Very, very nice hotel! Impeccably clean Beautiful lobby with fire pit and restaurant Shampoo, conditioner, body wash were very fragrant and were wall mounted so no need to ask for extra of the tiny little bottles

Two large pools, one indoor and one outdoor with pretty landscaping The front desk staff were super nice and accommodating and kudos to the cleaning staff as well!

Rania Dempsey

The room was fine (but be aware-a double room Is two double beds, not two queens); the pool and fitness room were nice and the hotel iswell located, but the service was not good Staff were not particularly welcoming or helpful at check in and gave us incorrect info about the wedding with which we’d booked a group rate

Due to a reservation issue, we had a different reservation for each night of our two night stay but we were assured we would be in the same room and wouldn’t need to check in/out twice However, after one night we were automatically checked out of our room and our room keys stopped working (with all our belongings still locked in our room) We called the front desk for help and the line rang about 20 times then disconnected with no answer and no assistance Not a huge deal but just an annoyance and staff not super interested in helping

Denver Marriott West is the hotel we always stay at when we come to Denver We bring our two Golden Retrievers We are always treated as family there and our dogs love it

I want to give a shout out to Kelly She was amazing!! Very friendly and took the time to accommodate us and meet our needs Thank you to all of the staff at the front desk, lounge, and cleaning staffthat always make our stay enjoyable

We arrived early Our room was not ready The communication was great to let us know and they were able to hold our bags while we went out to grab lunch

When we returned the employees remembered us and brought our belongings out before we even got up to the counter We had a great conversation with Cherish who I believe is the manager (or one of them) She was super informative, polite, kind, genuine, and clearly put forth amazing efforts to make this hotel the experience it is for us The dedication she has to ensuring every visitor has a great experience was clearly visible and noticed They gave us directions to places without seeming annoyed or like they had 1000 other things to do or other people to help The staff was impressive for a lack of more description Location is great and so many places to walk to from here I would 100% stay here on my next visit Love, love, love the positive energy in this building!!

Miranda G

We loved almost everything about this hotel and we will stay againThe location is excellent! Easy to get to both Denver and places like Red rocks and GoldenOur kitchen wasn’t cleaned or stocked when we got there; stuff was in the fridge from the previous person and crumbs on the table

One glass and no regular coffee Not a huge deal at all Some things in the room could use updating, but still very comfortable and spaciousOur only complaint was the broken pool heater and the breakfast clerk She was too gruff and started removing food the second the clock said breakfast was over We were afraid to ask for refills of milk because she was rather snappy A little customer service training would be helpful for herOtherwise, this a perfect for your family visit to Denver!

Kevin Granato

Definitely the best place to stay if your coming for a vacation So close to everything downtown without the traffic and congestion Located right in the middle of an awesome shopping center with all kinds of restaurants and shops

Perfect if you want to visit downtown every day or take trips to Boulder, Colorado Springs, or the mountains Free breakfast is a plus too! Parking is a little tight, but we never had an issue finding a spot Rooms and staff are great too!

I had a quick business trip and spent 2 days, 1 night holed up at this hotel Location is fantastic as it it near some really nice bars/restaurants I really liked the vibe of the hotel

It is in an historic building and very tastefully decorated My room was very comfortable, loved my big over sized tub, and comfortable climate control Staff was very friendly and doorman very courteous/helpful I will definitely stay here again and recommend

Nero LeGath

Beautiful hotel! The room was very comfortable and we had easy walking access to all of the hot spots downtown I would have given this 5 stars except for the fact that the staff asked us multiple times when coming to grab our keys if we were Door dash food delivery people We are on vacation and dressed casually

Open ended questions such as: ‘what can I help you with?’ would have gone a long way versus assuming we were not guests

Caryn Munnis

Last night was our first stay at The Oxford and definitely won’t be the last! When we checked in and the staff learned it was my birthday they upgraded our room for free! So sweet of them to do that! The room was so nice and roomy with lots of big windows! The bed was super comfy too! All of the employees we met were so friendly! Thank you so much for a great experience!

