Hotel is nice looking and has a nice pool etc was having a great stay until I found bed bugs in my king bed (or what appears to be some form of bed bug)!!! Will never return here again and I highly recommend not coming here or if you do always check every inch of your bed!! Beware!! Will definitely be spreading the word to the rest of my company who very frequently gives lots of business to this place!!

Overall my stay was comfortable When I needed rest I was able to sleep Only thing that was uncomfortable was in the bathroom

The shower needs work, I believe I was in room 204 The shower also needed cleaning I understand turnaround time, as I was once a housekeeper for a hospital, but I saw a housekeeper cleaning a room and asked for more towels and never received them

We recently spent a week at this hotel while visiting Phoenix The suites were clean and roomy and included a nice kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, stove top and microwave along with dishes and glasses in the cupboards The variety of the free breakfast offered was outstanding, changing the main entrees each morning

The outdoor pool was heated which was great in the evenings The best part of our stay though was the people The workers at the breakfast buffet were extremely friendly even taking time to come out to the dining area to chat with us and our grandkids The workers at the front desk always greeted us each time we either left or entered the hotel An added bonus to this hotel location is all the restaurants and shops that Happy Valley has to offer I highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be staying here on our next visit

I really like this hotel, very welcoming and seemingly sincere in their desire to serve Kelly at the front desk, Jody and Raymond who make breakfast in the mornings – so welcoming and genuine It makes me smile to call the hotel and still hear Michele’s voice

She was great too I haven’t had too much experience yet with Heidi, but my impression of her is positive too Highly recommended : )

I couldn’t find less than one star My brother in law is a Marriott employee therefore I have stayed in over a hundred different Marriott franchises This was by far my worst experience

I was awaken by bugs crawling on my arm at midnight The employee on duty did offer me another room, but after not being able to go back to sleep I decided to check out and sleep in my car The employee on duty did apologize and stated the manager may try and contact me once he arrived in the morning Room number 409 needs to be exterminated immediately Maybe even the adjoining rooms as well This was my first and hopefully last time seeing an actual bed bug

What a refreshing change in a hotel experience Affordable, and part of the Choice Hotel chain From the lobby, the lobby restaurant bar, to the rooms Choice did it right

Great customer service at check inWe had a kind bed, which was super comfortable The room was set up in a configuration to give us a view out the window from the bed I love thatThe Bluetooth bathroom mirror was a hit, as well as the floating bed effect with the lightingThe location is perfect to reach 11 soccer fields and being across the street from a mall shopping center was convenientUnfortunately we were here for soccer so not a lot of time spent in the room or at the hotelThe room was cleanThank you for getting rid of the gross hotel carpeting! The vinyl flooring was a welcome change to the usualWe will stay at a Cambria again

Amazing location! Even though the freeway is right outside, once you walk in this building you have no idea it’s there And from one room to another you can’t hear the rest of the building so you have quiet! I slept like I was on a cloud and all the staff have been amazing Great bar, restaurant, pool and other amenities

Will definitely be coming back here!

Stacy David

Location was perfect due to being where we needed it to be for medical/dental appointments Plus very near by is grocery and clothing stores and tons of places to eatAll the staff were very nice and helpful

I was disappointed that for a newish place there was so many broken things For example the handheld shower head was just hanging since the holder was broken, a hold in the couch and at least a half dozen spots in the floor that has lifted so when you walk on it, it makes a noise However everything appears clean and smells nice so I was happy with what I got and have no major complaints

Room was clean however it was under renovation and the bathtub was very slippery, and the hand rail was in an awkward place Location was good Breakfast was really good and the coffee was excellent

Check in was good & they were pleasant I made a second reservation with the young man when I checked out, he tried, even gave me a confirmation number, however when I checked on the reservation the next day, they didn’t have it & didn’t know what happened to it Very disappointing

Mike Rosenboom

Your employee told us twice we would not be charged for the night we didn’t stay there And you rented our room to another party that night Making double money

And the 3rd party Hotelcom Said you have the ability to refund the money for the night we stayed there Fact is we were told twice we would not be charged by your employee and that was not the case

This review is for the RV storage side of the business The storage clients are an after thought at best Although they talk about things like RV dump and water, the truth is the services are only available if they decided not to rent their last spot

Their number one priority is renting every space and if there’s no space available you have nowhere to dump your black tank or get fresh water This is extremely problematic if you’re counting on this service as advertised to dump your tanks when you come back from a trip This left us in a very bad situation more than once very best situation more than once We switched to a local lot in the anthem/desert hills area that provides dump and water services

Heidi Befort

This was our 3rd time here, for a total of 4 months We arrived, checked in and then when we were being escorted to our spot, they decided they couldn’t put us there because we had a trailer even though I told them that So they ended up putting us in spot #1

First thing, residents would pull up, dump their trash and then drive out along the gravel area beside our RV We asked them to address the issue…rocksSecond, when the man in the #2 left, they decided to use it as a dump site We literally had up to 6-10 rv’s pull through daily when the spot was empty and dump their tanks right next to where we sit, and rinsing their hoses right there One person even pulled in off the road and dumped their porta potty…rinsing it with the water bibVery disappointed! No one contacted us and offered to move us or a reduction in price paid, just an ornery volunteer escort telling us to contact the office ourselves It was a total disregard for us as patrons, paying the same as everyone else, and their need to make a few extra bucks! Plus disgusting and smelly!!!

