DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL FOR EVENTS AT SPOOKY NOOK! They will charge you even if your event is cancelledMy basketball team’s tournament was cancelled 2 days prior to arrival When we called the warehouse hotel to cancel and refund our reservation, they would not provide a full refund given we were within 72 hours of our arrival

DISASTER! The reason we aren’t coming is because Spooky Nook cancelled our tournament and alerted us within the 72 hour window!! Complete bait and switch Shameful to cancel on an event and still charge you when you no longer have a reason to come to the facility! Speaks to their greed and customer service Do not trust this hotel They will screw you

I booked a Sights and Sounds show, I requested a 7pm show I was booked the deal! Here’s what I got arrived at 4pm for check in was presented with tickets to show that was booked for 3pm I stated that there was a mistake the clerk said oh no there’s never a show at 7pm on week days

Smh in discuss I asked to speak with the manager Was told none would be available until tomorrow, I asked where’s the restaurant and was told it was closed 🙃 Now I can’t get a meal or a show 🤔 but I can stay in the room with no microwave and I want to cry! This place is on a secluded dirt road and should be named the old alley The desk chair in my room almost put me on the floor 🙃 I feel like I’ve stepped into the twilight zone! I’ve never experienced anything like this and I don’t recommend this place! Over 2hrs drive and the only thing available to eat is about another 30 minutes drive I can’t believe this 😫 and there’s no accountability! That’s why I decided to warn others this place is a whole in the wall and they bamboozled me good! Don’t let this happen to you purchase your own tickets for shows there’s no emails sent out so you don’t have a clue about what’s actually purchase, until you arrive YOU’VE BEEN WARNED AND THE STAFF NEEDS SENSITIVITIES TRAINING AND DIVERSITY TRAINING That young ignorant clerk ought to be glad that I know Jesus

Emma Daniels

My whole anniversary was a bust The booking agent screwed me up I wanted 😒 evening show and received tickets for a show that started a hr before My check in time I told front desk clerk that there’s a mistake and she told me to call theater I did and was told that the hotel would have to switch tickets

When I was told tickets are non refundable I have literally been sick since! I would check out but the drive home is so long 😩 don’t let my experience become yours book your own TICKETS AND THERE MUCH BETTER HOTELS ALSO RESTAURANT ONLY OPEN ON WEEKEND I DROVE 37 MINUTES TO FIND A RESTAURANT SMH THE FOOD WAS OVER PRICED AND A ADDED DISAPPOINTMENT 😞 YOU’VE BEEN WARNED ⚠️

From the mouth of babes: “Best hotel Ever” Mind you she hasn’t been to many This is one of the best budget friendly hotels we’ve been to

Breakfast: big props to the cook, he kept everything clean, well stocked, hot, deliciousPool: not grimy like some of the other hotels we’ve seen It is not a 5 star pool in a ritzy hotelBeds: best bed – firm and somehow so comfortable – I’ve ever slept on in a hotel-wish I have the same one at homeWashrooms: it is not 100% updated, but again not going to a 5 star hotel so my expectation was in line It was clean enoughFloors: noticeably vacuumed but I’d say they’d probably miss some corners AcceptableStaff were all 💯 great Loved our stay Pay it forward and leave tips for the staff so they keep doing a good job!!

It was okay First room was very smokey with perfume overtones, but we were switched to another room without problem Room was stuffy, found some garbage in a cup but otherwise seemed clean

Quiet rooms Our beds were about 6/10 comfort for people who like soft beds as compared to firm Rooms need painting and a good cleaningBreakfast staff was pretty rude but food was good for price Pool was nice, indoors Probably will go with Hilton as opposed to this place again

Jenn Latz

We ended up at this hotel because of a gross experience at a different one 6 minutes away We were visiting Hersheypark and it was really close at an affordable price Once we arrived it was a relief to see it was clean and welcoming

The pool was a favorite of the kids and the breakfast spread was amazing The kids loved the waffle marker and the coffee was amazing Would definitely recommend!

