Horrible!Disgustingly dirty! Didnt have clean bedding to replace the stained ones Only took a photo of the outside while the bed was made, but plenty more nasty gunk (hard and crusty not stained) on the insideThe hot tub in our room wasnt clean, wasnt provided bedding for the pullout

Staff was as helpful as she could be But I will never be returning

This is apparently the only place that offers public swimming of the indoor pool so we decided to try it out To be honest we were so excited to swim so I didn’t even look the place over well before getting in The first time we went they didn’t have the heat on and the water was quite cold, so we mostly stayed by the hot tub

When I got into the hot tub and sat back to relax, I looked over to my right and seen a USED Band-Aid stuck to the side of the ledge Gross There we’re also little plastic pieces from their old pool tarp floating in the pool I was a little thrown off on how the area looked because the desk lady said the owners had redone the pool area recently But it looked a bit older and unkept When we finished swimming, we grabbed a couple towels and went into the bathroom to get dried off and dressed The bathroom was not very clean and the sink was plugged After I got my little one dried off and dressed, I went to dry myself off more and unfolded a towel that looked to have blood stains all over it I was immediately grossed out When something was mentioned I was rudely snapped back by the owner from my understanding, which in turn stated it was not blood on the towels but rust Whatever was on the towels should not have been put out for people to use Washed or not, Other hotel establishments pull out very stained towels and bedding because it is not appealing and because of certain standards My little one wanted to swim again, so I thought I would give it one more chance even after being talked to so rudely because it was something she wanted to do This time I brought my husband When we came in the desk lady explained a new rule about how public pool people were no longer allowed to use the hotel towels because of a “complaint” and the lady was a little snobby about it which made me uncomfortable and want to leave Since we were already there and had payed, we went swimming Sink wasn’t plugged this time but that Band-Aid was still stuck in the same spot by the hot tub Couple weeks later which made me wonder how often they check or clean the pool area We decided to not come back because of how we were treated and the uncleanliness of the environment I feel the owner or whoever it was could have approached the situation better And after reading some of the other bad reviews, it seems that’s just the way things are We ended up getting invited to a “pool/birthday” party not long ago but it wasn’t any better We were trying to find a table and chairs to set our dry stuff down but most of the sets had yellow puddles on them We didn’t know if it was urine or what but we did notice the moldy water dripping on us from the clearly moldy wood ceiling in the pool room The family who hosted the birthday party was not very happy about the dripping mold either

Very poor service We called the night before to say we would be in late and they still had our room but that’s the only good thing We got there to check in and it appeared we were bothering the person that was working because she had to put down her iPad and get off the couch to check us in

Then we stated we were using a different card to pay for the room then we used for the reservation She said okay but never asked for the card I thought we would finish the payment in the morning since it was midnight Got to our room and the beds were rock hard and the fitted sheets don’t fit so they come off every time you move Go to check out in the morning and we were told they charged the card that the reservation was made with The person working just kept saying sorry but she couldn’t do anything just her manager could She wasn’t willing to contact the manager though to fix the issue I would not recommend them and will not go back! The bathtub didn’t look clean, probably stained, and no plug if anyone needed a bath and we were traveling with a 5 year old so a bath might have had to happen if we were there more than 9 hours

We stayed in three different AmericInn hotels during our little vacation this summer This one was definitely not the best First, we booked with this chain because they are pet-friendly

