Although we are locals, my husband an I take little getaways every so often just to spend time alone and reconnect, and this hotel is our go-to place The location is very convenient It is private, but close to all amenities – restaurants, shops, and entertainment

The place is very clean and well kept The beds are very comfortable and the staff is truly the best They always go out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable A big SHOUT OUT to Heinz at the front desk who remembers our name every time, and for all the great, personalized service and attention to details she provides BIG Thank you, too to the hard-working and nice people of the restaurant They are so friendly, helpful, and efficient

Connor R. Peters

The cleanliness of the room is terrible Yellow stains on all the beds food on the floor, no fitted sheet on the beds After bringing this to the attention of the front desk she moved us to another room

When we got to the new room it was even more dirty Only 1 sheet on the bed so we would basically be sleeping on the mattress with no sheet Liquid stains running down the side of the bed Food on the ground A big water spot on the carpet Overall the hotel is beautiful in the lobby but the rooms are old and extra nastyI would definitely reconsider booking this hotel!

Dani Thomton

It was a very nice hotel The lights were out in our bathroom and the maintenance guys were on it as soon as we let them know My only complaint is the desk clerk watched my grandson and I walk back and forth with our luggage trying to find the correct elevator to take us to our room and didn’t say a word until I specifically asked

As I an a disabled US Army Vet with a noticeable knee impairment, it would have been nice had she asked if I needed assistance rather than watch us struggle while noticeably lost

Stayed here twice now and it’s head and shoulders above most hotels, including higher end ones Super clean Comfortable beds and pillows

Continental breakfast is fresh and hot For example, fruit is actually appealing to the eye and tongue Chain is known for its tiny yet tasty pancakes Staff is super professional and helpful Cindy (not sure on spelling) was at front desk and awesome over the phone and in person when we checked in Melissa the next morning–same: awesome all around! Quick ride from central location into Dallas, Fort Worth, or Denton

This is my go-to Holiday Inn Express when I’m in the Lewisville area Friendly Staff Clean Rooms Big parking lot with lots of space

I’ve been coming to this location for years and they are always top notch I travel for work and stay in a lot of hotels They are not all created equal even if the name on the building is the same But you won’t go wrong with this one Great location Lots of food options nearby Easy access to the highway

Robert Allen

Booked on my app which I specifically put king size bed When I got there the clerk told me “I’m sorry I have no kings left” I don’t know if the clerk wanted to give that king to someone else or if the IHG app is messed up

Either way would’ve been a great 5 star visit if it wasn’t for that and the lack of soap at the sink Only soap in the room was in the shower but I was too tired to deal with itOverall the breakfast was good, the staff were friendly and my room was passable

Wow! This Home2 Suites location truly exceeded my expectations Our room and common areas (lobby, breakfast area, gym, laundry, etc) were clean and well maintained

The housekeeping and maintenance staff were absolutely on point with cleanliness and upkeep efforts I also observed the front desk staff consistently wiping down common area surfaces with disinfectant wipes every night Parking was plentiful and we were offered complimentary waters as Gold Honors members Breakfast options were fantastic with a balance of fresh and delicious cold and hot foods – from cereal and yogurt to egg sandwiches and omelettes and waffles – something for everyone! Our room was spacious and well appointed with comfortable beds and a thoughtfully designed layout The only area for improvements was the bathroom which, like most Home2 Suites, was too small And, in our room, the water pressure in the bathroom sink was very low The hotel staff also exceeded my expectations and truly lived up to Hilton’s customer service promise Jason and Angel from the front desk were especially kind, welcoming, and helpful – making us feel like valued members of the Hilton Honors community They made our stay extra special!

