The cleanest of hotels I’ve ever been to thus far! The room I had first floor was very spacious with modern furnishings, clean fixtures with modern amenities, very quiet (YES QUIET & peaceful, despite being next to I-295) The front desk receptionist are truly hospitable welcoming! I am very happy I stayed here for just a night The value for such great affordability is so much greater I will definitely come back next time

Free Breakfast is a plus!

The rooms were a decent size and the hotel was pretty quiet overall Staff was friendly and greets you every time you are in and out The pool is cute and outside, a little weird with the location, but not bad

The beds were comfy and the sheets were soft The bathroom was spotless The fridge was a nice size, we could keep some drinks and leftovers in the fridge There is a Culver’s close by and also a Walmart and Costco Its located right off the expressway and close to an ER too

The rooms in the tower are

Okay If you don’t mind a small bathroom If your room number starts with a seven or higher Good luck You are in the 1970s Holiday inn out back You will definitely get your steps in getting out to your room from the lobby Front desk service is above average Restaurant service, food, prices, drinks, wait times are well below the norm Do not eat here You will starve before your food arrives and you will end up paying two to three times the value of what you get Drinks are not priced appropriately for a second rate Hotel bar, at the airport Overall, the hotel needs a serious refresh Attention should also be paid to maintenance The elevators are not in great shape There is also a massive plumbing leak in the lobby

Overall great hotel The staff I encountered was very nice and pleasant From the front desk clerk to the house keeping lady

Check-in was very smooth and easy Room was nice and clean, every day Bathroom is very small but no big deal The air didn’t seem to be working very well It wasn’t hot but it wasn’t the coldest Over all a good place to stay I’d return if I’m ever in the area again

Jennifer Fredericks

We arrived at the hotel warm multiple people were checking in on a Friday night They had one very nice lady at the desk trying to manage the entire front desk check in along with phones Management needs to staff appropriately and not have one person

I felt bad for the front desk lady She was professional efficient and polite I expect much better from Hilton Shame on management

My first and only issue was with a 3rd party that I used to book the reservation I requested two nights, got confirmation for two nights, but when I checked in I discovered that Hampton only had one night in their system The front desk, easily resolved the issue and I ended up with a better price

The accommodations and the customer service at this property were more than satisfactory The staff was very friendly, cheerful, and very professional The complimentary exceeded my expectations of motel fast food service My wife and I were surprised that the food was made with fresh ingredients of good quality, well prepared, and the presentation/serving was very professional The serving/dining areas were attractive and very clean The only regret that I have is that I had more than seconds helpings

Ethel Raymond

This hotel stay by far has been one of the best that I have experienced and I have been to plenty of hotels Trudy the manager was very informative when we spoke on what was needed for my event planner to be able to come and set up the room Tiffany at the front desk was so helpful and such a kind soul

She helped me book for another night with ease Nichole at the front desk was very polite and so was all the other staff there Unfortunately I can not remember all the names of the staff I had encounters with there, but each one of them were amazing They really have a great team at this site Room was clean, no complaints there I will definitely stay here again every time that I come to this city

Angie Rivera

Arrived at 9pm to check in and was greeted with a friendly smile and a hello even though she was taking care of another guest They were in the process of remodeling so the front desk was a little awkwardMy clerk got us on the top floor so that we wouldn’t be disturbed with any noise since we had to get up early for a flight

The only thing I didnt like was the elevators were not kept clean Only one elevator could be used due to renovating So it got plenty of use You can tell by all of the hand prints on the elevator doorsOverall the room was very clean We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the bathroom and beds The room was very nice and the hotel clerks were great The complimentary breakfast was also amazing

Room was clean and nice Front desk was helpful, breakfast was good, there was always coffee available and it’s a stones throw from a public beach Can’t go wrong with that even on a business trip!!Only issue I had being there for 10 days (for work) was the fridge in the room was way to damn small 🤷🏻‍♂️

Erin Andrews

I booked the whirlpool suite due to recent back injections and the need to get some relief from the pain The whirlpool spa was just an oversized bathtub because it didn’t work I asked for a manager and nobody got back to me

I’m so disappointed that I payed all this money for a service that didn’t work And by the reviews, it wasn’t the first time Very disappointed!!!

