This place is WONDERFUL 👍🥰👍 Their rooms are beautiful and CLEAN, well stocked and put together with customers in mind 👍👏👍👏👍👏 I’m talking down to providing toothbrushes & toothpaste❣ We checked out and ended up checking back in the same day, NO PROBLEM And we asked for a ground floor room, they arranged things to accommodate US This kind of customer service is RARE

Come HERE if you want to be treated GREAT 👍 👍👍 SO thankful to have found them on Hotelscom, our 2 previous attempts to find a decent affordable place yielded major issues UGH THIS place MORE THAN MADE UP FOR IT & WE ARE GRATEFUL❣❣❣

The manager Greg and Front Clerk James were very professional and the whole staff were very welcoming and helpful during the entire stay! They are very much pet friendly and very clean! They have washers and dryers for travelers and a decent exercise room! And for those who drive semi trucks, they even allow semi trucks to park when staying! Wish all hotels were as clean and professional and friendly as this hotel! If I could give them more stars I would!!

I always stay at a Hampton Inn when I’m traveling for business They are always very clean Last Tuesday I check into the Hampton Inn in Clinton, NJ

I check into the room and went upstairs Upon getting into my room the remote had been wrapped up in paper saying it was cleaned The remote was never wiped down It was sticky and had crumbs After that it looked like someone has already been on the bed and I noticed long hair on it I immediately went downstairs and let both people know what happened They offered me another room If something else would have been wrong with the room I would have gladly changed, however when it comes to cleanliness I did not feel comfortable staying there I told them I was leaving and that I wanted a refund They refused to give it to me Instead they gave me the managers card and I was told to call the next day I left and went to the Town Place Suites(Marriott) 5 minutes awayFirst thing the next morning I immediately called the manager of the Hampton Inn I was told that she was not in and that I had the assistant manager on the phone I explained everything that happened and I was told that they would check their camera footage to see if the room was cleaned They told me I would hear back from them That was 3 days ago and I have still not heard a wordThis hotel really does not deserve a star The place was filthy and on top of that the staff are very rude They do not appreciate their customers

The Hampton In in Clinton is a run of the mill Hampton Inn The amenities are pretty standard and the hotel as a whole is pretty middle of the road A few things do make this spot stand out a bit though

It’s extremely close to a few restaurants and stores, making getting supplies extremely easy If you’re up for a little stroll, walk down the road behind the hotel and you’ll find yourself on a nice trail One direction goes into the woods/fields, while the other follows the river and will spit you out in historic downtown where there are many little shops and restaurants (highly recommend this if you’re able) Lastly, the staff here is great I’ve stayed here a few times now and each time just have great interactions with the staff Whether you’re staying in the area for a few days or just passing through, I recommend this location

I’m always hesitant to stay at an “INN” because of the reputation they carry but this hotel exceeded my expectations! Our room was very clean and spacious we got the double bed queen suite with a pull out sofa it was plenty of us and there was still plenty of space! The first shift staff was extremely accommodating and friendly! The breakfast buffet has a little bit of something for everyone seriously and they keep it fully stocked so don’t worry about getting down there late there will be food still! The pool was clean and a decent size! They have a basketball hoop for the kids with balls to keep them entertained to say the leastThere’s a cute outdoor patio right outside the pool for you smokers who may need a break there’s even lights for nighttimeThe bathrooms were clean

They have small things like tooth brush tooth paste mouth wash etc if you forget yours like me every time!9/10 — The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars or a 10/10 is because they had no pool towels or room towels available for my whole Saturday stay, and when they did have towels available it was never enough

Robert Miranda

My family came to this hotel for a recent vacation trip to New Jersey from Chicago We loved our room because it was large and the ceilings was tall They offered some awesome free breakfast and the staff kept the place clean even during breakfast

We loved the pool and the workout room option We will definitely come here again It was nice that this hotel was right off the New Jersey turnpike to get around

It is a pleasure to see Customer Service and dedication to Customer Satisfaction, to well above and beyond the call of duty from all Staff members From Odessa at the front desk who, at the request of my Girlfriend back home, bundled some tea for me with a note from my Girlfriend and had it as a surprise for me when I entered my room that night after a hard days work, to Kelly in the kitchen preparing awesome breakfasts and coffee for us as we start our day every morning! Pricilla at the from desk was very pleasant and helpful for all requests, and I did interact with two other ladies at the front desk whose names I do not recall, but they also we very pleasant and helpful to me as well The manager, whose name also escapes me at the moment, was very accommodating with my room upgrade request and made my job a lot easier for my lengthy stay there

Thank You All for helping me spend a very comfortable and very pleasant stay at your Hotel! Keep Up The Good Work!

