I was here for two nights and I found the room to be clean and the staff to be very accommodating My only issue is my room was near the highway which sometimes people with out mufflers would go by during the evening This is not the hotels fault and I am sure I could have asked for a different room and they would have done this

The room has a full refrigerator, stove and microwave Wifi worked great and I would stay here again

Ivy 2343

Stayed in 2 bedroom suite It’s bigger than most but a bit rundown and stained It’s on a busy street so it is not as quiet as I would have liked

The breakfast was fine with eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt etc coffee is at the front desk instead of with the breakfast for some reason The pool was very tiny and we decided not to go as 2 guests in there already made it too crowded I would say I’d pass next time Keeping it real as always

Lawrence Jones

Don’t stay here The room was not new and clean as it appeared on the picture Actually looked nothing like the pictures, well a dirty run down version

It stated that it was a smoke free room and that room smelled like a chain smoker stayed there We left right away and they still charged us a 1 night stay and we were literally in that room for 2 mins If your a chain smoker and don’t mind a nasty room then this place is for you

Kendra and Jonathan were ABSOLUTELY Wonderful A1 customer service is definitely what they providedThey explained every single detail in regards to the room, dining, parking, events being held at the hotel, local things to do and much more

The room was very nice It was clean, the towels were great quality compared to a lot of hotels I’ve stayed at recently, elevators were clean I also like the fact that there was a microwave on each floor to accommodate the guests that needed oneI will definitely stay at this property again in the futureMy opinion for the negative reviews I read, closed mouths don’t get fed A hotel should not receive a bad review because you didn’t speak up for them to address your issues with your stay while there There are a lot of staffing issues due to COVID and unfortunately the hotel industry is probably seeing a impact just like every other businessThanks again for wonderful stay away from home!

I’ve been traveling to this area often for work and have had a hard time finding a decent hotel in the area This Renaissance met all of my expectations Clean, quick and friendly service, updated rooms, quiet and has a nice gym

See Hugo if you go to the restaurant, he’s fantastic! The beds here are SO comfortable I slept great every night I also liked that while they don’t have a microwave in the room, they have one for guests in the grab and go areaMy only wish is that they had coffee options before 7am, as I’ve been heading out early for work I’m happy to have had a great customer service experience after what feels like far too long Will be staying here going forward when I travel here!

LAUREN CALTA

While the hotel itself was clean with an attractive lobby, the customer service was below what I would expect You must give 24 hours notice if you want your room cleaned and then I would recommend that you follow up to make sure your request is recorded I stayed Thursday through Monday and although I requested the room be cleaned twice, it was never documented in the computer and therefore never cleaned

I had to request twice for someone to come get the dirty towels from the room and getting a full set of clean towels was a chore The housekeeping staff was less than accommodating , as I had to chase down a cleaning cart to get fresh towels as the chamber maid ignored me while pushing the cart right by me Certainly not worth the money and I would not return

I just visited here for my boyfriends birthday I only stayed 1 night but I have no complaints on my visit My room was very clean

The weather was at 40 degrees, got a delicious hot chocolate from the bistro I forgot tooth paste and asked the front desk for some and to my surprise they actually had it They were extremely friendly and polite They only reason didn’t give it 5 stars is because the rooms have no microwaves

Sharon Miller

Mattress was extremely soft and needed a chiropractor after my stay No one should be asked to sleep on a mattress with absolutely no support whatsoever Pillows had absolutely no support whatsoever

Bathroom has no fan Room was not cleaned We were ignored Front desk has an attitude key card works when it wants to Hotel needs a makeover

Patrick Vial

Perfect location Close to the beach but not right on A1A where it’s hard to find hotels with parking Hotel has plenty of free parking

There’s a Denny’s right across the street and the hotel has their own Deli Shop I didn’t use the pool but it looked cozy and comfortable with plenty of sun The hotel was spotless Crew was always keeping it clean I like the balconies in the rooms overlooking the pool Very cozy tropical style

Overnight stay 5/21/22 Because of long drive got to hotel early 11am , check in wasn’t until 3pm Told clerk would have to sit in lobby until we could get in room

