Hotel was very nice, room was clean and organized The bed was nice and comfortable The heated pool and jacuzzi is a plus

My only complaint was the breakfast…I know is a free breakfast, but the bagel was stale, so did the muffins etc, I mean, come on…it tasted like it was days old My kids couldn’t eat barely anything that was served Other than that, I was pleased with my stay

Sherrie Johnson

I like to sleep in, but I couldn’t get out of this hotel fast enough

I just had an uneasy feeling all night! This was an overnight stop for us on the way through the Cincinnati area, we booked our room on the way and arrived after dinnerThe area it’s in looks like it’s in the middle of a revitalization, you have newer outdoor shopping and restaurants across the street but the boarded up Cincinnati Mall right behind itThe hotel itself felt like it wasn’t originally a Hilton/Hampton Inn, if gave more of a Hotel 6 vibe We checked in with Vinny who was nice, got us our waters and asked if we had any questions Our room online seemed like it was showing it as a smoking room so we ensured the entire property was non-smoking He assured us it was, we are fairly certain it wasn’t alwaysWe arrived to the room (Rm: 101) and got smacked in the face by a musty, moldy, smokey odor Despite the AC being set at 60, it was damp in the room, my wife even commented that the carpets felt wet We figured we would try to bear it for the nightThe room we booked was selected because it offered the jacuzzi tub, we figured it would be good after all the driving Unfortunately, the tub had no power so no luck there I returned to the front desk and asked if there was a trick to it Vinny said “no” and immediately offered to change our room, I toldhim that wouldn’t work since she was already in the tub and he instead dropped our rate, which we appreciatedThe bed and linens seemed clean, but the room overall needed a remodel There was artwork pulled off the wall, the AC was separated from its mounting, the microwave was slanted and there was some mold spots in the bathroom In general there was a lot of scrapes and dings on the furniture and walls and some rust around the tub and jacuzzi We packed up as quickly as we could but my wife had to leave with her hair wet because the hair dryer was broken tooThe front desk clerk asked how our stay was and seemed genuinely confused when we said it wasn’t good Not sure how, online reviews echo a lot of what we experienced and if we had read them and not just trusted the Hilton/Hampton Inn brand, we probably would have stayed elsewhereIt only got 2 stars because Vinny was nice and tried to help and because I have actually seen worse than this

Check-in was fast and simple, the desk staff was friendly Our room was clean and well stocked There were hot and cold breakfast selections, as well as breakfast that you could grab and go

The buffet staff kept everything well stocked despite the hotel being fully booked Hot coffee and tea 24/7 too The pool was clean and well kept And there was a nice little outdoor seating area with a fire pit

Jody Stamper

We were exhausted after traveling and were ready to relax Our room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable The breakfast bar was well stocked and overall it was nice

The pool was great for our kids One major thing I didn’t like at all was the room we were in was beside the stairs Every time someone used the stairs you could hear the slamming of the door Normally this would never bother me but at 1,2,4, and 5am hearing this really gets old fast I asked the lady staying in the room across the hall and she told me hearing that caused her to not sleep hardly any that night So if you stay there, ask to make sure your room is not close to the fire escape stairs Otherwise, everything else was great

Emanuel Holhos-Vaida

Overall experience was good Clean room Clean hotel

The card use at the elevator makes a great security featureThe sliding bathroom door is not a great choice It does not isolate sound or odors Coming into the room you can see in the bathroom trough the crack and with the help of the mirror you can see in the shower The bathroom fan doesn’t workEven though it might sound funny but the coffee you provide is very good

After finishing my MD (Mothering Duties) for the day on this Mother’s Day 2022, I decided to go off duty for a bit & visit First Farm Inn in Petersburg KY- I googled and saw they offered trail rides I had never been there before and was pretty sure they wouldn’t be able to accommodate on such short notice BUT THEY DID, and it was INCREDIBLE (& healing & fun & adventurous & just what I needed)

Jen, the owner, is the original horse-whisperer You can tell that she loves each and every one of her equines After getting a much-needed refresher course, we roamed the property, where I was the lucky one to partner with Buster, a 16+h beautiful barrel chested mount He was gentle with my inexperienced style but worldly enough to show this old girl a good time Jen and her Staff made sure I was able to do just what I had hoped to do and more If I could give My experience more than five ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I would do it!Next we’re going to try the Bed & Breakfast (along with a trail ride) If the warmth and courtesies displayed today play out when we stay at the Inn, I already know it’s going to be great!! Thanks, Jen, for sharing Buster today – It’s been a Mother’s Day that I won’t soon forget!

