The hotel is in nice location! The room was very spacious! There were plenty of towels which I like! The bathroom, though old, was very clean Free breakfast was also included They didn’t have much selection but I thought you can at least get something to eat before heading out

However, the hotel smelled musty and old I definitely noticed it as soon as we walked in The room smelled the same We booked a room with 2 queen beds since I was with a friend but they gave us room with a king bed instead We were told that they didn’t have the room/bed we booked anymore! Needless to say I didn’t get a good night rest

Addell Anderson

I booked the hotel for our staff retreat and was highly impressed with the facility and services for such a reasonable price Our staff arrived from various states, so it was important the sleeping rooms were comfortable and the meeting facility adequate to conduct our business Truly, the Holiday Inn surpassed our expectations

They even allowed food to be brought in from outside the hotel Special thanks to the staff for taking care of all of our needs before, during, and after our stay In addition, the facility is only a short drive to downtown (some of my colleagues walked), as well as shopping I would not hesitate to book this hotel, again

My 11 year old daughter and I traveled to Asheville for a day trip for her birthday We chose this hotel and it far exceeded our expectations From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by friendly staff and a beautiful facility

The rooms were basic but very clean and nice The bed was extremely comfortable and we were very happy with our accomodations We had several interactions with the folks at the front desk and they are the reason I would return to this hotel The shuttle was so convenient and drove us downtown and picked us up with 10 minutes of calling for a return pickup We will definitely be staying here in the future

Kordell St Amand

This hotel was so nice From the moment we arrived the front desk staff Tiffany and Liz were so helpful They gave suggestions on where to eat and boy were they right

The breakfast was a lot more than I expected The shuttle made visiting downtown super easy and we didn’t have to pay for parking Definitely book at this hotel 5 stars all the way

Nicole Leifer

The staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful I accidentally left a car door open, and even though the parking lot has signs that say park at your own risk, the security guard, while making his rounds of the property, saw it and contacted the desk, who tracked me down (I was in the pool with my kids) and told me about it, and then, because I was in the pool and couldn’t run out, he went back out and closed and locked it for me! The place is really beautifully decorated, it’s such a lovely ambiance, the front desk staff is so cheery and sweet every time you go by Such an amazing deal for the price!!

Sleep Inn is one of my favorite hotels to stay at in Asheville! It’s always clean, rooms are very nice with the most cozy and comfortable bed, and the staff is always super friendly! Also it’s one of the very few hotels that will actually price match if you find a rate cheaper online!! Definitely always my go to hotel and trust me I have stayed at many hotels in Asheville, NC!!

The king bed was firm yet comfortable as we love it The shower was very relaxing and the bathroom was spotless Kudos to housekeeping for the roomyour hardwork has not gone unnoticed! Highly recommend for families Will most definitely be back!

This hotel was located off the road into the woods, it was very nice & the front desk clerk was exceptional! He looked like Santa Claus with a jolly happy spirit too! He referred up to great dinner places and was just so sweet! Brought back memories of true Southern Hospitality the way it used to be! Compliments to the hiring staff,

I can not say enough good things about this hotel It was a great experience Ermie checked us in

He was very polite and accommodating The room was perfectly clean, good view We even took advantage of the pool and jacuzzithe best! They served the best complimentary breakfast I’ve had in a long timeOverall, this place was clean, quiet and safeI would only like to see furniture upgrades (ie sofa) since this is a cozy and relaxed areaI WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN!

Keith Saroka

Nice hotel overall Did not arrive until 11pm and since I had reservation they called to see when I would be arriving so that was nice Room was on the smaller side but fine

Door deadbolt in my room would not latch properly but at midnight I did not feel like having them come to work on itHot breakfast was very good although the place to eat was pretty packed when we got there around 915amAmple parkingLots of hand sanitizer and COVID precautions still in place No complaints thereOverall a nice hotel

James Bryant

Room is quite nice Liked the layout Housekeeping argued with me about additional towels upon check in, also argued about 1 additional shampoo

I swim laps and have longer hair and forgot mine Spa is amazing I did not feel the pool looked clean The ladder was rusty Water was very cold for an indoor pool (I swim outside in the winter) Day staff was Amazing! Matt at the front desk evening shift was rude every day of my stay (so, not just having a bad day, he really doesn’t like his job or the guests) Before checkout on my last day, I did try the breakfast, it was wonderful The horrible powdered eggs were so good, I decided whoever made them actually followed the directions 🤭 steamed in a double boiler, creamy and fluffy, yum

