We were a little nervous when we saw it was a 1 star motel, but it is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed The rooms are cute, will maintained and CLEAN The owner was friendly and welcoming, super helpful offering to give us the inside scoop on the local restaurants, attractions and anything else we may need

The little touches in every room are an extra pleasant surprise, such as fresh flowers, rolling dining chairs, the origami like folded towels, and making sure the room is cooling off before we even arrive You don’t get service or accommodations like this at many of the chains

Dan McGuire

Total hidden gemOther than maybe the lack of “curb appeal”, this place is impeccably clean, well maintained & stocked, very cute inside, and run by the nicest people I’ve met in a while It’s also surprisingly quiet for being right off the road (once “rush hour” traffic subsides)

Towels, toiletries, and even fresh coffee in the room were all above and beyond (and not the cheap, single serve pucks of charred coffee groundsI’ve honestly stayed in dirtier Marriotts, less-inviting Best Westerns, and Hiltons with less amenities in the rooms than this little speak-easy of a motelWill definitely stay again if we’re ever back in town!

We appreciate that they welcomed our pet The rooms are small and a little dated, but not important to us The bed wasn’t the best, but we’re picky

The place is pretty noisy We could hear every step upstairs and the loud late night conversations in the lobby and dining area all night long When we tried to see if somebody at the front desk would help with the noise, nobody could be found We spent two nights, but didn’t get any sleep The location is great with quick access to hiking in the area We probably will seek alternative accommodations next time

Jenna Schaser

The pictures online and the outside of the hotel are misleading It looks a lot nicer than it really is The room was very dated

The first room we went to smelled like smoke, so we moved to a new one The pullout bed mattress was horrendous My 5 year old complained about springs stabbing him The breakfast was minimal (cold cereal, toast, oatmeal, eggs, waffle, sausage) but tasted good, so we were satisfied with it

Booked a room direct with them a month ahead Asked for a ground floor room because we were starting a tour and had our bicycles in boxes all ready to get on the train the next morning What we got was an upstairs room with a king bed

Room was clean, small, and minimal A 2star motel Didn’t get much sleep because of noises and bright lights Also we paid $159 Going direct and when I looked online the going price was $98 complete Ouch!If you are going to stay here book online for best price, and don’t expect much Clean bed and hot shower is all you’re getting at best

Good budget motel if you need to crash for the night At only $65 before tax, we were happy to get a good night’s sleep here during a 14-hour (two day) road trip passing through oregon My husband, toddler and I all slept well

The neighborhood/environment is fairly typical for a budget motel I didn’t go into the front office but my husband had no complaints about serviceWe appreciated the tub as it helped baby get relaxed and sleep good, even while we snuck around the room, eating our dinner etc! I didn’t immediately figure out how to get the tub’s plug to work but we stuffed a washcloth in and it worked just fine, so no big deal They provided a nice slip-prevention mat for the bathtub and/or the floor outside tub, that was a life saver Soaps and shower caps were also provided, thank you!We liked the microwave as it enabled me to (using my own mug and teabag), make some teaWe appreciated the ice provided And room had an ice tub, plastic baggie The mini fridge appeared great but it wasn’t plugged in when we arrived and we failed to double check it was working so our milk did go bad – I should note that there may have been an error on our part such as plugging in in wrong (perhaps) and we did not tell the staff about the fridge since we were already leaving by the time we discovered the issue But I’d have just used the ice instead if I’d knownAs a bonus, the subway restaurant, taco time, and dutch brothers nearby provided us all food we needed

Kat Thornton

The front desk person was unprofessional to say the least He was asking questions that had nothing to do with our stay Things like “why are you here if you are local” and “why are you sharing a room for 4 people if it’s all girls” and just super personal and unnecessary questions

I work for a travel share hotel and these questions would not be okay to ask at check in so it was completely unprofessional The room was clean but the beds are uncomfortable and the tv volume was not good There was also no TV guide so it made it impossible to find a channel for my kids to watch They only have one housekeeper and because of that it took them 3 hours after check in before we could enter our room but the housekeeper they had was very professional and attentive to our needs Overall the stay was okay but needs a little more improvement

Kristine Wright

Room was clean Easy check in/check out Next to a Pilots gas station/truck stop

We stayed in a room with 2 beds There was a mini fridge and microwave But no coffee pot 🙁 Would have liked one in there Small dining room table and 2 chairs The AC/heater worked Good cable channels to choose fromOverall it was a nice stay All the staff from check in to housekeeping were all very kind and friendly Helpful when needed Housekeeping is very on point and friendlyConsidering this wasn’t our destination, we did appreciate the hospitality and patience with us while staying there And the extra kindness with time Thank you again 😁

We pulled in here late at night after a long day on the road The beds were comfortable However the toilet wouldn’t work

It flooded the bathroom and we had a mess We called the front deck and they said there was nothing they could do until morning So the beds are nice, but you might have to put up with some other issues I definitely would recommend staying at another hotel

Amy M.

