We really like this chain of all suite extended stay however the Wichita location was lacking No ice machine, ice maker in fridge not working, had non stop trouble with keys both on room door and exterior door Front desk staff seemed unable/unwilling to do much

Asked for a receipt, printer wasn’t working, so requested an email receipt, 3 days later, so don’t have one No utensils in kitchen, only had 2 pots and 2 coffee cups but nothing to actually cook withBed and pillows were comfy and shower water pressure was amazing

Tracy Williams

Staff very friendly, clean, all the amenities are GREAT! COMPLETE SET UP includes darling kitchen needs nothing, pots, pans, silver, dishes, cups, paper towels, soap to do dishes, dishwasher, laundry facilities Plus an array of things you can check out such as forgotten items one may need

gamesmoviesbooks place is somewhat dated but to have everything right there and be able to cook or make popcorn ha! lived the stay and have been twice Will be back!

The hotel is easily accessible from I35 as I was traveling through the area I felt safe as a solo traveler The room was clean and breakfast a typical Hampton Inn breakfast buffet

My only disappointment was that there was not a refrigerator in the room It was my fault for not taking note of this as I made the reservation prior to my stay

Usually super clean, decent breakfast, and friendly staff We’ve stayed at least a dozen times at this location Occasionally there’s something that needs helped, but that happens everywhere

All in all A safe bet for staying in wichita Close to the highway A gas station A bank Food And no residential area too close for it to be a bad neighborhood

Sarah Sikes

To say this needs a full renovation is an understatement Dark, dreary, and overall just sad It’s clean enough, but when it’s that old nothing looks clean

Much smaller than pictures appear Area quite sketchy I literally watched a young man dig through the dumpster at the Fairfield for food I did not feel safe I cannot speak to the service as I checked in and out via the app and overall all of the aforementioned issues are completely outside of the staff’s control

Draya and the front end manager offered amazing customer service All of the staff we encountered were nice and professional Our rooms were clean and my family of five slept comfortably for the weekend! They also offered one of the best free breakfasts we’ve had! Not to mention and overall nice facility! If you’re a large family staying in Wichita, I’d highly recommend

Dedhra Starr

If you decide to stay here and have an issue don’t expect the general manager Stephanie Sparlen or Head of housekeeping Ms Lorie to assist They will dismiss you when you call about staff not turning in items, they will hang up on you, they will make up details when Guest relations investigates and will down right lie

Pray you don’t have to encounter them

If you’re looking to take a large group or travel team to this hotel- I’d pass We were asked to leave the pool at 9:30 (they close at 10:00) We were also asked to leave the lobby while eating pizza at 9:30

We asked for a late checkout, but had housekeeping enter our room without knocking around 10:00am Not to mention, no alcohol can be consumed in the lobby I feel that some may prefer this, but as someone who prefers my pizza with a beer, I would have appreciated the notice

So many things just within walking distance of this hotel Seriously, there are multiple restaurants, a great ice cream stop, an Indoor Entertainment business called The Alley, and grocery stores all in the same Plaza Lively area during the weekend, but not so much that you can’t get around without bumping into people

Rooms however, there was a mixup with us reserving two kings and ending up either two queens, big bummer but we didn’t ask for a resolution since service was so friendly The heater in our room tended to decide what it wanted to do on it’s own and for some reason, really preferred to give us cold A/C rather than heating So, thermostat was also a huge thumbs down for making nights colder than weather was actually outside We all reported scratchy bed sheets and covers, recommend having your own just in case Altogether, breakfast bar was seriously worth the morning visit! Not just a couple fruits and a cereal bar It really had the works and it felt like a lot of options Enjoyed our stay

Tyler Miles

Customer Service was fine, but everything else was terribleThe hotel from the outside looked rundown and outdated The room was decent in appearance, but had issues

The sink drain was broke, cable had issues, bathroom was dirty Aside from that the pool heater was broken, the laundry room was closed for repairs and the pool room was disgusting!!The worst part was I reached out via email to the hotel to try and get some answers and no one has had the curiosity to reply to meDo yourself a favor and find a new hotel Don’t waste your money at this place

Daniel Piraino

Perfect for pilots who are training at FSI 👍🏻Extremely close to the Flight Safety facility (minutes away) however the hotel does not offer a viable shuttle service to those facilities so make sure you get a rental car!Nice little indoor pool and a decent workout room with nice treadmill 👍🏻👍🏻

