Loved everything about my stay from breakfast to the staff Breakfast was hot and good every morning The staff was always courteous, friendly and very helpful

Regardless if we were coming or going a member of the staff would acknowledge you with a simple good morning, enjoy your day, welcome back, or a good night That small gesture would either start my day off nice or be the nice ending to a not so nice day Either way it was appreciated

Rhonda Zajac

We had a great stay! My husband and I stayed for a week for work and the staff was absolutely incredible The rooms were big but a little outdated, not that that hindered our stay at all Diana and Precious at the front desk were always so amazing! They helped with anything and everything and always had a contagious smile! With the odd work hours only got to have the breakfast once but the Texas shaped waffles were so cute!! Over all we would definitely choose to stay here in the future as well as recommend it to others!!!!

Robin Nolen

We have been a Marriott rewards member for many years and I’ve never been this disappointed Rooms were dirty They apparently ran out of hand soap

Dirty bathrooms Room is cleaned every 3 days Room smelled horrible Do better !!! Breakfast was a joke Out of so many things including sugar and creamer If you’re in the area, stay elsewhere

Brandon green

The property is maintained very well All common areas are free of any debris or trash The room I booked was available immediately upon arrival and was very clean

Parking along the front is almost always full and challenging to find a spot but there are plenty of spaces along the rear of the property Will definitely return during another visit to the DFW market

I’ve always love this hotel but lately it’s not the same, looks a bit old During my last stay they didn’t have soap in the rooms to wash the hands Also they didn’t have variety of fruit for breakfast (I guess it is due to COVID)

Overall staff is super nice but Manager was so serious and even grumpy I didn’t feel like asking anything to him

Renata Hampton

Great service, clean rooms Was NO way of figuring out the TV channels, nothing on-screen or remote No numbers, no guide, no info -nothing

We were in town for the NCAA tournament, so it stunk that there was no way to find the games we wanted to follow when we returned to our rooms, just switching through all the channels until we would come across something interesting, but no way to tell if it was TNT, CBS, TBS, etc

Dorothy Thomas

The kindest receptionist, since we checked in, that I know Takes up time with toddlers to Senior seasonist The front desk attendants from 4:30 AM Saturday, to change shifts, to Sunday shifts, after breakfast: All have been superb

The very ‘sweet’s breakfast lady, deserves a special note She never missed a beat! She knew some from yesterday, spoke to them like they were kin to her I’m disabled, with walker, and she made me feel like I was in my own kitchen I needed “sugar free” syrup, sugar free sweetner,, she never missed another beat, until she found the syrup, helped me with my waffle;while she was taking care of others special needs I could come back here everytime I come to this area in Texas I forgot my toothbrush ‘n stuff, no worry!! Johan(spelling?), didnt hesitate(within 10 min) To bring items to room I’ll tell my friends about Hampton Inn & Suites, Forest Hill,Tx

We rented 2 cabins One homestead and 1 Premium king cabin Our cabin floors and sheets were dirty, we brought extra sheets thank goodness but the cabin needs a good wipe down

Our homestead was very small, smaller then the pictures eluded My husband is 6 ft tall and didn’t clear under the doorways When we first got there the initial cabin they had us in was around a construction zone and had do not enter tape around it, but the staff was so crazy nice and helpful too and changed our location The place is old and overpriced though It’s like a summer camp place and the apps are nice for all the fun things they have, but all the attractions they have are very old and dirty The golf carts were nice to have The petting zoo was nice Some of the things in the cabins didn’t worklike light switches, the back burner on stove, locks on the door, screen doors have holes or were missing Don’t go with grand expectations, it’s camping, but our family had fun It’s good for an overnight but we wouldn’t pay money to do that again

Travis Reid

Overall it was pretty good Only issues were zero music playing at Pirates cove water park and the water park being closed early one day for weather The weather was 10 miles out and actually cleared up nice and sunny within minutes but the life guards were celebrating when it started sprinkling

I overheard then say things like “yes! It’s only 2 hours until close so we should just keep it closed”, “finally, I hope we are shutting down” I mean, I get the safety factor for sure and I also get the young teens being excited to not workMaybe suggest to the staff that it’s not very professional nor considerate to the guests to do that Also, they have a nice DJ booth in Pirates Cove I’d suggest paying something, even a playlist, anythingOther than those, the park was huge compared to some others Pretty maintained and pretty clean (other than the several long term guest’s sites, those were a little clustered) Everyone was nice when talking with them Lots and lots of new additions coming (being built) now which will make this park pretty dang awesome Paintball and the other games were fun!