Staff was excellent Clean hotel Hallway smelled a little funny

Everything was nice overall and clean Good Courtyard I’ve been to some “not so great” Courtyards, everything was nice at this one Short drive to Golden downtown and nearby amenities Santiago’s and Peak donuts are great breakfast items if you don’t make the 930am cutoff for breakfast at the hotel

Jessica Prahl

The rooms were nice and clean The Housekeeping staff was absolutely terrific! Helpful and friendly The front desk was not present most of the time unless you would call for them

At that time she was unable to provide us with any of the help we needed There was also no parking available in either this one or the Marriott next door and after asking twice what we could do we were finally instructed to park in a tow away zone with a frustrated response of “well they usually don’t get towed”The complimentary breakfast isn’t served on weekends due to “short staff” at this location so instead we were told to go the the Marriott next door Here there were two front desk ladies There was barely any food provided and this was right after it started Half the items were out including juice and coffee The wonderful lady working in that area was friendly and apologetic and had to deal with many frustrated customers The two ladies at the front desk didn’t bother to help as she ran around trying to keep what little was there stockedA simple overlook, such as no syrup when their were waffles served, no butter, and no juice or coffee when the staff knew that two hotels would be eating at one locationIt is understandable that their is short supply on certain items and delivery times are not always exact in these days, but when we are paying the prices that we are for these hotels I think a simple run to a local grocery store for syrup and butter from the hotel manager would have been warrantedI feel bad for the staff there that works so hard with little support

Sumflower M

The girl at the front desk last night was just so so sweet She deserves some sort of accolades or something for her kindness of the phone and in person She had friendly jokes when I was in a very dire situation

And when I got there she was just as kind Thank you so much (I am truly apologetic for not remembering your name or much at all) After 4-wheeling all day (since 5am) at 10pm she gave me one of the last few rooms available You were so sweet, even with the people who were really impatient before me in line thank you 🙏 thank you 😊

I could say nothing bad about this hotel The service is excellent and compares to no other The staff is friendly, always smiling, and very helpful

The meeting space is elegant and the food quality during the meetings was the best that I can remember having I experienced a medical issue while staying here and all of the staff showed compassion and empathy for my situation The beds were comfy and room was spacious with a great view of Downtown Denver I’ll definitely be back to stay here in the future

Nataleigh Maestas

I love this hotel Most of my clients stay here and we have great seating and places to meet They do not have many vegan options and will put a olive with blue cheese in your martini, beware! I left my earbuds on the bar (the martinis are great)

Noticed, I had forgotten them and quickly called Spoke to the front desk who told me they found them Thank god, they are quite expensive Front desk said they would have them at the desk with my name When I returned they were nowhere to be found They took my name and said they will call if they find them I just find it disappointing that they would (in their care) get stolen Just glad it was not jewelry Be careful…

My husband and I came to Denver for a getaway this past weekend and booked at the Ritz The staff at the front desk were extremely pleasant and helpful, but that was really to the extent of where we felt they excelled When you walk in, there isn’t a grand lobby or even really a lobby at all

There’s the restaurant to your left, a staircase, and then the “check in” area to your right Upon check in, we went directly to the elevator and up to our very average room The size was nice, but everything else was just average for any nicer hotel The wooden end tables looked worn and had some chips The table by the chaise had water rings all over it, the tub was tiny and again, it was just really average I was expecting more Elways was a nice restaurant with nice staff, and we enjoyed having a few drinks in there prior to heading out for dinner Overall, the location wasn’t in a bustling part of town and the hotel was in sort of a random spot and hard to find at first We were supposed to be there for 3 nights and ended up checking out and heading to a different hotel in Cherry Creek – that ended up being far more upscale and half the price I would not stay here again

Zeina Davis

My husband and I stayed here for a quick weekend getaway and we loved it! We enjoyed walking to vibe coffee shop and all the sites of Denver The staff was very friendly and I just have to shout out Julie in the spa She really went above and beyond to make my husband and I feel so welcomed and pampered! We are a Platinum rewards member and felt it! Our room was upgraded and we received early and late check in and out

We will definitely be back!

In town for a small business event with catering and was blown away by the warm welcome and over the top accommodation for my dietary challenges They made some amazing dishes– main course, special desserts, even drinks just for me so that I would not be left out In addition to suiting my allergies, they were completely delicious and beautiful

Rooms are spotless and every detail was attended to Confused by some knocks at my door in the early afternoon, only to find they were trying to bring me more chocolates and coffee Wonderful stay– highly recommend it for vacation or events in the Denver area

Livie

Service was really great, but in our first room, there was blood in the sheets and our room wasn’t vacuumed The front desk person was real nice about letting us switch out promptly and we were placed in a much better room Breakfast was really great and included a full bar

However, the homeless population tend to spend the night in the area Like heavily I was super worried about my car since I was traveling with a packed back seat However, no harm done once I got there, thank God!