This hotel was absolutely disgusting There is a bug infestation in the hallway by the stairs/elevator The hall light by the exit door is full of insects

Our room had a graveyard of bugs in the windowsill and on top of the ac unit, that we noticed in the morning Asked to be refunded for our second night, so we could stay somewhere cleaner and they refused Didn’t even send someone to clean up the hundred or so green bugs (Guessing baby grasshoppers) There were also some alive grasshoppers hopping around So gross If we hadn’t already paid close to 200 dollars for this room, we would have went somewhere else The pool and hot tub had a nasty film on them as well(observed from the hallway) Cleanliness is clearly not a priority here Stay away

Lisa Gilmore

A good place to stay The sheets are so soft, they have soft and firm pillows to choose from The bathroom should have been cleaned a little better

The breakfast was seriously disappointing If you stay and order delivery from Abby’s Legendary pizza the pictures are the Ceasar salad and cheese pizza Save your money go to Burger King across the street

Staff were professional, courteous, and quite helpful The lodge is located near the river and close to downtown The rooms are a bit outdated, but for my overnight it was fine

Coffee, tea, cream, and sugar are all in your room with a functional coffee pot Soaps, etc provided in bathroom Bed was very comfortable Also from a price to quality ratio, this lodge was perfect!

Tara May

The owner and employees were nice enough but that is the only positive thing I have to say about our stay This hotel is WAY below Wyndham standards We paid $200 per night for a 3 bed room, which was at one point 2 separate rooms

The bathroom in the joined room was not usable, in fact it was full of home depot boxes and clearly hadn’t been used for some time Our room looks to have had some recent updates but they were very poorly done and unfinished The usable bathroom door didn’t even close all the way, my non-smoking room had ashes in the dresser drawers and half of the lights in the room did not have bulbs in them When we went to use the guest laundry to wash baseball uniforms it was being used for storage of old mattresses and chairs and was not usable Nor was vending or ice Updates were being done in the room directly below us and fumes frequently filled out room The area, condition of the room and the people in that area of town made my kids very uncomfortable Wyndham should have paid ME to stay here

Mark D

Comparable pricing, older hotel, clean bathroom, clean beds, clean floors Very dirty table tops and night stand Thin walls and very drafty door

May been bad but I would stay again Talked to manager and without complaining he was eager to know about issues and what I liked In time I think they will be a much better hotel Takes time to restore older hotels and customers pay for what they get Love it when management is open and wants your input

Had an excellent nights stay! Beds were firm and comfortable Rooms were clean and spacious It did smell a bit like fresh paint when we first walked in, but it dissipated quickly

The hot breakfast was good and the service from all of the hotel staff was excellent Highly recommend for a quality, cheap place to stayThe only negative was that the hotel room door was missing part of the secondary U-bend lock, but the deadbolt worked so it wasn’t too much of an issue

Jonathan Whitten

We needed a quick place to stay after visiting Crater Lake It’s a bit far but other places were booked up This was perfect though! Bed was comfy and breakfast was filling

Rooms were clean, just older feeling but more so in the bathroomThe staff were friendly and kept the place clean Parking was plenty The town is nice too with lots of food options that other towns closer to Crater did not have

Jake McClain

My wife and I very much enjoyed our experience here The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable Good selection for their free continental breakfast

It was quiet despite being very busy The indoor pool area looks lovely but we didn’t get a chance to enjoy it this time They have a pet area to take your dog potty which is very much appreciated Good location right off 6th and crater lake parkway Staff was very friendly and professional

I have lived here for several years We have new owners in the last year or so who claimed they would fix the place up

So well see Only change I’ve seen is the rent going up and trailers/manufacturered homes in all the empty spots We had tons of snow this year, and the snow management was atrocious both in the park and the treacherous county maintained road to get out here I would try for a place in town, if you don’t have a lifted 4 wheel drive

Made a last-minute reservation for a Double Queen Deluxe room as we were passing through Klamath Falls for 8/1-8/2, 2022 Check-in was very quick; the staff member on duty when we arrived around 11pm welcomed us, and we were able to get our room quicklyOn arriving at our room, we were very pleased with the size of the room and the quality of the furniture

The place had been pretty well remodeled recently and we were happy with the accommodations I especially appreciated the large TV and table! The only issue here was that we noticed there was a bit of an odor when we entered To try to clear it, we turned on the AC, but it turned out that this odor was coming from the AC unit and it made the smell even more pronounced As it was late at night, and the hotel looked to be pretty well fully booked in any case, we didn’t bring it up with the office until the next morningThe free breakfast was excellent! The waffle maker was popular, and the eggs and sausage were better than I’d expected for a smaller hotel On checking out, I let the gal in the office know about the smell issue She was very apologetic and wrote it down for the maintenance crew to handleOn the whole, we were happy with our stay here! I’d definitely consider staying here again if I pass through Klamath Falls again

