Ken, Jason and Kaitlyn (just for starters) are absolutely amazing!! I stayed here for 6 months and these are some of the best people I’ve ever met in the hotel industry Anytime there was ever a concern it was immediately resolved The hotel was kept immaculate and the staff were highly professional and pleasant to deal with

If I ever need another hotel in Martinsburg area there is nowhere else I would ever stay!!! Thank you guys for truly making my stay my home away from home!!!

Christian Harshman (Pearls)

Highly don’t recommend, first night in the hotel room and had 2 fleas in the bed b4 I even laid down Bedding had a lot of snags I’m aware they allow dogs in their hotel which is absolutely fine

The dogs behaved better than other customers Some of their employees are rude I had a situation and one employee told me one thing and another told me different There is absolutely no communication between staff I also had the do not disturb tag on my door and the cleaning staff came right in and of course said house keeping and I said I was in the room she apologized then said your not on a late checkout time I said I’m aware it is only 11am and my confirmation email said check out at 12pm Never again will I support a Hilton hotel! Only thing good about it was the location

I wish I could put 45 stars To start the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful in the check in process

There was some confusion (on my part, not the hotel) with our reservation The receptionist and another member of the staff helped me right through it and were actually fun to deal with The rooms was clean, comfortable and nicely laid out Pillows were pretty pathetic and the bed comfort was average – maybe a step above The gym looked pretty nice, but I didn’t have the opportunity to use it I also feel the room was a good value in a very convenient location

molly long

This is our go-to hotel My boyfriend drives tractor trailer so we stay at hotels quite frequently Rooms are very clean and comfortable

The complimentary breakfast is wonderful and it’s not just pastries and cereal, they always have eggs and sausage, or bacon in addition to waffles and an array of cereal and pastries Not to mention coffee is available anytime Staff is always eager to help We had a misunderstanding the other day over check in, and the gentleman that came in for second shift went above and beyond to accommodate us I saw a few reviews giving low scores for the smell of marijuana I’ve smelled it faintly in the hallway before, but never in our room FYI: you can’t go anywhere anymore without smelling Marijuana I stayed at the Hyatt last week and I smelled it more there than I ever have here so if you think paying more money will eliminate that, good luck to you, lol

We absolutely love Country Inn & Suites! Every time we’ve stayed in one, we’ve have a good experience They’re friendly and the rooms are always clean Would choose this chain over any other in this price range

Oh and they’re affordable and we always get the size bed that we book (we’ve had a couple where we got 2 queens or a full in two other places when we’ve booked a king, disappointing)

My husband and I stayed her over the Memorial Day weekend and we had a great stay The property was nice and clean, staff was courteous, and there were plenty of places to get a decent meal Although the hotel has a full hot breakfast

Will definitely stay again!PS: I hope Ms Jackie’s leg gets better soon – thank you for the hospitality!

Weekend Warrior

The hotel itself was nice, except for our toilet paper holder being broken on one side causing it to tilt, but the staff is the real issue On our 2nd day they had removed our card access even though we had two nights The 2nd day breakfast had a hair in the potatoes and the vegetarian and non vegetarian eggs were placed side by side which really defeats the point

There’s some definite training that needs to happen

My husband and I recently spent a 3-day weekend at the Inn made for the perfect get away Convenient from the suburbs of Washington DC, a one-hour drive took us to this wonderful spot along the Potomac and the beauty of West Virginia Everything was first-rate and provided a perfect setting to rest, relax and enjoy good food and a relaxed atmosphere

The rooms were spacious, the staff extremely welcoming and helpful, the wait-staff was every bit as good as the food, with a varied menu that didn’t try too hard and did everything we tried very well The pool was a big favorite and the bar and setting exuded a vibe that screamed “relax and enjoy” We did!! For such a laid-back setting it was apparent that the place is extremely well run, with great attention to detail, and did I mention that the staff was just outstanding – attentive, friendly and efficient We even enjoyed views of two different bald eagles from our room and the pool The guests ran from young couples to middle-age folks, reflecting the wide appeal of a well-run resort for those simply looking to get away and chill Perhaps most impressive, our stay coincided with a very large birthday party but the level of service afforded to all guests didn’t miss a beat What a find!

Shirley Stinchcomb

We had an awesome girls getaway here! All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating! We had a gorgeous view from our little balcony overlooking the Potomac! Everything was clean and the view in the pool is beyond words! Food in the dining room was excellent as was the breakfast and the crab pretzel poolside! A nice walk to the park and to town for lunch and only about 15 minute drive to Harpers Ferry Beds were super comfortable too! This will definitely be a repeat experience for us! Highly recommend!

