Absolutely loved staying here The outside does look older but the inside is very very clean I stayed here for 2 months as a travel nurse and have stayed in many hotels

This one was so cozy and comfy especially when it rained The owners were extremely sweet and always accommodating Cove lake state park is less then 5 minutes away and it is gorgeous Me and my little dog loved everything about Caryville, TN As a travel nurse by myself I never felt unsafe here I never had any issues with pests either The store right across the street has great BBQ too! I would definitely stay here again if needed

I read the reviews before I stayed here I have to say, I didn’t see any of the negative stuff I read The property was clean and neat on the outside

There are small stores close by, which was really convenient A beautiful park called Cove Lake Park 2 minutes away with a waterfall hike called Devil’s Racetrack that was absolutely stunning The staff went above and beyond of any place I’ve stayed, especially for the modest price of our room We were hours late, he waited for us Brought us bottled water for our fridge in case we didn’t have any for our dog as it was too late to go get anything Our room was cleaned daily and done well We felt safe I would stay here again without hesitation

You won’t find friendlier or more professional staff Often traveling for family and other reasons I can say without a doubt I wouldn’t spend money any other place around the area The staff seem to really try to make sure everyone checks out with having had a great experience and will do anything they can to ensure the customer is not given an unsatisfactory experience

More places could use this one as an example of how customers should be treated

Felt safer here than Knoxville Shower worked fine Bed was broken (mattress literally had a huge divot on one side) and only had sheets on the bed

We had to ask for blankets which the lady thought was strange and gave us a blanket with stains and cigarette burns, as well as a “drape” (we actually found this hilarious and now refer to the hotel as “The Drape”) Hubby felt itchy after our stay so we’re assuming there were bed bugs Floor was filthy But seriously even with all of that it was better than the Rodeway Inn at Knoxville At least we felt safe here!

Joshua Fancher

Cons: Room smelled musty, possibly from the AC filters needing cleaned Potential amazing view of the mountains from the rooms in the rear, particularly blocked by over grown shrubbery Moldy grout in the bathroom, no one has swept behind the bathroom door in weeks

Pros: NO BUGS! New mattresses, clean bedding and linens, a little bit of a good view from what you could see of the mountains, staff seemed welcoming accept the night lady

Blessed Road Inc

Clean and comfy, super friendly staff! I chose this one, because it’s the closest to Nashville with truck parking Motel 6 is my go-to, because I have pets My only complaint is that they only have one washer and dryer, and someone left their clothes for hours

It would also be super helpful if the app had an option to indicate that you have pets I was given a different room than the one I reserved, because all of the king bed pet rooms were taken I don’t really care about the size of the bed, but it would be easier on everyone if you could have that worked out ahead of time

Charlie McDonald

If your traveling with pets at night or just in general you might want to call and MAKE SURE A PET ROOM IS AVAILABLE!!! We booked online for a pet room and when we got here they said there were no “pet rooms” available Thought ALL rooms were supposed to be pet friendly like every other motel 6You’d think if they saw you booked online they’d have the decency to call and tell you the pet rooms were full so you’d have time to look for another hotel!Definitely don’t recommend!!!!!!

The good: comfy beds, great water pressure The bad: stink bugs everywhere, the toilet was not functioning properly, the AC was not working properly, the lobby closes so if you need or want something your stuck waiting until somebody answers the phone, the only nice person I spoke to was the guy in the front lobby on first shift, very pricey for the basic room you get What I paid for a night should be what you pay for an entire weekend

alvaro campins

The people that work at the hotel are great people! I stayed for three weeks and the people were always attentive, my room was cleaned, towels changed and bed made every single day unless otherwise specified They would give me all the coffee, soap, and body lotion (in the winter) I needed, and any time I’d have a question they’d gladly help me out They even kept an Amazon package I had ordered for me until I got back from work and handed it to me

When time came to check out, I arrived late from my job and although the time for checkout had already passed, they neither hurried me nor penalized me, but rather they opened my room back up (the key card wasn’t working anymore) and told me to take my time In all honesty the hotel is a typical pitstop one-night type place, but their attention really made it feel like a five star hotel I’d definitely stay here again (and am planning on doing so next week)!

