I have been traveling more frequently and try to stay at Holiday Inns This decision is based off of my confidence in Holiday Inn I am able to comfortably stay at a hotel with the cleanliness and amenities within my budget

Unfortunately my past 3 stays made me feel that the brand’s customer service is not of importance to the company I had to travel to Long Island recently and this branch was everything I think of when staying at a hotel The room was immaculately cleaned, my bed was a cloud, the decor is updated, the woman who checked me in was professional and seemed happy to meet us and the breakfast was hot, fresh and delicious 😋

From the booking process to the check out process, everything went smoothly! Customer service was excellent! I booked the room the day of and was able to get a double queen room for a pretty decent price, considering all other hotels in the area were booked! Check in starts at 3PM, I didn’t make it to the hotel until 7/8ish PM but the wonderful receptionist did give me a call to make sure I was going to make it, and reassured me that my reservation was secure (I hadn’t paid yet, did the whole pay at location option) Housekeeping had done a good job with cleaning the room and restocking! As you can tell from pictures, there was enough parking (they had more in back), views weren’t anything special but decent for a hotel right off the highway Overall had a good stay!

Grace Wilson

The desk attendant who checked us in kept talking to her coworker in Spanish while checking us in Stayed for 5 nights room was only cleaned the first morning and the fourth day Called front desk to advise them that our room had not been cleaned for 2 days

They sent up clean towels and assured us that our room would be cleaned the following day Had to empty our own garbages Note slipped under the door advising that the room would only be cleaned the following day if we requested it Called front desk and the lady said we had been added to list already because the room was not cleaned for two days The next day room was not cleaned Went to the front desk who advised that they were not aware that we had requested that the room be cleaned Breakfast was good Requested a wake up call for day of departure that was not received

I stayed for one night for a wedding occuring at the hotel The staff was welcoming and kind, however, aside from nice front desk employees, there were too many cons to make it worth the absurd priceI booked a room and they did not give me the block price because I called 20 days from the wedding

I was told the group discount expires a month prior to the wedding and I should have booked sooner Okay, fine The 1 night stay was $328 including taxes Okay, fineWe had no washcloths in the room They did not have air conditioning on in the hallways It was very stuffy and downright hot The walls were paper thin and I could hear every guest nearby coming and going My $300 room had a view of an enclosed corridor There were no chairs in the room with two queen beds The toilet paper was the cheapest stuff on earth The toiletries were no more than dove body wash bars Breakfast downstairs was sufficient with good portions and good service but was overpricedI feel like this hotel absolutely jacked the prices for guests of the wedding, failed to honor their discount rate, and lacked basic necessities in the rooms

Being an IHG customer for over 15 years I’m used to all what IHG has to offerSo with regards to this holiday inn I would give 4 stars mainly surrounding the pricing which is really high considering I’ve stayed in both the Intercontinental Hotels for cheaper in (could of been out of season though) Manhattan Even so the reception were very helpful, kind (even though the first day I was very jet lagged and I wasn’t firing on all cylinders) and professional

Rooms were comfortable with a nice bathroom and good working ACI’d recommend for a short stop over

Kathleen Corbisiero

This was the second time we have stayed here overnight and we will continue to choose this HI for future visits to Long Island The location is conveniently located between the north and south shores, easy to get to, and the restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner The staff are all kind and courteous and the atmosphere in the lobby is very comfortable

The rooms are very comfortable and have great hot showers! A+

Every hallway in the hotel WREAKED of marijuana GM said that since marijuana is legal that there isn’t anything that can be done about it—Hey GM, smoking cigarettes is legal too

Don’t sell a room that says NON-SMOKING then People have allergies to smoke—like me The mattresses had stains GM said that’s normal except the BIG ONE that we saw—she thought that was too much But all of the other stains were acceptable according to her The slick move of charging $10 a day for “parking with security” without mentioning it prior to booking meanwhile I did not see “security” NOT ONCE I was in and out of the hotel all day and night for an entire week GM says they mention the parking fee on their website I told her we booked through bookingcom—she said she isn’t responsible for what they say or don’t say What a scam The ladies at the front desk were very pleasant That was the only thing that was good at this MOTEL What a disappointment Homewood Suites has no integrity

L Ramos

We always try to book in a Homewood suites since there are 7 of us We had hoped to enjoy our stay by spending time in the pool

Unfortunately it was closed for maintenance the entire time we were there This was a major inconvenience as we had purposely booked our trip in the middle of winter in a place that had an indoor pool The room was fine, no issues, but not having access to the pool ruined the trip with no recourse