Within 30 minutes Clerk advised room was readyChancey did excellent job in helping us out Overall hotel is under renovations and room was across from two rooms they were renovating Workers did not quit until 6/7pm Heard all the banging, dropping of toolsetc until quitting time Breakfast was very good and breakfast host Hasina was very friendly and professional Not to bad of a stay would probably stay there again

Ms. Shugga Deborah Rosenbloom

Airport shuttle which is great Not sure if the driver speaks English, he never said a word except “thank you” when I tipped him 🙂 Breakfast is good and the morning host was quite pleasant

The bed sleeps well and the room is spacious Only thing bothered me was housekeeping knocking on my door before check-out 10:57, I had already called to let them know I was taking advantage of my membership and checking out late 20 minutes later another knock I strongly suggest leave a tip for housekeeping, they deserve it I appreciated leaving my luggage while the shuttle took me to the car rental It was most kind of him to suggest it, not knowing I would have a walk Of course I tipped himMost likely I will visit this location again

Elizabeth Hoelperl

Beware of the cancellation policy If your flight is canceled, they don’t care You will lose your deposit, one night’s stay, or reward points

Do not book this hotel until the very last minuteWhen our flight was canceled, we needed to change two other hotel nights, a tour, and a rental car All were past the cancellation deadline This is the only place that refused Therefore when I rebook this trip, I will not be staying here and I will happily rebook with all of the others Great housekeeping staff at this hotel—I was here for a week last summer Never again, unless I’m literally in the parking lot ready to check in

This is one of the best Hampton Inns I have stayed in It was stylish and modern and It looked like it had been recently remodeled I was very impressed with how nice the room and building looked compared to other hotels in the area

Everything was clean and in working order Breakfast was very good and all the staff were friendly and courteous This hotel also had vending machines plus the lobby market place which was nice Also in a great location close to shopping and restaurants I really love Hilton’s mobile check in, which made my life so much easier when I got to the hotel late and could just go straight to my room I would definitely stay here again next time I am in the area

Kathy Thompson

Not only was I highly impressed with the room and the cleanliness of it, but I was also very much impressed with the excellent level of customer service my family and I received All front desk and cleaning crew were very pleasant I would recommend them over and over

My sister and I took our Lysol wipes to clean the room down in its entirety and imagine our surprise when not a speck of dirt could be found throughout the entire room, bathroom, beds and microwaves nor doors That was an amazing experience The breakfast was just as pleasing as there was an array of breakfast items to choose from, whether it was hot or cold I would have rated them 10 STARS if I could

A friend and I had drove into Ft Lauderdale from Tampa to visit friends Of course, on these kind of trips something always goes wrong We found ourself without a place to stay at 10PM

We desperately called over 10 hotels in the area Finally we looked a little further and that’s when we found our sweet savior Connie She took care of us and offered us a room at an extremely fair price When we got there she greeted us as if she was an old friend! This is my first Google review but I was so impressed by Connie’s service I decided to make one! She deserves a raise, it’s hard to find service people that actually care about patrons As for the rooms, they were nice The pictures online aren’t very accurate because they seem to be updated and pretty modern The bed was comfortable, soft pillows, etc The room was clean as well We got a late check out and slept in Nothing bad to say here!

This is not a staff issue This is a management issue Teach your staff how to greet people

Offer the amenities you purport to offer Add more than four seats at the pool Quit trying to make money by saving on cleaning staff Those are all management decisions Don’t blame your staff if you don’t empower them Seems like a big case of cheap and micro managing

Joshua Cartlidge

Rooms were basic Had a stove but didn’t offer or have an pans/cups/anything in the room or have any availablePlaces were close by which is good

Most people I saw working there and spoke too acted like they didn’t want to be there

Families be aware, safety is a concern here For weeks, a group of men stayed here and everyday they drink alcohol and leave beer cans and bottles everywhere around and in the property Some of these men verbally harassed me while they were drunk and my partner reported it to the hotel staff

Nothing got done, the men still get drunk in the parking lot or pool, leave their alcoholic drinks behind, and harass women If the hotel cared about its guests and/or reputation, it would have kicked these people out by now There are families with children that come here, these types of guests should not be permitted

First time staying at this particular hotel I loved it Even though it was 12 miles away from the convention center, I didn’t mind the drive because it is a world better than the hotels right by the convention center

I loved the location Staff was very nice and eager to assist with whatever you needed Exactly what you would expect from a Marriott property I will stay there again and hopefully Plantation Walk will be open Very nice!