Very pleasant stay for a two night trip from LI to go to Six Flags in Jackson, NJ Felt like we were staying with friends from the moment we arrived We had a late check in and we’re given very much appreciated bottles of water and snacks gratis

Beds were very comfortable and bath towels provided were plush (!) Our room faced the lovely woods and was very quiet when we were ready for sleep Recommended with thanks!

Stacy Nalley

My son and I loved staying at Hilltop Motel!! The room was clean and super close to the base! I’m very picky with the cleanliness of the places I stay and this place passed the test The person I spoke with on the phone (I think the owner) was super helpful!! She helped us with information about the base and was always available when I had questions I will definitely be back

Thank you so much for providing a great place for a reasonable price!

Barry Goldberg

The room was extra clean and neat *** Our king bed was very comfortable *** The people who run the motel are delightful, extremely considerate, and followed up twice in a very timely fashion

*** My wife and I are elderly, and I’m just a couple of weeks from hip replacement surgery, so it was wonderful to be able to access the room directly from where we parked, which was immediately in front of the room door *** The price was great, too! *** The only downside, and it’s just a quibble, is that my wife would have preferred the shower water to be hotter ***Considering that other motels and hotels are way more expensive, this was a great stay!

Retta’s Raw Necessities

We stayed for (thankfully only) one night at this hotel The front desk staff was very welcoming We even received warm walnut/choc chip cookies that were delicious! Unfortunately, that’s where the compliments end

We were asked to sign an acknowledgment statement that this is a NO SMOKING policy hotel No problem, none of us smoke As we went up to our room, there was a strong smell of weed and cigars wafting through the hallways When showering, the water did not drain properly so we were anklet deep in water There were dust bunnies in the corners in the bathroom areas The phone in the room did not work There were no batteries in the TV remote And the ice machine on our floor did not work My friend, who stayed in another room had food left in her fridge by the previous guests I brought this to the attention of the front desk clerk upon checkout The only thing that was offered was to add points to my Hilton rewards For the amount of money they charge, I would not stay at this particular hotel again

Jillian Gundersen

The rooms were decently sized and clean However, we were part of a group booking for a wedding and were staying at the hotel Only half the wedding guests who checked in received their “Thank you” bags provided by the couple with the weekend itinerary and also didn’t receive their breakfast vouchers

This meant multiple trips had to be made to the front desk which is a very far walk from the rooms We also tried calling the front desk multiple times with no answer We assumed they were busy but when once again walking to the front desk, no one was in line with only one person behind the desk This person did not have the answers we needed as it didn’t appear he actually worked the front desk and must have just been manning the counter for the time being I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for a wedding group booking There are so many better hotels in the area

Scott Aaron

The hotel is a bit dated but for the most part everything seemed maintained The room (#204) was spacious and clean A table and chair would have been nice on the balcony but other than that it was good

There was a small issue with the carbon monoxide detector low battery beep in my room and it did take a while to get it corrected the General Manager reached out the next day to make sure it was all taken care of, nice lady BTW Restaurant was actually pretty good for a hotel Wayne in the bar is awesome, do stop by and see him!

Stayed here in January of 2022 I accidentally left a large multicolor knitted blanket that my mother made for me herself, it had a large label stitched on it that said, “Made with love for my Ruthie”I’m incredibly devastated and disappointed to say that it was stolen by one of the cleaning staff as they cleaned up my room I realized it was gone, and when I called the hotel to ask if they had it in their lost and found, they claimed to have no knowledge of it

I have worked as a housekeeping staff member in a large chain hotel business like this They are supposed to hold the items they find in rooms for 2 weeks to make sure that the guest can reclaim their item Some hotels hold items for even longer, up to a month or two Then, the housekeepers may ask if they can keep items that are unclaimedThe housekeeping manager needs to address this issueDon’t stay at this hotel unless you want to accept the risk of your sentimental items being stolen by housekeeping

I’m a gold elite member Called this Inn in NJ as I was too exhausted to continue driving and spoke to Liz who convinced me to give this Holliday inn a try When I arrived it was also Liz who checked me in and help select my room

My room was clean and the hotel was quiet Just wanted to take a moment as I was very happy with her (Liz) kindness, professionalism and eagerness to help Keep up the good work!