Clean, comfortable, accommodatingThe room looks like the photos, is completely cleaned, and had absolutely no problems with check in or the room The gentleman Logan at the check in desk was very polite and accommodating We were able to see the rooms prior to checking in and all questioned were answered promptly and fully

There’s a full breakfast in the morning and a pool The hotel appears to be clean and well maintained Great place to stay

Tori O

I stayed for one night (Sunday to Monday):Relatively new property The exterior is nice and well kept The interior lobby was also well kept and clean

The front desk agent, didn’t catch his name, was very friendly, quick and helpful The fitness room was nicer than most hotelsThe room was an overall B As a pet friendly hotel I expect some animal hair But the shower was completely filled with it And the bedding is tucked in a way that you don’t see the comforter However, when I untucked the top flat sheet there was a orange stain on the comforter The fan stayed on all night despite the setting on heatThe walls were very thin I could hear the conversations of the people next door as well as the running in the hallway above

Anastasia Paszkiewicz

This hotel was beautiful, clean and the staff was so friendly I’m not typically a guest at Best Western hotel customer – picked this one because of location – what a wonderful discovery Great location, complimentary breakfast, friendly staff, indoor pool! I would have thought I was staying at a Hampton Inn

Would recommend to anyone

My family and I were pleasantly surprised at just how nice this motel was and how well kept it was Pool is outside but clean and nice Rooms are updated with wonderful TV’s, decent sized refrigerators, and microwaves, irons, hairdryers, and coffee although single cup

But larger cups and coffee along with sodas and water available in the office The family that runs this place are lovely warm friendly people that take a lot of pride in the place The rooms are simple, but clean and updated A/C ran perfectly and a wonderful hot shower with great water pressure! Beds are comfortable and nice clean sheets Remember this is a motel, not a hotel We only stayed 1 night but it was safe and a nice experience at a great price Restaurants are numerous and close because it is Hershey Your about 5 minutes from the park We will definitely be back for a stay again!

I have been staying at the White Rose Motel everytime I’m in town for the past 12 years! Absolutely love this place! Nice friendly staff, always clean and they constantly update and upgraded the motel It’s very well keptWhen I first stayed here I felt like I was in a movie from the 1950s

Kids in the pool, the staff pulled out a card table and was playing cards and games with some of the guests outside of the office Other guests drinking coffee out on the wrap around top floor It was just such a cool experience! I highly recommend this place!

Natalie Desrosiers

Diamond in the rough!!! The rooms/bathroom are on the small side We stayed in a room with a king bed and brought a queen size blow up mattress Thee was just enough room between the king bed and queen blowup mattress to put our suitcase hind the bathroom door

(We only had 1 large suitcase) Not super modern but VERY clean!!! The staff were very pleasant and accommodating The pool was open, however we did not use as we were gone all day exploring Hershey! Highly recommend and will definitely be staying next time we visit Hershey!

Very basic hotel as expected We wanted somewhere close to Hershey very cheap and that pricing came with a basic room The room was pretty clean no bad smells like some hotels

Nice location and the staff are all very nice! We didn’t have breakfast but saw it was a very basic breakfast again to be expected with the price Oatmeal, fruit and juices but there is a Dunkin close by The beds weren’t bad and the TV and air conditioning worked great Very close to a lot and beautiful views around There’s a huge town pool with water slide and park within ten minutes! We would probably stay again Giving five stars since it was exactly as described as a very basic hotel and seams to be run by a great family

Clara Artley

I was surprised of how CLEAN it was! The last Americas Best Value I stayed at was so disgusting we left immediately! This place is CLEAN AND he was nice! I personally did not sleep in room (stayed with vehicle, did not know areaSorry the person who actually stayed in the room was rude! However, when they called desk at 2am they ANSWERED!! The person needed the time ! I again am sorry the person I was transporting seems to think the world evolves around him and we’ll let me put it this way ,when I drive if I have to back up , he gets out and watches and then would take my wheel and steer(because I’m female he would rather do it!! I just let it be because he will get his karma!