I have stayed over 1,000 nights at a Marriott branded Hotel This Hotel is significantly below average compared to other Sheratons I stayed atLet me first start with a positives

The guy in the club lounge was super curious, responsive and wanted to help Excellent service mire commonly found in Asia or Latin America that the United States The lobby gets lots of natural light and it appears was remodeled not too long ago It’s got your standard breakfast area, a little bar and some conference rooms There’s a fountain outside and there’s plenty of parkingThe reason why I’m getting this two stars is because the rooms are just very old and kind of dirty For example, there is scum in mildew all over the bathroom Another example of the coffee table was scratched up Except for the mattress, it felt more like a old courtyard Marriott than a Sheraton The room is large as you would expect in a suite but again in bad need of updating The drapery seem like it came from the 1990s The shampoo and soap they give you is from big bottles of fixed to the shower wall There’s some hygiene risk there given I’m sure they don’t replace the whole bottle after every guestI have included photos so you can judge for yourselfThe AC unit was loud and didn’t respond to the thermostat very well I think I might have caught a head cold or something after two nights

Maggie Lou

Did a weekend staycation, this hotel is located in the heart of the upcoming area of Plantation Walk For that reason, make sure you get a parking pass because they do ticket cars There is security patrolling the area on a cart

Just a reminder parking isn’t free The staff were really nice and helpful The Sheraton Suites appears to be renovated from the outside and lobby area There are places were upgrades can occur such as the pool and hot tub area The room was nice but it has it quirks like turning the switch down to turn on the light, the noise the sink makes, the struggle opening the closet, and the movement of the refrigerator when you opened it They have a dining area where they serve breakfast, Starbucks, and a small bar Aside for a sign saying they have a breakfast buffet, if you don’t inquire about its most hush-hush There were not many people eating meals when I pass by in the morning or evening If there was a menu available in the room or during check-in, I’m sure they would have more people The hotel was reasonably priced but certain days the price fluctuates tremendously especially weekends and holidays

My room was not cleaned, the carpet not vacuum I found broken glasses on the carpet in the room Back of the toilet seat had poop stains

I asked to changed the linen All they did was putting them in the room for me to changed myself The crazy thing is when I go to the front desk and asked if they could clean my room vacuum and cleaned the toilet It seem the front desk right away see me as someone making life difficult Even though I took pictures of the stains and glasses on the floor It seem no one checked if what I was saying was even true I spent two weeks at that place and it was not clean I had to be the one asking for new blanket and i did my bed Toilet was filthy and smell like someone was smoking cannabis in it I actually took pictures of the room if anyone want to see or think I am just complaining Trust me I’m nice in my review the customer service was the worst I have ever had in any hotel I ever been I met only one lady that seems to care at the front desk after I showed her picture of the room She was nice and stated she was the front desk manager But even though she assured me the room would be cleaned By the time I came back at night the room was not done or vacuum However the day after the toilet stains was finally wiped away That was before my last day staying at the hotel I would not suggest for anyone to stay at this place However I did feel it was a safe place to stay

Jimmy Puccio

The Good: The staff was very courteous, offered free bottled water, and the room was clean/spacious, especially at the given price point The fact that they also offer a free parking garage for guests to use is a huge bonus The bed was also very comfortable, with nice (useful) pillows

The not so good: I deducted 1 star because the rooms are in desperate need of a professional remodel The current state of the rooms just looks like 30-40 years of quick remodel jobs (thick, caked on paint, old wall plates for light switches and outlets, extremely loose wall outlets, etc) If you’re staying here for a night or two, you’re totally fine Anything more is your call

Alan Whittemore

Fast, friendly arrival/check in experience I was checked in by someone who appeared to be relatively new and learning, and he did a great job! He was being actively mentored/supervised by an experienced associate and they did a great job Did it take longer to check in? Well, based on my experience as a frequent traveler, I would say, yes it did probably take 30-45 seconds longer

