Employees were nice but definitely stressed possibly working too much Towels weren’t replaced on our weekend stay The breakfast buffet was decent for a hotel breakfast

Just the standard stuff but still good Hotel could use a cleaning and hasn’t been updated in a awhile One of the better options in area with an indoor pool bit could definitely use some work

The sign on the door when you enter says “Pardon our dust, we are remodeling” Not for 1 second would I say they are remodeling, it’s run down and seems like they don’t care about the customer Stayed for 2 nights in a king suite room, was in town for a baseball tournament and the place was sold out

They have known they were full for quite a few weeks and you’d think they would be ready for that The curtains on the windows were falling down, couldn’t close them which caused the lights from the front of the building to shine right on the bed The towels were stained The toilet was filthy with stains on it when we arrived Never saw housekeeping, had to go to the front desk for everything! Toilet paper, Kleenex, towels etc Upon check in I was told that the cable was down and that it should be fixed “tomorrow” Tomorrow I went to ask about the cable and was told “no”, it’s not going to be fixed today and I asked how long it’s been down and was told for over a week! Who has the cable down for a entire hotel? Someone that doesn’t pay the bills I suspect Stay elsewhere, somewhere that values the customer!

I would rate this a 25 if I could If you need a place to stay over it is a bed to lay your head on

It is convenient as it is right off the highway But I would equate the overall quality is lacking gnats in bathroom, bathroom sink drains slowly, no stopper in sink, toilet doesn’t flush completely, cracked floor tiles in bathroom, elevator flooring needs work, walls could use lots of touch up painting/spackling and for the first day the elevator floor was sticky, cigarette butts were laying along parts of drivewayI could go on but will leave it at that

The jacuzzi suites are posh with luxurious linens and the biggest spread of pillows you’ve ever seen The flat screens are mammoth, and you can watch them while sitting in your relaxing jacuzzi tub Sweet! I use booking sites for the best deals, and they do not require payment upfront

You can pay upon arrival The pool is nice too But I usually hideaway in the suite and treat myself to all sorts of goodies I’d recommend them hands down

We were very thankful for the kind service the young lady at the desk gave us It was around 10:45pm before we finally found somewhere to stop for the night as we were traveling from missouriShe made us feel more comfortable since we weren’t really sure where we were

The rooms were very nice and clean The breakfast was also very good We would definitely stay again as well as recommending this place to others

For a budget option hotel, they get my praises for excellent customer service After being stranded by another hotel due to a pricing dispute after a 13 hour drive and at 9pm

this hotel went out of its way to hold a room for us so we had a place to stay for the night A woman named Staphanie was amazing and after hearing about our predicament, she really made sure we would be taken care of here The rooms are nicely sized, clean, and comfortable With a pool and a great breakfast offering, this is definitely a budget option I would recommend in the future Alsoask for Stephanie, she really was our knight in shining Armor!

The Baldwin Family

We rented 5 rooms The hotel was full this weekend with baseball teams, extended stays from the state Both groups were handled SO well even being a headache for the staff I sleep like a baby- and until we had a run in with the extended stay group did not even realize there was an issue

The staff at this location is one of the best Y’all are top notch You go above and beyond I have no complaintsI am sorry 😞 those families were nasty- my stay was perfect I would gladly stay here again

Nina Fanshier

The room was nice and spacious, just what we needed after family gatherings in a small space The room was cleaned very well, bags missing from the cans, ceiling had water damage that seemed fresh and the flooring in the bedroom was coming up that I tripped over a few times The lobby floor going to the gym was wet and no wet floor sign was present

Those few things caught my eye but not at all ruined the stay The beds and bedding are very nice

Customer service lacking We stay here every year we go down to state fair since the location is easy off the interstate and the price is right However this year we arrived and noticed they were having problems with key access points not working, hot tub not working and it wasn’t the year before, elevator was malfunctioning, and the hallways smelled like cigarette smoke

When I was given an email to review my stay I addressed the issues and hoped they would be simply addressed as a helpful review Instead I got an unprofessional response talking about how there were signs about all this and obviously that didn’t matter to me Just seems like an unwelcoming response that says that they don’t intend to fix these issues or care about my experience