Linda Caricofe

This is one of our favorite get awaysThe Chalet we enjoy has a whirlpool bath, well appointed bathroom with folding door entrance, double vanity sinkKing size four poster bed, a gas fireplace , even a little sitting room sectionThe balcony views are amazing

We dined there for dinnerThe menu has changed since the last time we dined thereWe could not really see any entrees to interest us except the crab cakes, which were excellentThe Triple Sec cheesecake dessert was best of show yummy !Breakfast the next day was beyond wonderfulWe both think this place is well worth many repeat stays in the future

Wayne Rankin

Nice place to stay while visiting Harper’s Ferry Had an issue with our first room where someone was already in it, but was given another without issues Front desk staff always friendly and willing to assist

Pool was heated but cool when we arrived Continental breakfast was standard but we’ll staffed to keep food refilled Would recommend

Krystle Robinson

The hotel was clean and the staff was pleasant I thought the beds were too firm, but my husband thought they were comfortable It is dated, although there are signs saying they are remodeling, so I guess they are in the process of fixing it up

The breakfast wasn’t much to speak of, but it is sufficient Overall, it wasn’t a bad stay, but I don’t think it is a place we would come back to

Jason Shoffner

It was really “just and okay” place to stayGood: Bed, pillows and blankets are comfortable The room was fairly clean

The staff was friendly and attentiveBad: Towels were not clean from the start, the furniture is beat up, the hotel misrepresents what they are charging you (explain- $20900 each night comes to $41800, they tacked on $7235 in taxes and amenity fees) But then for the amenities the only thing that was avail was the microwave in the lobby No pool, not bar, no nothing)We wont be staying again

Jillian Lewis

Seems overrated Exterior looks better than interior You’re charged $10 for the breakfast, a $5 dinner voucher and two mini bottles of water in your room

The breakfast bar had no hot food, just basics- bagels, cereal, juice etc The room was clean but light didn’t work in the shower The shampoo, soap and conditioner offered were large used bottles, not covid friendly Convenient to the casino but not much better than a 2-3 star hotel in my opinion

Joana O’Brien

Do you have a gambling problem? If so, don’t come here It is the perfect size for a weekend getaway The crowd is humble, but the buzz is exhilarating

It doesn’t matter if you’re on the slots or playing at the tables, you are usually treated with good service If you want to drink, I recommend tipping well, the waitresses will remember you and you will be taken care of The food is nothing to write home about, but it will fill your belly and you’re not there to eat anyway Stay far away from the “fancy” restaurant as you will get the worst service in the entire place The food is terrible and I’m surprised the service hasn’t taken down the casino The horse races are superb, the energy is captivating and back before COVID you could bring your kids The place has smoking and non-smoking areas: note to non-smoking customers: please don’t complain about the smokers in the smoking area I understand, but we are shunned everywhere else There are numerous types of slot machines and the table games are great If you’re just looking for a good time out to let go and have some fun – go visit

Comfortable beds which is my #1 priority Very clean Great breakfast offerings

Close to interstate for easy entrance and exit Very friendly front desk personnel which you don’t find everywhere Large screen TV, microwave, small fridge, great ergonomic desk and chair if you need to work This is now my go-to hotel when traveling from NC to PA!

Cindy Tennant

Great stay on my way to NY from NC Everything was very clean Corey at the front desk was helpful and welcoming

The breakfast had good selections – fruit, yogurt, omelet, pastries – very good! It was such a pleasant experience I stayed there again on my way back to NC The traffic was a bit of an ordeal due to construction, but the morning front desk staff suggested taking a right turn down to the traffic circle/roundabout to avoid a difficult left turn I appreciated that !

This hotel exemplifies what staying at a Hampton Inn should represent Meticulously clean and comfortable Breakfast staff especially friendly and extremely attentive to details

Location ideally located to see several national parks in area As a last stay after 3 weeks on the road, and staying exclusively at Hampton Inns, our trip is definitely ending on a high note

Donald Williams

Very clean, well maintained property Management team and staff were all professional, knowledgeable and demonstrated true “customer service!”A true hospitality team! A model property for Hilton! Thank you for a great hotel stay experience

Madison Crawford

I have to say I went for a relaxing day with my family for my daughter’s birthday and everything was absolutely great The staff was friendly the rooms were clean and comfortable they put out fresh warm cookies in the evening and the breakfast choices were delicious They had everything from omelets to make your own waffles cereal and fruit for the kids yogurts muffin and bagel station even to go breakfast bags to grab on the go

But the hot tub wasn’t working and that was a big part of picking that hotel for my daughter’s birthday so I had emailed customer service and they actually responded the very next day and we’re very sincere with their apologies and wanted to make it up by refunding our room so we could take our daughter back to redo her birthday! And we will because everything else at that Hampton inn was super great But knowing that the people working in the customer service department actually really cared about my daughter’s birthday vacation not going exactly as planned and making up for it is not something you get with all businesses and it makes me truly appreciate this company even more I would recommend the Hampton inn in Charlestown to anyone looking for a nice comfortable places with all the right amenities!

