – you had to turn it down to the mid 60s to get the air up-to-par Note: this is coming from someone who typically likes the room in the 70sIf you don’t care about any of the above and you need a hotel in a great location, then by all meansknock yourself out

A good place to stay at for a while The rooms are perfect; everything from a pull out couch to a stove, very high speed internet, great views, and more The employees were very nice also

There is free breakfast, but there are not a ton of options It was good though The location in Washington I personally wasn’t a fan of A pro could be that it was very close to the subway, but a con would be that just walking to blocks the wrong way and you can be in a shady area Overall, this Residence Inn was a great experience

Excellent Easy check-in/check-out, staff was welcoming and really really nice

but that’s my experience with people in DC in general Atmosphere and design was top notch Rooms are small but everything you need for a great night sleep Bed is right at window sill height so feels awesome and campybut in a city Great overall design Hallways even felt great Loved the frosted glass showers and toilet but I’m very private and would probably be an issue with me if significant other was with me Although watching her silhouette in the shower would be awesome Can’t beat the price, unbelievably affordable

Joseph Wight

Wasn’t sure at first… Check in process was hassle free, loved that I could do it myself, not much available to help bring heavy/large luggage around but I managed Room was smaller than I thought with an unorthodox style but the bed was massive and incredibly comfortable Loved the fluffy pillows and the tablet being able to operate absolutely everything

The different cool soaps, tap water is safe to drink, then when I asked for cleaning, they weren’t sure when they’d get to it… then did it within hours which was a pleasant surprise Modern, elegant, and hotel of the future… would stay again!

sierra hall

I loved my time here at the CitizenM The decor was amazing and the cleanliness of the rooms were even better Our check in went well and it was very easy

The showers are amazing and the bed is so comfy The bar was my boyfriend and I favorite spot to hang out, the bartenders were lovely and we even made cool with the manager at the bar! She made us some awesome drinks The only thing I didn’t like was the parking situation You have to find random parking on the street However, the hotel was so nice that it outweighed that burden of finding parking Overall, I loved my experience the staff was very friendly and helpful

This will be a mixed review The hotel two queen beds and room was very large and liked having the small kitchen type area With a couch, chair and end tables and coffee table, with the two queens was very nice

The bathroom didn’t have a door separating the preparation room from the rest of the bedroom area, this would have made it easier to get dressed without disturbing others sleeping In the morning, got up to use the work out area and there were only two towels and the workout area needed a thorough wipe down There were sweat marks on the equipment I went and informed front desk twice that towels were needed and the next day they still weren’t there; and the women working out said they had to go to the front desk to get towels and the old towels from yesterday were still there I again informed the front desk of the missing towels I left that day so I don’t know if the area was every wiped down or towels finally delivered As for the breakfast, they definitely watered it down too much Both days the oatmeal was more like soup I tried one day but just couldn’t do it the second day There was just too much water and using plastic spoons, it was hopeless As for the eggs, they were tasteless and again I think they “watered” down these too with something that was just too much I didn’t try the meat, but it looked fine And they had waffles which ran out of strawberry flavored mix and regular constantly The cereals were very boring, no sugar cereals, only the cheapest ones supplied They did have muffins, toast and bagels available and juice and milk Someone spilled their food on the floor and I mentioned to front desk, they picked it up but did not clean the floor The next day a liquid was on the floor and that also was not cleaned up Not pleased with the selection or the hotel in general and have stayed at many Hampton Inns A little more care in cleaning would be better

Spencer Berry

When I reserved to stay here, I really had low expectations due to the location near Loop I495 The hotel far exceeded my expectations and we had a great stay Parking was kind of congested, but we found spot close enough to the entrance

Our room was very nice and spacious The only knock of the room was the location of the TV, which faced a wall and the bathroom areahowever, it swiveled so that wasn’t a deal breaker The best surprise was the breakfast buffet 😋 We were treated to cheesy eggs, sausage and self serve Waffles (regular and blue berry) our first morning, and the next day was eggs, link sausage, fried potatoes and self serve Waffles (regular and chocolate) There was also plenty of coffee, juices, and other items available They also had a very large dining area which made finding a table and comfortable seating very easyThe location was perfect for access to the highways and very close to the subway stations and surrounding restaurants It was also only minutes away from the airport, so it made arriving to our departing flight very easy We would definitely stay here again when we travel to the DC/Virginia/Maryland area for a future visit