The McKinnons Epic Journey The McKinnon Family

This place is great for exactly what we needed, a clean bed, cold room, and close to Hershey park The rooms have a microwave and a fridge It is located in a nice area of town

There is a Dunkin Donuts down the street 6 min drive to a grocery store, Dollar Tree, and Dominos There is also a very close local pizza store and a convenience store down the street The hotel does have thin walls where you can hear the street cars, but we sleep with white noise in the background so it did not bother us too much There is a pool and breakfast too The owners clean the room daily

We had a great stay at this hotel Staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy We booked this hotel because it was more affordable for the kids

(We decided they were going to kick in some money for our weekend getaway) I generally try to book newer hotels but with this being an older hotel it is well maintained Rooms were spacious and clean Lots to do for the kids including 2 pools, game room, ping pong and a pool table Great location also Will definitely be back!Noelle W

I booked this hotel as a stop over for our band returning to Minnesota after a tour in Boston Jane from the sales team was amazing getting everything set up Communication from initial call to arrival was awesome

When we arrived they had everything ready for a quick check in Because we arrived later than planned they adjusted the pool hours so the kids had time to swim Due to mechanical issues with our bus we needed to stay later than our scheduled check out They gave us a room to store luggage, showed us the locker rooms so the kids could enjoy the outdoor pool The manager Randy was very accommodating He helped us order pizza since we were scheduled to eat on the road He had space for us to eat Highly recommend this hotel for a group!!!

Evelyn Carbajales

We had a great stay! We stayed in the family suite and our room was nice and comfortable, the beds are spacious and also comfortable The hotel felt very welcoming the moment I walked in to check-in! I got to meet the owner Randy and he was super nice and generous! I definitely recommend coming to this hotel if you’re going to Hershey park or just coming around the area for fun!

Great service at the desk – friendly, resourceful, and safe (didn’t have delivery come to our door, but called us for it), room was clean and comfortable, great layout that made it feel bigger than most places I’ve stayed in My toddler daughter was obsessed with the claw machine and the chair in the room It was also a nice quiet room, despite being in the front side, closest to the road, and one of the first rooms after conference rooms

Air was comfortable and quiet Pool was disappointing – I kept feeling hairs catch on my arms and legs and they had swim lessons and public access at the same time in a relatively small pool The poor swim instructor had to tell the non-guest kids not to jump in, even though it’s a rule – the kid doing it was maybe 10 or 11 and her students were infant to maybe 4 The bathroom and shower floors were also pretty slippery – the shower, with soap, which is a little to be expected, but the bathroom floor, with just a little water The way the shower was set up made it impossible not to get the floor soaked, too Overall, a great stay and would stay here again!

I’ve never reviewed a hotel before, but have stayed at many, but this one was so bad I had to warn other people First thing: night shift employees are very nice and helpful, and are exempt from the rest of this review Also, the beds are comfortable and the rooms decent

That’s where the positives end The sheets were stained by some sort of dirt or oil when we walked in, and these weren’t tiny stains They took up the whole portion of where the top half of the body lays on one side of the bed That’s never happened before, and it was quite disconcerting The wash clothes were also heavily stained with mascara I’ve never seen such dirty linens right when I walk into a hotel room before The real problem, however, is the people The day shift people, particularly some of the housekeeping staff and the general manager, are shockingly rude, hateful, and uncaring When we came out of our room at about 9:30 one morning, we saw a housekeeper We figured she wouldn’t clean our room that day, given COVID policies, so we kindly asked if we could have some clean towels when she had a second She glared at us and told us that we had to put our dirty ones outside of the room and then someone would replace them, that was the rule/how it worked We explained that we didn’t even have enough towels when we got there for 4 people, and just needed some extras She continued to glare, roll her eyes, and dismiss us, so one member of our party went to get our 2 used towels to exchange with her She asked where we should put them, gesturing to a bin she thought was laundry The housekeeper scolded her and said “not there, I don’t deal with the dirty stuff” We were so shocked by the whole encounter that we just left the hotel without saying anything to each other I’ve literally never encountered someone so rude and hateful at a hotel before I know people have bad days, but this was extreme When we returned the following two nights, no towels had been put in our room and housekeeping hadn’t even been in there We eventually just had to go get towels and clean sheets, which wasn’t a big deal, but we would have appreciated some direction to these supposed housekeeping rules to avoid the scolding When a member of my party kindly explained what had happened once we checked out, she noticed the general manager standing next to the employee she was talking to He made no acknowledgment of her or her issues, and simply left the area Horrible experience! I feel bad for the few kind workers we encountered It seems like they have to struggle to pick up the slack that their daytime counterparts leave behind We will never stay at another Hotel Indigo, and I advise that you don’t either