Holly Hester

I don’t often put up reviews but if I could give this a 0 star review I would do so I highly recommend never staying at this location, especially if you have kids We were in the area for a youth sports event and our group had booked multiple rooms

Upon arriving at the hotel there were some homeless people attempting to sell a bicycle and it was impossible to park in the check in lane Upon entering the hotel, we were greeted by another member of our group that had already been switched rooms due to their original room being dirty On our way up to our room we were greeted by a STRONG smell of fish and the room did not smell much better An additional family in our group stepped off of the elevator to witness a drug exchange happening This is not a place you want to bring your families Our group switched hotels due to safety concerns with the youth, we were told to call the manager Monday regarding refunds One member has spoken to the manager who refuses to refund any money I cannot get the manager to call me back and not only do I have the original charge on my card, I have an additional fee that has been charged We literally only sat our belongings in our room, we did not occupy the room or use the facilities in them Beware that this is not a safe location

Pat Changa

It’s the first time that a Holiday Inn will not pass my standards I wonder what is going on here A bunch of kids are running this place, meet in the morning to have breakfast which is served 3x a week to late to the guests

This was a business trip for us and we arrived in the afternoon around 4pm Right away we noticed the messy front yard and the weeds Nobody took care at all around the building Several hoods of some trucks and cars stood open, as it was allowed to work on your car in the back of the parking lot Than we walked inside Nobody was behind the reception, therefore the person who prepared the food, restocked the coffee – explained that no one is available yet to give us the room keys and match the payment choiceAbout 30min later we finally were officially greeted and received our keys to the room Definitely not what we expected Not proper vacuumed, dirty toilet bowl and greasy finger prints all around the furniture in the room Loud at night, gated but it felt unsafe Tweakers came up to the main doors and asked for cigarettes and being rude This building needed a security, but no security guard available Definitely not going to be one more night for us Even after complaining at the reception to the morning staff, we haven’t received any apology Btw, we haven’t even received proper points for our stay What a shocking experience Somebody needs to step up here, probably a management issue, or most likely an owner issue

Rachel McQuestion

My room was large, spacious, and cozy The only problem I had is that my AC did not actually get the room cold, but it was cool enough for me to sleep comfortably The rest of the hotel is maintained beautifully and they were very helpful with any requests

Location is very close to so many things making downtown Denver extremely walkable

Impressive Stuff

The lobby area was nice and spacious, but my room was rather basic for the price I paidStaff were very friendly! There was a pool but only two lanes Hot tub on the terrace was no where to be found – I followed the sign but the door was locked even during opening hours (after 5am)

This hotel still supplies shower gel and shampoo, etc in small plastic bottles, which is very plastic intensive and not environmental I think this should be changed to refilled bottles on the wall like many other hotels have done

Truman Groves

This is a fantastic hotel Stay here every time I am in Denver, and I will continue to stay here every time I am in DenverAmazing service, great amenities, comfortable rooms, and a wonderful location

I’ve been here for two weeks The kitchen is nice, but the kitchen equipment is quite inadequate The furniture in the room is quite old

Unfortunately, we had to kill a few insects Cleaning is done once a week and it is very insufficient It’s nice to have a washing machine, but the dryers don’t work well and one of them ripped my t-shirtOther than that, the location is good The rooms are large

bob w

Everything was nice The suite was nice

It was comfortable, clean All that good stuffBUT!!!! We stayed there for a week when it was around 100 degrees, and the AC was on a motion detector Leave at 9am, come back at 8 or 9 or 10pm and its 96 degrees in the room, and the AC didn’t kick on until you walked inIt took until about 6am for the AC to get it down to comfortable If I do it again, I’m bringing something that moves all day I didn’t get a good night sleep there at all Hot sticky and miserable No motion, fine, then reset it to 80 or even 85 Don’t turn it off completely

ShamanSkye

Honestly, there were a few concerning issues during this stay with the hotel itself and unfortunately they go through a lot workers on every level But, I would stay there if I had too again The (GM) Nicki, no matter what was going on with her personal or professional life, be it good or bad she was always professional and was more than willing to help you and your concerns even if you yourself were not in your most professional way with her😉 I gave this hotel 5 star’s mostly because of the compassion that both Nicki (GM) and Kim (Sales) have for other’s especially during a pandemic and with so much uncertainty and already cruelness in this World, I am happy that there are still good people along one’s journey🙏😇🙏 Stay Safe & Blessed, Everyone💫