Amanda Grey

***DON’T STAY HERE!!!***Maids must have smoked in the room both before and after we arrived for a quick stay on our way to a family funeral Since neither of us smoke, and I have asthma, I wanted to report the room immediately because the smoke was disgusting but we had no time We went to the wake, came back to sleep, left early for the funeral and the manager is swearing that we smoked in the room and charging us

Liar liar pants on fire Don’t stay here The maids will screw you and you will literally pay with your wallet since the manager does not believe honest guests

I am staying 2 nights here I give the hotel workers a 5 hands down The corporation I give a 2

I am writing this review because I can see that the hotel workers are doing a great job, but the corporation leaves them with few resources The hotel workers were excellent, kind and helpful The issue was there was a leak in the ceiling in the breakfast room When we arrived at breakfast I sat in a chair and it was soaking wet I could not see the wet place because it was a fabric color that did not reveal the wet I went and changed and ate breakfast One sweet hustling breakfast attendant was there I did not want to interrupt them, so I moved the chair and got a new one Then I started getting a drip, drop on my head and shoulder I looked up and there was a dripping vent over me I went to the front desk and told the woman there She asked me to see the breakfast attendant I told her the attendant was very busy (she was hustling as the only person working breakfast) and maybe they could get someone else She said yes, again, very apologetic and helpful So we switched tables and ate On the way back up to the room I let the woman at the desk know I had moved the chairs and there was a puddle on the floor I seriously would have mopped it up if I had a mop 🙂 Clearly there is very little staff I know this is happening all over I feel very bad for these workers they need more compensation and respect I thanked the front desk person for doing all they could

This Hampton Inn location is close to a shopping center with several restaurants The rooms are clean and the employees are courteous Overall its a nice place to stay

Two minor things to keep in mind There is a $10 / night parking fee Also, it is right next to a main highway Neither of these things are bad, but something to be aware of when you make your choice of where to stay

Absolutely 10 out 5 stars, this place was so great and made my wedding day so special We got married May of 2021 and had originally planned our wedding upstate shortly after getting engaged in 2018 then covid hit in 2020 and 5 months before our wedding our venue canceled We understood that due to covid they had to so we got our deposit back and began our search for a new venue

We came across The East Wind and they were so kind and helpful and we were even able to keep our original wedding date We had a small wedding of about 45 people and they made the day so great and the space was so beautiful Luis our event manager was fantastic and made sure everything went according to plan and that we had everything we needed I would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone Thank you East Wind for making my day so special

Cassandra Ambrosius

The wedding venue was incredible! The food was great, the staff was amazing and the space itself was gorgeous But the hotel is another story The rooms are outdated – pealing wallpaper, cracked sinks, no refrigerator in the room, no fitted sheets

Then the fire alarm went off at 7 am and the hot water had to be turned off The rooms need a makeover

Evelyn Boileau

The staff, our MaitreD Reid was amazing, my bridal assistant was wonderful The food was amazing Our wedding was beautiful

Everything turn out really great As a bride I was well taken care ofWould highly recommend East Wind as a venue for wedding or any event or celebration that you may panningA very special Thank you to Scott who started with us from the very begining Phenomenal service

Nice, spacious, comfortable rooms with nice amenities Loved the separate work / sitting area that is separated from the bedroom Also liked that the toilet was separate from the bathroom

Beds and pillows were comfy and soft…made for a good night’s rest Front desk staff was super friendly and welcoming Breakfast was great and breakfast staff were very kind and friendly too Overall a great stay…highly recommended!!!

Sarah Young

I had an amazing time here at Springhill! The staff is amazing especially Tom from the front desk! But everyone was super nice and Friendly The rooms are cleaned everyday (Unless you don’t want) plenty of parking

Breakfast is basic but hot and delicious I would recommend everyone to stay here The only disappointment was that the pool was closed due to construction

Valentino Tartamella

The rooms are nice and clean, as one would expect, and the hotel features a tiny pool and fitness area for hotel members The complimentary breakfast is more casual; there is little hot food, one waffle maker, some pastries, coffee, and juice You have everything you need to have a nice stay, and the staff here are very friendly, but the reason for my low review is you’re paying premium prices for an average experience

Wait for some discounts to come and then reserve a night here

We just checked in and have always enjoyed our stay here over the years We have come for quick getaways, had parties here with our family and friends and enjoyed the restaurant and club The rooms have always been perfect and the staff wonderful

