I’m writing this at 3 am! Ask me why I am up at 3am The whole floor smells like smoke The elevator smells like weed

I can only imagine this is what it is like to stay at Motel 6 I wish Hilton had a feature on the app that allowed to never see this place as an option for Syracuse againUpdate: The owner spoke to me upon checkout and has agreed to make up for the unfortunate incident I appreciate her professionalism and desire to correct the situation I added an extra couple of stars on my review and hope to correct it further on my next stay which I have agreed to give the hotel another opportunity

Liz Twins

The pool was dirty The room and hallways were not clean Melissa the front desk person should be coach with digital key and card keys

First you can share your digital key up to 4 Hilton member She stated it can only be share with 1 person When you make a card key copy with a digital card guest you need to copy the key not create an new one as it will cancel the digital key same vise versa A Diamond member to know more than the staff is a shame Coaching it definitely needed at this location Definitely not going to this location again

The floors felt sticky and dirty My kids socks became black It was nasty to be barefooted on the floors especially thin rugs

The couch and smaller couches was dirty and stained up Felt scared to sit on them not knowing what was left on them or makes you think about the last person and what they did in there for it to be that way Sticky tiles in the bathroom and kitchen The pool was murky too but doable

Wonderful accommodations Very comfortable and generous The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming

However, I’m a Hilton honors Gold member and I don’t know if any of you experienced this, however, normally we would get a free breakfast and we were given as slip for a $25 spend and then we would get Hilton honors points Not great But anyway, I took the voucher to breakfast when we checked out and the wait staff informed us that that is only for dinner We got a $275 credit in the pantry, however we spent full price for breakfast and no meal credit for one overnight stay Very disappointed! I hope they reconsider and go back to their former policy of giving a free meal or allow the spend for any meal during your stay What do you think?

Experience was horrible They say nothing on the website about not being able to pay for the room in cash But when my wife and I get there to check in

O yea u can pay cash when u check out, very confusing The manager on duty would not answer her phone when the attendant called and left several messages I can’t express how frustrated and p#@@d I am about this

My family just stayed at this hotel and we were amazed at the staff and how helpful they were From the staff when we checked in to the breakfast staff, everyone was really helpful My wife has a gluten and dairy allergy, after talking with one of the staff they made a special skillet omelet for her so that there wasn’t any cross contamination, and they offered her a dairy substitute for her coffee without her even asking

The free breakfast was probably one of the best breakfasts I have had at a hotelThe room was great, and clean no complaints there Overall great stay and I wouldn’t hesitate staying here again if I was back in the area

Cheyenne M

The hotel is nice My 6 person group first got the wrong size room but the staff upgraded to a handicap suite for us no problem as someone in my group used a wheelchairThe food was great the Cajun Chicken Pasta was good

The cleanliness could have been improved in the rooms a little thoughOverall it was a nice experience

Lynn P.

Breakfast is amazing and included Clean common areas, lovely staff and the housekeepers are great (especially the one who cleaned my room) I would 100% stay and recommend this hotel again

The only thing that would be great, but doesn’t take anything away from the hotel, is having a 2 eye burner That would 1000% make the rooms studio apartments

Very cozy home feel in the heart of Skaneateles, close to everything The house was decorated for Christmas and it definitely added to the experience Absolutely loved the jacuzzi bathtub in our room

Some of the electrical a little outdated and/ or not working Linens were a tad bit scratchy overall We were lucky to have the space to ourselves but I can imagine during peak season the house can get rather loud, lack some privacy Room doors are well locked but don’t have a good seal, a lot of light/ sound coming from the hallway Maybe skip the hotel pack n play and bring your own; our toddler was very uncomfortable in the one providedOverall a nice, quiet and relaxing Christmas Eve stay for us We wanted to stay another night 😊

Frankie Graham

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and were very pleased with the accommodations Originally, we were booked for a room at the Sherwood Inn but our room was not as advertised When I brought this to the attention of staff they were very understanding and really bent over backwards to give us the experience we were looking for

They ended up giving us a the Concord room in the Arbor house and we loved it! The room is huge, has a wonderful jacuzzi tub and was super luxurious!