Stayed 5/20/2022 Old, but decent place to stay Lots of updates done to the room and pretty clean

King bed was a little too hard We were disappointed to learn that they were not serving breakfast, even though all info on Choice Hotels website said it was included I feel we should have been given a discount or more points for the stay They still had the doors to the lobby locked up so all communication was through a window Traveling from NE Ohio to Central FL and back, this was the only hotel we encountered doing this Masks were used at other locations, but not locked down & all served some sort of breakfast or snacks It was rather noisy but I since it was a Friday night, we should have expected that We both had our ear plugs to help quiet things down Lastly, internet was not working

Anthony Herring

I give it 4 stars just to even out the other really low reviews I think this hotel is truthfully a very solid 3 out of 5 The area and the other people staying at the hotel seemed a bit sketchy so be careful about that

Room was a bit dated, but overall clean Shower was also dated, but surprisingly very clean, worked great no real complaints No breakfast due to covid apparently At the end of the day, this is a cheap hotel It will do what you need it to Do not expect this place to compare to the Hampton But it’s a good bang for the buck, for sure

Terry Tallent

My mother stayed here at this hotel on May 21st no problems with her dog which is a lab The hotel says pet friendly but in the description no where does it say how big of a dog Anyways they let her stay on the 21st no problems

Today on the 6/6 They refused her to stay but would not give her a refund She’s traveling from Arkansas to Delaware Now she don’t have the money to stay elsewhere

Gosh just read the reviews I asked to see a room before paying, they only had smoking rooms available on a Friday night, oct 2021

I opened the door to 12A and the smoke smell about knocked me over It was really not nice Maybe the non smoking rooms are better but I left in a hurry Running a motel must be a hard life so I’m trying to be sympathetic but if this was my place I would be kind of ashamed to charge anyone $60 a night

Becci Yorks

Do not stay here!!! We left after 15 minutes, they said that they couldn’t refund the money

I didn’t argue It was a gross place! Dirty, seedy, stinky, mold in bathroom, loose electrical outlets, ugh, it was gross!**update** since they refused to refund, I called my bank, the guy there had been to this place and agreed about conditions Bank did investigation and my $65 was refunded!

Recently renovated Not that the Hampton Inn next to it is bad, but I actually preferred this place Unfortunately, they don’t offer the corporate rate I use as regularly as Hampton Inn

I’m also better vested in Hilton’s rewards programThe breakfast was really good aside from the eggs, which tasted instant The cinnamon rolls and the biscuits were outstandingAll of the staff were great Very friendly, especially the desk clerk, who I think was named Mike He was very friendly and helpful I left something valuable in the room after I checked out, and he was a great help trying to find it I also credit the housekeepers as wellAs far as the room, it was very large, so large that it could use another piece of furniture such as a sofa The bed was amazingly comfortable but was lofty My small husband’s legs dangled sitting on the edge The room had a large, rectangular, low setting set of drawers The top of it was a convenient spot for staging and setting luggage We loved the tile shower stall with the large containers of shampoo and body wash

Tracey Bransfield

It was an excellent stay, we were only there for one night as a stopover But found it to be a great value Newly renovated rooms, very clean bathroom and bedding

Extremely comfortable beds with high end sheets and pillows Typical breakfast in the morning, with a few hot items Pet friendly and quiet I would definitely recommend and stay again

Kellie Bannister

I cannot say enough about how great the staff was here We arrived late but were met with a lovely lady who helped us find food and just made our stay that much betterDay time employees were just as nice

The lady making breakfastshe was so friendly and is quite the singer 🙂!The rooms were well kept and had everything we expectedWe regularly stay at Holiday Inn express hotels when we travel and this was by far one of our best experiences

We stopped here for an overnight (5/27/22) with our pup on our way to North Carolina I chose the location because they were pet friendly and right off the interstate GREAT hotel! Incredibly CLEAN room! Love that they are going zero waste with large refillable shampoo, conditioner & body wash in showers

Using high quality products that I’ve used at luxury hotels Nice touch Hampton Inn Clinton! Definitely recommend it and will stay again!

We crashed late and got up early to make the drive home from vacation, but slept so well for 6 hours we almost stayed longer to sleep in more 😂 with three little ones that’s not always the case We got up at 6 for breakfast and the older couples eating were all so kind, the staff was super friendly and the breakfast was excellent! We enjoyed our short stay very much!