Awesome time at First Farm Inn! We go skiing once a year and everyone in the family insists on staying here when we go Comfortable, friendly, and fun, I have zero complaints about time spent on the farm From feeding and riding horses to custom homemade breakfast every morning, they do it all

Next time you’re in the area give First Farm a try; you won’t regret it

This place was beautiful and clean The staff was super friendly I, mistakenly, left some items in the room when checking out

The staff was kind enough to call and even SHIP my belongings to me I received them the next day I was beyond impressed by the integrity of the staff and by the “above and beyond” service my family received I look forward to returning to the Hilton Garden Inn Cincinnati

The “Parking Recapture Fee” is cute Totally dishonest but cute The Hilton website and App both say parking is free but when you check out your bill includes a “parking recapture fee”

I don’t care if you charge me more just be honest and straight forward about it It is clear that who ever owns or manages this location is ethically challenged I won’t be back purely out of principle Other that the place is older but cleanUpdateResponding to the Owner’s message below:What are you going to investigate?Do you charge a “parking recapture fee”? YESDo you disclose this fee to guest prior to making a reservation? NODo you claim that parking is free on the Hilton website and app? YESThat everything you need to know hereIf you want to do something, stop charging the fee and send refunds to everyone you have improperly chargedInvestigation completedYou’re welcome

We love to stay here on Halloween We have dinner, get dressed up and then go out on the town The hotel is a beautiful, historic gem and the charm is amplified during the holidays

You won’t sacrifice amenities as part of your experience The A/C is cold, the showers have spray options and the room televisions are ‘peekaboo style,’ hidden behind paintings when not in use I booked my mother in a room here a few months ago and she actually took video of that feature to send to the grandkids since she knew it would impress them If you’re interested in fantastic food, check out my review on their in-house restaurant, the National Exemplar

A great stay! The front desk staff was so kind and helpful Comfortable beds, two elevators that work quickly, the gym fitness center area was newer and relatively updated which is always nice We didn’t have a car, but as others mentioned, we heard another guest talking about the complexities of parking so you may want to check that out beforehand if that’s a make or break for you

The rooms felt clean and we did do the “tidy service” where they make the beds, etc, while you’re out since they aren’t currently offering the standard daily cleaning So be sure to request that before 9am or the day before if you’re wanting it next day We’ve stayed in other hotels and they have the same policy right nowGreat customer service, and a comfortable stay with tons of options within walking distance from a small Target to several restaurants/casual eateries It’s not going to be the glitz and glam of a luxury stay, however a good value and would recommend to others

Kris Shannon

Rooms were clean although a bit too modern for my taste, therefore they seem a little cold Good staff was nice but not terribly thorough at times Breakfast was pretty good, and the pool was nice

Parking was confusingThe biggest issue is that this location must be popular with motorcyclists We heard lots of revving and racing late into the night which made it hard to sleep

Sandy Rhodes

We’ve stayed at this hotel every year, sometimes twice a year for my son’s Cincinnati children’s appointments since 2015 This year we were let down Checking in took forever

1 woman checking everyone in while 2-3 others sat in a room behind check in doing nothing Day 2 of 4 we were charged well over the hospital rate and told now there’s a $20/day incidental charge The parking garage was finicky and charged$20 instead of $12 our last day The bathroom didn’t have a fan, and the breakfast was the same eggs and sausage every day We love the location, but this trip made it harder to be away from home

Did you ever contact Taylor about the hotel was in this repair The elevator did not work properly It was very warm in the hotel as well

When we got into our room it was about 90° I went down to the front desk and they said they turned the air off in housekeeping when they clean the rooms and the guest turn it on when they arrive It was a sweet with only a unit in the bedroom There was a fan up in the ceiling to carry the cool air out to the living area but it did not work efficiently and it never did cool down The police were called in a hotel when my husband was down getting towels at the front desk Common areas were not clean The room was not that clean either There were only 2 towels in a room for four people Almost half of the light bulbs in the room were burned out or missing It appeared that they were trying to save money at every turn and definitely at the guest expense Pot could be spelled throughout the hotel I honestly do not know how it has this star rating or the customer satisfaction rating that it has We were highly disappointed!

Seema Khan

We just needed a place to crash for a few hours of sleep on our road trip Price is good, staff was super friendly and went above and beyond to make us comfortable when we showed up at 4am with kids in tow The beds were comfortable and was exactly what we needed before getting back on the road but the place itself really needs some updating

Carpets were really sticky and there was lots of gross hair coming up out of the clogged drain in the tub so we weren’t able to shower Also the door handle just came right off when we were trying to leave

Arun Kumar Samuel

Bath tub and wash basin do not drain quickly water quicklyRooms are not clean, but bed is fineBreakfast not supplied as per booking

First off, we booked here mostly due to the pictures of an amazing pool that my daughter was excited about only to arrive and find out it was not open This was not listed anywhere on their website When we arrived to the room it was 80°, we turned the temp down, went to dinner and hours later it was still 78°