I’ve experienced this before and I never mind seeing someone learning especially when they appear to want to learn Both the trainee and the trainer seemed to have a very customer-centric attitude and dispositionThe ladies working in the “Bonvoy Lounge” (I think that’s what its called) were awesome! So friendly and welcoming Their hospitality was great and it was obviously very realFitness center could be cleaned up a little (and restock the cleaning wipes for wiping down equipment) but it was nicely equipped and I am grateful for it

Currently staying here on my last night in Florida with my daughter after staying in the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in the night before This hotel is the complete opposite! We feel very safe here! It has code entry for access to the hotel and the rooms and the owners are very careful who they rent to The rooms are clean and cozy and the staff are super friendly and take very good care of the property

The courtyard is quaint with various tables chairs and beautiful landscaping At night they close the umbrellas and turn on the lights that decorate the trees It’s just lovely! I would love to come back and stay here again

Jeff Eiskina

We enjoyed our stay in this perfectly located hotel, and had fantastic nights out in Fort Lauderdale The hotel was clean, secure, and the staff were all attentive and helpful I really appreciated the code system for entry, as I have a tendency to lose keys, or accidentally deactivating the card keys

This is close to the beach, all the attractions of Miami and the wonderful beaches up northI am a value traveler and this hotel was definitely the best value in the area And I had the most basic room possible, I imagine the upgraded rooms are fantastic

Alicia Mecum

Wonderful little boutique hotel We stayed for 4 nights and found it very clean, quiet, and safe It is very close to the airport and cruise port, just a mile or so away

The owners are very sweet, even their little dog Prince is a sweetheart! Parking is included with your reservation (which is very rare in Fort Lauderdale) and overall we felt we were getting very good valueWe originally booked an Airbnb, but they cancelled on us a couple of days before our trip (!), so we were happy to be able to book a 4 night stay at the Boutique Hotel pretty much last minute We stayed in a studio suite which is a pretty large room with a full kitchen (like a REAL kitchen, not one of those mini-hotel sized kitchens) with granite counters and full sized stainless steel appliances It is essentially a studio apartment and was great for us because my husband preferred not to go out to restaurants since we were going on a cruise and will eat like kings for a week!We loved it and will definitely stay here whenever we come to Fort Lauderdale

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a resort This web site will compare thousands of booking websites and normally will have rates a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This place is one of my favorites in this area

I’ve been staying here for a long time If you stay for a few days you won’t regret itI feel this is a hidden gem It’s a great upscale hotel Very attractive furnishings I found my room to be very clean with a very comfortable bed The shower is super huge with plenty of hot water! Little extra touches of classy shampoo and a makeup mirror I actually like the quiet location as well

Laurie Quinn

Very modern updated hotel with decent size rooms, very comfortable beds and beautiful bathroom, only wish it had a smart TV, and lighting is too white, almost florescent in the rooms The lighting is actually really bad The pool is heated and very nice

The restaurant here was very good with excellent lighting and ambience The food and service were outstanding Excellent salsa, & guacamole with delicious chips is highly recommended Large portions of everything!!

Mark Molin

I usually take negative reviews with a grain of salt because some people just tend to over complain when they think they’ve had a bad experience, but this truly is a bad experience The hotel is nice it’s clean, but there was one towel in my bathroom, you can only request maid service if you are staying three nights or more, and in an 11 floor hotel only one elevator is working… and they don’t expect the other elevator to be working for at least another week

The one elevator that is working only works intermittently I believe because you have to wait so long that the system just automatically resets and then the button doesn’t work again They don’t have complimentary coffee in the lobby The front desk staff wasn’t very warm and inviting at check-in and couldn’t even recommend any local restaurants to try I would think that for $300 per night I would at least get a complementary cup of coffee, a warm greeting, or more than one towel If none of these things matter to you then this is a hotel for you Otherwise buyer beware…

First of all their internet was down so we had to pay cash and no wifi Then we found gum stuck all over floor I had to scrape it up

Then after we returned from dinner we were met in the parking lot and told we couldn’t unhooked our trailer from the truck or we had to move it After discussing how after truckers pass confirmed truck parking was allowed for my hot shot trailer The general manager decided we could continue to stay only if we hooked back up over night because the weight of the empty trailer Now just to clarify the trailer weight is much less than the truck As we were leaving over an hour before checkout time my husband was taking out stuff to the truck housekeeping tried to walk into our room had I not been in the room what would she have done???? She did not knock or announce housekeeping until I grabbed the door seeing who it was This was the worst motel 6 ever When we booked the room we were told there was a refrigerator and microwave, there was not Only 1 chair no table either Like I said worst motel ever I doubt we will ever stay in a motel 6 again