This hotel was one of the best stays I’ve had The hotel is clean and staff is waiting to greet you upon entering While the hotel is relatively close to the highway, there was little to no noise from it

The rooms and lobby are modern and well thought out The lobby is spacious, and the restaurant has a delicious breakfast buffet and cooked-to-order items Highly recommend Wish I could’ve stayed longer but only needed the hotel for an overnight stay

Dale MacKinney

Had a conference here Is very nice, I think newly remodeled I saw a couple of for jams that had been missed in the painting, but the room was very nicely remodeled

The area we used for the conference was excellent, and the staff was very helpful The pool was also very nice It’s a crossover indoor to outdoor when it’s open It was early May and the outdoor was still closed when we were there Looked like a nice restaurant inside as well although I didn’t eat there

I was super excited to have a relaxing little getaway to celebrate my birthday with my husband I could see a lot of potential for a good stay, but this particular trip was a disasterWe couldn’t check in until 6pm

When we finally did get a room, I had to use a towel to sweep and mop the disgusting floor that had piles of mud and dirt swept under the edge of the bed, and sticky spots in various placesThe front desk tried to make it right with a late checkout and $40 food vouchers for a mediocre, overpriced meal that took nearly 2 hours to complete (we never did get our appetizer even though we ordered it twice)While eating dinner, our waitress was terribly condescending, accosting my husband for not handing his Paper menu back quickly enough “this is a fancy establishment sir”, while ten feet away literally dozens of children were running and screaming through the common areas making so much noise my husband and I had to yell to hear each otherIn summary, it was a terribly disappointing birthdayWhile the front desk should be commended for their efforts, it just wasn’t the relaxing experience I expected at MarriottHad to clean my own roomDidn’t have enough towels, robes, etcWasted 4+ hours waitingDozens of loud, unattended children EVERYWHEREI don’t know if I would be willing to pay for this place again

My first time staying here and I was pleasantly surprisedHotel was clean Parking lot, office, hallways, and my room

Front desk staff was pleasant & helpfulMy room had a large tv, microwave, mini fridge, comfortable chair, and iron with board The bed was rather hard, but that was the only thing I stayed a few nights and it was quiet the whole timeThey served a full breakfast every morningThe hotel is in a great location near freeway and shopping

I stayed 7/22/22-7/25/22 Check in was smooth and easy Our first room had a slight problem but Tomi quickly moved us to a different room, no questions asked

No problems with the second room Breakfast had a great variety The hotel was very quiet for as full as it was I always take my own washcloth to wash my face when traveling so I don’t mess up hotels white linens The make up washcloth was a great idea All the staff was very prompt and friendly As a manager at a Radisson in another state I was extremely pleased with this hotels cleanliness and the service we received Will definitely stay here again when I’m return to Wichita

I have stayed at this specific hotel at least 25+ times between school necessity and vacation purposes I have not had any issues staying here, but have noticed that the past 3 months have been a different experience, and after speaking with the staff last night, I will be taking my business elsewhere I live an hour and a half away, and was not able to make it last evening due to illness

I had called Country Inn to let them know, in which they had said that I was never allowed to stay with them again and that my card would be charged because I did not give them 24 hours notice I didn’t think they wanted a sick guest staying in their hotel, potentially exposing others (they do have COVID restrictions and precautions up all over the hotel) After explaining that I was indeed sick and that I was only staying for school, Dylan (whom I spoke with that works the front desk), stated that he would speak with his GM and see about getting me a refund (because they had in fact charged my card during this time) but I would “probably never be able to stay again”I called and spoke to another employee this morning You could tell she didn’t want to speak with anyone right when she answered the phone I asked her about receiving a refund and explained why I had not been able to make it last evening, she put me on hold for 15 seconds, and when she got back on the phone she stated “Yeah my GM said no since you didn’t give a 24 hour notice” I understand the policy but I believe there are certain circumstances where this should not apply, such as illness, weather, etc I have given this hotel my business many of times and wouldn’t expect this terrible customer serviceWhen I first started staying often back in August, there were different staff that were pleasant and helpful, and ever since around November-December and so on, there has been different customer service I have spoken with the GM, and a few front desk employees when I have checked in lately and they are okay to speak to in person and seem to be decent, but after the experiences over the phone, this is not a place I would recommend any longer

Here 5 weeks and told how deep clean with linen changes every 7 days This only happened once and assist manager changed sheets once He is great

