Perfect getaway! We loved our stay in Diana’s condo The unit was super clean and comfortable The beds made you feel like we were at home! The views off the balcony were beautiful and relaxing

The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and the large cooler was perfect for carrying our stuff down to the BBQ grills I loved the kitchen appliances too The condo has a bunch of beach toys and beach chairs and beach towels! The games and videos in the cabinet by the tv were a nice touch too, for when we wanted some down time in the condo Parking was a breeze and quick and easy to get to I would love to rent this condo out again and again whenever we have time off Diana was always quick to reply to any of my questions I had throughout the booking process She even suggested snorkeling spots, grocery stores and was always so helpful

Landree Tullis

Diana’s condo is beautiful!! She met us at the front desk and made sure we we were all checked in She showed us where everything was and she is so friendly and helpful! The condo is beautifully decorated and has EVERYTHING you need and was super clean! The deck and the view of the lagoon and the sunsets are unbelievable! The complex is fabulous and the lagoons are amazing Ko Olina is a great place to stay! I hope we get to come back, and when we do, we will definitely make our reservation with Diana!

Beautiful Location! We spent 7 nights at the condo traveling from Japan on first vacation rental adventure and were very happy with our stay! The condo is amazing – plenty of space of family of 4 There is a Target & groceries less than a 10 minute drive The lagoon is great for swimming and snorkeling especially kids & never busy

We went to Disney Aulani next door and enjoyed without having to pay high prices We really appreciated all of the beach accessories Diana provided to the condo, including snorkels coolers and beach bags My husband & I enjoyed a few evenings down at the bar and live music one night

Third time to Hawaii and although this was the cheapest hotel of the three trips this was my favorite hotel of all The room I was was large, very clean and towels were great thick large towels Staff was friendly and helpful, laundry room in hotel and even had a small pool for the kids to enjoy

This will definitely be my choice when I come to Honolulu Hotel has a great location and although it’s a older hotel this place is a gem with its kitchenettes Thank you staff for being so accommodating to me and my large family Truly enjoy this experience as I sit on your balcony writing this

The staff is always friendly and helpful With the new renovations the rooms receive a 5 star Love having a kitchen

I have stayed here for many years and the location and staff help make this hotel an excellent choice Not on the beach but easy walking to it Quieter than some other hotels on the main streets Lovely balcony and large rooms

Sarah Cheang

I’m giving this hotel 5 stars for the wonderful staff and really relaxing atmosphere Some of the rooms have been renovated and some are a bit shabby but the hotel itself was delightful and super friendly I especially loved the pink balconies

Our room has lots of Hawaiian style bamboo furniture but maybe this will go with the renovations The website warns of construction work but we only heard it once for about 20 minutes The rest of the time the hotel was very peaceful Location is perfect for beach, shops, restaurants, buses If you like longer walking you can stroll all the way to the Diamond Head beaches or walk the other way along the canal towards Honolulu convention Center The canal is said to be very polluted but I saw so many fish in there, including giant puffer fish, and they were friendly too!

The staff was excellent! Very friendly and helpful The rooms were okay, bed was comfortable In-room coffee was awful

Would be nice if they changed out the coffee makers with ones that used k-pods Hotel was close to the beach and other amenities The convenience store in the lobby lived up to its name Kai Coffee Hawaii was an excellent way to start the day

Larry K.

Stayed here for two weeks and loved every second of it Was pretty high up with a great view from the balcony Room is spacious

Cleaning service was great As I went hiking most days I was happy to use their convenient parking and water fill up station Breakfast was okay for being included in the price but nothing special Staff was always helpful And the best thing was the location in the heart of Waikiki – you can walk to all the restaurants, stores and of course the amazing Waikiki beach

Chen Huang

The location is prime, it’s proximity to Waikiki bay and array of stores/restaurantsThe building and rooms are super old I personally would pay more for updated hotel

It did have a vintage feel to it with the odor attached With the resort fees and parking fees The total would be similar Again, everybody have their own cup of tea

The rooms are so so They don’t do room cleaning unless you pay for it, however you can exchange towels and such at the front desk The staff is great and very helpful

The location is at the far end of Waikiki, really good for families (proximity to zoo/beach/aquarium) If you’re looking for night life, most of it will be a half mile walk, doable but there are better places to stay for that The assigned parking is nice if want to pay for it

German R (Elegate)

To Roxy thank you very much for your hospitality and for going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable one The location is great I liked it The prices are pretty competitive and parking is not too bad

Word of advice if you have a rental please call the hotel in advance so they can reserve a spot for you On the second floor they have a bar, Hula’s Bar & Lei Stand, which does gives a nice view of the Diamond Head The next time I go to Honolulu the Waikiki Grand Hotel is most definitely the first spot I’ll check out

Ying Li

My conclusion on this place: 1) You got what you paid for 2) I would not recommend this place 3) Location was the only good thing

Reasoning: 1) the whole shower set broke, cant shower at all Front desk personnel was not willing to change room (allow me to go to another room to shower) until the Wi-Fi was not working in that room 2) front desk personnel seems busy all the time, no patient with attitude Made a big deal of getting a blanket and bringing back a blanket

We had quite a terrible time at the holiday inn expressIn our first room, the ceiling was flooding and leaking (see photos) When we told the front desk they had a maintenance person inspect it and tell us we had to move rooms