Steve Van Dyke

This is a mixed reviewStaff can make and break hotels Everyone I interacted with was polite and wanted to make things better

I appreciate that and I complement the staff for trying every time I brought concerns to them I saw several times the front desk staff dealing with situations with guests that could have spiraled out of control, but were handled with good grace and attitudeWith that, we had room maintenance issues First night we had a grinding noise from the a/c that caused a sleepless night We reported this and it was looked at, but not resolved We reported it again, and the a/c was replaced We also had water backup issues in both the tub and the sink, which we reported, but was not resolved I’ve never in almost 20 years had to report maintenance issues every day of my stayOtherwise, the amenities and location were great We enjoyed the outdoor pool, and the breakfast area was busy but well stocked and good- Edit -The general manager reply below indicated there was a private communication to me, and called me by the incorrect name No one from Hilton or the general manager to this point have reached out to me, and I have not been offered any compensation- Edit #2 -Hilton indicated that the GM had reached out to me and that has not happened to date I have left 2 voicemails to the general manager with no callback- Edit #3 -GM finally reached out and offered a credit Still haven’t seen this on my statement yet- Edit #4 -Finally received a credit on my account Hilton also reached out to me as well for the amount of time that it took me to resolve this

Worst service I’ve had in a long time – possibly ever This rating should be negative zero stars My mother is visiting from out of town (very far away) and I had planned a nice day to include afternoon tea for the both of us as a special treat

We do not get time together very often Imagine our surprise and disappointment when we arrived and the restaurant had no signs of life – closed without notice I went to the concierge desk of the Watergate and was informed it had been closed days before with no explanation and that they were sorry but the reservation must have been made through a glitch in their system The woman behind the counter was very nonchalant and not at all concerned, even when I showed her proof of my reservation Funny since I received both an email and two text reminders asking me to confirm, and was also charged for a prepaid tea service The Watergate staff did not offer any recompense, said I would have to resolve the charge to my card online, and to “try Georgetown” for something today Absolutely unacceptable! I will not be returning and will make sure to recommend against it every time I thought it would be fun to try, but there are plenty of better other and obviously better options in the area anyway I should add there were a couple of other guests in front of us who seemed extremely distraught by poor service and their rooms not being ready, so overall I would say this establishment should be passed over in every respect

Olivier Saint-Vincent

100% recommended!!If you are looking for a 5 stars ⭐️ hôtel in DC, this is the one It was perfectly located for us between Georgetown and the Mall (walking distance), and very quiet at the same time Gym, pool, jacuzzi, library, breakfast are great

You can walk by the Potomac easily… and it’s one of the best rooftop in DC The architecture is beautiful and bold The staff is very attentive and always there to help We can say that the new GM know how to make a stay unforgettable!!!

Adam Galazka

Absolutely stunning hotel Amazing location by the Potomac River Walking distance to many different stores and restaurants

Check in was great Valet parking on site for $58 a night Rooms are spacious and the most comfortable bed Some rooms do have balconies with waterviews but they are a little dirty When trying to call the front desk it took awhile for them to answer the phone Besides a couple of those negative we would definitely come back

I visited this location for a conference The entry way is contemporary and the decor quickly creates a visually stimulating atmosphere There are ample places to sit and gather, talk, relax, or have a bite to eat

There are various areas to also work or take a phone call in the lobby areas and areas that are in each floor The conference area is easily accessible and is multifaceted in it’s design The staff is quite amazing for assistance I can’t say enough about this as I was a sighted person attending a conference for the American Federation of the Blind leadership Conference The entire organization ensured everything was accessible for attendees and guide dogs They were stellar in their customer service and hospitality with this situation

Very clean and modern rooms Fridges are in the rooms which is always a wonderful thing I love the lighting in the room! Everything is fresh and vibrant! I think the bathroom is a tad small but it has an industrial look so it’s sort of gets away with it

Also it has an Ethernet plug!!! Always a good thing!!! Overall I really enjoy this hotel great customer service and great design! And nice views from the 14th floor

Tonya Walker

My stay has always be amazing! Hotel is close to everything you need and surrounding areas– National Harbor, mall, monument

etc The front desk, security, other staff and valet attendants treat you with respect with great member service My recent stay was June 29- July 1st and it was superb I had a personal, unexpected situation on my behalf and Irene was able to come up and help assist me (in which she did not have to) She checked on me throughout my stay and gave me the most sweetest and genuine wisdom there and at my car during my departure I did not get the valet attendants names but they went beyond my expectations Late night room service (delicious, and flavorful), pool, restaurant inside hotel and near and other hotel amenities are a Plus! I always refer others to stay here Keep doing a terrific job, and providing superb service to your guests You have a loyal member/guest from me and my family Blessings to you all😊❤ See you soon!!

