I stayed here last year in September It was really quiet at this time of year, with only a handful of others staying The lady at the front desk is really nice

I was happy that they allow pets in the rooms, just not on the beds, which is understandable! There is a small grassy area in the back to walk your dog around The rooms, beds, and showers were clean I would stay here again

Vicki Dimi

The lady at the front desk is very nice and accommodating I had a great experience at this place Had to stay there unexpectedly on a holiday weekend, and the price was very reasonable compared to everything else around

Great location, and you can get your bear spray from the convenience store right across the street for $30 instead of $50 like everywhere else!

Daniel and Rgie Huizenga

Cheapest lodging we found for the date we needed Google took us the back way to it Host/Receptionist was very welcoming and accommodating

Wish the Wi-Fi Password was left to parents to decide, as to whether or not it should be given to a child/teenager Room was very clean It had a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker Sink and bathroom had soap/shampoo/body wash dispenser Room was well provisioned

We had a great experience here The first condo was 5⭐️ but we moved half way and got another one that was a little outdated Still great accommodations

Nice beds and bedding, we loved the hot tub , sauna, steak room Fantastic The restaurant on the property was hands down the best thing we ate all week We went 2x Great place and would come again

Courtney Dewar

This was my first time staying at the resort after some family members had recommended it to my fiancé and I, we stayed for 3 nights and everything was very nice Our room was clean and very spacious, the front desk staff were friendly upon check in and check out The grounds of the resort are beautifully groomed

The only downside was our room was on level 1 of the Main Lodge and was facing right out into the golf course, it would have been nice to have a little bit more privacy without having to keep the curtains closed all the time Overall this was a great part of our trip and we would definitely stay again!

Chris

We enjoyed our stay at Meadow Lake Resort We did not partake in the golf, though it looked like a nice park We did partake in the pool, hot tub, and ping pong

My son enjoyed the steam room and gym The rooms were very nice; ours was a 2-bedroom, 2-story condo in building 3 We had 2 bathrooms, a living room, kitchen, and a lounge room We were here during the heat wave, so we couldn’t enjoy the wood-burning fireplace The drawbacks were the AC wasn’t working great downstairs, and neither was the clothes dryerOverall we had a great experience that allowed us to be near GNP for a few days We would return if given the opportunity

We were very pleased with our 2 night stay here I normally don’t choose the Econo Lodge chain but this one was definitely worth it You definitely want to pay a little extra for the King Suite with a fireplace

Not a real fireplace, of course, but it made the room so cozy It had a love seat to enjoy the small electric fireplace and watch tv Nice wooden framed bed Not the best mattress out there but we slept just fine It has a jacuzzi tub and the jets worked wonderfully The shower had great water pressure Overall, a very cozy room and worth a stay in this lodge style hotel

Chantal S

Breakfast was lackluster – just some watered down coffee and breakfast bars Rooms had no noise protection and we heard the toddler upstairs stomping all night long Room was okay… good size, kinda dirty

Not enough pillows or towels Hot water stopped for awhile We left a night early It’s a good location and is next to an amazing Mexican restaurant though!

My experience here is a bit of a mix and I hope you stick with me here and read through as I feel it’s important especially if you have dogs 🐕 I give this establishment a 4 for service overall because the staff was so wonderful and accommodating except one an employee that lives on the property I was told his name is Steve when my dog pulled the leash from my hand and only got 5 ft from me and I had him back he proceeded to yell at me that dogs are to be leashed at all times I simply apologized and thought to myself how incredibly inappropriate of a response that was thinking he was a guest at that point went on about my day later on my friend I was traveling with arrived back with her little dog directly at heal and straight into room and unaware of my earlier encounter is followed by Steve into our room and Screamed at in front of her 2 yr old daughter,” I said ALL DOGS ON A LEASH AT TIMES” He was unaware my friends husband was downstairs and heard everything and when was politely questioned denied the entire thing and we just didn’t push the issue as we wanted to enjoy our trip

I guess all I’m trying to say is I wouldn’t go there alone if your a female traveling alone with animals and kids I always thought the staff were the safe people at a hotel this made me rethink that But I also want to be very clear that NOTHING else about this place was anything less than great we had an amazing time otherwise

Clean, comfortable, friendly, nostalgic, convenient and accessible to downtown The owners are very friendly too It has that hometown feel that motels used to have, that hasn’t disappeared in Columbia Falls, MT

I also like the personable approach to their reservation system Dial them up on the phone Best of all, the bed lulled me to sleep Very comfortable They won me over, for sure

Peaceof MindIns

My wife and I were to visit Glacier National Park, like everyone else Was greeted by the most kind and pleasant woman at the front desk Was the Labor day weekend and I’m sure she was running that day

Although its green and nicely manicures out front, You can tell it is not a new motel by the design and had reserve ourselves to the fact it would be just a place to lay our heads and nothing special When I inquired about a room she had 2 which we needed so we took one When we went into the room we were again surprised by the nice finishes there had been a nice remodel/update at some point, and was so clean!!! We have spent alot of money on rooms before that were not near this clean I almost hate to recommend this to anyone as I want to keep it a secret for our next visit Seriously though it is obvious that these people care about their motel and the people that stay with them, they deserve your business!!