Marissa West

I tried to call and cancel my reservation and I couldn’t get a hold of anyone I called two days before and it keep going straight to voicemail I called the day of to speak with someone and they finally answered the phone and when i spoke with them there was nothing that they could do

When i asked for my money back they said they couldn’t give it back because it was a no call no show This hotel is very poor, no customer care, no manners, and they don’t even care about the slightest problem that you have I will never stay at this hotel again it was the worse experience ever They will take your money without even thinking twice about it The manager is very rude and disrespectful they don’t care even if you are sick or have an emergency they will do whatever they want to do

Stayed for a week The room has a funky scent when you walk in Hallway stinks a bit

No one bothered us Room key barely worked Had a hard time scanning in to get in the building as well as room There are a lot of stores and food places near by but there is sketchy people that tend to hang outside after 12am There were times we didn’t feel safe there but overall decent Staff was nice

Danielle Belliveau

We took an impromptu trip to the area to make a purchase and booked one night here It’s a nice place Convenient location- there is a restaurant (food was pretty good for bar food! They also have sushi but not our thing), bar and IHOP all attached to the building so after a 7 hour drive being able to just stay put was incredibly helpful

We booked a premium king room and it was nice The bed was very comfortable- we were facing the parking lot and you could definitely hear traffic in the earlier part of the day but that didn’t disturb us at night The room only had sufficient supplies for one (very unsweetened) cup of coffee each for my husband and I which is a bit unusual but we managed fine There was a gentleman vaping walking down the hallway on our way to the room (he appeared very comfortable as if he had been there for some time) which was a bit of a turn off- the young mother and her daughter across from us also appeared to be on a long term stay and the music and hollering at this young girl was a bit much The staff at the front desk were very friendly, especially the young man at check in! The staff at the bar were nice enough- this bar is definitely a local hangout but the regulars were very welcoming to us outsiders This hotel is not what we are used to with Ramada’s but Vineland appears to be a town that people don’t vacation too often so as a stop over place- this hotel is well worth the cost strictly based on the convenience

Beth Marut

Things were broken, but fixed quickly Front desk was great Housekeeping supervisor was snarky and loud, not helpful, but the room was clean

The pool and area is kept very nicelyI really wish there had been coffee in the lobby! Most hotels have brought it back after covid!

The hotel is not a go to destination being at an intersection of two interstates and across the street from a truck stop But the staff still treated me like I was staying there to enjoy the sites Clean room with a very comfortable bed

Breakfast was meager but filling and there was a good cup of coffee Check in was very easy as was check out

Jennifer D

The hotel appears to be undergoing a needed freshening up Our room seemed to be somewhere in the process, which was a bit disconcerting The bathroom was 1/2 renovated (we think?); the rest of the room seemed a bit worn and dated

The room looked clean and the beds were comfortable, which was our priority There was no hot breakfast, just a small muffin and an apple in a bag There is no neighborhood to speak of or anything of interest in the immediate vicinity Staff were pleasant and helpful, which we appreciated Of course, your mileage may vary!

Kenneth Bentivegna

I want to start this review by stating that when my family travels we almost always stay in a Hampton Inn I say this so you understand that I realize I am not staying in the Ritz, and I manage my expectations accordingly I also realize that this hotel was just off of two separate highways, in the middle of relative nowhere

The lobby and elevators were clean and nice The room was mostly clean, and the beds were clean and well made Now let’s get to the issues:1 The bathtub, did not drain appropriately, thus creating a pool of water that reached up to my ankles during my shower2 The bathtub had a black ring around the bottom, likely due to the tub’s failure to drain3 The door to the bathroom squeaked loud enough to wake the dead, so definitely loud enough to wake anyone that might be sleeping4 There were many holes in the bathroom from old fixtures in the bathroom that were just spackled over, and were quite obviousAlso in the bathroom, there were several purposeful cuts to the wallpaper that appeared to be abandoned prep for new fixtures5 The toilet seat was VERY loose loose enough to move off of the toilet and possibly pinch someone’s thighs6 The sheets were nice and soft but the quilt cover was very rough and uncomfortable7 At the base of the bathtub and floor tile there was a large black stain? Not really sure what it was It didn’t look like mold8 In between the beds the outlet cover was not large enough to cover the hole in the wall]9 Near the window the joint between the wall and ceiling was peeling as was a corner of the room Both of these areas were several feet in length10 The free breakfast area was clean but too small Four was a crowd It only had one waffle maker which really slowed down the process for everyone waiting There was very little choice of food, and what food they did have, there was very little of it, including no coffee They also ran out of eggs, and after a long attempt to find someone that worked there and a worker at the front desk that did a very good job of not making eye contact with anyone, someone did finally go in the back and make some more eggs and sausage and then left the area No fresh coffee was provided hey did have some fresh fruit, but it was 3 oranges, and about 10 black bananasAll in all, a very disappointing place to stay Definitely not representative of The Hampton Inn brand