When I talked with manager he assured me he would take care of it I stay in hotels at least 9 months a year I mark things to tell if cleaned Sheets are easy to tell if fresh or notManager still hasn’t seen that my room gets clean I have 3 more weeks and never staying here again I also stopped eating breakfast when I noticed food sets in containers for hours after breakfast done

Haider Raza Bangash

1The front desk staff was rarely available at the place2 Due to covid policy the room was to be made after 7 days I stayed for 10 days and the bed linen was not changed and the reason was that staff for house keeping is not available3 Dirty towels which were not changed for 10 days despite several requests4The breakfast time was from 6 to 9 am and when i came for breakfast at 7 :30 am everything used to be finished except for coffee They would not replenish later and most of the guests were left without it

I booked this hotel being part of the prestigious Marriot chain but am highly disappointed due to the above reasons I would not recommend this hotel for stay to any friend

This is a new experience for me with this hotel The rooms are smaller and designed for what you would actually use it, to sleep They have several areas around the lobby that you can use to socialize or relax

They have a business lounge for office workers for those that need to work Loved the outdoor pool, giving one the ability to get some sun and swim The workout/ ” Recovery Room” was nice, but the setup is not great for those who love morning workouts The sun, beating down through the window with no low-e coating made it very hot, driving the temperature up to 78 and even 79 by the time I left In the shared pic you can see the temp was set at 68, but you could not even feel the air coming from the vents For a place that says that they take pride in cleaning, they failed to clean the bars and dumbbells as you can see with the dirty towel when I cleaned the ones I used This is actually why I dropped it down to 4 stars on top of the hot “Recovery Room” They do offer free coffee in the mornings, but they charge for breakfast items I would suggest that you go to a restaurant because $5 for a Jimmy Dean sausage and biscuit that you have to microwave is insane If you like the free hot breakfast offered at other places, then this place is not for you If you like an inexpensive place to sleep and enjoy a wonderful outdoor pool and patio for sun bathing along with a great bar and social seating area indoors and outdoors with a gas fireplace, then go here and enjoy yourself If they fix the sun problem in the “Recovery Room” with some type of blinds or something and keep the weights clean, it would be worth a 5 star rating

Despite a few minor flaws in the hotel property itself we enjoyed a short 2 night stay mostly thanks to the incredibly hard working Jennifer Sheffield! This young lady went well above & beyond to help us with any question or request we had She was there upon our evening check in & then again back at the front desk early morning with a smiling face and willingness to help make our stay as comfortable as possible She alone is the reason we rate this stay & property 5 stars! Thank you Jennifer for your amazing customer service & dedication, we truly appreciated all you did for our family 🙂

Fay Hutchinson

Pros: bed is comfortable, staff was friendly Cons: broken safe, booked a king size but was given a room with 2 queens because there were no clean rooms with king size beds, the lighting is not good, the toilet was running, pool was closed, and the paint job is awful None of these cons really impacted my stay but they might for other guests

It is clear they are doing some remodeling The name if the hotel has changed to Comfort Suites Rooms are very spacious & could use more furniture such as a sofa sleeper

Handicap room on 1st floor was big but didn’t appear to be updated yet There was a gash in the bathroom door & the sink didn’t have a bottom It was open with a towel wrapped around the piping The lobby, pool & breakfast are have been remodeled & look great

Jordan Nelson

Overall a good experience It appears to be an old hotel building that’s been remodeled a lot It feels nice and new and old and not nice at the same time

Some of it is just cosmetic Feels a little bit like a lipstick on a pig situation At least that’s what I felt at first However, it really was a good experience overall and excellent for the price Service was great and everything adequate Booked through Hotwire and it was VERY cheap

Lynette Anderson

This was a very quiet hotel It seemed to be far enough off the freeway to alleviate that road noise, but also seems well insulated from other outside noise We couldn’t hear any room neighbors, either, but weren’t sure how close any other guests were to us

Bed was comfortable, though linens were a bit rough The room was clean as was the bathroom The internet worked well in room 103 Staff was very friendly I would definitely stay here again

It’s unfortunate how terrible my 4 night stay actually was The Customer Experience was horrendous! There was one woman working the front desk the first night we arrived and she was excellent and very nice, but beyond that the staff was rude We were told to move or get out of the lobby multiple times for sitting and chatting quietly