Matthew Rodenbeck

I am in a wheelchair and require an accessible room Made a reservation on a Monday for Wednesday night in an accessible room with a roll in shower Drove 6 hours and showed up at 7 PM Wednesday to be told I don’t have a room

What? Young front desk person said “reservations don’t guarantee a room” What? Why have reservations then? I’m not your average Joe that can make any room work I make reservations because I have specific needs Shame on you, Hampton Inn! That’s pathetic customer service Thanks for a great start to our vacation

It’s a bit pricey but it’s worth it because it’s super clean and they have a full breakfast and they’re king suite is phenomenal The bed is pretty comfortable even though it is firm it seems like it’s going to be more bearable than previous hotels on my trip Happy to be here

Not happy about getting back on 75 North but I’m happy to be off the road and happy to be in a clean and beautiful and safe place Better make reservations fast because it books up! I was 7 minutes away and they had three rooms when I called reservations By the time I got to the hotel, I got the last available room Well worth every dime!

Ruth Wickliff

My husband and I stayed the night at this hotel and we both agree, this is the best hotel we have stayed at in a really long time The room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable Everything was very clean and updated

And they served an actual hot breakfast! There was such a wide variety of breakfast foods, we couldn’t believe it So much better than the other (more expensive) hotels we stayed at on our trip And the hotel staff was so friendly and nice too We will definitely stay at this hotel again when we are in the area If we could give more than 5 stars, we would!

Robert Gilmore

Sam the proprietor of this establishment is absolutely fantastic! As is his entire staff His hotel is exceptionally clean and tidy The free breakfast is absolutely fantastic and fresh

I have to admit that my favorite item is the automatic pancake maker Push the button once and you can watch the little machine plop down two batter piles The conveyor moves it along as it cooks them and turns them in to perfect little delicious pancakes that drop out on to your plate I have been there several times and love the atmosphere and staff!!

Booked a room one month in advance for May 19 through 22 2022 My fiance called to confirm the reservations he spoke with Tosha she said she could not find our reservation So my fiance booked another room for that weekend On the 22nd of May 20, 2022 they charge my credit card $550 for the room they said they could not find

We gave them fiancee’s credit card when we arrived so they charged us double for that room for that weekend I called talk to the manager they were very rude and said that it just showed up as a no show that they could not help us I told him I was gonna write a review he said “do what you need to do I don’t care” Be careful this is a scam they will tell you they cannot find your reservations only to bill you twiceThe room smelled like mildew I would not even give one star if I didn’t have to write this review it was a horrible stay I called in advance they said they had a swimming pool when we got there they said A-line was broken that they probably wouldn’t have it up and going for a year After we got there we saw that there was other really nice hotels really close by

Being a Hilton Diamond Member, I stay at many Hampton Inns This one by far is the best Very happy with the great guest service

There were several people working which is rare to see, and all friendly The outside and inside were both very clean Breakfast was amazing and not your standard The story behind the hotel is really incredible! There was a logistical snag with our room (one king instead of 2 queens) but the fixed it right away Great place!!

Missy Mangen

Did a long trip recently Stayed in a lot of hotels along the way Tried this one for our last night on the road

Such a great stay The staff was nice Everything was clean The room was cozy and quiet The bed was comfortable Good water pressure in the shower Breakfast was good Had to stand to eat just because of the amount of people already there Wonderful view Would stay again

I was on a solo motorcycle trip I selected this hotel based on priceThe rooms are adequate and reasonably clean

My room had a odd musty smell which was faint but noticeableThe breakfast area was well equipped and clean The hotel interior was reasonably cleanI found construction debris in the parking lot which consisted of a roofing nail, a staple, and a razor blade So a little attention to the exterior would be goodThe hotel was well under capacity when I was here so my observation of quiet may be a result of just not very many guests But there’s no road noise The hotel is quite a ways off the roadThere is some food within walking distance, but the selection is not great

Will Frank

In the recent past, I’ve had less-than-desirable experiences with hotels However, while I was traveling home from Hilton Head Island, my family needed to stop for sleep, and this was our only option since all the other hotels in town were closed When we walked in, the staff was very friendly, and the bedding was surprisingly comfortable

Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d return here again without hesitation!

Stephanie Haydocy

Quiet as far as road noise but our next door neighbors had a child who kept slamming the door late at night We didn’t complain though Ordered Papa John’s pizza with the code included with our key card

It was pretty good Our room was only $88 and had 2 queen beds Our room and the bathroom were clean Staff was exceptionally nice All in all we had a great stay We had drove from Ohio to Tennessee to see Smash into Pieces at the Concourse After the show, we were tired and decided to stay in Tennessee overnight We are glad we did If you are in Clinton-Knoxville, Tennessee and need a room, check into this place God bless you all Be safe!