Until today We booked a specific room because we are traveling with five people 2 beds and a pull out When I arrived I notice one of the papers said $239 but I didn’t think anything of it because I thought to myself the A balance would be taken care of on check out We get to the room and it’s the wrong room Not the room we paid for I go back to the desk and the attendant says “ well yea we ran out of rooms and my manager just left and gave you a discount” no phone call at any point to tell me this as we came from four hours away So I explain this won’t work We need the room we paid for I asked to speak to the manager and she goes in the back and says “ he said he won’t talk to you he is off now, not much more I can do we are sold out, we can make up the sofa” Meanwhile the sofa sleeper was for the two kids so we are still short a bed Terrible customer service and communication! So disappointed

Patricia Bugland

I was at Danford’s for a Sunday Brunch, not a weekend stay The place is so very pretty! Service was great My friends and I were seated at a lovely spot facing the water and enjoyed the fine food in a lovely setting on a gorgeous day

We were all sorry that the pandemic kept us from a return visit for so long, relieved that it survived I hope to be back this summer!

Matthew Repecki

Rooms are in pretty rough shape even after renovation, do not get a street view room if u want to sleep as it is obnoxiously loud Front desk staff is nice but can do little to help other than offer a 20 percent discount Not really worth the price of the rooms at all, is similar to a 2 star hotel

Nice area and views though once you leave the room

I stayed here over the weekend of August 12th 2022 Location was excellent for my needs The front desk staff were very nice! This is an older facility and could use some refreshing

The bed was comfy and the AC worked wellOnly one light bulb, of the three, in the bathroom vanity area were working The bathtub did not fully drain leaving a puddle that made an ugly ring My room was not serviced by housekeeping during my stay even though I requested service at the front desk at 1 pm In all, a below average experience for a Residence Inn and a bit pricey

Sarah Sumrall

I chose this hotel because they advertise an airport shuttle, which they do not have in service Therefore, I had to spend nearly $50 for an Uber Additionally, I had an early flight

The checking person told me there would be a few breakfast items to grab on my way out However, there was nothing, not even coffee available with no one in sight at the front desk The room at least was very nice and clean

David Wright

This place has really gone downhill Sofas and chairs are ancient and sag to a point of being unusable The counters are wiped clean but it it is clear from the grease on cupboards that others have been cooking there

Air conditioner is so noisy you can’t sleep No hot water one night The staff is friendly and helpful but clearly the place is not taken care of

We are former Sayville residents, as we grew up here We have been booking monthly stays here for the past several years Our recent July stay in room 10 was again awesome

Patty and the ladies that work there go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible The room is clean and whatever extras you need, they are happy to oblige It’s convenient to all as you have the Great South Bay directly across the street, Sayville Beach is across the street, the ferries are around the corner, and local Main St Sayville dining is just a mere 5-minute drive through the back streets of south Sayville So it’s in a great location The stay is affordable as well Call Patty up and book a room To us, it’s like staying at a Montauk motel You won’t go wrongThanks again Patty for making our vacation awesome!

Kelli Cobuzio

Very convenient place to stay after a wedding Room was clean and spacious The bed was a little too firm and it could have used more pillows which we would have asked for if the office was still open when we got there

But otherwise, we were very impressed The staff called me the day of to confirm we were doing a late checkin and that are key would be in our room I would have given 5 stars if the beds were more comfortable Overall very nice place

Average and clean hotel with pleasant staff Major complaint is that the Hotel has its main floor reception area bathroom locked and my 75 year old husband had to walk to Starbucks to use a bathroom The reason given “due to Covid” doesn’t make sense since they have an open seating area, breakfast which is included, dining area and indoor pool all open

Just not the bathroom

Dana Olszewski

We never even stayed in the room it was so bad it smelled and everything was very sketchy at check in There was smoke smell and marijuana in the room and coming from the other rooms was partying I was told I still had to pay even though I was not sleeping in that environment and no other rooms available

I switched to a new hotel bc it was so bad The security guard at the front did nothing about the parties and left when I was complaining to the front desk which seemed very odd I was told I could not speak with a manager that they could only be emailed Worst experience ever Was in the hotel maybe 15 minutes Something just was not right

We had our wedding at the Three Village Inn We chose them because for multiple reasons First Tom our point of contact was incredible from the sales process all the way through to the big day

He made everything very east and fun Next, the banquet rooms and grounds are perfect for a fun not to over the top wedding We were also able to sample the food which was amazing and so hard to choose what we wanted Now the day of the wedding went off without a hitch, Ashanti the bridal attendant left no detail undone and was with my bride and myself every step of the way Our host walked us through everything step by step and made us look like we’ve done this many times(we haven’t) If your looking for a wedding, or party venue on Long Island book the Three Village Inn you will not be disappointed

i was at the three village for my best friends wedding most of the staff was very sweet and helpful however, the woman who runs around in a pantsuit was not

she had been nasty to multiple friends and spoke badly about guests theres no reason to be nasty, especially not to guests i’d advise her to try to keep it together before other people start speaking out