Bryanna Meade

This hotel is by far my favorite one in the area Even though some hotels are a little cheaper in the surrounding areas, I will always pay a little extra for the great service, cleanliness, and comfort this hotel has to offer I usually have a hard time sleeping but these beds are so comfortable that I’m able to sleep through the entire night

I rarely hear noise from other rooms/guests which is amazing I love how this hotel is also pet friendly This hotel is the most modern and updated one I’ve seen in the area and it’s in a great location which is close to everything

Richard Swett

The hotel and rooms are modern but nicely appointed My bed was extremely comfortable and clean I never stayed in a hotel room before where the window took up the whole wall

The window has a sun curtain and blackout curtain to keep out any light The bathroom follows suit and is quite modern but has wonderful fixtures The one thing that amazed me was how quiet the room isno outside noise bothered me while I was sleeping I can’t wait to return

Being a very old building, you cannot hold it to the same level as a fancy pants hotel But that’s why we chose it Yes, the furniture has some wear and the bathroom looked like Aunt Betty’s 1970’s house

That made it feel like you were visiting family! In a nice wayThere were some hiccups such as no towels in the bathroom But the staff was quick to correct Overall, everyone we encountered was very friendlyThe places we wanted to go to were about 30 minutes away I felt it was worth it to enjoy the scenic drives

jet heng

Owner was very accommodating Can’t fault the elevator broke down the night before arrival One of the room had the ac went out but we propped up the window with a paper towel roll

We totally understand that the hotel was built during the civil war; maybe why the bed was hard The streets were very noisy by 5am with semis roaming through like nobody’s business Staff is nice My only complaint was no breakfast during the week although it said price included continental breakfast The September was the only alternative for breakfast with 20% senior discount Nevertheless, this hotel is very historic!

John Buckwalter

Awesome weekly and Monthly rate If you aren’t appreciative of the staff you should be ashamed They’ll go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home

This isn’t the Ritz Carlton It’s a very fair priced hotel and restaurant, with a good atmosphere in the downstairs pub, and upstairs restaurant I lived here for about 2 months, couldn’t have been more easy going and helping staff I’ve encountered Even at hotels in Vail and Aspen, I didn’t get the personal and enjoyable staff experience I did here, with both hotel and restaurant staff

Great place for pets and family, and down the road from the park!Their reservation service will price match from valid online offers — I sent a saved HTML of payment page just before payment with online with cheapest e-booking, and they matched!Call ahead if you have a larger dog (read their online policy) but management was very accommodating, and most pleasant to speak to Has a great spot for your pooch to walk and poop with a lawn behind the hotel away from traffic — but don’t forget to bring a baggie as their dispenser near the garbage was empty for my stay Still, the lawn was poop free

Indoor pool was clean and comfortable, and the loin-spawn had a blast using it I did not try to bring the dog into the pool, and I would not recommend itBreakfast service was tasty, and well kept, and would also recommend that over local restaurants for the convenience and cost savings for larger groups Food service ran like clockwork thanks to Donna, the Breakfast Manager for my visitOnly complaint might be thin walls for my room, but it wasn’t really an issue after 9 pmI plan to stay again

Langly Boops

I wanted to rate this higher but I just can’t in good faith do that cause the beds were so bad, you’re better off sleeping on the floor Why were they so hard??? I’m glad I was there for just 1 night cause I can’t imagine being there longer than that I also woke up with backaches and the a/c kept turning off and on keeping me and my family up all night

It wasn’t a fun timeThe complimentary breakfast was good and the staff was very nice but the main reason you go to an inn is to sleep If you can’t sleep then it defeats the purpose So yeah Please spend more money on better mattresses

T. Michael Rearic

Very nice hotel Everything was clean and the staff was great The complimentary breakfast was a little lacking, as they all are but, the restaurant next door serves the best breakfast I have ever eaten in a restaurant

We came to Hershey for a concert and the hotel was exactly ONE mile from the Hershey theater Parking was easy Trip was great Thanks, Hampton Inn

There was hair all over the room;beds, shower, there were even potato chips crumbles under the bed, then lots of noise and slaming doors,we couldn’t sleep We reported everything only they did was send a couple to wipe the hairs, nothing was done about the noise, not even a courtesy call, and the person at the breakfast station was very rudeIt is a good location,it is a nice place, I surely hope they put more attention to it

