I stayed at Rosevine for a nursing travel assignment and couldn’t be more pleased to have chosen to stay here I stayed in the Texas Legends room Bert and Becca are absolutely wonderful and treat you like their own family

Any issues were quickly addressed through e-mail with Bert’s assistant, Emily The house and each room is decorated beautifully Enjoy some time in the hot tub, media room, or the charming barn You can tell a lot of thought and effort is put in to make Rosevine Inn the place to stay If you’re looking for a place to stay for your travel assignment in Tyler or even a weekend getaway, I would definitely recommend Rosevine Inn! Bert & Becca, thank you for making my time in Tyler great! 🙂

My husband and I stayed in the Sherlock Holmes Suite/House for 2 nights So much love, time and effort was put into preparing this out of this world suite We were very pleased, happy, content and thankful with our wonderful visit

A big shout out to Bert and Rebecca for providing such a unique place to visit We will return in the future and hope to visit one of the other inviting suites

Rosevine Inn is such a wonderful place to relax! Beautiful historic house that has been thoughtfully transformed into a Bed and Breakfast! That leads me too one of the best parts of my stay…the breakfast! Becca’s frittata and breakfast sourdough bread!! We stayed in the Sherlock Suite in the Watson Cottage with it’s mystery and charm! Burt has created a unique place to escape to, and he has the scoop on all the best places to visit in Tyler! Make sure you meet them while you stay there They have thought of everything from the comfortable bed to the rain shower head! Book your stay today! We will be back!

It was exactly what neededAfter we had driven 12-14 hours on this particular leg of our journey, we decided to finally stop for the night, instead of attempting to make it another 5 hoursComfortable, clean room with a HOT shower and great AC

Pet friendly as well, which was great for our 23# pooch Even the complementary breakfast that was scheduled to start at 6:00 am was ready at least 30 minutes early, so that we were able to get an earlier that expected start on the next leg of our tripThe very friendly and hospitable night staff were absolutely TOP NOTCHI would recommend this La Quinta location to everyone!

Excellent hotel for traveling with dogs: available fields on each side of the easy-access location Older hotel, well-maintained with soft water, excellent pressure, hot/hot showers, all amenities in room, and most comfortable bed ever experienced in hotels Front desk staffer Hope a dream-come-true for travelers

friendly, competent, super customer service Multiple food and shopping services available within walking distance Hot breakfast back in business

Kate Hoey

Overall very meh Served my basic needs as a hotel, clean bed to sleep in with bathroom facilities Mostly friendly front desk staff other than the white-haired lady who talked on the phone constantly, even through my need for help with my room key

Pet friendly even for large breeds (Great Dane) Otherwise, it smelled very musty the moment you walk in, my room was very humid and never felt quite cool, I found sunglasses and a damp towel in my bathroom when I checked in, the floor in my room was sticky, the furniture is damaged and the walls in my room needed repair, the bathroom handicap bar was dangerously loose, and the breakfast was somewhat sad Wouldn’t recommend but not the worst hotel stay of my life

Hotel needs a DEEP CLEAN!!! Like serious DEEP CLEAN!!! The staff was very kind but couldn’t resolve the TV remote issue After working on it for over an hour and 4 remotes later it still did not work Drove 5 hours and just wanted to relax when we arrived before heading out for the evening

The several asks to provide what I paid for in our room was never received I paid extra for the amenities that were not in the room when we arrived and never showed up Extremely frustrating! As well as the hot tub is NOT hot! Its like a small pool with jets What is the point?! This could be a wonderful place but the Hilton brand name did not hold up to the standards we expected upon arrival

This Hotel really impressed us with how clean and well maintained is was The staff delivered superb service and made us fell welcome and at home The room was quiet, clean and well stocked

Beds were comfortable and the linens fresh The complimentary hot breakfast was good and the woman looking after the restaurant area made sure everything was perfect

*Not* travel healthcare worker approved Do not put your employees up hereThis place looks like it was once nice, but not any more