This is our second time staying here, Very clean and comfortable staff are friendly, I’m staying here for more than a week so I wanted the top floor they have 4 floors they gave me the 3rd The people above us you can hear every footstep Very annoying epecially they get up so early and I have to listen to them walking back and forth

This is not a cheap hotel why can’t they build better floors so I do not have to hear someone above walking back and forth Rooms are very clean comfortable beds mini kitchen which is great Bathroom clean but a bit tightAlso the breakfast was Mediocre Whose idea was it to put whole-grain waffle batter? Really?? Maybe let’s have a choice? Breakfast could be better weak coffee It’s a fairly new hotel but I noticed some wear and tear already from my stay a year ago Bathroom faucet very loose bathroom door lock broken Next year when I come back into town I may think about staying here againRequested the top four I

We stayed here to be close to a wedding in Great River and also to my sister in law’s house in Bohemia It’s our “go-to” hotel for these kinds of weekend visits and we couldn’t be more pleased with this place It’s clean, the rooms are great and spacious, the front desk service is unbelievably pleasant (yes, even during and after COVID) and they had the sweetest, most helpful breakfast server

I don’t know if they’re paying their employees well, but it certainly seems like they’re doing something right to have hired the best staff It’s always an enjoyable stay Thank you!

Had an overnight stay for a wedding The block of rooms reserved was not clustered together The room smelled of smoke, despite the big sign at the end of the corridor that it was a smoke free building

The AC was weird- it would kick on very low, then go to full fan very quicklyThe bathroom was clean and modern, good shower pressure and controlThe staff was very pleasant, and despite having guests for 3 weddings, was on top of delivering gift bags for each without problems The breakfast the next morning was scrambled eggs, bacon, muffins, croissants, bagels, yogurt, and coffee There could have been more tables and chairs, based on the number of registered guests for that wedding

I am a Hilton diamond member with over a million miles and I travel to this area twice per month – our corporate HQ is nearby I kept this hotel in my rotation of local places I stay up til now – long after colleagues decided this hotel was no longer up to par for various reasons But today I closed the book on this hotel

Simple issue that could have been resolved so easily, but Albert at the front desk chose to quote hotel policy rather than listen to me As a diamond member every Hilton provides you with free bottled water and quite often they are very friendly and don’t really care if it is water you choose or another drink When I checked in I told the woman at check-in that as a diamond member I get water but would rather have diet cokes She told me to grab whatever I wanted, but must have misheard me, as upon checkout, I noticed I was charged $5 for the diet cokes I explained the confusion to Albert at the desk the next morning at checkout but he would not take the $5 off my $200 bill – just quoted policy – free water – not diet coke As a former manager of a retail store -as well as a frequent traveler – I know how easy it would have been to smile and apologize for the confusion and credit the $5 for the drinks And of course, I am not hard up for $5 – this would be paid for by my company anyway It was of course the principle of the matter To pick a battle with a diamond member over two diet cokes was just stupid and I have canceled my two future reservations and won’t come back This should have been so easy for him

Decent hotel I was there for work travel Asked for a quiet room on a high floor away from elevator bank and ice machines

They put me on the top floor but on the side next to the busy street and athletic fields which were quite loud at night I was also put in a room that had potential to be an adjoining room and could really hear my “adjoining” neighbor So I would say only 50% of my request was fulfilled Food and bar were decent but limited Hotel was very busy on the weekend and definitely much more quiet on weekdays No hairdryer in my room Had to ask for one Other guests varied – business travel people, wedding guests, athletic teams, people attending court nearby I will probably stay here again for business travel, but now know what to expect

Great hotel The staff was friendly professional and helpful Clean environment and laid out well

Place to drink and eat and relax Outdoor fire pit, good seating area Nice pool and fitness center Clean rooms The only item I can list was one coffee cup in the room for two adults That would not stop me from going back Great hotel

The coolest mermaid-y hotel rooms in the Islip/Patchogue area with great decor Very spacious Mostly nice front desk staff, but the fact that they made us hunt down the luggage cart ourselves by getting off the elevator on every floor and searching for it at 1am (after calling an hour earlier to ask if it could be available when we arrived) loses them a star

They told us no promises because someone else could be using it (fair), but they didn’t say they’d make us go find it ourselves if a rude guest just left it outside their room!