I always have a great time at Tropicana It’s always clean Despite the pandemic, it was a nice crowd

The new room reservations were nice They have a nice selection of eateries and restaurants It was nice to see everyone cleaning on the casino floor My only issue was with the party next door making a lot of noise at 3:30am but the hotel was very accommodating I will definitely be back to visit

kam kohli

The stay itself was great Location is awesome, right on boardwalk and 24 hrs casino and food service with bar Express Check-in and check-out process was fabulous, you don’t have to wait for anyone and they charge a minimum amount of parking for the whole stay (super cool)

The only thing which I didn’t like was the bed (mattress), very uncomfortablecouldn’t able to sleep Hotel needs to fix the bedding system (bed and pillows) Rest all was Fab 🙂 100% recommended

Adam Schupak

Overall, for Atlantic City standards, this hotel is pretty good Clean, soft beds, and nice views (If you’re in the west tower and on floor 38 or higher)! The shower in our room didn’t have hot water The hottest the water got was lukewarm, and to get the faucet in the bathroom to run, we had to pull very hard on it to flow

Besides the rooms (which smelled nice), most of the hotel, and casino on the bottom floor, smelled overwhelmingly like cigarettes and tobacco Even in the hallway on our floor (floor 43), it smelled like it The gym in the hotel is great along with the selection of restaurants in the “quarter” Most of the restaurants, however, are mostly full most nights so make sure to make a reservation at them before hand! Other then that, this is a great hotel!

We stayed here for one night on November 15 I am quite frankly surprised at the reviews Staff is very friendly and helpful

Only glitch was they gave us a room that the card would not work in, but after returning to the front desk, they gave us another room Room was clean, didn’t see any problems with age, but we only stayed for the night Breakfast was great! scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon, french toast, pancakes instead of the usual waffles, the cinnamon buns were fresh and warm Convenient location Would stay again

Jonathan Crane

First of all I want to say that Michelle at the front desk is an absolute class act If she was the owner of this hotel it would be five stars Alas she works for a multibillion dollar company and has to follow the rules and deal with inept employees

This place is a dump The hallways smell funny (Can’t articulate it) and the room smells like stink bugs or like someone cooked a pot roast The bathroom fan doesn’t work The “gym” is incredibly humid and mildewy I suspect they have very serious moisture problems and I wouldn’t be surprised if the walls were riddled with mold It’s hard to believe they get $300 per night for this placeThe housekeepers are overworked and cannot give the appropriate attention to each room (or maybe just don’t care) The maintenance people ignore work ticketsIf you must stay here, try to stay on the top floor You will hear people walking around above youGood luck, weary travelers You’re going to need it

lisa andreini

Let me start by saying we have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express many times and we’re surprisingly dissatisfied with our room Our issue was not with the staff as they were friendly and helpful It was with our room only

It had a musty smell even after we ran the air conditioner The drawers in the dresser wouldn’t stay shut We had to put something under the dresser to level and keep the drawers from opening The bathroom door stuck and was rotting on the bottom Toilet had to be flushed twice every time it was used Some of these may seem like minor inconveniences but when you are paying for comfort it matters

These five stars are for Cynthia @ the front desk Truly one of the most friendliest, authentic, and helpful hotel staff I’ve ever met As a solo traveler to ask me about how my event went I had mentioned to her the night before was so special

Cheyenne, the breakfast server was also friendly and helpful Though Marriott needs to invest in brown sugar for the oatmeal 🙂

I really wanted to like this hotel but it seemed like one thing after another Mold in the bathroom Door lock was broken

Pump bottle conditioner was out Front desk was fairly friendly and able to give us some small bottles Towels did not smell clean I think the icing on the cake was the maid who kept knocking on our door in the morning even though we hadn’t checked out She knocked twice between 9-930 am, literally saying housekeeping like David Spade while I’m trying to sleep 😂 We even had a do not disturb sign on the door I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you plan to sleep in, have a sensitivity to mold, or are worried about security