Staff was amazing and helpful Rooms were clean Great hotel

Would recommend to all I was there due to a loss in my family and the way they treated me not knowing what I was going through helped me greatly It is nice to be treated well and not because someone feels sorry for you The staff was sincere in all my interactions and had no clue what I was going through Overall it is a lovely hotel

Rebecca R

The front desk staff was incredibly gracious and accommodating, quickly finding us a room after a reservation mix-up at a nearby location They even made up amazing goodie bags upon check-in with bottles of water and several snacks, which we appreciated after traveling all day/nightOur room was clean, spacious and modern with two queen beds, a comfortable sitting area, small kitchen with a refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave plus dishes/utensils

Daily housekeeping was optional, which we appreciated especially after being in crowded airports/flightsThe hotel also had a fantastic little sitting area with colourful tables, a fire pit in the evening and a daily free breakfast buffet with Texas shaped waffles

UNK Pockey

When I first checked in it was easily 5 stars all the way around and couldn’t believe the wonderful service for the price But unfortunately as our stay continued the price started rising and the Continental breakfast went from top notch to motel 6 standards Getting charged more for less Service from where we started

The Staff has kept the wonderful service through all the changes they are having to deal with

Lisa Fleischer

I visited the Inn while “back home” dealing with family issues The staff here is incredible! So very accommodating and helpful My mom and two sisters also had rooms

Additional issues arose and they helped us work through the details without complaint The cleaning staff was also very helpful working around OUR crazy schedules!! Thank you so much!! For sure visiting again!!

I was very happy at the hotel with my overall stay I was not happy with my experience at the bistro Most days I was waiting for several minutes before I was greeted, then when I was greeted, I could tell I was an inconvenience

The young lady was rude to me, including no eye contact or thank you I thanked her for helping with my order as I know sometimes I change my mind, but she let me know she was annoyed with meNext time I’ll go to the local Starbucks, like she recommended 😌However, I absolutely loved my room and OMG Gina was so great and funny too! 😂😂There was also a young man in housekeeping that was doing such a great job! Super upbeat and friendly!! 😉😁Wonderful location with a beautiful view! Will stay again🌻🌻

The Hyatt Place at The Colony is astonishing to say the least I loved my stay here in my quality room which felt like a suite The TV can be quite hard to navigate, but I eventually figured it out

I love the comfort of the beds The lobby is super nice and if you need to study or anything, you can hang out there or even outdoors Restrooms in the hotel rooms are nice as well I would give this place a 10/10 and recommend it to anybody looking for a quality hotel room and lobby Thanks, Hyatt Place for meeting my expectations and more!

The hotel staff was extremely friendly Everyone was very pleasant and helpful and we were always being greeted in a friendly manner The reason I am leaving a 3 star review is because I thought the coffee at the breakfast was absolutely terrible

Now I write this review and a professional reviewer I understand it is complimentary coffee, but it doesn’t take much to serve a descent cup of coffee You guys certainly serve a great “real” cup of coffee from the bar that is not free but the free coffee served with breakfast was just tan water It is probably better that you do not serve any coffee, then that coffee Every single person I asked agreed that the coffee was terrible I do also feel like the rooms need a good carpet shampoo as well But for the most part the hotel was nice and I most likely would stay there again if I traveled back to Dallas

kat

I’ve stayed in quite a few Hyatt Place hotels these past few months so I’m basing my ratings on comparisons with those While the room is great, the bathroom was dismal There was absolutely no where to stand in the shower/toilet room

The door took up the entire area In two of my pics you can see the door actually touching the shower stall and then the toilet They definitely should switch to pocket doors here or just redo the bathrooms The staff was very friendly and the hotel is in a good location Free parking doesn’t hurt either!

Vada Abrahamson

I had to stay one night here after missing a connecting flight All of the hotel staff were so friendly, but the free shuttle to and from the airport is what topped it off They sent us a shuttle after the closed shuttle time and William still seemed so please to serve me and my sister, telling us all about the beauty of cruises and making us laugh the whole way

On the way back to the airport checkout was extremely smooth and our second shuttle ride was great as well Tim was such a calming presence in the middle of a truly chaotic flight, if you get to ride with him sit back and enjoy the ride while learning all about his life adventures He inspired me and my sister to stay calm and experience more of the beautiful parts of life in just a 15 minute drive

Stayed two nights Very quiet, bed comfortable, breakfast was quite nice with perfectly done scrambled eggs, bacon one day and sausage the next Coffee quite good

My only complaint (and it didn’t particularly bother me or my wife) which might bother some people is the shower and toilet rooms (two separate rooms, which is nice) have frosted glass doors So if the toilet gets used at night, the light may bother other sleepers in the room

Richard Sides

This hotel was reasonably priced, so I was surprised to find the staff to be so helpful (I’d had outpatient surgery nearby, and recuperated in my room for a day) so I wasn’t in great spirits – but the staff rolled with it and were totally amazing! The room was spacious and well equipped – absolutely no complaintsThe breakfast was crazy! Reality good food, with well selected options – I left full and happyMy only disappointment was that I was heading home where things would be less accommodating!!!