Checked into my room and checked the bedding like I do in every hotel I stay at and there were many hairs in the sheets, and random dried (not been washed) stains on the sheets and comforters The room smelled like gym shoes, and the couch had a large dark stain on the cushion Only reason I leave two stars is because the woman at the front desk who booked me a new room was very nice and helpful Continuing, the hallway carpets are atrocious I’ve seen cleaner motel carpets Heck I’ve even seen cleaner frat house carpets Checked into my new room and the bedding was clean but the bed skirt looked like a 5 year old tried to put it on, the couch was also stained, the kitchen sink smelled so bad I had to put the plug in it, and went to get a water glass out of the cabinet only to find that there was lipstick on both the glasses I selected I would have ran a load of dishes, but the dishwater was already full upon arrival There was also something that looked like blood on the door stop and toilet seat in the bathroom Didn’t even dare open the refrigerator out of dread of what I would find

This hotel was good Went through check in no issues (I usually book with Priceline) Rooms were nice and beds were comfortable

As of right now they do serve breakfast which is a big plus in my book (Not those to go bags which are always awful) Also every morning house keeping will knock so make sure if you don’t want to be waken up early to put the “Do Not Disturb” sign

Jennifer Heitz

I have never experienced such bad customer service in my life I wasn’t in the room 1 full minute and they won’t refund my money Instead they call the police because they don’t do refunds once checked in even if it’s their mistake!!! Don’t stay here worst hotel I’ve ever been to

After complaining to corporate and trying to get my money back they said someone will be in touch with me in a week Pathetic Money hungry is it with these idiots

Lamar Bogany

Disgusting hotel I was given a room I didn’t book I requested 2 queen beds instead I received a king bed with a sleeper

I then went down to the front and they told me it was because I booked through a 3rd party which I didn’t I booked through their site She then proceeds to hand me a card and told me to send an email It was late and I have small children The following morning we discover what appears to be bed bugs in the bed The GM then told me I couldn’t get a refund because I stayed in the room I have filed a complaint with the Texas Health Department and disputed the charge with my bank I even sent photos of the bugs Please don’t stay here

Angela at the front desk was totally awesome leading up to & during our 2 night stay She was so pleasant, super helpful & professional, went above & beyond to make our stay there with my 95 year old mom as pleasant & stress-free as possible for my mom as well as us while we were there for our son’s wedding! In my travels, I’ve never experienced any staff at hotels as genuinely caring or providing such great customer care! Hope the management recognizes the jewel they have in this lady & gives her kudos AND a raise! The other front desk staff with her on 4/22 was also helpful when my son’s dog needed help

Other staff were friendlyHotel was clean & beds comfortable Place was well-run I highly recommend, Especially as long as Angela is there!!! 😊

Stayed here for a wedding Our room didn’t have wash clothes and we had them bring some up to us The room also didn’t have regular coffee just decaf

Then we found that the coffee pot was broken and full of water They wanted us to come pickup the items but we refused and they brought them to us Staff was nice Housekeeping needs to do a better job at least in the room we had

The service was outstanding! The rooms were clean and comfortable!! The facility was nicely maintainedAlso, I can’t thank them enough for their dedication and honesty to those of us who stay with them The young lady who services the rooms went over and beyond when I left my IPad in the room

We had checked out early in the morning and had a 7 hour drive ahead of us We had already traveled a few hours when we received a call from the hotel that I had left my iPad and holder in the room! Neither one of us had even known it was missing and probably would not have until we got home Thankfully we had family in the area that was able to pick it up for us I will never forget their honesty and integrity in dealing with my left items To the lady who services those rooms; thank you from the bottom of my heart!! Never take a great hotel for granted!!