Suite had a kitchen, but microwave did not work The one appliance that I would have used I reported it and was directed to a community microwave down the hall

Appreciated CoVid measures in the room Phones and remotes wrapped, antibacterial wipes provided, etc Room was quiet Pillows were great Staff was friendly Easy access to I-295

Kelly Ruston

Very happy with our stay! Kitchenette was lovely, full sized fridge and all the extras including plates etc Nice large desk, comfy reclining chair next to the bed, and the bathroom was clean and spacious The key card reader was a little finicky to get into the room

There were two really lovely gazebos out back, both of which featured a grill along with seating Security patrolled outside overnight, so we felt very safe and weren’t concerned about our vehicle Location was great, easy on/off the highway and a few places to order delivery from

Leah LaBounty

I’ve stayed here for a couple of extended stays Rooms and common areas are always clean Rooms have kitchenettes and full size fridges which is awesome; everything worked well

Free laundry, little gym area, often a selection of food/snacks/beverages/travel size toiletries Staff are all friendly and helpful, and do a good job of keeping everything clean A lot of long term stay guests Couple different outdoor areas with grills, there is a little pond in the back The area is kinda walkable but not a ton of stuff in the immediate area No pool or anything but the beach is close Great location, easy to get all around Jax and surrounding areas, right off 95 and 202 Usually a pretty quiet area as well I don’t really have any complaints!

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your room This web site will compare hundreds of hotel sites and usually will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This hotel is one of the highest rated in this area

I’ve been staying here for a long time If you decide to stay here you for sure won’t regret itStaff was so nice and the facility was so clean The workout room was great – only wish that the workout machines were connected to wifi Sorry to have missed the heated salt water pool – didn’t have enough time Love the complementary water bottles at the front desk – traveling can make me so thirstyAloft rooms are European minimalistic I’d say Clean lines and prudent use of space – a couch below TV screen and in between tables, combined closet and sink space open to bath and toilet area, which can be closed off with a pocket door – can seem a bit tight but it’s perfectly fine

I loved this hotel and will definitely choose this hotel again when visiting Jacksonville First, the pet friendly policy is very nice and we loved being able to bring our dog with us for no extra charge The king sized bed was very comfortable with soft white sheets and pillows

Absolutely loved the full feature smart TV that allowed us to stream our favorite netflix shows when relaxing in our roomThe location was wonderful with many restaurants near by A Starbucks was also in the same plaza which was very convenient My stay was also very quietMy only complaint is the way the bathroom shower is designed, it has a deep slant for the drain so it can be a bit dangerous when wet I did almost slip when getting in but there is a rail in the shower so just be careful Otherwise great hotel!

Vincent Trabucco

Aloft is truly a pleasure to stay! The staff is extremely polite (Mike) was so helpful when I wasn’t feeling well and made sure I had everything I needed one night, truly went above and beyond The decor gives you that modern upscale feel, room was very spacious and extremely clean But the best part is the amazing bar/lounge with the sweetest bartender (Cam) who can whip up the best cocktails and shots, not to mention her infamous honey pepperoni pizza! She embodies what aloft is all about, making you feel at home away from home! If you’re ever in Jax and looking to make the most out of your stay don’t hesitate to choose Aloft

Teyana Joy Farley

When we arrived at the hotel, we were met by a room that immediately showed the lack of care from cleaning staff The more we looked around, the worse it got There were stains on the carpet and furniture, hair in the shower, stains on the doors, a prior guest had stuck take on the vanity and it had not been removed, they had not filled the soaps in the shower, the phone and remote were STICKY and CRUSTY… the list goes on

Staying at this hotel was so uncomfortable because it was obvious that the staff had not cleaned certain areas and we could never be sure that other areas were cleaned either Front desk is only open until 11 and not 24/7 This didn’t pose a problem to us, but is good to know There was never any staff at the front desk without us having to wait for a while every time, even in the daytime The location is decent as it’s easy to reach major highways, but the entire area would smell like sewage at certain points, which would drift into the hotel We stayed for 4 nights Beds were comfortable