Lisa Kauffman

I’m writing this review because as nice & clean as the RV park is, I’m very disappointed in some policies they have! SO, just FYIOne major disappointment is that they have a “no smoking” in public places policy, yet when you walk into the common/office area you’re hit with stale/smokers air That also effects the social room, the chapel, and Wi-Fi Hotspot area

Second disappointment is that if you own a RV without owning a vehicle to pull it, then you’re not welcomed! I was told by someone in the office, that it’s bc you have to be able to move your RV if needed, ie: an emergency Yet, they have many there sealed up for the season, at their RV site, with no vehicle Today, when I spoke with Sherry in the office, I asked her to explain the no “drop off” policy and her response was that they don’t have to explain it It’s probably a blessing in disguise that I will not be staying there! I hope that you have a better experience

I needed to stay in the area in March and was pleased to see a new hotel was available as cleanliness and upkeep is important to me New properties usually are in good shape Sadly, this property could use additional focus on maintaining the new fresh feel

The public restrooms in the lobby were not cleaned well or frequently Elevators and floors throughout would benefit from receiving additional attention Additionally, the initial room I was assigned had a significant odor in the bathroom On arrival, the bathroom door was closed, and abundant air freshener was noticed, perhaps as an attempt to address the issue I asked to be assigned to a different room and was initially told no other rooms were available However, the agent then found one He issued me new keys without any apology or showing any concern for the issue I hope the issue was reported so that it can be addressed for the next guestIn short, it is a nice new property with the potential to be very good, with some immediate focus on maintenance and cleanliness If not addressed, I fear this location will quickly lose its appeal

My son and I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus Happy Valley We had a wonderful experience Check in was a breeze, very informative and welcoming

Their breakfast was phenomenal, hot, hearty, and delicious Carl the breakfast attendant was was so hard working, and kept everything fresh The front desk receptionist Meagan was very helpful, kind, and knowledgeable She had a great smile to brighten up the rainy morning This hotel is modern and clean We will definitely be back!

Draylih Packer-Scott

I can’t lie this is a wonderful hotel staff was great rooms where the best set up nice even the entire Ambience is amazing What made me give two stars was the fact that I was trying to serve my wife breakfast in bed and was told I can’t bring food from the breakfast to my room I have a phobia of crowds and I wanted to eat in private intimate space with my wife

I was told this is Best Westerns policy Is this true if so that is very unfortunate

I have to say for once I am disappointed in a Hilton hotel I am a diamond member as I travel a lot Traditionally when you check in as a diamond member they will give you something welcoming you and showing appreciation

I wasn’t even offered a bottle waterI stayed on the 3rd floor and the hallways smelt like sweat The room was clean but the ac wouldn’t stay at a constant temperature I would lower it and it would go back up on its own It was 114 degrees so you want to cool down after working in the sun all day In the morning I went down stairs to find out that you pay for breakfast I have stayed in many Hiltons and never pay for breakfast and most hotels provide a breakfast of some sort The lady said that diamond members don’t get anything special I had 3 rooms total and 2 for 4 days I won’t be staying at this hotel again Just really let down about this whole experience I have spent many many of thousands of dollars with Hilton Never again this location

stoogeswoman

This review isn’t for the hotel itself, as I haven’t been able to get there (yet), but for the nice people working the front desk I had to cancel my reservation, even though it was past the deadline, due to an illness The person I spoke with was very helpful and kind and I really appreciated that! Still hoping to be able to get there before the end of the summer

Thank you again!

My husband and I have stayed at a few Curio hotels by Hilton This property is very beautiful but I was left wanting a little more The lay out of the property is great

Location of the room does not matter as you are escorted everywhere via golf carts The casitas are well decorated and clean However their age shows in a few areas but nothing off putting Room service is only for dinner and the food is okay but not worth the priceMy husband and I are not golfers but this property would be perfect for all the golfers out there I wouldn’t recommend this property for families We traveled with family and it is definitely a resort for adults that can minimally accommodate families

Logan Beer

The Boulders Resort is a true gem in the desert Guest get the spa vibe throughout the resort and the staff is very helpful The golf course was pristine and greens were in great shape

Pool facilities have great views— and the sound of the water fall made the space feel very relaxing Architecture throughout combines well with the desert landscape and decor is very tasteful Casita room lay out is very functional The best room feature are the stone floors— the cool ground is a nice touch when you wake up in the morning Many people complain about the room location to the amenities— however, I find this to be a plus, because it allows you to have a very private experience Plus the walks around the grounds are very beautiful Highly Recommend

chuckie Three

The location and amenities were very impressive Resort was clean and neat People were exceptionally helpful and friendly

I can’t get over two things however Our room was located almost as far away from the amenities as was physically possible The resort was nearly empty all three days We needed golf cart service when we left and returned each evening as it was to far to walk in the dark We could have been placed almost anywhere on the property The other issue, our room was 57 degrees when we checked-in at 10pm the first evening FIFTY SEVEN degrees! You didn’t know we were coming? Someone couldn’t turn on the heat prior to our arrival?

We came to phoenix for a stay and play soccer tournament and this was one of our hotel options Upon arriving they flat out to us they would not service our rooms While we were there The reason being originally was because they had over 35 rooms booked

I’m sorry if you can’t accommodate that many rooms then you should not be one of the options When I pursued getting my room made up they said that it was because of Covid and they would only service rooms every five days I’m sorry I don’t have access to a vacuum or my cleaning supplies and I clean my house Way more than every five days Since it was so hot we had soccer games at 7:30 we asked them to open breakfast a half an hour early so we could get something on the way out and they would not accommodate that either On the last day they did accommodate another team but it was not an option for our team They made us sign a contract about the kids and behavior I was traveling just with my son We felt very unwelcome