Gross to sum it up Avoid this place if you can, the manager is weird She was looking inside our room at my teen which of course was inappropriate and felt like our privacy was being violated

The room floor was dirty ,as well as the fridge and microwave When I confronted the manager about looking at my teen she said she looks in all the rooms 🤨 um yeah gross This was supposed to be a quick rest stop on a long road trip but of course I had to leave as soon as possible and found another clean motel down the road, were it felt safer

Hannah Evatt

The room was very dirty and reeked of cigarette smoke There was hair all over the room, and pubic hairs covering the toilet seat Very disgusted

Hotel staff was very unprofessional and lacked hospitality Anytime I had a question or needed assistance i felt as though it was a hassle to accommodate to my requests Better off staying somewhere else and paying extra to avoid getting stuck by a dirty needle and being harassed by the people the staff allows to hang around outside

Motel 6 in kalamath falls is rocks! The cheapest place in town is usually the last place you want to stay I stopped in to see if I could tolerate a night there and was blown away The pool is open and inviting

The lobby and the laundry room are clean and new The room was clean and comfortable And the women at the front desk were nice and accommodating Thank you Sirenia and Angela! How can a room this cheap get 5 stars across the board? Come see for yourself

This resort had it all, and even though I didn’t take advantage of all the amenities, I was impressed The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and the bedding was high quality The restaurant was open and their food was delicious and prepared well

I had breakfast and supper there a couple of nights and very much enjoyed my stay The staff was friendly and helpful I highly recommend!

We have stayed here each year for about 10 years We had a less than satisfactory experience last year and had hesitated to make reservations again this year I’m not sure what changed but this place has done a complete turnaround!!! Everyone was so friendly and accommodating and truly made you feel like you were welcome!!! From our house rental to the restaurant to the wonderfully run market and beautiful grounds…

we loved our stay and will definitely return next year to hopefully the same genuine hospitality

Patty Anne

I’ll never go back I thought this was going to be a high end stay Our TV in our first room didn’t work and they were reticent to give us another room

Kids were running up and down the halls screaming from 7 am to 10 pm Our second room had a spider Worst of all the couples massage we reserved over 5 weeks prior was cancelled with no notice They never called us We went in prior to check in to verify the time and they lied and said they’d tried to contact us Same phone for 6 years, same provider, no phone issues No one was apologetic They were horrible! Don’t waste your time and money!

It is impossible for a hotel that does not offer housekeeping during a 3-day stay to get anything greater than three stars But unfortunately, this hotel is not just cutting corners on housekeeping They’re not keeping the pool or the hot tub clean

Over my 3-day stay I watched the hot tub get progressively more and more filthyThe room was reasonably comfortable The air conditioning worked but it was noisy The bathtub was a bit worn and dated The staff were reasonably friendly and helpful

Rye Angel

Can’t hook up to the internet with PS4 or switch

Even with Ethernet cord Walls are paper thin, hopefully the room next to yours isn’t loud There is a laundry amenity it takes quarters Bring soap The attendant at the front was nice and helpful Full parking lot after 7pm Have to park way out or in the comfort inns parking

The staff are very friendly and helpful with good recommendations for the area The rooms are alright The fitness room is solid

Thin walls as mentioned in other reviews, you can always hear people talking in adjacent rooms/halls Loud elevator and loud outdoor traffic Honestly just very noisy all aroundThe breakfast is delicious however the fact you cannot self serve is excruciatingly annoying The area where guests can normally grab food is blocked off by tables and you have to relay your desired items to the staff The workers do their best to accommodate everyone in a timely manner, but it’s a clunky and unnecessary system

Was staying here regularly for work, not as well kept as other hotels I’d used in the past but it was fine My last stay I found what appeared to be a bedbug crawling about, checked head of mattress for black spots and lo there were definitely bedbugs Noticed that the heater was cranked to high, so I suspect someone knew? Front desk got me a new room that was clean, but didn’t seem too worried about the possibility of bedbugs in the hotel

I haven’t and won’t be back

Bed had way to much bounce for my liking The AC unit had broken directional blades and covered in a thick layer of dust (as I was making adjustments to the setting, it got all over me) When I laid down on the bed to go to sleep, I kept itching, so when I got home the next day, first thing I did was take a shower and do laundry (after reading other comments about finding bed bugs, it makes sense)

Advertised as having a free breakfast, but when I get there, they don’t offer a breakfast (false advertising)I paid $116 for all this My advise, go somewhere else, there are other places to stay within walking distance

Carlos Angie

The 2 stars was for the perfect night sleep on their mattress, very comfy We checked in and found out breakfast was no longer served The ad states it does

The bed cover was so dirty, we removed it and washed our handsI called front desk and found out 12:00 noon is check out We went for breakfast and came back for showering and our room was being cleaned out at 9:30 am! We will NOT be back