I did not understand why there weren’t any trash bags in the receptacles that were provided in the rooms The room appeared clean and presentable Didn’t interact with any team members except at breakfast on Sunday morning The lady keeping the food stocked did a great job considering there were large groups of people there Sausage was not thoroughly cooked though Would have liked an additional meat alternative like bacon or ham Overall good experience though they location posts challenges for charter buses with large groups I would stay there again for a little less price though Double bed though not Queens

I always stay at Hilton hotels The standards are always very high with the Hilton brand This location did not disappoint

All of the staff was very nice, the hotel was very clean, and the location was perfect Frank at the front desk is one of the nicest people I have ever met in my life His personality is very uplifting, he has this positive energy about him that is like no one I have ever met before I will definitely stay at this property again and will highly recommend it to all of my friends and family

When we arrived at the hotel, the entire lobby was torn up being remodeled This included the breakfast area They had breakfast set up at the Holiday Inn next door, but the communication on where exactly this was, the hours, etc

was extremely poor On the morning we checked out, the elevators down to the lobby were being inspected There were no signs on the elevator buttons in the lobby or on any of the floors After a few minutes of standing there pressing the button and nothing happening, we gave up and carried our suitcases down 6 flights of stairs During the checkout timeframe seems like a really bad time to not have the elevators accessible to guests Thankfully we were able-bodied enough to carry our luggage down the stairs The room itself was nice and updatedI understand that this is all a necessary part of remodeling, but there was no note of these inconveniences on the website when we booked and I’m not sure if the room rates reflected this The biggest complaint we had was the lack of communication surrounding these temporary changes If we would have known about the remodeling in advance, if we had been informed of the changes to the breakfast, and if there were signs posted on the elevators informing us of the inspections going on that made them unusable, it would have eased a lot of frustration

I am a loyal Marriott member, Platinum Elite so far this year Overall this location is great for Convention Center trade showsI ate an omelette for breakfast and it was definitely than I expected for a busy morning service time

Did not try the restaurant for other meal times, but the bar is pretty nice and well run The beer list leaves a little to be desiredMain thing that keeps it from getting five stars is somehow I got placed in a “European” room, which means small bed, small room

I’ve been staying here for years If you stay for a few nights you for sure won’t regret itThis is definitely a four star hotel The staff are amazing They were welcoming and accommodating The room was clean, well appointed and comfortable I had a nice city view on the 8th floor Starbucks is conveniently located on the main level I will definitely be back

The location of the hotel ist great You can reach most attraction in Washington DC per foot The staff at the front desk was friendly

The cleanliness left a lot to be desired Our room was completely forgotten to be cleaned for one day! Instead of a clean room and fresh towels we got a page long detailed letter of apology Does this happen possibly often🤔?

The location is good for tourists if you don’t mind the short walk to the transit station We walked in in daylight and at night with no safety concernsThe hotel itself was undergoing some renovations while we were there

The breakfast area was closed, but it had been moved to the adjoining Garden Inn It was typical Hampton Inn breakfast which is never anything to write home aboutOur room appeared to be recently renovated and was very nice/clean It was not the king bed room I reserved, but we sleep on a queen at home, so no big dealThe staff was very friendly and the shuttle to Reagan Airport was reasonably quick when we called for it They will also check your bags in the hotel if you arrive early or are departing later in the afternoon We found this to be helpful an prevented an early check in charge

We had a great experience with this hotel Our stay was short due to a layover at the airport We got in late, but the shuttle still picked us up

The front desk staff were very nice and accommodated us well This was nice because we had been in airports all day and were very tired We left early that morning and the shuttle didn’t miss a beat in getting us back to the airport on time Great job!