Heather

Clean, cozy and quiet Beautiful room with a nice big tub and a fireplaceGreat place for a weekend getaway or just a random night during the week like we did

Winter deals were very well priced and breakfast was delicious!

Lovely updated hotel in main part of town, within walking distance to all women’s rights attractions and visitor’s center Our room and bath were spacious, well appointed, and had everything we needed to be comfortable An ample continental breakfast was included (yogurt, fruit, coffee, juice, mini muffins, chocolate croissants, cereal)

We also greatly appreciated the single-cup coffee maker in the room featuring Green Mountain Coffee Pods A large parking lot is located behind the hotel Staff were very pleasant and accommodating We highly recommend the Gould Hotel!

Gussie Whispell

An absolutely beautiful hotel in the center of Seneca Falls! We were on the third floor and the views were amazing The staff was kind and courteous In fact, I went down one night to ask the woman behind the desk if they had any Tylenol, and she gave me some from her personal stash

I would definitely stay here the next time I’m visiting Seneca Falls

We had a weekend stay and were pleasantly surprised! We were visiting for a shopping trip and the location of Sleep Inn was perfect Close proximity to all the places we wanted to go too The hotel is very well kept and clean

The staff is friendly and welcoming The rooms were excellent and I found to be very clean and spacious The breakfast provided had options and we found it to be plentiful Drinks and snacks are available for purchase in the hotel There is also a gas station and convenience store next door which was useful There was also a restaurant and tavern attached to the hotel that we didn’t get a chance to try We plan to visit Syracuse again, and when we do so, we’ll be booking at Sleep Inn

We recently stayed here for 4 days There were so many good things about it The price was so reasonable and it’s only a 3 minute walk to the lake, restaurants, and shops

The room was large and immaculate, and the bed was comfy The hotel provided tasty snacks, coffee, and tea Our room was on the first floor which means it didn’t have an in-room refrigerator, but that was fine because we used the common fridge on the 2nd floor to store a few things we had bought We would definitely stay here again

Crystal Kirby

Everything went amazingly smooth! From booking to check out! The man at the office (forgot your name sorry!!) who greeted us gave us great recommendations for local spots! Very pleasant! The room was very clean! When we walked in our room we had soft music playing, towels folded like swans on bed, and of course

the spacious jacuzzi! I will most definitely be back!

This is our “go to Europe in an hour” special destination Food is consistently excellent Rooms are quiet and comfortable

The staff is friendly and accommodating Spa services are top notch Stay two days at a time to totally unwind Gym, steam room, and nice clean locker rooms All that and avery large outdoor hot tub with bar They’ve got it right

Anna Diaz

The venue itself was lovely, my partner and I stayed 2 nights However, for a “high end” inn we should not have had leftover hair in the claw foot tub or leftover items in the fridge from the previous guest We were also not warned about the early morning construction (banging hammers and drills) despite being given the room closest to the workers

We never asked for anything aside from extra coffee pods (which were complimentary) and those took nearly an hour to show up at our door Beautiful area but the dismissive service made us decide not to return Look elsewhere for luxury unless you’re just coming for the day

Constance Coraci

It was my sister’s birthday so we picked a special place to celebrate Mirbeau seemed like a great choice because we’ve always heard good things about it (we live in Rochester, NY so it was a little bit of a drive) Overall, the experience was very disappointing