This hotel had great staff, was overall very well maintained, and had great food We stayed two nights in two different rooms Not the top of the line hotel by any stretch but it was a good affordable place to stay

The pool and exercise room were clean and quiet The second room we stayed in felt very damp and smelled bad like pee or mould from the air conditioner and that was really unpleasant but they were fully booked I would stay there again because the staff were great but should’ve pushed harder to get that room changed

kimberly cox

They let us know the room was ready early via email they let us check in right away checkin and checkout was greatThe room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable The only complaint would be breakfast the ladies working on Saturday morning were extremely rude they started shutting down breakfast before 9:30 am

If you asked for anything like the pancake machine to be refilled they said no until one guest spoke with the manager on duty and the ladies were told to put another bag of pancake mix in the machine They locked the fridge with milk and yogurt before 9:30 so you couldn’t get any even when I was asked I was told there is juice

We were dissatisfied with the accommodations as the tub was dirty, with an obvious ring around the tub area, and the bathroom look as if it was under construction The air conditioner was extremely loud and the temperature was either too hot or too cold There was also construction next door but the noise wasn’t too terrible

I called the office for a different room, but the new accommodations toilet wasn’t working properly I had spoken with the front desk, and no rooms were available at the timeWe then called the Sheridan hotel on bookingcom and made a new reservation but my husband is 71, and definitely didn’t want move againUnfortunately we will never again stay at Holiday Inn Express, as the room wasn’t nice and clean as the website pictures

This hotel has the potential to be a nice hotel However, there are some issues that needs to be rectified During my 2 day stay my room did not have any hot water in the shower

I was told that the water only gets warm but the water didn’t even get warm It is obvious that the pool haven’t been cleaned in a very long time Plus the overall cleanliness of the hotel can be better Even though the rooms are decent and the hotel is in a good location The issues that I address tends to take away from the potential of the hotel

Woke up and wanted to take a shower; the water was cold You can imagine how that felt They serve “breakfast”

Came down and it was a few apples, crunch bar and a few pre made ham/sausage burgers No veggie options Pool was not functioning Jacuzzi was dysfunctional Why did I pay that much money for? Would’ve been better off at Marriott or Hilton Staff was nice and respectful, that’s why the two star

Glenn Witherspoon (Spoon)

The cold water pressure varying during the day The faucet usually there no cold water, and the water is to hot to wash your hands The shower water pressure is very weak

Above the shower head, there peeling paint, you can see the green mesh tape The bathroom door get stuck The carpet is sticky, need to be steam cleaned The lobby is really nice, and they have great parking The staff are nice and professional

BEYOND IMPRESSED I thought that affordable pricing meant it was going to be an awful experience Everything was clean, the owner was extremely nice

If we asked, she let us know some fun things to do around town including the super convenient bar across the road It’s in a hotel, so without her we wouldn’t have even thought to go The house keeper, she was amazing!! I don’t think she ever stopped cleaning when we were there She replaced our towels SECONDS after we’d ask The smell of laundry constantly was so refreshing and truly kept our mind at ease The hotel rooms themselves were just as clean Over all the best 5 star on this entire trip We had the best experience and are making plans to come back for our 1 year anniversary since this was our honeymoon 😁😁

We had nice time in Hotel Motel – we kinda anticipated our room would be of lower standard, and we felt positively surprised that room had nice standard at this price and location (<300 m from the beach; surrounded by new & much more expensive properties) Room smelled of fresh linens, we had a coffee machine, mini fridge, microwave and plenty of towels We were told it was Nikki's job and we were super satisfied with it

One minor inconvenience was that sometimes the reception was closed with the letter on the door to call when you need something We had to wait to check in, but afterwards we were compensated with additional +1 hour to check out – so nice!