Dan Hoeck

The trouble here is a lack of communication and follow-through I had booked a stay coming in on 8/28/21 and called ahead as we were later getting in During the conversation the proprietor told me that if we arrived after 10 pm she would tape a key to the office door

We arrived at 10:03 to no key on the door, no one to contact from the office (we left a message and an email), and no place to stay We immediately made other arrangements but cannot in good faith recommend the motel I called this morning as well and never received a call back Unprofessional at best!

Great place to stay Rooms are large enough for families to chill out Beds are kinda hard but it’s not a big deal if you add blankets and pillows

Free breakfast is great I didn’t eat the same food each day Super friendly night staff Pool was always full due to a child’s birthday party, which was cool since I don’t swim in pools We will be back

Tricia Downey

The rooms are exquisite and clean The bathrooms are generous also They offer a delicious, complimentary breakfast that partially comes out at 3:45 am to accommodate those catching early flights

Their outside fire pit is a great place to sit around and warm your bones while sipping on coffee An absolutely beautiful place to stay

alexandra mostrom

I have never experienced a more accommodating hotel staff We stayed for 2 nights and required 2 different room types (because I wasn’t thinking when I booked) The staff quickly made our 2nd night room so that we were able to check in early

Excellent choice for our family reunion in June Comfortable and clean with very accommodating staff both in the planning of the event and for the 4 days we stayed there Nice commercial kitchen and event center

Even pet friendly cabins So many activities nearby for all agesPerfect venue for us

Keith Jones

This was a great place to stay because they are individual cabins and it’s secluded away from the highway I liked having that quietness Our room had 3 queen beds (1/2) and a pull out I believe

Two full baths, front and back porches Kitchen area with stove and fridge but no oven Didn’t realize that til we got back to the room with our alfredo chicken from Costco Had an electric fireplace in the living room area and a cooling unit that both worked well Large bedroom area had the same cooling unit and electric wall heating units that worked sufficiently They have two jacuzzi spas that were underutilized while I was there as well as two washers and dryers They also had a sauna but I didn’t try it out Fairly close proximity to the three cities/towns in the area and a multitude of eating establishments I’ll comment on other posts These were all positives and why I would stay there againWhat I didn’t care for was the customer service aspect here Pretty sure I saw the onsite owner while I was in the jacuzzi and he didn’t check in to see how things were The first day we got there the girl at the front desk was helpful There was no room service while we were there and it looked like they were looking for help One of their maintenance guys was blowing debris to the end of the row which happened to be where my vehicle was parked Additionally, I spoke to a young man there named Clayton who seemed to not really care I attempted to interact with him a couple times but felt like I was taking him away from his computer or phone game each time They made it a point to tell my daughter they would charge our room for bear spray if it wasn’t returned When I returned it, his reply was “Ok” and he took it and dropped it below the counter without getting my info I gave him my info and he stated, “ok” and went back to the back roomI would stay here again because i like the location and the rooms

I needed a place to crash for the night but as a woman traveling alone, I was so sketched out by the other motels when I drove by them I was feeling a bit nervous about not being able to find a safe place to stay I’m glad I found Hilltop! I got such a great vibe as soon as I walked into the office

The guy that helped me (I assume was the owner) was great and made me feel so much better When he gave me my room key, he disinfected with a wet wipe Isn’t that awesome? The room was so cute and the shower was great Highly recommended!

Sunni Surawski

I would love to give this place 5 stars but

It’s a very nice motel Clean, neat, easy check in and out process The problem is the fabreeze the heck out of the bed I laid on the bed for about 10 minutes after check in and my hair stinks of perfume, my throat hurts and I have a headacheIf you have any issues with perfumes or deodorizers this place is NOT for youI’m hoping if I bring in my own pillow I’ll be able to get through the nightUPDATE: after we got back from dinner last night the owner decided to give us a call Not to ask what she could do to make our stay better She wanted to defend the reason they use deodorizers in their rooms After about 5 minutes of her going on she asked if we’d like to check out! Not once but twice she suggested we go elsewhere It was 9 pm I’ve never felt less hospitality I’m not sure how she thought calling us like that would make this review any better

Kathy Wattles

My neighbor told me about the Hill Top Inn I was going to be in Flat Head area for work I had checked numerous hotels in the area and all were very over priced