Nice, clean hotel room Nice fire pit area, pool and hot tub with towels The only strange thing was the multi use shampoo and lotion

(I’m weird though) I tried the lotion It was so strongly scentedGood priceBreakfast was the usual- scrambled eggs, sausage, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal

Isabella Belisle

This Hampton was the best one I have ever stayed at It was super clean, the rooms were very spacious, the breakfast was amazing and had lots of options to choose from including mini waffles Everything was brand new, you could smell in the halls the brand new rubber from the walls and rooms

Cannot express how impressed we were with both the service and the hotel itself

Brendan T. Westfall

This is such a conveniently located, nice hotel! My partner and I went on a long weekend trip with my sis and her hubby, and really enjoyed ourselves The hotel is very close to downtown Asheville & has easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway We enjoyed the pool and hot tub during our stay, and the breakfast as well

Planned a fun weekend for the grandchildren wanting to make reservations at a motel w/swimming pool I went to this motel on a Wednesday to make reservations for two nights the upcoming weekend; the reservations were confirmed However, went to this same motel on Friday Evening to check in and was told my reservations are being canceled because I am a local resident

I TOTALLY understand why they cannot rent to a local, however, they should have NEVER confirmed the reservations in the first place The Grand Children were extremely disappointed

ryan laff

For me this is the ideal combo for a hotel airport Unlike the others around the shuttle service starts at 4am They have a snack section with alcohol and frozen dinners

It has a pool a hot tub and a gym It’s great to get a small workout in to help you sleep before a flight The continental breakfast was much better than most Rooms clean, nice TV and no I welcomed smells I saw a cool bug too

cody raterman

Alicia and Scott were wonderful I fudged up and booked the room for the wrong day, and they were kind of enough to assist me in getting a room even though they were booked solidPros: shuttle service is quick and easy

Clean rooms Comfy pillows Breakfast Inexpensive

Not a bad hotel for a night The rooms were generally clean, spacious and smelled good Everything worked correctly but the water must be very hard because it was difficult to rinse the soap off

The pool is indoors and very small, if no one is in the pool it would be hard to swim laps, with one person in the pool it is impossible The free breakfast is pretty light but the did have sausage patties and precooked omelettes as well as make your own waffles Nothing is in walking distance to the hotel but a Waffle House The staff was friendly enough but not very helpful The luggage carts were few, very small, and scattered

Angie Walker

Pleasantly surprised with this hotel The employees were all very friendly and helpful The hotel is clean and spacious and has many extra amenities

We would certainly stay here again However, our issue was with the parking and door access The entries into the hotel are awkward in relation to room access For example, we were on the fifth floor From either point of entry door, you must walk a full length hallway to get to the elevator

Taylor B

Im usually the one staying at higher end hotels This was a girl’s trip and we went a little more frugal Pleasantly surprised by the beautiful building, service and cleanliness

The front desk staff were very helpful The rooms were super clean!Pool was well maintained and breakfast was deliciousThank you for a nice stay 😊

A great alternative to in the middle of downtown Asheville Very nice rooms only a short drive from all the great things to do downtown And what terrific rooms for the price

This hotel looks and feels, and gives you the experience of the more expensive hotels Everything is new, clean, and works great The water pressure in the shower is good, the tap water is drinkable, and there is something more like central air and heat with a real thermostat instead of those very noisy wall unit AC/heat combo things The suite rooms have a nice desk, a second room area with sofa that pulls out into a bed, a second TV, and a sliding glass door walk out balcony with nice views

Beautiful hotel, spacious rooms, friendly staff However, it is definitely not worth the price The hotel brags about all these accommodations, but it’s not worth it

For example, I was proudly informed that the staff could send a Keurig up to my room at my request if I missed breakfast service Requested coffee, it never came Not that I was terribly inconvenienced, but for a supposedly “high-end” hotel, I was not impressed I can receive a complimentary coffee pot without having to request it at any 2 or 3-star hotel or motel, so I was pretty disappointed i purchased breakfast downstairs and they forgot one of my entree items that I paid for Went to check into one of the restaurants the night prior, and the sign said “please wait to be seated” or something to that effect Meanwhile, our host was busy chatting with the hostesses working for the restaurant across the hall and took several minutes just to seat us Over all, I’m pretty disappointed For a place like this, where wealthy patrons are common and high-end service and commodities are to be expected, I feel like I could have had a better experience at a Quality Inn for a fraction of the price The interior design and cleanliness is great, but that’s about all that is special about it