We have one 18 pound pup who is super well-behaved (he’s almost a therapy dog) Someone came up behind us while checking in, so he barked at them because he was startled The woman at the front desk, who was extremely rude the whole time we were here, made a snide comment about how she hoped nobody would complain about our dog You’re a PET-FRIENDLY HOTEL Dogs bark sometimes Babies cry and scream, too, and I hope she wasn’t making similar comments about people’s children Our dog was so good while we were here, and he’s hypoallergenic, so he doesn’t even shed and get hair everywhere We had to pay a pet fee, which is no big deal, but neither of the other two hotels we stayed at made us pay a pet fee The room was nice enough, but it was definitely dirty Not to mention that we specifically requested one king bed and got two instead Not a huge deal, but this place was empty while we were hereThere were actual dirt stains on the shower wall and hair that was definitely not ours There was also pet fur in the carpet (at least I hope it was pet fur) and base boards The towels were in terrible shape (one thread away from giant holes), and it was just an all-around disappointing stay I came in once carrying three bags, my dog’s leash, and some pizza I was greatly struggling but stopped to ask the front desk for some toilet paper, since there was none in our room and the rolls were almost empty I told her our room number (which was the closest one to the desk) and went to our room because I was having a hard time balancing everything and had no more hands She came to give me the toilet paper and snidely stated that she didn’t expect me to “disappear” on her Our room was five feet from the desk All in all, this was disappointing, and it was NOT worth the money I sincerely hope they clean up better next time and get a new desk worker I didn’t even feel comfortable complaining because she was so dismissive and rude!!!! Such a huge bummer, since our stay at the one previously was so wonderful Also, not for nothing, but the wifi and internet was horrible! It barely worked 50% of the time, so don’t plan on working while you’re here Steer clear of this one; there are plenty of others around!

Stayed there for family wedding yesterday This will be a long post but want to explain the whole situation as well as feedback for those lookingClean hotel, friendly staff, hottub out of service but a nice easy to read sign at front desk with explanation, nice room (we were in a 2 bd queen), and a nice standard breakfast selection (my cousin said the scrambled eggs were some of the best she has ever had at a hotel!)

Not gonna lie, it was stressful for some of the guests ss they were told upon checking in that the hotel was somehow overbooked, they were having issues with their scheduling system, and didnt have any available rooms Alyshia (front desk attendant) and Melanie (Manager that came in on her day off) where doing the best they could to help and eventually got things straightened away I would love to give them both a huge shout out and special thank to Melanie for everything as well as Alyshia for staying calm and cool with the upset guests Thank you!I would stay here again if i ever had to as overall it was a great place and staff

This was our 6th or 7th time staying there but unfortunately and this visit was a NIGHTMARE! 1STroom was completely full of urine on one of the mattresses had to switch to another room, the 2ND RM the heater and air conditioner unit didn’t work so had to move to a 3rd room! Keys wouldn’t work to get in rooms We are all the way up on the third floor we continually had to go down to the receptionist area they seem to be nice but it was all a facade We missed a dinner, missed a concert that we were supposed to go to

We were supposed to be refunded never got refunded! talked to a manager and two co-workers and have gotten nowhere just keep lying and going in circles

This stay was average among other Super 8 hotels we’ve stayed at It wasn’t the worst by far, but the rooms definitely need a deep cleaning (mold around the tub faucet and stains on the room carpet) The staff, however are incredibly kind and patient

We had opportunity to watch more than one staff work with other guests and staff should be accommodated for their patience! This hotel is directly behind a bar, but there wasn’t excessive noise Check in and out was easy and quick

Kayla Running

Room was very clean, nice area, decent amenities Conveniently next to a good restaurant and a Walgreens too Really can’t complain about the facility and area itself! My one and only note is that the staff at check in were not educated on ADA and Federal Law when it comes to access to service animals

They asked me for my dog’s papers which unfortunately is something a few places think they need to ask for since people can purchase papers and service dog “certificates” off websites to get their pets in places for free It directly affects disabled people who rely on legitimate service dogs such as myself I don’t blame the employee though as businesses should really be responsible for training their employees on service dog access laws It would also benefit them since they claimed they have had many dogs come in with these “papers” which are just pets with no actual training A quick google search also will provide info on this issue as well

We stayed here for the weekend for a wedding that took place in Columbus, WI Check in was very quick and easy and no check out at front desk needed The overall hotel and room was very clean and well kept

There’s also decent shopping and stores right around the hotel that is very convenient Would definitely stay here again should we be in the area again

Greg Buchwald

The room was comfortable and check-in was easy and fast We stayed 2 nights There was 1 issue: We left by 7AM after our first night and we were gone all day

When we returned at 8PM, our room had not been serviced at all We had wet towels on the floor, etc This is the third Windham property out of 4 in the last couple of months where this has occurred I understand that it is difficult to find people to work right now but rates on rooms are up 50 to 100% in the last 2 years and we should expect at least minimal service such as new towels