First off, this is a motel (not a hotel) The rooms feel like a prison cell House keeping isn’t daily

VERY BASIC necessities We werent given any soap or shampoo The pool looks like a dirty swamp Bathroom smelled horribly when we got there and the toilet never fully flushed Check in and check out is very difficult as nobody is ever in the office The only reason I didn’t give this motel 1 star is because of the great location near the beach

My best friend and I had a great experience at the Oasis Hotel The staff was incredibly friendly and the accommodations made our expectations Their garden area is super nice, strong wifi signal and the location is close to everything

The room was cleaned regularly and we had no issues with the check in/ out If you’re looking for a reasonable stay in FL area with all the access then I would say look no further

Minutes away from whole foods, pizza, drug store and across the street from a Starbucks We stayed for 9 days as my partner recovered from surgery and and it was exactly what we needed We were in the hotel probably 80% of our trip

Most of things I was unhappy with are things out of the hotels control, as its not a new building (Small bathrooms, loud ac blowing directly on the bed, slow drains etc)We only had loud neighbors at the end of our stay, who were up until 3am (really thin walls) Parking lot also needs to be repainted, lines aren’t visible and parking can get confusing and crampedAgain these are things the hotel can’t really control, but are worth mentioning for comfortabilityHowever, I loved the grounds of the hotel Beautiful landscaping and foliage throughout, and they have a great courtyard to have your coffee in We met the hotel cat here too Everyone was friendly we interacted with tooI probably would get a larger room if we were planning to stay for more than 3 nights, but this is perfect for a short stay or vacation where you won’t be in the room very much

He was very helpful and I didn’t have to wait long to get checked in The room I had was clean Bathroom was clean and had no complaints The courtyard was peaceful and very nice for the price I paid for and couldn’t believe that you could find a hidden gem in the heart of Las Olas Downtown area Now that I gave you this honest review, you to go ahead and book you stay NOW!!! I promise you, you won’t regret it And thank you Chris for being a great hotel guest I will be back and recommend everyone to stay 😊

Fritz at the front desk made me feel very welcomed and at home Check in was a breeze, he informed me where everything was located throughout the hotel and he also gave me a list of near by restaurants/stores that were both in walking & driving distance The hotel itself was very quiet, nice and clean from the front door up to the rooms

They also offered breakfast in the morning from 0630-0930hrs which included omelets, sausage links and patties, oatmeal, variety of Danishes , coffee, juice etc I just wished I had more time to enjoy the pool but due to rain, a cold front and an already planned itinerary, I couldn’t make it to the pool Besides that, the location was awesome, it was located near the highway and across from a shopping plaza and fast food restaurants This will be my new place to stay whenever I’m visiting Ft Lauderdale

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a place This website will compare thousands of hotel sites and usually will have rates a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This place is the best rated in the area

I’ve been staying here for a very long time If you stay for a few nights you for sure won’t be disappointedThe kind of establishment where you can easily spend a week and nobody will bother you if you don’t want to be bothered, but the staff is also friendly enough to have a chat with if you’re in the mood Free parking, decent pool It’s just a bit too pricey for what it is, but then again so is every other hotel in Fort Lauderdale

Had to book a night at the end of our trip coming home from a cruise at the last minute because the initial hotel we booked was

absolutely gross So with that being said, along with it being spring break and cruise season, the rate was pretty high But the staff working was really accommodating We disembarked our cruise ship very early, and got to the hotel hours before check in The staff locked up our luggage when we arrived and invited us to grab some food at the continental breakfast We had to wait a few hours before the room was ready, but they got us checked in before noon (normal check in is at 3 pm) We were really grateful for that The room was clean, bed was comfortable, hotel was quiet at night, and we were right across the most amazing Mediterranean restaurant that we had dinner at (Shout out to Mini Pita!!) They also had free shuttles running regularly to the cruise port and airport I was happy with our stay

Hotel is old Bed was very uncomfortable Lumpy and too soft

Pillows were lumpy and so thin they offered no support AC wasn’t working well Room temperature was just below 80, even hallway was cooler This was one of the worst Hampton Inns I’ve stayed inStaff was friendly but poor room quality couldn’t be overcome I would not recommend

Morgan m

One of the best Hampton Inn I have stayed at Down on business, manager helped me with tweaking my last minute reservations Breakfast was better than quite a few other Hamptons I’ve stayed at

Every location will be different for sure, but cleanliness, accommodating, and flexibility wise they are doing it rightWill definitely stay here again next time I am in town