Everyone at this 2-story hotel was super friendly and the room was very clean Bed was comfortable, we did not smell any smoke or mold in the room which I was surprised and happy because it’s very close to the river Breakfast was quite complete with sausage gravy and biscuits, scrambled eggs, fruit, waffles you can make yourself, cereal, oatmeal

Fridge was quite adequate and microwave included Very close to the river which was handy as we were there to kayak during our honeymoon Would 100% stay here again!

This is an older property for sure, but it was the cleanest place we’ve stayed, in a LONG time! Friendly staff, easy parking, immaculate bathroom, nice size mini fridge and microwave Breakfast was good and very clean The only downside is there isn’t an elevator and we were on the second floor

Very close to Harpers Ferry National Park and a superb restaurant called The AnvilI would definitely stay there again if the need arose

QUALITY! The name exemplifies the experience here The rooms, lobby, and every other area I observed were very clean The staff friendly & customer service oriented

There are “3 star” hotels nearby that cannot even compare to this place in regard to sanitation& service The rates are reasonable for the area If you wanted to, you could walk to Historic Harpers FerryThere was a good breakfast (as far as chains go) Make your own waffle, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, cereal, etc Did I mention the “3 star” hotels nearby make you pay for breakfast?Highly recommend this family operated hotel, and I would definitely return Please leave a tip for housekeeping, they deserve it!

Wonderful hotel I flew in from Texas for a funeral, and booked a room next door at the Red Roof Inn, which was a huge mistake (see my review on THAT place) It was absolutely awful, and I was going to be in town for 5 days in a high stress situation

I needed better accommodations at the last minuteIn desperation, I walked in to the Holiday Inn and was greeted by a very friendly young man by the name of Teddy I explained my predicament, and Teddy saved the day He got me a very nice, quiet, clean, modern room at an excellent priceand I was able to get out of that dump next door I can’t thank him enoughThe Holiday Inn was very comfortable Everything worked great, and the location was perfect for everything I needed to get done The whole staff at the Holiday Inn Martinsburg were friendly, professional, and helpful I couldn’t have asked for anything better Next time I come back this is where I will stay

The pool was over crowded with teenagers and no parents in sight Went in the hot tub for a few minutes but it smelled like a swamp It must have been pool closing time because they turned the hot tub off after we got out and the water was green! It looked fine while the jets were on because all we could see was the bubbles

Would not recommend this place if your planning to use the pool or hot tub

Hotel was located in a mall parking lot which had stores and restaurants that were walkable Nearby Target was a plus to stock up on necessities The room was large and clean

The bed was comfy and the TV was adequate The room had a mini fridge and microwave which was a nice plus The noise from the nearby highway was loud Rooms facing the back of the hotel were definitely louder, but the sound was noticeable in the front as well They had free breakfast in the AM, but very limited selection Cereal, oatmeal, eggs, some fruit The same every morning

Rooms are nice, clean Check in was a little problematic Breakfast was not so good

6-9 but they started cleaning it up at 8:52 Even worse they didn’t stock it so they wouldn’t have as much to clean I’m guessing I got there at 8:20 and there were two yoghurts, only two milks and some low fatThe worst part was the woman ran a cart at me and made me jump out of the way or I would have got run over Never seen such rudeness!Pool and hot tub were out of order a sign said Just saw a review from two months ago that the pool and hot tub were not available and they stated that it’s supposedly been out of order for monthsGo some place else! There’s others right around here!

My husband and I were there on Friday, Sept 10We absolutely do not understand the negative reviews about this place

It is an older hotel but kept up nicelyCheck in staff was extremely friendly, professional and promptOur room was clean, comfortable and the bathroom was spic and span (my personal standard)The reason for a 4 was the breakfast was nice, however could have been refreshed a bit sooner than was Some hot things were quite cool and cold fruit all but gone and tepid Not a huge deal at all Staff members were more than happy to accommodate As nearly everywhere, employees are stretched as they were not fully staffedWe would definitely stay there again and recommend Thanks very much

They will cancel your reservation 2 days before because they are overbooked even though I booked a month before GM was rude when I asked why and she said it was an emergency I called Hotels

com and that’s how I found out they overbooked Hotelscom booked me into the Home2 Suites which is way nicer I stayed at the Ramada last year but will never be back especially after staying at this hotel it’s a world of difference

Outside and lobby looked wonderful Great restaurant nextdoor and all around Pretty nice place other than not any blanket on the bed

Carpet in elevators were dirty and coming apart I expected more from a Ramada Looks like they could spend a little money on elevator carpet So much noise from other guest it was hard to fall asleep