Danielle

Rooms are nicely renovated Cleaning staff not through, I asked to have my room cleaned twice and body wash refilled The sinks, counters, floors were never cleaned and I had to ask multiple times for body wash

When calling the front desk, they made it seem as if it’s an hassle to ask for their assistance The breakfast menu is terrible, they only offer breakfast sandwiches, Quiche and oatmeal, not very appealing taste wise No option for hard boiled eggs , fresh eggs or breakfast meats They have a bar, which is a nice service in the evening I will not be staying here again when I travel to the area

I really enjoyed my stay at this Hilton Garden Inn The staff was a highlight, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome (and comfortable) While some wedding guests took to the halls to continue the reception after it officially ended, I felt the rooms were set up wonderfully to drown them out

You do have to pay for breakfast, but I do feel you are getting a better meal than at many similar hotels (and way better than an average continental breakfast) Also, should you wish to venture out of the hotel for a meal, there are numerous options just a few minutes away Speaking of location, it was very convenient to get to and from the airport, while feeling like a world awayIn summary, should you want a wonderful hotel in the area, at a wonderful price, I really feel you cannot go wrong the the Hilton Garden Inn Dallas/Lewisville

Shamika Solomon

So much for Memorial weekend at a hotel that had no running water due to “plumbing” issues All the money this property makes and you all have plumbing issues? The stay was less than what I expected, we were not being told anything other than, “we are waiting on management to arrive (that NEVER arrived), on top of being given the run around about when the water would be back on The most this property has agreed to do is provide Hilton Honors points, yea right you are kidding me I would like my money back!!!!!! Never again! Till this day, that same “manager” has yet to compensate the members

Ridiculous!

Rooms were nice, but standard Unfortunately, no microwave to heat up leftovers and mini fridge was pretty mini Staff was nice and the little shop next the front desk had a good selection of drinks, snacks and necessities to choose from

They do sell alcoholic beverages from a mini fridge behind the front desk if you don’t want to get a drink from the bar Pool area was nice, lots of seating areas, but pool was a little on the smaller side Overall, nice hotel, would consider staying here again

Brian Range

The bed was hard We had a suite and the room was not at all what we had expected It hadn’t been dusted either

So it makes me wonder if it was even sanitized Was very disappointed that there was no microwave! Was very inconvenientthe shower pressure was awful I did enjoy the bar and restaurant service Al the bartender was amazing and if I was to come back it’d be because of his customer service Thank you Al! Breakfast was good as well but was disappointed there was no pancakes or waffles on buffet I’ve never been to a hotel breakfast that didn’t have them just like the microwave situation, for the price of the room and it being a suite it should have a microwave! I will definitely consider staying somewhere else

Tameshia Wilson Gumbs

Currently in my room and this place never disappoint me I love everything about it Indeed, there are additional costs when parking in certain spaces as well as having a great breakfast

But it is an option if you want it You can pass up that option and just get a room without those perks for a lesser rate The restaurant in the hotel is really good and comfortable just like the rooms This is my 3rd stay and I look forward to many more stays as we travel up this way frequently for my daughter’s ice skating lessons

Here for 2022 LC TAGS Booked their suit that comes with 2 rooms with one queen bed in each room and sofa bed Experience is definitely good

Roomy for the family of 5 A good size table to sit on to eat food Shower and toilet are separated by a door from the sink, one can take shower while others still can brush teeth Will designed layout!