David

My wife and I loved our stay The staff went out of their way to make the occasion special The room was well cleaned and had beautiful views of the city

It was nice to have the restaurant and bar, which was awesome as well We had dinner and breakfast and everything was good The elevators were incredibly fast, like I’ve never seen them get to me slower than 30 seconds

Caroline Troullis

Really enjoyed our stay here! Staff were great, enjoyed the happy hour drinks, rooms were beautiful! The only downside is because the hotel is right downtown in the middle of everything, there is some street noise, although I don’t think it’s loud enough for most people to care–I was the only one in my family bothered by it because I have sensory issues Afton was completely understanding and switched things around so I would be on the other side of the building where less traffic passes by, and even brought up a fan I could use as white noise She went above and beyond to make me comfortable and didn’t judge me at all for having special needs

Thank you for making my stay so much better!

The indoor pool was warm, the hot tub worked great ( we enjoyed the snow storm from the comfort of the hot tub)Honestly there’s nothing I can say negative of this hotel except maybe some breakfast options

Very nice, new hotel My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here The room was spacious and clean

There is no hotel provided breakfast or on-site restaurant, but the hotel shares a parking lot with McDonald’s and Taco Bell Burger King, Subway and Panda Express are all within walking distance as well Ingles grocery is right next door and is also a very convenient walk from the hotel Downtown is a 5 minute drive and less than 15 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway, the location of this hotel is great! The rooftop lounge area was still under construction, but we did go out on the roof and were able to see that it will be a very nice spot to relax once it is complete We would definitely stay here again

Looked for Asheville stay Found this hotel on my IHG app Noticed it was flagged as new

I like newLocation- It was close to a highway exit, less than 5 minutes from downtown via local roadsNearby- There were several fast food restaurants and two full service eat places nearbyParking lot- More than sufficient in size Although the entrance sign is obscured by the sign of a nearby restaurant, so slow down so you don’t miss itInterior Lobby- Spacious, bright and shiny like a new penny Staff- Helpful with a list of restaurants nearby and downtownRoom- Decent size and it too looked new Beds were comfortableAs my first extended visit to Asheville, we needed a late check-out to explore and received itI was pleased! They have self service snacks, but no breakfast However, Cracker Barrel was right across the street

It was wonderful to stay here the place was clean and neat

The check in was quick and the rooms were clean They do not have free breakfast like others but it would be good if they had Everything in the room worked out well The bathroom was neat and all products were available The house cleaning lady was really helpful in getting the stuff we asked for I would definitely book here again if I am around

PsykoticGodd MFP

Service at the front desk used to be great Seems like the quality of front desk agents have gone downhill by not caring about guests, nor helping them out When a guest walks in you are NEVER to direct them to book online or they can call the hotel and you can then transfer them to reservations

This is how you lose customers I will NEVER send people there again if you are making the guests work even harder after they may have had a long trip or whatever the case Horrible customer service from the female on the night of 7/16/22 She is the reason I will tell people to go elsewhere

Michele Grooters

It was a little tricky to find as the sign to the entrance is kind of small (between McDonald’s and red and gray building being redone)That being said, the staff there was lovely The afternoon (3-11) person from 8/10/22 to 8/12 was fantastic! I believe her name was Dinah

The other young lady, Brigitte (sp?) was also very helpful!

After our long drive, we stopped here for a one night stay Check in was quick and easy with a very nice and friendly front desk gentleman We parked right in front of our room which was convenient

Our room was clean and nice and cold while it was very hot outside The refrigerator was large and cold as well for all of our cooler items Beds were comfortable and got a nice quiet nights rest Checkout was quick and friendly again Great little place for an overnight stop!

Heather C

Amazing front service gentlemen Sparse breakfast options but good for something to grab and take with you Great location

No road noise or neighbor noise although we could hear if someone was talking too loudly in the parking lotRooms – horrible curtains! I could read without eye strain by the lights outside at night (no exaggeration!) It was brighter at night in the room than during the dayFirm and soft pillows were offered in our king size bed However it is pet friendly and my allergies were killing me, so I assume I booked a room where pets were previously Mattress wasn’t very comfortableInitially the AC wasn’t working well, but I fixed it The hair dryer also didn’t work at all, but I fixed it as well (it did take me 2 days though) Also the tub was cracked However the water was hot, and the little toiletries smelled great The shower head had options so that was nice (jet/mist/rain kind of stuff)The mini fridge didn’t work well and barely cooled our drinks We got some icecream one night to celebrate our anniversary, and it melted into soup in the freezer part while we went to a movie Unfortunately I wasn’t able to fix that part, but we just didn’t put leftovers in there for the rest of the tripOverall it’s a solid place to stay, but I don’t see myself returning