The hotel location was amazing and super close to a lot of DC attractions But was disappointed to find out there was no housekeeping included I was there for three nights and needed housekeeping but not included

Also there is no pool or complimentary breakfast Just a gym Otherwise hotel was clean but in my opinion not worth it for the price Wish I knew about all of this before I booked, I would’ve bought a better hotel for $500 Also hotel parking is $33 a night Ridiculous

Very nice hotel We stay at quite a few Marriott’s, and this is one of our favorites Beautiful open area with a bar, get snacks, and big tables to hang out with friends or coworkers

The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable Everything is exceptionally clean The location is great with plenty of restaurants and other stores within easy walking distance

Brett Heiken

I stay at the Marriott Marquis Washington DC every month and it is always a great experienceThe rooms are updated, have plenty of space, nice bathrooms, a large tv and a comfortable bed The rooms are relatively quiet as well so that you don’t hear neighbors

The M Club lounge has a great breakfast offering, decent coffee and allows me to eat quickly and head to workThe gym is spacious with plenty of natural light unlike some dark, cramped gyms at other hotels The location of the hotel works perfectly for me and is near several good restaurantsMost of all, the staff are wonderful They are knowledgeable, helpful and have gone above and beyond every time I have stayed

Nathaniel Dodds

Brought the family here while attending an on-site business conference The staff is friendly and attentive, which was amazing given the number of conference attendees and guests They made our stay most enjoyable

The rooms are comfortable if not a bit small for a family of four The beds in our room were on the wee-side of being doubles All-in-all, this is a great place to stay for business/conference-oriented visits, however, not so much for family getaways with small childrenFYI: There is a well-appointed fitness center located on the third floor, however, the facility does lack a pool I wish this was more clearly stated on the hotel’s website

I’ve been staying here for a long time If you decide to stay here you for sure will love it I’m sure!Centrally located with an extremely attentive, friendly, and professional staff Rooms were clean, spacious, and there were plenty of towels, water, blankets, etc Kitchen staff are THE BEST! So nice and accommodating, will definitely be back

TC

Centrally located – near many of the city’s attractions, and a good variety of restaurants within walking distance The room was comfortable and the front desk was top notch They even helped us out of a jam – due to our rush to check out we forgot that we had put some cash in the safe until we arrived at another city

Even though I fully expected never to see the money again, I called and they said they would handle it – a week later a check for the money arrived! Five stars just for that kind of honesty

Derek Kruger

Great location for this Marriott The national mall, White House … All within walking distance from this hotel

The restaurants within walking distance are great too The staff were helpful from valet, front desk to bellhops Even a Starbucks in here, even though we prefer Dunkin’ Donuts was still nice to have a “real” coffee shop in the hotel We will definitely be staying here again Tip- worth it to find your own parking garage 1/3 the price

My fiancé and I enjoyed our stay The hotel is renovated and looks very nice The main lobby area looks very fancy 🙂 which I appreciated

The parking is pricey, $28/night! yikes! There is available parking in front of the building but only up to 2 hours for less than $6 However, after 8pm during the weekday and on weekends you can park on the street at no charge No breakfast which is unfortunate, but a quick comparison shows that the surrounding hotels operate the same The staff is great! Everyone is very nice and they greet you right at the door The rooms were clean and the beds are comfortable There was no turn down service :(, we stayed for 3 nights and 2 days, and I am pretty sure there is a cleaning fee Overall, I recommend Sonesta!

Their professionalism and kindness towards our family is and was greatly appreciated We will be returning there for each medical visit that is scheduled in the future that’s for sure

Kudo’s to all for a job well done!

Nikki Quaderer

Great choice for a last minute stay Furniture and bed were starting feel a bit dated/worn and the bathroom was a bit cramped But the space in the room made up for some of that and the staff welcomed us warmly

They had some interesting pamphlets/brochures that weren’t just your typical Washington DC tourist activities as well and the lobby/cafe space was gorgeous!

This hotel was the cheapest we could find near DC which was really nice! We arrived early, but upon check in they had a room availableIt was my birthday, but the lady behind the counter didn’t even say happy birthday, which not a huge deal but when someone says it’s their birthday you normally say happy birthday, but what do I knowThe room was really nice, but I dont know if it’s the pillows or the bed, but doesn’t sleep all that great

Parking is 40$ which I found to be a lot of money and considering we are members of Marriott, maybe a discount or something?Good location tho 👌