Jordan Axt

Currently staying here and the water isn’t hot, just barely warm enough to shower Then came down to breakfast and they are ok completely out of eggs and oatmeal by 8am Now I won’t get to eat anything before a long day of meetings

😩 Hotel is otherwise clean and spacious but those are big items to miss I would be more understanding if it was busy but there is only one other person in the dining room

All star 🌠 place! We live in Flower Mound and had a leak under our slab We were displaced here for 1 night Well taken care of property

It’s modern Pool, all the amenities, they accept pets but let me put my focus on Daisy Carter When I learned that our insurance wasn’t going to cover a couple nights in the hotel I was broken a bit I love and respect the service that all of you do Daisy didn’t charge us for another day I stripped all the beds and put all the towels in the tub I have housekeeping experience If you ever want to make a housekeepers day, strip your own bed and throw everything wet in the tub! Then leave some cash behind too They allowed us a late check out without charging us First time crying when ever checking out of a hotel setting Daisy and her team accommodated my family more than just a nice stay over She showed us grace and compassion YOU all have a special team there! Thank you for understanding our level of craziness dividing it by 314 and then converting it into a great bedroom suite I served 25 years in the hospitality industry and know when a place is well run I’ll post pics They also serve breakfast with protein! We thought we were going to be there for a week We were there for 1 night Excellent stay Thank you for your service! JR

Wes at the front desk was great at check-in and throughout my two night stay! She made the hotel feel like a second home the lobby is a nice area to hang out and play some pool or shuffle board Although the pool was a little bit cloudy during my stay the maintenance team looked to be cleaning it as i was leaving the hotel on my last day

I would recommend this hotel for a family getaway but the rooms are fairly small and not very spacious for tons of kids!

Jackie Hindley NE-OMAHA

My stay was excellent! Friendly staff, especially West at the front desk The room was wonderful; most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! Everything I needed was available Great breakfast choices

I enjoyed the pool and there is also a workout room and an activity area that includes a pool table, games, and activities I felt safe and welcome every time I entered I have already recommended Tru by Hilton in The Colony to others Thanks for everything!

Tom Merrill

Friendly staff but cannot recommend anyone staying here I understand this is supposed to be a budget friendly hotel but they take it a bit too far They leave the thermostats on heat to ensure the A/C doesn’t run between guests

Also they turn the hot water off at night So if you have any early AM departure, plan for a cold shower Certainly will wake you up!

So we made reservations 2 weeks before our arrival My wife used our debit card to secure our room We drive all the way from Houston, and when we arrive to check in, they tell us we need a major credit card to run for a deposit

Well, we don’t have a major credit card So why our debit card with plenty of money could not be used is beyond us We arrived very hot and tired from our drive with bags in hand at the counter, and they basically told us sorry you can’t stay A hotel is supposed to welcome tired travelers who just want to relax and rest, but not here! My wife and our our 2 daughters were very disappointed! HORRIBLE customer service We went to Country Inn just next door and they were very nice and welcomed us with open arms with only a $100 deposit that we got back when we checked out We will NEVER stay with this hotel chain after just kicking us to the curb, not even so much as an apology

I have stayed at many other Fairfield’s but this is the worst I have experienced When you enter the lobby, you can smell the sewer smell WiFi never worked and couldn’t conduct my business at the hotel

Cell phone signal is also very weak, could make phone calls from the hotel Rooms are nice At breakfast not enough fruit No bananas at all I will not stay at this hotel again

Staff was great, ESPECIALLY Johnny at the front desk, even on his first day He had great customer service skills and was very kind Very clean

I appreciated the front desk staff so much I had to come here after dealing with roaches at the country inn across the street, I informed the lady at the front over the phone and she made sure to put me into a King suite She worked with me quickly yet very patiently Everyone was extremely hospitable I enjoyed my stay here and if I visit the area again, they’d be my number one pick Everything was great

It is a very nice hotel the check in staff was great and very helpful The breakfast was really good and area was clean My room was clean

They were short staffed on housekeeping so my room didn’t get cleaned until I left It’s not their fault but I don’t like that so that’s the only reason I gave a 3 star service But it was a safe and great place to stay I would definitely stay there again

Small Stout

The room I stayed in was clean I thought it could use more light The tv lost connection to the cable/satellite

The refrigerator was not cold and did not get cold even overnight There were three adults staying the night, but there were only 2 washcloths, one hand towel, and three bath towels The staff was friendly and courteous There was a good choice of breakfast items and was kept available for all guests There was adequate seating to eat breakfast

I’ve stayed here three times, and never had issues staying here The staff was friendly and the room sizes are a nice size It is in a very good location, and accessibility is important to me when booking a hotel

As a travel agent location, room size, and accessibility are essential to my clients when booking rooms for them The price for the stay was decent, that’s important as well