Madison Tacker

I did not stay, as I was unable to I made a reservation under my name as I was paying for the hotel, I am 18, an adult and while I am aware you cannot check in at 18, my brother was staying with my who is 21 We met the front desk lady and let her know that the reservation was not under his name but he was of age and she told me that she needed to confirm with her boss

The front desk woman then told us that we would not be able to check in because it was under my name and I am not twenty one, she then proceeded to call me a “minor” three times and said that I was a child I asked her if we were able to change the name and she told us yes She then removed our reservation and told us to book online The only booking available was over $30 more then the original price I was paying (for a lowend hotel) I was not going to pay $160 for one night when the original price was $129 Just very disappointing as you would assume changing the name on the reservation would fix the issue I didn’t have the chance to stay, but with the terrible service, she saved me a horrible stay

Mandy Murkerson

It was great until the morning of check out Went down to front desk at 9am asked for towels for kids swimming lady asked me room number and asked me was I aware of check out time I said yes maam I know

She only gave me 2 towels for 3 of us and toldme to return them to the desk Why would I give you dirty towels back and not just use hamper in room? It really came across as if she didn’t want me to use pool which was cloudy and full of bugs so close to check out and like I was gonna steal her towels The hotel is nice but the dirty pool and the rude staff is enough to ruin it

I stayed here from March 8-11 This is not my usual hotel My usual hotel, another holiday inn express, inflated its prices for spring break

This hotel was cheaper and was the same kind I come to Jacksonville only to visit the Mayo Clinic I am a 33-year-old woman who is on oxygen and am up for a lung transplant So, I am back and forth from Tallahassee, where I live, to Jacksonville frequently because of thatThe 3-night stay ended in an infestation of BED BUGS!!! Both me and my companion had bites all over our arms and I inadvertently brought them home with me The manager did a couple of things for us like change us to a new room and gave us a few alcohol swabs for our arms but for the whole ordeal I only got $5600 taken of my bill so I still had to pay over $300 for a complete infestation of bed bugs I think I should have gotten a free ride out of that……………Not only the bed bug situation but also when I first arrived something occurred when we were checking in that caused me to give the manager, who was taking care of me the side eye Very questionable service I was given upon arrival which rubbed me the wrong wayI will not be back to this hotel ever As a warning for whoever stays at this hotel from now on, the room numbers that we stayed in and were changed to are 515 and 516 So, if I were you, if you are booked into one of those rooms do yourself a favor and ask to be switched because 515 was the original room we were given with the bed bugs and we were changed to 516 I am quite sure if I brought them home with me, they were transferred to the second room Good luck to anyone who stays at this hotel You are going to need it!

Christine Greco

Got there and the lady upfront held a room for me and my handicap sister I told her I would be back to go get r belongings and when we got back she sold it She did find us a room but it was very hot, refrigerator didn’t work but she told us

She gave us a discount military service and for the way the room was Well, my step-dad paid on his credit card and he found out that they charged him 10089 dollars and she gave it to us for 10065 dollars! Called them and Megan was suppose to credit it back to his account and never did! So disappointing

The staff upon check in and in passing were very pleasant The gentleman checking us in was awesome and hilarious Was great talking to him

Cheered us up after a long day of travel The day and evening staff always gave a passing “hello” and would ask if everyone was going well or if we needed anythingThe ONLY reason I almost took 1 star off was due to the state of the tub It was pretty beat up I assume they are renovating, because the room, beds, TV and counters were ultra updated/in perfect condition The beds were probably the most comfortable I’ve EVER stayed in I usually don’t sleep well when traveling, but these beds changed that So I recommend overlooking the tub if you get that room (it was still perfectly functional) and just enjoy the remainder of your time By the time I was out of the tub, I forgot all about itBecause the hospitality, beds and rest of the room was perfect I don’t feel the need to knock stars off

Mimi Jones

This hotel was definitely amazing! And I love how the rooms match the pictures that they advertise online to a perfection! They were super clean no dust anywhere except for the AC vents, it was very dusty there so maybe they could clean the vents out or change the filters a bit more consistently (we ended catching colds because of this)Other than that our stay here was amazing and our housekeeper Kenneth was awesome and very attentive to us! He deserves a raise!