Brianna Glasenapp

Our family of 5 stayed for a week and had an absolutely wonderful time The staff was super friendly and helpful The cabin was beautiful and spacious

The water park was awesome and there was something for all my kids (ages 3-14) to do The camp grounds were clean and well maintained Staff engaged with the kids during the activities which is a plus All the crafts and extra activities are either included or only cost a small fee which was well worth it The family dance party was so much fun and the dj was fantastic with keeping the crowd pumped up We had so much fun during our stay and will definitely be back!!!!

They treat you like family from the start Terry is the perfect host! Louise is an absolute delight If you want to be treated like a favorite relative then this is the place for you!The accomodations are quite nice

The area is beautiful and within walking distance of some really neat activities and eateriesI cannot say enough about this place! We loved it!

Gordon Fitzgerald

I lived here in 1990 before the hotel was restored The Grahams have transformed it into the best version of itself The place is full of history from as far back as 1894

The current owners are the very best of people and will take excellent care of you If I was visiting town for a sports event or a convention this would be my first choice to stay at

Abbey Storm

Great value! Very home-like atmosphere, yet maintains professionalism as well The innkeepers are sweet couple who live in another building on property Upon check-in, you get physical keys (one to a shared back door and one to your room) and access to mini fridges filled with soda, water, beer, and wine

In the upstairs common area is a Keurig station with coffee, tea, and cocoa The rooms are upscale (lots of hardwood), fully updated, and clean There were robes in the closet and full-sized toiletries, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and face wash in the bathroom The bed was super comfortableHaving plenty of off-street parking was a great amenity in such a busy part of town Easy walking distance to the University of Texas at Arlington, and a short drive to the stadiumsBreakfast is included and was delicious Coffee, juice, fresh fruit, bacon, and homemade breakfast casserole was served family style at a table set for six They will cater to any special dietary needs as requested!10% discount for active duty or retired military (with military ID) if you purchase on their website! We will definitely be back!

Good hotel Pros: Good location in Arlington, right by Putt Putt and the Parks mall Weight room is great and open 24/7, has good machines, dumb bells, and is really clean

Free breakfast including pancakes, biscuits and gravy, sausage and ham The lady who served breakfast was working her tail off and did a great job keeping everything full!Cons: maintenance could be improved Our mini fridge was on its last leg and they had no one there to fix it There also could have been a better chair in the room They also expect you to be out by 11 AM

Absolutely avoid this hotel if at all possible I booked an accessible room two weeks in advance for a family vacation One of companions needed wheelchair accessible room

I stopped in today to just ensure that room was available and that we would have no difficulties around 3 Mrs Gutierrez, the GM on duty, assured me room would be available shortly She supposedly contacted housekeeping I told her we would return at 4:00, the guaranteed check in time The room was still not available and the young man working front desk was unapologetic I wanted assurance from him that I would be able to get checked in within an hour due to heat advisory and our guest’s need to rest His exact verbiage was “I don’t know what you are going to do, maybe by 9pm” Keep in mind the suite is already paid for We were left throwing our hands up, confused and upset over the treatment by one of IHG facilities I filed formal complaint with the company, however Mrs Gutierrez has not gotten into contact with me The young man verbalized that the hotel was understaffed and housekeeping is only performed once every five days upon request Please be aware of problems facing you if you choose to book with this Holiday Inn Express There are a lot of other hotels in area that look great, such as Hilton Garden Inn and a newer La Quinta, Marriott By the time I finished trying to get the employee to assist me, the hotel lobby was filled with angry guests At this point, they had all become rowdy and aggressive It was not a great experience and do not ever want to experience again Hope this helps someone 👍

Very bad and disappointed First they switched my room into a room a didn’t book I booked a double bed standard room

Hotel switched me into a double standard handicap room Somehow my app said I was staying in a 1 king bed room When I arrived they gave me the handicap room and shower head was not something I could use When talked to front desk they switched me in a room they said they didn’t have When I got into the room they switched me into it was really dirty had bugs on floor carpet really stained Very frustrating with holiday inns because this isn’t the first time they do this to my family and I