We had someone come “fix” it An hour later it was still the same temperature We called down and got a new room The same thing proceeded with this room We moved rooms for a 3rd time (in the middle of the night, having to wake our one year old up each time to transfer our belongings) only to end up in yet another hot room that would not cool off By this point we were all beyond exhausted and just over it We all woke up drenched in sweat early the next morning The stay was so awful we cut our trip early and canceled our next night and decided to go home I have traveled a lot and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had If you don’t mind expecting to hang out in an empty pool and sleeping in a sauna, this is the place for you Otherwise, rethink your decision to stay here

Great hotel, nice rooms Our check in/out was so easy Great place for a conference, lots of space, rooms, hallways and ballrooms

They have a really nice indoor pool so bring your swim suit!I took a star because it was incredibly hot in the hallways and they have low ceilings in the hall The low ceilings in the hallway made me feel claustrophobicWe ate and got drinks in the restaurant $35 for 2 Malibu breezes, bbq sliders and onion rings The food was really good after a long day of travel

Phillip Adcock

The staff were exceptional Both front desk and restaurant Rooms were very clean and modern

No issues on that end The pool and hot tub the biggest reasons we chose to stay at this hotel over the hotel our group stayed in was a major let down The indoor pool was ice cold It literally felt like someone had dumped buckets upon buckets upon buckets of ice into the pool, it was seriously that cold The hot tub was a nice toasty 104 degrees However there was no jet action, turning the nob to activate jet timer didn’t work no matter how many times you tried The only circulation of water was the outlet and inlet that just circulate the water enough to keep it warm The sauna which was a feature I was personally super excited to use was non functional Note not noting this anywhere, the door nob was simply removed and the door was screwed to it’s frame The interior of the hot tub itself had some very sharp concrete edges from the concrete chipping away over time So I’d very much say that side of the pool area was in need of renovationThe most disappointing part was that check-in staff didn’t advise of the lack of sauna amenity or that the hot tub didn’t have operational jets even though it was still open for use

Dewayne Smith

I stayed one night before an early flight and paid to leave my vehicle parked in the extended stay parking until my return flight one week later The shuttle picked me up at the airport upon my return and drove me to my car When I started the vehicle to leave, it was loud and roaring

I drove to the nearest Service center and they informed me the catalytic converter had been cut off of it They said the vehicle would have had to have been jacked up in order for someone to access it the way they did and make such a clean cut When I contacted the hotel, the lady told me there had been a lot of that happening at their lot, but they thought the police had caught who it was because they hadn’t had another case reported in about a month She said they did have a security guard that patrolled the parking lot, but they had no cameras Obviously the security is lacking if someone is able to jack a vehicle up in the middle of the parking lot and do this She told me the main manager to contact was not in until the next week I left a voicemail and he returned my call the next week Basically said sorry nothing we can do Did not offer to even refund the parking fee paid for “secure parking” I had to file a police report, and the officer told me that they have had numerous cases reported of this happening at this hotel I wonder why they won’t put cameras in with this happening multiple times? I’ve had to file a claim with my insurance for repair costs, not to mention the 2-4 week wait quoted for the parts due to shortages I will NEVER stay here again and don’t recommend it to anyone! Be aware!

Everything technically worked but the bathroom was stained from the shower to the toilet There was also some kind of stain or paint all over the curtains and stains on the tablesHowever regardless of the rest of the rooms and the potential for cleaner or better kept rooms the number one reason you should avoid at least half of this hotel is This hotel practically sits on the highway You hear every braking trucker, every motorcycle or loud car exhaustStaff was very friendly and were available but there was an overly casual atmosphere with how they handled themselves Any time you ordered from the Bistro the dude was in the lobby on a laptop or lounging chit chatting to other guestsI would recommend you avoid this location if you care to have a restful uninterrupted night of rest Definitely getting added to the corporate do not travel listing

My husband and I stayed here while in the area for a softball tournament this past weekend and we were overall pleased! The room was clean (aside from the shower floor) and included a microwave and fridge which was super helpful The front desk had a bag of extra towels handy for anyone who needed them which was great The location is nice and quiet and conveniently located near the Florence Mall and restaurants

Breakfast was not included but we didn’t really have time to sit and eat anyway, but just be aware of that when booking We would definitely stay here again!