Nikki DeShazo

The staff was super friendly The pool area was crowded but really nice Disappointed the hot tub wasn’t working, as we were traveling for an equestrian event and would have liked to soak our muscles

Complimentary breakfast was too notch I really have no complaints other than the carpet in our room was kind of dirty, but I also expect that to some degree when traveling with pets — and we did bring our two heelers as well

Several “small print” technicalities diminished an otherwise nice & convenient hotel, with friendly staffNew info (May 2022): The manager has refused to respond to my polite requests for contact Since giving my initial review, I found several customer safety concerns that have never been addressed, including the side-security door being left unlocked overnight; it faces a dark parking lot, which would allow others to enter the building without being seen, and potentially rob or accost customers

The room and hotel was very clean and everyone was helpful and pleasant There is a Bob Evans Restaurant in the parking lot which was convenient since we did not have a vehicle I would highly recommend this hotel Thank you to the management for taking good care of us!

Had to make an emergency stay after an accident on the interstate Very friendly clerk who was willing to do what she could to help us out The kickback is a very pleasant way to unwind and was super convenient since we had no transportation to go out and the weather was too nasty to walk

The breakfast is truly a hot breakfast! Freshly prepared eggs, sausage, biscuits, potatoes, oatmeal along with the bagels, yogurt, juice etc We were VERY happy with our stay!

Bed was comfortable great pillows, but other than that I don’t think it was worth the $110 for one night We were just passing through and you can tell it’s an interstate hotel but it was somewhere to lay my head Hotel needs a major update but the breakfast was decent

My remote didn’t work and the ac was not cold at all I didn’t even use a blanket as it was warm enough in the room There was a used bandaid and a q-tip behind the TV stand so that grossed me out The pool however was a nice way to relax 😌

Positive: Staff were polite, some were friendly, giving us advice on places to eat around town and things to do Room was nice, king size beds, four pillows on each, very comfortable pillow top mattresses, micro, fridge, counter top area, sink, cabinets, desk chairs, luggage rack, and large mirrors Desk clerk and employees very helpful, replenishing towels, trash and ice bags, and toiletry items as we would bring them down or request items needed

The pool was absolutely wonderful It is heated and has stairs on the shallow end we could walk in without using the lift chair Had a choice of regular chairs or loungers and two round tables we could sit at around the pool Also had some items for children to play with and a floating infant chairPrice was nice Comfortable bed and a pool is what I look for most in a hotel Probably book again in August for a long weekendNegative: The whirlpool has been removedBooked early about 6 weeks out for a FIVE night stay Arrived on a Sunday at 2:30 Desk clerk stated there would be a wait, that weekend they had been swamped with two weddings and a baseball tournament Also, two employees did not show up for work today Okay Said it would be a little while before room was ready About 4:00 pm I am still waiting Two men come in at 4:40 and their rooms are ready? My sister arrived at 5 We waited and got our room about 6:30 pm I would not have minded except the hotel only had a few people registered for tonight per the manager Why did they not first clean rooms for the few they had registered this night Toilet is way low (I am handicap and hard to get up and down) Third night there, water dripped into our tub area from the upstairs room Manager did offer to move us, but we had been there three days already and were leaving in two nights We are old, it was evening, and were tired; did not want to pack up and move and then again in two days Said we were okay if they did not put someone above us First morning, at breakfast, I had a banana No decaf coffee available High carb foods served, biscuits and gravy, apples, yogurt, waffles, toast, bagel, only two cold cereal choices Same fare every morning Not too much complain about Chose to eat out Checked the next three days, I was looking for another banana, none By Friday morning, the food in the cooler (only one container of yogurt) and the bakery container were VERY low, only a couple of apples

This Quality Inn in South Jacksonville is far from quality Have to say this was the most run-down hotel I’ve stayed in Good luck going in any door but the front since the other doors have broken off handles

90-degree rooms when you walk in and the hallways are hotter The cleanliness of the room was absolutely gross The elevator makes a loud bang noise when stopping The bedding was not changed or old because it was stained, the floor had trash, and the room smell wasomgSpend the extra money and go to the Holiday Inn Express across the street!!!