I have been staying here for years If you stay for a few days you for sure won’t be disappointedI called ahead to ask that we have a room by the elevators and was assured we did At time of check in we were 1 room from the end of the hall way opposite of elevator I informed the gentleman of what I was promised and he stated there was nothing he could do about it We were four and there were only towels for 3 I was also told that breakfast was included with our stay as it has been with all our stays at different Hilton properties BUT was told as we approached breakfast area that free breakfast was not included

Overall, I enjoyed my stayPros:- Beautiful hotel in a great location Easy access to highways and close to shopping, food and entertainment

– Room was comfortable and clean Equipped with microwave, fridge and Keurig Good water pressure in the shower- Breakfast attendant was very helpfulCons:- I didn’t like $895 for cereal, toast and some fruit- 50% of the time I stopped by the front desk, it was empty Once I did see a sign that they had stepped away but every other time, I had to look around to find the staff member When I did hunt down the one guy, he wasn’t exactly friendly when I mentioned that I had been looking around for him But everyone is entitled to a bad day, I suppose- On the day I was checking out, housekeeping knocked on my door at 8:30 am and then again an hour later They were polite each time but if check out is 11 am, I didn’t really appreciate the constant checking on my room before that time

Had a break in to my car Was checking out and the discovery meant we were stuck Had parked by a surveillance video that turns out “does not work”

Beware: if you value your vehicle, none of the cameras outside work The break in meant I have to stay in the area an extra day No help at all from front desk They were “full”, but did not even try to help me find another place to stay, did not help with the car situation, or suggest places I could reach out to, they basically left me on my own Oh, but they did give me two extra hours in the room, yet made it clear I had to be out when the time was up Thanks to a fantastic representative from Hilton Honors, found another hotel nearby that hosted us while we waited for a tow truck, and went out of their way to make sure we were safe and felt welcome Hampton Inn employees could not be bothered A lot of the problem could have been controlled if their outside cameras actually worked and they noticed when our car was being vandalized or could have given us video to share with the police I’m done with Hampton Inn This one, and any other of the brand, if this is how they treat their guests when there is a struggle

I was told that I could have an early check in The lady I spoke with guaranteed I could check in at1:oo pm with no problems and my name would be at the top of the list When we arrived we were told too bad they didn’t have a room, and they had already given the room to other customers early

Also, items that are normal in any hotel and are the minimum you should have and expect in a hotel were not there All the items to make coffee but no coffee No small laundry bags in the room for dirty clothes Also, the room we had didn’t have a shower liner in the shower So when you took a shower the water of course went all over the floor because the shower Curtin is short and is actually hangs above the bath tub The bathroom was all rusty and yucky probably from all the water coming from the shower The room smelled of smoke and musty smell Would check out another hotel near by before selecting this one I was really disappointed as I always love the holiday inn express and expected this visit to be the same Unfortunately, it was not

Keri Anderson

I booked this hotel because of the indoor pool and hot tub The water level on the hot tub was at the jets or right below and I went to put my feet in it was so nasty there was stuff floating in it And appeared to have algae

They had a huge wedding party therr for the weekend as well I told the front desk and she assured that maintenance would be out to take care of it the next day Since I used my points and money for 2 rooms for 2 nights and we were there to celebrate my son’s 16th and my granddaughters 8th bday It wasn’t a very good time since the whole reason for booking was to use the pool and hot tub Very disappointed!

I stay here for two weeks because my kitchen was being renovated at my house I have to work nights shifts because I work at the airport there was no privacy the cleaning ladies will wake me up everyday really early to clean after that I couldn’t go back to sleep instead of focusing on changing bed sheets they should power wash the carpet is old and smells like pets also the Mexican manager cooker is really rude and racist this people act like you staying for free when you paying money I was feeling uncomfortable the whole time but I reserved the hotel room on advance I will not recommend this place to anyone whocomes to work

There’s no privacy here the staff is constantly checking on you like you were staying for free or doing something bad when you paying money they should do a better job

I know this hotel from it’s opening and stayed here many weeks in the past years Sad but true, the service level has declined and new staff seems less motivated Breakfast is supposed to be open by 6

Today at 621 food is still carried out to waiting guests The choice of meals is less than before (no oftmals, no fruit salad) and water for tea is semi warm The bagles are not able to cut with the weak plastic knifes This hotel used to have ceramic dishes, now I must eat from plastic in 2022 again I will look for a better managed hotel nearby