Lily Tomaszewski

Don’t keep anything that you do not want stolen in your room! Quite a few of my belongings turned up missing! Including medications! My room was nice Bed was comfty! This place is located with a gorgeous view and mountains right there and all around you!But

The management of this Super 8 needs to rethink the potential employee screening process Sorry but your current system is a DUD!Sincerely,A victim of your employee thieves

The room was clean and quiet The beds and pillows were comfortable There was a bit of an odor in the room and it was humid because it had been really rainy and they were very responsive getting us a dehumidifier which helped a lot

Only 4 stars because the smell still lingered Breakfast was consistent We were there 5 nights and I felt very comfortable

Kenneth Keifer

We’ve stayed at many BW’s and this one was fine The room seemed pretty clean, bedding was nice and beds comfortable The air conditioner did give off a musty smell, which was noticeable

We’ve stayed in better ones, but this was fine It was well priced, and since we weren’t going to be in the room much, we were happy with the price The free breakfast was standard and plentiful All in all, for the price, I can recommend it

Dam M

The property is beyond well maintained, staff are super excellent, great breakfast (especially having two picky children), rooms are comfy and super clean and the location is absolutely perfect!! Close to major stores and more, and right off the highway I’ve stayed in several hotels all on the East of the states (I travel a lot from Cleveland, NY, to Miami) and this hotel BY FAR has been the BEST!! I will definitely stay here again and for the price

Entire hotel was extremely clean The staff was nice and friendly while checking us in I saw a lot of reviews about the parking lot being tight but I have a jeep cherokee and it was perfectly fine for us

I’m currently staying here now with my husband and infant son, we have been here since October and the service was excellent Especially one worker I’d love to speak highly of, Jennifer, she was super helpful at booking us a room last minute and made sure the room looked great and was ready for us as soon as possible It was imperative I find a room because I had just been released with my newborn premature son after emergency c-section

I’m so grateful for the staff and would definitely recommend this hotel I feel very at home and comfortable here while my husband and I are still looking for permanent housing

The service here has been awesome My wife and I had no where to go after our apartment flooded and my wife had just given emergency birth to our premature son, they really worked with us here, especially one employee Jenifer, she’s been fantastic She made us feel secure and right at home during our time of need and I couldn’t be more grateful

She works here nearly everyday and definitely take her job seriously We were super lucky to get a room here and have stayed since October The employees keep the rooms and facilities super clean and they are always accommodating

We booked a penthouse suite to have plenty of room to move around and invite people to our room, and the views did not disappoint! Check in was super easy Jessica and Mark went out of their way to make sure our stay was up to satisfaction The hotel has a small bar with really good roasted coffee, a good selection of liquor options, and several TVs so we could catch some sports

Our bartender Erica was phenomenal- so friendly and fun and great at what she does!!! Valet is easy except peak time around check out seems to be a bit of a wait, which is to be expectedThe only downsides were the “freshness” of the hotel rooms- our linens and such were clean, but the furniture could use some updating as well as a paint job and some more detail to cleaning the nooks and crannies of the room itself There is no microwave in the room, but I can see that as a liability We did hear that they are scheduled for a renovation which will be exciting to see, because otherwise we loved our stay! Location is great and just a short walk from everything downtown Traffic noise off the highway is pretty persistent but it didn’t bother us much We will definitely check this place out again next time we are in town if not just to pop in and say hi to our resident bartender!

The view was amazing from our top floor room and the service was great We had some issues with the cleanliness, I feel like they only clean what’s necessary The walls had markings, the light switch was dirty (I cleaned it), the sheets had hair on it (could’ve been housekeeping)

The worst, the actual pillows were stained (I check under the pillowcases) I’m very picky about cleanliness so I wouldn’t stay here again Molly, the receptionist, was very accommodating and sweet, she did everything to correct the situation The valet guys were nice too If you’re not picky, the hotel is cool

We enjoyed our stay very much Very clean Linens were fresh

Shower in bathroom was amazing Large and tiled Newly remodeled Great views of downtown The staff were amazing The breakfast was AMAZING!!! The fruit was fresh Eggs cooked perfectly Oatmeal was good also The only negative is no on-site parking However valet parking for an additional $30 per night is available We would definitely stay here again