Birdie

I looked at several hotels in the area and wanted one with a pool (my son was dying to go swimming) Several available hotels had pools, but what swayed me to book here were all of the reviews mentioning the cleanliness of this hotelWhen we arrived for our stay, the pool was down – completely drained and being worked on

This wasn’t mentioned on the site or I wouldn’t have booked here My son was super bummed out, but I figured at least the room will be clean which was my personal #1 concern Except it wasn’t There was change on the bathroom floor, so obviously that was never cleaned, as well as trash on the bedside table Desk was covered in stains, coffee makes was unplugged and I had to pull out the fridge to reach the plug and get it hooked back up, only to find the coffee maker was stickyPillows were lumpy and incredibly uncomfortable I’m sad that my experience was the opposite of so many reviews I usually do airbnb’s but as this was only a 1 night stay, I figured a hotel would do just fine Lesson learned

Absolutely dumbfounded this hotel will not follow ADA federal laws We’re told we could NOT stay because of my 2 registered service dogs upon checking yesterday I explained the laws and they gave us our prepaid room

Upon trying to extend through tonight I was told you must leave because of your Ada service dogs Corporate even called to inform them this is a federal law and these dogs cannot be turned away Glad we got the front desk lady on camera saying it Formal complaint started Breakfast was good Room was good Service DISGUSTINGlast time a best western refused service dogs I found an article on yahoo about how they were required to remove all best western logos and we’re no longer affiliated with best western until all employees went through training on how to treat people with disabilities and comply with ADA laws It took 6 months Happy training tyler Texas best western!!

Having never been to Tyler, TX, I picked this place based on previous reviews

too bad they were inaccurate! First room I spent about 5 mins in The bed was so worn I could feel every spring in the mattress and the AC had a very high pitch squeal So I got another room wish I hadn’tthe AC was stuck at 66, during a heat wave(previous room could set to 62!) The mattress was a tad it better but the room was gross Several flies and garbage on the floor Plus the bathroom was clearly not cleaned The room was nonrefundable of course but had it not been so late I probably would of just checked out Also it was a non smoking room but smelt like mildew and smoke Do yourself a favor and do NOT stay here

Ashley Tucker

*Hotel was under construction*Had a great breakfast, beds slept good, staff was friendly and helpful Room had a odd smell we noticed when returning everytime Smelled almost like Copenhagen chewing tobacco

Odd, but only smelled it for a couple of minutes each time Water pressure in shower could have been better and they use one of those holders in the shower that has the shampoo/conditioner/body wash in it, body wash was empty and didn’t get filled while we were staying, glad I brought my own Free Wifi is a plus

We have come to this location the last three years booking back-in and platinum sites during summer and Halloween We have had great experiences with meeting other families where our kids then get to play with each other at each stay The staff has always been very helpful and kind

You feel safe here and it allows that much more fun for children and their parents The shop has the necessities, the food is good, the water park is fun, our boys love the activities, fireworks were awesome, the haunted house is scary Thanks for the memories and many more good ones to come!

Lisa Corley

We’ve gone to JellyStone Park at Whispering Pines twice this summer and the staff is always so accommodating and friendly There are so many fun things to do, they really do a great job keeping families entertained Even with the younger kids they’re never left out

Tons of fun for everyone Can’t wait until our next trip ☺️ we feel safe here which makes it so much more relaxing and our 3 kids always make new friends! The neighbors are always friendly, the park is always clean, & the cafe by the pool has amazing food! Also the restrooms are nice and have AC The staff are so helpful and kind just really genuine people and you don’t find people like that everywhere you go ❤️

OSCAR GONZALEZ

Everyone is so wonderful! From the moment we arrived the ladies in the store/office were fantastic! The food in the cafe was great, the life guards at the water park were on top of it! And just so friendly to the kids and adults a sense of humor was prevalent now the activity people Clay, Shelby and young lady at then check in table for laser tag were fantastic!! Kids had fun and they had fun, Shelby even helped a team that was short out… in 103 weather they have gone above! The crew that drives around gave us some good fishing tips!!! Smiles everywhere and a how are you!!!My only request would be more shade on both pools, umbrellas would be so helpful, lots of grandparents bringing there grands and the intense heat and sun is hard on us! family pool could be bigger, most of the time at the adult pool no one was there

Kind of a waste, Two of the family pools and water park should spread everyone out moreThank you for a great stay!