Staff here have been nothing but kind and respectful I am in town to see my Father who is transitioning to ‘senior’ living From Kimberly at the front desk that greeted me on my arrival to Patrick

just exceptional staff who are great listeners Their compassion for me makes the place feel like home and the accommodations were exactly what I needed Prices right now (everywhere) are a bit too high for my liking, but I will try to address this with their sales and management (Thank you Jessica!) I have to stay in town another week, and I cannot see staying at another location The people staffed here have really made the stay a real joy I can’t see staying at any other location in Arvada when I come back this Fall

We really didn’t use any specific service It was basically a night stay, pool n hot tub for 30min relaxation after boys soccer game, then home after an 8am gameThe hotel was very clean, it looked very new so i hope they are able to keep it this way

Daniel S

This is my first time ever writing a 1 star review I am not happy at all with my 200 dollar stay last night at the Hilton Garden Inn and will never ever be back I was staying there as a weekend getaway with my son

He’s been doing great in school and I wanted to treat him to a night away and a movie and steak at Texas Roadhouse across the street from the hotelIt felt like it was going to be a great night until we checked in the room When we walked in, First the room smelled super foul Almost like stagnant smoke from someone previously smoking in it (eventhough it was, according to them, a 100% smoke free floor) The room was fairly small for the price I paid for it The pool and spa were extremely disappointing I was surprised they were that small Then to top it all off, some lady pulled the fire alarm at 240 in the morning My son was terrified and really thought the building was on fireNeedless to say we weren’t going back to sleep It was too late at this point So much for our weekend getaway I worked so hard to get my kid the weekend off like that I’m not loaded with cash and actually worked a ton of overtime the previous weeks to make this happen When I called about the incident at 10:00 o clock in the morning I was told it was a medical emergency and the lady left in an ambulance None of that was true We were in the lobby when the police were talking to her She pulled the alarm cause she was stressed I watched the ambulance drive away while the police were talking with her We paid extra for breakfast for the next morning and everythingI’m not the type of person to ask for compensation but when I’ve worked that hard to make this special for my kid, and I get shut down and lied to, disappointed in the staff and size of their rooms, unfair price Everything just kind of added up and now I’m more angry then anything I just want my money back at this point I don’t think I’ll ever stay at any other Hilton Garden Inns again

I will never be staying at another hotel while visiting Red Rocks every again It made getting to and from the venue so incredibly easy The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure we had any questions answered and were comfortable

The rooms are massive and honestly if I could just live in one, I would There is a great restaurant on location too called Nomad—the bartenders were such a blast, drinks were amazing and food was even better They make sure to have burritos ready for you after you return from shows too There is a nice gas station just right across the way, a couple of restaurants and a brewery You don’t have to go far to enjoy your stay Seriously, this place is incredible Can’t wait to be back!

Clayton Ormsby

A fantastic hotel that provided the best experience I could imagine A perfect place to set up base for experiencing Red Rocks Amphitheatre, with a very handy shuttle bus service door to door Caitlin and her team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and right at home at Origin Hotel Red Rocks

We felt welcome The receptionist was very friendly There is a nice sitting area in front of the reception where we could sit with our guest

Coffee and tea available the whole day around We didn’t use the pool but it looked invitingThe room, as well as the bathroom, was nice, spacious and superclean Coffeemaker with coffee and chocolate drink available in the roomThe breakfast was good

Great and convenient location, very quiet area and felt safe Close to downtown Denver The two gentlemen at the front desk were attentive and friendly

Rooms seemed cleaned, beds and pillows were comfortable Breakfast was the usual continental breakfast; breakfast area was kept fully stocked and clean Pool is outdoors and appeared well maintained The only issue is that we had our “do not disturb” on the door and a male attempted to enter our room while my daughter was taking a shower He didn’t even knock prior, just used his master key and opened the door, didn’t announce himself prior to entering…no kind of warning whatsoever Luckily, I was standing in the bathroom so I was able to stop him immediately He just said sorry and left I was just confused as to why he was entering because 1) our “do not disturb” was on the door handle, 2) when we checked in the evening prior, the gentleman at the front desk stated the room would not be serviced unless we specifically requested 3) there’s even a sign on the bathroom mirror stating the rooms would not be serviced unless specifically requested or if you were staying more than X amount of days/nights, which we were not

We were in town for a race and had a delightful stay Our race started before the complimentary breakfast, so we were given free granola bars the night we arrived, and before flying out we were even able to fit in a hike after check out with multiple free water bottles while the staff watched our luggage In addition, we felt very welcomed and the staff was incredibly kind and generous

One of our best hotel experiences!