I did not heed the warnings from previous reviews because it’s a Marriott, it can’t be that bad! Spoiler alert…it is Some sort of weird black/moldy spots all over the blinds, lights out in the hallways, showers/bathrooms that aren’t well cleaned, linens that look very “well used”, and can’t even get fresh towels brought to the room? What’s the point of offering “service requests” on the app when after 2 hours you call the front ask ask about it and they say “you have to come get them” The walls are paper thin, so you hear almost everything happening beside you, upstairs, and in the hall ways

We didn’t have any issues with the sound of traffic because the room fan is loud enough to cover it up Bathrooms were just gross, and there was hair on the wall and the toilet seat when we arrived Everything seemed dingy and neglected, far from Marriott standards This is not a location I’ll stay at again Red Roof Inn offers the same quality for half the price

Very friendly check in Staff were very helpful Rooms were clean

No lobby coffee in the evening when we checked in, but I was able to make some in my room Not the fanciest of hotels out there, but the location is hard to beat Such an easy drive to the zoo Decent pool for families, not huge but definitely kid friendly Free breakfast included The breakfast had a great variety of items, everything from hot food to yogurt cups and fresh fruit

Spent one night here- place and room felt clean, staff was nice, has a warmish inside inground pool (however is kind of on the small side), shower was hot and plenty of water volume/pressure Fully functional microwave and fridge in my room Did not feel dated

Breakfast was hot and had an adequate selection That being said; bed was one of the hardest I’d ever slept on, the provided ear plugs were necessary to sleep to drown out the neighbors due to the lack of sound proofing in the walls and floors, there was an additional $9 parking fee to keep a car on site (unheard of!) The windows don’t offer much view It’s just as well I suppose since the entire area is kinda sketch; I fully expected my car to either be broken into in the morning or be completely missingStayed at this location due to the proximity to the zoo Not bad, but not great either 3 stars

Overall a good stay The employees were exceptionally kind, and informative The hotel and rooms were clean, and inviting

The location for proximity to touristy things was great If you’re a light sleeper or unable to handle exterior noises this isn’t the place for you, with the hospitals so close you get to hear all the ambulances While not a 5 star dream stay you can definitely feel the Hilton touch while here

After making a last minute decision to visit Cincinnati I booked my stay here for one night to visit with friends and family Christal was working the front desk and she was extremely professional, personable, and very helpful Christal assisted me with every request and I had many

Each trip to the front desk she was immediately available and helpful This type of customer service is very unusual, but desperately needed Christal is definitely a key member of the team If not, she can definitely lead a training in Customer Service! Customer service along with clean rooms will make any guest return From I first interaction with Christal I was pleased and impressed!

I absolutely love these rooms it felt like I was staying at a high end apartment love the bed The rooms have a Art Deco style to it you will love the room you will love the lay out do I love the cabinets the material they use the hotel itself even the lobby area is beautiful is very high end

This hotel looks better than some high end ones i have paid way more money for and had bad service So if you are in this area and you need a room definitely definitely definitely choose this place

We booked a room for a wedding we were attending, the first room was nasty it had some sort of bio fluid on the side of the bed and the room smell of feet, the 2nd room we were assigned was dirty after complaining about the 2nd room we had to clean it thank goodness we carry wipes and Lysol This hotel doesn’t have a daily cleaning or refreshing the rooms unless you have been there 3 to 4 days The only good point was the breakfast on Saturday; the attendant kept everything fresh and clean he was friendly and attentive, Sunday was a different story and I was glad to have left

If you are looking for a short stay this is not the place to be

On first glance, the room was updated and very nice! After awhile I noticed a lot was rushed by the construction crew, though Just little things, (baseboards not attached, outlet covers only held on by the actual plug, the shower sprayed into the ceiling, etc) nothing that really impacted my stay, especially for the price

The bed was so comfy Everything was super clean The staff were so sweet and helpful The sounds of the nearby highway were fairly muffled The location is decent I felt comfortable leaving without a weapon and it’s close to everything I’d absolutely stay here again

I enjoyed my 3 night stay here Wanted a suite with separate bedroom and found one here for a good price Nothing fancy and a bit dated but was comfortable

Location is between downtown Cincinnati and Kings Island, right off the highwayRoom was fine and in good condition Nice free breakfast and 24/7 coffee Friendly staffMy cons1) They need to clean better – towels had some spots on them and found some garbage in the kitchen upon checking in2) Kitchen is totally bare – not even some basic plates, cups, water, or wine glasses

We stayed at this hotel 6 years ago when visiting the area Great location to shopping and restaurants, good breakfast and spacious room, however our return visit left us dissatisfied The hotel is undergoing renovation, which is understandable, but old mattresses stacked up at the front door awaiting discard upon our arrival was a tacky reception and eyesore

I’m not sure if our double queen room was a remodeled room or in-progress It was much smaller than expected as if the room is meant for 1 king bed The space was so tight I could touch the kitchenette counter while lying in the bed The shower fixtures were new, but there was just a tension curtain rod and the high-pressure shower head (which felt great) flooded the floor b/c of low curb Other decorating seemed incomplete (no phone, no dishes) Front desk wasn’t consistently staffed (had to wait for someone to come) All that was at least tolerable What wasn’t okay is that the main front doors were propped open all night When we came in at midnight there was no one at the desk Anyone could walk right in and get on the elevator Because of poor security, our family won’t be back and I can no longer recommend