Wanda Williams

Most of the front desk people were awesome The maintenance man, Reggie, was fantastic and very helpful The housekeeping sucked

We had requested full service every day and it was designated as such and we couldn’t get our room serviced without going to the front desk to get housekeeping to do the service And one day it wasn’t done at all and I had to carry a trash bag of towels up to our room on the 4th floor I’ve never had such horrible service at a Best Western before

The shower and the water was great! The breakfast was very good! Lots of options to pick from Staff was super nice! Seemed very safe and people were constantly cleaning They even clean the pool everyday! I would definitely stay again

This is a nice hotel in a questionable neighborhood We enjoyed our stay The hotel was great

Everything was very clean and the staff was friendly and welcoming The beds were comfortable We checked in late at night We were greatful there was security making rounds around the hotel all night The breakfast was excellent with a good selection Would stay again if given the opportunity

We could not find fault with this placeHard to believe? I thought so too, it’s never happened to me before The room was as clean as clean can be, the shower pressure was awesome, even the filter of the ac/unit was totally lint free

(to me this was a longshot)The hot breakfast was well above average and the staff were so friendly and helpful and it’s obvious that they take sanitizing serious due to the COVID nightmare

The attendant was friendly and on point The bar/restaurant area was nice but we didn’t eat or drink on this stay nor did we use the pool area but it looked nice as well as did the grounds The issues were the smell in the hallways, and the room was very dated

Our shower had been badly cracked (24″ or more) and a very sloppy silicone patch was applied The shower pan was also very weak and felt as if it were ready to fall through I can definitely see why the halls have a funky smell The mattress springs could be felt when getting in and out of bed and my wife’s back bothered her all day after sleeping on it I would pass this location and go to the one at Jax beach We loved our stay there a few months ago

josh

Would have given more stars but I want to be very clear about this

THE BEDS ARE HARD AS A ROCK Came into town for a couple days for a medical issues after sleeping on this bed we have decided to cancel our stay and head home In more pain then before we came If you want to sleep on a brick then this is the perfect placeEverything else was clean and fine

Matthew Buchanan

Pros:- Lobby and common areas maintained- Staff friendly- Breakfast was good valueCons:- Rooms and interior corridors were extremely dated and the room smelled strongly of a harsh cleaning chemical For $170 a night I expect more out of a Marriott property

Rooms were very clean, spacious and accommodating You can’t beat the great price Room came with a nice little kitchenette and complimentary coffee

Breakfast is complimentary too and offers a nice variety Staff was very friendly and helpful Plenty of parking and for military families relocating it has places to park small moving trucks Located right next to the golf course Will definitely return

All was well until the last night when the manager got on my group’s case about wearing masks, saying she was the manager She didn’t look like the manager I spoke with the day prior who said she’d had no complaints (impressive for a group of high school students)Roach as long as a 110v plug crawling up the wall was a nice touch, but how many did I not see?

Bob Builder

Overall, reasonable accommodations for the price over my >1 month stay Three issues: repairs, animals, housekeepingRepairs – upon checking in, I had multiple repair requests involving cords on blinds falling off, fridge replacement for door closure issue and leaking, bathtub drain clogging There were four functional dryers for a hotel with roughly 90 rooms, others were out of service for the entirety of my stay

Animals – outdoor trash is filled with raccoons, you have to take out your own trash, and I would often throw the trash (sometimes miss the garbage bin entirely) to avoid contracting rabies from an uninvited bite Indoors, I saw fruit flies if I left food in my room trash for more than 1 day, so I made an effort to take this out daily Beetles were seen by the AC A lizard was seen by my fridge Maintenance addressed my pest issues in the room, but the raccoon issue remained This is a health and safety concernHousekeeping – upon check-in the front desk informed me housekeeping will service my room every 4th day, the standard note left in each room from the GM states they’ll swing by every 3rd day In actuality, they came every 5th day I requested on three separate occasions for housekeeping to come on certain days of the week due to using my room for meetings on particular dates; this was not respected even onceI would encourage management to address maintenance/pest issues by pre-treating/pre-inspecting rooms, hiring exterminator for raccoon issue, and speak with housekeeping to streamline services for our active duty populations

Loved the great customer service! Loved the hardwood floors Loved that the shade made the room perfectly dark for sleeping Loved that the ac fan would blow continuously throughout the night