We had lunch reservations and it took them fifteen minutes to even acknowledge us in front of the host stand Once we were seated, the server was not attentive and she kept telling us how busy she was yet more than half the restaurant was empty She did not check on us once during our food or even clear the appetizers we started with She then came back with the excuse that she was MIA and could not come back to the table because of another tables food allergies Anyways I work in the hospitality industry and I just could not believe my ears or understand the service for such a “high end place” On Top of the terrible restaurant experience we then went and got massages and our massage therapists were good but the outdoor spa was totally gross There was so many bugs, sticks and debris in the outdoor hot tub it was disgusting The women’s locker room was also extremely underwhelming: very small lockers, laundry piled high in the baskets, outdated decor The entire Mirbeau ‘resort’ looks tired and is in dire need of a major facelift We were very disappointed and will not be returning backUpstate NY needs a 5 star spa

What an amazing gem in a beautiful town! My husband and I decided to book on a whim for a romantic night away The bungalow was clean, great size, with cute little details throughout It included amenities you don’t find at many places

The manager was very hospitable Upon arrival he gave us suggestions for dinner places and even gave us some history of the area We ate at a lovely Mexican Restaurant called the Elephant and Dove The atmosphere and food was fantastic The manager gave us a breakfast place loved by the locals It was delicious and the staff were warm and welcoming We are already looking to book several times again!

I am happy to say that I found a gem in the Finger Lakes, near where my daughter, husband and grandson liveVery convenient, intelligent design both outside and inside, everything a traveler needsThe little fridge was stocked with orange juice, Pepsi and snacks for no extra charge

Coffee above and sink and microwaveI’m a stickler for cleanliness, and this place was spotless You could even open a upper bathroom window for fresh air which you can’t do in most hotels! The manager and staff I met were kind and friendly I’m very glad I stayed overnight Price was reasonable, too I will stay again

Nice view from the clean room Even A/C filters were clean Good service in lounge

Employees were mostly very nice But breakfast was horrible Waited for to go order and took it back to room They forgot my toast so I had to go back I got it but by time I went back to room the rest of it was cold Ate very little as it was terrible It was a waste of $25Was charged for parking when it said free on the info sheet they gave me Not many people in town so it really should be included in room rate Another $45 gone

Chris Gayer

This hotel could use some cleaning and freshening up It is an old building and there is a lot of construction going on around the neighborhood there is a lot of noise from the outside and the window coverings do not cover the windows entirely

The windows in the room are very dirty on the outside I saw this mentioned in other reviews an thought nothing of it but it it quite impressive how dirty they are They look like they haven’t been cleaned for a decadeThe service seems to be spotty here The front desk manager and our waitress at breakfast were nice and competent but the housekeeping must be having problems Housekeeping stripped the linens and piled trash from an adjacent room in the hall in front of our room and left if all day and over nightThe furniture in the room is a mixture of newer and old The curtains are old and have dirty feeling to them When booking direct through IHG, I was given the option to pay a higher rate to have breakfast included At checkin, I was told that breakfast is not included but they give a voucher for $20 off at their restaurant They charge an additional $15/day for parking in their unsecured empty parking lot

Sue Bedier

Our room is comfortable and I appreciate being able to control the temperature and keep the fan running because the adjacent freeway is so loud The public spaces are absolutely filthy The gym is truly disgusting

No wipes available and dirt and chunks of who-knows-what all over the floor Dust, grime, old sweat, I cannot exaggerate how dirty it is Other public spaces are also unclean (floors especially) Handy location

I am unable to give any stars for this review We arrived here at this hotel yesterday only to find out that the room where it was $300 for “Dart”competition Not what I was quoted

That was the first thing We Would have left but we were on the road all day from Boston and just couldn’t drive any longer Second, out keys did not work for me and my wife Neither of us cannot get around very well had to stand in the hallway while my grandson went to the front desk’s My grandson said the pool with so cloudy that you could not see the bottom and there was a huge spackled hole in the ceiling, Also, As I type this I’m looking out my window and a gigantic dump I guess it’s known as the biggest dump in Western NY, literally To top it off,I saw a bug on my pillow 5 seconds before writing this Don’t stay here The Hiltons have the same class as the dump across the street