This is one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed at! The history and the elegance are wonderful The front desk staff are professional, kind and responsive The room was surprisingly quiet given the noise in the atrium below

Why then only a 3 star review?: we were scheduled for 12 noon check-out On check-out day, the first knock at the door by housekeeping was 9:36 am After being awoken, I rushed to the door and informed the staff of a 12 noon check-out At 11:00 am, a housekeeping staff knocked and then entered our room before we could even respond to the knock! At 12 noon, we again experience a knock at the door as we left For this fine of a hotel, I expect better

We really enjoyed our stay at the Crawford Jane helped us with check in and check out and she was amazing! She made us feel really welcome and was genuinely nice, not that fake customer service nice you usually get with people Nick and Elroy at the valet also made our stay really enjoyable! They were always polite, personable, and we enjoyed our conversations with them while waiting for our vehicle

The hotel staff was very personable, genuine, friendly, professional and kind When we checked in, Mallory made observations and commented on then to strike friendly conversation and her service was efficient The rooms were clean and very comfortable

We slept good, though they’re were indents from the mattress use The housekeepers said good morning to us, and told us to take our time They just wanted us to know they were next door so there might be some noise We are breakfast on the restaurant and man oh man were those pancakes with molasses butter quite divine! The buffet was good and the food tasted fresh There was no fruit Highly recommend the pancakes We will be back another time I would refer this hotel to my closest friends and family Thank you for your hospitality, service, and extension to make us welcome

I love this hotelAs an architect I find the building an absolute treasure Classic and memorable in every respect

An amazing atrium – the first of its kind High tea is a good experience in the lofty space of the stained glass atrium ceiling Walk around and look closely at the detailed of the building The staircase is amazing – complete with a line showing where you’ve reached 5,380 feet about sea level Staying at the Brown is an annual affair For me it is the experience of the lobby / atrium Love itYo be fair…the restaurants are a non event Eat elsewhere Great food is to be found in Denver in small, mom and pop ethnic restaurants

Alexandra Bala

The brown palace is beautiful The historical elements are amazing and fantastic The staff was friendly and extremely helpful

The central air in our room was not working, so the ceiling fan was quite loud and it was either really hot or really cold, no in between Overall, I had a good experience We loved that they had complimentary champagne for our anniversary That was very surprising and unexpected so we really enjoyed our anniversary trip down there Overall I would return!

Kristin O’Brien

Amazing place Beautiful, historic building Staff is very helpful

Rooms were more spacious and updated than expected The shower heads in 704 and 843 were not good – showering was difficult The restaurants on site are unbelievably good Afternoon tea is an experience just to watch! Conveniently located within Denver for downtown restaurants and bars Next time, I’ll think to book the spa in advance!

We were driving across country and got into Golden, CO kinda late, there was a concert that weekend so all the hotels were booked Danielle, who is a rockstar!! Went above and beyond to get us our rooms She is wonderful and we are so thankful for her

The rooms were great, breakfast was great and we got to get a good night sleep, thanks to Danielle, otherwise we probably would have had to sleep in the car Thank you so much!

Kerri F

The hotel breakfast was not as advertised or as expected There was NO hot breakfast as it was only continental My family had chosen to stay at this hotel brand specifically for the fantastic hot breakfast during our cross country vacation

This was not advertised and I learned that this was due to staff shortage I should have chosen a less expensive hotel where I could get a continental breakfast rather than paying more for this hotel Very disappointed I spoke with a hotel employee who said a manager would contact me and so far I have not been contacted

Kevin wells

I usually always choose to stay at holiday Inn express This holiday Inn was the worse one I have ever stayed The main light was out in the bathroom so it was very hard to see

There was black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom The Hotel had no electricity for half the night, I sleep with a c-pap so i didn’t get any sleep The next morning there was no hot water when I took a shower I notified Christie who was working the front desk about the issues, she was rude and unpoligetic She offered no solutions to rectify any of the problems I had encountered Christie was very uninterested in anything I told her I will never stay there again and recommend that no-one else does either There is a Hampton Inn next door and I wish I would have chosen to stay there I payed $26800 dollars for this room and I feel like I was ripped off