I have stayed at this hotel many many times, I have also recommended it to family and friends Free breakfast every morning is such a nice start to my day Owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming

Pricing is reasonable and the rooms are fantastic The bed and pillows are so soft The pool and fitness center are a great way to relax I would not stay in any other hotel in the area Quality Inn is the hotel to be in perfect for any event

Becky Jincks

Sept 2019 – Clean, comfortable room Clean, neat outside Friendly staff

Good breakfast but not as many choices as offered by other Quality Inn locations Reasonable charge ($70 for 2 adults, one bed) The pool was not open – but that really isn’t a deal breaker for me The building is old Some ads say it’s “recently remodeled” but I’m guessing that the remodel occurred a few years back However by mentioning that I do not mean to imply that the facility is tacky or has not been maintained It’s obvious that the rooms HAVE been maintained I’ve paid more at other motels that we’re not as clean or functional I will book a room here on my next trip through Beaver Dam

Shari Butler

The front desk woman was awesome She is the only reason I didn’t rate this hotel lower The hotel is extremely run down and the pool was closed and used as a storage room when I was there

In the first room I was assigned the toilet didn’t work and the tub was a disaster The second room wasn’t perfect but it was much better I think I was the only one staying on that floor and it was kind of spooky Odds and ends furniture was stored in the hall The hotel appears to be perhaps a boarding house I arrived late at night and people were hanging out in front in portable lawn chairs Everyone was pleasant but as a single woman it made me a little nervous and I wouldn’t leave the room until morning

The staff was WONDERFUL – everyone with whom we came in contact I’ve never experienced such a wonderful staff in a hotel before The breakfasts were super good and there was coffee available all day

I was disappointed in my room The floor had numerous stains and the carpet was coming up The room was humid the entire time no matter what I did with the thermostatI was disappointed there was no cleaning of the rooms in the 4 nights I stayed, 5 nights for my parents I’ve never been I a hotel where this happens (except Africa)Our toilet had an issue one night, but there was no one on staff except the lady at the front desk, so I had to fix it or we had no toilet Fortunately it was an easy fix A 3-star hotel needs to have a remedy other than the customer! Again, we weren’t in Africa! Finally, our family was there on bereavement and booked 4 rooms We ended up with 3 different rates for bereavement rate I’m still trying to figure that one outI would probably go back if I needed to stay in the area, but there are these couple things that need help

Jill Spann

First the good stuff: the staff here were great, so helpful and attentive When we got to our room the TV remote batteries were dead, we called and they brought us a new one right up While the worker was there I asked her where we could find some plastic forks and she said they were at the front desk

Minutes later she was knocking at the door with a few sets of plastic ware for us which was really nice and not expected The room was very clean, the breakfast was great, the pool and hot tub are a pretty decent sizeNow the not so great stuff: the bed was not very comfortable, it was like sleeping on a really old mattress that has lost its squish and is all springs Like other reviews have said the chlorine in the pool area was so strong my eyes were burning even the next morning Also the pool was freezing cold, we entered the pool first and planned to finish up in the hot tub but after shrieking in the cold pool for a minute we decided to just go straight to the hot tub And finally, the elevator ride from hell I ride elevators a lot (I work in a hospital) so I’m not afraid of elevators I can tell you this elevator was the most terrifying one I’ve ever been on As the car passes each floor it shakes from side to side and jostles you around, and when we reached our floor before the doors opened it dropped a couple inches It’s also a very small elevator so the thought of getting stuck in that thing is terrifying We took the stairs the rest of our stay which was certainly better for our health but not what you’re looking for when you’re paying to stay at a hotel If you’re afraid of elevators plan to stay on the first floor or take the stairs Overall it was a fine stay but I wouldn’t choose to stay here again

Hank Zane

Stayed here for a night for a wedding Enjoyed the room, coffee and breakfast, and the pool and hot tub area We were here on a Saturday and there was a fire and get together in the courtyard, pretty chill vibe

There is a fitness area with treadmills and stationary bikes but didn’t get to try it out Overall a fun stay for a single night