My only complaint is that the water had a bad smell when you first turned it on or flushed It also tasted really bad from the water fountain But, after spending a few more days in Jacksonville, I’m starting to think that’s just how Jacksonville water tastes I’ve learned that most people buy bottled water around here 😅

I’d give a 5 star but the male manager messed that one up So given the situation with my spouse the manager called our room he was very rude, didn’t want to explain anything to me, threatened to call the cops and me and my children more than once And still refused to tell me why

I myself am very experienced with customerservice The manager whom I spoke with refused to give me his name I’ve already contacted corporate office I will not be coming back to this hotel until its under new management

Unless you have no choice and or your work sends you here AVOID I’m here for work

It’s in the middleOf an industrial area, there’s nothing decent close by They’re still under the assumption that we’re under a pandemic Girl at the desk is wearing a mask Big signs say they don’t do daily housekeeping because of the global pandemic Which is idiotic because I stayed at a country inn in Asheville NC the night before No mask No signs Nothing This hotel stinks, it’s dirty The Cops were here It’s a dump and shame on them Of my company wasn’t paying There’s no way in hell

I love the location Quiet and easily walkable to several bars and restaurants The staff was SO nice and welcoming

They were possibly the kindest and sweetest hotel staff I’ve ever met I had two separate reservations which needed to be combined and they did so seamlessly They explained the parking, amenities, charges thoroughly We requested a few items sent to the room and they showed up immediately Would definitely stay again

Booked my room from Hotel tonight! $219 supposed to be a suit! Turned out to be one room two beds! Took 15 minutes to get help when I first came in! Lady explained to me the pet fee was $125 but on Hotels Tonight it said $50! Then explain its $15 for parking Hotel tonight said $999! Plus additional $40 hold on your card! This really set a tone for my families vacation! My last time staying here not worth it

The room was dirty The floor was gross, needs to be vacuum There was a cockroach running around on our floor

The bathroom floor had hair and dirty on it I went to call the front desk and both phones in the room aren’t able to call the front desk The button wasn’t working and the room in the middle of the night smelled like sewer That was just the first room 219 The second room 313 when we walked in, the coffee table had dirt on it The mirror had a film over it The elevator, on the railing, had dried drink on it Whomever cleans this hotel is horrible! I’m so sad about this because if this place was clean we would stay there every time we go to Jacksonville to visit our daughter and granddaughter The other two hotels in this area don’t have big rooms like yours They are clean so I will stay there I’ve never been so disappointed and grossed out at a Hilton property I do want to say that the front desk staff and breakfast staff were wonderful

Christina Marsman

Location and Staff are amazing, but, if you are a person with disabilities, this hotel may not be for you Shower is not wheelchair accessible My husband managed to lift me onto the bench, but it is on a tilt, which nearly ended in tradegy😫

Apparently there is only one room with an accessible tub, but it was taken (although that’s the room we booked)Our door was open when we got there Turns out, it doesn’t open or shut very easily Off the frame or something My husband hade to fix the ceiling fan also (cord was wrapped around–wouldn’t move)Location is great, next to everything Love that it’s dog friendly 🐕 I would stay here again, but would need to plan ahead for accommodations

Ken French

I’ve stayed at MANY Hilton owned properties but this is by far the most out of date and dirtiest one too date Tile in bathroom was full of hair and dirt(obvious it wasn’t cleaned) Room in general very dingy

Hotel doesn’t feel like a Hilton More like a days inn vibe at Hilton prices Very disappointed Also the drain for sink has something that looks like swamp thing coming out of it which is pretty disgusting Hilton if your reading this it’s time to sell this property

We had a wonderful 4-day stay at Comfort Suites We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the room! Our room had two queen size beds and a large sitting area with a comfortable sofa I do have one recommendation: towel racks in the bathroom

Aside from a hook on the back door- there was no place to hang towels except over the shower curtain rod The lobby area was nothing fancy- but it was very comfortable and accommodating for our large group They provided a sufficient complimentary breakfast The staff was friendly and helpful

Lynnette Lopez

NOT RECOMMENDED We did check inn and when we got to the room it stank of humidity We asked to change to another room