Claudia Barion-Rosario

I was very impressed with this hotel Located only 8 minutes from Hershey Park, Downtown and Hotel it is definitely a jewel The gentleman that checked us in was very calm and polite despite for the fact that the computer was down

The room was very clean, comfortable bed and pillows and the most unusual design for a shower and the best I have seen and I have stayed at the Peninsula Hotel in Beijing, Le Meridien in Malta and The St Regis in Washington DC So kudos to the engineers at Choice International If I had to say one thing is to improve the coffee

Although I only stayed one night, the room was very cleanThere was no noise problem either from outside or within the building

The bed was very comfortableThe price was reasonableThe full breakfast was a bonusThe only slight issue would be the curtains not made to close completely for room darkening although there was minimaloutside lightAll in all, highly recommended

Stayed here two nights to go to Hersey park A 22 minute ride from the park just perfect All the hotels closer to the park were way to expensive

This hotel was perfectly priced, very clean, all the staff was so nice said good morning before you could even open your mouth That was a pleasure Will definitely use them for next years Hersey park stay

Have you ever tried to sleep while a hotel apparently does drilling on the first floor (or at least that’s what they said was happening) the entire building shaking like an earth quake For days on end Trying to work remote was a Miserable experience

Front desk (men) were rude 5 days into our stay they Continued to loudyell across the lobby “is that a service dog!!?” Despite the fact that we’d called ahead and his license was on file with them The front desk ladies were super nice And the breakfasts were the best!!! But as always since covid No daily cleanings You had to schedule 24+ hours in advance Hoping the team makes arrangements for another hotel next year!!!!! (We let the team know our experience) hotel was clean and you could not hear the keys inside the hotel which was great!

We were greeted warmly by Debbie and Lela They were very helpful with answeringour questions and guiding us to local sites Every staff member acknowledged us pleasantly

The hotel has a wonderful workout room and indoor pool/hot tub It was extremely clean throughout and the outside grounds were well manicured and tidy Our room was large and very comfortable We enjoyed the special touch of chocolate scented air fresheners

A great stay and experience; the pool was phenomenal and has an attached Hot Tub! My only complaints were that the Elevators did not feel entirely confident and secure, and that the Fast and the Furious Arcade machines in the arcade were down Guest Services was polite and to the point I plan on coming back during the summer with my girlfriend after enjoying it with my niece and sister!

Celia Rae Stever

We swam in the pool and after my friend asked me if my tattoo was raised and itchy because hers was The next morning I woke up and mine was also raised and itchy Either they had bed bugs or a mystery STD in the pool water, either way, gross

The sides of the pool were also very slimy The rooms were nasty The water in both the shower and the sinks got way too hot and burned me multiple times My friend’s door would not close completely or lock properly Anyone could have broken in with ease The elevators did not at all feel secure and one actually stopped on us in the middle of the ride and one of the workers said that it was pretty common If you plan on staying here, maybe consider another hotel Or bring bed bug spray Whatever floats your boat

The entire staff were excellent Never hesitated with any request The location is beautiful

The outside is well landscaped and maintained Plenty of parking and the pool was amazing Inside is gorgeous with spacious seating in the lobby and breakfast area Stayed there for 4 nights Check in/out, quick and easy If we are ever in the vicinity in the future, that’s my stay

Juan & Sharon Lopez

The hotel staff was very friendly and the hot breakfast was as expected in a Hampton Inn (yum!) The room we stayed in needed some maintenance to keep the voices and light from the adjacent room from being heard and seen Easy fixes that I made them aware of, so I am sure they will fix easily! Issue is easy to overlook if the staff is not made aware of

We enjoyed the stay and I am sure you would also just check your room upon arrival to ensure it’s quiet 🙂

This staff deserve some damn good accolades for how they handled the loud and obnoxious sports teams this past weekend at the hotel They made the hotel their playground and let their little princesses scream and run around like this was Chuck E Cheese The staff maintained calm and professional

They even had the luxury of cleaning up after the group left The facility itself is great and I am sure quiet on any other occasion Room 137- feel free to be a parent here and there
