Amazed at professional the staff were Made my stay that much more comfortable in a clean room The place was quiet considering the location so close to shopping placed, a pharmacy two blocks away, service dog friendly, an semi enclosed outside smoking area and even night time security doing round checks quietly

For the price it was worth the value I’ll stay again

This was a great place Quiet, clean, and super private Had a mini fridge and a microwave in room, along with these super cool soap dispensers in the shower

The best part was how sweet the staff was! Our truck battery died, and a super sweet man named Stalus came to help right away I am so grateful! Definitely will be coming back!:)

In the past the food was great Not this time I ordered a NY steak one of the most expensive items in the menu and they called 45 minutes later and told me to come to level 2 and pick it up

It was barely warm Then they gave me plastic utensils For steak? The fries were cold and stiff I wish they would have called as soon as it was done The hotel hasn’t changed Still out dated

My family and I were so excited to come and camp here the staff seemed nice and friendly When we arrived at our campground my 9 year old son picked up a paraphernalia pipe and said “mom what’s this?” I grabbed it and talked to my sister about it who has 3 kids under 4 with her as well I decided to go up to the office and drop off the pipe and basically just told them “you might want to have your employees check your camp sites better before allowing other FAMILIES check in

This crazy woman drove her golf down shortly after and told me a 30 year old woman to respect her elders and that I was out of line for coming at them like that!!! Then told me she finds needles and drugs all the time there Her words were “don’t your kids go to school? “ all of this in front of OUR CHILDREN!!!! disrespectful establishment!!!

Building is old but you’re basically renting a full apartment The room I rented had a full kitchen, complete with range and full sized fridge, a full bathroom, and a spacious sleeping area There were extra safety measures taken such as a key pad entry in order to access the rooms which, as a solo traveler, I appreciated

The staff were kind and helpful and they did everything they could to accommodate my stay The price isn’t too bad and it’s much better than other places in the area and you get more with the full kitchen and bath I will definitely stay here again when I come back

The staff were super nice and helpful When we arrived, my husband had an eye injury and they helped us get him to a doctor that morning They also helped with IT issues with our phones

The beds were comfortable, on the firm side with no memory foam but good support and slept well The rooms were clean and shower, bathroom were very clean as well The security was excellent An excellent value for Anchorage and a very good location

This place is really dirty!! The carpet in the hallway and stairs is terribly stained and has a musty odor I ran my hand across the table in our room and brushed off crumbs, the appliances even had dust on them It was very cheap compared to other places in the area but we quickly found out why

Our room was very hot and with no screen in our window so we could not keep the window open all night for fear of bugs flying in all night, plus staff would smoke just outside the entrance which was right below our window We also noticed a homeless encampment just up and across the road from where we were staying in a wooded area People were roaming in and out of the property all the time The woman staff member was very friendly and helpful but when we went to check out a man was sleeping behind the desk and would not wake up even after we rang the bell 3 times I reported the issue to the woman and she said yes he does this all the time and even the owner is aware of it Not a great place!! Pay more and get a better place!!

Excellently run and maintained hostel Friendly staff and manganment that will help you find cool things to do and rent you some gear to do it Bikes, poles, tents all readily available

Beds were comfy and rooms had lockers for your luggage Walking distance from food options and a bar Complimentary coffee and light breakfast Even a sauna and an awesome teepee that can be used for an outdoor bonfire Felt like being part of the community while here, it was loads of fun

Unsafe DIY bunk beds and bathrooms that can’t be locked The girl “working” reception didn’t offer to check me in early even though rooms were ready and, worse then that, she made me wait 15 minutes pass check in time for absolutely no reason (guess she wanted to assert her power?) Overall the staff was rude and the place dirty This is basically a squat – except usually when I sleep in a squat I don’t have to pay 60 dollars for it

I came back to Anchorage a week later and chose another accomodation

This was a very lovely, delicious (!!) ladies’ luncheon in connection with my church denomination’s annual business meeting+ meeting The facilities are excellent Be aware that there is not a (client-available) elevator! For the lady in a wheelchair, we had to go back outdoors, around the left side of the building, then bang-bang-bang on the door! A sign at the entrance would have been helpful

Aside from that issue, the food and spacious banquet room were perfect!

This place is super old, they are slowly updating some things but have long ways to go to bring it up to modern standards They have no HVAC controls here, in fact the heat is always on, even with thermostat off, thus why the fans in the room I as told to open the patio door for cooler air, what is this 1910? Typical hotel breakfast so pretty low quality there, so don’t expect too much on that subject

Shower curtain is shorter the height to bottom of shower so lot’s of water gets out on floor, honesty i don’t understand who can’t see that in management and says that is a good thing for safety or the flooring, but whatever Great view however, see pic Floors are super thin so hear everything above you

Okay so I found this hotel decent, good enough for our one-day stop But I think I would have hated it if I stayed longerThe rooms are okay-ish

The showerhead is static There is no airco while it can get quite warm in the rooms The walls are thin, and the doors of the room slam shut So soundproofwise its terribleCurtains were ripped off by one of the previous guests, and were somewhat dirty tooThe beds are big and cozy thoWhile the rooms are big the bathrooms feel cramped, with the waterboiler and the icebucket being put in the bathroom Like why? There is enough furniture and or place in the room for them to be placed in the roomThe breakfast contains the most cheap products, like cheesestrings and scrambled eggs made from eggpowderThey had constructionworks going on, but that didnt bother meStunning view on the lake6/10 not great, specially soundproof wise a lot of work to be done

Very friendly and professional staff Although the building was recently struck by lightning, and caught fire, you would never know it from outward appearances There is a slight smell of the fire lingering, but nothing threatening or overpowering

The building is sound, inviting, and comfortableThere is a restaurant and bar in the basement, that hosts lit dart boards, along with a Billiard Hall for the pool tournaments There is also a large conference room for the big partiesThe rooms are clean, well kept, and spaciousThe view is Beautiful! You can’t go wrong staying here