The first night, we went to Target to buy a fresh pillow and blankets The bathroom had mold around the tub and had hair and dirt on the floor The hallway/guest room carpet was disgusting and needs to be replaced with new flooring The AC was inconsistent throughout the hotel and extremely loud in the roomThe pool was closed the 1st day we were here for being cloudy and than they opened it and the chlorine level was so strong your eyes burned My kids eyes were red and swollen for hours after swimming for 30 minutesI honestly am so disappointed and dissatisfied by this hotel

The staff was friendly The rooms in terms of aesthetics and decor is very average I wouldn’t stay here from Thursday night to Saturday night

Lots of youth athletic teams which means lots of kids literally running in the halls and up and down the stairs playing tag and such Nearly impossible to get to sleep at a decent hour especially if you have to work the next day I wouldn’t stay here again unless I could be gone before Thursday night

I enjoy staying here There are plenty of food options within walking distance of the hotel It’s conveniently located next to Target and Cabela’s

If you like walking, there’s a walking path behind the hotel that goes on foreverThe staff is friendly and is happy to serve you Rooms are clean with plenty of hot water

Came into town for my sick husbands appointment and checked in a little after 3 We were told they were short staffed and we would have to wait for a bit for it to get cleaned No problem, we had a few things to do and we could kill a few minutes

I assumed they had someone on the room and it would be soon Came back to the hotel and went to the room around 3:20 to find it open and no one in it cleaning, no problem still, they must be working on it, it’s ok Sat out back with my husband while we waited and tried to kill some time An hour later I went to check on the progress and the room is exactly the same and not a person in sight Went to ask the front desk about this and they went to talk to housekeeping They came back and said housekeeping is getting someone on it I understand staff shortage, but it was clear we wanted in the room and it didn’t seem to be a priority, wouldn’t have been so bad except my husband is Ill and really needed a place to lie down I feel like something could have been done, switched us to another room or got on our room when we first tried to check in

Rooms are nice and decent sized Be ready to travel some long distance to your room We checked in and our room was on the 3rd floor, last room at the end of the hall

What a mess Not good for the kiddo’s The pool is out of the way of the main hall though which was nice Breakfast had a large variety Once we figured out how to get around and not drag kids half a mile to swim, eat, or go to the car it was a decent stay! Next time we need to stay it will have to be kid free!

Well normally everything is great Went on our anniversary , the bathroom shower was filthy, I took pictures and I also notified staff and corporate They got back to me right away and very apologetic

I know after covid and all they are short handed but you want a clean shower They made it right for me Other than that it has always been a nice fun place to go visit

This hotel was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in There was alot of hair in the shower drain just sitting there in a clump The bathroom & room were extremely unsatisfactory

Hand prints all over the glass and mirror Floors and hadn’t been swept or vacuumed The tv had a huge smear of sticky stuff and was dirty as well If it hadn’t been so late to would have left immediately I slept in my clothes with a tiny blanket I broughtSo many issues with this room The staff is also very confused on basic tasks Never again

Chose this location as I knew I’d be tired on arrival and wanted easy access to a restaurant and the highway Check in went smoothly and as expected My room appeared clean although I discovered pieces of candy and food under the desk making me question how hard they worked to clean and sanitize the room

Extremely strange was the fact that for my “convenience” I needed to go downstairs to the lobby if I wanted a drinking glass (see image) Additionally the drain in the bathtub wouldn’t stay open meaning you needed to finish your shower before the tub filled up Small things but I do expect not to go searching for a plastic glass in the lobby

Loved the stay here! I checked for dirty places or linen before making myself comfortable Everything was amazing! Everyone was awesome The older gentleman working the cafeteria on the weekends was amazing and very helpful

I didn’t catch his name 😔 I put 5 stars for mostly everything and very well deserved except, when I asked the cleaning lady in Spanish if she could put some clean towels and refill the shower gel in the room while they were cleaning the rooms and responded with “yeah ok I will!” Gracefully even repeated the room number! When we got back in the room that night, she didn’t do what she said she was going to do! I hope she just forgot the room number! I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt I guess 😒 Stayed 3 nights! They sure do great ignoring the room when it has the DO NOT DISTURB sign! ☺😅 Wichita was great!oh gotta recommend the SALTGRASS steak house! The cheese cake was like no other! Trust me!!! Also the Popcorner was a delight! And the Casino was Amazing! We won $200 🤙