It had the smell but it was less Carpet was dirty Door locks and gosnes were loose We went and bought an odor neutralizer and disinfectant wipes In a week there was only one cleaning visit and because we asked for it since the bedding when we arrived had little animals that itched There were cockroaches We covered the sofa bed with sheets because it was dirty When we asked for towels and other items at the reception they did not attend us well Our room was next to the washing machines but using them was a pain The hotel has two washers and two dryers for everyone The reception did not have to change coins There was no window detergent although there was a machine When we called the reception they told us to go to another place to wash which was five minutes away by car At the end of the stay, the housekeeping told us that a snack vending machine had change for quarter Breakfast for a week was the same In the part near the pool there were people smoking and with a dubious reputation The maintenance of the pool and surroundings was almost none Five years ago we stayed at this Hotel and we stayed again thinking that it was the same or better but WE WILL NOT GO BACK

I stayed here for a week Love the location and customer service was good but house keeping did show anything I stayed more then 4 days and didn’t even get my room clean once

I took out my own trash and got my own set of new towels They had a sign at the check in desk stating if staying more then 4 nights the room would be clean that was a lie I complain twice to the front desk I didn’t get nothing in return If you stay here make sure they get house keeping to clean your room and give you fresh towels Other then that I love my stay

We recently stayed at Club Continental while visiting for business We were pleasantly surprised by our entire experience It had an old Florida feel

Our room was unique in theme, very roomy, adequately updated and had an amazing view of tht St John’s River Breakfast is served from 8-9 with a limited menu Tuesday night is Italian Night and the food was delicious! There is no room service but there is cleaning service If you are a high touch individual that enjoys room service this is not the place for you We on the other hand love the quietness and low touch homey feel We will definitely be back!

We went to the Club Continental for a retirement seminar The food was darn good We thought there should be more gravy & some more asparagus ( only 2 really)? But just wanted to comment too that the staff was very helpful, professional & kind

Their tea was very tasty but 2nd round a little too sweet Otherwise the place is top notch You should check it out for yourself They’re located in Orange Park, Florida Enjoy!

My husband and I stayed for four days at this wonderful hotel and wish we could have stayed longer Everything about the hotel was excellent from the staff to the room, the pool, the location and of course the beach And the affordability

For an upgrade to an oceanfront room ( which is so worth it) it’s still so much less than what we’d expect for what is included and available The room was clean and the beds extremely comfortable Perhaps what I appreciated most about this hotel was the customer service Every single person working there would greet you with a hello or a “hope you are enjoying your stay “ and front desk always seemed to remember who you were We had a problem with our room which the hotel dealt with and compensated us for the inconvenience There are too many positives of this hotel but needless to say, we would most certainly highly recommend it to others Perhaps the only suggestion I would make would be to carefully label all food items in the breakfast buffet On one morning I suspected that the scrambled eggs had cheese in them due to their lovely creamy texture but the label did not indicate so Since I cannot eat dairy for medical reasons I asked the wonderfully kind chef/manager of the buffet and discovered that they did have dairy but he was so accommodating and prepared some regular scrambled eggs for me Thank you Hampton Inn and we hope to see you again!

My wife and I stayed here last week and it was an outstanding experience Quick check in, clean room with an amazing ocean front view and very friendly, helpful staff that will go out of their way to assist making your experience thoroughly enjoyable It’s steps to the beach and that’s why we chose it

The pool was huge and clean with lots of recliners available to just lie out in the sun, relax and have a cold one The breakfast was wonderful and plentiful, with good variety The restaurant and bar was great too and even had evening live entertainment! Complimentary coffee was always available We travel the Caribbean frequently and this hotel had the vibe of an all inclusive resort A great place to stay in JAX Beach!

Oceanfront view was spectacular -beautiful to watch the sunrise The room had a standard microwave and small refrigerator The bathroom could use some improvements – the shower head was not completely affixed to the wall, the tub needed resurfacing and the faucet dripped

The front desk staff members were cordial, not overly friendly but professional The kitchen staff and housekeeping teams were very nice, helpful and pleasant to engage with The pool area is clean The parking lot was full during my visit luckily there was an extended parking area across the street The outside tiki bar area was a nice space to grab a bite or a refreshment for the beach The beach of course was amazing!