I selected one which I found the least inexpensive and it was $30000Outrageous!!!!!!! I get that this is a resort area When my neighbor told me about the Hill Top I called for availability and rates I had to leave a message but a very nice kind lady promptly returned my callShe had affordable availability so made my reservation and cancelled the $30000 oneWhen I arrived first impression was a very neat tidy placeI checked in and my room was so comfortable, cozy, and decorated homey The air conditioner was on which you don’t usually getI don’t usually get room service so always put do not disturbe sign on the doorLater the morning after i arrived she called me to ask if I wanted room service as she had found the sign on the ground and was not sure if it was mine That’s customer service!!!!!!!I will always be staying here when I come to Flat Head areaI HIGHLY RECOMMEND this comfortable Kalispell Hill Top InnIf your looking for accommodations make your reservation here now

The best hotel we’ve ever stayed at And we travel a lot It’s not just the cleanliness and the organization of the place, but the attentiveness and the warmness of all the staffs that make our stay an extraordinary experience

Fresh cookies, popcorn, hot tea, and coffee throughout the day Amazing breakfast!!! Thank you Tom and Chris for being so sweet, kind, and attentive Kalispell is forever a memorable place for us thanks to amazing people like you

This was hands down the best hotel we stayed at during our trip The building certainly has some history and naturally is a bit dated However with the A/C window units and and modern flat-screen TVs and comfortable beds, it still felt like a luxury stay

We even got to take our dogs with us and stay in the hotel The staff were super nice and friendly!

The stay was good and staff was friendly They will charge you $50 for incidentals that they claim will be returned soon after your stay Well its been 2 weeks and 2 phone calls to the hotel and they continue to tell me that it should be any day

Still nothing, not even a call back as promised Beware after you check out that they will attempt to hold your incidental fee apparently in hopes that you are too busy traveling and will forget

Buck West

The room was clean and the beds were nice Now the bad the bathroom was so small I could get my narrow wheelchair even into the bathroom

If someone is over weight good luck shutting the door They put a $50 hold on my bank card that still hasn’t come off my card when the lady said it would be off the next day You pay $200+ dollars and I couldn’t even use the bathroom We had just driven 600 miles and just wanted to go to sleep Save your money and go to the evergreen in Libby Way nicer rooms with huge bathrooms and your helping a local business Oh and you pay half the cost So unless you want the pool at the BW save your money The front desk lady was rude like we were bothering her just to check in PS as someone else mentioned the air filters are gross My husband checks them at every hotel we stay at because of bad allergies and these were so of the worst we have seen And your not finding my stay there became 1 I don’t use my real name on google and to I book everything using a different email for safety and security I will be calling to because we stayed Sunday night and it’s Thursday and I still have a $50 hold on my card Really people We are driving across country and gas ain’t cheap and I still can’t use that $50 dollars It’s a good thing all the hotels don’t hold on to my money like this or I would be stranded

‘‘Twas a good stay Nice and clean room, comfortable bed Didn’t expect much from the complimentary breakfast but I was pleasantly surprised, good selection of breakfast items (cereals, eggs, biscuits, flapjacks etc

)One thing I’d point out is the fitness gym is small and the selection of weights is low, but it’s not a deal breaker

It was almost perfect The hotel is impressively styled, very clean, a great breakfast, and the staff is courteous and professional Everything was perfect, until I went to bed

There was no support in the bed or pillows and I had a really rough night’s sleep We stayed here because of the convenience of the location near the airport and if I was told there were newer beds & better pillows in another room, I’d definitely be back To me, cleanliness is a #1 priority, but a comfortable sleep is right there next to it, so that’s the reason I couldn’t give it 5 stars

We just wanted to take a moment to say thanks to the wonderful staff of this amazing hotel We stayed for Christmas and Christmas Eve and had a wonderful experience Yes the breakfast is awesome, the art work is beautiful, the rooms are amazing clean up updated

The pool was perfect for our kids Have stated at many luxury resorts who don’t compare to this place But the people that work there made us feel at home even though they were working on Christmas Thank you, we had a tough year and needed a small affordable get away and you nailed it Owners of this place, please take care of these people

We had a wonderful experience from the second we walked through the door They have a beautiful lobby with great front desk service Christian in particular was extremely helpful

The complimentary cookies took our heartsThis hotel has everything you could need plus some I absolutely recommend With the gorgeous mountains surrounding the hotel it just doesn’t get better There were many lounges to kick back and even a patio with a fire pit on each floor! We were here for a Spartan race and will rebook when we come again

Wouldn’t recommend Although the room was alright the shower drain cover slid off to reveal a black hole in the tub This made me feel uncomfortable while showering

Customer service was very disappointing We accidentally made 2 reservations because the first reservation didn’t show up in my email and we were unable to call to confirm because we were around glacier national park with no cell service or wifi So when we arrived she charged us for 2 rooms not even a cancellation fee but the full fee When I tried to explain what happened I did not get an understanding or empathetic response I got the impression she thought I was lying when she said “that sucks You should have called earlier I would have figured something out” However I did try to call early that day (11 am) and was told she can’t do anything for me because she wasn’t in the office Although I always prefer to support small businesses but I would not treat a customer like that and I will probably not be going back there I found her customer service lacking Also when I asked about the pool, her tone sounded sarcastic and said “we don’t have a pool anymore, you should know that if you’ve been on the website” I’d recommend staying somewhere more welcoming

Hands down the cleanest and most unique boutique hotel we have ever stayed at!The owner has added tables and benches and even a fire table to enjoy a drink outside!Friendly staff…All around good!!The walk to downtown is about a mile and makes for a beautiful stroll!!