Sydney Denney

Nice rooms and really good food in the lobby So convenient that they have a Starbucks menu, too! I was confused about the room service because they told me my room would be serviced every day (which I personally don’t prefer) but it was only serviced on day 4 of my 5 day stay Some of my coworkers got service once and others none

Pretty inconsistent, but it’d be great to give guests the choice

My experience was wonderful, the hotel staff was great! One staff member in particular, Ashley on the evening shift, has excellent customer service skills I watched her with every person that came in, that her beautiful smile and her bubbly personality never changed! Thank you and it made my stay very enjoyable and I will come again ! D Davis

If you have kids under 40” skip this place and check into the Great Wolf I attended a conference but kids were too small for slides One person maximum going down slides and 300# weight limit(was no where near limit)

Had a three year old that loves slides but he wouldn’t go down by himself like you can at Great Wolf Reception/Staff was not very knowledgeable about water park kept referencing the map Guidelines do not list a one at a time rule Tons of cute things in hotel for kids but posted notes that they are for pictures only, no climbing/touching Two kid meals on menu Again had to reference website for more options Indoor pool is part of a spa and people getting spa stuff done groan on kids actually playing Outdoor pool is hot Weather was over a hundred Nothing inside hotel was for kids except a tiny place you could paint a small cheap canvas or put something together Great wolf is literally next door Valet is high if you don’t use it I will definitely stay at Great Wolf next time and use valet to park Three hour wait on dinner was insane I wish I had known

Absolutely fantastic! Everyone was super nice and helpful So many things to do! The shuttles to see the shows were great and the drivers were super cool! My only complaint is that we did not get our room cleaned the last two days we were there and our coffee supplies had run out I called the front desk and they delivered more coffee after about a 30 minute wait

I really need my coffee in the morning! I guess I should have called the night before but I was too exhausted from all the fun!

Stayed here and found our room ready early, which was quite nice Room was clean overall with comfortable & fluffy beds (2-queens), plenty of towels, high pressure shower and not far from elevator Service is super friendly too, here! The hotel is beautiful all over with it’s spacious gardens, water fountains, coffee shops and more

Four tickets for their water park were included which was awesome great water park with slides, zip lining, splash pad and more! I highly recommend it, even if it’s just for a nice walk around the hotel and having a refreshing cup of coffee with a loved one! 🌺🍃

The staff was professional and nice The rooms were clean, and the air-conditioning worked well The bathrooms were clean, but there’s not enough room between the toilet and the sink

The ice machines weren’t working, so I was brought a pitcher of ice to the desk The AC in the hallway wasn’t working It seemed the hallway on the third floor was open to the outsideand during temperatures in the upper 90’s! We picked the Holiday Inn Express and booked for that hotel, but we found out that it was and had been closed (Not mentioned on the website) Fortunately, we were able to deduce that we were changed to the Holiday Inn next doorApparently, the three hotels that are next to each other (Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, and Stay Bridge) are all under the same managementToday when we went to have our complimentary breakfast we were informed that they didn’t have anyone to cover breakfast today, BUT we were welcome to go two blocks down to the Stay Bridge where breakfast was being provided

By far the worst experience ever! Booked this reservation in advance and called the day of my reservation to notify front desk I will be arriving but late to make sure I would have a room to stay in When arriving front desk notified me that they didn’t have my room that I booked ( 2 queen beds) I traveled with my family of 4 and she requested I stay in a king bed

I told her that wasn’t except-able then she proceeded to tell me that her only choice was to cancel my reservation She didn’t try to accommodate or help in any Talking to me rude, disrespectful and as if I was stupid I was out for over 2 hrs trying to find a place to stay cause everything in Dallas and fort worth area was booked This time frame was from 11:30 to 1:30 Always over booked and they never help with accommodating! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Traveled with my sons soccer team, families that booked through a 3rd party site all had their reservations canceled even though it was booked months before The families that booked directly through the hotel even just days before had their reservations honoredItalia working the front desk was extremely rude and of zero help

Edit in response to the owner: You say you have no control over the 3rd party, you were the ones who cancelled our reservations the day of arrival So, no, I don’t believe what you’re saying You are the ones that chose to overbook and cancel ours