We got downgraded in our rooms and the front desk refused to give us any compensation for the downgrade or the fact that the ceiling was leaking It was very unfortunateAt the very least they should offer a night or two off or a discountThen, the front desk double charged us twice for our resort fees We paid these upfront through the booking agent, but then they tried charging us again when we arrivedThe morning breakfast is also very low quality and not worth it It’s convenient but not good We ended up going out for breakfast most daysThe housekeepers were great though They always worked very hard to keep the hotel cleaned and they were much appreciated

Jeff Blankenship

Two queens with ocean view is not disappointing us Centrally located and within walking distance of good food and beautiful beaches You get breakfast every morning helping save money on meals

No restaurant or bar on premiseSmall pool but a nice size jacuzzi Putting section and ping pong Great place to relax after a long day of soaking up the sun and surfStaff have been extremely friendly and helpfulWe will certainly come back

We are enjoying our room with partial ocean view They do not clean your room unless requested 24-hour prior notice and you pick the time they can clean When you need more towels, shampoo, conditioner, or coffee you just go ask the front desk and they give you more

Beach towels are included upon request, just make sure you let them know when you are returning them because they are checked out with your room number, There is a basket you drop them in when entering the lobby They a very big nice towels Very happy with are comfortable soft bed The stove top is a plug in the wall kind it’s not like the picture on the counter top Overall we are happy and thankful we choose this hotel

Shawn Corkum

Overall we had a good experience here I think the company had this listed as a 4 star, which it certainly is not 3

5 at best That being said, the room was clean and very spacious We had a one bedroom with a kitchenette AC was in the living room, and it was a bit challenging to keep the bedroom as cool as we would have liked but there was a ceiling fan Not a huge deal It was very nice to have a kitchenette The hotel needs some Renos, the hallways are very worn But, we paid far less for our stay here than other hotels, so overall were satisfied The service was excellent, especially the lady at the front desk (sadly I cannot remember her name) Nice to be able to use the towels as well If you can get past the wear and tear, it’s a good hotel in a great location (really short walk to the beach)

Roger Hollingshead

The hotel location is everything! 2 blocks to the beach and the best poke place in waikiki right across the street! You don’t need a car here unless you are going to explore the whole island We had a car and the parking was a good price for the areaThe pool has an amazing view and was empty most the time

The rooms are decorated a bit old style but clean

This review is for Katey I feel very fortunate that she picked up the phone when I called them, since they are technically closed and only sell in the farmer’s market on Saturdays She invited me over to the farm and helped me pick out so much amazing produce

She was kind and patient and walked me through all of their stock in all their fridges and offered useful tips and suggestions about fruits/veges I was unfamiliar with I can’t thank her enough cuz everything she suggested tastes amazing and fresh The farm itself is beautiful and everyone I met there were wonderful!

Very friendly staff I really enjoyed the variety of creative dishes The veteran options were great

I loved that we could bring our dog while we are in the outdoors We went at night so we got to appreciate the beautiful outdoor seating Surprisingly, there were no bugs bothering us and the string lights were perfect: strong enough so you can see clearly, but soft enough for enjoyable mood lighting They play music inside pretty loud so that it can be heard from outside I look forward to going back! It’s a bit away from the main road and if you drive out at night, the drive may feel a little sketchy Once you get there, it’s definitely worth it

nikkimnm d

An absolutely wonderful experience all the way around Staying in this incredibly peaceful place was ideal for us It’s a very simple, humble, no frills as far as the nightly stay but they offer a fantastic experience of starry skies, working farm housing interactive, welcoming, and muddied barefooted farmers with smiles and conversations

Chickens clucking their way around the pen with offerings of early morning wake up calls Open land of overgrown grasses and patches of gardens growing veggies outskirts the mountainous view For those willing to forgo any extra comforts and take on a more relaxed (and while not, it may be for some, rugged) experience, this is a must! It’s a shared space, as it is a retreat house and expect to leave your shoes at the door as is Hawaii custom The cafe doesn’t disappoint either The chefs spread is abundant and beautiful sharing the farms own organic produce It was the best food we tasted in the island and looked forward to the next meal

Great IHG that will soon be fully renovated Very well kept for an older hotel The location gives you amazing views of the island

If you are going to work at the hospital this hotel is a must during in processingThe staff is very helpful and accommodating This hotel is a great location to stay if you want a central location on the island It will allow you to access all the major areas of the island Large pet friendly and lots of space for the fur babies to play

G&C ALVARADO

Andrea HSK Supervisor, Aloha front desk lady and Judy all deserve a raise their hospitality and customer service was exceptional they will make sure your stay at this hotel is the best and most comfortable stay possible, very clean and this hotel even provides a continental breakfast We highly recommend this hotel during your stay in Hawaii

Cat Higgins

First off check in is at 4 pm, they didn’t check us in until 4:30 PM, due to late check outs The hallways smell musty, and moldy and the rooms are below average To put in perspective of the location you are away from all of the action, to get anywhere you have to drive about 20-30 mins on average

If you are on the search for a “Hawaiian” luxury experience and vacation, seeing palm trees and being near the crystal blue waters and white sand do not stay here even though its cheap it does not justify My recommendation and what I should of done was stay down in Waikiki, but live and learn this is my first time visiting Hawaii The hotel amenities are nothing great The TV does not work, the breakfast is a joke and it has stale coffee The staff is nice but incompetent Also there is no elevator and the hotel is two stories, so if you family member that is handicap or cant do stairs this is not the hotel for you