I’m having to staying here for a month do to a water damage at my house, I have a cat, they allow pets, but they didn’t tell us when we leave, we have to lock up our pets while we are gone, I don’t think this is right because what if they have to go to restroom? Or if they r hungry or thirsty, I think that is torture to pets, it isn’t right and the house keeper complained because she is scared of my cat- my cat is still a baby, he isn’t even a year old yet, I will never ever be staying here again and that’s a promise, I’m still in school and while I’m at school all day I have to keep my pet locked up??? and if they pee because my pet can’t hold it?? And will be starving and dying of thirst, yea that make a lot of sense- not to mention they give us a magnet to put on the door that say “pet in room please don’t let pet out of room” oh also, one of the ladies, was trying to come in the room when I had the do not disturb sign up just to see if my cat was out, invading my privacy

Upon checking in, the front desk staff was very approachable and the front area appearance of the hotel was not When I got to my room there was a strong smell of oldest and mode I request to have my room changed due to my allergies and mode smell

the next room i was given had the same smell but not as strong I didn’t complain just felt I guess I could make it through the weekend TV channel selection was non existent the second night the neighbors up stairs was up all night partying, I finally got up at 3 am and complained to the front desk As I was walking down the hall there was a man sleeping drunk in the hallway I will never this hotel again

I can’t even say my stay was poor because the hotel cancelled my reservation before I even got there Someone called me at 12:30 pm and said the card I had on file declined because they tried to charge it before I even got there The person that called me said that that’s how they run things there

Unfortunately, I just hadn’t made it to the bank to deposit the funds in my account because I wasn’t planning on checking in until after 3 It was nowhere near check in time I have worked hotel front desk for 20 years and have never seen a hotel run their business this way Very poor process Now, I have to figure out where myself and my three children are going to stay on one of the busiest nights of the week Also, my reservation was NOT a third party or prepaid so there is NO reason to charge my credit card at 12 noon and then cancel it just because I haven’t made it the bank yet If I could give zero stars, I would How do you have an issue before the guest even arrives… RED FLAG!!!!!

Clean place and friendly staff but rooms are loud Windows don’t keep out any noise from nearby hwy and the sound of traffic is horrible Door didn’t seal properly so the bright light from hallway kept the room lit up all night

Could hear everything happening in rooms beside me and above me No breakfast at this hotel Overall, the hotel is okay but if you want peace and quiet and a hot breakfast, look elsewhere

The nicest hotel we’ve stayed at yet! Honestly, I was expecting mediocre at best So long as our room was clean & no bugs

I would have been happy NO!! THIS PLACE WAS GORGEOUS! COMFY! CLEAN!! And had great customer service!! The bed were so comfy that we didn’t want to wake up We checked in around midnight so we came in & hit the sack But everything was clean to the point you smelled the clean That made it even more comfy The room we stayed was huge! It had a lot of home comforts we didn’t need but was nice to have The small things some hotels over look, they didn’t here! The shower head was clean & clear of build up, the corners & crevasses in the entire room was clean with no dust bunnies, bugs, or cob webs The hotel gives the vibes of a fancy expensive hotel, customer service & all, with the pricing of a budget hotelThis place is marked as a favorite & we will stay again if we are in this area!!!

Everyone at the hotel was so friendly and helpful The room had a large jacuzzi tub and was beyond expectations, the breakfast was varied and of quality and the pool was open and had a very large jacuzzi as well Overall one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in a long time

Total worth the price We will definitely be back and highly recommend!

I reserved this hotel for my family for a short, overnight stay so that we could go do a fun activity in the Dallas/Fort Worth area We arrived around 7 PM and were welcomed nicely The hotel was clean and well cared for

We had a 2 bed and pull out sofa room, which was great for my family of 6 and our little dog The room was a plain old Best Western room, nothing fancyI did have to go ask for more toilet paper because house keeping didn’t leave any extra and the roll that was out was basically goneThe breakfast was very disappointing We were to breakfast by about 7:45 and there was a single banana, 4 small oranges, buiscits, sausage, eggs, bagels, cereal etc While I was eating, the biscuits and sausage were restocked to HEAPING, but never any new fruit My wife ended up not eating because she couldn’t find anything she wantedBreakfast at the hotel is a big deal for me and my family