Rocklyn Potuer

We got to the motel at 4 to check in, to find the office locked & a note on the door with a phone number if help was needed We phoned, left a msg, waited 15-20 min, no reply

We finally knocked on one of the motel doors that was partially opened, found the “manager” he was “filling in” for the week He found a room for us, the room was nice enough, had everything we needed except a TV remote & the door lock & the door itself were EXTREMELY hard to open, wouldn’t want to have to get out in a hurry!!! I tried to track down “the manager”, again, couldn’t be found Supposed to have continental breakfast, it wasn’t mentioned by “the manager” decided we’d buy breakfast elsewhereIt may be a nice place to stay if the actual owner/manager were in charge but we wouldn’t take the chance again unfortunately Very disappointing

Most of the staff was more than amazing and friendly There was one in particular that always went above and beyond, Nicole And you could clearly tell she works her butt off

She helps even at night if you see her in the halls and she’s clearly off the clock She’s amazing at does and awesome job and cleaning the rooms Even if it’s not her “job” she fast and efficient when asked for helpThe rooms are nice and the beds are extremely comfortable The breakfast is superb biscuits and gravy 🤤 The sausage patties look kind of funky but other than that no complaints

It’s by no means a 5 star hotel, but for a 3 1/2+ star hotel I’d give it a 5/5 The rooms were very clean and the beds were shockingly very comfortable The tv is an oversized flat screen and the hotel was reasonably priced

We took advantage of the breakfast each morning and it did the job for a quick bite I’d say we would probably book there again next time we visit!

Pete The Volcano

I spend a lot of time traveling and my basic theory on what makes a place good regardless of price is primarily an attitude of genuine caring and attention to detailThis place was stacked with both The room was very clean and the people there were top notch when it came to genuine care and friendliness

Just wanted to call out these folks in particular: Tristan, Farley, Tish and Tegan To the owner of this hotel, you are lucky to have these people working for you They are an asset to your business and I thank them for a pleasant stayOh and as an aside, the breakfast was pretty good too✌️

This is one of the most expensive best westerns I have stayed at anywhere in the country but it makes sense demographically with WhitefishWhat do you get for your money? Well you have a nicely appointed room that is clean, beds look great, property is well maintained The staff seem well trained and professional

The decor in the lobby is tasteful and the hallways are in good shape which is great, The elevator looks a bit shabby but of course most people don’t care about the elevator😂Overall everything looks great I did not get any extra charges like I have done at other hotels throughout the country and this one actually worked out really wellThe beds were very comfortable and I had a good solid night sleep because I went to sleep around 9 PM and woke up at 6 amThank you best western for making my stay pleasant I was very satisfied I will certainly recommend your business to colleagues traveling across the US in the future

Overall, my stay was very good! The staff was friendly and extremely helpful, the 2 queen room was spacious, quiet and well appointed, the beds were comfortable and the shuttle service from the airport and to downtown was perfect!Where there’s room for improvement:Dusting the smaller, less obvious places in the roomThe breakfast selection & the use of styrofoam cupsOverall, it’s a great place to stay!

Room was a decent size for a family of 4 No fan in the bathroom When I was in the bathroom, I could hear people in the hall and upstairs

I couldn’t hear anyone from the beds though Pool and hot tub were open 24 hours a day Breakfast had a great variety of choices and the hot food changed each day Great location in town Great service at the desk

Dan Mingle

This is a very very good hotel The amenities were nice, clean, and a head and shoulders above a typical hotel – including the 24-hour on call shuttle! The breakfast was even better than advertised (the woman that runs it keeps everything on point!), and the 24 hour pool is very nice Every member of the staff that we met was top notch

Honestly, we were blown away at how great this experience was This will be the only hotel we stay at in Kalispell from now on

Clean and simple All went smoothly and no concerns Furniture is a bit out dated 90’s style but doesn’t impact my future consideration to stay here again

Probably only downside encountered is that a perk of being a Diamond member is late checkout and best I could muster from these guys was 30 minutes additional They always blame it on staff shortages but I’d be curious if they pay a living wage for their cleaning staff >$25/hr Very happy that there was a liquor store across the street Simple to get around from this location