Poor management, and if you ask for water because there was none in the refrigerator to buy, you might be ok, as long as you’re not interrupting them scrolling through their phone or maybe you’ll get a lecture on the water fountain around the cornerIf you stay here be aware that the exterior lower back door doesn’t close

I Tried to pull it shut but it is bent at the top hinge Even when management is clearly aware (they post signs letting you know not to prop open the door for security reasons) of the broken door How would you know they are aware of the door out back not shutting?? Because this is the door that they exit to take their smoke breaks, including the manager Shown here angrily yelling at me as I’m taking this pictureI’ve stayed here over 50 nights in the last year and half and there has never been a worse person managing this building

I always ask for a room on the top floor because of noise and called again that morning to make sure we were booked on top floor and the clerk said we were When we got there they said they did not have rooms on top floor even though we were reassured that they did It was very loud not just from all the families above us but we were in a room on the second floor that sounded like a jackhammer every time the AC kicked on and it vibrates the pictures on the wall next to my bed

I even had earplugs in and it kept me awake all night It was awful The place was pretty worn and the bathroom door was off the sliding hinge It looked like it had been updated but then it had areas that needed attention like the rusting grab bar in shower Window shades were tattered in areas The breakfast was good which was the only saving grace Pantry items were overpriced It’s a high volume location which caters to a lot of HS sport teams Long lines for check-ins

Stacey Martin

What happened to this hotel? Three years ago it was really nice This stay it was AWFUL Started with check-in

I checked in on the app ahead of time and stated I would arrive at 4pm Room was not ready?!? Then they give us a room that is falling apart The bathroom door wouldn’t close and was off the track, the shower handle fell off, the furniture was torn and the sheets were grayish with dirt on them Then we came back from our cold and wet concert and the lobby was out of coffee, hot chocolate and tea When we and other guests asked for more, the front desk person said he didn’t know where it was and to wait until morning? THEN they charge us for parking in a strip mall/home depot lot We had to park a good distance away because the tiny lot was full We were supposed to stay here again in two weeks but we canceled NEVER AGAIN It apparently needs new management I am going to be writing Hilton and asking for my money back IT WAS GROSS

Alora Borg

When we first checked into the room the blackout curtain was on the ground We were told maintenance would come fix it, which they did We were offered a different room, but our 4 month old baby had just fallen asleep, so why move her over that? After we got settled in we noticed hair on the pillow cases and a tear in the comforter, again, gross, but whatever

The bathroom mirror was busted and looked like it came from the dump The carpet was stained On top of that, at 10:30 at night there was what I’m assuming was a child running on the second floor It was so loud in our room that my baby was having difficulty sleeping I hate to be “that person” but I also don’t want an upset baby because someone else is letting their child run the halls at night, so I call the front desk The guy that answered the phone was extremely rude and said “well I’m checking guests in right now so it’s going to be awhile before I handle it” and hung up the phoneStay at the Holiday Inn right next to the Hampton Don’t waste your time here

Located right on the main drag of the town It has a real charm to it with it’s country western decor and wood cabin feel The front desk staff was really friendly and held our bags while they were getting our room ready

There is a nice deck connected to the restaurant with a great view of the mountain range There is also a river that people tube on that is close to the hotel

Kiva Frey

We actually ate at the hotel restaurant The food wasn’t bad, but the service and vibe felt very rushed and unwelcoming We had planned to come for brunch, but missed it by just a few minutes, no problem

We had wanted to sit on the patio, but were told it would be a 45 minute wait, no problem So we ate lunch in the dining room, which is fairly basic for a hotel restaurant Our server let us know we had to wait a few minutes to order lunch because brunch had just ended OkayLike I said, the food was pretty good, not worth the drive and bad vibes though It wasn’t because we missed brunch or had to sit inside, we were very willing to go along with whatever was available Apparently it was a busy morning and someone had called in sick (overheard a staff member telling another table) The staff seemed frazzled and overwhelmed Nowadays businesses are lucky any staff show up for their shifts at all We appreciate the ones that do I don’t have any answers, except that we learned not to show up towards the end of the brunch shift, the wait staff is worn out

Jordan Baham

We were attending a wedding event at the Rose Event Center and the Golden Hotel was perfectly located for us On top of that, we were able to bring our dog so we didn’t have to find a dog-sitter The Golden is a lovely hotel located right next to Golden main street and Clear Creek

The rooms are cozy/clean and the staff is friendly and helpful Parking was very easy
